Good morning and welcome to Bible Ang. Great to be with you. Thanks for tuning in to the broadcast. We appreciate you and all of our listeners as we come to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor.

Money’s here Friday and we hope you’ll listen as often as you can and if you cannot catch the program live, you can always go to the internet and catch it in the archives. Go to our website, bivalionministries.org and click on that spinning globe and you’ll catch our radio programs. Click on the TV set, you’ll catch our television programs. Click on the camera and you’ll catch our worship services and we have a year’s worth of service sitting there for you to watch and listen to.
And they’re sitting there. If you click on the camera at 11 o’clock Sunday morning, you’ll actually get the live service. Otherwise during the week you have a year for the sermons sitting there waiting for you to take a look at. We just finished teaching 2nd Peter here, 10 hours of teaching that’s available now on CD and on DVD. If you’d like to get that series it was a good one. And also we have 1st Peter already, 10 hours of teaching on 1st Peter.
And then just prior to that we did the Gospel of John, 20 hours of teaching and it’s in two parts, part one of John, 10 hours of teaching, part two, 10 hours of teaching. This is a verse by verse exposition of the Gospel of John and also 1 Peter and 2 Peter. So we’re excited about bringing these presentations to you and making them available to maybe facilitate a Bible study, a Sunday school class, a home study, or your personal study, or just as you drive in your car to and from work to be able to listen to the teachings on the different topics.
We have about 40 of these all ready to go, including the Book of Revelation, the Book of Daniel, the Book of Romans, the Book of Hebrews, the Book of Jude, and so many more. On topics we have the Holy Spirit, the Rapture, a huddly soul to Christ, parables, and many other teachings. I think you’ll find very, very helpful and very exciting. We’re going to turn in our Bibles to the Book of Acts. If you have your Bible there, you might want to turn with me and take a look at a couple passages and we are going to turn to Acts chapter 13.
If you have your Bible there, it will be on page if you have a Scofield Bible on page 1167. Here in Acts chapter 13 it says, be it known unto you, therefore, men and brethren, that through this man, referring to the Lord Jesus Christ is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. Now it’s interesting here that the previous verse tells us that he is the one that God raised again from the dead and that his body did not corrupt or return back to the elements.
Jesus Christ came back for the dead, he’s alive and beaten under you therefore men and brethren that through this man, the Lord Jesus Christ, has preached unto you, not church membership, not water baptism, not confirmation, not mass or penance or some other thing, but has preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. And then in verse 39 we have this marvelous verse that tells us how your sins can be forgiven. It says, by him, all the belief, all the belief, all the belief, anyone, everyone is invited to come and take of this salvation that God offers.
And it says here all that believe and the word believe means to trust. The Greek word is pestuopistu-o-p-i-s-t-e-u-o. And it means to trust or rely upon to put your confidence in to rest your weight upon. By Him that is the Lord Jesus Christ, the one that God raised from the dead. It says here is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins and by Him that is the Lord Jesus Christ. All that believe or trust are justified, that means declared legally righteous in God’s courtroom in his court of law.
God declares righteous. That is, He declares you as though you had never sinned in your entire lifetime. Isn’t that incredible? See What God has done here, He declares the believer in Jesus Christ as though He had never sinned. Some like to remember the word justified as just as if I had never sinned, just as if I had never sinned, justified. And it means to declare righteous in God’s courtroom of law. By Him, by the Lord Jesus Christ, all to believe, all that trust Jesus Christ are justified, declared righteous from all things.
From all things, that means any and everything that you would ever do wrong in all of your life. Every bit of it was paid for by Jesus on the cross and you are justified from A.L.L. Sometimes people tell me, well, you don’t know what I have done wrong and they have some sin that they don’t want to confess, but it is some sin that weighs heavily on them and they feel like they can’t be forgiven. Guess what? Not true, not true.
The Bible says here that all by Him, all that believe are justified from all things, A-L-esm. And it says from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. In other words, by the law of Moses you could never be justified before God. Yet there are those who say you have to keep the Sabbath and that’s a part of the law of Moses. That’s part of the Ten Commandments. And if you’re attempting to be saved by the commandments you’ll not be saved in.
says here, these things will not justify you, they’ll not take away your sin. It says here from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. And then in verse 40 it says, be where? Be where, therefore. Amazingly, that’s a warning sign. If you go up to a person’s home and they have a sign on the fence that says, be where? I think you’ll be looking around for a big dog, won’t you? Or something. Look out. Or if you come to an electrical box or transformer where it says, be aware.
Usually, it will say high voltage. You want to look out. You don’t want to get electrocuted so you pack off. Be aware. Be aware. And obviously, we need to be aware here that if you do not trust Jesus Christ, as your only hope of heaven, you’re not going to make heaven. And that is tragically the case for everybody that is not trusting Christ to be saved. They will be in deep trouble. And it says, less that should come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets.
And that is the prophets told that a person who would die without the Messiah would perish. And I say in chapter 66, He says, their soul would never die and the fire would never be quenched. That’s hell, my friend. And Jesus picked up on that same truth in Mark chapter 9 and he said three times in a row that hell is a place where the soul will never die and the fire will never be quenched. The soul will never die and the fire will never be quenched.
Well, I’m afraid there are a lot of religions like the Seventh-day Adventist and the Joe’s witnesses that teach that the wicked dead are annihilated. But the Bible doesn’t teach them. The Bible teaches the soul will never die and the fire will never be quenched. Well those people are going to be in for a surprise, aren’t they? They think, well, I guess if they’re lost they won’t be too bad off because they’ll just be annihilated. That’s not the case, my friend.
He will exist forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and you will be in a place where your soul will never die. The Bible says there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Can you imagine? Enduring pain forever and ever and ever. I just can’t imagine it myself. But yet the Bible teaches it and I have to believe it and that’s what I preach. Because let’s say, oh Lord, that’s what God says. What a great passage here.
We have in Acts 13. It says here, be it known known unto you, therefore. and But therefore reminds us of what it said before, and it is that Jesus Christ died And to pay for our sins, fulfilled all the prophecies concerning His first coming. And And Just a little bit earlier, it says over in chapter 13 of the book of Acts where we have And been studying, it says here, Men and brethren, verse 26, children of the stock of Abraham, And And Jewish audience here, and Gentiles, whosoever among you that pureth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
For they that are Jerusalem and their rulers because they knew Him not! Nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every Saturday, every Sabbath day. They have fulfilled them in condemning him. That is the prophecies had told that Christ would be condemned and they fulfilled those prophecies in condemning Christ and crucifying him. And it says they have fulfilled those prophecies in condemning him and though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they powed that he should be slain.
And when they had fulfilled all, when they had fulfilled all, when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree or the cross and Lady Minnessep and Lady Minnessepica, but God raised him from the dead. God raised him from the dead. Jesus Christ came back alive from the dead. And then it says in verse 31, and he was seen many days of them, which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
Jesus Christ came back from the dead, and he was seen that many days, forty days to be exact after his resurrection before he ascends back up into heaven. And it says, we declare unto you good tidings, glad tidings, how that the promise which is made under the fathers, God have fulfilled the same unto us, their children, in that he raised up Jesus again. So it says, be it known unto you therefore, verse 38, be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren that through this man Jesus Christ the one that was crucified, the one that was buried, the one that was risen again from the dead is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.
You want to have your sins forgiven? Well the Bible says by Him that is the Lord Jesus Christ, all the believe that word means to trust or rely upon to put your confidence in to rest your weight upon. All the believe, all the trust are justified that is declared righteous in God’s courtroom of law. From all things, that means every sin, everything that you could possibly do wrong in your entire lifetime was paid for by Jesus Christ and all those that believe or trust on Him are justified from all things.
And then it says from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. And then it says verse 40, beware. Beware that you don’t perish without Christ. Beware that you don’t die without trusting Christ as your only hope of heaven. Because if you die without Christ my friend you’ll be forever and ever and ever lost. I’m so glad I found that out. I was raised in church, I was confirmed and baptized, homogenized, pasturized, capsized, Simonized. And I feel sorry for people that are attending church just like I did.
Never heard the truth. Never knew that this wonderful message that the Bible taught was that Jesus paid it all, that I had nothing to do but to trust what Christ had done for me. When I trusted Christ as my Savior, I received the wonderful gift of everlasting life. Wow, that was truly good news. I hope that you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior. If you haven’t, then my friend just don’t die. Just don’t die. Because as soon as you die, you’ll be a believer, but it’ll be too late.
be in hell. Everybody in hell believes on the Lord Jesus Christ. Everybody in hell believes in hell. Everybody in hell believes every word of the word of God. They believe the whole Bible is true and certainly they don’t deny the existence of hell and they don’t believe that you’re saved by keeping the Sabbath or by any other good works or keeping the commandments. These things cannot justify you, but it says in my Bible in verse 39, by him that is Jesus, all the believe, all the trust, all the trust are justified, declared righteous from all things from which the law of Moses could not justify him.
You can never be saved by the law. You can never be saved by works. You can never be saved by your efforts. You can only be saved by what Christ did for you. I hope you’ve done that. I hope you’ve trusted him as your Savior. There’s no greater news than this news that we just shared with you That’s Acts 13 in particular, verse 38, 39, and 40, but the whole chapter is certainly well worth reading and studying. That marking up, it’s a great chapter that really just outlines the whole story of the coming of Christ and how He fulfilled the prophets and the prophecies that they gave about His death, their own resurrection, and that He came back from the dead.
Just as He said, was seen of many and then of course went back to heaven. all that put your trust in him are justified from all things. I’m Dr. Anker-Anker, we’re going to go to the phone lines. The phone number here at Bibleline is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. We’d love to hear from you and you can give us a call and we’ll try to answer your question. We also have a number of offer questions. We’ll try to go ahead and the Get to those questions and try to answer them for you.
Again the number here is 1-800-576-3771 and give us a call and we’ll try to get your question answered. And I hope that you’ll give us a call right now. We have Linda on the line and she’s calling in from Dunedin, Florida, and Linda, welcome to Bibleline, you’re on there. Hi Dr. Hank, it’s Linda from Dennings. Well good morning. How are you? Good. I have a question for you. Have you? Excuse me, have you heard of the book, The Sign?
I don’t think I have. There’s so many books out there, it’s hard to keep track of it, Marl. What is it about? The author was Marvin Rosenthal. Okay. And talking about pre-wrap. Yeah, I disagree with Marvin Wrizenthof completely. I saw his earlier book and he believes that in a pre-rath rapture where the believers will go through most of the tribulation and be raptured out maybe six months before the end of it, before the bold judgments, the wrath, the intense wrath of the last judgments, it’ll be poured out and it totally disagree I think it’s wrongly dividing the word.
We are the brine of Christ, and the brine of Christ is not going to go through one minute of the tribulation period. Once we’re taken out of the rapture, then the last seven years of the Old Testament take off the clock, and that’s Daniel’s 70th week. The seven years of tribulation the Bible tells us, which are really the last seven years of the Old Testament, we’re on Jewish territory. the Rapture happens and the Church is no longer here. In the book of Revelation we see chapters two and three letters of instruction to this Church age and actually give us a prophetic picture of the past two thousand years of church history.
But then in chapter four verse one we have a picture of the Rapture where John hears a voice that’s like Christ’s voice which it is and it sounds like the sound of a trumpet and the voice has come up hither. John is caught up and he’s told he is now going to be showing the things which are here after and we believe that begins the tribulation period on earth and the events that will take place in heaven for Christ to come back and you’ll notice if you read carefully the book of Revelation the church is no longer mentioned in the book of Revelation because why?
It’s taken out and as soon as that voice is heard and John has caught up a picture of the church being raptured out, then you have got unfolding what will take place during that seven years and it’s quite clear that it talks about two periods of 42 months or two periods of 460 days which are clearly a total of seven years of tribulation and the church is gone. The church is not here. So I thoroughly disagree with Marvin Rosenthaw in his book on the pre-Rath Rapture.
Okay, I can ask another question. Sure. But the seals, do you believe that we’re going through the first three seals right now? Absolutely not. The seals haven’t even begun. The seals won’t be broken until after the Rapture. If you read Chapter 4 verse 1, John is caught up. That’s the Rapture. And then it’s not until Chapter 6 that we see the seals open, and I think they open right at the very beginning of the tribulation period. And the first four seals are fulfilled in the first three and a half years of the tribulation period.
And the last three seals are then broken during the second half of the tribulation period. And seal number six is the Battle of Armageddon. Seal number seven is the second coming of Christ. And none of the seals have been broken yet. Alright, thank you. Alright, you’re sure welcome. And amazingly, a lot of people just don’t get the chronology of the book of Revelation right and they don’t get the picture that the church doesn’t go through any of the tribulation period because again they don’t separate between the Gentiles and the church and the nation of Israel.
God has a plan for the Gentiles and the Bible talks about the times of the Gentiles that began with Nebuchadnezzar that will continue right up until the end of the tribulation period. And then it talks about the fullness of the Gentiles, which is the rapture when the Gentile church age ends and we’re taken out. And then it talks about God will resume his program for Israel and that Israel then will up. . . . . . . He said, Be evangelized and many millions will be saved and they will receive Christ as their king.
Christ will come back and set up His files in your kingdom here on the earth. But we don’t belong in the true relation period, not for one minute. Thank you, Linda, from Dunedin. And we now are going to look for your call, 1-800-576-3771. And we have anonymous from Tampa, Florida, saying, In your personal opinion, do you believe Jesus will return before five years. Well, I don’t know if my opinion means anything, but I think we’re very close. I would be surprised if he weren’t back in five years, but again, that’s just an opinion.
I’m not at each center. I believe we’re close. I don’t think we can set a date, but we can certainly say he’s coming. And every day that I look at the paper, I say it’s got to be more, it’s going to be sooner than we can probably imagine. Who knows? might come this year. I don’t set dates but I do believe Christ is coming quickly. We’re going to go now to Jack and Jack is calling in from Jacksonville, Florida.
Isn’t that interesting? So Jack, welcome to violin. You’re on the air. Yes, sir. Thank you. My daughter is ill with a severe nosebleed and had tubes inserted. And when I stopped by to see her last night, she said that two people have told her to read scripture from the Bible. She did not recall what book it was. But to read this scripture six times about a nosebleed and it would stop. Now I told her that sounds like a potion to me and there’s no potion scriptures in Well, I thoroughly agree with you, and I think that’s something that’s more like magic or a potion or not biblical.
I would dismiss that and not go in that direction at all. A lot of people are going in those kinds of directions, and we have some really craziness going on out there in the signs and wonders and healing movement. I was just checking out this Lakeland thing where we have this guy getting a lot of publicity and Turns out for what I read on the internet yesterday that he’s a convicted child molester by less than a seven year old boy and spent 18 months in prison for that and It is favorite musicians and groups are really say TANN groups and he’s covered with tattoos and eye piercings and other piercings or eyebrow piercings and Doesn’t seem to want to cover them.
You know the Bible forbids any cutting or markings on your body and not supposed to do that. And wow, we have a movement today that’s claiming itself as being Christian and that Christ is doing these healings and yet it’s so foreign from the Bible when the music and the apparent picture and the one doing the presentation seems to be obviously the opposite of what the Bible teaches. Yeah, yeah. Scary. Yes, it is. and we should use every opportunity to be a witness and point out to them that it’s not from the Bible.
Amen, well, I pray that your husband will get better in. Yeah, sir. And that she will not look in that direction for that kind of healing. Right, thank you very much. You’re very welcome. Bye bye. All right, we called her Jack, I think. Her name is Donita. Thank you, Donita, for calling in from Jacksonville. All right, we want you to call it 1-800-576-3771. Let me say hi to Miami and say goodbye to Miami. It’s Miami. It signs off a little bit early, but we’re down in Miami, Florida on 1080WMCU.
And we look forward to being with you every day, as well as all our other audiences. And thank you for tuning in. Let me just say to all of our listeners, we do have a financial need. I hate to talk about money. But we have to pay the stations and in order to do that, we need our audience to help us out. We don’t have another means of support. We really could use your help this week. Would you consider giving a gift to Bibleline?
And I know that it’s an investment that God will really bless because we’re seeing God do great things. I just got an email from Uganda, an email from India. I mean, I’m getting people from all over the world that are writing us because of the Internet. And we have many that call us from all over that are being blessed. The Bibleline programming is so maybe you could call in and give a gift and help us make sure we can keep all these stations on the air and keep reaching out as we are.
And your gift would be greatly appreciated. Just call the 1-800-Number and say I’d like to give a gift to Bibleline. Or ask for an envelope to be sent with our address on it, mail your gift in, or you can go to the internet and give there securely on our online bookstore. store. We can sure use your help and I hope that you’ll consider giving a gift to Byblind. We’re going to go now to Philip and Philip is in Tampa, Florida.
Philip, welcome to Byblind here on the Earth. Good morning, Dr. Hank. I have a question. First I wanted to know I’ve been doing some studying Mylesstampers and I wanted to know if you know him or about a teaching, it’s strictly great. And also my other question was about, I heard you talking last week or something about that a lot of the spiritual gifts like speaking in tongues and prophecy and those have been done away with and i want to know where’s the scriptural business for that and i’m going toachel happen with you all right well Miles Stanford, I think, is a hyper-dispensationalist.
I’m not too sure I sometimes get different people mixed up. There’s so many out there to keep track of. But as far as the spectacular gifts, they were temporary nature. In 1 Corinthians chapter 13, 8 through 10 tells us that they would cease when the Word of God would be completed. The New Testament record that which is perfect came and was completed. Around the year 80-96 when the book of Revelation was added to the Bible. And so that’s the end of those gifts.
They’re God. And there’s nobody doing them today, not one, not one. Got a run. We’re going to take our break. We’ll come back and do a second half hour Bibleline. So keep your radio tuned right where it is and stay tuned. and I’ll be right back after this short break and we’ll do a second half hour. Thank you, Philip.
Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And I’m Dr. England. It’s great to be with you and thank you so much for tuning in today. And we appreciate you and all of our listeners. It’s exciting to get to meet you folks whenever we get that chance. God bless you. Thank you so much. We appreciate all of you who pray for and give the Bible because you’re the ones who keep us on the air.
We hate to talk about money. If I had enough money, I would just never mention it and just pay all the bills myself. But I don’t. Obviously, God has planned it this way so that we have a partnership where God is going to reward you as you invest in this ministry and keep it on the air and I believe we’re going to share equally in the benefits and results from whatever Bibleline is accomplishing. And I think that it’s a great partnership.
You know Paul said in Philippians 4 17, not that I desire a gift, but I desire a fruit that may have bound to your account. When I first saw that verse I lit up, it just changed my whole mind about giving. I said, wow, every time I give a gift, I’m investing in eternity. I’m investing in the things I’ve got and there’s going to be treasure in heaven. Can you imagine what Paul just said there? He says, I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
So as you invest in a ministry like in those days Paul’s ministry, the fruit that Paul won to Christ would be accruing to your account in heaven. I think what a deal. If I was living back then I think I’d work then just to keep Paul’s ministry going. Because, wow, the fruit that he bore was fantastic and I’d love to have that on my account when I got to heaven one day and that I believe is what’s going on here with Bible and as well.
I believe we’ll share equally and as you give and pray for Bible and God is going to reward you just as much as those of us that are actually here in the Bible and headquarters producing this program and sending it out to you. We’re excited about all that God is doing and I hope that you’ll get excited with us and help us. We certainly could use your help. We need that because of the time in which living I guess with our economy going down a little bit, we need Christians to step up and give a little bit more because of the deficit, because of some not being able to give.
So would you help us? Would you send a gift or would you call in and give it by credit card over the phone? I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and we’re excited about reaching out to many different areas including the emails we’re getting from the Bibleline. A program getting out through the interment to 156 countries around the world. We154 got an email from Uganda, from Kampala, Uganda. All over the place, people are contacting us. We’re going to depart to you right now.
When you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question, You can just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771.wcsstore-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back for now breaking. enthus is Bible and it’s wonderful to be able to be with you and we thank you for listening, for tuning in from wherever you’re listening today to Bibleblem. And you’re welcome to call us on our 800- number 1-800-576-3771. and bring your question to the table and try to get it answered for you and give you a trick to answer right out of the Bible.
Boy, I remember as a brand new believer wishing that I had a source to answer my questions. I was so full of questions and I just didn’t have an answer man to call. I just didn’t have anybody to go to, but I went to the Lord and obviously threw a lot study and patiently waiting for God to answer my questions. A lot of my questions got answered and therefore I’m able to answer a lot of your questions because I have had so many questions myself.
I think God has used this to prepare me to be able to answer your questions here on Bible. We’re just excited as it could be to be able to be with you. Meet some of you. I have people tell me every day many that listen every day and they just say that They’re learning so much. One person told me they learned more in 30 days of Bibleline than they had in 30 years in their church. What I just don’t know what to say.
It just tells me that the churches are not doing their job if that’s the case, at least in that particular church that they were attending. They must not have been getting much Bible at all. But we’re glad to be able to point you to the Bible, give you answers so that you can get things in perspective and move forward. I hope everybody listening is trusted Jesus Christ and Savior. We certainly could use your help. It’s a time in our country when our economy is slumping a little bit in order that we might keep every station on the air and not have to cut back.
We are on a holding pad right now, but we just need your help to make sure that we can pay all the bills. So if you think about giving a gift today or this week to Bibleline that would be so helpful, would you call in and call our operators and say, I might be giving gift to Bible? They can do it by credit card over the phone or they can send you an envelope with our address on it. You can mail it in or if you prefer, you can go to our online bookstore on our website and that’s BibleLineMinistries.org.
Go to the online bookstore. There’s a secure place there where you can give and help Bible it. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have Amos down in Miami, Florida and Amos. Welcome to Bibleline. We’re glad that you’re able to hear us down there in the Miami, Florida area. You’re on the air. Amos, you’re on the air. Hello, Amos. Amos, I don’t hear you. You hear me? Go ahead. You’re on the air. My question was that in the Book of Revelation, it lifted about the seventh seal that once…
Well, I think that the seventh seal is the second coming of Christ. I think if you study carefully in the Book of Revelation, which I’ve taught at numerous, numerous times, and you’ll find that the sevens all line up as the second coming, the sixth coming, the sixes all line up as the battle arm again. So the six steel, the six trumpet, the six-bowl judgment are all the same event and they are the battle arm again and all the sevens are the second coming.
Then you have to spread out the others over the whole period of time and it seems like they’re like an overload. The seven seals sweep the the whole seven years, the seven trumpets are only during the second half and then the seven vile or bold judgments are probably in the last six months of the tribulation period. And when you overlay them, you see the total picture of all the judgments, there are 28 specific judgments that will be poured out during the tribulation period.
Seven sealed judgments, seven trumpet judgments, seven thunder judgments, and seven bold judgments, 7-4 28-28 really bad judgments poured out on the earth through the tribulation period. Now another… I have another, another thing also. Are those the seven fields that we’re talking about? The trumpets are the seven trumpet judges. Is that the seal judgments? And there is no period of silence before the seven seals. The silence is before the seven trumpets. So you ought to get my series on the book of Revelation.
I have it on CD and you’ll find it very helpful. helpful. I have had people from all over the country use that to teach a Bible study. They invite a group of friends over and play maybe one CD or part of a CD and have group discussion and refreshments. And they found it a very effective time of learning the book of Revelation or do it just with you and your Bible. But I have that series. It’s the most popular one I think we have here at Bible and Headquarters is the book of Revelation.
So can I call back at this number and just go ahead and order that? Absolutely. No, we’ll send it right out to you. Sure. Okay. Thank you very much. You have a wonderful day. You too, Amos, Amos, in Miami, Florida, and we now have Dallas. and that was the same time before that that was welcome to buy one year a how you do about that good yeah i want to make a comment on that revival thing it’s been like that and to go there he told me about it and i told him that was the new age revival the same as a new age church and all that uh…
this music and stuff that you made a comment on god gave satan beautiful water and doesn’t have to be wrapped up off of music but that satan can can just woo you in any kind of music that he’s a woop that he chooses if you go back to bible it tells you that satan has a beautiful voice he was a beautiful angel had a beautiful voice well i think you’re absolutely right mmm the devil uses uh… like it says in the second graders eleven three by any means or by all means In other words, Satan uses every tool that he has in his workshop to try to deceive and blind the lost and keep Christians from recognizing what’s really going on.
That’s right. I believe this movement is going on today as a false movement. I believe that Jesus said in Matthew 24 and the last days it would be false preachers doing signs and wonders and they would be so clever at it that they would deceive many of the very genuine elect the very believers of the last days but he amazingly said in verse 25 of Matthew 24, I told you before it happens so that you don’t get to see it but yet people aren’t reading their Bible and realizing that Christ gave us two thousand years warning for what we’re seeing happen right now and they’re not paying attention to the Bible so they’re not seeing it as being false.
Right, they’re not reading what they should be reading, they’re reading other stuff and believing and listening but most of them are listening they’re not reading they’re listening to some of these people sell God on TV if you don’t want to be a yeah i you know people tell you about all the books that they read as it was the last time we read your Bible will be having they read books about the Bible but they don’t read the Bible i mean that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense when you just sit back and think about it for a minute obviously why do you read all the books about the Bible and you can read the Bible itself right exactly that’s one of the main book you should read a man but i think you have a blast bank you to think that i appreciate your call
that was not something before we’re not going to michael and michael is in you to get new york and uh… michael welcome to buy one year but good morning dot mister good morning uh… i was wondering i had you use the uh… the analogy of of the boat as a plan of salvation actually getting into the boat. I wasParentsWondering, does that constitute work by me actually getting into the boat? Could I just believe, knowing the fact about a boat, that it will hold me without actually getting into the boat?
And I’ll hang up and I’ll look at you at one o’clock. Okay, well Michael, all our illustrations have weaknesses I think, but it’s clear that in my illustration of the boat that I’m just getting across the point that you have to trust the boat to hold you up in order to be trusting the boat by definition. So to be trusting Christ, you have to not be trusting anything else. You have to cut all other lines of support. Let’s just say that you were sitting out in my congregation and I were to ask you the question as you sit on the pew.
Are you trusting the pew that you’re sitting on to hold you off the floor and A and you would say yes but then if I look more carefully Michael and I would look out there’s a thin wire that’s attached up to the roof rafters and there’s a safety harness locked around your your chest about an ear midsection I would have a tendency to say you’re not trusting the pew at all you’re really trusting that well safety harness you’re wearing and the fact it’s connected to this raft rafters in the roof structured to hold you up should the pew failure.
So in other words, to be saved, you have to trust either the pew hold by itself without trusting some safety wire or you have to trust the boat without a rope or without a float or without your hand on the dock or something else to be holding onto. You just can’t all tie. It’s like the ninth thief who could do nothing. But simply look over and trust Jesus as his Savior Christ told him today, now shall be with me in paradise.
Good point, but there’s really nothing we can do. The Bible says he feeds his to eight, salvation is not of yourself. And in verse nine it says, not of works, lest any man should boast. And then it says in verse eight, by grace. And grace, by definition, is the absence of any work or any merit on your part. So it’s purely of grace, not of works, and illustrations all seem to fail somehow, but the Bible is very clear that salvation is a gift and not by works, and there’s nothing that we do but receive it.
Let me go now to Steve down in Sarasota, Florida, and Steve, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. How are you doing today? I’d like to ask you where in the Bible I forget. You mentioned it another time, but where the theory of relativity is. It’s one of the pro and little comments that people, you never know when your last day is. Get some Bible clacks from Bibleline or make your own up if you can’t get them and pass them out.
And you can help Bibleline to get the word. Help Bible on to get the word. I didn’t do it because you’ll find it’s very rewarding, very satisfying to get a couple thousand facts if you’ve never got that many and have them available to everybody, strangers and family and friends. I just want to encourage everyone to get out and do that because a lot of people have these bad facts with works on them and that’s why I encourage you to get Hank’s and just go ahead and try to make a difference in the world because you really can.
can and i guess that the thing about the internet and i get the word out really pre-heated ministry still through the years thank you steve and steve answer so you know the bible tells us that well as hundreds of scientific facts in the bible and it’s amazing that they are there prior demand ever knowing about them you know what the steve was mentioned i think is in german ten twelve where the bible tells us that god created his created the universe out of his energy.
And that’s the same as Einstein coming along and telling us about E is equal to M.C. Square. Because their God is telling us that energy was converted into matter when God created the universe. And Einstein was about 3000 years too late and telling us what the Bible already said. Those things obviously caught my attention because science was my God prior to my getting saved. I went on to graduate in electrical engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and science was always my thing.
And when I saw how the Bible told incredible, fantastic, scientific facts long before man ever knew them, I realized that God had to be the author of the Bible. And that’s one of the things that the Bible tells us, that God said he would tell us things before we would discover them, before we would ever know them, and the fact that the Bible is accurate concerning all these things and doesn’t contain scientific error and mistakes. Tells us that this book has to be indeed the word of God.
We’re now going to go to Jacksonville, Florida and we have Curtis on the line. Curtis, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Pastor. Good morning. This morning, the first time I call you, I call you with a trouble spirit. Yes, sir. It’s the brother that I’ve been going to church with. I’d like to say that I’m just a two-year convert, and I know I don’t know everything. But he told me that he believed that, you know, the God, Jesus died, the brother rectified sins.
But he didn’t have the thought that, if you go out there and live like the devil, that God will send you to hell. And I’ve been for two nights showing him the scripture and the Bible. I even gave him your CD on how permanent is your salvation. And my question is… If he truly saved, if he saved, then I just got a stumbling block. Well, I don’t keep the lambs look of life, but it doesn’t sound like he saved because he’s really saying you’re saved by your works.
You have to live a certain lifestyle, live the Christian life, faithfully, to get to heaven. That’s all about works. he doesn’t see the difference. So I would question really his salvation. And of course, it is true that no matter what you do, you will go to heaven. But it’s not true that you can live as you please because God will spank or chasten the delinquent believer. That’s throughout the Bible. And you see that very clearly in Hebrews chapter 12 in verse 6 where it says, whom the Lord loves?
He chastens or disciplines every son whom he receives. So So when you’re receiving the God’s family about a new birth, you now have a heavenly father for the first time that’s going to take care of you when you get delinquent and he knows how to do it. I’ll tell you. Well, like I told him, I said Paul even said his life is open to every avenue, but he said all the avenues are not expedient. Well, that’s exactly right. Paul said that all things are lawful for me, but all things are expedient.
So not a smart thing to live as I please, but he’d Paul and say I could do anything in it I would still be saved because eternal life is God’s gift and it’s not based upon our behavior, it’s not based on our conduct, it’s not based on our obedience, it’s based on the conduct and the obedience and the behavior of Jesus who was absolutely sinless and it was his life that was substituted for us that made eternal life possible for us as a gift as he purchased it by giving and exchanging his life for ours at the cross.
I expose him to all that and maybe he just stuck on that one particular passage that he, you know, that our Christian go to hell. I said no. There’s no way. Nope. Once you trust Christ, you’re stuck. You have to go to heaven when you like it or not. So just to begin reminding, just keep chipping away. John 637, John 639, Christ promises not to lose any. He promises not to cash out anyone for any reason that has come to him.
So once you’re saved your his and obviously this fellow is preaching his own message. That’s not biblical. That’s not what the Bible teaches. Okay. Thank you. All right. And you see some of the great heroes of the Bible like Moses committed murder. And then he was certainly saved and didn’t lose it. David committed adultery and murder and he was still saved. He was chastened. You read the 51st Psalm, David wept as the Lord chastened him sore, but he was still saved.
But he said in that wonderful Psalm, 51, restore unto me, Lord, the joy of my salvation. He lost the joy. He was not happy with God spanking him, but yet he was still saved. Thank you, Curtis. We’re now going to go to Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida. Matthew, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. Good morning, Pastor. I just have a comment this morning about the revival. I just think that this is a great opportunity for believers to earn rewards by following the example in Ephesians 511 to reprove the unproofed works of darkness and that word to approve means expose and we can be We can do that out of love.
And people that can know that are succumbing to this movement and similar things through the Bible and give a godly example of what’s right and what’s wrong. And there is a great reward in heaven for every believer that is doing that. And this movement, you know, if you go on YouTube and watch the video and you’re going And the last thing is, you know, it’s getting hard not to, you know, not to say anything about it. So I just want to encourage everyone, there’s a reward for acting out of love toward the other believer.
Okay. And thank you. That’s a great passage in the next verse. It says, have no fellowship with the Unfoot for Works of Darkness. We’re not to chase after these meetings or attend them. And I think Christians put themselves at risk when they get into those things by out of curiosity that you just need to stay away. Have no fellowship with the Unfruitful Works of Darkness, but rather as you said, reprove them. And thank you, Matthew, in Spring Hill, Florida for calling in with that question.
And we’d like to have you call at 1-800-576-3771. We have Jonathan in Tampa, Florida. He says, what verses prove the Rapture? Well, there’s a bunch of them, First 10 salonians 4. 13-18, 1 Thessalonians 4, 13-18 is the classic passage that describes the rapture, that we which are alive and remain shall be caught up. That’s what the word rapture means. Caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and social we ever be with the Lord.
We have what verses he asked also, prove that the church will be removed from the tribulation. Well there are several, but Revelation 3 and 10 says that we’ll escape this awful tribulation that will come upon the face of the whole earth. That’s a great verse and every believer will be escaping this time on the earth. But also, 1 Thessalonians 1 and 10 tells us the next event is not the tribulation, but it’s the rapture. It says we’re to wait for his son from heaven.
It doesn’t say wait for the tribulation period. It says wait for his son from heaven. which has delivered us from this wrath, which is the cup. So obviously we don’t want to think that we have to go through the tribulation. If the tribulations were first, then it would say wait for tribulation, but it says wait for his son. All right. We have Dave on a cell phone. I don’t know where Dave is calling from, do we know? Okay. Dave, welcome to Bibleline from wherever you’re calling from.
I’m driving around Pinellas County. Alright, wonderful. We’ll get to hear from you. What can we do for you? A few weeks ago, you made a statement that salvation is available to everybody everywhere at all times. That’s correct. And I believe this too, but I’d like to hear you give a brief dissertation on how you see that working out in the life of somebody that never actually hears the gospel. Okay. I’ll be happy to. You know, it’s interesting. You see lots of illustrations in the Bible of this you have, for example Cornelius in Acts chapter 10.
He’s a Citizen of Rome. He’s a serving duty in the Roman army in Israel in Caesarea He’s searching he’s seeking God Here’s his prayers and knows his heart and he has him sin for Peter Peter comes to his house and Peter tells him how to be saved and the Cornelius is assembled all of his friends and relatives and everybody to hear Peter and the whole bunch of them gets saved all at one time. What a wonderful story of a seeking person finding the truth.
And in Jeremiah 2913 it’s one of my favorite verses that says, and you shall seek me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart. So somebody who is searching or seeking God promises that they will find. And that is absolutely the truth wherever they are. I have led people to Christ from many, many countries right here, in fact where I lived prior to where I live now. I led people to Christ from Somalia, from Ethiopia, from Russia, from Peru, from Bolivia, from lots of South American countries, from Central American countries.
I was amazed at how many people God brought across my path that I was able to share the Gospel to and lead them to Christ. Then I’ve traveled all over the world and I’ve met people in other countries that have led the Christ and what an exciting thing to lead in the Christ there or wherever I am. God can bring me across the path of a seeking person and they can come to know the Lord of Savior. We see it happen all the time and it becomes an exciting adventure in life to get up every day and say, Lord, who will you bring across my path today?
I believe if you’re a faithful, witnessing Christian, the most exciting adventure of the that your leverage experience in life is ahead of end for you. God is going to bring people across your path from basically any and all places the world to have you here. You know right here where we live in Tampa, you can’t hardly go out into the public where you don’t find people from foreign countries from a lot of the place. And very easy to bump into people from other lands.
And obviously they have family and friends back in their home country and they can bring the gospel back to their folks. And we have many different people that attend our church from many different countries that have come to know Christ. I believe God has brought them our way on purpose so we can lead them to Christ. And Jewish people as well who have come to know Jesus as their Messiah, the Savior, the one that prophets had said would come.
It’s really, truly an exciting adventure. I hope that helps a little bit, but there are many verses, but all of your 29-13 God is faithful that if a person is seeking they will find the truth wherever they might be. There’s no place too far away or place where the gospel cannot get to them. We’re at the end of the program. The time has just escaped us. It’s just so fast. But let me again say one more time that we do need your help financially to keep Bibleline rolling in your area.
And if you would consider giving a gift, what you call in today and give a generous gift to Bibleline, we are, we hate to talk about money, but basically it’s a wonderful opportunity for the believer to invest in rewards in heaven. You know, you can’t take it with you, but you can lay up treasures in heaven. and put it up there where it’s going to be safe forever. And whatever you do for the Lord is going to be remembered and rewarded Hebrew 610.
And I believe that investment in Bible and will be a great investment in eternity. Souls are getting saved. People are going into ministry. We had two guys just last week saying they’re going to go into the ministry. I don’t even get to hear about them all, but I know we have people all the time that are being challenged by Bible. excited about the word and we’re excited about being a part of it pray for Bible and calls give a gift by credit card or ask for an envelope to be sent and mail it in.
