Well, good morning and welcome to Bibleline great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. We look forward to being with you each and every day Monday through Friday as we come to you live here from Tampa, Florida from our studios at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor.

Looking forward to all the rest of this week. This is Tuesday and tonight we have the last two classes that I’m teaching the last two class hours on in-time controversy and you’re welcome if you’re driving this is to come out and sit in free tonight as my guest and I think you’ll have a good time come on out tonight and if you’re already a student bring a friend or two and fill your car up we ought to have a great time and these will be a couple of great classes tonight we hope you’ll be right there with us and if you’re not able to if you’re in another city you can always call in and sign up for the course and get the passcode to watch all 10 hours of teaching tonight.

You can watch live and then later in archive as the first eight classes are already sitting there in archive and you get the video and the audio on your computer. You get to watch us teach the class and that’s kind of exciting. This is a time of challenge, I believe, for the Christian because we’re being challenged on every side. Islam challenges the gospel, saying that Jesus is not the Son of God, that Jesus did not die on the cross, that Jesus Christ did not pay for the sins of the world, that He did not rise from the dead. the Quran is in our face and denies the gospel message, the good news of the death, the bear, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

And so we need to know what we believe about that. And then of course we have the new challenge from those that are replacement theology and and Reformation theology. You know those who are into Reformed theology or Reformation theology I believe are walking backwards. Why would you look over your shoulder to see what people believe three or four hundred years ago and adopt that as your belief. I think we’ve made a lot of progress since then in understanding the Bible.

And there’s absolutely no reason why we cannot accept the Bible to be literal. Amazing how many people who throw the terms around metaphorical or allegorical or some other term that leads you discouraged because I believe God said what he meant, what he said and in very few cases you have to find a metaphorical application. But otherwise the Bible is literal. When Jesus said, He that believeth on me has everlasting life, that’s exactly what He meant. We don’t have to scratch our heads and say, I wonder what He meant by that.

Well, He meant that if you believed on Him or trusted on Him, you would have everlasting life. Come on tonight, that’s at seven o’clock till nine o’clock. Be my I guess it will be free. So tonight at 7 o’clock, come on out. Be my guest. You’ll have a great time. We’ll have fun. And we are studying the Bible. It’s exciting to be alive in these days. We believe Jesus is coming and he’s coming soon. And who knows? We don’t know a date for the Rapture, but the Rapture is the next event and it could happen at any time. And it could happen this year, wouldn’t that be something? This event is clearly described in the Bible in 1 Thessalonians 4, where it tells us that there will be a group that will be alive and remaining here on the earth when Jesus comes back part way to the earth, not all the way to the earth, but only to the upper atmosphere where he will shout and will be caught up, the Bible says, to meet him in the air.

That’s 1 Thessalonians 4-17 and will be caught up He is the first one to meet the Lord in the air. That means the atmosphere above the earth, and Christ will come back all the way to the earth, seven years later at the Second Coming. So there’s a tremendous difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming. We really shouldn’t call it the Second Coming because he’s only coming partway. But at the Second Coming, which is at the end of the Tribulation Period, seven years after the Rapture, his feet will touch down on the earth.

That’s right. The Bible tells us plainly in Acts 1-11 that Christ will come back in the same manner that He left. He was on the Mount of Olives when He ascended. We just got back from Israel. We were up on the Mount of Olives and somewhere on that mountain Christ ascended into heaven bodily, physically. They watched Him as He went up. And two angels said in Acts 1-11, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as you’ve seen him go.

So Christ is going to come back in the same way, bodily, physically, visibly at the second coming and he’ll come back to the same mountain. He was on the Mount of Olives and somewhere as I said before, you know there are three churches that claim the exact spot. really knows, but it’s kind of humorous. They argue over the exact spot where Christ ascended from. One of them, there’s actually in the rock surface of the mountain, there’s a footprint, and they believe that was the spot because of a footprint there.

I think they’ve been watching too much Superman myself. I don’t believe Jesus had to push down to go up. Do you? Well, apparently they have the Superman mentality. If you ever watched Superman, he would always bend down and launch off of one foot in particular with his arms outstretched in his cape, starting to flap in the wind. The Superman mentality, I think he’s applied to Christ. Christ didn’t have to push down to go up. I don’t believe the footprint is Christ’s footprint in the rock.

And anyway, people go there and they pray and they light candles and they think it’s the exact spot. But somewhere on the Mount of Hollis Christ did ascend up into heaven. Anyway, it was wonderful to be able to be there by the way. The Mount of Hollis is such a beautiful mountain and the view is spectacular. Looking to the west you can see all of Jerusalem and you can see the Temple Mount and you can see the gate that’s walled up that Christ will go into to to enter the temple.

It’s exciting. And to think that when you walk down that road, it’s the ancient Roman road that’s still there to this very day from 2000 years ago, and it’s not paved with asphalt. It’s just the stones Christ walked down that road. We walked all the way down from the top of the Mount of Olives down to the Garden of Gethsemane at the base of the Mount of Olives. What a thrill it was, I think, for all of our group.

We stopped along the way where Christ wept over the city. You read about a Matthew 23 and we just had a marvelous time. We’re going to plan to go maybe early next April. We think about, we might want to leave on April 1st and look at your calendar. See if that fits. We’re talking right now. We haven’t said anything in concrete but we’d love to have you go if we go again this coming year. If the Lord hasn’t come back before then he sure could snatch us out.

year, wouldn’t that be something? But according to Zachariah, the prophet in chapter 14, verse 4, it says, his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Oz, when Christ returns, he’ll return to the same mountain from which he ascended, and his feet will touch on that mountain, and the mountain will split in half, the Bible says. That’s right, when he touches it, it’s going to split in half. You know what’s interesting to me is that those who teach that Christ has already come in 8070.

How come the Mount of Olives is still completely hold? How come it hasn’t split in half? I’d like to see them answer that. Of course they can’t. They just sprinkle pixie dust on the Bible and say, well, it doesn’t really believe that. Hank Hennigraff, R.C. Sproul, so many believe that he’s already returned in 8070. all the Reformation churches, the Methodists, the Presbyterians, the Lutherans, all of them, including the Roman Catholic Church that already had this view from the 5th century.

I believe he’s already returned. Nobody saw it, but if he has, according to the Bible, if you take it literally, he’s going to split that mountain. Zachariah 14’4″, says his feet will stand in that day upon the Mount of Oz, and it will cleave in the midst. Half of the mountain will be removed to the north, half of it to the south, and a valley will be created. Right there directly in front of the temple mount platform where Jesus will look out Through a beautiful valley that will be created when he comes back.

I think the Bible is literal there I believe it really will happen So I missed that somehow in 80 70 it didn’t happen. Maybe they glued it back together Maybe he stuck the mountain back together somehow and they glued it back together. So you don’t see it today in the words It’s just craziness is the way I see it. This is craziness. It’s absolutely denial of a literal Bible that we have. I believe that God said what he meant, meant what he said.

We can approach the Bible and not have to say that we have to wear special goggles. You know, the Mormons pulled that nonsense on us. Joseph Smith found these golden tablets in a cave in New York. And supposedly the angel Moroni came and gave him some special eyeglasses so that he could read them. If you think you have to wear special eyeglasses to read the Bible, then you’re being deceived. And most groups that are wrong have those special eyeglasses.

That’s right. The seven Adventists read the Bible through the writings of L. G. White. The Job’s Witnesses read the Bible through the lenses of the Watchtower Society and so on and so on. And suddenly there are people today that say you have to have the code book to be able to understand the Bible. So really what you’re doing is you’re reading the Bible through their lenses. That’s what we’re talking about here. And the code is really being saved. Once you’re saved, God, the Holy Spirit comes into you and He illuminates the Scripture so we can understand it.

He not only wrote the scripture and the scriptures given by inspiration of God, but he also to the believer who saved illuminates the scripture so that as we read it we have our understanding opened up and we understand what the Lord has said. Jesus is coming in 1 Thessalonians 4, 17, it says, We, which are alive and remain, you and I might be in that group. And if we’re living, when Jesus comes back, we’ll be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and from that moment on, we’ll forever be with Him. We’ll be transformed into our new bodies on the way up, and it’ll be a part of a group that it will never die. Won’t that be exciting? And I believe that we are candidates to being in the rapture.

Look at what’s happening right now in the world, in the Middle East, everywhere. I was looking up on a website that keeps track of how many countries are at war, and they used to be able to say, well, there are 25 countries or 30 countries or 40 countries, and now they say they quit listing them because there are so many. They said it is astronomical. You know Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars and what’s happening right now?

Was he correct? Boy did he nail it on the head. You know after World War II a lot of people thought there wasn’t going to be any war war. Why we nearly wiped ourselves out then. That was the first time nuclear bombs were used and people a little bit frightened of that. was formed and they said well surely we can get together in the United Nations and solve our problems and have peace on earth. Didn’t happen as time has gone forward.

If you were to graph the conflicts in this world from the end of World War II. He said, right up until now, that curve would be going up and up and up and this website said it’s astronomical. It’s just gone out of hand. They don’t even bother to list all the nations that are in conflict today because there are too many. Well, what did Jesus say? It would be wars and rumors of wars. Did He ever hit it on the head?

That’s what I love about the Bible. It’s tomorrow’s news today and it’s extremely accurate. He just doesn’t miss. And we are seeing it happen for our very eyes. There’s going to be famine coming after the rapture and look at this mysterious thing that’s going on now where all these honeybees have disappeared. And they say this is going to infect our fruit production because you need the honeybees to pollinate. They’ll be able to have food. They’ll have fruit. And wow, what’s happened?

This is a mystery. They don’t really know what’s going on here. But we’re living in the end times. I think these are all signs of the times talked about in the Bible, but reflected in our headlines right now. This is the latest news I’m holding in my hand right now, the word of God. Yes. Okay, you’re on the air. Thank you. You have a question? Yes, I do. Hi, Dr. Lindstrom. I have a question. What will happen with this earth after eternity begins? Because I know that I have read the books of Dr. Collins Larkin. But after looking at the charge after the Earth is renewed by fire, what will happen to this Earth?

Well, this is the Earth that will be renewed by fire. It will be a perfect pristine brand new Earth. You know, we’ve polluted this one. And can you imagine enjoying the new Earth and you’re maybe walking down a sea shore and there’s no litter, there’s no trash, no tin cans, nothing remnants of this former Earth. Everywhere you go today you find how we pretty much trash this planet and it’s going to be absolutely beautiful. I think we’re going to be able to enjoy the mountains, the streams, the rivers, the oceans and it’ll be great.

Great and a second question. Who will live in here because I know that the believers will live with the Lord in the New Jerusalem? Right. Is it two separate places? Well it is but I believe the New Jerusalem is huge and it will orbit the planet and it will have 12 gates and it says the gates are open day and night. So I think we are able to leave and maybe come down to the earth and enjoy and go back and our actual home is in New Jerusalem but I think we will be traveling back and forth and I don’t think we need a rocket or spaceship to do it.

I think our new bodies will have the capacity to be able to travel like that. I’m excited about it because at the Rapture we are going to go up through the atmosphere meet the Lord in the air and then seven years later we’ll come back with Christ. Can you imagine coming in from outer space without a rocket, without a spaceship, without a space uniform and we’ll be able to look at the earth as we come in from outer space and re-enter the atmosphere and come back with Christ as He comes back to rule and reign.

I’m excited. I’m going to get a space ride like nobody’s ever gotten before. That’s great. I know because the Jehovah Witness says that they are going to be the ones that live in this earth because the Lord will not get rid of it. And I know that they don’t understand that it will be all believers that once live in here and in the New Jerusalem. Absolutely and I hate to break the news to them that they won’t be on the New Earth or in the New Jerusalem because they deny Christ.

That’s right. It’s so sad. I tell them, look, you may think you are, but you’re not going to be on the New Earth. You’re going to be in a place called H-E-L-L. I know you don’t believe in it, but you’re going to believe once you die, it’s going to be too late. I think you need to wake up now. I’ve led a number of witnesses to Christ, but they are so brain-dirty, this is what I say, because they believe the Watchtower lie that they’re not going to make either place.

I appreciate that very much that Dr. Lindstrom. I have been listening to you for a year and a half, and I have been looking for the Lord for all my life. But until I found your problem now, I really know my definition like you say. All right. Well, that’s great, Naomi. Thank you so much and keep listening. Thanks a lot. All right. and the Derek welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hey sir, thanks for taking my call. Oh, okay. I’m not able to listen to the radio here in Texas, but the reason I said it because I’m a mother topic is, but I wanted to ask you a question about Jesus and during the time of the trial by Jesus, and I was trying to see what he wanted to tackle the take of school. Well, obviously, this is where again the predators are wrong.

They believe that right now we are in the Kingdom, but Christ is saying no, the Kingdom is not going to be now, but the Kingdom is postponed. The peace on earth could will toward men that the angels announced has been put off and postponed until after this church age is over. Obviously prior to that he had talked about they didn’t need a sword because obviously with Christ. There was going to be peace on earth, good will toward Ben. There would be no more war on the earth.

The nations would learn war no more. So obviously he predicted accurately conflict right up until he comes back. And look at the news today as we just said. Wars and rumors of wars all over the earth and obviously there’s conflicts worldwide. It’s clear that we’re not in the kingdom yet. That’ll still happen. The rapture will happen first and then seven years later the kingdom will actually be established when Christ’s feet touch on the Mount of Olives he’ll commence his thousand year earthly reign of peace on earth that will toward men.

Patty in Tampa, Florida calls in and she says, Can you explain the history of hatred between the Jews and the Muslims and how the current situation that region falls into end time prophecy? Is it possible for peace? Great question and we have the book for you. How lens you wrote a great one called Everlasting Hatred and he traces the history of that hatred all the way back to Abraham and his sons Isaac and Ishmael. The Jews are related to Isah, through Abraham and the Muslims are related to Abraham through Ishmael.

That conflict that began then is traced right through the Bible. What a great study he did. That’s a great book. We have it available here if you want to call it in order we can ship that out or just stop by. You’re in Tampa, Patty. You’re able to swing by and we’re open until 430 every day. You can just pop in and get a copy of that wonderful book and it’ll help you with that answer, but the peace in the Middle East is not going to happen until Jesus returns, and that won’t be until the second coming seven years after the Rapture.

So if we were raptured out today, the Middle Eastern situation would only worsen. It’s not going to get better. And it will really culminate in World War III, the worst incredible war called the Battle of Armageddon that will take one-third of all the lives on the planet Earth. I’m glad I’m leaving, aren’t you, at the Rapture? And so there is really no possibility for peace until Christ comes back. That’s why Christ is called one of His names, Isaiah 9, 6, the Prince of Peace.

His name is called Wonderful Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. He’s the one that will finally bring peace on Earth, good and you find that Isaiah 9, 6, and peasants and dozens of other verses that will also say the same thing. Kim in Lansing, Michigan calls in and he says, can you explain both sides of the predestination debate? Which side do you take? Well, we are predestinated. That is, if you are a believer, what God did before the foundation of the earth, Tim, is that he predestined the save all that would believe on Christ.

He predestined that all those that would not believe on Christ would be eternally lost. And so that’s what has been predetermined. But the choice is yours. The almighty said it this way the Whosoever wills are the elect and the Whosoever wants are the non-elect So if you become a believer Then you are from that point on predestined to go to heaven to have a new body like Christ to live in the presence of the Lord forever ever to have a home in the New Jerusalem But if you choose not to trust Christ and die as an unbeliever, it’s been predetermined.

You’re gonna go to hell and there’s no escaping that. It’s already passed. My friend, this is a day of challenge. You need to know what you believe and why you believe it.

The fellow from Venice said that he’s considering moving to Tampa so he can be close to Bible Island and attend church here where I pastor. And we’d love to have you not necessarily move to Tampa, but we’d love to have you come by and visit us sometime. We are excited to hear from Harold in Hollywood, Florida, our Jewish atheist friend who is waiting patiently on the line. And Harold, it’s so good to hear from you. Welcome to Bibleline. I hope you’re feeling well. I’m feeling great today. Thank you. You’re now great. This is a novelty of Jewish atheist calling his pastor. That is really something else. I still am riveted by that. Well, I would be honest. I’m not calling my rabbi. I’m calling my pastor. And I’m going to be fair.

There’s a lot on the table here, but I won’t take away the time from the believers. Here’s the question. Religion is all over every station on TV. You know that with the debates. One question I’m going to ask and we’ll start from there. I always hear these people refer to the Bible says this. The Bible, Joel Osteen on his program. He opens up by saying, pick up, this is your Bible. Question on Bible are they talking about? I mean, the Mormon Bible, there’s seven different Bibles, but the first question to go on, what is the Bible?

Well great question. And Harold, we believe it is the same Bible that the Jewish people really brought to us as the prophets were all Jewish. The 39 books that comprised our Old Testament in the way the Jewish people collected them. The same books are numbered as 22 books because they combined some of them like we have First and Second Samuel and First and Second Kings and First and Second Chronicles. Well four of those are combined as one book and so on.

So it reduces the total number but the same books and they accepted those as being the inspired word of God. Of course in addition for us who are believers in Jesus we accept the 27 books of the New Testament and those were accepted as they were written just like the Old Testament books were accepted as they were written as the inspired word of God and we believe those 66 books are indeed the inspired word of God and we believe the original autographs were perfect and without error but of course today we have translations they do have problems but we still have a very very reliable Bible.

The Old Testament has been maintained very well. The people who had copied them. I’ve been to, I just was there at Qumran. I’ve been there many times. The people there were so conscientious whenever they came to the name of God, they would step away from their writing table and take a ritual bath, a baptism to purify themselves, lest they take the name of God in vain and they counted the letters on the page and if they made a mistake it would be burnt and it would start all over and make a new page so they were very careful in the copying and what we believe we have today is a very accurate copy.

Okay the question then is why don’t they mention the Bible. Now I was watching a program on Nicholas Fox or something. They had four qualified Christians and I believe you mentioned the name sometime of Warren, Rick Warren. Now he was there. Now there was a Catholic, and guess what? The forearms did not agree on the different interpretations of old fore.

And the one thing I remember one person, I think it was the Catholic that said that Jesus said that you take into poor and everything regarding these illegal aliens that they are taking in where it says on the other hand they were breaking the law but the Catholic God special whoever it was said no that was Jesus command. So there was a disagreement right there with the other. So what confuses a Jewish atheist listening to that’s why I only listen to you because you know what I believe you but the thing is here are four people and they disagree and They’re all Christian and they’re disagreeing with translation or version of the Bible.

But I don’t understand yet when he’s presidential and it was the Republicans I have to say. And they will say, well the Bible says this and they won’t say what Bible? I mean it’s one Bible has to be true a year ago then all of the Bibles have to be false. It can’t be everybody has a Bible. Now the big question with the, of course, is the Mormon Bible. And then I speak fast, get a lot of points. And then I pick up the sun sent in the morning, which I get.

And this is what nauseates me. I tell you, I think I’m more of a follower of Christ than these people who say they are. But here she is, Paul of white, her explanation is why God wants you to be wealthy. I think that 20 people are here and they’re going to give a lecture on how to make money or something. Paul or White, I don’t think in my opinion that the word would be more like… I’m not healthy. Why God wants you to be healthy, not wealthy.

So in my opinion, a Jew atheist, that’s an abomination. They’re using Jesus’ name to do that. And I feel that’s wrong. But what’s going on is the question, and they won’t answer the question, what Bible are you quoting? And I have to ask you, when they refer to the Bible, why don’t they say it’s the King James Bible. Why did he leave that out? I don’t get it. Well I think a lot of them aren’t even using the King James Bible anymore.

They have some paraphrases and other Bibles that really let the Bible say things that are really not what the Bible really did say. In other words, the writer, the paraphraser is able to express thought however he wants to express it and it’s not necessarily in line with what the Bible actually said. In fact, the message Bible which is the favorite of Rick Warren absolutely changes the meaning 180 degrees from what it actually said in the King James were in the original manuscripts and I’m not a King James only but by goodness these new ones are really bad.

Well you know there’s hope I have to say there’s a religious war in this country and And it’s going to get worse. You know, now Congress, you know, they have a, I don’t know, a Muslim, he wants to take the oath on the Quran, whatever it is. So what are we going to do? You know, I have to say in the Constitution, get this now. Dr. I’m listening. Freedom from or of religion. That’s me, isn’t it? Freedom from religion?

Freedom of religion? And yet I think I’m more religious than some of the people I hear on TV. Certainly I follow probably more or all of it except for the one point that Jesus condemns what does he always quote I am the way. The truth of life and no man can come to the firm above me. Correct. But there should be a little addition to that. You know like accept those who are following maybe the Ten Commandments or something like like that, but I don’t feel I’m a condemned person.

I mean, I can tell you, truthfully, that I probably follow Jesus more than the people like Paul and White or the Feeding Broadcasting Network that’s TBN, that are always taking things out of the Bible that says, send me the money, I’ll take you out of poverty if you’re bankrupt, that’s 24 hours a day. That’s what you hear. So where is the goodness of a Bible if they’re using Jesus’ name to fill up the 7,000 gallons of fuel that they’re going to go around the world to make more money?

And very proud of the fact that they put up a satellite in lowest La Bovia. You know, it’s straighten me out here. I have to agree with you. It is a circus, is what I call it. It’s a part of the in-time prophecies that there would be all of this confusion. It says in Matthew 24, 24, there would arise many false preachers in the last days. I think we’re there. We’re seeing a lot of false preachers. Although they claim to be Christian, many of these are really not Christian.

They’re using Christianity like you say to make money or to further themselves, but really don’t really believe the essential doctrines of the Bible. That’s why I recommend for people to get into the Bible for themselves and see what it really says. And of course in your remark about there should be an appendage to John 14. The commandments never saved anybody and following the golden rule, these things cannot that’s why Christ came, he is the Savior. So yes, a person does have to trust him in order to be able to enter heaven.

There is no other way than Christ. And many of these obviously have ignored that. And therefore they’re not by the Bible definition. They’re not Christians. You’ve heard that. I heard one verse from the Bible. I wrote it down fast because I got asked Dr. Hineck. Romans 13, a Catholic said that that’s what they follow. What does that say in Romans 13? About how that we’re under authority to the government? Is that what he means? No, he justified by taking these illegal into the church and feeding them and taking care of them.

And they said, in that Romans 13, that’s what Jesus wanted. And then the other person said, well, it’s breaking the law. So my question to Dr. Hank. Well, I think Romans 13 would support the latter that they’re breaking the law because we are subject to higher powers and it says there is no power but of God and the powers that be are ordained of God. So human government is established by God and the laws of the land are to be obeyed by Christians and obviously they are twisting this around to say that no they can break the law which is really not true.

Even Jesus was subject to human authority. When they came after him to pay his taxes he told his disciples to go down to the Sea of Galilee and throw in the line and the first fish that they would catch opened its mouth and then there would be a coin that would be sufficient to pay his taxes. So Jesus paid taxes. But the Lord of course told them how to get it. But they honored the authority over them and Jesus himself was so that the tax had paid it.

Maybe Jesus speaking through a Jewish atheist. You can never know. Well I appreciate you listening to me i have a lot of items but i’ll save it for my next call well here on the subject here in good health and uh… well hope that one day we’re going to meet i hope so well with regarding that your your churches up in Tampa before that now let me ask you question the when you open your service do you go into the the bible or do you go into some political thing uh…

Because I heard this dops and he was all over and he’s condemning anybody that will be ruining the Giuliani because he said it’s not with his moral values. So this is a political thing now. It really has become that. Now we opened the Bible here. We aren’t on a political trail. Obviously we want people to know what God’s word says and that’s what we teach here from the beginning to end. You know, I got an envelope returned and it said incomplete address, but I checked with your screen and evidently there was one word in there that came back, so I recent the envelope.

Oh, wonderful. Okay. Thank you so much. And I will continue to do that. But very definitely Harold is really truly more in line with the Bible than many of those who claim that they teach the Bible.

My granddaughter is a my son and his wife are she’s not been exposed to a lot but I will say things have been down then when I’m down the visit I would like when I go to talk to her she’s very inquisitive. If you say a word she’ll say what does that mean you know if she doesn’t understand it. And when I explain about Jesus Christ coming and dying on the cross press, how do I explain to her that God and Jesus Christ are one?

And I will hang out then. Okay. Children, you know, I think we can speak quite frankly with them and they understand more than I think we realize they do. But I think you maybe can go back to the story of Bethlehem, that there was a baby born there in Bethlehem. And God Himself came and dwelt in that baby, and that Jesus was both God and man, and that He did that so we could see Him, because God is a Spirit, and we can’t see a Spirit.

But God chose to indwell in a body so that we could see him and learn about him. And of course he as he grew up and became a man, he went to the cross and was nailed there to die and shed his blood so that he might pay for our sins. All the bad things we’ve ever done were laid upon Jesus and God so loved the world, you and me, that he gave his only begotten son Jesus, the one that was born in Beth.

for him to die for you and me. If we would only trust that he did that for us, God would forgive us and give us the gift of eternal life based on the fact that Christ died in our place and paid for every sin or every bad thing we’ve ever done. I think if you just lay it out and tell the story because it’s just the simple story told in the Bible that God gave His only beak-gotten son, which means the only human ever followed by God was this child that Mary carried nine months and delivered.

That was a child that had no human father, and this was God’s son and God involved that body. God came to be our Savior and He died so that you and I might receive the wonderful gift of eternal life. point out to her what a gift is. And if you offer her something and then you say, well I can’t give it to you until you clean up your room or I can’t give it to you, tell you do this or do that or the other, then it wouldn’t be a gift.

But if she just receives it and it’s something that belongs to you that you’ve purchased then it is truly a gift. And that’s exactly what God did. He completely purchased eternal life by Christ death and offers it completely free. All we need to do is receive it and We receive it by trusting that Jesus died and paid for our sins on the cross. Patsy I hope that helps we’ll pray that you can lead her to Christ and Sounding like she’s inquisitive and and we’ll listen and that’s wonderful.

Good I was listening to Harold, you know, ever since I first heard Harold that verse keeps coming into my mind where Jesus told his disciples, if he’s not against us, then he’s he’s forced. I’m not exactly sure how the verse goes, but I’m sure, you know, I’m talking about. And that’s true. And obviously he’s on our side, even though he yet does not know Jesus as his Savior.

I think Harold is coming close if he’s not almost right there because he’s familiar with what it says, but he’s trying to, I think, avoid the issue because, you know, Jewish people have always been beat up over the fact that they, some churches claim that they’re the killers of Christ, but actually we’re all responsible for Christ death. because of this, they have been persecuted around the world. So it’s a real difficult obstacle for them to overcome to realize that there are Christians who love them.

I think our love for the Jew will really overcome that obstacle so that they might listen to us. As Harold has called me his pastor, hopefully through that because he’s listening, he’s going to soon help trust Jesus as his Savior. and then be responsible for his soul. That’s right. That’s right. Yes. Hello, Dr. Hank. Thank you for taking my call. I just want to say that I sure appreciate your teaching and your ministry and it’s been a blessing to me and my family. I have a question for years. I came out of the charismatic word of faith movement. Was in that for many, many years. And over the past few years, I’ve been an apologist, so to speak, exposed the false teachings and the things that I encountered. and certainly are currently ongoing and it’s accelerating.

Excuse me. And I just, I have so many people, you know, I… I talked to them about, you know, after 16, in beginning at verse 17. and Russell says to mark them that cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine that you’ve learned and avoid them. And I said, you know, that’s one of the reasons why I don’t go into those churches any longer because they teach false doctrine. Paul said in Acts, chapter 20, that he warned them for three years.

He ceased not to warn them every night and day with tears. Such a heart to help people see the truth and to see the false teachings that they’re embracing. But yet, then I’m labeled as hateful or bitter, you know, that we’re go, well, just pray for him, God, don’t say anything. You’re not supposed to touch God to know in it. And of course, I know that. That’s taken out of context that had to do with David not killing Saul, but he rebuked him when he got far enough away Yeah, and I just wondered if you had some advice for me as to how would you go about?
