Well, good morning and welcome to Bibleline. Great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning in to the broadcast. We look forward to being with you each and every day. Monday through Friday.

As we come to you live from our studios right here in Tampa, Florida at the Calvary Community Church. Great to be with you. Thanks for tuning in. We sure look forward to being with you and getting a chance to meet you. And if we ever get that opportunity, that would be wonderful. ever come to Tampa please come by and see us here at our studios we’re just a block west of Tampa’s International Airport easy to find and take that extra minute come by and knock on our door that’s right we’re so close to the airport sometimes I feel like I can reach out and slap those airplanes as they go by they’re right there next to us we are that close so if you get further than a block or so from the airport you can know that you’re probably hitting in the wrong direction.

Come by and see us. We have people coming by every day to visit our Resource Center. Open every day till about 4.30. You can also visit that Resource Center online, BibleLineMinistries.org. Clicked on the online bookstore. You’ll see all the different things that we have. We have the Scofield Bible, which is what I recommend. And you want to get the old Scofield, either the 1909 or the 1917 edition. The ones after that have been changed and altered uh… the new skill field homeboy that really does uh…

change a lot of things of course the latest that their soil selling in the bookstore is the hybrid and it’s uh… uh… something you don’t want the uh… many many notes are added that are not that i just go feel if he knew what they have done i’m sure he would be uh… raising his fist and protest and uh… obviously they don’t tell you which notes are not by him and it’s scary. But the Old Stofill, written a hundred years ago, is really incredible.

It’s the King James edition of the Bible, but it’s the notes that are there assembled and edited by Dr. C.I. Scofill that are so powerful and a great, great tool for your understanding of the Bible. We are so glad that you’re with us today. We have just finished first Peter and those 10 hours of teaching on first Peter are available now on CD and We also have a Gospel of John. That was a big one, 21 chapters. We did it in 20 hours of teaching.

We did verse by verse, about an hour per chapter. It’s a wonderful study. A lot of people are enjoying that. It’s also available on CD and DVD. Plus we have the commentary I like so much. Jameson Foset Brown, 3-volume commentary. And that is something that retails for $140, $150. We have it for a gift of $100. And it is priceless. I go through it all the time. It has a comment on every verse of the Bible. We also have the J.

Vernon McGee, 5-volume commentary, beautifully bound, nice coverage of the Bible. He covers every chapter. He doesn’t cover every verse. but he covers every chapter, gets you steered in the right direction. And then the Jameson Foset Brown will take you to every verse. And so between the two of them, you’ll really have a powerful, powerful asset there in your home library. Again, that Jameson Foset Brown retails for 200. We have it for a gift of 100. That is a bargain.

And it is beautifully bound five volumes covering the whole Bible. I hope you have your Bible handy. We’ll be talking about the Bible. We’re going to take our call as you can call us here at 1-800-576-3771. We hope Miami is listening. We know that apparently they took a lightning strike down there yesterday and we’re off the air and we were not broadcast in Miami, but we hope you’re listening today. Call us and let us know what you’re hearing us.

We hope to hear from folks from Miami, the number is 1-800-576-3771. We hope you will call and we will take your question on the air or you can leave it off here if you would like to and we will try to catch it as an offer question. We have got a lot of those. We are leaving for Israel. We will be doing our broadcast from Israel which will be exciting and I hope you will be listening in and you will be able to follow what we are doing every day.

A lot of folks are telling me they want to go on the next trip. So that’s exciting. If you’re one of those, would you call us and get your name on our list so that we can keep you informed? And we hope that you’ll plan to go with us. If you call in and get your name on the list, it doesn’t obligate you at all. But we would love to have you go. And we hope that you’ll go on another one.

And this one ought to be wonderful. We’re excited about it. And we’ll be broadcasting more dwelling from Israel. and you’ll get to enjoy our programs from there. If you have any questions, again, you can call in 1-800-576-3771 and we invite you to give us that call. We are listeners supported, and by the way, the only way we are able to be on the air is because of our listeners who are the ones who pray for and give to Bibleline, and maybe you’d like to be a partner with us.

We could sure use your help, and by the way, you can give a gift by credit card over the phone. the phone or you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent with our address on it and you can mail that gift in. Just give us a call and you can also of course give on the online bookstore on our website as a secure site. You can give a gift there. Thank you again for being a partner with us and praying for Bibleline and we really do the max with what the word provides to us because we don’t pay any salaries.

We send all this money right back out on the airways as we pay the bills for the satellite, for the phones, for the stations that were on, and for the internet. And by the way, I just got correspondence yesterday off the internet from India, from from Scotland, a pastor there trying to say that my blind is wrong, correct me gently. He was a gentleman about it. He signed it with warmest greaves from Scotland. They probably need some heat over there to keep warm.

But we’ll see what the Lord has in store because we’re getting from all over the world, from the Pacific Islands, from Australia, everywhere. People are hearing a Bibleline which is exciting. Well, if you have your Bible there and get it out, we’re going to talk about the scriptures. It’s amazing to me how people just don’t pay attention closely to detail or to even the words that they say. Somebody the other day just said it was all of grace. And then in the next breath he said, you have to basically walk with Jesus to go to heaven.

Well, those are conflict-free statements. They don’t agree. You are saved by grace which means the absence of any works or any action on our part. We simply are saved by receiving Christ. Chapter 4 verse 1 says, this is the book of Romans. Chapter 4 verse 1 says, what shall we say then that Abraham our Father as pertaining to the flesh hath found? Abraham, one of the great heroes of the Bible, what did he learn concerning the flesh? Well it says in verse 2, If Abraham were justified by works, catch that phrase there.

If Abraham were justified by works, he hath where of the glory, but look at the last four words, but not before God, but not before God, but not before God. Abraham learned that his works and his deeds would not bring glory for him before God. How was Abraham saved? Verse 3 gives us the answer. It says, what? Sayeth the scripture. And guess what? quotes the scripture. We have a quote here from Genesis 15, 6, and here it is. Are you ready?

Abraham believed God and it was counted in to him for righteousness. What a great verse. Abraham simply believed. It doesn’t say he believed in God. It says he believed God. He believed what God told him. God gave him the gospel. Abraham believed on Christ. Abraham believed the gospel and was saved. His belief for his faith in Christ was counted for righteousness, Galatians 3-8 says the Scriptures foreseen that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the gospel unto Abraham.

You mean the say Abraham heard about Christ? Absolutely not only that. Abraham got a look at Christ. Jesus says in John chapter 8 that Jesus had appeared to Abraham, Abraham saw him and rejoiced. The The Jewish audience that was listening says to Christ, you’re not even 50 years old, they looked at him and they knew he was young, he was not yet 50 and they said, are you trying to tell us that you’ve seen Abraham? And in John 858 Jesus says, before Abraham was, I am.

In other words, before Abraham was ever born, I existed from eternity past, I’m the eternal God, the God of the universe, the God of creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. And of course Moses and so on. What an amazing statement. Jesus Christ pre-existed all of these guys because he’s God. He pre-exists the creation. He was there before. You know, it says in the beginning, God, God was there before the beginning began. And Genesis 1 and 1. Hope I didn’t lose you with that.

But you know, Jesus Christ is God who came to the earth and took on human flesh and here it says in Romans 4, 3, what’s saying in the scripture, Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness. Abraham was made righteous. Abraham went to heaven simply because he trusted Christ. What is amazing here is this wonderful quote from Genesis 15, is quoted in three separate New Testament books. It’s quoted here in Romans chapter 4, in Galatians chapter 3 verse 6.

And guess what most unlikely place you would think that it would ever be quoted, James chapter 2. That’s right. James chapter 2 where it says Faith is not the worst is dead. Right in the middle of that. To make sure that you the reader understands what James is talking about. He’s not talking about Abraham’s salvation but his Christian life and about rewards being earned by faith that does works, but right in the middle of the passage, James 2, 23, it quotes and says, Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.

Abraham believed and was made righteous. Isn’t that great? Well, there it is. Now, verse 4 says in the Ann Romans, chapter 4 here, now to him that worked is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. In other words, as long as you’re working, you’ll not have grace. And as long as you’re working, as far as salvation is concerned, you’re just going to have your debt increased because your works will not reduce the debt. Works won’t pay for sin.

So therefore, whatever works you do aren’t going to help you one bit, but you’ll still get further into the negative because your works won’t pay for sin. To him that work is the reward not wrecking of grace but of debt. If you were to go down and pay off your credit cards with monopoly money, guess what? They might laugh. They might get a big tickle out of it, but you’re not going to reduce your debt and if you charge anything else or if you have late charges, your debt will increase, won’t it?

Because monopoly money will not pay for your credit card belt. Guess what? Your works won’t pay for your sin. And as long as you don’t have your sins paid for you, continue as a human being related back to Adam with a sin nature to sin and therefore your dead increases. But look at this marvelous verse in Romans chapter 4 verse 5 where it says, but to him that worketh not, but to him that worketh not. That means doesn’t do a single work to someone who does not work Look at all!

Isn’t this amazing to see it in your Bible? I just was shocked as a brand new believer to see this wonderful verse. And I said, that is incredible, but to him that does not work, to him that work is not, but believe it. That means trust on him that is Christ that justified the end God way. That’s us. His faith in Christ is kind of righteousness. Wow! In other words, to the person who doesn’t work, but recognizes that Christ died for his sins and paid for him and puts his trust in Christ, his faith in Jesus Christ is counted for righteousness and he becomes saved.

Isn’t that incredible? Let me read that verse again, but to him that workedeth not, but believeth on him that justified the end, God, let us Jesus. His faith in Jesus is counted for righteousness. That’s the foreman of her salvation. It never changes in any part of the Bible. To be saved, number one, you have to recognize you cannot save yourself. I love the quote by Dr. M. R. Dahan, the founder of the Radio Bible class. Many years ago he said, God will not save a man who is trying to be saved.

Think about it. God will not save a man who is trying to be saved. And then he continued by saying, But God will only save a man who is trusting to be saved. Did you get it? God will not save a man who is trying to be saved, but God will only save a man who is trusting to be saved. My friend, as long as you are trying to save yourself, you will not be saved. You have to come to the place where you realize I cannot save myself.

I need a Savior. And you simply trust in the one who can save you, the Lord Jesus Christ. And when you do, God saves you. Your faith in Christ is kind of a righteousness and it’s to the person who does not work at all. And I know most of Christianity teaches the opposite. You’re going to say, that’s not what my church teaches. Well, guess what? Your church might be wrong. The Bible is right. You’re going to have to finally one day either agree with the Bible and trust Jesus alone to be saved or you’ll find out in hell That you were wrong and maybe your church was wrong.

I Discovered that my church was wrong the night. I got saved. I saw Ephesians two eight and nine And those nine says none of works Salvation’s not of works as they mentioned both and I’ll never forget in my mind. I said somebody’s wrong Somebody’s wrong goodness sakes eat of my church is right the Bible is wrong or the Bible is right and my church is wrong I think you know which way I went I chose the Bible And I’ve been off and running ever since my goodness what a wonderful revelation to see what the Bible says to him That does not work Romans 4 5 But would believe or trust on Christ as Savior the one who justifies them godly his faith in Jesus is counted for righteousness I’m Dr.

Ankerine’s room. We’re gonna go to the phone lines We have lots of callers sitting there waiting and we’re gonna hopefully talk to you the phone numbers one eight hundred five seven six three Seven seven one. That’s one eight hundred five seven six three Seven seven one take our first caller is in the green Grove, Florida, and I’m not really sure where green Grove is The George welcome to Bible Hey, thank you for taking my call. Okay. Not everyone to do it the will of the father Is that the one about the world of father?

No, that’s the one that says, not everyone that says them to me, Lord, Lord, but he that do it. By the way, where is Green Cove? I would miss him there. Anyway, a lot of people get confused with that, but here’s the answer for that. And this is really good. The Bible is so good. The will of God for you to be saved is different than the will of God for you after you become saved. The answer is John 640.

And now let me put this wonderful verse to you where it says in john 640. Um almost the will of him. A7721 talks about the Will of the Father. Here it says. will of him that sent me that. that is the Father, that everyone would see it the Son, or acknowledge it the Son is the better word,, and believe it on Him may have everlasting life. So the will of God forryu as a lost person to become saved is to recognize who Christ is, that He is, you see Him as God, who took on Him and fledged, He is the Messiah, He is the Savior, the Son of God.

And when When you trust in Him, it says here that you would have eternal life. Now after you become saved, the will of God is for you to live for Him and serve Him as a disciple. And that’s a second decision that every believer ought to make. But we become saved by faith. Write that down. John 6.40. Maybe write it in the margin there next to Matthew 7.21. The will of the Father is what gets you into heaven. God’s will for you to be saved is not the same as God’s will for you after you are saved.

To be saved, His will is at you trust Christ. After you are saved, His will is that you serve Him and become a disciple and that brings about rewards. But we are not saved by our service. We are saved to serve but not saved by serving. I hope you get the drift. Thank you so much George for calling in and we are now going to go to John in Brooksville, Florida and John and Brookfield, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air.

Yes, hi Dr. Hank. A thing between Genesis 1-1 was a recreation. That was a good question. Of course the answer to that is that sin didn’t enter the human race till Adam. He obviously was the first human and the first one to sin and pass that down upon the whole human race. But sin obviously began with Lucifer and his fall and in Ezekiel it says that he was perfect until the Nicquities were found in him. So the Nicquity came along before Adam.

Obviously Adam came along and he was very much after Satan was already fallen, it doesn’t make any sense to see it any of the way. We have a fallen Satan before Adam and Eve come on the scene and when they come on the scene he’s there aggressively wanting them to come under God’s curse as well. We believe that sin did exist and the result of sin, the destruction of the earth of Genesis 1 and 2 was the result of Satan’s sin.

came and death reigned, but it says Romans 5, which is the one they always appeal to that this didn’t happen before Adam, but it doesn’t say that. It says it was no death and there was no sin in the human race until Adam came along. I think a lot of them are afraid if you allow for a time frame of, let’s say, thousands or millions of years, that it would lend itself to that you may be heading towards an evolutionary type of model.

I think you panicked and I think they’re scratching for something else. Let me read that verse Romans 4, 12 says, wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin and so death passed upon all men. That’s the point death existed before Adam but it only passed upon men after Adam sin and he brought sin into the human race. That’s the verse they appealed to but I don’t think they read it very carefully. Okay, thank you very much.

You’re most welcome. Thank you John for calling in. saying seem to be a thinker and I think that’s great. We’re going to go to Lester and Lester is on all of that Michigan and welcome from Michigan Lester. Good lecture. Thank you. Thanks for taking my call brother. I have a question on Jonah. You went over this about a week ago. Yes. And I know that Jay Vernon McGee believe that Jonah died in the belly of a whale, and I believe that Jonah died in the belly of a whale, but which verse?

How do we know? For sure that Jonah died. Very easy. Excuse me. Excuse me. Because it says that Jonah prayed to the Lord out of the belly of the fish. Right. You have to look carefully. carefully down. He prayed two prayers. The first was in the belly. He was still alive, gagging and choking. I’m sure on the fact of being submerged. The second prayers in verse 2 of Jonah. It says here, I cried by reason of my affliction under the Lord and he heard me and then it says out of the belly of hell.

The word hell there is shield and the only way to get the shield was to die. That’s in the heart of the earth and that’s the place of the important dead and he went to paradise in the heart of the earth and God heard him out of the heart of the earth. The word belly there in verse 2 is a different word in the Hebrew from the word belly in verse 1. The word belly in verse 2 means a hollow place.

The word belly in verse 1 where he plays out of the fishes belly is the word abdomen. And so it’s completely different. And then of course later it says he brought up my life from corruption. When a person dies, their body goes through stages of corruption and God brought up his life from corruption and that’s a resurrection and Jonah was crucified in a sense buried and resurrected. The perfect picture of Christ as he died was entombed in the fish’s belly but came back from the dead, went back into that body and resurrected and was then cast down on the shore and continued his mission.

We lost our call and he gets in and up to listen to the answer. We’re now going to go to Ben in Zephyrhills and Ben, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, good morning Dr. Hank. You were preaching so good there and your monologue I thought you were getting ready to say slap your neighbor and say you can’t be saved by work. I have a couple of comments and a question. First of all, I wanted to chime in the other day.

There seem to be a lot of callers about Jehovah’s Witnesses. You did say something regarding not letting them into your house. I’m one of those different people that I do let them in my house because I want to try and win them to Christ. person is not mature and please don’t misunderstand me. We appreciate our listening audience so much and you’re the heroes that keep this program on the air as we come to you from Tampa.

Tampa, Florida. Live from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church. We’re on the pastor. Your prayers and your gifts keep Bibleline going. We could not do it without you. And I really do thank God for every one of you. And I thank you in advance for any gift that you might send in today or call in today. As you can give a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also call and ask for an envelope to be sent mail your gift in.

You can also go to the Bibleline website and on the online bookstore, there’s a place where you can give to Bible on it. And we’re excited about what God is doing through Bible on. We’ve just gotten email correspondence from India, from Scotland, from West Africa, from in the islands over in the Pacific, from Indonesia. It’s amazing to me, the people that are finding us and are writing in. This month we had 1400 people that actually watched the 7 minute video at the beginning of my website.

Have you seen that? Right as you begin our website you can bypass that but there’s a 7 minute video that presents how to be saved. And by the way 1400 people just last month viewed that. This is that amazing. 1400. We’ve had 30 something thousand people fail our am I going to heaven test at the beginning of our website and then come right back around and pass it. So apparently we’re getting people saved at the rate of 30 or 50 a day just through the website quiz on how to go to heaven.

That’s really from the track that we have here available for you called Am I Going to Heaven? You could get those tracks in quantities of 100 and they’re powerful. They really lead a lot of people to Christ as they fail to quiz. They become curious as the, what is the right answer? And they learn that it’s Christ. And they trust Christ and become saved. Why not you? Get some of those tracks and also of course I hope you realize that God is using Bible and in a mighty way.

154 countries have logged on and people are writing to us and corresponding and calling us from all over the world. And that’s exciting and we’re looking forward to seeing the Lord do more if He carries and we wait much longer for Christ to come back. But I think we’re getting close. I think the Lord is coming. I think there’s a sense of urgency, at least, that I feel that we need to do what we can do for Christ while we can do it.

The time is still available to us because there’s a day when the Bible says you can’t work anymore. Once we leave this planet, we go to heaven, then you’ll look back and say, I wish I had done more. I wish I had accomplished more. I wish I had put more effort into it. I wish I had invested a few more dollars into the Lord’s work to get the gospel out. And I thank God for everyone of you who do help us because your gifts and your prayers are deeply appreciated.

We’ve got some wonderful notes here just in the past couple of days from people who listen and I really shouldn’t read some of these on the air. They are blessing how much they appreciate Bible and what it has done for them and wonderful emails about how the gospel became clear. got saved and people are now moving forward with their Christian life as a result of hearing Bible. Well, we’ve got Ben who’s been holding it on here and I know that Ben we want to get right back to you.

Thanks for being so patient with us and Ben we’re back to you and let’s pick up where we were. Yeah. Okay, let’s go back where we were and start again. Oh, okay, Dr. Hank, thank you. I was just mentioning about the Jehovah’s Witnesses and how I heard several comments the other day where folks were calling in about that and you were answering a lot of questions. And I had not do invite them into my house because I want to try to win them to Christ.

But they are tough nuts to crack. I believe it was Walter Martin that said that in about five minutes, the average could turn the average Christian into a theological pretzel. And it’s true, they have a track that they run on. Dr. fi when it comes to the Saviour and I know you’re the teacher so I’m not going to take much time here. But in the Book of Isaiah chapter 43 in the new world translation to Jehovah’s Witness Bible it says in verse three for I am Jehovah your God the Holy One of Israel your Saviour.

And there’s other verses in that chapter that talk about Jehovah being the Saviour. And if you turn in their Bible to Acts Chapter 4 under Heaven that has been given among men in which by which we must get saved. And it’s speaking of Christ from verse 10. That’s just one thing that I use, and there’s lots of other ones, but. That’s a gem. I sure thank you for sharing that one with me. And I applaud you for what you’re doing.

For most people though, if they let them in their home, they’re going to be like you said, won’t mark their lemmaking of a theological personal in five minutes. So you need to be, I think, preparing a little bit before they take that on. Yes sir, well I have a question for you on another subject please. I wanted a confirmation, first of all, from 2 Timothy chapter 3 where the scripture talks about in verse 5 having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such a turn away.

way. And then of course it goes on to say, you know, ever learning, never able to come to the knowledge of the truth and so forth. But having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof in verse 5 of chapter 3, I I take that as the power of the gospel, the gospel message. My charismatic friends try to tell me that that’s talking about the Holy Ghost and manifestations and so forth. I don’t believe that it means that.

I believe that it means the power of the gospel. I’m a hundred percent agreement with you there. I would take Romans 1 16 words. I’m pulsing. I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. If the gospel is the power of God. Yes, sir. I have that written down. That’s in my margin. I wrote it down myself. But that’s what I believe. So you would confirm that. Absolutely. I believe that’s exactly what it’s talking about. And one other question, and I don’t have the reference here, but where it talks about Jesus, he will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire.

Now I take that to me, the Holy Ghost, meaning that once you believe that you are baptized into the body of Christ but and fire. Now again my charismatic friends try to tell me that that is Tell me that that is some special purification or some other event that takes place and usually certain during certain meetings and so forth. They’re going to have a fire impartation service. So if they’re going to have something, could you? And could you please answer that for me?

I’m gonna hang up now and listen. All right, thank you Ben and Zivriels for it. Actually, that is hell. And some churches offer the baptism of fire. And I think they really can deliver on that because their message will take you to hell if you obviously are going to trust in works and things that you can do to be saved rather than Christ. But you’ll notice in the very verse, Matthew 3, 11 is where it’s found, baptized with a Holy Ghost and with fire.

So everybody gets baptized by Christ either with the Holy Spirit, which means that you’re saved and you’re placed in the body of Christ. The other is the baptism of fire, which is what happens to the lost. Christ is the baptizer there as well and you’ll notice the answers they’re clearly told in verse 12, whose fan is in his hand and he will thoroughly purge his floor and gathers wheat into the goner but he’ll burn up the chafe with unquenchable fire.

The unquenchable fire there I believe is hell and the unsaved are the chafe and they’ll be baptized with fire. The picture there’s a thrashing floor I’ve seen these in Israel even to this day you’ll see some that’s still far in that primitive way. They’ll gather the grain by hand, they’ll bring it to the threshing floor, they’ll have usually an animal tread on that floor and walk around and kind of break the grain loose. But then they have a guy that will kind of take a pitchfork and throw the grain up in the air.

And if the wind is blowing good it’ll blow away the unwanted chafe and the heavy grain will fall straight to the for his harvest. But if there is no wind, then you got a guy there that has a fan. And he’ll be blowing with that big fan. He’ll up and down motion wave this big fan. And then Billy Guy is throwing the wheat up in the air with his pitchfork. The wind created blows the chase away. Well, Christ will have the fan in his hand.

Christ will clearly purge the floor of any unsaved. They’ll be baptized by Christ with unquenchable fire, which is hell. I think Matthew 3, 11, and 12 make that very clear. You’ve got an option here, no matter who you are, or what you believe or where you go to church, you’ll either be baptized by Christ with fire, which means you’ll go to hell, or you trust Christ. and your baptized with the Holy Spirit and placed into the body of Christ.

We’re going to go now to Chattanooga, Tennessee. We’re a wonderful place to visit. We have Laura on the phone. Laura, welcome to Bibleline. You’re welcome to the program today. Dr. Leastron. Yes, Laura. I’m Laura Halfaker from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Yes, ma’am. I would like for you to explain verse 16 and 17 in 1 John, chapter 5. I’m glad you’re listening up there in Chattanooga. Thank you. All right. And first John, chapter five, beginning verse 16, it talks here about a sin unto death and how that we’re not to pray for somebody who’s committed that sin because our prayers will not change it.

It’s basically where a Christian commits a sin where God will take him home early to heaven because of that sin. Moses committed that sin in the Old Testament. Instead of speaking to the rock, he smote the rock for the second time. What was the picture there? Christ is only to be spent once at the cross to pay for our sins. And here Moses smites Christ a second time and Jesus will never be spent a second time. He was spitting for our sins on the cross and paid our sin debt in full.

And here Moses, because he violated what God told him to do. And apparently, smoke Christ again, or crucified him again, was what the picture is. God decided to take him home to heaven early. He died still youthful, even though he was 120 years of age. His eyesight was 20-20. He had full strength. of you read Exodus 34, tells about it, but yet the Lord let him view the Promised Land from the top of Mount Pishkob stood there where Moses stood, and viewed the Promised Land according across the Jordan Valley, across the Jordan River, and there the Lord took his life and apparently has preserved his body to come back as he will preach again during the tribulation period as one of the two prophets.

But that was the sin and the death, and in the sense of fire committed that sin in Acts by lying about their giving and the Lord smoked them and took them home to heaven early. The man in 1 Corinthians 5 who was living in adultery with his mother, the Lord took him home and yet it says his spirit would be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. If you look at 1 Corinthians 10, 23, it talks about 23,000 Christians taking home in one day because of sin.

Corinthians 1130 talks about because of the Corinthians not getting their life right with the Lord as a Christian. It says for this cause in 1 Corinthians 1130, many of you are sick, many of you are weekly and many of you are dead. So the Lord took a lot of people home to heaven early and that sin unto death will not prevent your death if that happens. So hopefully that answers the question for you and I thank you, Laura, for listening up there in Chattanooga.

I believe we’re on there four times a day. We’re on at 10 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, 10 at night, at 4 a.m. in the morning. And thank you, all of you folks up there in Chattanooga who listen in. We’re now going to go to James in Tampa, Florida, and James, And James, welcome to Bibleline here on the earth. Okay. Yeah, I have a question. As you know, probably that, well, my view anyway is that the Bible is either taken literally or figuratively.

There’s a verse in Luke, chapter 14, verse 26. about hating your father and mother and wife and children? Yeah, what you read that and tell me what you’re talking about. Sure, I’m very familiar with it. Luke chapter 14 is talking about the Christian life. What is interesting here is that the word in the Greek is a comparative term, and it doesn’t really mean that you hate your father and your mother, but in contrast to your love for the Lord, your love for others should be hatred in contrast, and that’s what it’s really saying here.

So you’re not to hate anybody, you love your enemies. But the word there is a contrasting word and it really means, and if you have the skill field Bible, it points that out here. It says… At the bottom of the page of my skill field, all terms which define emotions or affections are comparative. And it says here, natural affection is to be as compared with the believers devoted to Christ as hatred. So our love for Christ ought to be number one and it ought to be such a love for Christ that our love for others would be in contrast considered to be hatred.

So hopefully that helps you with that one. And apparently he’s already hung up and so we’re going to move on now to Don in Treasure Island. Don, welcome to Bibleline you’re on here. He’ll have gone. And I don’t hear Don either. So let me try something else here. We’re going to go to Noel in St. Petersburg. Noel, welcome to Iowa. Oh yes, Dr. Lindstrom. Yes sir. Yes, it’s a pleasure. This is what happened. I’m concerned about an amirons and the fire.

The reason why I said I don’t know if they were to believe it, because Jesus said to them, he did not lie unto man but unto God. So it means that they weren’t filled with the Holy Spirit, would you say? No, I’m not here. They were saved and they were Christians and they were giving money and they sold their property and then they lied about how much of the proceeds from the sale that they gave and as a result the Lord smoked them and took their life.

But they were saved and we’re going to see them in heaven one day and of course they’ll be ashamed for what they did there but definitely they are saved people. So in a sense you ought to feel sorry that they were in embarrassment to the Lord and the Lord had to take them out, but at the same time rejoice in that they are saved and now with the Lord in heaven. Thank you so much. We now have Reni and Reni in Tampa, Florida is calling in.

Reni, welcome to Bible In. Hi, Dr. Lester. This is a good question. Well, I believe you saved probably when it is about 40, maybe just before that. He decided that he was going to serve the Lord and choose to live for God’s people. He took it into his own hands there and he killed an Egyptian and buried him in the sand. Then of course he was banished for 40 years and it wasn’t until he was 80. It got actually brought him back to leave the children of Israel out of Egypt.

He must have been saved at that point. I take it that Moses got saved right around when he was 40 years of age just prior to his killing that Egyptian. I think somewhere right in there he came to know the word as a savior. Thank you, Renny. Now we’re going to go back to Don and Don is in Treasure Island. Don, welcome to Bibleline him. Hello, Pastor. Hey, I’m going to have to go saying that he was inviting Joe over a couple of days to go over a week.

Well, let me just say a word here because actually the word, it doesn’t really mean that. It means you’re not to invite them the word, that means in your fellowship. So let’s say you invite them in your home and you let them preach to your family. That’s a no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. And if you invite them into your church fellowship and you let them preach from your pulpit, that’s a no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

I would be greatly negligent as a pastor if a lot of Joel’s witness come up and preached their doctrine for my pulpit. I think God would strike me down. But as a father in a home and you are the spiritual leader, you wouldn’t want them to come in and preach their doctrine to your family as well. So that’s what it’s really talking about. But if you invite them into witness to them and you don’t give them the platform to preach their doctrine, but you’re telling them how to be saved you’re right on.

So I just want to clarify that so that we get this all straight because the questions keep coming up and it’s because I have a little confusion about what it’s saying there. The word house there means really your household or your or your fellowship whether it be your personal family or whether it be the church We’ll miss if we let them preach to us their false doctor I’m glad to hear you say that But I thought I might want to pass on to your listener something that might be helpful to them sure I like to ask them very normally they’re very familiar with certain passages in their Bible And to show that the Jesus is not Jehovah and he’s created by Jehovah So I normally, I like to ask them, I said, you know there’s some things in the Bible, I don’t understand, I wonder if you could help me, would you, as your

Bible, but there are some things I wonder if you could help me out with. Revelation 1, 8, for example, I don’t understand that. And then when they turn and it says, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, I say, who is that? It’s a little extra hobo. Oh, I see. Oh, thank you for clearing that up for me. And in Revelation 21, 6, I don’t understand that either. And it says there it is done.

I am the alpha, the omega, the beginning and the end. I said, who is that? And they’ll say, that’s Jehovah again. That’s not so hard. Oh, thanks for clearing that up. And then in Revelation 22, 13, it says I am the amount alpha, the omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Is that Jehovah again? Absolutely. You’re beginning to catch on. Oh, you guys are great for helping me out. And I have one more question for you.

In Revelation 1, 18 and 19, it says, and I am either liveth, excuse me, in 17 and 18, I am the first and the last. Is that Jehovah again? Oh yes, that’s Jehovah. And then it continues. I am he that liveth and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. And when did Jehovah die? and you’ll hear the greatest uh… uh… pause and silence and you can answer i’ve got to get back to kingdom hall but i’ll get back to you and you never here from them again well i don’t know if that’s doing any good or not but it’s certainly and prepared uh…

by old memory text that they’ve prepared to show that jesus is not jojoba excellent on us very good and obviously jesus is the uh… alphanimic he is the beginning of the and he’s the first last and uh… he is therefore the same god is that of the old testament and uh… these people are really minded and uh… it’s very difficult to reach about because why they run back to the kingdom hall to get an answer or to be told that they’re okay that they’re say and hands of the kingdom i just wish they would come back but they have to do it now i know i know i know i know I understand exactly how you feel.

I think you have to be tough on them a little bit because you’ve got to shake them up a little better. They’ll think that they’re okay in what they believe and that’s sad, but they are lost. And I like to say they’re Jehovahless and they’re godless for you know, first John 223. If you deny the son, you don’t have the father. So they’re Jehovahless. And in Second John verse 9, if they don’t bite in the doctrine of Christ, they don’t have God so they’re godless as well.

I think that shakes them up a little bit too. But Don, great job. Thank you for sharing that. Thank you, Pastor. All right, Don in Treasure Island. And we got some good witnesses out there that are doing a good job. And we thank you for Ben and for Don who are trying to win witnesses to Christ. And they are tough. But they can be one to Christ. We have Ann and Lakeland, Florida. Ann, welcome to Bible on your own here about a lady mary k backster that said that he took her to hell and you know we’ve got a lot of things to her is that possible to do that now that’s not possible at all and and if she ever went to hell she’d never come back first of all nobody’s in hell is that so she’s wrong theologically because satan in his angels back to twenty four

chapter, rather 2541 says that hell was created forartney as angels. All the lost of mankind are still in Hades, a place of playment torment, and when the millennium is over, and Satan is finally cast into hell in Revelation 20 verse 10, that it says Hades will deliver the dead which are in it, and they’ll be cast into the lake of fire. So if she went to hell, She would have beat Satan there. That’s certainly not possible and she’s totally wrong.

Alright, thank you. So that’s a fabrication and what’s amazing today how many false things are coming up. I say well she goes into detail how Jesus took her and what she saw demons and everything and she says, Jesus took her and I’m like, what do you do that? Well she’s wrong because the demons aren’t there yet and they won’t be cast in until left in the thousand year and of christ and and sate’s not there and hell is empty so if it was a true account she would see an empty hell now he’s a different ballgame but uh…

uh… she obviously has a theology that makes up i would not listen to her anymore thank you and uh… we’re out of time i have another car or two and we got questions off here but we’re just at the end of the program it’s going so quickly sometimes and uh… We’re having fun. I hope you’ll tune us in again tomorrow. I hope again that you’ll consider being a partner with us. We need your prayers and we need your help to be on the air.
