Again, I’m Dr. Ankeren Glenschring. This is Bible I. Our phone number here is 1-800. 5763771, 1-800-5763771. We invite you to give us a call. We have lots of offer questions today. We’ll try to give those as quickly as we possibly can and also we’ll take the live questions.

Today I want to make a mention about people have told me that they have, when you ask them how they got saved, they said that they invited Christ into their heart and my response is Well, if you’re saved, it will not save because you invited Christ in your heart. You’re saved because you trusted Christ as your Savior. You know, it says in John 647, barely, barely, I say unto you, he didn’t believe it. I mean, I was born to say, if you’re Savior, it will not save you because you invited Christ in your heart.

You rest your weight upon. And when you put your trust in Christ, the Greek word is postuo, P-I-S-T-E-U-O. and it means to trust or laugh on to put your confidence in. When you trust Christ that he died and shed his blood was buried in rose again from the dead, God saves you. That’s the Gospel message. Paul tells us in Romans 1 16, I’m not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believe it.

So when you believe or trust in Christ as the one who died in your place and shed his blood was buried in Rosalgh infront of that, God saves you. And we’re not saved by inviting Christ into our hearts. So it’s amazing though how people will say, well, that’s the way I got saved. Well, guess what? No one, no one, no one has ever been saved by inviting Christ into their heart. Let me say it again, no one, no one, no one has ever been saved by being Christ into their heart.

That’s not the plan of salvation. The plan of salvation is centered in the gospel. You must believe in the death of the barrel, the resurrection of Christ. It is the gospel, Romans 1, 16, that is the power of God and the salvation. Inviting Christ in your heart is a misdirected invitation. It is certainly not the gospel. And nobody’s ever been saved that way. You say, well, I will save that way. No, you weren’t. No, you weren’t. Now you weren’t, nobody’s ever been saved by doing that.

The Bible nowhere says invite Christ in your heart and you’ll be saved. The Bible says believe or trust on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Even John 3 16 says for God so loved the world that’s the whole human race that he gave, his only begotten Son that’s Jesus Christ, that who’s to ever what? Believeth, trustth is the word from the Greek. If you would trust in him, you would not perish because he perished in your place, but you would have everlasting life.

So you’re not saved by inviting Christ in your heart. By the way, I was a victim of that. In the church I was raised in, I was every Sunday, we would sing a chorus in our church. Into my heart, into my heart, come into my heart, Lord Jesus, come in today, come into stay, come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Well anyway, I didn’t mean to sing to you, but in any case, that is so ingrained in my mind. We sang that every Sunday in our church, then we’d have a moment of silence where everybody in the church was invited to invite Christ into their heart.

And I did it every Sunday from the time I was probably six years old till I was eighteen when I finally discovered the Gospel of Eighteen. But you know, all those years I did it. At least fifty Sundays a year, I was always at church. I was raised in church, but you know, I never got saved because that’s not how you get saved. It wasn’t until I was 18 that I learned that I had to trust that Jesus died for me and shed his blood and paid my sin debt and full by his death.

And if I would only trust him and his finished work at the cross that I would be saved and saved eternally and I got saved when I was 18. But nobody, nobody’s ever been saved by inviting Christ into your heart. People said, well, what about Revelation 320? Christ says, behold, I stand at the door and not. If any man hear my voice and will open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him. Well, that’s not even a salvation verse.

If you read the context, Christ is knocking on the church of Laodicea. The church at Laodicea had left Jesus out of their plans. and it’s talking about celcius. This is talking to believers. Who were leaving Christ out of their fellowship, Christ is standing at the door of the church saying if you’ll… somebody just will hear my knock and open the door to the church. I’ll come into the… body of believers there at Laodicea, and I’ll sup with you which has to do with supper, having fellowship, and it has to do with fellowship.

Not salvation. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. This is not the door of your heart. And by the way, that’s just all fabricated. There is no door on your heart. Kids know that. You know, those who try to evangelize that way, kids will say, there’s no door on my heart. There’s no door on my heart. And why would Christ want to come into my heart anyway? How will He fit? And won’t He get blood all over Him?

Well, the kids know that it’s a pumping organ. And obviously, we’re never told in the Bible to invite Christ into our hearts. The Bible says, trust. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and they’ll show it to me saved. Whosoever, believeth or trusted in Christ, should not perish but have everlasting life. Boy, the devil is clever, isn’t he? He wants to blind people lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ. Who is the image of God to shine unto them?

2 Corinthians 4, 4, tells us that Satan blinds people so they don’t get the gospel. And you know, the invite Christ in your heart thing bypasses the cross, bypasses the gospel, And just says, invite him in and you’re going to be saved. You have to trust that he died and shed his blood and was buried and rose again from the dead in order to be saved. Nobody’s ever been saved by inviting Christ into their heart. Nobody has been saved by giving their heart to Christ.

The only way anyone has been saved and everybody’s saved the same way is by trusting that Jesus Christ died on the cross and paid for your sin debt in full. Romans 1 16 again says, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it the gospel is the power of God and the salvation to everyone that believe us. The gospel is the good news message of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ. You must trust that Christ died for your sins.

Shed His blood to wash them away was buried and rose again from the dead. I hope you have trusted Christ as your Savior because I invited Christ into my heart for twelve years, at least fifty Sundays a year, that’s six hundred times I invited Christ into my heart. I was never saved. I finally heard the gospel and I trusted that Jesus died for me and shed my blood was buried in rose again from the dead and I was saved.

I can’t believe I went through all those years of church. I had been confirmed and baptized, demonetized, pasteurized, capsized, Simonized, you name it, I went through it, but I was never saved. I was left confused as a little boy wanting to know the truth. I hope this has helped you today. If you’re using those phrases in my Christ in your heart, get rid of them. It took me three years after I was saved to get rid of the bad phrases phrases I had been taught in my church that were just absolutely unscriptural.

And by the way, inviting Christ in your heart is unscriptural and it is not supportable by the Bible. Isn’t that amazing? There are so many things that were taught that we embrace that will probably even think, oh, it’s in the Bible someplace because you hear it so often, but because you hear it often doesn’t make it true. And boy, the devil is good about telling a lie so many times that people actually believe It is the truth. Don’t believe that?

Check it out in your Bible and you’ll find as John 3.16 says, God so loved the whole human race, the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, and whosoever believe it. That means to trust in Christ. You’ll not perish, but you’ll have everlasting life. I’m Dr. Englens from Mrs. Bible. I’m wonderful to be with you on this Monday as we look forward to a great week of conversation with you from the Bible and we have live callers right now we’re going to go to that phone bank in just a minute but the phone number is 1-800-576-3771 that’s 1-800-576-3771.

We have Benjamin in Clearwater and Benjamin welcome to Bibleline. Hello brother Hank. Good morning. Good morning. This is Benjamin. I mean, I have a little bit problem. With something in the Bible, it is a person that says that God gave to him a vision and that took him to the hell. But Abraham said in Luke 1626, Abraham said nobody can come from hell to us and us can not go to hell either. And then in the revelation 2014 say that going to throw the herd in the lake of fire.

And then if God going to do that going to throw the herd to the lake of fire instead God show any vision to anybody from her I believe support to show the vision from the lake of fire. Well, let me tell you, this fellow, whoever he is, is absolutely wrong. Once you die, you don’t come back. That of course would be reincarnation. And the Bible says that once you die, then you stand before the Lord, and you’re not coming back.

So as far as coming back to this earth, you will live forever if you’re a believer with the Lord, and if you’re lost, you’ll be forever in hell. But those in hell don’t get out of hell, so that’s completely wrong teaching. So once a person dies, it’s forever too late. And the vision they had was certainly not from God. They’re those who claim that they go to heaven the same way, and that isn’t true either. That is not possible for you to come back once you have died.

Hebrews 927, it’s appointed on the men once to die and then the judgment. So when you die, you’re going to stand before the Almighty God. Now in Luke 16 that you just referenced, hell there is really the Greek word Hades and that is the temporary place where the lost will be held and tell they’re cast into the eternal lake of fire, which is the final hell. So hell and Hades are not the same thing. Hell is equivalent to the lake of fire.

Hades is the place where people wait until they get there. Prior to Christ’s death barrel resurrection, the saved also went to Hades, but it was divided into two parts. A part of comfort called Paradise, where the believers were, and that’s where Abraham was, and that’s where the beggar named Lazarus went when he died and was there. And the rich man who was lost went to the place of Flamin’ Torment there in the heart of the earth in Hades and all those that are lost will remain in Hades until after the thousand year reign of price where you cited in Revelation 20 where Hades will be delivered up.

It’s translated hell in the King James web. It should read Hades was delivered up and they were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And then this guy don’t have any base to gain proof that God can took anybody ambition to help to show what happened down there. Exactly, that’s the term you’re wrong. Thank you very much. All right, thank you, Benjamin. And well, there’s a lot of wrong information out there in this world. And you have to keep going back to the Bible as the final authority.

I’m not the final authority. The Bible is. And I’m just citing the Bible. And that’s what we do here on Bible. And we’re going to go to Ryan in St. Petersburg and Ryan. Welcome to Bibleline. And you’re on the air. Hey. Go for it. Excuse me? Go ahead. Okay. I was in a little dialogue with my, what was the low on one of my employees and where he’s, I don’t believe her first of all and he’s not and he’s saying if God, if God already knows if something’s going to happen and he’s, and if there’s no way that it can’t happen, then how is it still free will that, you know, if, like if say I’m going to drive to the store today if God knows I’m going to do that.

How is it still free will if absolutely has to happen? Well, it needs to be. The answer is that the Bible says that we are elected according to foreign knowledge. God naturally knows the future, but he doesn’t know it because he predetermined it. Now if you are going to go to the store this afternoon, that’s because you have predetermined that you are going to go. And that’s why you would know that you are going to go to the store.

You can say, I know I am going to go to the store this afternoon. That’s because you have pre-planned that. But God knows that you are going to the store because he has already seen it happen. He’s not bound by time, but He didn’t make your choice for you to go to the store nor does He make your choice to believe or not believe on Christ. That is certainly a choice that everyone can make. And if you read 2 Peter chapter 3, it tells us there in verse 9 that God is not willing I mean He doesn’t say many.

He says that he’s not willing to finish his parish, but that all should come to repent. So it’s God’s desire and it tells us there in that passage that God has long suffered. He’s patient and he gives us plenty of time in our lifetime to come to know Christ as our Savior and it’s our choice, but he doesn’t want anybody to be lost. Christ died for all men and all that will come and trust Christ, whosoever can be saved obviously.

God knows it not because he predetermined it. He knows it because He knows the future, but he knows what choice will make but it’s our choice Okay, and I got one more island and they’re the tribe and they don’t speak English and they don’t have you know You know, Bibles and Hell books and they have no way to get communicated to and they never hear the gospel and they die. Are they going to go to hell? Well, the answer, of course, is yes.

But if they seek the Bible says that God will get the truth to them So apparently he’ll have a ship land on that island or in some way I get the gospel to that island to those people and you see that example throughout the Bible it says in Jeremiah 2913 write it down Jeremiah 2913 and you shall seek me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart. Now God first seeks us and the Holy Spirit convicts us of our need of the Savior and we may not know who God is but we know that we have a need because God implants that within us.

Everywhere around the world we know that people believe in a Supreme Being. That’s because Romans 119 says, God, He implants in everyone a knowledge that He does exist. Also, the Holy Spirit convicts us of the fact that we’re sinful. Around the world guilt is universal. Why? Because we’re all guilty. We’ve all sinned and have come shortly before we’ve gone. And people know that they’re going to give an account one day to a Supreme Being. And then people are fearful of death because they know they’re going to have to give an account one day.

Well, if they seek, then God promises that they’ll find, and it doesn’t matter where you live, God can get the message of the gospel to that person wherever they might live. You have to believe because the Bible tells us it happens, but in reality, you read the stories throughout the Bible of people researching, seeking, and God brought the message to them no matter where they live. In Acts 8, you have a man from Africa, an Ethiopian unique. He’s seeking.

leads Philip over to him and his chariot and Philip leads into Christ. In Acts chapter 10 you have a corneuse, a Roman soldier doing duty in Israel seeking the truth and God links him up with Peter and Peter leads him and his family to Christ and so on and so on. There’s an example, for example, in the Bible of people that were lost, that were seeking and God got the message to them. Okay. And just where he had to go to the city that got from.

That that’s true or how you explain that I’m not too sure what story you’re talking about those They don’t have to give me a description reference on that get back there on that Ryan and we’ll take a look at it alright, but You know the Bible’s the answer book. So just keep keep in it and you’re doing good and and stay with it alright, thank you bye bye Ryan it was Ryan in In St. Petersburg, Florida, we have Garland in Plant City, Florida, and Garland, welcome to Bible on your own ear.

Yes, sir. Best way to explain someone about the authenticity of the Bible, I know it was inspired by God and all that, but people get hung up that man wrote it and everything. What would be the best way to it? Not more hang-ups because I want to hear your answer. Thank you, Garland. What I like to do is I show Isaiah 484. God says, because I knew that you were obstinate and press-headed and iron-necked, even says were stubborn or hard to be convinced.

Isaiah 484. Verse 5 goes on to say, God says, therefore, I have even from the beginning, showed it to me, Before it came to pass, I showed it the list you should say, well, my religion or my opinion or my idol have done them and so on and so on. So God tells us I’m going to tell you things before they come to pass, things that you didn’t know before you discover them so you can know the Bible is the Word of God.

The Bible, for example, tells the whole life of Christ hundreds and hundreds of years before he ever came. There are about 330 detailed prophecies about the first coming of Christ, and Jesus fulfilled every one of them. The probability of that happening is impossible, except that God did it. If you took every one of those 330 prophecies and gave one in ten chance of being fulfilled, the probability that all of them could be fulfilled in one person would be one chance in the 10 to the 330th power.

That’s a lot of zeros to write after one. In any case, obviously it demonstrates the accuracy of the Bible and the trustworthiness of the Bible and the fact that God had to write it, men could never have devised that in advance, hundreds of years in advance and had it fulfilled in one person. But Jesus Christ meant all the requirements and fulfilled all those prophecies, plus just the science aspect. You know, the Bible tells us the Earth is round in Isaiah 40, 22, thousands of years before Columbus ever sailed the ocean blue.

Also we know that the Bible tells us the Earth is suspended in space upon nothing. Job 26, 7, 3500 years ago. The Bible tells us Einstein’s formula that God created the universe out of energy. Jeremiah 10, 12. I have a list of my favorite 40 scientific facts which is amazing. The Bible doesn’t have any unscientific facts but it’s right on with some of the most interesting things and many of which we’ve only discovered in the past couple hundred years or so.

And that’s why I believe the Bible is the word of God and I hope that you would, if you need more help, I have a couple of CDs that are just perfect for this and it will give you the ammunition you need. We gotta go to break, so keep your radio dialled tuned right where it is. We’ll come back into a second half of Bibleline, so please don’t go away, but keep your dialled tuned right here. The Bibleline, and we’re so glad you were tuned in today.

Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Alright, I’m not going to go through this. This is Bibleline. It’s wonderful to be with you today. Thanks again for tuning in and we want to thank you that pray for and give to Bible and you’re the ones who make it possible for us to be on the air every day. We by the way are streaming to the Internet. You can catch our programs 24-7 by going to BibleLineMinistries.org or .com and click on the TV set is the best way to do it and you’ll get a page that comes up with the TV programs on the left click there or radio programs on the right click there and if you want to catch our webcast of our Sunday services click on the camera on our homepage and you’ll

be connected up. We’re so excited about what God is doing and we had a family apparently in Sweden that was catching our morning worship service on the internet yesterday. It truly is the worldwide web. Bible Unbroadcast Our Radio Showdown in Honduras on the island of Rotan. That island has 80,000 people, 80,000 people on that one island, and reaches the whole country, Togusicalpa, the capital of Honduras and other cities across the nation. We’re excited about our TV programs being aired in Mongolia.

The station manager over there, I’ve gotten to know him and he has run our programs for free in Mongolia. And they’re translating me into Mongolian, can you imagine? In any case, we’re excited about what God is doing and expanding this ministry. And if you don’t ever part in all of that, you can give a gift to my Bible and that would really help us continue to be able to get this message out. And you can do that by mail, sending it to Bibleline, and if you want to call R800 number, they’ll send you an envelope with our address on it, or they’ll recite it for you so you can write it down and send that gift in to Bibleline, make your check out to Bibleline.

And also you can give my credit card if you prefer with a phone, and that’s a very simple, easy way to do that. Many people prefer that. So in any case, pray for Bible and pray for me, if you would, and pray for the world that we live in that needs no Christ. We’re living in a scary world. The headline seemed to reflect this world is not going to get better. It’s going to get worse just like the Bible predicts until Jesus comes back and then he turns it around and then there will be peace on earth.

Good, well-tured men. We’re going to be joining the stations that have been on break. We’re going to do the second half of Bibleline. I hope you’ll tune it in. If your station doesn’t carry it, get on the Internet and you can catch the full hour Bibleline every day. So hang tight and grab on your wrist. and keep it tuned right where it is and here we go. We’re going to do the second half of Bibleline. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr.

Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right. We’re back for a net break and this is Bibleline and it’s great to be with you. And it’s Monday and we’re having fun here at Bible and we’re glad that we’re able to be with you. We should be up on the internet this week. We have some technical problems last, but I think they’ve gotten resolved. So welcome back to our internet listeners wherever you might be and we have internet listeners and we know around the world.

147 countries have logged on and that’s exciting. And by the way, we webcast our morning worship service from the Calvary Community Church where I passed her in Tampa, Florida. And yesterday, we had a family in Sweden that logged on to watch our worship service. It’s not exciting, it’s really the worldwide web. And these programs, our radio and television and our worship services are available around the world on the internet. If you have your laptop and you go someplace, you can plug in and get Bible on wherever you might go.

Isn’t that amazing? 24 hours a day, seven days a week at your pleasure, you can tune in and join us here on Bible and either live at the time when we broadcast or later to go back and get the archives and listen to past programs. We’re excited about this year and we, if you want to go to Israel, you have to decide this week. This is about it, I think. I’m not too sure, but I think this is going to be the final week where you can say yes.

So give us a call and we’ll send out the material or you can get it off to the Internet site by going to the Bible and News on the homepage and download the whole information that you need there. And let’s go. March 12th, we’ll leave on a Monday, coming back March 23rd of Friday. It’ll be trip number 14 for me. We’re going to have a wonderful time and we’ll retrace the steps of Christ. We’ll be baptizing in the Jordan River.

be floating in the Dead Sea. We’ll be having the Lord’s Supper right next to the Hill of Calvary and we’re just going to have a great time. I’d love to have you be along with us on this wonderful trip. By the way, we still need help in keeping Bible out on the air with out your help. We could not do it. We are not funded by anybody but our listeners. And so your gifts are very, very important to us.

And so if you’d pray for us and if it’s possible, give a gift to Bibleline. That would be great. If you could give a gift this month and help us keep this Bibleline program going around the world, that would be wonderful. And we certainly could use your help and we appreciate it very much. It’s very real. I like what it says in Philippians 4 17, Paul talking to the Philippian believers said, I’m not that I desire a gift. He says, I’m really not trying to get any money out of you, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

That changed my whole concept of giving years and years and years ago when I realized that wow, I was losing if I didn’t give. And if I invested wisely where fruit was being accrued for the Lord, that that would accrue through toward my account in heaven as I gave to a ministry that was bearing fruit. I had a lady in tears yesterday that her father had been restored to her through Bible line. It’s not exciting. Jesus said, my daddy and I never really got along.

But now he and I get along great. And so he said she said Bibleline, this guy, he’s into the Bible and got him turned around. We get reports every week of people getting saved. and people dedicating their lives and people even going off into ministry because of the Bible and radio show. We believe that we are bearing fruit for Christ and that this would be a worthy ministry to invest in. If you want to help us, your gifts would be greatly appreciated.

We don’t pay any salaries to anybody. I don’t get a salary. We just want to get this message out. So we try to invest all that we have to do exactly that. Pray force. If you could give the Bibleline, that would even be extra good because we could use your help to be able to keep this ministry going and to be able to expand as God would bless. Thank you. Thank you in advance. And we sure appreciate all of you.

And thanks for the nice cards and letters and notes that I’ve gotten over the holidays. It’s been a real encouragement to me to know that people are really appreciative of this program. In fact, we had a fellow just stopped by this morning and said he listens every day and it’s only found us a month ago but loves the program and is listening as he is in his truck throughout the day. That’s exciting and we’re pleased that this is what is going on.

We have some live callers out there and lots of off air. We’ll try to do the best we can to get to them all and I hope that you will call in if you have a question as well. By the way, we’re on Direct TV. That is World Harvest Television Channel 321 twice a week now. We’re on Tuesday nights at 6.30 and Thursday nights at 6.30. That’s anywhere in the North American continent. If you have the Direct TV, a little satellite on your roof, you can get us there on Channel 321, which is World Harvest Television 630.

evening and 6.30 Thursday evening and that’s eastern setting time. We crossed the whole nation. People out in California will hear us three hours earlier on Pacific time. Keep that in mind and tomorrow night is going to be Tuesday night and you can listen by way of direct TV. We have Mr. Anonymous waiting and he is been patient and welcome to Bibleline from and I got a Bible screaming. I listened up. I’m going to do that. Okay, you’re up next, okay?

So, anyway, somehow we lost an um… on us and uh… he has scripture for me but greater c that is in us and he did is in the world that’s the first time for for a very familiar adverse but somehow i don’t know how we did that let me try again see if he’s still out there somewhere uh… are you still there I’m sorry, we just got going and somehow got cut off Okay, the scripture my Bible scripts are great if he doesn’t mean Then he that is in the world.

What do you think that means? I believe that God the Holy Spirit involves the believer and he’s greater than Satan. He’s out there in the world Okay, so that means that a believer can be authorized to quote that particular scripture as a believer. As a believer we can say that greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. Absolutely is he that is in you or in you? God the Holy Spirit is in you.

Okay. Can we hold a spirit? God, the Holy Spirit is God. Can you say the Holy Spirit is Jesus? I think we can sometimes I say that. You know, it says in Colossians 1.28, Christ dwells in me. Alright, alright now. If Christ dwells in you, why is it that Satan refused to let Christians play and invite Christ to come into this? them. Well you know the reason why is because that’s not how you get saved that’s a consequence are getting saved.

When you get saved, when you trust Christ, there’s death, burial, and resurrection, the fact that He shins but the cross, God saves you, and then as a consequence you won’t go to hell. As a consequence you will go to heaven. As a consequence the Holy Spirit or Christ comes and dwells in your body. As a consequence you’re not under the law but under grace. And there are dozens and dozens of consequences, but you’re not saved by a consequence. So you’re not saved by saying, God, don’t send me to hell.

You could say that every day of your life would go to hell. You have to trust Christ to be saved and then you won’t go to hell. You’re not saved by inviting Christ into your heart. That’s a consequence of trusting Christ and then He does come and dwell in your body. And so that is the answer is that you don’t get to heaven the back doorway. You get to heaven through the front door. You trust Christ and He saves you.

And there are dozens of consequences that occur. But to ask for a consequence without trusting in the death of the burial and resurrection of Christ will get you nowhere. I’m not using it to have that. It’s been almost over two minutes. I tell you that running. I started calling Hal up and giving him the questions I had. You and my patients can get more out there and they believe that that’s bad. I think it’s wonderful that we’re better than people that need to know Christ.

Oh, now let me bring you the wrong, I know you said it’s great to see you there, so you shouldn’t be afraid of this theological dialogue. Am I correct? Go for it, Mr. Anonymous. You’re okay. All right. Now, I never did bring up the word salvation. You brought that up. All right? Well, the only way Christ can come into your body to dwell within you is that you get that’s a consequence of salvation. So you asked me all questions.

Okay. I guess so. Are we done now? Is that finished or what? Hey, you may step down from the bench. God bless you. Have a great day. All right. Thank you, Mr. Namas. I don’t really know where he’s going there except that he wants to invite Christ into his heart, but inviting Christ in your heart doesn’t work. You must trust that Jesus died, shed his blood, was buried and rose again from the dead to be saved. And in a consequence, one of dozens is that he will then come and dwell in your body.

But turned by Christ in your heart is bad theology. Thank you Mr. Ninoes. We now have Brad in Clearwater, Florida, and Brad, welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Air. Good morning, Pastor Len Strong. Good morning. uh… i have a retro question for you uh… if the enterprise work to come out of the uh… president proton and the president vice president half speaker work saying party in the statement that uh… he would have no regard for his own people be also taken as he would have no regard for his own political party all hang out to listen to your response on the radio all right well i’m not too sure that that’s even a accurate quotient bible that I don’t know that it says you want to regard for his own people, but I wouldn’t want to expand it to the political scene.

And we don’t know who the Antichrist is, but truly we’re living in a scary time. Apparently, Israel is making plans to use nuclear weapons to take out Iran’s nuclear capability. And so things are getting a little more heated up. We probably may expect a lot more terra sax this year and the world is seemingly more hostile. These are days when Christ is going to be coming back in the near future. I’m not an eight-center, but I’m certainly looking for Christ to return.

Mary, in the land, Florida, I think we answered this question here last week. So I’m going to pass over that one. Wyatt in Lakeland, Florida calls in and he says, off air, cursing God and not caring about anything. Could the soul be harvested when clinically dead during a heart attack? Well, Wyatt, in order to have your soul harvested, as you say, I guess that means that you’re either with the Lord or you wind up in hell, That takes place when you are biblically dead.

Clinically dead doesn’t always meet the same criteria. A person can be declared clinically dead when their heart stops beating, but it’s not until the soul leaves the body that you’re really biblically dead. Once that happens, the soul doesn’t come back into your body. So obviously you’re not going to revive. not going to come back. The very fact that you had a heart attack and you survived means that your soul was not harvested. But as far as your cursing God and not caring about anything, I think that you’re probably experiencing depression and anger over things not going the way you had planned for them to do.

You need to get into the scriptures and maybe also you might need to see your doctor about depression which is certainly a very real experience. We have Michael in Tampa, Florida says, if I break God’s law and say that I’m saved, well I go to heaven. Well the question is you can say that you’re saved but you’re not saved unless you believe the gospel. So when you trust Christ then you become saved. When you trust that Christ died and shed his blood and was buried and rose again from the dead God.

Then you’re saved forever no matter what. Now that doesn’t mean you have a license to sin. God is going to hold you accountable and God will discipline you if you’re delinquent. But in John 637, Michael, Christ says him that cometh to me. So obviously to be saved, you have to come to Christ and trust him that he died and shed his blood across for you. Then you are saved and it says him that cometh to me. me I will in no one has cast out.

That means he will not cast you out for any reason. So once you trust Christ, you are saved and saved forever. So thank you Michael, I hope that helps. So if you break God’s laws after you’re saved, you’ll still get a heaven that you might get there soon or you’re planned on it or God’s going to rough you up a little bit. He’ll get your attention. He will discipline you like a father with his son, Hebrews 12-6. It says for whom the Lord loves, he chases or disciplines every son whom he receives.

Hebrews 12-6. Off the air, John in Warner, Robbins, Georgia leaves an offer of question. Can you explain the Preterous View of the Revelation? It is my understanding that they believe that John was speaking of events that already happened. That is correct. Hank Hennigraff is a Preterist and so many others are that believe that Christ already came back in 8070 With all of his power and all his glory, but apparently nobody saw it It’s incorrect all of this was based on an early date for the book of Revelation.

They believed that it occurred or was written before the before 8063 and they believe the tribulation period is from 8063 to 8070 but the Antichrist was Nero and that the second coming was the Roman armies coming against Jerusalem in 8070. All of that is craziness the book revelation is still future. You cannot explain the verses in Revelation by looking back you have to look to the future. We believe Revelation was written in 1896. We have a great book in our resource center here called The End Times Controversy by Thomas Ice and I was in a debate with him against Preteris and he is wonderful.

He’s got a great book out that really nails the stake in the coffin here and nails it shut. It demonstrates without a doubt a late date for the writing of the book of Revelation, which means that to try to say that it was foretelling the events that took place in 8063 to 8070 can’t be possible since the book of Revelation was written at least 25 years later. So you might want to get that book. It will forever solve it for you and the Preterists are clearly wrong.

They say we’re in the kingdom now. If we’re in the kingdom now, why is it that we have all these wars? the Bible on during the Kingdom, the earth will be at peace and the nations will not learn war anymore. And Christ also will be visibly ruling the earth from Jerusalem, not happened yet and these people are clearly wrong and they don’t think the Bible literally, they say it’s metaphorical. That’s their favorite word. Thank you John. We now have Adam in Tampa, Florida and Adam will come to Bible on you’re on the earth.

Yes, I think my question is from 1 Corinthians chapter 3. The first couple verses I was talking about the salad food. I can’t give you milk, not salad food. Could you explain what he means by that? Well, he’s talking about the ABCs as verses, things that are a little more complex. Hebrews Hebrews talks about how those readers of Hebrews were not capable of taking further information in because again the problem was with them not the fact that Paul didn’t want to teach him or whoever the writer of Hebrews is and I’m not suggesting that Paul was but it says In Hebrews 5, for example, I have many things here I’d like to tell you about Jesus, things that are hard to be uttered seeing you are dull of hearing.

And then it goes on to say that for one of the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again the things which are the first principles of the oracles of God and it becomes such as have need of milk and not of strong meat. So apparently just the ABCs are the milk and to go further and deeper into God’s word is the strong meat and the crindian believers and carnal believers are Are unable to take in more because their minds are on a different mindset They’re thinking about the things of this world and the things that satisfy their flesh and they’re not on a spiritual course Okay, so is so does that mean that there’s a spiritual truth beyond the Bible?

No, no when I talking about that But we’re talking about that. There’s most Christians can’t even quote a Bible verse and they don’t go very far in their Christian life most Christians in church sit there in the same few week after week, year after year and don’t make much. let’s progress you don’t see any change in their lives and that’s because they’re not really drinking in and taking in the word of God. You have to not only drink it in but you have to put it to use and the Bible says there are two things.

Just like in the physical realm we have to eat food but all you did was eat and you stayed in your bed 24 hours a day. I’m afraid you would wind up in trouble. You wouldn’t be able to walk, you wouldn’t be be able to do anything and you die. But you have to have physical exercise along with taking in food. The same is true spiritually. You have to take in the Bible and then begin to apply it and use it.

And then you become a turd and you grow as a Christian. You don’t grow and you don’t make progress unless you exercise as well as eat the word of God. Okay, thank you very much. All right. Thank you, Adam. And that was Adam in Tampa, Florida. We have Jonathan in Richmond, Virginia and Jonathan. Welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Thank you for picking our cards on, Danny. You’re welcome. And I somehow got a dial tone there. You want to pick up and see if he’s there.

And we’ll go on to Sam in Lakeland, Florida. Is he still there? All right. Hold on. We have Jonathan still there. Jonathan. I have a dozen. I don’t know what’s going on there. And we’ll try one more time here with Jonathan. Let’s see if you’re there. Jonathan, are you there? Yeah. OK, something happened there. I don’t know how to explain it. But go ahead. You’re on there. Go ahead. Yes. Dr. Hank? Yeah. Yes, thank you for taking my call.

I’m right here listening to you. Go ahead. Oh, OK. You’re on there. I’m a deaf male friend believer in Jesus and the only way to heaven. But I wanted to ask a question about apostasy. And if someone is a believer, can they deny Jesus Christ and do their salvation? No, you can’t lose your salvation no matter what you do. This is a great verse. You might want to write this one down. It’s over in Second Timothy, chapter two, where it says in verse 13, if we believe not, yet he got abided faithful.

He cannot deny himself. In other words, even if you stop believing, It’s a tough break. Once you get saved, you’re stuck. So you’re born again and you cannot reverse that. You cannot become unborn. There’s nothing in the Bible about a person being born again, becoming unborn. Once you’re born again, you’re born again forever. Christ will not catch you out for any reason, John 637. And even if you stop believing, God’s syllabi is faithful. He can’t deny the promise that He said He would save you eternally at the moment you trust Him.

So, too bad so sad you’re saved forever. you have to live with that. But that doesn’t mean you have a license to send, nor does it mean that we should sit back and do nothing. We need to grow, we need to become disciples, live for Christ and proclaim this message to our families and our loved ones and our friends and live our lives to please Christ. Okay. Can you explain the policy real quick? The policy is something committed by a believer where they deny truths that they once embraced or that are the fundamental truths of the Bible.

We see a apostasy occurring today like never before where churches are departing from Sound Doctrine. If you look at 2 Timothy 4 verse 3 it says the time will come and I believe it has come when they will not endure Sound Doctrine. And today churches are turning away their ears from the Bible and according to verse of Second Timothy chapter 4, it says they turn away their ears from the truth, the Bible, and they turn to fables or fictions or lies.

We’re seeing it happen every day. So that’s what an apostate is. They don’t deny being a Christian, but they deny the basic doctrines of Christianity, and that is apostasy. We sure do thank you for that call. We are running out of time here. We have a number of offer questions here. We have Bob in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. What is Matthew 2440 and 41 relating to? In this might be our last question today because we are… He is racing here against the clock.

Verse 40, and 41 is talking about the second coming, not the rapture. Talking about when Christ comes back, the unbelievers will be taken in judgment and killed. No unbelievers will enter the millennium, but the believers are left behind to enter the thousand year reign of Christ. The opposite of what happens at the rapture when the believers are taken up, The unbelievers left behind at the second coming, which is what is talking about in the context there. The believers are left behind to enter the thousand year end of Christ.

The unbelievers are taken in judgment and killed just as the Noah’s flood. The unbelievers were taken by the flood and destroyed and the believers in the ark were left to repopulate the earth. Thank you Bob for listening up there in New Brunswick, Canada. I’m assuming on the internet and God bless all of you internet listeners and we’re glad that we’re back on the internet for you today and we’re going to have to run. And again, I want to thank you for praying for and giving the Bibleline. Your gifts are what keep this program going. And we hate to talk about money, but, you know, as a believer, it’s a privilege to be able to give of and to give smart where you’re getting results for your money.

And Bible on of course I think is the most efficient operation around because we have very little over him and we’re punching out there with a message to a wide audience. And we’re excited about how we hear reports all the time of people getting saved, lives being changed and people dedicating their lives and going into Christian ministry. And so as Paul says in Philippians 4 17, when you give to a ministry that’s producing fruit, that fruit will accrue to your account in heaven.

So your rewards in heaven are mounting up. It’s just like in the physical realm, if you invest poorly, you might lose your money and you might not get any results and you might not have investment when you come to retire. But as a believer, we’re to be laying up treasures in heaven and we’re to give smart where we’re giving where the gift is producing fruit for Christ. And I believe fruit is souls and fruit is winning the lost and challenging them to go out and win more lost to Christ.

And I believe that’s what Bibleline is doing. Maybe you’d like to have a part. You can do that by credit card over the phone. You can do it on our online bookstore on our website, BibleLineMinistries.org or You can call our operators, get our address or get us to send you an envelope with it on it. You can do it by mail. In any case, your help is vital part of keeping Bible out in the air. I’m Dr. Englund’s room.

It’s wonderful to be with you every day. I hope you’ll tell your friends that helped us build our audience and really become a partner with us, praying for us, building the audience and telling others, and also financially supporting Bible and helping us continue to reach out to a world that needs to know Christ. These are desperate days Christ is coming soon. I really believe that. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming. Gotta run. We’ll see you tomorrow. Bye.
