Jesus is coming back! We should look at the signs that he said would happen before his return. For the believer this ought to motivate us to win the lost. Time is running out! Jesus came the first time as a LAMB to shed his blood as our sacrifice. He will come the second time as a LION to crush and devour those that have not trusted Him. If one does not accept the shed blood of Christ, Christ will shed that person’s blood. No one will escape His wrath and fury except the saved, which have received by faith His shed blood. What about you, have you accepted the truth of Christ’s shed blood for you?

So many are applicable to the situation we see in the world today. The book of Revelation, the book of Daniel are coming alive to us and we have those series available you can order and also others that deal with prophecy but also the major doctrines of the Bible are covered in many of our teachings. If you have a problem about when is the rapture? I have 12 hours of teaching on a series there where you can get that on CD.
We have an excellent book called The Rapture by Tim LaHaye which covers the different Rapture positions and gives you some straight shooting answers as to why we believe the church, the body of Christ, the bride of Christ will not go through one second of the tribulation period. We’re going to be raptured out and miss the seven years of tribulation. We’re going to go to the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to be taking our calls today.
We have all fair questions and we welcome you to call us if you have a question or comment at 1-800-576-3771. We hope you enjoyed our television programs yesterday as Thursday is our television day and we hope that you’ll catch them again or catch programs you haven’t seen by going to our website. We have about 20 programs there in archives and you can watch the program of the week which has to do with Iraq and Biblical prophecy. You’ll want to watch that program.
Well we’re excited about bringing my blind to you and again welcome all of you that are listening and we’re on many areas now. We’re on a mobile Alabama, Pensacola, Florida, Kansas City, Missouri, Memphis, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Ohio, Lexington, Kentucky, Flint, and Saginaw, Michigan, Lansing, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chester, Virginia, and Richmond, Virginia, Utica, New York, Albany, New York, and all over the place. We hope that you will catch some of these places. We’re on in the land floor, which reaches the east coast of Florida, from St.
Augustine down to Titusville and back over into Orlando. we’re on in Fort Lauderdale on the BLVJ. We reach all the way back into the heart of the state and out to the Bahama Islands. Those of you that are listening in the Bahama today, we haven’t heard from you for a while. Give us a call and say hi and let us know you’re hearing the program. We reached the whole South Florida region on WLVJ. We’re on in Sarasota, 91.3 FM.
Of course we’re on here in our flagship station, the TVN in Tampa on 910 and 570 AM radio. Well, you can’t help but talk about the news. You know, we are watching this little teeny state of Israel. So small, you could fit it here in Florida between Jacksonville and Orlando on the right hand half of the state hardly even notice it’s there. It is so small and yet is drawing worldwide attention and it’s in the news all the time.
Who would ever believe that? You know when God said in Zechariah chapter 14 and verse 2, I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle. When that was written twenty-eight hundred years ago, you probably would have laughed. Jerusalem with such a small city and obviously how would all the nations of the earth ever come together in battle against Jerusalem. But today nobody is laughing. It is right now in the heart of everything that’s going on and as they worry could escalate into a big regional war.
As Syrian Iraq are apparently pulling the strings and maybe Israel will now say, since Israel is behind it, they will go in and take out that nuclear capability of Iran. Because you know Iran wants to destroy Israel with their nuclear weapons and Israel cannot afford to let Israel, rather Iran, develop them. And so maybe this is an opportunity for them to take it out. In any case, the region is in for a lot of trouble. In the future, we know that at the Battle of Armageddon, these Muslims are in the future.
Muslim countries are all going to take a tremendous hit. We know that Damascus, the Bible says, will become a ruinous heap and it will be totally destroyed. The city of Damascus apparently will not exist anymore after the Battle of Armageddon. There will be nuclear strikes. In Egypt they will take a tremendous hit and according to Ezekiel it tells us that apparently Egypt will be radioactive for 40 years into the thousand year reign of Christ, but not even a dog will be able to cross the sands of Egypt because of the radiation.
We believe that the whole Middle East is really going to get hit hard when the battle of Armageddon occurs. And of course, God is going to fight for Israel and Israel will survive and Jesus will come back as Israel’s king and rule over the earth as king of kings and Lord of Lords, and all the nations of the earth will come under the leadership and the rulership of Jesus Christ. I love what Handel did, as he took the scriptures and revelation and set them to music, and he puts down these wonderful words that he shall reign forever and ever and ever.
that’s talking about Christ. And when he does finally, the earth will be at peace, but look at the world now. No peace at all. And the Bible says there will be no peace until Jesus Christ comes. But you know, the talk of peace is a sign of the end times. In 1 Thessalonians in chapter 5, it says, when they shall say peace and safety. And of course, the world is talking about that. And as they talk about it and dream about it, the Bible says that the worst time of destruction or tribulation the world has ever seen will come upon the whole planet and they will not be able to escape it just like a woman who is pregnant cannot escape the pain of the childbirth as the time the child comes into this world.
And I believe we are seeing the birth pangs already start that will lead to Jesus coming back and establishing peace on earth good will toward men but the tribulation period and that That period that follows the rapture will, of course, happen, I think, in the very near future because everything is set. The Jewish people are back in the state of Israel. Right now, the temple is ready to be erected. The stones have been cut. The implements for worship have been prepared.
The garments of the high priest that have been made and they have also discovered through DNA technology that the family of co-house, the only family. He is also the only one that can be identified by their DNA. They have identified 2,000 young men in Israel that are the priestly tribe of Levi, but also of the family of Kohan or Cohath and therefore make it possible for the sacrificial system to begin again. There are so many things happening right now that all blend together that we believe that we are obviously getting into it.
being very close to the Lord’s return. Are you watching the news? Israel is obviously capturing all the news. And again, you have to think about how large the Middle East is and how TV Israel is. And it doesn’t make any sense. Israel doesn’t have any oil. Israel doesn’t have any huge wealth. And yet, these people that are there are hated. It’s interesting that there could be such hatred. The Muslim countries that surround Israel refuse to recognize the existence of the state of Israel.
They want to see Israel destroyed and that’s what all this is about. Israel is hated. No doubt that’s exactly what Jesus said would happen. They would be hated above all nations. That’s what this conflict is all about. for the Jewish people, hatred for Israel, and we are living, I think, close to when Jesus comes back. If you look at Luke 21, 25, Jesus said there would be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars. Wow, never before have we had events as we are watching now, the space shuttle coming back on Monday.
We all probably watched it as it launched and were concerned for the safety of those astronauts as they went up. Also there has been this huge exclamation point on the sun. If you go to spaceweather.com and go back to June 26th they posted a picture of an exclamation point 150,000 miles from one end or the other a perfect exclamation point without a little period at the bottom. 150,000 miles from top to bottom is God putting a sign there on the sun for our attention and there are so many things happening in space today that we never would have known about or paid attention to or even thought were possible until now as we’re able to launch into space and we have people living year round in a space station orbiting the planet earth.
Meanwhile, upon the earth the Bible says there would be distress of nations. Is there distress as the G8 meet now over in St. Petersburg, Russia, hosted by the country of Russia? The discussions are, I’m sure, intense about North Korea. I ran Israel, the Middle East confrontation here, and all the things that are troublesome in our world with rogue nations ready to try to level the playing field by acquiring nuclear weapons. India, Pakistan, a very, very dangerous situation where they hate each other and they both have nuclear weapons.
Can they restrain themselves from using them? Well, we’re watching and I hope that you’re looking up because Jesus is coming. And meanwhile it says in Luke 21-25 upon the earth it would be the sea and the waves roaring. I think it speaks about weather patterns and storms and obviously we see so many of those in weather patterns changing such that the western part of the country is burning up and the eastern part of the country has been nearly drowning in rainfall and around the world we’re seeing these weather changes.
Jesus said when these things begin to come to pass, Luke 21, 28, look up, lift up your heads because your redemption draws nigh and obviously we ought to be looking up, lifting our heads up because Christ is about to come. And He will first come at the rapture and then seven years later come at the second coming to bring peace on earth, good will, toward men. So I hope everybody listening has trusted Jesus Christ as Savior. There is no other Savior.
Christ said, I am the way the truth of life and no man can come unto the Father but by me. Have you trusted Christ? If you haven’t, you can’t go to the Father. You can’t enter heaven. You are excluded. That’s right. No one Christ says. No one can come unto the Father except by me. Are you trying to get to the Father through your church? What work? Uh uh uh. Are you trying to get to the Father through your works?
May be confirmation, baptism, penance, mass, church membership. Won’t get you there. Sorry. Jesus said, I am the way. I am the truth. And I am the life. And no man cometh unto the Father except by me. So if you’re trying to get to heaven any other way than through Jesus Himself and Jesus alone, you’re not going to be in heaven. And that’s scary. Hopefully you’d wake up and realize I need to trust Jesus. Just like the dying thief trusted Christ in the last moments of his life, and Jesus said, today, that’s what we would be in paradise.
Right now, you could trust Jesus Christ as the one who died and shed his blood for you. Paid your sin dead and full by his death and shed blood was buried and rose again from the dead when you trust him, God in heaven, save you. I’m Dr. Englins from this is Bible and wonderful to be with you. Again, this is Friday. I hope you attend church someplace as we can search for a church that teaches the word is true to the Bible.
We have a sheet that we will be glad to send out to you called Beliefs that Matter about twenty-five basic doctrines that a good church ought to have. And today we are told in the Bible that churches would not endure sound doctrines, so many of them today are flawed in their teaching because they don’t even know the Bible, don’t teach the Bible and therefore you need to be careful where you attend but look and search diligently for a good sound Bible Church and then attend.
If you’re in the Tampa Bay area you can visit us. We’re going to have a dinner this Sunday. Just come attend 30 and enjoy the worship. Be my guest and stay for dinner and we’ll have a great time of food and fellowship afterward. Alright, the phone number here, Bibleline is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to run down in Boca Raton, Florida, and Ron, welcome to Bibleline, you’re on the air. Good morning, Pastor Hank, how are you? Good, good morning. I’m listening to you on 10.40am, the BLVJ down here in Boca Raton.
Beautiful. We spoke Tuesday. I would talk to you about communion and you had referenced me on the 6th, but also could you tap to 10 verses 14 to 22 and I’ll hang up now just listening to you. I just I’m trying to move to a church and make a new church to home. I just want to be sure that That the doctrines are if you would come in again Just look at the front links chapter 10 14 Benson God bless you.
All right as first Corinthians. I Believe it was first Corinthians he was referring to chapter 10 versus 14 Let’s go on where for my duty beloved flee from idolatry and of course covetousness is adultery as we learn from another passage in God’s Word and so we need to be careful that we flee from that. I say unto you as wise men, judge you what I say. The cup of blessing which you bless is not the communion of the blood of Christ.
The bread which we break is not the communion of the body of Christ. For we being many are one bread and one body. For we are all partakers of that one bread and is talking about us as believers having partaken of Christ’s body by trusting that He died for us. When we believe that message of Christ’s death and shed blood, we become saved and become the body of Christ. We become placed into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit.
That’s what the operation of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is. 1 Corinthians 12 and 13, it says, by one spirit are we all baptized into one body? Whether we be bond or free or Jew or Gentile, we’ve all been made to drink in the one spirit. As a result, verse 27, it says, now you are the body of Christ and members in particular. That’s exactly what it’s saying here. But then it goes on to say here in 1 Corinthians 10, verse 18, behold Israel, after the flesh are not they which eat of the sacrifice, sacrifices, partaker of the altar.
What shall I say then? That the idol is anything or that which is offered as a sacrifice to idols is anything. And here it talks about what was happening in Corinth was the intrusion of false beliefs and the worship of demons into the church as they would eat meat offered up to idols. Also, their participation with the false belief systems and then also coming to observe the Lord’s Supper. And he says in verse 21, you cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.
So obviously, sometimes the church has become corrupted in his doctrine. And so although you come supposedly to observe the Lord’s Supper and have communion with Jesus, You really are not having communion with him because of the corrupted doctrines of the Church, and therefore you are actually observing fellowship with demons and those who actually bring about false doctrine. First Timothy chapter 4 is an interesting passage rod where it talks about that people in the last days would depart from sound doctrine, would depart from the faith, and it says, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons.
This is what would be introduced in the Church in the last days. It would be demonic doctrines creeping in, and people would not even be aware of the fact that they have. They are warned in 1st Timothy chapter 4 about this that it says in verse 1, the Holy Spirit He speaks expressly that in the latter days there would be those who would depart from the faith. That is an expression that means the body of truth is contained in the New Testament record and they would actually listen to and be seduced by the doctrine of demons.
And demons have a number of doctrines. They counterfeit every doctrine of the Bible. We know that Satan has churches that basically are his churches where the ministers are not saved and the doctrines are not biblical and the Jesus that they present is not the Jesus of the Bible and he also of course has his counterfeit of true ministers of the gospel as he has his ministers. In 2nd Corinthians 11 it says don’t be surprised that Satan’s ministers are ministers of righteousness who will actually wind up in hell having their works be the means by which they are attempting to be saved and they will not be saved at all.
And they mislead many, many people. The Bible warns about he has his ministers, he has his worship system and the Bible lists about a dozen things where Satan counts almost every counterfeit, almost everything that is true and precious to the genuine believer. Hopefully that helps a little bit. We’re going to Chris of the New York and Chris, welcome to Bibleline. I’m good to hear from you up there in New York state. Hi, Dr. Hank. Thank you for, and thank you very much.
I can say about two months ago based purely. I can’t tell you how grateful I am. That is a special for your show. I unfortunately have not spent years in May sound. I’m very simple to you and I apologize. But I guess what I’d like to know is did Jesus, is it actually written that Jesus said, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? And it’s… And it’s so, why did he say it given the fact that he is God?
Well the answer is, and that’s a good question and you’re not the first one to ask that, but in Matthew 27 you see him on the cross saying that. And basically death in the Bible is separation. And so what Christ is experiencing as a man, not as God, but as a man, is spiritual separation. God turned his back on the man Jesus as he took your sin and mine and God separated himself from the man Jesus and experienced what we call spiritual death.
That’s what happened to Adam back in the garden. When he took of the fruit, then God no longer fells with him in the garden. And so Adam was cut off from God. And that’s called spiritual death. Every person that’s born into this world is born spiritually dead or cut off from God. the only way that man can be reconciled to God is through the death of his son. So when you trust Christ, that gap of separation is bridged by Christ and what he did for us on the cross, and all of a sudden now, we’re connected again and we’ve become his children and we have access directly to the Lord as believers and as God’s own children.
And so that’s what Jesus is saying. Then later Adam died physically, and of course shortly thereafter on the cross Christ yielded up his spirit and he died physically. So he died spiritually and physically and it’s a picture of him dying spiritually or being separated from God which is spiritual death on the cross for you and me. Alright, well again, I thank you so much. I never repay you for what you’ve done for me. Well, then I keep listening and tell your friends about us up there.
I will, absolutely. Alright, thank you so much. That was Chris up in Utica, New York, telling us he got saved through listening to Bibleline just two months ago. That is exciting. We love to hear those reports and I know all of our audience is thrilled to hear different ones as they tell us of how they’ve come to know the Lord or how they’ve come to know the Lord. order, how they’ve learned so much. We’ve had some tell us that they’ve learned more in just a year with Bible.
I know they have in 30 years in their church. That shouldn’t be because the churches are failing in teaching the Word of God today. But it tragically seems to be more the norm than the unusual. Most people don’t learn much about the Bible in their churches at all. Well, the first half of Bible is just flown and we’re going to You have to go to break here. So keep your radio dial tuned right where it is and you haven’t trusted Christ.
Trust him right now. I wouldn’t wait another second. Jesus is coming and you don’t want to be left behind and certainly you don’t want to die without Christ. So keep your radio dial tuned right here. We’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. It’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Ankeland Strimman. It’s wonderful to be with you. I want to welcome all of our listeners wherever you might be listening. Maybe you’re not listening when we come on the air live, but whenever you do listen, if you have a question, you are welcome to call 800-Number and leave an off-air question.
We’ll try to answer it the next day if we can get to it in time. Then you’ll hear the answer on the program when it airs the next day. If you watch your clock carefully, you can call between 10 and 11 Eastern Standard Time and come up on the program live with us and we’ll answer your question and then you’ll get to hear it later in the day when the program airs in your area. If we don’t air at the same time as we do here in our studios at 10 to 11 Eastern Standard Time.
Also our internet, we’re so excited about now being connected through a streaming source for our television which is called light source and all you have to do is go to my website BibleLineMinistries.org or .com and click on the little TV set up in the right hand corner of the home page and you’ll be connected and you’ll get a chance to watch the program of the week and then dip into archives and watch past programs and the quality is wonderful.
It really is exciting and that means people all over the world can watch the Bible wide program. Maybe you have friends in other countries, relatives in other countries. Well, I don’t care if they’re in Africa or Europe or the Middle East, in Israel, in Jerusalem. They can watch a Bibleline by going to the website in that exciting web. What an amazing thing. And so far, our audience has developed in less than a year to over 10,000 listeners every month on the internet to our radio program and we’re talking about all over the world a hundred and thirty six countries uh…
the only comment not represented is and article and maybe some frozen seal will uh… get a computer and uh… and start watching not too many people are living on an article i’m sure maybe some scientists there might catch the program but the pre-force and certainly uh… we could use your help as we are in the summertime when people are going on vacations and things and we can show you some help if you would like to give a gift to the Bible and it would be greatly appreciated.
Just send it to the Bible and the address that will be given again if you listen carefully or just call or eight hundred a number and our operators will be glad to tell you how you can send a gift or give one by credit card over the phone and can also ask for a resource list or or go to our online bookstore on the website and order there or give a gift there on our online bookstore. We’re now going to return to the stations that have been on break and we will do Bible and Part 2.
If your station doesn’t carry the second half, go to the Internet and catch the full program as often as you like. So here we go Bible and Part 2. Would you like to call Bible and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank I will write for that break and We’re anticipating Jesus coming again. Did you know He’s coming again? Almost every New Testament book makes a clear statement about the return of Christ.
The book of Revelation concludes with Christ is coming again. And we find that in the Gospels, 23 times Jesus says that we’re to watch for His coming. If you’re not watching for the coming of Jesus Christ, you’re delinquent. You’re disobedient to Scripture. That’s right. And a lot of Christians say, oh, I’m not going to bother. People have been saying, this for a long time and who knows when he’s going to come back. Well, let me just tell you that if you’re not obeying what Christ said to do 23 times in the Gospels to watch for his coming, you are delinquent, you’re disobedient as a Christian and shame on you.
You should be looking for Jesus to come back and certainly with the signs that we’re seeing in the news right now, it ought to get you up on the edge of your chair and you ought to be excited and say, wow, Jesus, we believe, is certainly coming soon. The Bibleline of course is an opportunity for all of us to get this message out to people maybe who have never heard it before, you heard just a moment ago, Chris up in New York in Utica telling us how he trusted Christ through Bibleline just two months ago.
We hear these stories again and again and we are so thrilled that we are able to reach people wherever they might be, maybe in their car, maybe in their office, maybe in their home, maybe walking down the street with their radio or whatever in their truck or their car, going about their business and hearing the gospel come right to them as the Lord. I think sometimes matches us up with people that are searching and they come to know Christ.
Wouldn’t you like to have a part in that? And certainly that’s what our partners are all about. Those who give and pray for Bible on are sharing in that exciting outreach that we have in reaching people all over. We had a little lady in the heart of the country watch our television program and she caught just the last half. She called our 800 number and she said that in that little bit of that program she heard the gospel and got saved.
And I’ll never forget what she told her operator. She says, tell that Dr. Lindstrom. I’m going to bless, ask God to bless his socks off. But you know we just have these wonderful reports of people getting saved through the television and through the radio and everybody who gives is going to be sharing, I think, in the fruit that is won by this ministry. That’s what Paul says in Philippians 4 17 certainly became one of my favorite verses years and years ago where Paul says, not that I desire a gift.
He’s saying, I’m really not trying to get your money, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. So this changed my whole attitude toward giving a long time ago and that is as I give to the things of the Lord I will reap the benefit of those ministries as they live for Christ. Now I think there’s a negative here too. In 2nd John 11 it says if you bid a false ministry Godspeed, if you give or endorse or support a false ministry then God God says, you are going to be held accountable and you will be a partaker of their evil deeds.
That tells me to back off. I don’t give to ministries where the gospel is not cleared, where the Word of God is not honored and people are not getting saved. I believe that you need to be a wise giver. As somebody once said, you need to do your giving while you are living so you are knowing where it is going. And you need to find ministries where the Word of God is being proclaimed. You know God, according to Psalm 138 verse 2, has honored His name, rather His word, even above His name.
So obviously the word of God is very special to God if He reveres it and exalts it even above His own name. That’s incredible. And that’s what Bible is all about. Exalting God’s word, we try to quote the Scriptures as much as we can, try to point people to the Bible because it is God’s word that is living in powerful and can bring life to somebody who spiritually did. As we heard Chris a few minutes ago, give testimony as to how he came to know Christ and therefore has eternal life now because he heard the word of God on Bibleline.
I can’t save anybody nor can you. Christ is the Savior, but we proclaim Christ and His Word, and we’re hoping that God will do continuous great things through Bibleline. You can give a gift and become a partner and invest in eternity by sending it by mail to Bible and at 4811 George Road in Tampa, Florida. The zip is 333634 and or you can give a gift by credit card over the phone or if you want you can call our operators and they’ll.
He’s in you an envelope with the address already printed on it. We need to talk about money, but I don’t get paid. Our staff doesn’t get paid. We don’t have a piggy bank or reserve account. We don’t have pledges. Subscribers. We just trust God and God is blessing through listeners just like you who say I want to be a part of that. I would like to help my blind continue and I’d like to stay on the air in my area and continue to grow and expand as well.
And your gift will help accomplish that. We’re going to go to Steve Den and Sarasota, Florida and Steve. Welcome to Bibleline. I’m that number, by the way, is 1-800-5763771. Steve? Hello. How are you doing, Dr. Hank? I’d just like to give a word of encouragement if I could. I’d just like to tell everyone that my dad got saved under Dr. Hank’s ministry. Dr. Hank’s ministry back in 94-95. At that point, I was hearing a lot of work, gospel messages presented.
I finally after three years of being saved, finally understood under Dr. Hank’s ministry that you know just by trusting Christ alone you could never go to hell and and through the years, given the word out, it’s great, and I’m more excited now that I ever have been, including my dad and other Christians we know. And we’re starting to print up maybe 50,000 business cards to try to spread the word on. And we hope to have them available to maybe some listeners in different churches in the the area is just…
but I would like to encourage people to maybe do the same thing. Yeah, maybe you don’t have time to do that. Things you can just want to give a little in a newspaper card made up. Get the gospel on there. Make key things in the Bible. Make sure the gospel is put on place once as you only hope in heaven. You’re and you want to give the word and be obedient but you can never go to hell. You’re chastised by God but I just wanted to say eventually in a couple of weeks not available to people.
All right. Well, Steve, thank you for that word of encouragement. Say, thank Hank. I loved the show last night. I also got up in the morning just this morning. Hi. Wonderful. I think you got a new Bible when you start using that. My only falling apart and I’ve had to kind of been forced to do that. Thank you Steve and we appreciate that word of encouragement. His dad and he also apparently has gotten saved and grown through his knowledge of this ministry through Bible.
We now have anonymous caller in Deerfield Beach Florida and we’re going to talk to Mr. Anonymous right now in Deerfield Florida. I’ve got a dial tone there. I don’t know what happened. Maybe he dropped off. Try to call back and we’ll get you up on the air. We now have Renard in Tampa, Florida and welcome to Bible End. Thank you. I’m wondering what is the bill of punishment and where is it located? Okay. You can go right back to Genesis chapter 9 and right after the flood, God instituted a capital punishment.
He says, if any man would take it on a man’s life, then by man should his life be taken. And as you read through the first five books of the Bible, you’ll find that there was a number of offenses that were capital offenses capital punishment so not only was murder uh… but there was a capital punishment for uh… witchcraft and also for uh… homosexuality uh… for adultery if a person was taught in adultery they were to be taken out in stone and so on so the bible certainly teaches it and uh…
and genesis nine is where it all began where god says that if any man we should take another man’s life then by man should his life be taken. Okay. Okay. Thank you. You’re very welcome and that was Renard in Tampa, Florida and Mr. Anonymous on a different beach is not only here but he’s asking a question offline and so as soon as I get that question he says he wanted to know what the abomination of desolation means. That is in Daniel and also it’s in Matthew 24.15.
Apparently it is a lifelike image of the Antichrist that will be placed in the Third Temple after the Rapture. So when the Tribulation Prayer begins, right after the Rapture a Third Temple will be built in Israel in the Temple Mount and sacrifices will be offered once again. Halfway through the tribulation period, Daniel 927 says that the anochrist will cause those sacrifices.”. the cease. Daniel is then quoted by Jesus in Matthew 24 15 and says he places this image of himself in the temple as Daniel spoke about it.
And that is of course the mark of the second half of the tribulation. But apparently he’s going to make a declaration of people to worship him and he will place his image in the temple being the counterfeit Christ, he will demand people worship him. So hopefully that helps a little bit. We have done down in North Palm Beach, Florida and done. Welcome to Bible Inn. Okay. Good morning. Let me turn my radio down. I’m getting an echo regarding murder.
suicide considered murder. I think some people considered that and we could, but it is not the unpardonable sin. So many people have been taught wrong. And all that came about because Judas, after he betrayed Christ, he committed suicide. He became remorseful and committed suicide. We know Judas went to hell, so they assumed wrongly that he went to hell because he committed suicide. But that’s not true. Judas was never a believer. And in John 664, Jesus said in John 664 that he knew from the beginning who they were that believed not and who should betray him.
So he knew that Judas, and it identifies Judas as the one he’s talking about. And he’s an unbeliever. But that doesn’t mean that we should commit suicide. But John 637 is a great verse. Christ says that him that come with me, I will in no wise cast out. So there’s no sin or no thing you could do toOUP I think you’ll suffer loss of reward. I don’t think that’s the right way to go out of this life. It would be self-murder, certainORK.
It would be self-murder, yeah. I understand why some people do it. They just become in such despair. Sometimes they become so depressed. I don’t think they are thinking clearly They see no way out and they just end it all. And generally, if they could talk to somebody, or especially to know that they’re not ever forsaken. You know, the Lord says in Hebrews 13.5, is a believer, I will never leave you. I’ll never forsake you. So, you know, but some people just feel like they’re so isolated that maybe they’ve lost a very special person in their life, a father, a mother, a wife, a husband, or a child.
and they just uh… feel like uh… that there’s nothing worth living for anymore they take the most but it will not it will not uh… negate their salvation for a great regarding the suicide and the former question that was that just a minute ago capital punishment doctor kirkory ends up in michigan trying to get out of jail he killed people yeah he does that that’s a different ballgame he’s assisting people to take their life and their there i think he’s committed murder i think the answer all right you’re very welcome done keep listening down there in uh…
north palm beach florida on the east coast of florida we now have uh… doctor anonymous more i tell you the quality of the anonymous called is going up every moment uh… in dade city florida and doctor anonymous uh… your under i do not get good a lot of you have to come down some daily meet you and and come out from underneath the the cloak of anonymous yeah I just thought I’d call that the you know these are the courage and we’re even though we have different you know okay yeah yeah uh listen I want you to um uh come up with the part about uh metanoi met metanoi meta me t a means change noia no i a means mind the two words together metanoi is the word that’s translated repent throughout the new testament uh…
except for to uh… other words that are just use one search for well ametha meletize is used twice and it means that uh… a in front of that means no change so it means basically is no change at all i love romance eleven twenty nine which has the gifts and calling of god are without repentance the two words without repentance are the one greek word about the melatas which means there is it’s a irrevocable there’s no change so obviously salvation is the gift of god and god says in that verse it’s irrevocable once you see that you’re stuck Okay now all the pittance like when God repented that was a change of man, correct?
In the Old Testament, well, actually God doesn’t change his mind, but he gives the appearance of changing his mind in those verses where it says he repents. In fact, 86% of the time in the Old Testament it is God who does the repenting. And in Genesis 6 you see that first instance where God really was disappointed with how man became corrupt and totally turned against him and he did. I’m certainly sure that something he didn’t want to really do, but had to destroy all flesh to keep the gospel going by sparing no one in his family, but destroying all the rest.
Kind of, it’s not a good thing without the tongue. No, you cannot. So, but it does not mean to turn from sin. It means to change your mind. And when you do trust Christ, you do change your mind. It’s a part of trusting. But you can’t change your mind before trust. Yeah, you can change your mind and not believe. So you can repent and not believe, but you can’t believe and not repent. No, but see what it is you get to go in a circle and God not about confusion So I we got that I believe but listen to death and all the four is sent off to get God attention He got our Experience methanora like you said change the mind.
Okay. What is he changes his mind about? Well, there are several things one and acts chapter two in most every case in the book of Acts When a person is being asked to repent or change their mind, it’s about who Christ is. In Acts chapter 2 at Pentecost, Peter preached to the crowd that had crucified Christ and they crucified him because they thought he was not Christ. They thought he was an imposter, a blasphemer, a counterfeit. But Peter’s message winds up in Acts 2.36 by saying, therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that that Jesus, which one, the one whom you have created, and you have Crucified God have made both Lord and Christ that is his God and he’s the Messiah and they said what should we do?
verse 37 of X two and Peter said repent change your mind But the Greek word look it up in any concordance Electicon and you’ll see the Greek word is metadoya Peter is really saying it is and unfortunately Fortunately, the English word repent was the word that met anoya was translated into. That was bad. The word repent does not mean the same thing as the Greek word metanoia. So it’s a bad translation. And so if you look up the word repent in your English dictionary, you’re going to get a good definition of repent, but that’s a bad translation.
It should have been, and it really should have brought the Greek word into the English language and preachers would be hollering. Metanoia! Metanoia! Instead of repent. And then at least we’d know the right meaning and you just simply change your mind when you trust Christ. I know you did, but I’m asking this and then we can handle. Okay? Okay. Of Krishna, anybody, backslide. Okay? And all of them to get back into fellowship again, what they got to do. They need to confess their sins.
First on one night as a believer. Would that be considered a change in your mind? It can be in some cases you know that will justify the script in the Bible friend Well change you combine you mean yeah Well it changed the change of mind if you read if you have a skill field Bible Schofield points out a number of things that Repentance can refer to a change of mind about Once you’re saved about how you’re living your life or about things that you’re doing in your life that maybe are Contrary to his word or maybe You ought to change in your life so that you can be better able to serve the Lord but also it is used of how a person who when they’re lost how they’re saved that they’re not saved by Turning from their sin, but they’re saved by trusting Christ and and so on and so on
I I had to change my mind about who was who is Christ because I was never taught that Jesus is God But the night I got saved us on the Bible that Jesus was God and I remember saying, wow, if he’s God no wonder he’s able to save me and I changed my mind about the person of Christ and recognized him as being God. And I also was taught works for salvation and I learned that salvation was not of works and I changed my mind about that.
And there were several things that the night that I got saved I changed my mind about when I trusted Christ as my Savior. Okay. Okay. So. So. So. Yeah. All right. All right. We will see you later. Good. Thank you. Okay. And again. Okay. So. We’ll be back. Have a good night. All right. We’ll be back. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. Okay. Thanks. All right. All right. I can tell I keep you excited up there in Dade City, and that’s exciting.
So keep calling. We have some off-air questions. Fay in Mobile, Alabama calls in. She says, in this day, she He says, is there no physical healing? Only spiritual? No, there are physical healings today. But here’s the way I like to lay it out. I believe in divine healing, but I don’t believe in divine healers. The gift of healing where somebody could lay hands on someone and heal them is gone. If it were happening today, then why is it that they don’t raise the dead?
If you read Matthew 10, they were able to raise the dead. They were able to give sight to the blind. They were able to give hearing to the deaf. The people that were lame could walk. I don’t see that happening today, and I believe what we are seeing today is a counterfeit, and they could also, in biblical times, replace missing flesh. I’ve never seen somebody yet go on stage in a healing meeting with one leg and come off with two.
Let’s get real. If these people can really do what they say that they can do, why don’t they, when they come into town, go to the hospitals, empty them out four by four, room by room. Wouldn’t that be great? They never go near the hospital. They never go near the hospital. Doesn’t that tell you something? I have people in our church that are blind. If I knew of some healer that could give them sight, I would drive them there myself.
But they’ve been through that before they ever came to me. They’ve been to meetings trying to get their sight restored and nobody could ever do it. It doesn’t happen. It just doesn’t happen. In fact, a lot of these healers hurt people. We have a lady that was here in our church and she went to many Hens meeting last year. She was slain in the spirit, fell back against the pew, broke her arm between her elbow and her shoulder, screaming at him, paying the total to shut up and they dragged her out of the meeting so she couldn’t disturb the meeting.
Benny hadn’t broke her arm. I think he should have restored it. But instead of bringing her forward and saying Benny hadn’t fixed her arm, it just got broken here, they kicked her out of the meeting and wouldn’t let her back in. She was causing too much of a commotion. It was disruptive. So they don’t tell you about all the ones that get hurt in these meetings and that’s a shame because if we can only have all those people prayed across the stage, I was at the meeting last year and my arm was broken or my leg was broken or I had back surgeries and I was hurt in these meetings.
They don’t let those testimonies occur. So they in Mobile, Alabama, I hope that helps a little bit. Cliff in Fort Lauderdale, Florida calls in with an off the air question. He says he is retired and wants to know how to tie. He wants to give correctly and ask to say he should give on his net or his gross. Well according to Proverbs 3 verses 11 and 12, actually 9 through 12 there is a wonderful passage on giving. It says we are to give the first fruits.
So right up front of all that you take in, you’re going to give the first of whatever you take in to the Lord. And I believe that’s the gross, not the net. But there’s no sense to really argue about that. You know, you’re to make a choice and under grace. You give as you purpose in your heart, the Bible says in 2 Corinthians chapter 8 and 9, and God is going to bless you for your giving. you should give from the heart and it shouldn’t be where you are grudgingly saying, alright, I’m going to keep another dime back for myself or whatever you might calculate with your calculator.
Just give freely to the Lord and God is going to bless you for it. I hope that helps a little bit, but I believe it is the gross.
