We are excited about the fact the Lord could be back This coming Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. There’s a two-day Jewish holiday called the Feast of Trumpets It’s Russia, Shana. It’s the Jewish New Year It’s the feast we believe that whatever year Christ returns They’ll come on that feast day. There will be something that will be out of here And we’ll meet the Lord in the air. I’m not saying he’s coming this year But boy, you can’t say he won’t be coming or he couldn’t come or he might not come because he truly might come This year and that’s the most reasonable date We talked about it many times that there are seven feast days in the Bible in the Vedicist 23 We get all seven of them in one chapter and they’re all Prophetic pictures casting shadows of future things that are going to take place on the planet and the first is the piece of
Passover And guess what? Jesus died as the fulfillment of that Passover feast. That happened in Egypt, you might remember. And they had to take what? Alam and slay it in appliance blood. And that’s a picture of Jesus. When we apply the blood of Christ by trusting that He died for you and paid your sin debt until His bed and rose again from the dead, the Bible tells us that you are going to be has to work by God when he comes in judgment, every body that has believed on Christ will be exempted from death and be able to live with the Lord forever and ever in heaven.
And it’s because of the Passover Lamb. He was buried during the Feast of the Northern Bed. He rose from the bed on the Feast of First Church Day. The Bible was clearly saying that Christ is the fulfillment of that feast day in the New Testament. And we find the fourth feast. The fourth one was Pentecost. And that’s when this age began. The church age began on a Sunday. That’s when the church was born. There was no Old Testament church.
The church did not exist before Pentecost. And just as that feast began it, it happened on that feast day that the Old Spirit came and the church was begun. Well guess what? The Feast of Trumpets, the mixed feast, the fifth one will conclude this age and that’s why the rapture happens on this one that we’re talking about. So it’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, that’s September 30th, October 1st, the TNA celebration, and you’ll find Jewish people around the world pausing to celebrate their new year.
And it’s on this holiday that Jesus will come back whatever year he comes. And I don’t know if you’re excited but I am. And it is exciting to think that, wow, we We could be out of here in just a couple of days. And if you look at the world events that are certainly signs of the return of Christ, we’ve got to be getting close. It could be. I’m not saying for certain it is. By the way, if he does come this year or canceling the trip to Israel, but otherwise, you can go ahead and call him to that pressure and we’ll go to this coming February to Israel if he doesn’t come this year.
It’s exciting to be living in a time when you can be watching for the return of Christ and believe that you reasonably sure that he’s that close that you could be watching for him to come in the next few days. I’m not sure, but I’m walking extra high on my tippy toes, getting ready to leave the planet if it’s possible that it happens this year and that will be exciting. There’s a group of people that will never die according to the Bible.
It will be alive when Jesus comes and they will bottle it and be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. And from that point on, there will be forever with the Lord in heaven what an exciting thing. Do you have your Bible handy? We are going to take a look at a couple of scriptures. You know, Jesus, when you trust Him as your Savior, gives eternal life. Let me give you a great verse. John 6, 47. Jesus says, very little barely, I say unto you.
He could believe it on me. That word, believe it, means the trust for a lion-tron to put your confidence in through rest your weight upon you. When you trust Christ as your only head of heaven, he says that you will have present tense everlasting life. Amazing the better doesn’t like this verse. If you have the new American standard translation, guess what it reads. The New American Standard That’s why I don’t like that translation. It leaves out things that one phrase where Jesus says Satan get behind me totally gone from the New American Standard.
Other verses attacked the beauty of Christ, the New American Standard. I wouldn’t want that one. Anyway, we have a question. Jesus says Satan get behind me totally gone from the New American standard other verses attack the beauty of Christ New American standard. I wouldn’t want that one. Anyway, we have a wonderful book here at our Resource Center called New Age Bible versions That covers about 20 of the latest versions that are out there and shows the difficulties the problems that are brought about by some of these new ones.
And you might be carrying one of them. And you might rather be willing than informed that maybe you have a flawed Bible in your hand, which you don’t want to have, but a many, many today do. In any case, Jesus said he gives you eternal life. He turns eternal. If you have eternal life today, it’ll be eternal life tomorrow. It’ll be eternal life next week, and so on and so on. There are many many, I would say, the majority of those who claim to be Christian teach you can lose your salvation.
Now if you believe you can lose it, you are really saying that you have to be saved by works. It’s settled and a lot of people say, I’m not passing in my works, but when you really place them on with what is going on here they have to admit that they are let me just tell you what i do i ask a person you tell me Let’s say that between right now and when you die, if you live your Christian life briefly, you’ll go to heaven.
Is that what you’re teaching? Oh, they say, yes, absolutely. That’s right. If you live the Christian life, thankfully you’re going to go to heaven. And then I say, well, let me ask you this. What if you don’t live the Christian life successfully and you die? What will happen then? Oh, you’ve got a hell. Now wait a minute, wait a minute. You’re telling me that what you do between now and your death is what determines whether you’re saved or not, and that’s works.
That’s works. That’s works. And the battle is really clear that salvation is not a horse, lest any man should boast or die. So when you face them up with the reality of it all, they’re really going to have to admit that they’re trusting in their works and that makes them the Savior, not Christ, and they’re from the interest of what they’re going to do or not going to do and not what on Christ has done for you. The test of the true gospel is always this.
I hope you’ll catch this. that is the first gospel, Satan always points the lost and dying sinner to his own future and says salvation rests upon what you do or what you do not do in your future. That’s always the false part of salvation because it focuses on man and man’s works and man’s needs and that’s your works and your deeds. The true penicylation always pleased the last nine-center back to the cross of Calvary. And what happened at the cross?
Jesus said, it is finished. It really means from the Greek language in which it was written, paid and pulled. That still satisfaction was received from the sin that by Christ’s death. He paid it all, not just part. He paid for everything you’d ever commit in your whole lifetime. And so when you look at the plan of salvation and you’re looking at what people are telling you that you have to do to be saved. If the focus is on what your teacher holds for you, what you’re going to do or not going to do, that’s a false plan of salvation and you’re probably not saved, you’re probably wait trusting in your works and what you’re going to do or not going to do.
But the true plan of salvation will always point you back to the cross where Jesus is the Savior who said it’s finished, it’s done, it’s completed, it’s over, there’s nothing else necessary and all you have to do is believe or trust on me and you’ll have everlasting life. It’s a simple difference but you know most of what I heard all my life was that I had to change, that I had to join, that I had to climb, that I had to, whatever.
And it was all based on what I was going to do. And that’s what determined whether I was saved or not. There’s no place in the Bible that says you have to change in order to be saved. And that’s amazing. I think a lot of people are shocked. You know, it’s amazing that the battle teaches that you are saved just like you are, just like you are. After you become saved, the Holy Spirit comes into your life and can give you the power to have victory over sin and the little life that God can bless and reward.
My friend is nothing in the way of a change required for you to be saved. The battle doesn’t say change and I’ll save you. It doesn’t say turn from your sin and I’ll save you. It doesn’t say turn over a new leaf and I’ll save you. It simply says come. Come. Jesus said he could believeeth on me has everlasting life. I hope you have it except for the first plan which obviously again points to your life and you’re changing.
You know that puts a responsibility on you and makes you a savior and makes it you the one responsible to get yourself saved and that’s certainly not the truth at all. We are living in a time when we’re given a fast message left and right every day. The true message is that Jesus is the Savior, He fully paid your sin debt, He was paid, He rose again from the dead. When you trust in His death and shed blood at the cross, as the enemies of your salvation, He saves you eternally.
And I hope you have understood that. We are now going to go to the phone lines. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and this is Bibleline. And we have calls from all over and we’re going to go up to Pittsburgh in just a second in Pennsylvania. And the phone area, if you want to call in, is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And we’re now going to go to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We have Vivian waiting patiently. You’re welcome to Babylon, you are new. Hi Pastor Haines, I have a question for you.
Two weeks ago you mentioned the sick Christianity, and I wondered who you meant for that. Well, a lot of churches are a part of what is called counterfeit Christianity. Any church that teaches that you have to work or do something to be saved, other than faith alone in Christ, is a part of counterfeit Christianity. I have another question before you. The Orthodox Church claims there’s a first church because Paul thought the Orthodox Church is Native in mind. What do you think about that?
Well, obviously the apostles are the foundation that the Bible with the churches built, they started. Most of the New Testament churches, but we are directly linked to the Bible, not to any oral traditions or any other authorities coming down through any particular organization or denomination. Every church today has the Word of God as its authority and as it’s a book to tell us what to do. Christ is the head today living alive and able to guide and direct us.
So we don’t need to look backward. We need to look forward. And in the God’s Word and let him teach us and guide us and direct us. Okay, thank you very much. You’re so welcome, baby. And thank you for listening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We now have Corral in Miami Florida and Corral, welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Air. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. I have a two-part question for you. And if you language, okay, when did files, if you can language always not to file, if not, when did they start adding files in the language?
They never did have files. And that’s the problem when you try to even pronounce God’s name. The God’s name is for consonants and they didn’t have any vowel sounds and the pronunciation was forgotten. And so today we guess it had to pronounce a name. Then we take the full consonants, YH, W, H, and pronounce it YH way. But in 1611 they pronounced it YH. Or YH is the way we pronounce that. Nobody’s for sure, but they didn’t have vowel sounds.
How do you know Ardenai and you know him? And he can what? How do they come written and he can’t deny it now? You know him? Ardenai, we’re healing him. The letters are meant to show off hand, but if you have a score for the Bible, it does a good job on these names of God and shows you the words from which they’re coming to us from and meaning that these are all, you know, the Jewish people were afraid of pronouncing most words and those have been carried down to us, but the name of God was Because they were afraid to violate the commandment that says I shall not take the name of the Lord thy God and What’s the case of basically adding other knowledge?
We know it was not scared of the way that word bother you to use. Well, we spell it meaners. I don’t know why, but it’s uh… reading this adaptation course, but that’s probably totally correct. So I’m calling it true that? Oh the answer to that and we’ll have to maybe appeal to some of your audience that might know.
Good questions. Thank you for calling in for my name. We have now Nick in Tampa, Florida. Nick welcome to Babylon era on the air. Hello Nick. I guess Nick is not there. We’re now going to go to Jerry in Plant City and Jerry. Welcome to Bibleline. Brother you didn’t make sin. Good. Just come and sing. Amen. Oh, it did be more favorite and explain Matthew 5-7-2 and then Colossians chapter 2 verses 16 and 17. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you, brother. In 19, 2017, Christ is talking about the Bible, the word of God. He did not come to do well with the Old Testament Scriptures, which are called the law. But in Colossians, he is talking about the actual ordinances, the actual rules that were given to Mount Sinai. And he did come to abolish that. And he died on the cross because he was able to take our sins and fully pay for them and satisfy the demands of the law at the cross, and so he took that out of the way.
And certainly we are not obligated to do anything in the law for Mount Sinai to get ourselves ahead of him. Jesus Christ is the only Savior. He fully met the demands of the law, and so when you trust Christ, God sees you as though you had never broken law. He sees you as righteous. In fact, as righteous as God according to the Bible. So Colossians 2 is talking about the ordinances that were written from Mount Sinai. By 19, 5, 17 is talking about the Scriptures, which are also called the Law of the Lord.
I hope that helps, and thank you for that call. Jerry, and I’m glad you’re excited about what was coming, and I’m excited too. Let’s see. You’re going to go to Adrian in Miami, and Adrian, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air and make sure you turn your radio down Adrian because we can hear that radio feeding back Adrian you’re on the air good morning good morning yes sir yeah I wonder if you can explain a little better one save always safe because I think it’s a little confusing I agree with you once they’ve always saved but there should be a but a supposedly He’s not living at the Christian, I think maybe a little explanation.
If you can explain that a little further, not that he lives at his salvation, but perhaps he was never saved. If you could elaborate on that a little bit more just to make this a little clearer. I don’t understand. I do understand. Thank you, Adrian. Thank you, the right. The answer is that when you trust Christ, you’re so forever. But if you’re going to be the link, God will thank you. It says in Hebrews 12, 6, for whom the Lord loves, he chastens or disciplines and he scages every son whom he receives.
So if you become received in the God’s family by the new birth by trusting Christ, then God is going to discipline you when you’re delinquent. He promises to reward you if you’re obedient. So obedience will be rewarded, or degrees of inward in heaven. There are five crowns that the Christian can earn, but the delinquent Christian will be disciplined and maybe even taken home early to be with the Lord. If you read 1 Corinthians 11 verse 30, because of the sin in the life of the Corinthian believers, after they were saved, it says for this cause many of you are made weak, many are sicky, and many of you have died.
So the Lord took some of them home to heaven early, and he goes on to say in verse 32 that when we as believers are judged 1 Corinthians 11 32, we are chastened or disciplined of the word that we should not be condemned with the world. So the world is going to be judged differently and they’ll be cast into hell, but the Christian many sins will be disciplined and will suffer the loss of reward. So as a believer you cannot live as you please and get away with it.
God will thank you. He might even take you home to heaven, sooner than you would planned on going. and I sure hope that helps you with that question, Adrian. And a lot of people are concerned about that, but if you truly say God is going to be all over your case and He will follow you up. You know, when I trust the price… I was just out of high school. I went off to University of Florida. I was a secret believer.
Nobody, nobody, nobody knew that I was a believer. And nobody on University of Florida campus knew that I was a believer. So I was operating undercover. But you know God knew that I was a believer. And that coming year God worked on me and brought me finally to the place about a year after I got there where I’d Nilled in my dorm room and dedicated my life to serve the Lord and I’ve been serving him ever since and you know God Followed me up and he Brought some discipline into my life that brought me to the place where I said well I’m not gonna fight you I’m in the serve you and I chose to live through Christ not to be saved but because I was saved Hope it helps and thank you.
We’re now gonna go to call in Tampa, Florida Call welcome to Bibleline. We have to go to break here and so I hope you will catch call in just a minute when I get back from this break time. So keep your letter tuned exactly where it is. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline and here we are in Tampa Florida. There are studios talking to you. Wherever you might be listening from, and it’s exciting that we can be able to do that. Wow! The technology allows for us to be in one spot and talk to so many, and we’re so glad that you’re able to listen in and that we can have this conversation right now.
And if you have a Bible question, we will definitely try to answer that for you. I remember several people here as of late telling me they had a Bible question. One lady in particular said that she asked her pastor a Bible question. He said submit it in writing and give me eight weeks She said I don’t have any weeks Then she called by the line and had her answer Within a few minutes in that wonderful It’s amazing to me how we’re able to do that and be a blessing I had a my attorney call me from the other side of the state there a bunch of men having a Bible study this morning.
He said, he can pose on you about it. We have a couple questions. So I answered some questions before the video for a Bible study up in another part of the state of Florida. And I thought it was calling me about a legal question that he’s calling me about a Bible question so they could teach the Bible and share the gospel. Isn’t that wonderful? And so that’s what we try to do here on Bible is answer your questions and give you a straight answer right from the Bible.
And If we don’t know the answer, we’ll try to look it up or find it. And same questions just can’t be answered. They’re just not mentioned in the Bible. So we have to wait patiently until we get to be with 11 Heaven, and then he’ll answer those questions in person. We’re going to go to a car. We have a lot of cars sitting away. And that number, by the way, is 1-800-576-3771. one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one so you know do call and pep and uh…
call for you to be patient and hopefully we can answer your question now and uh… talk about your own history I mean, I would speak to that, that we’re born again, and obviously that means that we were born once, which is a reflash, and then the second book is a dispute, that imagine an infant being born, and once he’s born in the flesh, so now I can live my life anywhere I can do it, I know it, and we’re out of any consequences.
And so being born again, born in a respect, is no different than being born in the flesh the first time that we are born in consequences. There are things that if you ever make a lot for instance, and flash, or if you do something when it comes to you, but when we… So, just because we’re born again, doesn’t mean that we have the right to do whatever we want and we’re out in the consequences. So, I just want to know what you thought about that.
that analogy of our behavior for the first month which is the second which is aifier of wish back. Well, I agree 100%. And when you are born again, you become God’s child. But if you’re obedient, God promises the bless you. And we’re encouraged throughout the whole of the scriptures to be obedient as His servants. And He promises to reward us for our faithful favorites. And Jesus, even in the Sermon on the Mount, says, may appear as treasures in heaven not on the earth because obviously he wants us to serve him and live for him and have rewards in heaven because this world is only temporary in whatever things that we earn and build up here are going to be lost.
We can’t take it with us but we can lay up treasures ahead of us in heaven and although Our behavior has nothing to do with our salvation. It does affect our rewards and it does affect what a God will discipline us or not. I was my dad’s child and my mom’s child, whether I was a Union or not? But whether I got an allowance, udebro, I was given special privileges, whether I was allowed to have freedom was dependent upon my obedience as a child.
When I was this being, I was restricted, and I couldn’t go out on the weekend and a lot of things became difficult for me. And that was a part of being raised up and they’re helping to raise me in a proper way. And God does the same thing. And if we’re disobedient, God is going to stank us. Should we thank you, Carl? I agree with you on that, and thank you for that call. We now have Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida, and Matthew, welcome to my one year on the year.
Good morning Hank. I just want to say, when we’re born in the flesh, we’re born in slave-oddlers and not I just want to say that my question is, the verse that speaks about the gospel reaching the four quarters of the world. Is that one of the conditions for the rapture or for… It’s talking really about the gospel of the kingdom, and it’s a condition for the tradition for the Second Coming, not the Rapture. It says in Matthew 24, 14, when this Gospel of the Kingdom is preached in the all the world, then Christ will come back.
And of course the Gospel of the Kingdom is the Good News message of the Kingdom being preached. There have been preached by anybody today that I know of, but the fact that the Mormon is a Taurus and the fact that Christ is the King coming to the set up His reign on the that will be preached during the tribulation period and will be preached in the all the world and then Christ will return. So it’s a sign of the Second Coming.
Okay, so if people are anticipating that that’s a condition for a rapture, they’re really saying that we’re supposed to be preaching the kingdom, but we’re instead preaching the gospel. Amen. Amen. Alright, my second question is what is the difference between a dispensation and a covenant? And I ask the question because I’m trying to get a clear understanding of the difference between dispensational theology and covenant theology. Alright. Well, this sensation is an age or period of time during which man is tested in regard to some specific revelation from God.
And there are seven in the Bible and the Bible doesn’t make any sense unless you see it in that way. And the Bible certainly teaches that there are different ages. You can see that in Ephesians chapter 3 in particular. And there in Ephesians it names three dispensations by name. Ephesians 3. Team talks about the dispensation of grace, which is the age which we’re in that began to pentecost the oil and the rapture. It also mentions that Ephesians 1, 10, and 11, with dispensation in the fullest of time.
That’s the millennium. When the heavens are all over the earth, it describes that. And that is a dispensation in itself. And then there’s the dispensation of law that began at Mount Sinai and was in a repurate calvary. But there’s seven more years to take off the clock for the dispensation of law. And that is what the tribulation period is all about. So there’s a three that I mentioned directly by name, by title. But a covenant is obviously a contract.
And the contract for salvation is the one that is unilateral. God chose to save all the would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. And he makes a covenant with all the would believe that he would save him eternally. and there would be his children forever and ever and ever. And obviously the New Testament is really another word for the New Covenant and the 27 books of the New Testament are refined print of God’s covenant with man that all that would live on Christ would be saved and saved eternally.
Hey man, so, is here my 31 points. Is that just a church age or is that actually… You know, it’s forced for eternity, you know, from the time the Christ died that covenant came into force, it had been promised that it became enforced when Christ shed His blood. That was the blood that ratified the new covenant. You know, Jesus said in the Lord’s Supper, this cup represents my blood, which is the blood of the new covenant. And so the covenants usually in the Bible were ratified by blood.
And Christ, the shit is on blood to make it affect the new covenant. Yeah, okay. Thanks. I got one just one last thing in Psalms 89 verse 30 through 37 could you just comment on that real quick land if that’s a proof text for eternal security? Thank you. All right, I’m gonna I’m going to take a look back there. I don’t know. I’ll hand back to where we’re going to go back there. Psalm 89. And I’m almost there. Psalm 89.
And I’m turning right now. From eighty nine beginning verse thirty one. I believe you said it says here. Verse thirty four says by covenant. Will I not break more off of the thing that goes forth out of my lips? You’re for sure. He’s saying that he’s never going to change his word. he’s going to do exactly what he promised and if you become a believer you have the promise that he’ll never lose you or cast you out but you’re so uh…
eternally we’re not going to go to uh… uh… jim and tampa florida and uh… jim welcome to bible and you’re here jim your I had to put the speaker off. The question I’ve been listening to you, maybe you over a year now and you have talked about over a year now and you have talked about the Bible being, it was written literally and it should be literally, you know. Thank you. Thank you. Um, can we explain to me how literally Matthew 29, Matthew 4, Matthew 5 verse 29 and 30 come into that play.
All right, Matthew chapter 5 and I’m almost there. Matthew 5 verse 20 where it says, And if thy white eye offend thee, put Puck it out and cast it from me for if it is For it is profitable for the for one of my members that they should perish and not your whole body That they should be cast into hell. Well, I think it’s very little I don’t know if you heard my story, but there’s one story related to a lot I had a young man in my church’s parents were wealthy and And he was a young jet-setter and he was then saved.
The dad was very concerned about him because he was ready to take a trip around the world by himself and the dad was concerned about him and making sure he was saved. So he scheduled an appointment with me and the son was a real character. He came into my office and he pointed at his wristwatch and shared with me what time it was on his wristwatch and said, you’ve got one hour, give it your best shot. Well, I explained the gospel to him, and I did everything I could to lead him to Christ, but he wasn’t budging, he wasn’t going anywhere.
And I asked him, I said, what would it take for you to trust the Lord? What would it take to God to get your attention? And he didn’t have an answer. I said, well, what if God were to take away maybe your health? if you left here and got in a car accident and were terribly injured, would that get you attention? Would you believe? You said no, anybody could have a car accident at any time. That wouldn’t mean anything.
So what if we got pretty specific and said that your right leg would be cut off in the accident with that image? He said no, that’s so the possible that that would happen to anybody. Now so what if we got reasplosive? He said exactly four inches below the knee your leg is cut off seven straight off and and I said you know if it’s if that’s what it would take for you to come to know Christ I believe if you agreed with me and we prayed that here today it would happen I said would you let me play that prayer and you said no you wouldn’t want me to play that prayer so we talked and I said that because we just prayed general prayer to work God would do whatever it took in your life to get your attention so you address the load and you said yes.
So he played and he left and I didn’t seem for a long time. He came back to me about a year later. He said, you know, I went on that trip and I said never forget your words. I know more when I got to Africa, the first step on my journey in Kenya and I contracted hepatitis. I wound up in the hospital where nearly died. I was in the hospital for six months. Never got to go on the rest of my trip and they had to fly me back to the States for treatment and I was in the hospital.
I was in the hospital for many months after I got back. But he said, you know, he says I have trusted Christ. That’s my savior. Wow, that was exciting. And you know, not only did you trust the little savior, he became a missionary, and he’s a missionary in South America. It was very gay, and it all came about because God got his attention with that. I was telling him about that passage in the Bible that if you were to lose a foot or an eye or a hand, that would be better, God said, and if you lost your whole body, it would be cast in the hell.
And so, sometimes… What is referring to self-infliction? Huh? And now you’re 29 and 30, what is referring to self-infliction? I don’t think it’s really talking about self-infliction. It’s talking about that if it has to be taken away, it would be better for you to lose that body part to wind up it recognizes you need to come to another word. So we’re not parking literally here though. Here we are. It would be better to take out your eye but I don’t think it’s really meeting for you to go ahead and reach out and grab your own eyeball and pull it out.
I mean literally. Okay. Well whatever you want to tell you. The point is that if you’re completely physically whole and you live out your life and yet go to hell, that doesn’t make any sense. God said it would be better for you to be injured, or hurt, or maimed, and discover the truth and come to know the world below than to be completely whole and wind up with your full body being cast into the lake of fire. Anyway, I hope that helps some of the answers that God is a little meaning there, but he’s talking about it would be better if your eye were fucked out.
I don’t think he saw my e-tuck in your own eyeball up. Alright, we’re going to go to Chris and Turkey Creek and Chris, welcome to Babylon, you’re on the air. Better. I want more on the feet. You do that in your own program and basically the feast goes all the prophetic pictures of the two killings of Christ, the seven-piece phase, the first four, all in the Vatican’s 23, recommend you read that chapter. The first four had to do with the first coming.
Christ died on the Feast of Passover, they were doing the Feast of Unleavened Bed, rose from the God on the Feast of First Prince, and on Pentecost the fourth feast, the whole spirit came and this present age began, the age where God has turned to us Gentiles. The next three feasts are in the fall of the year and they speak about second-coming events. The next feast, the Feast of Travitz, I believe will conclude this age and that’s the rapture.
When the Jewish people survey, they will blow the shofar, the horn, the ram’s horn for the two days and on the last day they finally have a long glory on that horn that they come called the last Trump. The Bina says in first Corinthians 15 that we go up to meet the Lord in the ear on the last Trump. So whatever word happens, perhaps it’s when the rabbis are playing the last Trump. No, no, it is when we go up.
It’s a picture of Christ playing that Trump that we go out on to meet the Lord in the ear. And then the next piece, the The next one is called the Feast of Atonement. It’s a picture of the tribulation period where God will bring the Jewish people through the fires of tribulation and prepare them for their king to come. It’s a time of atonement for Israel and God bringing them and getting them right before he comes back to be their king and their savior.
And then the Feast of Tabernacles is a picture of the whole millennium, a thousand year reign of Christ. And it’s a picture of Christ. Kevin Echling here on the earth in a human body during that thousand year period were close to being willing on the earth. So that’s a brief summary. There are books out that describe each feast in later detail and whatever, but basically you have the outline. And they’re obviously forecasting a picture from the Old Testament of the different major events in the life of Christ and his first coming and his second coming.
So, I have really helps. And thank you, Chris, for that call. We’re now going to go to Ann in the Needin. Ann, welcome to Bible Ann. Ann, we’re… Hello, Ann. Hello. Hi, Ron, you’re… Okay, thank you. And I’m calling about, um, dead by your works in the Book of Revelation, on a 13, Sam 62, 12, and every man should be judged according to his works. And you’re saying that, is it your answer by your works? So I’m wondering what that means.
Well, it’s a good question. And the answer is, if you wind up being judged by your works, you’re gonna go to help. The ones that are judged by your works are assigned a degree of punishment in hell based upon their works. and they’ll be separated from God forever and ever and ever. And if your works are the basis of your plea to inner heaven, you’ll be denied entrance. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 64, 6, that all of our righteousnesses, our righteous acts or deeds, are filthy rags in the sight of God.
So if you were to stand before God and say, look at all these wonderful things that I’ve done. Look at how great I’ve been. I’ve been religious, I’ve read my Bible, I’ve gone to church, I’ve helped my neighbors, I’ve gone all these wonderful things. Christ will say, when he looks at that power of works, it’s a powerful device. It is not deserving of your entering heaven. And so you’ll be denied entrance. You have to have the righteousness of God or Christ to the heaven.
And that comes only by faith in Christ. So I’m going to be judged on the basis of Christ’s death at Calvary and his shed blood. Thank God. But if I were judged on the basis of my works, I’d be cast in the hell right alongside of everybody else that will be judged by their works. So you don’t want that to happen. You want to be judged on the basis of Christ’s death, death, death, and resurrection. And when you put your trust in Christ and save you, that’s exactly what happens.
will then evaluate you based upon Christ and his death and his righteousness that will have been imputed or credited to your account because he took you soon and paid for them. And so don’t wait for that being judged by your works. Be judged by the righteousness and the death penalty of resurrection of Christ. Oh, and I am so these people I’m Christian. No. They’re referring to. Yes. I thought it was Christians and the work that the Christians did after they believed.
No, okay Okay, thank you very much. You’re welcome. We now have Ralph in Lakeland, Florida and Ralph welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air No, don’t say spit out. That’s the part you added but it says you are a liar You know it’s really not saying you’re not saying the same if you say that you love me and you don’t keep this command with your life because of your love lord you will keep his commandments but he’s not saying you’re not saved and so there are Christians who don’t love the lord and Christians that are acting in disobedience and it they’re exposed as not loving the lord you know if you have a Christian who claims that they are living for Christ and this that and the other and you see how they’re violating the bible in their life they don’t love the lord if
If they say they do, they’re a liar and we can know that. That doesn’t mean that they’re not safe. And the result will be, of course, loss of your mood. And they will obviously be chasing or discipline in his life for that. But he’s not going to spit you out. There’s no verse that says he’s spit you out. That’s true. And the moment you trust Christ, God sees you as righteous as righteous as God because Christ paid for every sin you’ve ever recommended in your whole lifetime.
So no matter what sins you’ve committed, Christ paid for them in full and credit you fully with His righteousness. So that’s why you’re eligible in a heaven. And God will not see you from the moment you believe as an adultist or an adult. as a rapist, he will see you as righteous. Look at you here at 2 Corinthians 5, 21, that says, God made Christ to be sin-crest, Christ to move us in, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
God sees the blood of his righteous, in a sardine basis you under heaven, he doesn’t see you as sin. That was paid for at the cross, it’s forgiven, and it says in Hebrews 10, 17, There are sins and iniquities where I remember no more. So they won’t even be brought up. I’m out of time. We have to wind up the program but thanks again for tuning in today. We want you to know that we do need your help. This is September and we don’t have many days left, but we still do need a lot of help financially to get out of this month.
