By the way, would you consider giving a special Christmas gift to Bibleline? As we close out the year 2006, we’d like to have all of our bills paid and be able to enter the year 2007 owing no one anything. Wouldn’t that be great? You can help Bibleline. Send us a special Christmas gift if you would. by mail and you can get that address by calling our 800 number or we’ll send an envelope to you with it on it or you can give a gift by credit card over the phone.

But we want to thank you in advance for your prayers and for your gifts and if you could give a special gift at Christmas, that’d be great. You know a lot of people make shopping lists and they put the kids and the nephews and and the uncles and parents and the grandparents on the list. But Jesus generally doesn’t even make the list. You know, it’s his birthday. And what are you planning to give to Jesus? Maybe you can give a special gift to the Bibleline on Christmas to be a Christmas gift to Jesus.

You know, the wise men gave all their gifts to Christ. Did you know that? I don’t remember anything coming out of the saddlebags of those camels that was a gift for Mary or a gift for Joseph. All of the gifts were exclusively given to Jesus. Consider, if you would, giving a special gift to Bibleline and helping us end up this year completely paid up with everybody that Bible I know. And we thank you in advance. By the way, we hope that you’ll come out and visit us if you’re in the Tampa Bay area on our third Sunday, the 17th of December.

We’re having a Christmas worship service at 10.30 in the morning with a wonderful Christmas dinner following. We sure would love to have you be a part of that. So make your plans. On the 24th of Sunday, we’re going to have our morning worship services. We’re canceling the evening service, but we’re going to have a 10 o’clock PM Christmas Eve candlelight service with the Lord’s Supper. It’ll be a precious way to bring in Christmas Day, which will be on a Monday.

So Sunday night at 10 p.m. Come join us for a Christmas Eve candlelighting service. I believe you’ll have a wonderful time. So that’s what’s happening here at Calvary. And Bibleline, of course, is reaching out all over the world. And we are excited about the calls and letters that we get of encouragement from people everywhere that are listening to the Bibleline program. If you have your Bible, get it out. And you might want to take a look with me in a few things.

What is interesting at this time is We have a lot of things about angels. People have angel collections. You go to the mall and they sell angels everywhere. But guess what? They’re not selling angels because everyone, at least that I see and what you see on most people’s tree at Christmas and what you see decorating everything are female. There are no female angels. Did you know that? in the Bible always appear as men. There are no female angels and there are no baby angels because angels don’t have babies.

Did you know the angel population hasn’t changed even by one over the many millions and millions of years and angels have been around? That’s right. There has not been one increase or decrease in the angel population. The population remains the same. God created all the angels at one time. They are innumerable and the count hasn’t changed. They don’t have babies. I have been where I’ve seen statues of baby angels. They’re so cute. They’re chubby, well fed. Have little wings sprouting out of their back.

I’ll never forget even my grandmother carried this myth along as she would touch my back around my shoulders and she’d say, you know, I feel little wings beginning to sprout. Maybe you’re going to be an angel. I’ll never forget my grandmother telling me that. Obviously, that’s totally wrong. But I would reach around and try to feel for those little baby angels wings sprouting out of my back but you know angels don’t have wings that’s right there is no angel in the bible that has wings now some of you are going to get excited and you’re going to say I know I’ve read somewhere well you may have read about the cherubim and the seraphim which are specially created beings very very very limited in number and those Those are not the traditional angels that we talk about.

The general angel, there are millions and millions and millions of them, don’t have wings. Whenever they appear, they always appear in the male sex. It always appears men and they don’t have wings. In fact, they’re mistaken for men. So they don’t loathe, they don’t have halos, they don’t have wings. You know when the two angels walked into Sodom, if you read Genesis chapter 19, to destroy the city, all the men of the city, the Bible says, turned out, and they lusted after these angels which they thought were men.

They had had great big flopping wings. They wouldn’t have had that impression. But apparently angels appear as very handsome men and were were attractive to the men of Sodom, and they came up to forcibly take them and rape them as they entered into the city of Sodom. So angels were mistaken for men. Little did they realize that these two men, which were really angels, were going to kill them all. The next day they would rain down fire and brimstone upon Sodom and Gomorrah and all all those cities of the plain where sodomy was practiced everywhere and they would be killed, they would be destroyed.

By the way, Jesus made a reference to that in the Gospels. He said, as it was in the days of Lot, Lot lived in Sodom. He says, so shall it be in the days of becoming the Son of Man. Obviously, there is an explosion around the world of homosexuality. And how that God would judge them and how that Christ when He comes back would destroy all unbelievers. And obviously bring judgment upon sodomy and these things that are happening in our world today.

We’re living, I think, close. This thing has really exploded in our faces, hasn’t it? And Jesus isn’t that amazing? He’s God. And obviously as God, He knows the future. who would have ever predicted that in this time when Israel goes back to the land, it becomes a nation again that the world would be filled with homosexuality. Boy did he nail it on the head. What an incredible prophecy Jesus gave when he said it would be again as it was in the days of love.

One of the interesting things that I found in my studies is that I cannot find anywhere in the Bible where an angel ever sang anything. Now that may not be a major point and it won’t affect whether you’re going to heaven or not. But you know, there is no such thing as angels singing at least according to the scripture. And here we are at Christmas time and almost every Christmas hymn has angels singing. Now the point I’m making here is that hymns are not inspired, only the word of God is.

So therefore we have to take a look at everything through the lenses of the Bible. And when we do, we realize hymns are wrong and the scripture is right. And you know every time somebody says, well what about those angels that appeared to the shepherds the night when Christ was born? I believe that they were a huge course singing to the shepherds. Well, let’s take a look and look to eleven. Rather, Luke 2, 13 it says, and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host.

These are angels praising God and notice it says saying, saying, not singing, saying, not singing, saying, glory to God in the highest, on earth, peace, good will toward men. Can you imagine millions and millions of angels, perhaps, all saying together in male voices, glory to God in the highest, on earth, peace, good will toward men? Wow, it would have been incredible to hear all these voices of male angels. Speaking together in unison, these wonderful words that we read here in Luke’s Gospel chapter 2 verse 13, but not a reference to them singing and you’ll never find a reference anywhere.

I wouldn’t even bring this up if it weren’t for the fact that you know all of us think sometimes that we’re familiar with the Bible stories, that we’re familiar with the Christmas story and we never even crack our Bible open to take a look and see if we’ve got it And if you do, you find out, oops, I’ve had it wrong. And angels are not females, angels are not babies. Angels don’t sing, angels don’t have wings, angels don’t have halos.

Obviously so many things we’ve been misled to believe, and it didn’t come from your Bible. Now, the point is, maybe, maybe, you’ve taken for granted that you have salvation right, and maybe even taught wrong as I was the first 18 years of my life as I was raised in church and Maybe you need to go take a fresh look and see if you got salvation right because that will make a difference Between when you go to heaven or hell If you don’t have salvation right you don’t go to heaven And the Bible tells us there’s only one condition to be met to be saved and that is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and I’ll shall be saved the word believe means to trust when you trust that Jesus died and shed his blood was buried And rose again from the dead God saved you

Now I know some of the modern translations Do whatever the readers want to read and they put the word sing in the Bible that angels sing? But there’s nothing in the Greek in which the New Testament was written to ever hint that angels ever sang anything and you will not find that in the King James. But if you’re reading one of these new fangled translations which I believe delete, distort and pervert. The word of God. Then you probably, because you have a flawed translation, might be able to find a verse that says that angels sing.

But that’s those translators who don’t really care about accuracy. They want to sell Bibles. And it’ll maybe say that in your Bible. But if you check it out from the Greek, and if you check it out in the King James, you’ll never find a verse anywhere. It never says that angels sings anything. Not a big point. But let me tell you, if you don’t have your salvation right, you’ll not make heaven. You don’t want to be airing E-R-R-I-N-G in the area of your salvation.

That might mean an eternity in hell because you assumed that you had it right. I’m Dr. Englunds from the This is Bibleline. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have people calling in and we have all fair questions. We’d love to hear from you. The phone number is 1-800-5-7. 5763771, 1-800-576-3771. We have Ken, he’s calling in from Plano, Texas. Plano, Texas. And Ken says, are the angels in Jude 1, 6 the same as the sons of God in Genesis 6, 2?

If not, who are the angels in Jude? Well, the answer is they’re not angels at all in Genesis 6-2, so scratch that. How do I know? Well first up, we know that in Hebrews 1-5, God said He never called an angel His son. That’s right. God never called an angel His son. So if you read a passage about the Son of God or Sons of God, we’re not talking about angels because God never called an angel his son. So it’s not angels.

Well who are the sons of God in Genesis 6-2 and we know it’s believers. We know that that is a phrase used throughout the Bible for those who become born again, those who become saved. In John 1, 12, it says to as many as received him at his Christ, to them God give authority for them to become the sons of God, to those that believe on his name, which were born of God. To be born of God, to be born again, you must trust Christ and then you become the son of God.

So these were believers marrying unbelievers in Genesis 6. Angels are not even present there. Well, angels in Jude are the ones that lived on this original earth under Lucifer’s authority as Lucifer who became Satan was in charge of his planet. Well, we find in Jude it tells us that these angels left their first piece of real estate, which was the earth and they tried to overthrow heaven and And if you read the verse, it’s an interesting verse. It’s the book just before the book of Revelation.

Jude is only one chapter long, so you can easily scoot right by it without even trying. But it says here, and the angels which kept not their first estate, the first piece of real estate that God gave angels was the planet earth. They lived here on the earth prior to Genesis 1-2. And all of the angels lived here on the earth, but a third of them left, it says here, their own habitation. They left the place that God had given them to dwell.

And they tried to overthrow heaven. They were cast back down to the earth. The earth was judged and became void without form and perhaps remained lifeless. Four millions and millions of years till maybe six thousand years ago, the Spirit of God moved. The word move means to incubate. It talks about brooding upon. It’s translated that way other places in the Old Testament, that word move means that God apparently warmed up the earth, thought it out, got it ready for life again, and in seven days recreated life on the planet.

So can there are not angels in Genesis 6? So forget that. But the angels in Jude are the fallen angels, one third of all the angels of God that followed Satan in this rebellion to go to heaven and overthrow it. They left earth where they were living. Their first piece of real estate, they left their habitation hopefully to overthrow God and have a new residence. Good morning Dr. Lindstrom. I’m the music and the day’s searches. A lot of plays are hands saw, are saying.

I have a question on the music and the day’s searches. It was a lot of plays or hymns saw or sang. Hi, I’m Ryan Pinskola. What is interesting today? I call this new praise and worship music 7-11. What do I mean by calling it? calling it 711. Well, there are seven phrases repeated 11 times. And that’s about it. I mean, it’s not really very deep. It’s not real where you’re going to learn. I love the hymns because they have great spiritual messages.

Wow. Think about some of them. I love a mighty fortress is our God. Martin Luther the Reformer wrote that under a time of great persecution against those who stood up for the gospel and said they were saved by faith alone in Christ alone that they did not need the Roman Catholic Church to get them to heaven. And so great persecution rained down upon Christians from the Catholic Church that really caused hundreds of thousands of Christians to be burned at the stake and to be killed and murdered and tortured because they simply said they trusted Christ alone to get to heaven.

You know in the council of Trent in 1554 over a hundred anathemas were pronounced and one of those was said that you were cursed and worthy of death if you simply said that you You were trusting Christ and not the Church, the Roman Catholic Church, to save you. You know why the early settlers came to America, don’t you? It was like rats fleeing on sinking ship. They were fleeing Europe, and you know, they always tell us for religious freedom.

Freedom from what? Freedom from the tyranny of the Roman Catholic Church that was killing and torturing those who said that they were saved by faith without the Church by only trusting Christ. And so they wanted to get out of Europe and they fled to America. And if you read the constitutions of the 13 original colonies, every one of them said that they had come here so they could have the freedom to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ without persecution.

Isn’t that wonderful? That’s really what this country was founded on. who fled so they could have the freedom to talk about Jesus. What has happened to our country? We truly have departed from that. But you know what is interesting today is that this is what is taking over the worship services today. If you read the book of Acts, the early church, it says they came together, they continued steadfastly it actually says in Luke in rather in Acts chapter 2 and says it continued steadfastly and the number one thing that continues steadfastly in was not praise and worship but it says the Apostles doctrine which is the word of God and then if you read down the list of the things that they continued steadfastly in which was fellowship breaking of bread prayers and witnessing there’s no mention of praise and worship at all nothing nothing this is a new

development. And you know, today there is an unauthorized position in most churches, and that is a worship leader. There is no such thing in the Bible as a worship leader. There were pastors, elders, deacons, but where are the worship leaders? There’s no authorization for any such person, and yet today they have more time before the audience more than the preacher and they really have a more elevated position. I personally believe the first worship leader in the Bible was Aaron.

If you read the story back there in Exodus Moses went up into the mountain and so the people gravitated to Aaron and they said, you know, make us a God. And so the worship leader led them into adultery. And then it says they had music and they rose up to play. And when Moses came down, he was furious and threw the tablets on the ground and broke them. And of course, God judged that nation because they had departed away from him and gone toward idol worship.

The first praise and worship leader was Aaron. And I think that’s the path that they’ve been going ever since, that they don’t lead us Closer! I’m a little bit afraid about where this whole thing is taking us. It was from the time of the Reformation that the Word of God was the most important thing in the church. Now it’s the least important. Nobody cares the Bible anymore in many churches. You don’t need one. But yet if you read Acts 2, what made the early church dynamic?

It came together. They stayed in the church. It was the first time I was in the church. steadfastly continued, number one at the top of the list was the apostle’s doctrine. That’s gone today. Very few people come for that being the number one reason why they’re in church. They don’t come for that reason anymore and we have shifted away and therefore the Bible says they would not endure sound doctrine in the last days, but after their own lust in order to have their ears tickled, they would heat to themselves teachers, they’d turn away their ears from the truth and we turn unto fables or lies.

Thanks for that call from Pensacola and we have a number of callers here. We’re going to have to hold them through the break because we’ve already finished the first half of Bibleline. Again, we’re leaving for Israel March 12th of Monday, coming back on March 23rd of Friday. Love to have you with me. Tip number 14, what a learning experience it is because it’s like a year of Bible college, it’s a crashed course on the scriptures as you actually are there where it happened as we studied the word.

If you want to go, give me a call. This is Bible Adam, Dr. Engvens, and we’re going to take a break. We’ll come right back and we’ll do Bible in part two. So don’t change that now. I’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. It’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund Stremen. This is Bible and is excited to be with you. What a wonderful season this is. Christmas and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday. Great time to evangelize. Great time to reach your family with a Gospel of Christ. We have lots of tools here in our Resource Center to actually effectively help you lead your family members to Christ. If a family member were to die, would they go to heaven? If you’re not assured of that, you need to target them and make sure they get saved. We have tracks that actually work, that actually lead people to Christ.

One of them is called, am I going to heaven? Actually works. Sometimes all by itself, you give it to a person and if they read it, they get saved. It’s so clear. Right on the money. I’ve never seen a track like it. I don’t think there’s a track better than this track that we use called, am I going to We have a lot of verses quoted there highlighted. You can just leave it with a person and they have everything they need to know in that track to lead them to a saving knowledge of Christ.

No better track on the planet. Dr. Leant Sound. We also have a CD called How Permanent is Your Salvation. Never seen anything like it. God has blessed this CD. We’ve seen thousands get saved by this CD. routinely get them and give them to lost people are targeting to win the Christ. I hear stories all the time. One was of a fellow. He was given the CDs a trucker. Driving from California back to the Florida area, he’s out in the middle of the country somewhere in Texas.

He’s reaching over to change stations because they were fading in and out you know as you travel from one area to He hit the wrong button and started the CD that he had put in there, which was the CD we’re talking about, how permanent is your salvation. At the end of the CD, he got saved. He called the friend here in Tampa, and had given him that CD and said, guess what? I just, and he told the story. Listen to that CD, and I just got saved.

Wow, that was rejoicing. That person called me and said, guess what? That CD led my friend to Christ and he was halfway across the country when he heard it and got saved. Some of these things will help you. All our operators will be good to tell you how you can get some of these tools. Also, would you consider giving a special Christmas gift to Byline? It will help us clear out all of our bills from 2006 and start fresh in 2007 and your generous gift would be very helpful at this time.

I want to thank you in advance and you can do that by credit card over the phone or call and get us to send you a non-glop. But thank you in advance for giving and praying for Bible. We’re about ready to do the second half. So stay tuned. We’re going to come right back with Bible and 2 in just about one second.

Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back for that break. If you’d like to call us here, Bible, and you can now set 1-800-576-3771, and we are ready to take your call or your question today. Again, Merry Christmas. We’re in the wonderful season. I love Christmas time. Great chance to witness. You know, people are more apt to receive your track or your accept your invitation to attend church or listen to you tell about Jesus at this time of year more than any other.

That’s why this is a great time to evangelize. We have lots of tools here in our Bible and Resource Center. We’re open every day till about 4.30 in the afternoon. You can either come by if you’re in the area or you can go to our bookstore on the Internet and there we have pictures and descriptions and you can order right there from wherever you might be listening to Bible and we have tracks and Bibles and Bibles. books and things and gifts that you can give for Christmas and it’ll help Bibleline as well.

We also want you to know that we’re leaving for Israel March 12th coming back on March 23rd. That’s leaving on Monday coming back on Friday. Twelve days in Israel. It’s equivalent to a year’s Bible education. I’ll tell you I’ve been 14 times or this will be treatment for 14. We’re going to be baptizing in the Jordan River. We’re going to be observing the Lord’s Supper right next to the hill of Calvary. We’re going to walk where Jesus walked and experience the Bible right where the story is transpired.

It is incredible. I can’t describe it to you, but you’ll come home and visualize the Bible. When you read about Jerusalem or Bethlehem or Nazareth, you’ll see it in your mind. That’s right. Wow. And your geography will come clear and you’ll have a concept of the size and the beauty of the country of Israel, this place that we call God’s Land. Well, I hope you’ll go with me. Give us a call. We’ll send you the literature or you can pull it off the website by going to Bible Eye News on the homepage and you’ll be able to get it.

By the way, we’re streaming now our Sunday morning message from Calvary, the church where I’m Pastor. If you go on the Internet on Sunday morning about 11 o’clock, click on the camera on the home page and you’ll see some fluffy clouds going by and you’ll hear the old rugged cross. And when I start the message, the audio and visual video will come up and it’s really great quality. We’re sending out a lot of signals so that you can get a big screen monitor.

You can fill it up with a really sharp, clear picture and listen to the morning message. We have people from California to New York that are watching now on Sunday mornings, the morning message and you can catch them later in our archive. We also want to thank all of you who prayed for and give to Bible. I know the ones who keep this program on the air. Would you consider giving a special Christmas gift to Bibleline? You know a lot of people make their shopping list up and they list their kids, their grandkids, and their ancine, uncles, and nieces, and nephews.

It seems like Jesus doesn’t even make the list. You know it is his birthday. Did you know that? And sometimes he’s left out of his own birthday. Have you thought about giving to Christ? to maybe giving a gift to Bibleline as a way of giving to Christ. We want to thank in advance. Think about that. You can send it by mail. You can call and we’ll be glad to send you a novel with the address on it or recite it for you.

You can also give that gift by credit card over the phone. And we’re not really trying to get your money. We want to be able to continue Bibleline and let it be a blessing to you. In order to carry that mission out, it requires a real partnership between our listeners and us because we’re the voice that you all are the ones who support the program and we’re totally dependent upon you, our listener. Consider it. Give a gift to Bibleline here at Christmas and I want to thank you in advance for your your prayers and for your gifts to Bible.

And hopefully you’ll give a special gift here at Christmas time. Hi, I was wanting, if you could explain to me what the 7th date means, which I thought it was Saturday and we should honor the date to grab that date. Alright, paint that a little bit more. Absolutely, sure. The 7th day is Saturday. And I’m going to show you what the 7th date is. paint that a little bit more absolutely sure the seventh day is saturday and it is called the sabbath and according to bible it was uh…

given to israel as a sign uh… of god’s relationship with israel it was never really given to the gentiles and it was a part of the ten commandments that thou shalt keep the sabbath but you know when jesus died on the cross of calvary Let me share with you what it says in Colossians chapter 2. It says in verse 14 of Colossians 2, it says Christ blotting out the handwriting of laws or ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, try upping Over them, in it, and now verse 16 is the verse in Colossians 2, George, write it down, let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath, which are shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ. You know, the Sabbath was a picture, I believe, of the millennium, But Peter gives us a hint in 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 8 that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day.

And when you read the context he’s talking about the creation and the creative week that apparently those six days represented 6,000 years of human history and the seventh day represented a seventh thousand years which we call the millennium. Now from Adam to Christ was only 4000 years, that was 4 days. From Christ first coming now to his second coming is 2 more days and that will be a total of 6 days. So we are almost right there. And the Sabbath pictured a day called the Day of the Lord and obviously the Lord rested on the seventh day.

The whole earth will be at rest during that 1000 years, that seventh day. And so we are no longer under the law. We are not obligated to keep the Sabbath on Saturday. But Jesus established the worship day now for us in this age as Sunday. Christ came back from the dead on the first day of the week. His next major appearance you read in John chapter 20 was on the eighth day. That was the next Sunday. We know that Pentecost, when this urge began, this age began, was a Sunday.

50 days after the resurrection Christ came back from the dead on a Sunday, 50 days later is 7 weeks later plus one day makes another Sunday. You read through the book of Acts and you read through the epistles of Paul. The early church met on Sunday, not on the Sabbath. So the Sabbath is still observed by Jewish people, but we who have trusted Christ to memorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ again from the dead every time we worship on Sunday.

I hope that helps George. Oh he does. He does. Alright, thank you very much. Very welcome. Thank you for listening from… or land i think you off their tom in tampa four to calls in and says where the israelites that came out of egypt saved and i believe the answer is yes and they had believed in the Passover Lamb, a picture of Christ. It says in 1 Corinthians 5, 7, for even Christ, our Passover is sacrificed for us. But let me give you a passage of Scripture that maybe would help you.

It’s 1 Corinthians 10 in verse 1, Tom. It says, more overbreather. And I would not that you should be ignorant how that all our fathers, all our fathers, were under the cloud and all passed through the Red Sea. And all were baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and did eat of that same spiritual meat. Verse 4, look at this one, Tom in Tampa, and did all drink the same spiritual drink for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was Christ.

Wow. So here it talks about all, all, all, all. how many times the word all occurs so apparently they all were saved on that is the mean that they were all He was dedicated in living for Christ at Sesemers 5, but with many of them, God was not well pleased. And they were overthrown in the wilderness. So God disciplined the liquid believers. And apparently many of them were overthrown and died physical death. But yet I believe they were a redeemed people saved out of Egypt by the blood of the Passover Lamb.

to go down to uh… robert in tanta robert welcome to by one year on the air morning uh… fine thank you good i just want some clarification on revelations uh… twenty seven what chapter i think it’s uh… i’m sorry yet excuse me uh… i’m not sure it’s twenty seven all right about twenty one twenty seven it says there should not enter into heaven not even a lie Is that the one you’re thinking about? About the thousand years. Okay, well the thousand years is in chapterinvoke 20.

So there it talks about six times the length of Christ’s rule on the earth will be a thousand years, a thousand years king of it. What is the question? I was just concerned about the thousand years and… Sure, okay. When Christ comes back, he’s going to bring peace on earth good will toward men. What was announced at the first coming was postponed because Christ was rejected and peace has been withdrawn from the earth and the Bible said it would be nothing but wars ever since he would leave and so that’s been true and look at the news today.

Obviously we see war stories every day in the headlines but when Christ comes back at the end of the tribulation period seven years after the rapture he will bring peace to the whole earth. The Bible says he’ll bring peace first to Jerusalem And in Isaiah the Prophet says peace will flow like a river to the ends of the earth. So the whole earth will come to be at peace. The curse will be lifted and the deserts will blossom like a rose.

The earth is going to be a wonderful place. The Bible says in Isaiah chapter 2 that the nations will learn war no more, that Christ will rebuke the nations and they will convert all their weapons of war. There’ll be a total disarmament into implements for the benefit of mankind and so it’s gonna be a great time and we’re gonna come back with Christ and rule and reign with him During that thousand years. So it’s a beautiful day ahead and it’s a thousand year day called the day of the Lord It’s a thousand years in length and Revelation 20 tells us six times.

It’s a thousand years long Right very good then. Thank you so much. You’re very welcome Robert and that was Robert in Tampa, Florida calling in We have now Vinny in Hudson, Florida. Vinny, welcome to Bible En. Good morning, Dr. Rinsstrom. How you doing? Good. I would like to make a comment to the listeners and then I have a quick question. You hit the And then I’ll run on the head this morning in your epilogue, your opening statement about the, where is this country gone?

He’s been on and I see that evidence in what just happened up in Minnesota. Congressman was just elected. He’s the first Muslim to be elected to the Congress. Congress, and he wants to take his oath of office using the Quran, not the Bible. So we’ve really come a long way from the founding fathers. Absolutely. And we have people there in the radical Muslims wanting to kill everybody else’s not Muslim. Isn’t that wonderful? Yes, and for the listeners, the movie, that what they want to do, and it’s an eye-opener.

When you see hundreds of thousands of people chanting death to America, and people need to go there and check it out and see what they want. Absolutely right. You know, when we talk about the radical Islam being a minority group, it’s about 15 percent, 10 to 15 percent of the total number of Muslims. But you know that outnumber is the whole population of the United States. We’re talking about probably three, four hundred million radical Muslims that want to kill us.

That’s a lot of people to deal with and obviously we’re living in a scary time. I think as Netanyahu said on an interview just a week or so ago that we’re three to five years out from Armageddon according to what is happening there in the Middle at least with Iran and the nuclear bomb and so on, that is scary. And we have people that… In our leadership that one destroy Israel and destroyed the West. Vinnie, thank you for that call from Hudson, Florida.

And we have some more off air questions. We have Peter in Lansing, Michigan. Just calls in and he leaves this question. If you can lose your salvation, what does departing from the faith mean? Well, the faith is a phrase used 43 times in the New Testament, the faith. It really talks about the body of truth is contained in the New Testament. And so there are people today that know very little about their Bible. In fact, if you were to ask the average church member to quote five verses of scripture, I doubt if you could find many that could quote five verses of scripture.

I personally have memorized thousands of verses from Scripture. That’s what makes it possible for me to do what I do. I used to use three by five cards and I had a stack of nearly 5,000. I would take a handful every day and review them and I went about my business during the day until I had 5,000 down where I could tell you and quote them exactly perfectly. When 5,000 is not the limit of my goal, but I think we ought to memorize as much scripture as we possibly can.

And when you depart away from the Bible, it’s because you’re not reading it often. If you keep your Bible zipped up, you are not allowing God to talk to you. You know the way that God speaks to us is through the Bible. the way we talk to God is through prayer. If you keep your Bible on the shelf or zipped up, you are not allowing God to speak to you. Departing from the faith means you are not listening. You are not allowing God to speak to you.

You need to be in the Bible daily. Jesus said, Matthew 4-4, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. We have Betty in Tampa and Betty welcome to Bibleline you are on Good morning Pastor Hank. I’ve been studying the book of Revelation and I keep getting stumped on chapter 8 verse 1. I cannot find an answer as to why the Bible says when he opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

I heard somebody tease, now you’re not going to get too mad but they said that’s because there’s no women in heaven that there’ll be silence. I’m teasing you of course. I think the real answer is that this is like the lull before the storm, that there’s a period of silence and then all of a sudden this tribulation period will come suddenly on the whole earth and there’ll be no escaping it. If you compare that with 1st Sussolian chapter 5, it talks about how that the believer escapes it, we’re going to be raptured out, but the unbeliever will be caught off guard as a thief comes and doesn’t call in advance and say, I’m coming over to rob your house tonight at 10 o’clock, be ready.

They won’t be ready and it will come upon them as a sudden destruction from the Lord. So I think that there’s a moment of or a period of quietness and then all of a sudden boom, this thing hits the world by storm and they’ll be caught by surprise. As we’ve been reading through the seals and then we start with the trumpets, the three woes come in. Are they expecting because they already know what’s going to happen on this earth and that’s why they’re saying, woe, woe, woe?

Well the three woes are the last three trumpet judgments. You’ll find that as you read chapter 8 here, it tells us, it says, in verse 13, whoa, whoa, whoa, which is W-O-E, judgment, judgment, judgment to the heavens and the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels which are yet to sound. So the last three trumpets are the three woe judgments. Okay. All right. Now there’s pan-phetical chapters I’m reading from the school field.

But there are some identical chapters. Are these overflowing each other? I mean, another one. I think the book translation is like a going back over and over and over again. I believe the key is that if you notice carefully the sixth seal, the sixth trumpet you The sixth bold judgment is all the same event. It’s Armageddon. The seventh seal, the seventh trumpet, and the seventh bowl is actually the return of Christ at the Second Coming. So then you back up and these are like overlays where you put them on top of one another and you give a positive picture of all the different judgments taking place during the tribulation period.

I believe the seals span the entire seven years, but I don’t think the trumpets take place until the second half or the last three or nine years. And then I believe the bold judgments are those intense judgments that perhaps occur in the last year or maybe the last six months of the tribulation period. Okay, very good. Thank you so much. I thank you for your explanation. Thank you, Betty. We have 12 hours of teaching on Revelation, a series on CD that I taught that people love.

I can’t tell you how many Bible studies have been conducted using my CDs as the teaching material and people have just loved them. We’re going to Kyle in Sarasota, Florida and Kyle. Welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Air Kyle. Hey, Dr. Hey, I guess I have a quick question. You said, I taught you saying one time that a third of the population is going to get killed and you said like 20 billion or something. But you know, two billion is a third of six million, six billion is a little population.

So a third would be at least two billion people die. And that’s in Revelation chapter nine, by the way. And it says that at the sixth trumpet that it says to slay a third part of men. So I take it a third of the world’s population will be killed in that event. And you said in an hour also. Chapter 18 three times it mentions armageddon will be over in one hour. If it’s nuclear you can see how that can happen because we can strike Russia in 30 minutes with our intercontinental ballistic missiles.

They can hit us in 30 minutes. They can hit Europe in 10 minutes. And so if everybody released their missiles all at one time, all of the exchange could be over within an hour. And Armageddon would be over that quick. Boom, boom, boom. He said that with Revelation chapter 18. Chapter 18, three times, it mentions that it’s over in one hour. Let me see. It says here in verse 10 in one hour. It says in verse 17 in one hour, so great riches come to not.

In verse 19 in the last phrase it says in one hour this desolation occurs. And so that’s you know we used to think of wars taking years like World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and so on. But this is the and of Of course we were amazed when Israel had their 60 war, but this is a war that is global that takes a third of the lives of all the people on the planet over one hour. We don’t laugh because we know that now we have the capability of doing that.

That’s amazing. You said Netanyahu said three to five years. I don’t think he’s off on that. He doesn’t know the Bible chronology, but basically he’s saying that Iran is going to have the nuclear bomb between three to five years, which means that’s going to set it all off. No, I don’t think it’s the actual battle of Armageddon because it has to happen seven years after we leave at the Rapture at the end of the tribulation period. So I would say if the Rapture happened today would be seven years from now, but then Yahoo is really talking about that we’re headed toward Armageddon.

And once I ran has it look out we’re on a collision path with the battle of Armageddon. Hunter NFT waiting for the stadium but he was referring to Iran. Oh, yeah, right. He’s referring to that madman It’s in charge of the ones to destroy Israel and the West and if he gets the nuclear bomb look out. He’s gonna use it Yeah, he thinks you’ve got a mission. Yeah, I’m good. Yeah, he does alright, thanks doc. Alright and Again, you know the Muslims Because there you have the wrong belief system have never really brought anything to the table They don’t have any significant scientific breakthroughs or accomplishments or anything else.

And so the only thing they can do to prove that they’re supposedly superior is to kill everybody that doesn’t believe like they do. So think of it. It’s really the most scientific advancements have happened where the Bible has been and Christianity is flourished. This is really where God has blessed and the Islam really hasn’t given us any thing in the way of a major scientific contribution at all. And so I believe that in order to prove themselves the best, the only thing you can do is wipe out the competition so they want to kill everybody else.

Of course that’s what the Quran instructs them to do. We have some more offer questions. We’re going to try to catch some of these here. We just had Peter in Lansing, Michigan. I hope that answered your question. You can’t lose your salvation, Peter. John 637, Christ that he would never cast out anyone that comes to him. Even better, John 639, he says he would not lose one. Not one person who’s ever trusted Christ, whatever he lost. We have Phil in Largo, Florida.

in Largo, Florida. He says, when Christ died and before he rose, where was his soul? And the answer is in the heart of the earth in paradise. He said of Matthew 1240, right this downfill. He’d be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. In Luke 23, 43, he tells the dying thief that believed, today thou shalt be with me in paradise. So we knew He went to the heart of the earth and therefore we now learn also paradise was in the heart of the earth and so his soul was in paradise.

On the third day he went back into the tomb and resurrected that physical body and so his soul was in paradise very in the three days and three nights. Second question by Phil is water baptism in the Old Testament. Good to go. Keep looking at Bibleline makes it possible for this ministry to continue in your area.
