We have Gershan Solomon visiting us from Jerusalem. That’s right. He’s coming here from Jerusalem in Orthodox Jew, the head of the Temple Mount Faithful, a man who has been cutting the stones for the third temple and he’ll be here to talk to us about it. You’ll not want to miss it.
It’s a Thursday night at seven o’clock. You’re invited to come and if you need directions or just give us a call we’ll try to help you out. If you live in another city we will be recording that. It will be available on DVD and CD if you’d like to catch up with what happened here. It’s an exciting moment. Christ is going to come back to a temple. There is not one here now. Now that doesn’t affect the rapture because he only comes partway and stanches us out.
But right after the rapture, we believe a temple will be built in Jerusalem and Jesus will come back to that temple at his second coming. Seven years after the rapture. Wow, it’s great to be with you today and again. It’s Wednesday and we thank you for tuning in. You’re always welcome to drop by anytime you’re in the area. But also don’t forget our website where you can take a look at everything we’ve got. You can do that online. That’s BibleLineMinistries.org.
We’re hearing all the time from folks that are catching us on the internet from all over the country and all over the world, which is exciting. We hope that you will take advantage as well. I was never so surprised when I was in Israel that I met a nice group of Nigerians, Christians, invited them to the hotel to my evening Bible study. About 40 of them came. One of them stood up and said, he lives in the Bibleline in Nigeria.
Isn’t that something? And you know, later that week we met another group of Nigerians from northern Nigeria. The first group was from southern Nigeria and they recognized me because they watched the programs, the TV programs and the TV programs and listened to Bible and Radio. We had a wonderful time getting to meet these folks that were Bible and listeners in the Middle East. Tell your friends that live in the parts of the country and tell your friends that live in the parts of the world.
Maybe you have missionaries or family or friends in the military. they can watch and listen to the Bible and anywhere in the world at any time. When I was in my hotel at Jerusalem, I tuned in our program and listened to it over there. It’s exciting. And that’s of course the technology we have today. If you don’t have a church home, you’re welcome to come here if you’re in driving distance and visit us. But if not, our worship services are on the website live at Sunday morning and in our for about a year.
We’re talking about a trip to Israel leaving February 23, 2009. It’ll be trip number 16 for me. And if you go to the website, you can pull up the brochure by going to Bibleline News on the home page. But if you’ll call and give us your name and address, we’ll send you a brochure. And let me just say that we need to give you some correct information. have to tell about December 1st to get in your deposit to go on the trip.
I said October 1st that’s wrong but you need to make a decision by December 1st and then you need to try to as quickly as you possibly can then pay off the balance of the trip and we’ll be on our way. Ten days in Israel and if you want to go on the extension it leaves seven days earlier and we’re going to Egypt, we’re going to Cairo, we’ll be in the largest city on the African continent, 25 million people in Cairo, are you believing it?
And we’ll be right downtown on an island in the middle of the Nile River. We’ll do a dinner cruise on the Nile, we’ll visit the great pyramid, we’ll get a chance to enter the Cairo Museum, antiquities, 100,000 artifacts. We’ll see the treasures of King Tut and the treasures of the other pharaohs of Egypt. It’s going to be exciting. I hope you’ll plan to go. We’ll drive along the Exodus route along the Red Sea. We’ll visit a lot, which is an Israeli city on the Red Sea, and then we’ll go into Jordan.
And there we will visit the Rock City of Petra, where the Jewish people will flee from the Antichrist during the tribulation period after the Rapture. Exciting stuff and we’ll be seeing it all. But if you can, mark 9-11 on your calendar and come see us on 9-11. That’s 7 o’clock in the evening, 39th, just a week from tomorrow and we’ll have Gersh on Solomon coming here from Jerusalem and giving us a live update on what’s going on with the building of the third temple which will go up i believe after the rapture if they start putting it up on the temple mount before the rapture i think i’ll stand on my dining room table that getting ready to be raptured out myself uh…
it’ll be that close because this will take place i believe right after we’re gone we’re getting the bible for a few minutes in your bible get it out of you would like to call if you can start calling right now the number is 1-800-576-3771, that’s 1-800-576-3771. In the book of Revelation, you have three major divisions. You have chapter 1, which are things which are past, chapters 2 and 3, which are things which are present, and chapters 4 through 22, which are the things which are future.
And so when you read the book of Revelation, if you’re in chapter 2 or 3, it’s talking about the past 2000 years, the church age, and it’s a prophetic picture of what has happened over the past 2000 years. That’s an interesting study all in itself. And by the way, I have a 12-hour series on Revelation, where we go verse by verse. I think you’ll find that very, very enlightening. In any case, chapter 4 verse 1 is a picture of the rapture in the book of Revelation.
It says there as we see John hearing a voice. He says, I looked and behold, a door was opened in heaven and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me which said, come up hither. We believe that is the rapture. Come up hither and I will show you things which must be hereafter. everything after the church age. And you know the church is no longer mentioned in the book of Revelation after this verse because the church has been raptured up.
John here has said to come up hither and that’s a picture of the rapture of the church and after that the church is no longer mentioned in the book of Revelation and we have the tribulation period described and it’s interesting that during that tribulation period one of the things we see is a temple again in Israel. If you’ll notice chapter 11 in Revelation verse 1 it says, and there was given unto me a reed, like unto a rod, and the angels stood saying wise, and measured the temple of God, and the altar and them that worship their Here I notice John is actually caught into the future.
Do you believe in time travel? Well, apparently it’s possible for God anyway because he doesn’t operate in just the four dimensions that we live in, but he operates outside those dimensions. And so he can intercept time anytime he wants. And here he took John into the future where he was actually there in the future and saw and did these things and recorded them as he did them. it was given unto me a read like a goerad. This is in the future.
This is in the tribulation period. This is after the rapture. And here John is caught into the future and saw things that are going to happen and record some force here in the book of Revelation. And notice he’s told here rise and measure the temple of God. You might want to underscore that in your Bible, that is the third temple, the one that is coming up soon on this planet. The one that Gershan Solomon is cutting the stones for, and he’s been cutting them in the ancient way.
That is, they cut them away from the temple mount, and they cut them with the primitive tools, and he’s got them all completed. I believe we’re ready to put that temple up. It’s just a matter of the rapture happening first. So if this is the rise and measure of the temple of God and the altar and then that worship therein. There’s nobody worshiping in the temple today. But during the tribulation period, worship will be revived at the temple in Jerusalem.
What most people don’t know is that the seven years of tribulation that follow the rapture are really the last seven years of the Old Testament that still need to tick off the clock. There are seven years of the Old Testament. And so once the rapture happens, the last seven years of the Old Testament tick off the clock and you’ll find here that we’re back on Old Testament territory. You’ll notice we have the temple mentioned here. Then we find in verse 3, two witnesses will come back and begin the witnessing process.
I believe they are clearly identified here as Moses and Elijah. So we are in Old Testament territory. Two Old Testament prophets come back to preach the gospel after the rapture and of course that is because there is no believers left on the earth. Once the rapture happens there will not be one believer on the earth. Moses and Elijah come back. They lead the 144,000 Jewish men to Christ. And they become God’s witnesses, and according to the Bible, that a great number, which no man could number, of all nations and kinens, and tongues got saved through the evangelism of 144,000.
Well, anyway, we have here Jewish territory. We have the Rapture taking place in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 4. And after that, it’s all future. I will show you the things which must be here after. So here then tells us something very interesting, because it keeps coming up. People say, well, what about the Arab mosque that is on the Temple Mount? Well, there are two, in fact, the El Aqsa mosque. And then there is the Dome of the Rock mosque, two different mosques on the Temple Mount.
Al-Aqsa in Arabic means for the most point. Supposedly, Mohamad took a ride one midnight on his flying horse. That’s right, he had a flying horse. I don’t believe that, but you can if you want. Supposedly, he flew on his horse to Jerusalem, and he landed on the Temple Mount. Now, if you have a flying horse, you need to tie it up, you may not have a ride home and so he tied the horse to the whaling wall and to this very day the wedding call is called barak which is the name of the flying horse.
That’s right. Barak is the name of the flying horse and so this flying horse was tied there until Mohammed was ready to go and then he got on his flying horse untied it and took off and went back to, I guess it was Mecca. Well in any case, I don’t believe the story at all, but he supposedly landed on the Temple Mount at where it is today, the El Aqsa Mosque. There is a second mosque here called the Dome of the Rock and this has the beautiful gold dome overlooking the actual rock surface of this mountain, which is Mount Mariah, the Mount of sacrifice.
It was on this mountain that Isaac was offered up, and we find here that this is a place where supposedly Moses, rather, Muhammad He got on his horse after he untied it from the whaling wall and ascended from there back to heaven. Well, that’s a fairytale, but it’s interesting that today there are some Muslim writers, I know in the Egyptian newspaper. They mentioned that there’s some new thought about that because in the Quran, the midnight ride was a ride to a city where there was a place of worship and those there that worshiped him.
Well, Jerusalem wouldn’t qualify for that at that time. And so it probably was talking about in the Quran, Medina, not Jerusalem, and of course the whole story is fake anyway. But they’re reconsidering the story because obviously when the Muhammad would have made that trip, there was no mosque in Jerusalem, and there was no worshippers of Muhammad in Jerusalem at that time. Verse 2 says, the court which is out without the temple, leave out and measure it not, for it is given unto the Gentiles, and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty in two months.
So We know that for 42 months or 3 and a half years, the last 3 and a half years of the tribulation period, the Gentiles will have control over that temple mount. Now we know that the two Arab mosques are an abomination to Israel and they are the profaned place. It’s not to be measured here. I think it’s a reference to that. Anyway, we’re going to cover more about the temple because I think it’s exciting to know that we’re seeing Israel planning to rebuild their temple.
In fact, they have a mock temple down in the Judean wilderness where they have priests actually practicing how to offer the sacrifices again. They’re getting ready. There are 2,000 men that they have identified that are of the family of co-hath. Did you know that you not only had to be of the tribe of Levi, but to actually serve in the temple, you had to be of a particular family, the family of Kohath, and they have a special gene, a special DNA I understand, and they had been able to find 2,000 of these men in Israel, and they have targeted them as being the priest that will serve in the the millennium rather in the tribulation period when that temple becomes rebuilt.
I hope everybody listening is trusted Christ as Savior. The most important decision you will ever make is that if you die without Christ according to the Bible, you will not make heaven. There is only one way to heaven and that is to trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ that he died on the cross was buried and rose again from the dead. The The moment you trust him, the count of an heaven saves you. We’re going to go up to Illinois to Ken.
The phone number, by the way, is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to talk to Ken in the cater. Illinois, Ken, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, Dr. Hank. I have a couple of questions here and they’re not really all that important. I was talking with a friend of mine and we were talking about knowing how Noah preached 100 years before the flood and only eight were saved into the ark. And he said, oh boy, now my computer is working.
The sound has been all messed up on your program on this computer. Let me turn it down there. I had it turned all the way high and still couldn’t hear it it’s blast and so maybe they got your sound straight down there. It’s been broadcasting that way for about a month off and on. But anyway he’s using this verse here. He said, well it didn’t take no 100 years to build the ark because enough and it does say this, Genesis chapter 11 verse 7.
Shim was 100 years old and he get Afro-Fax or whatever his name is two years after the flood. So that would have made Shim 98 years and he was trying to say well if she was ninety eight we know that son of no helping bill dar that no one could not have uh… taken a hundred years to build the ark and brief honor here as well out how we don’t know how long she worked on the rd and answer for that that i mean it’s foolish but none of the top of the head but it was a hundred twenty years according to genesis six three that it took it took to build the arc.
And Noah obviously could have hired out help there to build it, but definitely the three sons and their wives entered into the arts so they were at least of marriageable age when they entered the arc to ride out the flood. But I’ll have to check that out. I have never had anybody brought to bring that up before. So I will do that kid and we’ll try to get an answer back to you. Yeah, like I said, whatever the Bible says, that’s what’s exactly right.
And if it’s said it in one place, it would take them 120 years. I was trying to tell this guy, I said, well, really, whatever it doesn’t make, if the Bible said that it took 120 years, just accept it because if there’s any mistakes being made at you and your math or me in my way of thinking and not putting the Scriptures divided right and getting them in order. But anyway, I just was wondering about that. Another question I have is cherubs and cherubs and Satan was a cherub that covered.
Is there any other questions you have? Is there any difference between angels and cherubs? Yes. Yeah, a cherub is not an angel, but is a special one of the living creatures that are about the throne of God. Now not only was Satan a cherubah, but he’s called an angel because he’s a messenger of light. Of course false information, but we find that the word angel means messenger. So he was a messenger, but a false messenger. So you can call a chair of an angel, but an angel is not really a chair.
So it doesn’t work in reverse. The reason I was asking about the difference, we in Charabton Angels, and we already know that the sons of God and the sons of men that were talking about back when the sons of God married the daughters of men, him and his wife were saying that they had married, that angels had impregnated these when I said, well, that’s not possible. If you take a clear verse that says angels, neither married nor are given in marriage, and we would be like the angels when we’re in heaven.
And I said, no, they did was go out and married the Canaanite women that were in the land of the Lord. land at the time and the giants, because I learned that from you that were in the land, were already there before this happened anyway. So anyway, they were going back and reded. Do I have that correct? Yes, you do. How about Dakes Bible? Here we are in those Bibles again. You’re the guy we use to pre-fruit all these because none of us can reach that bad.
Anyway… Anyway, Diggs Bible has a lot of lists and things, but he’s got one list of 220 reasons why you can lose your salvation. So his doctrine is not very sound. So he does. Well, which is that one? Yes. Because that’s the problem I’m having with this. a lot of bad stuff in there and if you’re discerning you can use it. I have a dinks Bible and and I like the different list that he comes up with but many of them are wrong so you have to be able to know what’s right what’s wrong when you No one to this guy is so legalistic because that’s what I was getting from when I talked to him I thought my goodness you know I know he’s saved because he helped lead me to the Lord.
I know he’s got the plan of salvation right but now he somehow thinks that if he’s the person somebody in my family smokes a cigarette he thinks they’re lost and going to hell. I know that person smokes that cigarette is saved they’re just still smoking cigarettes and it’s going to be harmful to him but they’re not going to hell for smoking. Now I was trying to figure out why he was getting it and where he was getting it and that’s it So I’m gonna get me a dakes bottle and study up on it then.
Okay I have some mission. Good. Thank you Ken. That was Ken. We’re gonna go to Angel now in St. Petersburg and Angel welcome to ByBlind. You’re on the air. I was on your website the other day and I was on your Yes. I got to the moment you’re talking about Jacob and Eastlaw and you’re talking about how Jacob was. He just told them to salvage and just told them to where Christ would come through His for his seed. That’s right.
Right. I was always webadora complete because I was waiting for you to how you would tie that in but I didn’t plan. The answer is that that particular quote Jacob and the love he saw in the book of Malachi. That’s at the very end of the Old Testament, and looking back over the history of their descendants, they went two different directions. Jacob went in the spiritual direction, and we find that… His brother did not. He saw it didn’t. And so the descendants of Esau constantly were anti-God.
And so he hated that. And so that’s the answer. It wasn’t pre beforehand. It was after the fact. Okay. So I guess already had happened when Malachi said that the quotes in Romans 9, but the quote is from Malachi, which is when they’d already been around for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years. Okay, so I’m just playing the devil’s advocate here, you know, so Because he the cabinets would say well no that right there is talking about beforehand before they even if they ever done any good or bad No, that’s not about the choice for Jacob to be the one through the Messiah would come But then later that other verses quoted to show God made a wise choice there because he saw when in the negative spiritual direction and and Jacob is the one that went in the right direction.
So obviously he was the one that threw him the sideward car. We’ve got to give him up on break here and we’ll have to end this half of the show into a second half hour. Again, Bible and his listeners are supported. We can certainly use your help if you want to call and offer to give a gift by credit card. It would be greatly appreciated and also you could call Asper Numblop and then send your gift in and help Bible and out.
We’re going to take a short break, come back and do a second half hour of Bible and I’m Dr. Englinse from Don’t Go Away, keep your radio tuned right where it is, and we’ll catch you in just a couple of minutes for a second half hour of Bible and. Don’t Go Away Bible and we’ll be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Englund. It’s great to be with you again today. Thank you so much for tuning in.
We appreciate you and all of our listeners. We’d love to get to meet you and sometimes we have that opportunity. And if you get a chance to come by and see us in Tampa, Florida, we’d love to have you do that. We have Gershahn Solomon coming here from Jerusalem to talk to us about the rebuilding of the Third Temple. He has been the one who has been cutting the stones now ever since the six-day war in June of 1967.
So we’re excited because everything is ready. There are several different groups in Israel. All of them doing a part of getting things ready. Some are working on the implements of worship. Some are working on the priests of garments. Some are working on the sacrificial system. Some are working on the stones like Gershan. And we’re excited about having that happen. We’ll record it. It’ll be available on CD or DVD, but you will have to come in person if you actually want to meet and shake hands with Gershaun while he’s here.
That’s Thursday night, 9-11, September 11th at 7 p.m. It’s a Thursday night. You’re welcome to come. I invite you to also go with us to Israel, this coming spring. February 23rd, we’ll take off for a 10-day trip to Israel. And if you want to do the option, it’s seven days more, leaving before the other part of the trip. And we’ll go to Egypt, we’ll go to Elot, on the Red Sea, we’ll go to the Rock City, Petra, in Jordan.
It’ll be a spectacular trip. And I’d love to have you on board with me. It’ll be my trip number 16. And we’ll just see some things that’ll just, you’ll never forget. It’ll be a trip of a lifetime, no doubt about it. out about it. We’re planning to have a dinner cruise on the Nile River. That ought to be spectacular. We66666666 planned to drive some of the Exodus route along the Red Sea. We plan to visit the aquarium there in a lot where you can go down in this glass enclosure and the fish are free but the people are inside the glass enclosure, the very opposite of the normal aquarium will drive into Petra, a spectacular city carved out of the rock, called one of the modern seven wonders of the world, called the Rose Red City of Petra, and the rocks arelementively colored naturally, and the temperature there, although it’s a
desert city, and very hot inside all of the buildings, it’s a natural 70 degrees year round. The guide was provided, some American dish in the province of the Jews. You know there is 40 square miles of Petra, so there’s plenty to see. We’re going to take a break here or rather go back from the break and join the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour right now. So stay tuned and we’ll go right now to the second half hour.
Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Well, we’re back from that break and it’s Bibleline and we’re glad to be with you. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church and we hope that you’re enjoying the program. Those of you that are listening by internet and those of you listening on broadcast stations, we’re just delighted to have you with us today.
By the way, don’t forget that you can catch a lot of our programs again and again in archive. Go to the BibleLineMinistries.org website and click on the spinning globe for radio. Lots of stuff and we hope that you’ll take advantage of all that. If you are living in the Tampa Bay Area, mark 9-11 on your calendar.
That September 11th is a week from tomorrow. We are going to have Gershahn Solomon actually here in person from Jerusalem. He is going to be telling us about the rebuilding of the Third Temple. He has been cutting the stones ever since the Six-Day War in June of 1967. And I think you will find it exciting. We know that the temple will be rebuilt, the prophecies are loaded about the second temple. The third temple is coming up after the rapture and the fact that the stones have been cut and the implements for worship have been prepared, the garments of the priesthood made and so on.
We are close while on the edge of Christ’s recurring. So it is exciting for us as believers. We are leaving and the temple will be built immediately following when we go and Christ will come back to that temple. That will be September 11th, 9.11 at 7 PM. Be here at the headquarters of Bible Eye and at Calvary Community Church. I think you are going to have a wonderful, wonderful evening and bring guests. If you have any Jewish friends, bring them as well.
As we will be talking about the Messiah of Israel and how he will come to a temple. Maybe the great part responsible would be Gershawn Solomon and you’ll get to hear him and shake his hand and talk to him in person right here at Bible and at Calvary Community Church. We’re going to go to our firm lines again. The firm number is 1-800-576-3771 and we have Earl in Fort Lauderdale. Welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Yes, Dr.
Ann. You’re there. Okay. We can see you in the name of Jesus. Amen. I have two questions that I would love for you to give me some by perverse to back this up. I was talking to some relatives of mine who are 70 and 70. I heard one says always safe and you cannot lose your salvation. What are the scriptures on that? Okay, there’s a ton of them, but John 637 is my favorite. Jesus said John 637, him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.
That means under no circumstance, in no situation would Christ ever cast out a believer. So some people, and I remember one lady in particular, she said, but you don’t know what sin I have committed. And I said I don’t even want to know, but there’s no exception clause here. It doesn’t say him that cometh to me, I want to know why it’s cast out, except they commit the sin that you have committed. There’s nothing that can ever cause you to be cast out according to John 637.
But even better is John 639, where Jesus says, this is the Father’s will. You can’t come any higher in authority than the father’s will. This is the father’s will which has sent me that of all of which You’ve given me I should lose none But raise them up again to the last day so Christ said it’s the father’s will that not one person would ever be lost Once they have been saved so wow once you trust the Lord of Savior You can’t even kick yourself out because Christ promises to keep you safe because he will not lose you And then of course John 10 has some wonderful verses there.
Jesus said in verse 28, I give unto them eternal life, not temporary life, but eternal life, and they shall never perish. That phrase means they’ll never go to hell. The second death, which is to be cast in the hell, is something that will never happen to the believer. It says about the believers in John 10.8, they’ll never perish. They’ll never experience the second death. They’ll never go to hell. But it says, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.
So he’s holding you, keeping you safe. and you can’t be lost because he’s keeping you saved. I hope that helps a little bit on those verses there, but you find that the seven deadbuns are working their way to heaven. That’s why they believe you can lose it, and you really can’t have any assurance because it’s all about works. One of the things that they mentioned to me, what if the person got saved, but maybe ever now and again he come in the sin, He has sinned, willing, he believes in his salvation.
And the answer is no, because all of your sins were paid for at the cross, past, present and future. And because they’re all paid for, every one of your sins for your whole lifetime were paid for. He offers you eternal life at the moment you believe, and everything is already done. It’s finished as Christ said on the cross. So you don’t have any sins that are going to surprise God or are going to come up and cause you to be lost and cast out.
But read Romans 8, 38, and 39. Paul says that I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor things present or things to come nor height nor depth nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. can separate you. Not death, not life, not the future, things to come. You’re stuck. You have to go to heaven where you like it or not. Okay. Go ahead.
Thank you. The next one is they also tell me that because I listen to you all the time and I heard you mentioned about the Rapture. And then they bring me to this picture, Matthew 24 that all Christians are going to go through the rapture. We are not going to leave before the rapture. What scripture can I use to show them that we are going to be taken out before the rapture? Before the tribulation. For me? Before the tribulation.
Yes. Actually, they missed read Matthew 24. If you’ll notice it says there in verse 29, immediately after the tribulation of those days. Then they go over to verse 41. Matthew chapter 24, and if you look at verse 41, there shall be two in the field, the ones shall be taken, and the other left. Now if you read the verse, most people think that’s the rapture, but it’s not the rapture, it’s the second coming, and it’s the opposite of the rapture.
Look at it says in verse 39. As in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking and bearing and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark. That was 29 or 39? 39. And knew not until the flood came and took them all away. Now the flood came and took the unbelievers away and the believers were left. So this is not the rapture, it’s second coming because they were telling me that Jesus Christ is only going to come one time.
Are we going to go through the tribulation? Because if God takes us out before the tribulation, Satan is going to say God was a favorite to him by taking out the believers and not letting them go through the tribulation. Well, they’re missing the point. In verse 39 here we have the period of the flood and the flood kill the unbelievers. So the ones that are left are the believers into the millennium and the ones that are taken are taken by the flood and killed just as Christ will come back and kill the unbelievers and the believers will be left to live into the millennium.
Okay, so if they’re in the other scripture in revelation that where the things would go up in the rapture. Oh, yeah Lots of verses. Mm-hmm. Look at first us only is 110 Babylonian 110. Yeah, it says we’re to wait for his son from heaven which delivered us from the wrath to come So we’re not going to go through the tribulation Okay, any more? Well, first us only is 4, 13 through 18, which is the classic passage on the Rapture that we are going to be waiting and hear the shout, and up we go.
And we’ll be delivered from the Tribulation, which in chapter 5, mentions that it follows immediately following the Rapture of the Church. So first listening on 4 verse 18 and… 13 through 18 and chapter 5 tells us that tribulation period follows that rapture. And it says in verse 3 and 4 there of chapter 5 that we are not in darkness that that they should overtake us as a thief. We’re going to be caught out but the world will be swallowed up by the tribulation period.
Okay. Alright, I really appreciate that. something that I can bring back to them. The major thing though is their salvation. They’re trusting in their works to be saved and therefore they’re not going to be saved because they’re working their way to Heaven and it’s not by works. And that’s why they believe they can lose it because it’s all based upon what they’re going to do. So that’s the major issue with the Seventh-Nad Venice. Okay, then, thank you very much.
You’re very welcome. Thank you for calling in. We’re now going to go to Matthew in Spring Hill and Matthew welcome to Bibleline. Good morning. Hank, uh, and death, uh, the hell and the hell and the grave and everything. My question is, based on that, did Jesus not have authority over those things before the cross? And how does that affect us differently than it did Old Testament saints and our dealings with temptations and sin in the devil? I don’t think you made any difference at all except that we have today the power of the Holy Spirit in us to have victory ever sin.
Uh, but in the Old Testament, uh, when When you trusted Christ, these things were given to you in the way of a promise. The promise was made a covenant by Christ’s death when he shed his blood that became the blood that ratified the new covenant. Okay, so a good illustration would be paradise then of that promise. Yeah. Okay. Awesome. I have one more question. He goes first or second Peter when he speaks of the Morning Star, arising in our hearts.
What’s the event? Was he burned to? Well, the Morning Star coming is the rapture, I believe, because the star that appears right at the end of the darkness that brings the light is Christ. And so the tribulation period and the millennium both are called the day of the Lord. And so when Christ comes back and snatches us out the end of the period of darkness the past 2000 years then that is the beginning of the tribulation period and then the millennium will follow.
You’re welcome. Thank you. We’re now going to go to Tim in St. Petersburg and Tim, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Okay Tim, you’re on the air. Yes, hi Hank. I have a question for you. I was just wondering, can somebody, I was talking with somebody the other night at the E700 Club, right? What are their… of their poor people telling me that a Christian could commit the unpartentable sin and that basic desalination essentially. Well, you’re right. The 700 Club believes that.
They believe you could lose your salvation and basically you have to work for it. So obviously, their doctrine is flawed. Even if you’re really bad about God or something after you’re saved, it’s not the unpartentable. Absolutely not. There is only one unpardonable sin in this to reject Christ. And once you die without Christ, you can’t be forgiven, you’ll go to hell. But once you become a believer, again, that verse we quoted earlier, John 637, Jesus said, Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.
So there’s no circumstance, there’s no reason, there’s nothing that could ever cause you to be cast out once you come to Christ. that and you know i have you know i they told me that the important of the sim was attributing something of god of the devil well that’s what what they did there in and the gospels was they rejected christ and said that what he did in the way of healing was by satan’s power and not by the power of god but uh…
he could only be committed by an unbeliever who is saying that christ is an imposter or fraud and that he did wonderful miracles but he he wasn’t a messiah he did it by stings power he was a deceiver and that he got the divergent in crisis would be good at home So that’s the only thing that you can’t be forgiven for. Yeah, if you die without Christ, then you can’t be forgiven. Okay, all right. I was just carrying this about that and a friend of mine said the other night we were out and he sees a fellow Christian and he said he noticed feeling like God working in me or something like that.
And you know, he was a fellow Christian and he said he noticed this since the last time he saw me. I would end he’s talking at it all and and again you know, he was a going off into something that is not Christianity when people make those statements. I’ve had them say that about me, that they see an aura or whatever. One guy said he saw gold flakes all over my body. It’s just don’t buy in that at all.
That’s just the devil wanting to mess with your mind. You cannot just look at somebody and tell whether they’re Christian or not. You have to ask them and it’s by their confession. What do they say? If they say I’ve trusted Jesus alone and his death and shed blood as the means of my salvation, then you say, well, you’re saved. But if they say, well, I’m trusting in my works to get me to heaven, then you can say you lost.
It’s that simple, but you can’t just tell by looking at some outward glow or something. So it’s nice for them to say that. I would just say that they just don’t even bite on it at all. Just let it go. I don’t expect to see any glow on you if I see you. If I go into a dark room, I don’t expect you to light it up. Forget that. That’s a lot of nonsense. It’s not Christian. Okay. All right.
Thank you, Tim. And we’re going to go now to Mike in Lakeland, Florida. Mike, welcome to Bimlin. Hey, Dr. Hank. I’m on a cell phone. And so I think my call is breaking up. I’m going to ask the question right quick and then get off the lot. In the rapture we understand that our bodies will receive our glorified bodies. What about the saints that come out of the millennial kingdom? Will there be a second resurrection? What will happen? How will they receive their new bodies?
I’ll hang up and listen. Well, you know clearly the ones that are lost will be in the second resurrection of the lost and be given the resurrection bodies and then cast into hell. As far as the believers, it doesn’t tell us. It could be that each one receives it upon their death as they die during the millennium. And it could be that there might be a special time of giving them all the resurrection bodies at one point. The Bible doesn’t say.
So that’s where we just have to leave it silent because the Bible doesn’t teach us. So there is no real clear passage that tells us when the Millennial Saints will get their resurrection bodies. Now we know the Tribulation Saints will get their resurrection bodies at the Second Coming as he begins the Millennium. But those who die as believers during the Millennium, we don’t know. It doesn’t tell us. Hopefully that’s helpful. We don’t have Curtis in Tampa, Florida, and Curtis, welcome to Bibleline.
I just following your landing. Yeah. Did some mathematical formulas with some of the numbers in 1260 days, which is the 1260 and then the 1260 plus 30. Oddly, the 1260 days from September 30 turns out to be March 14, 2012, which happens to be the middle of the week. And then 1290 days from that day works out to be the day of atonement in 2015. Just thought that might be a little bit too much coincidence there. All right All right.
Okay. Thank you so much. Thank you. Yeah. 1260 days is really three and a half years. So that doesn’t surprise me that it worked out that way for you. But the rapture will happen before the tribulation period and therefore it could happen at any time and it could happen this year which would mean September 30th in October 1st which is the two-day celebration of the Feast of Trumpets could be the date. And if it happens we’ll hear a last trump and up we’re going to go and meet the Lord in the air and forever be with the Lord.
Alright well hopefully that helped and thank you Curtis for calling in. The phone number here at my blind is 1-800-576-3771. Don’t forget on 9-11 or September 11th we have Gershaun Solomon coming here from Jerusalem and he’ll be here at seven o’clock in the evening Thursday night The 9th, rather, the September 11th, 911, and you will be able to hear and listen to and shake hands with and talk with the fellow that may be building the temple that Christ will return back to.
I think that’s kind of exciting. And we’re looking forward to having him and bring your friends, bringing, I guess, if you have any Jewish friends, bring them. I think they’ll enjoy hearing from an Orthodox Jew from Jerusalem. He is a tenth generation Jerusalemite, which means he can trace his ancestry back to his tenth grandfather, all being born and raised in Jerusalem. Kind of fascinating. I think you’ll find him very interesting. That’s on September 11 at 7 p.m. here at Calvary Community Church.
We now have Dave in St. Petersburg, and Dave, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Oh, baster. uh… you know a lot of uh… that’s the colleges and people up there and i think that it may be a hundred and hundreds of millions of people are going to get re going to get raptured and uh… i can disagree with that and i’m using this that map you 7, 13, and 14 is a way to kind of prove that. This 30th entry is in a big straight gate for why it is the gate and broadest the way that lead us to destruction, and many there be which go in their app.
Because straight is the gate and narrows the way which lead us unto life, and few there be to find it. God has always used remnants. or force . yeah so i i think i think the rapture yeah there’s a very few that may be raptured now there could be a lot of . tribulation sites well i think we get saved after the rapture but you’re right .
we don’t know how many raptured and it might be surprising . yeah it might just be a night at that uh… . now i think it’ll be an event but i think that i think that that that everybody . thinks it’s going to be right not everybody that names the name of prices of christian so therefore not everybody’s going to be raptured up a lot of people who would claim to be a christian i was raised in the church and uh…
if you’d asked me uh… before i was eighteen if i was if i was a christian I would have said yes, but I would have also said, you know, probably because I was born in America. I thought if you were born in America, that this automatically made your Christian. But that isn’t the case. And if I was born in the garage, it wouldn’t make me an automobile. So when you trust Christ, you become a Christian. And I didn’t trust the Lord until I was 18.
And I had been supposedly a Christian for 18 years, but I wasn’t. Yeah, well you can look at those numbers of fifty-seven percent of so-called evangelicals You know they believe there’s more than one way to get to heaven that’s so that kind of tells you right there, too Well, you’re right I mean most of them deny the scriptures and Salvation by faith and and the doctrines of heaven hell and many doctrines are not believed by many mainstream churches today It’s become really a time of apostasy.
Well, thank you Dave and we have much appreciate you calling in. He suspects that the number of people raptured won’t be as large as most people are thinking. Well we’re at the end of the program and we’re gonna have to say goodbye for today. It’s Wednesday. But the Lord has been supplying us far through you the listener as you give to support Bibleline.
