We’re gonna go to our Bible, and then we’ll go to our live callers. We have people calling in already and getting lined up to go and we’ll talk to them in just a few minutes, but if you’ll open your Bible, we’ll first take a look at God’s Word. If you have your Bible handy there, turn, if you will, to Galatians chapter 1. Galatians chapter 1. Here it says in verse 3, grace be to you and peace from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace and peace. Peace we know is a word that means mercy, unmerited favor and peace is talking about peace with God that only comes from God when we trust Jesus Christ as Savior. But then it goes on to say, grace be to you which is the typical Greek greeting or Gentile greeting and peace, the Hebrew greeting from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ who gave himself for our sins. That he might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God our Father.

What a great description here of the Gospel we have in verse 4, who gave himself for our sins. Who gave himself for our sins. You know this is unique to Christianity. No one else has ever given themselves for your sins. Nobody in Islam, nobody in Buddhism, nobody in Hinduism, no one has ever offered himself as an offering for your sin. But Jesus Christ did, and Jesus Christ is God who came and took on human flesh and went to the cross of Calvary to pay for your sins and mine.

And it says here, He gave Himself. We obviously could not save ourselves and that’s why he gave himself for our sins so he substituted himself into our place and took our sin that upon himself and paid it in full So that we could receive the gift of eternal life who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us Now religion is the exact opposite of that Religion is what we do to try to regain or mend the break between us and God.

But salvation, according to the Bible, is the opposite. It’s what God did for us through Christ that brings about that salvation. Religion is about self, it’s about us, it’s about our works, it’s about our deeds, whereas the Bible, or Christianity, is about God and about what God did for us. for us. It’s not what you do for God that saves. It’s what God did for us through Christ that brings about salvation. And you see that very clearly here in this wonderful verse in Galatians 1-4, who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil world.

If you want to be delivered from this present evil world, you must trust Jesus Christ as your Savior. There is no other way to enter heaven than Jesus Christ. If you’re trusting in any other way, you will not enter heaven. It’s impossible to go to heaven without trusting Jesus Christ as Savior. But then we notice here in Galatians chapter 1 of verse 6, Paul mentions, he says here, I marvel or I’m amazed or I’m surprised that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel.

It’s interesting here they had heard the gospel, they had believed the gospel, they were saved, but now they begin to move away into bad doctrine. And it’s amazing how a believer can become involved with bad doctrine, and this is what this incredible letter of Galatians is written about. We will find a little bit later Paul warns about those who come in privately or secretly or unaware and they actually pervert the gospel of Jesus Christ by adding… The Bible says that that is an accursed message.

It says here this message which is a perversion of the gospel is another gospel but it’s not really completely foreign to the gospel because it’s simply a corruption of it. It says which is not another verse 7 but there would be some that would trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Morning here is that if you pervert, if you change, alter in any way the gospel as is given in the Bible, it no longer is a gospel that will save, but is a or an a cursed message.

Look at the next verse, Galatians 1, 8, but though we, nor an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, than that which we have preached unto you, let him be what? A cursed! The Bible says it becomes an a cursed message. Why? Because if you change it, if you alter it, according to the Bible, you make it null, you make it void, and it becomes a false message, and therefore it comes under God’s curse. And notice what Paul says here so plainly in verse 8.

So we, including himself and the other apostles, are an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, then that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. When I think of this verse, I oftentimes think about the Mormons because the Mormons Book of Mormon was a gospel preached by an angel called the Angel Maroney. And because the Book of Mormon contradicts the Bible and teaches a perverted gospel, a gospel of salvation through Christ and works, it is obviously false.

And to be rejected, it is the cursed message. I call it Maroni Baloney. I call it Maroni Baloney because it is a false message. It’s interesting here that Paul includes how an angel might bring about another message. Though we are an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, then that which we have preached unto you, let him be a curse. You have to be alert, or you’ll hear many times in a curse message and not recognize it to be a curse.

He says again in verse 9, as I said before, so now I say again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you, then that which you have received let him be a curse. Pretty powerful. Really literally it means let him be God damned, which is pretty strong language. The Bible is warning here that if you pervert the gospel of Christ by adding or subtracting from it, changing or altering it in any way, you will not be saved and the person hearing it will not be saved.

And if you notice what it says here in verse 4, here is the true gospel, Christ gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us from this present evil world. Notice there is nothing in there of self, nothing in there for you to do. He just paid it all. He accomplished it all by his death at the cross, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us. We don’t deliver ourselves from hell. We can’t earn our way to heaven.

We don’t deserve eternal life. But Jesus Christ is the deliverer and he delivers us from this present evil world based on the the fact that he gave himself for our sins at the cross. Jesus Christ himself is the Savior. He is the sacrifice and salvation is only received as a gift by trusting Christ’s Savior. So whenever you, and here’s what I call the grace test, is it of grace or is it of works? Close your eyes and just ask yourself as you listen to a message.

Are you being tugged upon, to do something or not do something in your future that will determine whether you make heaven or not. And if so, if that be the case, you are hearing a false message. You are hearing a false message. The true message takes you, the lost, dying sinner, and points you back to the cross. Where the Bible tells us Jesus finished the work of salvation. On the cross Jesus said it is finished. That means paid and full.

Full satisfaction was received at the cross for our debt 2,000 years ago. There’s nothing you and I can do but receive that complete payment that Christ made when we do God saves us. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. Great to be with you today. It’s Wednesday and we are going to take some of our colors. Now we have Jeff down in Fort Lauderdale, Florida who’s been patiently waiting and so Jeff welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning class and thank you for taking my call.

Do you have a question? Yes, first again I thank you because we are only two to death this Christ. But Paul also teaches that also that we should defend the procedure to present all bodies and living sacrifice and even time to teach in second-current and Christ and seeing that if we are born in Christ we are a new preacher and that the old things that we used to do are passed away. So if I’m following Jesus Christ, if he had died for my sins and had redeemed me from my sins, then my life, the things that used to do up all the adultery, the peace and the Sabbath breaking, the commandments that were given unto us become a new person in Jesus Christ, that my life should look like he moved out for me.

Well, definitely we find that we should live for Christ after we’re saved, not because we’re trying to become saved by changing, but we’re saved in order that we might live for Christ now and that we might be a witness for him in this world. But 2nd Corinthians 5, 17 really isn’t saying that our sins are going to go away necessarily. It says that we’re a new creation. When it says, all things are passed away, all things are become new, it talks about the conditions that existed prior to your salvation are passed away and now behold all brand new conditions exist.

If you read the context, that’s certainly true as you read there in chapter 4, it talks about we were under the law but now we’re under grace. We were lost but now we’re saved. We were headed for hell but now we’re headed for heaven. We were obviously spiritually dead, but now we’re spiritually alive. I have written an article called Born Again What Happened and I listed 39. I stopped at 39 because it was a great number to stop at.

But I listed 39 things that happened at the moment of salvation that are brand new and that the old conditions that were true prior to our salvation are passed away. But usually that verse is used wrongly and people say that we won’t sin anymore. We don’t commit those sins that we committed before now that we’re saved. That’s not necessarily true. Many believers therefore rob to their assurance and they say, well I guess I’m not saved because not everything is new in my life and they still recognize they have some of the baggage of their old nature still with them.

Now we have the power of the Holy Spirit in order to have victory over sin in our life, but the verse really isn’t saying that we won’t have sin anymore in our life, but we do have a sin nature. Paul said in Romans 7 and verse 18, 30 years after he was saved, he says, I know that in me that is in my flesh dwelleth no good thing for to will is present with me, but I had to perform that which is good, I find not.

the good that I would that I do not, but the evil that I would not that I do. So Paul recognized it was a conflict thirty years after he was saved between his old nature and his new nature. But Jeff, thank you for listening in. God bless you. You’re absolutely right. We should be living a life that comes into closer proximity to the standing we have in Christ. When we trust Christ, we’re saved eternally and we’re considered in God’s sight or seen as righteous and we in our actual state are not and yet we ought to try to live in that direction.

We now have Harold and Tampa, Florida. Harold, welcome to Bibleline him. Good morning, sir. How you doing? Good. I got my bags packed, ready to go. I was reading this more than the 23rd and kind of the reflect on what the gentleman would just think. What you just saying? How do you come? Well, you know, every one of us as believers are… are The sheep of Lord Jesus Christ. In John chapter 10 Jesus made some wonderful statements there about this and he talks to the Jewish audience there that did not believe on him and he tells them that they are not his sheep.

But yet the believers are indeed his sheep. Let’s go to John chapter 10 we’ll take a quick look and we’ll see this where he says in verse 26. But you believe not, John 1026, but you believe not because you are not of my sheep as I said unto you. So in the 23rd Psalm, the Lord is my shepherd. We as believers become his sheep, and he leads and guides us, and we should be responsive and follow him. And obviously that’s where blessings come in.

It says in John 1027, my sheep hear my voice. And of course, we hear his voice about how to be saved. Jesus said in John 524, rarely, rarely I say unto you, he that heareth my voice and believeeth on him that hath sent me, has everlasting life, shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death and the life. So when you become a sheep by believing, by hearing his voice and trusting Christ, you will become his and he will become yours.

He says in verse 28, I give them eternal life and they shall never perish. Neither shall any puck them out of my hand. So you become eternally saved once you trust Christ as your Savior. We now have Jimmy and Jimmy is the Nashville Tennessee and Jimmy. Welcome to my land. You’re on the air. How are you doing, Dr. Hank? Good. I’ve been a lot of times since I talked to you. Dr. Hank, I was born to ask you, but I got heard you say that, and I know myself that Catholicism is wrong, but can a person be a Roman Catholic and still be a two born again Christian?

Yes, they can, sure. But they have to be saved by trusting Christ alone and not the church or the sacraments to get them to heaven. Most Catholics trust the Church to save them and the sacraments are not Christ. If you genuinely trust Christ, it doesn’t matter what Church you attend, you would be saved. Do you think usually 9 times I attend, if the person did grow up in the Roman Catholic Church, they did finally get truly born again? Would you say eventually they will probably leave the church once they found out the truth.

Dr. Novat, basically. Well, I would hope that they would. I have led several Roman Catholic priests to Christ, but they have remained in the church. And I think they’re trying as they can, although if they get found out, one of them I think got found out and they moved him to a parish where he had about 10 people to deal with. So they kind of silence you, but definitely priests need to be saved and if they are believing the teachings of the church they will not be saved because there are teachings of the church or works and they need to trust Christ alone, but they all need to be saved and we need to pray for those in different churches.

I was raised in a church where I don’t think anybody was saved in the church I was raised in and we led some to Christ, but we really couldn’t stay there because you can’t really really have freedom to proclaim the Gospel in a church which says that that is a false gospel. And so you need to be in a church where they believe the truth and then you have the freedom to proclaim the truth. Oh, okay. All right, Dan, well, thanks a lot.

I appreciate your answer for me. All right. By the way, we have to say goodbye to our Miami audience. They go off here a little before the other stations, but we’re excited about being on here down there in Miami and we don’t have the full hour yet so you down in Miami if you go to the website you can hear the full program and also you can catch it at any time of day or night that you want. God buy Miami and God bless you all and we’ll catch you again tomorrow.

Now we’re back with everybody else. We’re going to go to Gino in Tampa, Florida. Gino, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, I’m actually calling about a different saying that we either are person saying that’s not true or that’s not actually visible. So, one, I want to find out if this is cool, the Bible is where he says that God comes to three-four plus ten years to live, which is seven. And I want to know if that’s true or if that’s the same, then say I want to hang up and thank you.

All right. Well, it is true. In Psalm 90, God says the approximate length of life for a man or a woman on the surface is 70 years. Three score… Three score is three times 20, 60 plus 10 and that’s three score and 10 at 70 years. It says by reason or strength you might live longer, 80 or more years. And if you have lived beyond your 70 then you’ve been bonest I think some extra years. you might die before that but the approximate length of time for personal live is about 70 years that’s exactly right you know Psalm chapter 90 read it for yourself thank you for that call we now have Kendall and Kendall is in Largo Florida and Kendall welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air I was listening to you speak to someone about Paul talking about how we have to live and

And I think that oneAustral the reason Paul went into that often was because he was speaking to the early Christians and they had lived for so long with the law and so many laws of that they were kind of lost saying okay now what. Okay. And hold on Kendall because we have to go to break here and we’ll come right back and finish up. away. Hold on. We’ll be right back after the short break and do the second half hour of Bible.

I will keep Kittle on hold here. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. All right. I’m Dr. England. You’ll feel like you’re right in the classroom and you can get those if you cannot actually attend the classes. But you can call and sign up in advance. It will be for a cost of $50. That’s a gift to Bible and it will help us keep the program on the year. We’re getting ready to go to Israel. I hope you’ll go with me.

We will be leaving on February 25th, a Monday coming back March 7th Friday will be 12 full days in Israel. We’ll be doing some exciting things. We’re going to go to the top of the Mount Transfiguration. We’ll be there where Peter, James, and John saw Christ as he would be in the second coming. We now have Kendall that has been holding over the break from Margo, Florida, and Kendall, Thank you for being patient and holding on, and let’s continue with our discussion.

Okay, what I was saying was that when Paul was talking about the way they had to live as living sacrifices, I think it’s not just the same thing. I think that he was talking about like as examples to other new Christians the way we still want to live as examples to other nonbelievers. Well, I fully agree with you, Kendall, on that. And Paul spent most of his letters correcting the new believers in how they were living their lives and in the doctrines that they believe.

And if you read first the Second Corinthians, those people really apparently had a lot of problems. And they brought those problems into the church, into the body of Christ as believers. Paul wrote them and listed a number of things that they should not do, that they ought to stop doing and things that they should do, that they ought to be living to please the Lord and be a witness for Him. You’re absolutely right. The other thing that I want to hang up and let you talk about is, you know, You talked so much about how salvation is based on belief and on faith.

I just wanted you to maybe go into the full definition, the full meaning of the Greek word that is translated as the word belief because I know that it’s just more than believing in something like So, exactly. Okay, I’ll do that, Kendall. All right, I’ll hang up in one. Thank you so much. The word belief or belief comes from the Greek word pustu, P-I-S-T-E-U-O. And that word means to trust. That’s the best English equivalent. The word believe in English can mean mean mental assent to historical facts.

And you aren’t saved by just assenting to the historical facts. When I got saved, I had been raised in church. I was confirmed and baptized and demonetized, pasteurized, capsized, sinemized. You name it. I had done all of those things but I wasn’t saved. And you know, when I got saved, I had never ever doubted that Christ lived or that he died or that he died for sins or that he was buried or that he rose again from the dead.

Or that he was not alive today. I acknowledged all those facts, but I was not saved because I had never been taught that I had to trust Jesus Christ and his death that he died for me and came back from the dead and was alive forevermore and that he alone apart from my works and my efforts could save me and would save me what I would trust him. So the Greek word really means to trust. I like to say it like this, Christ died, that’s history, Christ died for me, that’s salvation to make the difference between mental assent and true belief as the Bible expresses it in the Greek word pustuo.

P-I-S-T-E-U-O means to trust. So Christ died, that’s a history fact. I recognize that as a truth, but I did not ever trust Christ until I was 18, and I finally heard the gospel explain. Then I trusted that He died for my sins. And so Christ died, that’s history. Christ died for me, that’s salvation. Well the Greek word, postuo, means trust to rely upon, to put your confidence in, to rest your weight upon, and it’s when you personally put your trust.

and you rest your weight upon Christ is the only means of your salvation that God saves you. Now what is interesting, the King James translators translated to Stu O in the verb form as belief, but they translated the noun form as faith. So this has caused some confusion because some people say I believe but I don’t know if I have faith. And that’s because they didn’t use the same word. You could do this. Faith could be made the noun belief, V-E-L-I-E-F.

So you could say, I have faith or I have belief and it would be the same. But the word believe is the verb where you put your trust in Christ and when you do you are saved through putting your trust in Christ’s Savior which is the noun form as belief or faith. Hope that helps a little bit, but definitely it’s when you personally trust that Christ died for you that you become saved. Thank you so much for that call from Largo, Florida.

We now have John in Eustis, Florida, and John Wilton, you’re on the air. Good morning Pastor Hank. May God continue to bless you in the ministry. I have a question concerning a bishop. Is that biblical for today? What is that? Is it biblical? Yes. What? I missed that sentence. Go ahead. And exactly what is the office of a bishop? OK. Yeah. A bishop is an elder in a church. And of course, the pastor is always an elder by definition.

And there are other men usually that are elected as elders in the church. The Baptist Church have their leaders as deacons, but the deacons in the early church were those that simply were, the word beak is not really a flattering word. It’s a table waiter. And the deacons carried out tasks that were more of the nature of actually He was carrying with the needs of the people and so on. And we’re really not involved with the teaching of God’s Word so much.

And the apostles were freed up to preach the Word and spend the Word and to pray, whereas the deacons were the table-waters and administered to the different needs of the church. So really, in some churches where you have elders, in the baptisters, the deacons would be equivalent of the elder. But basically the structure is basically the same. The leaders of the church are generally the elders. In my church, we have deacons as well. They take care of the offerings and the ushering and the physical properties of the church and so on, whereas the actual ruling body that handles the spiritual needs of the church and charts the direction of the church on the elders.

Okay. Alright, so it is definitely correct then. Yes, absolutely. Yeah, you can read about that in 1 Timothy chapter 3 and also in Titus chapter 1, you We’ll find those terms used and talks about really the elder of the church. Okay. Thank you very much Pastor H. And keep looking up. Jesus says, comment. God bless you. You sure are right. Thank you John. John, I’m used to this floor. It’s up near Ocala floor. We are now going to go to, let’s see, we have here Patricia in Palm Harbor and Patricia welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

The two-part question, number one is what should we, where should we look, biblically in the Bible about choosing our leader at the President and the qualities we need to find in them. And then also my family was all Catholic, highly Catholic. And I’m trying to witness to my sister who’s trying to approach school. And she doesn’t understand that I told her I believe Jesus Christ is my son. as my Savior and she doesn’t want to come to, I also want to know what can I say to a person I’m a person like that, or just keep praying for them, or am I am believed in my, um, believe that, I’m sorry, and let me turn my radio down.

My am believed in my, my am believed that, um, you know, salvation that, um, you know, through the church, masses and things like that, that she can be saved. and I’ll see you next time. And I don’t have the heart to tell her that Uncle Joe is not in heaven because of that. Well, what I’d recommend there is to show them scripture and not overload them with a dozen or a hundred scriptures listed out, but one or two and just ask them to tell you what they think that verse means.

You know, it’s really hard to wiggle when you get somebody to actually look at the verse deal with it phrase by phrase. For God’s love the world John 3 16 what does that mean? Well it means God loved the world. That he gave his only begotten son what does that mean that God gave his son Jesus. That whosoever what does that mean? That means anyone, everyone, anyone that would believe or trust in Christ is the one who receives this offer of God.

That they should not perish because Christ perished in their place but they would have present tense verb eternal life. I think you know I’ve had people tell me well I can’t believe that. I said well you tell me what it believes and when they go phrase by phrase they come up with the same answer and it’s very very powerful and the reason why you want to do that is because the Word of God is living in powerful and sharper than an ancient sword and the Word of God that works whether you recognize it or not and even if the person that you’re talking to says that they don’t believe it, it still works.

It’s God’s Word and it’s alive and so I think if you get them into the Scripture to see for themselves what the Bible has to say, God will use that to bring them to a saving knowledge of Christ. In reference to what we need in the way of leadership as far as the President and for other leaders. A couple of passages I would recommend you read Romans chapter 13, which is a great one, but also first Timothy chapter 2 it says here, I exhort therefore that First of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.

And it says here for kings, for all that are in authority, that we may live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty and so on. And talks about leaders providing peace and tranquility for their subjects and allowing us to have the environment to be able to speak up for God and to proclaim our faith and not to be persecuted for it and so on. America is really based on these principles and we really need saved men, godly men, who would be in the leadership roles of our country.

If we can find such a person, that’s what we are looking for. Thank you Patricia. We sure appreciate your call. I hope that helps a little bit. now going to go to chris and he is in similar for them chris welcome the bible on your own Oh, God bless you, pastor. My question is a little bit of a technical question. Is this relation to Acts chapter 1 where Peter instigates the replacement of Judas with Matthias? Yes. Okay. Then… and then I’m not sure if it’s chapter 20 or 21 it says New Jerusalem’s 12 foundations will have the names of the apostles.

and i was a one of those name is going to be there would be my diet would be out. called no they’re twelve uh… they’ll be listed there and the uh… uh… i think the twelve one is called but that’s uh… that was out of order if you relax one five Jesus instructed Peter and the other disciples and those that were waiting for Pentecost to simply wait. He didn’t say conduct business, elect another disciple or conduct any other business.

They were simply wait. When Pentecost came, the Holy Spirit involved the early church and then we find that God picks out Paul to be the replacement. And Paul had a lot of problems because of what Peter did, which I believe Peter was wrong, And Paul constantly had to defend his apostleship because of what Peter did. And that caused a lot of confusion and caused a lot of grief for the Apostle Paul. For example, in Galatians chapter 1, when Paul begins his letter, he’s defending his apostleship.

He says, Paul, an apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead. So notice he’s making reference, I think, to this election that Peter had there where men elected Matthias. He says, I’m an apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, that Christ himself selected Paul. So I think that Matthias, you never read about him again. That’s the only time his name appears in Scripture.

He did not really become counted as one of the apostles. He just was very short lived in whatever role he played, but Paul became the replacement of Pausach. Hope that helps a little bit. Thank you so much. All right, Chris, Chris in Seminole, Florida, and we’re now going to go to an anonymous caller in Nakeleen, Texas. An anonymous welcome to my line here on the air. Hey, sir, Hari. I got a question coming from Exodus, chapter 30, and they’re talking about the oil to see I know a lot of churches right now, they just take all of them and they’ll pray over it and they’ll put it on people.

But yes, they’ll… We’re talking about 38 oil here, are we a valvaline? I’m teasing with you. Sometimes it gets a little bit ridiculous. You know, oil has always had healing qualities. And so it was like a medicine that they would put on an area that was infected and it not only shielded out the bacteria but all the nuts would kill the bacteria, cleanser wound and aid in the healing. But it says here, upon man’s flesh verse 32, shall not be poured, neither shall you make any other like it after the composition of it.

It is holy and it should be holy unto you. This has to do with the oil that was consecrated for the tabernacle for the worship and wasn’t to be used in that way. So I think that was separate or different. The oil doesn’t heal, but the oil is an AD healing. I think it’s like, you know… For years Vaseline was a great aid in healing as well. And I know people of an older generation swear on kerosene, they put kerosene on their wounds and apparently it works and heals.

These are all medications. That’s a lot of like. And of course many medications include these things in them and are part of the healing process. Thank you so much for calling and we have an update here from Tom who called in from Richmond, Virginia talking about the Thompson new chain reference Bible and how that they have replaced the word Israel in the Old Testament in Isaiah with the word church which is certainly illegitimate and that’s somewhat aligned with replacement theology that the church has replaced Israel, but that he gives us the chapters in Isaiah 41, 43, Isaiah 52, Isaiah 60, and Isaiah 65 if you have the Thompson chain, check that out for yourself, but the word church was not used in the Old Testament.

It is obviously something that had not been revealed and the church began at at the Pentecost and Jesus in Matthew 16 said I will build my church it was still future at The time when Christ was actually here on the earth and once he left and went back to heaven The church began at the Pentecost and the church age will conclude at the rapture and will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and Thank you Tom for that update and and appreciate that.

Some of these Bibles, you know, unless you really are careful and read and check every job and every title, you will possibly be misled by so many. And so many are not reading their Bible carefully when they talk about a passage. And if you read carefully, usually you’ll eliminate the problems. For example, when we were talking about angels, not singing. There is no reference anywhere in the Bible to angels singing. We were sent an email that told us we were wrong that angels did sing in Revelation 15 verse 3.

But if you read your Bible very carefully it says that I will read verse 1 of chapter 15 of Revelation. I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues. in them and filled up the wrath of God. Well, if you jump to verse 3, it says, and they sing the song of Moses. Well, you’ve got to read verse 2. And verse 2 says, I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God, and they sing the song of Moses.

So you’ll notice is the ones who get the victory over the antichrist. These are humans that sing, but the angels don’t sing, but it’s easy if you’re not careful. You read verse one about angels and verse three about singing, and you might assume that. But a careful reading of the text usually eliminates most problems. Most people do not read their Bible very carefully, and this is what Bibleline is all about. Trying to teach people how to read their Bible carefully and to make sure that what you believe is in line with Scripture because the Bible warns us that we need to be careful that we don’t stray away from the Bible.

We began today by talking about Galatians 1 where the people in the area or the region of Galatia had moved away from the pure gospel that they had received unto another gospel, which was a perversion of the Gospel of Christ where things were added or taken away from the Gospel that saves. The true Gospel was that Christ gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us from this present evil world. It’s all about Christ, and our part is to simply receive that salvation by faith.

And then when we do, we become saved. And then of course our choice then is to live the Christian life, which will bring about rewards. the blessings, but salvation is a gift and cannot be lost. You will never be kicked out or lost once you trust Christ and save you. The Bible is very clear. We are at the end of our program today so I don’t think we are going to get any more colors. But again we want to remind you.
