If you are thinking about Israel at all, call in and have us mail you the brochure and that trip will leave on February of next year. Of course, that’s contingent on if the Lord doesn’t come and raptures out this year. could come this year and the most optimum day would be the Feast of Trumpets, which is at the end of this month, September 30th, or October 1st.

It’s a two-day celebration. And at the end of that two days, after many blowings of the shofar, the rams horn, they blow a long blast on the shofar and it’s called the last trump. What does the Bible say? At the last trump that’s when we go up. That’s when we’re going to meet the Lord And so maybe it’ll be at that particular time of the Feast of Trumpets at the end of the conclusion of the two-day celebration that the horn will play and up will go and will meet the Lord in the air and I’m excited that won’t bite you, but I’m looking forward to meeting all of you that are believers if you’re a believer you’re going to be in the Rapture and we will see you in the air above the atmosphere of the earth.

We also have the Strong’s Concordance. We have the Jamison Faucet Brown commentary. That’s the one I like. It retails for about 160. We have it for a gift of 100. It covers something on every burst of the Bible. We also have the Jay Verne McGee 5-volume commentary. beautifully bound. It retails for 200. We have it for a gift of 100 and it covers something on every chapter of the Bible. Between the two you’ll have a full coverage of the scriptures and really you’ll probably be able to answer most any question that will come your way if those two are in your library, in your arsenal.

We also have tracks that work by books and evangelism, CDs and tapes of my teachings have been about 40 different series of 10 to 12 hours and they’re available. We just finished first and second Peter. What a great series that was. A lot of people just have enjoyed it so much and they’ve been giving away the CD sets to friends and while they have just raved about the first and second Peter set. We also have the Gospel of John that we did just prior to that and we have the Book of Revelation, the Book of Daniel, and the Book of Romans and so many more.

It really is an exciting study. We’re going to get into the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to take our callers. But in the prophet Micah in the Old Testament, one of the minor prophets, Micah chapter Verse 1 tells of the last days, which I believe we are in right now, beginning to unfold as the Lord will come back and establish a thousand-year kingdom here on this earth. It says in verse 1 of Micah 4 in the last days.

If you are marking your Bible, you might want to mark those words the last days. It shall come to pass, and this is what is going to happen in the last days. That the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be exalted in the top of the mountains. Well, the house of the Lord is the temple. And guess what? All this discussion we are having about a third temple is about this very temple we are reading about here in Micah chapter 4 verse 1.

In the last days it shall come to pass that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established. The mountain upon which it is built is Mount Moriah. It’s the Mount of Sacrifice. It’s the Mount that God had Abraham go to to offer up his son, Isaac. God already knew what he was going to do on Mount Moriah. And he had his temple there. Solomon built the temple there. And then the second temple was built after the Babylonian captivity.

But we know that a third temple will be built, but also Jesus died in Jerusalem for the sins of the world. He didn’t die in Bethlehem, he didn’t die in Nazareth, Jesus died in Jerusalem and it’s Jerusalem that’s the city of redemption and Jerusalem is the city that Jesus will ruin the world from when he comes to his second coming. So it says here that the mountain of the Lord’s house which is Mount Moriah shall be exalted in the top of the mountains and it should be exalted above the hills and people shall flow unto it.

That’s during the millennium. People will come from all over the world and it says in verse 2, many nations shall come and they’ll say, come and let us go to the mountain of the Lord. That’s Mount Moriah and through the house of the God of Jacob, that’s the temple and that’s the third temple. The fellow that is coming to Mar-a-Mate Gershan Solomon is the man who has been getting the stones for that temple and we are there. The preparations have been made.

As I have said several times on our trip to Israel back in February, we actually saw the Menorah, 92 pounds of gold, beaten to one seven branch candlestick. Also, we saw the implements for sacrifice and the preparations for getting this temple going have already been made. In fact, what do you think they’ll do? They’ll put a one-dad in a Jerusalem paper that they need some priests. They’ve already found the priest. There is a special group of men that are of the family of co-house that will be offering the sacrifices during the tribulation period.

They have a special DNA gene and they have been identified as the ones who are absolutely legitimate and qualified to be the ones who would touch the sacrifices and offer them. Did you know that the priestly tribe was Levi? But only one family, the family of co-house, could actually do the sacrificing. And so they found two thousand of these men, and there is a mock temple right now in the Judean wilderness where it’s on a scale of one to one and they’re practicing how to offer the sacrifices and how to re-establish the temple worship.

Well, it says here in verse 2 of I have Mike in chapter 4, many nations shall come and say, come and let us go to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, that’s the third temple. And he will teach us of his ways, will walk in his paths for the law shall go forth out of Zion and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Well, that’s going to happen. And guess what? The whole earth will finally be at peace.

Just as the angel announced that the first coming, that there would be peace on earth good will toward men, it’s going to take place at the second coming. Look at those three. He shall judge among them many people and rebut strong nations afar off, and they’ll be their swords in the plasheirs and their spears in the pruning hooks, nations shall not lift up a sword against nations, neither shall they learn war any more. Wow, there is a day coming when there will not be any war.

Nations will not have any weapons of war, and they will obviously be totally at peace. This is an exciting chapter. I guess what it says in Micah chapter 5, as it describes the one who is coming to sit in that third temple, it tells us that he would come into this world the first time through Bethlehem. That’s right. Micah 5.2 says, but thou Bethlehem Ephrata, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall come forth unto me, that is to be ruler in Israel.

He is going forth to have been from a old, even from everlasting. My friend, only God is from everlasting. This one that would be born in Bethlehem would actually be God who is everlasting and he would take on flesh in Bethlehem. It tells us in verse 1 of chapter 5 of Micah that he’s rejected. He goes back to heaven. He’s about to come again. When he comes he’ll come back to a temple that’s been built. That’s why we’re talking about this temple.

It is exciting to be living in an age when this is about to take place. And it can happen very, very quickly. If you haven’t trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you need to do that. It’s the most important decision that you’ll ever make. And the Bible is very clear about how to receive that salvation. People use very bad terms all the time I hear them every day like I want to give my life to Christ or I want to give my heart to Christ and that’s not salvation.

That’s where you’re the giver and God’s the receiver. Salvation is a gift from God and God is the giver and we’re the receivers and so we don’t give God our heart, we don’t give him our life to be safe. We receive the gift of eternal life which is by faith. In Romans 623 it says, the gift of God is eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life. Romans 623. It’s a gift from God and you simply receive it by trusting Christ.

You’re saying, I hope you’ve done that. And if you have, when the rapture happens, which could happen in in the next couple of weeks. You could have them this year. I don’t know what year he’s coming, but it sure could happen. And if you’re a believer, you’re going to go up in the air to meet the Lord in the upper atmosphere, and you’ll never die. You’ll be transformed into your new body on the way up. And it’s an exciting thing to think about, but the Bible clearly describes it.

And I’ll meet you there because I’m going. I’m going to try to give everybody a high five. In any case, the rapture is right around the corner and we know that because the Jews are back in the land, because the preparations for the third temple have been made, and it could happen at any time. I’m Dr. Hank Lynch from This is Bob Alain. We’re going to go to the phone lines and you’re welcome to call us at 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771.

We have Angel in St. Petersburg and Angel, welcome to By Blind You Are On The Air. Hi Hank. My question is what the Bible says. Hello Michael. I mean Angel. I think we hung up on Angel. Maybe you’ll have to call back. back or somehow it got hung up we try to get up I get it out of it I think whoa well Angel have to call back he has a question but we don’t know what it is we’re gonna go to Mike in Pompano Beach Florida and Mike welcome to Bible and you’re on the air hello yeah Mike yeah you’re on the air go ahead Don’t listen don’t listen to radio Hey My question comes from 45 I say a 45 and 7 Okay, I’m turning it right now Isaiah 45 and verse 7 all right hold on and Let’s see here 45 7 says

I I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create evil, I am the Lord, do all these things. Well, I am sure it is about the creating of evil. What is interesting here is if you have a Scofield reference Bible, it helps us tremendously. tells us that the word evil here is from the Hebrew word ra, wa translated sau, wretchedness, adversity, afflictions, calamities, but never translated sin. God created evil only in the sense that he made sau, wretchedness, et cetera, to be the sure fruits of sin.

Notice what God created was the consequences for sin. he did not create evil he did not create sin and so it’s really uh… part of the translation problem there but the word evil is never translated sin I hope that helps. Mike, are you there? Okay. If you have the scope here, the scope of the bottom really does. Yeah, I’m there. Okay, now I hear you. So in other words, the scope of the Bible tells us it’s never translated to sin.

It means the consequences for sin. If you commit a sin, there is a consequence. And God created the consequences which are sorrow, adversity, wretchedness and so on calamities that will occur if you commit sin. Hope that helps. Thank you, Mike. And that was Mike down in the Pompano Beach. We have Armando in St. Petersburg, Armando. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on here. Good morning, Mr. Leastner. Good morning. I would like you to explain to me verses 4 from 13 looks like a Holy Spirit that will be judged by the works.

I think you explained that to me I am going to have that only since the end of the radio. Sure. This is a passage that people get mixed up on in the commentary. Don’t do very well on. And this is Romans chapter two. It says, I want to begin up a little bit earlier. It says in verse six, who rendered every man according to his deeds, verse seven, to to them who by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality and eternal life, but to them that are contentious and do not obey the truth, unrighteousness, indignation, wrath and tribulation and so on.

The key word in this whole passage I believe is in verse 7, seek when a person is seeking to the best of his knowledge, to the amount of light that he has, God promises that he is going to find salvation. But it is always in Christ. Earlier in chapter 1 Paul says very clearly in verse 16, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for if the gospel is the power of God and the salvation to everyone that believe it.

And we find as you We move a little bit further down in chapter 2 here. It says one day everybody will be judged according to the gospel. So ultimately if a person is seeking they might like Cornelius in Acts 10. He was a devout man. He was a one who prayed. He was one who gave much arms to the people. And God of course saw his prayers and he sent word to Cornelius to contact Peter and Peter would tell him how to be saved.

And ultimately what did Cornelius find out? He found out that his works wouldn’t save him, but he would be saved by faith in Christ. And in Acts 1043 Peter says to Christ, for you should give all the prophets witness, that whose silver believer in his name should receive the remission of their sins. Cornelius and all those that were his friends that were gathered together at his house that they got saved by faith alone in Christ alone without works. But yet Cornelius was already a man of work that he was just doing the best he could according to the light that he had and as he was seeking, and that’s the answer.

If you seek, you’ll find, if you knock, the goal will be opened. If you ask, it shall be given unto you, as Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount. So when you seek you’re going to find, and you’ll find that the answer is the gospel and that Jesus paid it all. I hope that helps. Thank you for calling in. And now we have George in West Palm Beach and George welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. I do.

I do. That’s what we’re doing. Yes. When you’re talking about the 144,000. Yes. It gives the different numbers for each slide, one size actually 512,000 I believe. Right, just 12,000 for each of the 12 tribes and that’s if you multiply it, 12,000 is 144,000. Okay, I’m trying to move first because I know I have a… Revelation 7 verses 4 through 8. There you go, final 4,000, but then you say something about this final 12,000 seal from the trouble, do that alone.

Right, that’s one of the 12 tribes, and you have 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes, and 12 times 12,000 is 144,000, that’s how we get the number 144,000. Okay. You’re all g-stem. Okay, now, I know you said that the Jewish men and they have to be from the treble, you know, or any one of the treble from Israel. Right. So, basically, that rules the whole weakness that’s put pain back. I’m not going to ask you. Now, this, this happened in 44,000.

I also got, I also got to be first paid by Moses and like that, they’re going to be pushed by the gospel and get saved through them and then they’re going to be the gospel also. Exactly. I believe that Moses and Elijah will come back, Revelation chapter 11. They will preach and the 144,000 will get saved and they in turn will reach millions of Gentiles and Jews for Christ according to Revelation 7 or its time. I got to go to break here, it’s time for a break.

This is Bible and I’m not going to drink Linscherman. We’ll take a short break. If you can help Bible and give us a call here and offer to give a gift by credit card if you would, and we’ll take a break and we’ll come back into a second half hour in just a moment. So don’t go away, I’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr.

Englinsom and it’s great to be with you today. Thanks again for tuning in. We appreciate you so very, very much. and we appreciate the fact that you’re listening to Bible and I’m testing that word along to your friends. I meet folks every day that listen to Bible and they tell me what it means to them. That’s exciting how we’re able to explain the word of God to people in a intrigues that they can understand it. I think I showed the story.

Two little ladies told me they were in their 70s that they learn more from Bible and then And they had from all the pastors that they had ever had or sat under in their entire life. That’s amazing. But we are definitely making a dent out there with people, getting them into the Word, getting them to study it, getting them to pass that word along, and getting everybody clarified and on track, which is what it’s all about. God bless every one of you who listen and pray for Bible and because we need that vital partnership between you and us as you pray for us and give the Bible and we’re able to be on the air and share the Gospel with Christ and explain the Scriptures and hopefully we’ve been a blessing to you.

Sure, there you are Israel with me and if we go, the Lord hasn’t come back. February 23, 2009. It will be a great trip. It really will. Just get a brochure. Call me. Give us your address. We’ll mail it right out. If you can’t wait, you can go to the website BibleLineMinistries.org and click on the Bibleline News on the homepage. And you’ll find it’ll come up and say Israel, tour brochure. Click on that and you’ll have a full brochure and you could print it out on your computer.

Love to have you go with me. It will be trip members 16. We will have a wonderful time and we are going to stay in some beautiful places and enjoy. Just drink in on the whole atmosphere of Israel where the Lord Jesus came and took on flesh and then later went to the cross of Calvary. If you would like to, you may call and give a gift to the Bible, and that would really help us out. We are totally list and supported, and we hate to talk about money, but God is going to bless those who give to a ministry that’s reaching out with the gospel and getting people saved, and we believe Bible and is filling that bill.

And if you give, I know you’re going to be richly rewarded in heaven one day, which is what it’s all about. I’m Dr. Engleinsch and we’re going to have to go back and rejoin the stations that have been on break, but we’re going to do the second half hour of Bibleline right now. So don’t move that radio. Don’t change that dial. Keep it exactly where it’s at. And here we go. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr.

Lynch from a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and… Where I’m the pastor and we’d love to have you come by and visit with us sometime and visit our resource center. But guess what? Tomorrow night, if you’re driving this is you can come in here. Gershaun Solomon in person. He lives in Jerusalem.

He was born in Jerusalem. He is the head of the Temple Mount Faithful. He has been cutting the stones for that third temple ever since the six day war back in 1967. and while you might get a chance to shake his hand and talk to him if you come tomorrow night, I’m sure you will, and it will be a real thrilling event. We have been talking about how the temple is important, and it’s throughout the Bible we just covered today in the first half of the program, Micah chapter 4 verse 1 and on and it talks about in the last days that this temple there in Jerusalem will be there and Christ will be speaking and teaching from there and ruling over the whole earth from there from that temple.

Wow, it’s there everywhere and we can show passage, passage, passage, passage. And if you take the Bible literally, you’re going to find there is a third temple coming and we sure hope that you’ll come and see Gersh on Solomon tomorrow night at seven o’clock right here in our headquarters at 4811 George Road in Tampa, Florida. Well, I’m excited about it. I hope you are and we’ll have a great opportunity to get an update on where we are with the building of the Third Temple.

In many cases we had a caller and I don’t know that I got his question fully answered because we got a call back and he wanted to know about verse 13 of Romans 2. Well it says not the hearers of the word or just before God, but the doers of the word shall be justified. Well you know the interesting thing is that there has nobody, not one person who has ever kept the law. Nobody has ever done it. So it says that the doers of the Lord, but who has ever done it?

Jesus said, in John’s Gospel 719, he says, did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you have kept it. Nobody has ever kept the law. The Bible tells us that everybody has broken the Romans 3.20 says that the law one day will condemn every unbeliever as they will find that they had to broken the law. They had obviously not been able to achieve it, and as a result they will be condemned before God unless they trust Jesus before they die, and then God gives them his righteousness.

Hope that helps a little bit. I think it was Mike done. I’ll pop it on beach and ask that question. We’re going to go back to the phone lines here in just a second. I hope you have your pen right that number number down one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one give me a call one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one and we have D in my and M.E. Florida and D. Welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air.

Yes. Hi. Thank you for taking my call. I have a question because I wanted to make sure that my friend is still saved and they’re not going to end up going in the wrong direction. They They say that they’re a Christian and yet they will the commandments not only by putting marks in their bodies, they lie over and over. Are they self-deceived or you know… Well as far as you know if they think they can just get away with that, yes they are.

You know in Galatians chapter 6 it says do not be deceived, God is not mocked for whatsoever a man so if that Shelley also reaped. We are talking about the Christian life and we are talking about rewards. As far as salvation is concerned, that is a gift and it is received by trusting Christ as Savior. When you trust Jesus, He gives you the gift of eternal life. Then we have the choice of serving or being a disciple and as we serve Him, we are going I’m gonna get…

The results of what we do. If we don’t serve him or we are a bad servant, then we’re going to not get the rewards that we get. In fact, it says, don’t be deceived. God is not mocked. Whatever a man so’s that she’ll also reap. So if you sow to the flesh, then you’re going to have the fruit of the flesh. But if you sow to the Spirit, then you’ll have the fruit of the Spirit. And the rewards of the company.

that in heaven. So the difference is between salvation which is what God does for us and rewards which our what God gives to those who faithfully serve in. What that helps. Okay, yes it does. Okay, thank you very much. You’re very welcome. Thank you, Dee. But as far as salvation, it’s a gift and that person is saved eternally once they trust Christ. Frank in Miami Frank welcome to my boy. You’re on air Good morning. Yeah, good morning How are you doing this morning?

Good. I have a question. I was once told the Bible was almost like a book, instruction book with the wife. I’ve recently come into faith with the Lord several months ago. And it’s ironic because as I was coming into faith, my life started unraveling. Father passed away. Life, you know, one of the five foot divorce. Although we have three kids together and that’s not something I want. Especially going through the field. as a family, the most important thing in life, and the most important thing that is, it’s basically the structure.

And I wanted to know, were there any specific passages in the Bible that helps you come in the faith to have you pray? And have you prayed just more or less to understand what God’s will is, what God will? Well, the 119th Psalm is a wonderful Psalm in their David praise several times for God to open his eyes. to the truth which were in his word and We find that throughout the Bible, you know the book is a book that it’s It’s spiritually discerned and the Holy Spirit unfolds it or illuminates our understanding when we seek after the truth.

So you may have found Christ as your Savior, but if you want to proceed further, you still need to seek and not can ask. If you seek, you’re going to find. So you need to say, Lord, I want to know more of your Word and I want understanding. Open my eyes to understand it. There’s a great hymn open my eyes that I may see glimpses of truth the past for me and so Some of these great hymns are all about the same thing where we ask God to open a rise and let us really see The big picture and the scriptures for what they are it’s exciting But I would recommend that whole Psalm 118 Well, you said I was Psalm 119.

Yeah, 119 I thank you very much. You’re doing welcome. Thank you for calling. We now have Let’s see here. We have Andres in Tampa Andrew John line hello hello. You’re on the air. Oh Good morning. First of all, I gotta tell you, your program is such a help to the baby person, such as myself and then very appreciative for that. Actually, I have two questions for you. First of all, you had an earlier caller who asked about the creation of evil by God.

Can you extrapolate from the fact that God created Satan, that he kind of second-handedly did create evil then? This is true, don’t you? He created all of the angels at one time and he created a force Lucifer and but he did not not create evil or make a choice like that, but he gave them the option of choice. Now, to give all the angels and to give Lucifer the choice to accept or reject the Lord, God knew that when he did that, that that would bring ruin and chaos and destruction for those who would reject him and choose their own way.

That’s exactly what’s happened. God, I think, was willing to pay that price. The reason why is he didn’t want to just create robots. He could have made every one of us where we would just automatically respond to him and love him. We would just extend our arms and say, I love you, God, I love you, God. Well God would have found no pleasure in that. He won creatures of genuine choice and so he gave the angels a choice and a third of them failed and then he gave us in the human race also a choice.

And many will not trust the Lord and that’s unfortunate. I also have another question if I may. Being a baby Christian as I am and you being saved recently, how does one go about beginning to study the Bible? I find it very difficult. I start reading it but I just can’t get through. Is there a process by which one can study the Bible that just makes it easier to put it into some kind of chronological context? So I would begin in the New Testament and I would begin maybe with the Gospel of John.

John’s Gospel. Gospel is really straightforward and I would read John’s Gospel four or five times before I would go anyplace else. If you have the Scofield Bible, which I recommend so highly, The notes in there are very helpful to really get you going and get you cranked up and keep you right on target. And basically it’s not how much quantity, not how much, how many verses you read, but do you understand what you’re reading? So the approach is you have to take your time and in like in John 3 16 for God’s love the world, ask yourself what does that mean?

He doesn’t mean he hated the world, but he loved the world. Then what did he do as a response? He gave his own and he got the son who is that as Jesus. Whoever anyone that would believe or trust in him would not perish because Christ perished in your place, but you would have everlasting life. Just go out at phrase by phrase and think about it and ask yourself, what does this phrase mean? What does that phrase mean? You’re on your way.

way. Thank you very much. You’re welcome. Thank you for the column. And we have that whole gospel of John on CD and on DVD, which is very helpful as I will guide you through all of the chapters in John’s gospel, verse by verse. I think you’ll find it a real blessing. We now have Adam. And Adam is in Tampa, Florida. and Adam welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yeah, like my question comes from Acts chapter 8 where Philip goes into Samaria and I was just wondering do you think that Simon the Sorcerer was saved and also it’s kind of a two-part question.

What about why do you think that after preaching the gospel and that ties with Philip, when Philip was preaching gospel backfires and why did Peter and John have picked up and they’ll hang up and listen. Thank you. Let him… What happened here? If you have internet access, you can go to my website and on the home page in the bottom right it says Dr. Lindstrom’s articles. Go to the one I have written about Simon the Sorcerer and I go to this passage pretty clearly.

But what happened was that Simon was a Sorcerer and he had a real grip on the people. People followed him and worship him and he was able to do some miraculous things. But when Philip came to town he was able to do greater things than Simon the Sorcerer did. And so when Philip spoke it says in verse 12 when they believed Philip. So it’s interesting here, no word does it say they believe on Christ. They didn’t trust Christ. They believed Philip and they believe he was a better miracle worker than Simon was.

And then we have Simon himself also believe that this guy is my competition and he’s better than I am. And so he was trying to figure out how can I purchase this magic bag of tricks that Philip has. And so a little bit later we find that he says, can I buy this? And of course Philip tells him, or Peter tells him that you can’t buy salvation as a gift. And here it tells us in verse 21 to Simon.

Peter says, now has neither part nor lot in this matter. Now the word matter in the Greek is the Greek word logos. And it’s the same word that’s used in John 1 1 of Christ. In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God. The Word was God. So God is the Word and the Word was made flesh. And he had no part in this word, which is Jesus, and so he was never saved. And the people were not saved either.

And Paul and John, or Peter and John, had the gift of the sermon, realized that. And as they explained the gospel, that all these people at Samaria got saved. But Simon did not. Simon never did get saved, unfortunately, for him. Thank you for that call. We now have, we have ever. From Palmetto, Florida. And let’s see what line is that. All right. From Palmetto, Florida. Welcome to Bibleline. Thank you for calling in. Yes. You’re on there. Go ahead. I would like to ask a question.

Go ahead. So I mean foot and lower the bottom. So bring all you. and to the storehouse. That and where I hear the storehouse. Well, that was in the Old Testament, and the storehouse is Jerusalem, and it had to do with the Israeli government that’s in Malachi 310. And that’s not true today. We bring our gifts to the Lord wherever we worship. If you have your Bible there, turn the first Corinthians 16. And here it says in verse 2, 1 Corinthians 16, upon the first day of the week, let every one of you lay by himself in store.

It’s got to have prospered you. So here when they would come to church in Corinth, they would bring their gift there to the local church. In the local church? Yep. And if you don’t have a good local church, then you, wherever you’re getting fed or whatever you’re getting taught or blessed, that’s where you got to give your money.

All right. Thank you very much. You’re sure welcome and thank you. The other was under the Old Testament time and it was a part of the law and they were required to do that. And the storehouse was the temple in Jerusalem. Okay. We’re going to go now to Mirna and she is in Tampa, Florida and Mirna, welcome to by one year. Hi. Good morning. My name is Murna and I would like to have a question about speaking in tongues.

Okay. Is that an evidence that if you, if you’re speaking, are you any less saved if you don’t have the gift of tongues? No, in fact, I don’t have the gift. And I don’t believe the gift exists anymore. It was a temporary gift and it ceased at the end of the first century. If you read 1 Corinthians 13 verses 8 through 10, there were three gifts that were temporary in nature that were going to cease. And it taught us about the gift of prophecy and the gift of knowledge and the gift of tongues.

It said tongues with cease when that which is perfect has come, which we believe is the completion of the New Testament record. And when the New Testament was finished at the end of the first century, the partial gifts disappeared. What we have today is a counterfeit. The real gift was to speak in a known foreign language without any training whatsoever. And it was not only a specific language, but it was a specific dialect of that language. Greek word is used as dialectos and so it was a specific dialect of whatever language you would be given.

But without any training you ought to be able to go out and witness the people of that language group and lead them to Christ. So even for the only requirement is just confessing your sins and asking Christ to come into your life and we don’t think you should. wealth to be saved. There’s only one thing you can do, and that’s to simply trust Christ. You trust that he died for you and paid for your sins. There’s no human work involved at all.

So confession is something we do afterwards save where we can test that we are saved. As we witness to others, repentance is a change of mind which occurs when you believe, when you change your mind from whatever you’ve been trusting in Christ and we simply trust Him in our saved. But then to be rewarded and to be a disciple and to be a blessing to others, we ought to become a disciple and choose to serve the Lord after we’re saved.

All right. That leaves me from the clock. All right. Thank you very much. All right. You’re very welcome. Okay. And you’re able to be sure of your salvation right now. I believe you are able to say I know I’m saved, I know I’m going to heaven, I know my sins are forgiven. I know I’m a child of God because the Bible says so. It says in 1 John 5, 13, these things have I written unto you to believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.

Not hope, not guess, not perhaps not maybe, but it says you can know. 1 John 5, 13, written to those that believe so that God tells you and me that our believers that we can actually know that we have eternal life. Tomorrow night we’re very excited if you’re in the Tampa Bay area We’d love to have you come and here Gershaun Solomon. He’s traveling here from Jerusalem. That’s where he lives He is the head of the temple Mount Faithful.

He has been Ever since the six-day war he was there on the temple mount with Mosheldai and the General with a patch over one eye and When they conquered Jerusalem again for the first time in two thousand years years, the Jewish people came and they wept over the fact that this is the first time they were able to approach the temple and the temple area. Of course, the temple isn’t there. And since then, obviously, he’s been cutting the stones.

And so things are ready for a temple to be built, which we believe, prophetically, will happen right after we leave at the Rapture. So it tells me that we’re very, very close to the Lord’s return. The Jews are back in the state of Israel. They are becoming the most hated devolved nations for Christ’s sake. And they’re ready to build their temple. I believe we’re about ready to depart this world. In any case, come on out tomorrow night. 7 o’clock at Calbury Community Church 4811 George Road.

We would love to have you call for information or directions. use the regular calling number for the radio program and will help you out. Again, I’m Dr. Inkinser and this is Bibleline. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. For Mark to use at the Calvary Community Church. If you’re not able to attend tomorrow night, we will videotape that. We will record it. It will be available on CD or on DVD and you’re able to order those on Friday and we’ll try to get them out as quickly as we can.

So give us a call and we’ll let you know. Okay, we’re going to take maybe an offer question here. We have so many of these. Bob says, how can we help or what can we say to somebody saved, but it’s not following Jesus in their life? Some have not grown as Christians. Well, obviously we need to encourage them in the area of the Christian life. And one of the things you might share with them is that they are going to give an account one day for whatever they have done good or bad as a Christian.

And they will suffer loss of reward or they will enjoy rewards for all eternity in heaven. So I would point out in 2 Corinthians 5 and 10 we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body, whether it be good or whether it be bad. And then it talks about the severity of God’s judgment there upon believers and says, therefore knowing the terror of the Lord we persuade men. So we ought to recognize that we’re going to have to give an account and you can’t What leaves your salvation and the judgment is not about whether you are saved or not.

Only believers are in this judgment, but the judgment is to determine whether you are rewarded for eternity or not. And many believers will suffer the loss of reward and they will experience sorrow and regret because they didn’t live for Christ after they were saved. But they are still saved. We have a call now from Miami Springs Florida and Anastene calls in. She leaves this question. As I read the Bible more and more, the more I am believing that we do not go directly to heaven, but that we will be brought up to be judged then.

Each of us says it will appear to happen in the twinkling or the blink of an eye. I cannot find any studies on this. What you are into there is soul sleep. This is a false doctrine. The body does talk about the body sleeping at death till the resurrection, but the soul does not sleep and is conscious from the moment you die, your present with the Lord and fully conscious. Read Luke 16, verses 19 to the end of the chapter.

Two men die. And they’re immediately conscious and aware of their circumstances and their conversation and memory and so on. No such thing as the soul sleeping, the body sleeps. But the soul does not sleep. Thank you so much. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Well, I’m Dr. Engleinserman. It’s been fun again to be with you today and we look forward to every day being with you here on Bibleline and we’re very excited about the Lord’s return. We know he’s coming. We don’t know when and I’m not a date-setter and we haven’t set the date of the Lord’s return. But definitely there are things that we see in the news every day and other things that alert us as to the fact that Jesus is coming.

And one of those things is the fact that the Jewish people are preparing to build that third temple which Jesus will come to when he comes. So the very fact that you see a people back in their land and they’re preparing to build the temple that Christ will come to. It tells me we’re getting very, very close. If you read your Bible, the temple is obviously very significant when you talk about God’s plan for Israel. That temple must be rebuilt and will be built right after the Rapture of the Church.

If you have any questions you can call during the week and leave them off air or you can get on the radio program live with us.
