I go to it often and find out it has exactly what I’m looking for.

Would you maybe consider getting that for your library. In retail for about 140, we have it for a gift of 90. We also have the Jay Vernon McGee commentary. Retail for about 200, we have it for a gift of 105 volumes that cover something on every chapter of the Bible. Between the two of them, you’ll get a pretty good coverage on every chapter and every verse of the Bible. That’s the Jamison Faucet Brown 5-volume commentary. Retail’s for 200. We have it for a gift of 100 to Bibleline.

We also have the Jamison Faucet Brown 3-volume unabridged commentary for a gift of $90 at retail’s for about 140. We also have the Zondervin pictorial Bible dictionary. That’s a wonderful one. I like pictures. I don’t know about you. but we have that available. Plus we have the Zondervin pictorial encyclopedia. And we are letting that go for a hundred and a quarter and it is sending it to retail for I think near $200. That is beautiful. Lots of pictures. That’s what I like.

The Zondervin pictorial Bible dictionary, five huge volumes and that is a wonderful asset to your library. the Zahnervin pictorial Bible dictionary, which is a wonderful asset to have in your library. We’ve got lots of things and we hope you’ll take advantage of what we’ve got, plus the CDs, DVDs of my teachings. We just hear of people all the time. One fellow had a Bible study or has a Bible study in his home. It has grown to the place where he had to build another complete room on his home to house the people coming.

What they do is they take my CDs and play a CD and have discussion and refreshments. It facilitates the whole Bible study. That’s exciting. This is Bible and I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and we’re coming to you out of Tampa, Florida from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church. We’re on the pastor. We’re going to be taking off-air questions and on-air questions. If you have a question, you can call us at 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. You know, the believer has a second nature, a new nature, we call it, which is sinless and not capable of sinning.

And we have an old nature that is sinful, that we’ve inherited from Adam, and these two are in conflict with one another, and it creates a warfare within us as a believer. It says in Galatians 5, 17, for the flesh lusteth against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh. And these are contrary to one to the other so that you cannot do the things that you would. Wow, that sums it up, doesn’t it? The flesh nature, which we have inherited from Adam, the natural birth gives us that flesh nature.

And then we have the spirit nature which occurs when you become born again. And they are in conflict with one another. And the one you choose to serve or obey is the one that wins out. Like the one fellow said, I have two dogs in me. I have a good dog and I have a bad dog. And the one I say sick them two wins. It’s really stated in different ways in the Bible in Ephesians. It’s interesting in chapter 4 of Ephesians, it says here that if you have been sought, if so be that you have heard him and have been taught by him and the truth is in Jesus, you put off concerning the former manor behavior, the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust.

So here it talks about that we like a garment. We would put this one often and not use it or not obey it or not follow it. And that is here the old nature called here the old man, the same as the flesh nature that Galatians 5, 17 just spoke about. And it says here that this old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. This is a corrupt nature that we have inherited from Adam. And then it says here, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, verse 24 of Ephesians 4 says, and that you put on the new man, which after God has created in righteousness and true holiness.

So here we have a nature notice that is created after God in righteousness and true holiness. This is a sinless nature, a perfect nature, one that is not capable of sitting. The Bible says in a sense that we put this coat on, this new nature, and allow it to be the dominant nature in our life. As Galatians says, these are at warfare with one another. The flesh, Galatians 5, 17, lusteth against the Spirit. That’s the flesh nature against the new birth, the Spirit nature.

And the Spirit against the flesh. These are contrary, it says in Galatians 5, 17. The one to the other so that you cannot do the things that you would. We have a conflict all the time where our old nature, for example, you get up on Sunday morning and it’s a rainy day and you have been out late on Saturday and you’re kind of tired and it’s time to get up and go to church on Sunday morning and your old nature says, hey, you deserve a break today.

Why don’t you just stay here and bed and pull that blanket up over your head and curl up and go back to sleep. That’s the old nature. The new nature says, hey, we need to be in church. We need to obey the Word of God. We need to do what God says and we’re not to forsake the assembly of ourselves together as the manner of some is. But we are to obviously. He said, come together with other believers and be spiritually lifted up and encouraged.

And so there’s a battle going on. The old nature wants to stay in bed and the new nature wants to get up and go to church and you have to choose which nature you’re going to follow. And that’s a struggle every Christian has. You know, when you sit down and you want to read the Bible, the new nature says, you know, we need to get into the Bible on a regular basis. At the same time somebody calls up and says, hey, let’s go out and Shop or party or do something else well Obviously the old nature is gonna be appealed to by that and and perhaps You will overrule the new nature that says no you had intended to stay home and read your Bible tonight And it looks like that’s out the window because the flesh nature wins out up.

We have to choose and say no to the old nature, say yes to the new nature. And I think the Christian life has really summed up the answer, the key, the secret to being victorious in the Christian life is in verse 16 of Galatians 5. It says this I say then, walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Notice walk in the spirit, that’s the Spirit nature, walk in obedience to what the new nature would have you to do.

Then it says you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Because the lust of the flesh, the old nature is still there until the day you die. You are not going to get rid of the old nature until death. In the meantime it is always there, but you don’t have to fulfill its lust. You need to obviously walk in the Spirit. You’ll enjoy as a result, the Bible says in verse 22 of Galatians 5, the fruit of the Spirit as your obedient to the spirit nature.

The fruit of the Spirit is love and joy and peace and long suffering and gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law. So the believer, if you want those kinds of things in your life, do you want love in your life, joy in your life, peace in your life, long suffering in your life, gentleness, goodness, faith, meat, and temperance. That comes by yielding to the new nature. I’m Dr. Anglinstroom. This is Bime-Blind. It’s exciting to be with you.

We’re going to be turning to the phone lines now. If you have a call or if you have a question, you can call in and get up on the air with us as we will take callers. We also invite you to leave an off air question if you would like and we’ll be able to answer that question hopefully on the air today as well. And so I hope you’ll give us a call here. The number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We have Catherine in New York calling in and she says, what is the difference between the indwelling and the filling of the Holy Spirit?

Good question. Catherine, and that is the indwelling is where Christ, or the Holy Spirit, comes to indwell your body, it becomes God’s temple, and you are permanently indwalt with this Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God from the moment you believe. Every believer receives the Holy Spirit at the moment of belief. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you are not saved. Romans 8, 9 says, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

So when he comes in and indwells your body, you receive 100% of the Holy Spirit. He doesn’t get divided up and you get half the Holy Spirit or three quarters of the Holy Spirit. You get all the Holy Spirit. But the filling of the Holy Spirit has to do with how much of the Holy Spirit he has, how much control he has over you. And so the filling has to do with, to what degree you yield yourself to obey the Lord and to the degree that you yield yourself to that degree you are controlled or filled with the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 5-18 I think really helps us get a handle on this. It says, be not drunk with wine where it is excess, but be filled with the Holy Spirit. Here we find the filling of the Holy Spirit being contrasted with getting drunk. A person who is drunk is under the influence or under the control of the alcohol. And so the Bible says don’t do that. We’re forbidden to become drunken. But the Bible says, but be controlled or filled with the Holy Spirit.

And that’s a command. And so every believer is to, as we said before, yield to the new nature. And obey the Spirit of God and to that degree that you yield or obey the Holy Spirit to that degree you are filled with the Holy Spirit. So that is dependent upon us. The indwelling is another ballgame. That’s where the Holy Spirit indwells your body forever. And that happens at the moment of belief and the Holy Spirit will never leave you.

Alright, we have a question about tattoos from Sandra in San Notoga Springs and she wants to know about piercing and tattoos. You know, Leviticus 1928 says that you’re not to print any marks on your body. Now if you’ve already got them there, there’s not a whole lot you can do. I guess you could have him removed quite expensive and probably not really that effective to get rid of them altogether. But the Bible says that you’re not to print any marks on your body.

I think apparently God is saying that he made your body and that your body is a believer, especially, becomes his temple. And to draw on it or make marks on it is to put graffiti on God’s house. Can you imagine if somebody came down to your house at night and painted the outside with all kinds of pictures, you’d be irate. You’d have to repaint your house. And God is saying the same thing. Don’t graffiti your body, which is God’s house.

He has purchased you and you belong to him. He doesn’t want you to do that. And so we’re not also to make any cuttings that are flesh, any body piercings. I think that those things are wrong. We’re not going to file this body that God has given to us. That’s Leviticus 1928, looking up for yourself. She says, what about donating blood? Is that piercing? And no, I don’t believe so because it’s not a permanent piercing. The type of piercing we’re talking about is where people have nose rings and ear rings.

And sometimes they put them now in their eyebrows and through their lips and everything else. And those things are where you really make a hole in your tongue or something else. And those kind of piercings I think are the kind that are forbidden. The Bible says in Matthew 22, this is Joyce now calling in from Charlotte Bill, New York. She says in Matthew 22, how did you get in without the wedding clothes? How did they get in and why were they thrown out?

Explain. It’s just a parable of how nobody without a wedding garment will enter into the wedding ceremony. This is talking about the future, it’s talking about the Second Coming of Christ, it’s talking about the Millennium, it’s talking about the Thousand Years will be a Thousand Year celebration of the marriage of Christ to the bride which is the Church, the Body of Believers of this present age from Pentecost to the Rapture and when the Tribulation period is over, those Those that are invited in to celebrate for that thousand years are believers only.

And so the fellow that didn’t have the wedding garment, it’s a picture of the fact that he didn’t have salvation. Only believers are invited in. So basically what we’re saying here is that the rapture, everybody that saved is caught up to meet the Lord in the air and are forever with the Lord. Left behind are all unbelievers. But seven years later, the opposite takes place. All unbelievers are taken and killed and destroyed, and only believers are left to live into the thousand-year earthly reign of Christ.

And so at the end of the tribulation period, the parable here is that this fellow was not an invited guest. And it’s pictured by the fact that he didn’t wear the wedding garment that would legitimize his coming in. speaks of the righteousness of Christ that’s credited to the account of every believer. So Joyce, I hope that helps. And it looks like Joyce leaves another question here from Charlotte. Phil, New York. And Joyce says in Matthew 24, learn from the fig tree.

The fig tree represents Israel. What do you think about this? Well, it’s a beautiful picture of how that Israel has been in disfavor with God for 2000 years. that just before Christ went to the cross, He cursed in Matthew 21, a fig tree and said, let no fruit grow on you for an age. And so Israel was going to become dormant and be set aside for the past 2000 years. But then Jesus says, when the fig tree begins to put forth leaves and sprouts forth branches, that you can know the coming of Christ is near.

We believe we see that happening today. The Jewish people for the first time in two thousand years are back in the land and have become a nation as of May 14th 1948. So we are living in that time when Christ will return and Jesus said this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled. So apparently the generation living today will still be around to see Jesus coming back because we’re living in that generation when Israel is back in their land and become a nation again.

Elaine in the land Florida calls in and she says, why are there so many translations of the Bible such as the NIV, the New King James Bible, the message Bible and so on and so on. Well it’s the publishers and guess what? In order to copyright they have to come up with their own Bible and apparently in order for them to get a copyright they have to change 10% of the Bible. So in other words they have to make enough changes in the Bible to qualify for a copyright and that’s why they’re changing it.

It’s not for your benefit. It’s not for my benefit, it’s not to make the Bible clearer or to be better understood, it’s to make money. So they have to make changes, 10% changes in order to qualify for a copyright on a different form of Bible. And so that’s the problem and that’s where we are going today. It’s all about every publisher wanting to have their own copyright on their own edition of the Bible. And if you notice, and you pick up all these Bibles, you can see each one has a different publisher.

And each one of those has those rights by copyright that nobody else can print that particular edition of the Bible. Then they all buy for the market and try to get as many people to buy their particular Bible saying it’s the best. When obviously, whenever you change 10%, they’re not going to be better, they’re going to be worse. the bottom line on what’s going on today in the commercialism that’s affecting Christianity and our Bible at this very, very hour.

We have Sam in Lakeland, Florida. And Sam, welcome to Bibleline Your Honor. Well, I enjoy your program and everything. I never listened. I don’t give a comment on something. I listened to a lot of people talking about losing their salvation. And they were talking about, in the Old Testament, they were the Lord’s fault men. When women did Rome, they most even though the men were not sinned but God fought the man. So when a Christian gets saved and the devil received the woman, but she only come in to sin when Adam walked in to it and sinned it.

So when a person gets saved, they have a spirit in them, they obey the spirit. And the flesh can still be the seed where he can see it. So the flesh, the God said it’s flesh, the sift is right. So if he didn’t come to redeem the flesh on the spirit, because the flesh, he said it’s flesh that sin should surely die. So the flesh have to die, the spirit when the flesh die, the spirit will be the law when the end of the time.

So therefore his flesh was never redeemed and he saw like the woman in the Old Testament when God departed the man, he took the blame on the woman, gave it to the man. Well Sam, that really sounds good, but you know Roman’s eight tells us that a part of redemption is the redemption of the body. When Christ comes back, it says that the whole earth groans and travails. The first of the first of the spirit says even we are grown with ourselves waiting for the adoption to wit or that is to say the redemption of our body.

In other words, our body has been redeemed as well so we are going to get a new body but that will happen when Jesus returns and our body is also redeemed. Thank you very much Sam and that verses in Romans chapter 8 verse 23 where the Bible talks about the redemption of the body as well as our soul and Spirit if you trusted Christ as your Savior if you haven’t There’s no better time than right now You need to put your trust in Christ and you can do it by just saying Lord.

I am a sinner But right now I put my trust in Jesus Christ, accepting and believing that He is God who came and took on human flesh. I trust that He died and shed His blood to pay my sin dead and fold the cross, was buried and rose again from the dead. The moment you trust Him, God saves you and you become saved forever and ever and ever. Keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. We’re going to come right back after a short break and do the second half hour of Bible L.

If not here, we’ll meet in the air. That’s right. If you’re a believer, we’re all going to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air at the Rapture and I’m going to be giving people high fives everywhere. It’s going to be fun. When we are caught up and wow our future then will be just incredible. What are the things that we haven’t even imagined that we’re going to be able to do in our new bodies, and in our new environment, living in the New Jerusalem, and living in the presence of God.

It’s going to be wonderful. It’s going to be exciting. Nothing like it. Anyway, if you’re a believer, then we’re going to be together forever, and we’ll get to see each other forever. It’s an opportunity for you to be able to catch our radio programs and television programs around the clock.

By the way, we have some wonderful things in our Resource Center. I recommend some of the following series that are on CD. One called the Rapture, one called the Holy Spirit, a series on the spirit world. It’s particularly exciting dealing with Satan’s world and the world of angels and the cherubs and the serubs and what is all there behind the scenes unseen to our naked eye. We have of course on current in-time prophecies, one on parables, one called balancing the Christian life, another on how to lead souls of Christ.

And many, many of them on books of the Bible like Revelation, Daniel, Acts, Jude, Romans, Hebrews, so on. You can call and order them over the phone and we’ll be glad to ship those out to you. Plus our Sunday sermons, you can subscribe and have them sent on a regular basis to your home so you can catch all of the Sunday morning worship services. We have some excellent books in our Resource Center and one of those is called Salvation by Louis Berry Shaver, the founder of Dialosthenological Seminary.

Excellent, excellent book. We have another one called So Great Salvation by Charles Rirey. That is an excellent book that really lays out for you this wonderful foundation that we have in Christ. We have dozens and dozens of other books that you might want to take. A look at including commentaries and my two favorite are in our Resource Center, the Jamison Foset Brown 3-volume Unabridged commentary that covers something on every verse of the Bible. That’s exciting. And we also have the Jay Vernon McGee commentary, 5 volumes, beautifully bound, that covers something on every chapter of the Bible.

If you get the two of them, you’ll be really in great shape. It will give you something on every chapter and on every verse of the Bible. The Jameson Pusset Brown retails for 140, we have it for 90, and the J. Vernon McGee commentary retails for 200, and we are offering it for a gift of 100. And that will also help Bible on a little bit. And I hope you’ll give us a call. Plus the Scofield Bible, which is becoming rare.

really rare where you can hardly get it anymore. It’s not being printed by very many. And so if you want to get a Scofield while they still are available, we have them here in our Resource Center. If you go to the bookstore, you’re going to get the wrong one. I’m almost certain because the old Scofield Bible is not being printed, but by a handful of people. And some Some of those are discontinuing it and that’s a shame. That is the one that’s the best and I would recommend it highly.

Our phone number here at Bible end is 1-800-576-3771. We want to hear from you so give us a call. We’re now going to take another off-air question and in Riverview calls in Riverview, Florida and says during the tribulation period how will people receive salvation? Will it be by mercy, grace, or by some other means? Salvation has always been the same and will continue to be the same. We’re saved by the blood of Jesus. Revelation 1-5 The book that is the final book of the Bible says in Revelation 1-5, unto Him Jesus that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

Always by the blood, always by the blood. I love what the hymn writer wrote when he said, What can wash away my sin? Answer, nothing but the blood, nothing but the blood of Christ. We have Paul in Petersburg, Virginia, and Paul says, Are there prophets or apostles today? Answer is no. Paul says some people today refer to themselves as a prophet or as an apostle. I think I would run from anybody doing that. That is very unscriptural. The gift of prophecy ceased at the end of the first century when the New Testament was completed, according to 1 Corinthians 13, 8 through 10.

And there were only 12 apostles. And of course, Jude is committed suicide and God replaced him with Paul. But otherwise there are no more apostles. One of the conditions of being an apostle was that you would actually have to have been back there and seen Jesus personally. And Paul, of course, said that he had obviously seen the Lord and met that qualification. And he first saw him on the road to Damascus. And Paul became the dynamic apostle to the Gentiles.

But no apostles, no prophets today. If you’re talking to somebody that claims that they are a prophet or an apostle, I think I would get on my roller skates and get away as quick as I could. I’d run. That’s definitely wrong. And I wouldn’t say that whatever they’re going to say to you is equally going to be wrong, generally speaking. We have Simon in Plant City calling in. He says, what does it mean to worship God in spirit and in truth?

Jesus speaks about that in John 424, and he talks about how that when Christ would die and go back to heaven, that it would open up the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in our bodies, and our bodies would be His temple. So wherever our body goes, we can commune with the Lord, worship the Lord in spirit and in truth as he dwells within the believer. Colossians 128 says, the great mystery that was revealed after Christ was rejected is that Christ would be in us the hope of glory.

dwells within the believer and we can worship him anytime day or night. The phone over here at Bible 9, 1-800-576-3771 and we’re gonna talk to Edgar now before we go any further and Edgar He is calling in from Petersburg, Virginia and says, please explain 2 Peter 2 20 and 21. And 2 Peter 2 21 is talking about false prophets. If you’ll notice in verse 20 it says they turn from the Holy Commandment delivered unto them after they had known the way of righteousness which is Christ is the way, but they reject Christ.

And so therefore they are lost and it says the latter end is worse for them than at the beginning because the greater light you reject the worse off you are. And then it goes on to talk about how just like a dog returns to his mom or pig returns to the mud and the wallowing in the mire. So do these actually eventually show their nature because they have not been born again. It says in verse 17, these are the ones to whom the midst of darkness are reserved forever.

These are the ones that are going to hell. These are clouds without water. These are those who claim that they offer the truth, but obviously don’t have the truth. So watch out for false prophets, Edgar, and that’s what Second Peter is about, the whole chapter. Look at verse 1 of chapter 2, we’re all the way down and follow all the personal pronouns there, they, them, and so on. You’ll find if you connect them all together, the whole chapter is talking about false teachers.

people are not safe. Alright we’re now going to go to Benjamin in Clearwater and Benjamin welcome to Bibleline. Good morning. I just want to know some people say some time God told me I got say like that. I don’t know if God present to person or something like that. also well you can do that so he this fellas says god spoke to him directly pamé did the fellas say that god spoke to him directly well you know that i just want to know because of some time that they say that you know those people say uh god told me to do this to go god told me and then the second thing is uh today uh people can have dream from god all right let’s we’ll try to answer all that Benjamin speaking to some people use that phrase, but really he speaks to us through his word.

He’s not talking audibly in an audible voice to you, and if you’re hearing that, I would be suspect as well that something is not quite right here. God uses his word to speak to us, and as we read it, we can say that we heard his instruction and that we are following it. But if you’re looking for an audible voice from God, I haven’t heard it yet. Although I believe God has been directing my life for the many years I’ve dedicated to Him.

But I don’t look for audible voices out of the trees or out of the bushes or out of the sky. I look to find my direction from the Word. The Bible says in the Old Testament, The Lord directs our paths through His Word. So we need to go to the Word to try to find that. So again, thank you Simon from Plant City, calling in about worshiping. Thank you Benjamin for asking that question. And certainly a person who is going to get saved has to either hear the word proclaimed to them by another human being or by reading the Bible directly, but not by some voice out of the sky or so on.

Larry in Richmond, Virginia, it says here his question is off here, Ephesians 4-12 says that there are some prophets and some apostles, but again, at that particular time there still were Larry, prophets and apostles, Paul, who wrote the letter of Ephesians, was still living, so he was an apostle, and at that time John the apostle and other apostles were still living, and of course there were still those who had the gift of prophecy because that didn’t cease until the end of the first century, and so absolutely that is legitimate in Ephesians Good question.

Excellent question, Larry. I’m glad you’re listening and doing some thinking. But that ended at the end of the first century and with the death of all the apostles when they died, nobody else was an apostle anymore. And so obviously that’s false. You know, it’s interesting. The Mormons claim they have a living apostle out there in Salt Lake. Obviously that scares me about them. And of course, we know that Mormon theology is a very good person. is not biblical theology, so it’s no wonder.

And so that’s interesting, isn’t it? We have Jimmy in Chesterfield, Virginia. Please explain the Lord’s Prayer, the phrase, Thy Kingdom Come. Well, you know, this prayer is about the kingdom, the thousand-year reign of Christ, when He will rule on this earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That is, it says, As our Father which art in heaven, how would be thy name thy kingdom come? It is a prayer for the kingdom to be established. Then notice what it says, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Now during the Millennial Kingdom, God’s will will be done on earth just as it is in heaven. The whole earth will be at peace. Nations will not learn war anymore. It’s going to be a wonderful time when Jesus will be visibly ruling the earth from Jerusalem. Jimmy the Lord’s Prayer really isn’t a prayer we should be praying now because the next event on God’s program is not the kingdom but it’s the Rapture. Then seven years will follow which are the last seven years of the Old Testament during which time the Antichrist will rise the power and the Jewish people will be challenged and brought to the place where they will be ready to receive their king when he comes at the second coming and many will and the thousand year rule will be established in Christ will rule the earth from Jerusalem as the capital of the world.

We now have Stephen on the line. Stephen, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Yes, that’s a hank. I listen to you fairly regularly and I’m looking for a interpretation I guess of this and Notwithstanding I know that this is a concept that’s all through scripture from the beginning you know into revelations, but I’m trying to get an answer to why are the wages of sin death Well, that’s the only way that sin can be paid. That’s the penalty you got established from the very beginning and just Genesis 2017 he told Adam and Eve if they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that they would surely die Right, I understand well I understand that and I’m that’s what I’m giving But my poor my thing is is why do you think and I don’t you know don’t see that in scripture?

That there is an explanation. I know that that is something that’s been established by God and that in his sovereignty That is certainly you know What we accept but I’m just wondering in your in your thought process Why do you think that God established that as as the only? Only payment or or so on for for sin you know you follow on saying yes, and I don’t think An understanding of what the word death means in the Bible. It means separation It doesn’t mean annihilation or the cessation of existence A person who is spiritually dead is separated from God, and a person who goes to hell is separated from God forever.

They still live. People in hell will be alive forever and ever and ever, but they’ll be forever separated from God. And that’s what the second death is described in Revelation 20 verse 14. So right now, people that are unsaved are right now spiritually dead. They’re cut off and separated from God, and when they trust Christ, they become born again, and they’re no longer spiritually dead, but they’re spiritually alive, as John 524 says, were passed from death unto life at the moment of belief.

So that concept is, I think, helpful. So basically, God is laying down the rules that He would choose before the foundations of the world to save all of those that would believe on Christ who would bring life to the whole human race that had… He said, actually entered into this world being spiritually dead. The Bible says in Ephesians 2, 1, that the condition of the unsafe person is spiritual death. And so hopefully that helps a little bit. I don’t know that we may not go ahead and answer this satisfied that we get to heaven.

No, I understand that. Let me, let me, if I can, throw in one other. What do you think of the concept that death had to be, death had to be the only way or a unit explanation. It was a little different in separation, but that had to be the way because anything else comes from works. And the only thing that we really have equal in life is our death. That’s exactly right. But it doesn’t say the wages of sin is water baptism.

It doesn’t say the wages of sin is confirmation or church membership or keeping in commandments. None of those things could pay the penalty for sin, only death and of course Christ’s substitute himself in our place and experience death on the cross so that we could live. Good question. Thank you. And I sure thank you for calling in today on Bible. We have Carl down in Sarasota, Florida. Carl, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the Air. Hey, Dr. Good to hear you.

Hey, I got a question about how do you deal with the, like I love listening to preaching all the time and i was in the t b and i’ve heard you got kind of talk about different things about how to look they always looking for money but sometimes the summons of really good but then they always end up like speaking in time to do something and start acting crazy and stuff but uh… what do you do when you you come up uh…

with a good you know in front of a christian you know different belief you know interpret things differently Well I try to win them over to the truth and that’s what Bible is all about is that we hopefully are moving people out of sometimes a state of just not knowing what the Bible has to say to what it does say and then hopefully they’ll have the good judgment to say, whoa I need to get in line with the Bible if I’m going to be a Christian that’s going to be pleasing to the Lord.

I have to walk in agreement with him and agreement with his word is the way I do that. So definitely I try my best to bring people to the truth and bring them to the Bible and make sure that they realize that the authority is not a denomination, not me or any other Bible teacher, but the word of God itself is the authority. It’s God’s own word and that we’re to listen to what God has to say very carefully.

i got specifically it’s like there’s a preacher p.d. j. cut love but uh… he pulled out of the word thing that i could read fifty times and never see it and then that he’ll show it you know give that revelatory light and i love here in that and looking and i look for that but then you know and then you get they start going nuts after a while and some of them go running around the churches with their hands in the air and it’s all kind of craziness Well, you know, God is not the author of confusion, and if you read 1 Timothy, it talks about how God has given us the spirit of peace and of a sound mind.

And when you see craziness, you have to say, is that from God? So those are tip-offs. So when you read your Bible, you can tell who’s got it together and who doesn’t by reading what the Bible says about how the Christian, like even the one that was demon-presented that Christ cast the demons out. When they saw him before he got saved, he was naked and he was acting really crazy and loud and so on. But once he got saved, he was clothed and he was sitting and he was quiet and he was in his right mind.

And so there’s a real contrast there and I think if you just use the Scriptures as your guide, you’re just going to be fine. Thank you, Carl, for calling in we sure appreciate that call we have lu in uh… Tampa florida and lu welcome to buy one year on the air alright quick question doctor hank uh… i know we lose uh… our rewards in heaven for disobedience and sin do what we do we lose crowns as well and be can we get either one of those back okay uh…

you know and i’m not too sure that you lose what you have done but you lose what you could have had if you would continue you know and i think sometimes if uh… In some cases you can lose what you have, but if you have led someone to Christ, I’m sure that crown is going to stay there for you, which is the sole winners crown. And if you are martyred for your faith, obviously you’re not going to lose that crown and you’re going to have it when you get there.

So I think that it’s more that you’re not going to get as much crowns that you could have had and you’ll lose out on that. Is there a difference between rewards and crowns? I mean So crowns are part of the rewards. There are many different rewards, but certainly five crownobyl are some specific areas where we can try to excel and receive those particular crowns or rewards that God has for us. And the reason I asked is because I was talking to another Christian and he says he believed that God has given us this great big test and he kind of made me laugh.

He says, I think God should know that I’m just a C student. So, I’ll check with Dr. Hank and see what he says. All right. Thank you so much, Lou and… And we’re about out of time here. God bless.
