You know the Bible tells us in Corinthians that we’re to thank God for his unspeakable gift. And I believe that gift without a doubt is the gift of salvation, the gift of Christ, the gift that was purchased at the cross when God purchased eternal life for you and for me and certainly it provides a great opportunity to witness over the holidays to be able to share how we are thankful for God’s unspeakable gift, the gift of Christ giving His life for you and for me that whosoever that would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.

If you would like to call in our phone number, here is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771, 800-576-3771. And certainly we invite you to give us a call. We’re going to welcome all of our listeners. On the Internet we have thousands and thousands and thousands of listeners on the Internet all over the world.

146 countries from all over the world have logged in and we have regular listeners every month. We also want to welcome all of our broadcast stations and especially some of the newer ones out there, Nashville, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Ohio, and wherever you might be listening from. Give us a call and let us know that you’re enjoying Bible-lined wherever you’re listening. Maybe Kansas City, Missouri, and I got to talk to an assistant pastor the other day from Kansas City, calling in, enjoying Bible-lined there in Kansas City.

We’re going turn to the Bible and then we’ll go ahead and answer our questions. But in Revelation chapter 21, it says, I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. This present earth is going to come to a conclusion when we know it will happen after Christ is ruled on the earth for a thousand years.

We know that that is at least. A thousand and seven years away. If the rapture were to happen today, there would be seven years of tribulation that would follow the last seven years of the Old Testament. A period of time called Daniel’s 70th week of years, and when that seven years is over, Christ will come back and establish a kingdom here on this earth, a peace on earth, goodwill toward men. At the end of that thousand year earthly reign, then the Bible tells us that Satan and his angels and all the unsaved dead of mankind will be cast into the everlasting lake of fire.

That this present earth and all that is in it will be destroyed and nothing will be left. And it says here in chapter 21, and I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away. When did the first earth and the first heaven pass away? Well, we have it in Revelation 20 in verse 11, right at the end of the 1000 year earthly rule of Christ here on this earth.

So again, the earth will end anytime soon because we have at least a thousand and seven years from the moment of the rapture. Again, The Rapture is the catching out of all the believers to meet the Lord in the air, and that could happen at any time. We’ll hear a shout, and up we’ll go, and we’ll be transformed into our new bodies on the way up, and then we’ll be forever with the Lord. Meanwhile on the earth, the earth will be preparing Israel for her King, and at the end of the seven years the nations of the earth will come to war in the Middle East.

Christ will come back and defeat the armies of this world, and He will establish His Kingdom here on this earth, which will be a Kingdom of Peace on earth, Goodwill toward Men. At the end of that thousand-year rule of Christ, then this present earth will be destroyed. You know, Jesus said in Matthew 2435, Heaven and earth, He said, shall pass away, but my My words shall never pass away.” So clearly he indicates that the heavens and the earth will pass away, but that his words would continue on into eternity, that his words would never pass away.

We also learn here in Revelation 21 that John says the apostle sees the holy city, the the New Jerusalem. The Bible tells us that God has a city in heaven. This city is called the New Jerusalem. This city is called the city of the living God. The Bible tells us this is the city where you and I will live. In fact, even Abraham looked forward to finding to finding this city one day. In Hebrews chapter 11 it tells us about Abraham and it says here that he looked in verse 10 of Hebrews 11 for a city which have foundations whose builder and maker is God.

And then it talks about other heroes of the Old Testament and it says here that they They confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims here on this earth, just passing through. It says in verse 14 of Hebrews 11, they say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. Truly if they’ve been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But verse 16 says, now they desire a better country that is in heavenly, wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

In Hebrews chapter 12 it tells us as believers that we are coming to Mount Zion under the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem to an innumerable company of angels and so on and so on. So as believers we are going to one day enter into this city of the living God. The city is called the heavenly Jerusalem. Now this city comes down from heaven and I believe will orbit the new earth and this is of course. This is what Christ was referring to in John’s Gospel chapter 14 when he says, In my Father’s house are many mansions.

If it were not so, he said I would have told you so, but I go to prepare a place for you. Well, this is that place he’s talking about. And this city apparently is in the place where Heaven is, is, which we believe is in the North in our universe. You know the Bible tells us in the Old Testament in Leviticus chapter 1 in verse 11 that they would offer the sacrifices northward before the Lord? Is that a hint?

I think it really is. That the Lord is in the North and they offered the sacrifices northward before the Lord. Psalm 75, tells us salvation doesn’t come from the east or the west or the south, but implies that it comes from the north. That God is the one who from the north is the one who brings about salvation. In Isaiah, when Satan wanted to overthrow heaven, he said in verse 13 of Isaiah 14 that I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north.

So Satan plainly knew about heaven being in the north. And you know, it’s interesting that the Bible talks about a void in the north where there are no stars and the Bible tells us that long before there were any telescopes about thirty-five hundred years ago. In Job 26-7 it tells us that God stretches out the north over the empty place. Nobody knew anything about this place until the 200-inch telescope in Palomar, California discovered that there was a void, a corridor in the north where there are no stars.

That’s right. And today it is a puzzle for astronomers because stars are distributed out there in every direction. But in the north there is a void where there are no stars. How large? Well they say it encompasses 1% of the visible universe. That might not sound like much. And it’s so large that it says, or scientists say, that it would hold 2000 Milky Way’s. No Hershey bars, I’m just teasing, but nobody can imagine how huge this is. 2000 Milky Way’s.

We’re talking about the Milky Way galaxy, which is 100,000 years, light years across. Imagine light traveling at 186,000 miles per second. 100,000 years to go from one end of the Milky Way galaxy to the other. The Milky Way galaxy is quite large, obviously, and 2,000 Milky Way galaxies could fit in this void in the north. Apparently, that is where heaven itself is. And John says he sees this city coming down from heaven. And if we’re getting close, then perhaps maybe the New Jerusalem is already on its way.

But definitely, I think we are close. And perhaps we’re even getting a glimpse of the light from this source. You know, I read an article in the New York Times a number of years ago now, about three years ago, where they said that scientists were puzzled by a point of light deep in the northern sky. When I read the word northern, it caught my attention and they said that the California Institute of Technology where they discovered this point of light said that they were puzzled because they couldn’t read the specter of this light.

They couldn’t break it down and normally they can do that within minutes and determine what they’re looking at. But they said this light didn’t vary. It didn’t erupt. It didn’t change, it didn’t alter. And I thought to myself of a verse in the book of James in chapter 1 where it talks to us about God. And it says in James 1 17, every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. And cometh down from the Father of Lights.

God here is called the Father of Lights. And then it goes on to say, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. I thought about what the scientists were saying about this light, but it doesn’t vary. Here, God, who is the source of light. Does it vary? And so could it be that scientists today with their modern telescopes are actually catching a glimpse of heaven itself that the light is produced by God himself that he is the source of that light as the Bible tells us in Revelation that the New Jerusalem will will be lighted by God himself and will not require the light of another star or sun.

Well, maybe I don’t really know what they’re looking at, but I know this. They are seeing a point of light in the northern sky that certainly is a light different than any other light source they’ve ever experienced. It doesn’t vary. And God, the Bible says the Father of Lights is without variableness. Maybe, maybe, I don’t know, we’re catching a glimpse of heaven. If you like a copy of that article from the New York Times and also an article that I’ve written about heaven being in the north, this style are 800 number and I’ll be glad to mail that out to you.

But it’s a fascinating time when we see the Bible really way ahead of science and then catching up to the truths that are in God’s Word. In any case, this city is quite large. The Bible describes it in chapter 21 of Revelation as being 4 square or length and breadth and height are equal, so it could be either a pyramid or it could be a square. I believe it’s probably a cube in shape and it tells us here that it’s 1500 miles on Now that’s pretty large, 1500 miles.

If you were to put one edge or one corner of the New Jerusalem on Tampa, Florida, the other edge, the end of the edge would perhaps go beyond Boston, 1500 miles. And it would cover a great portion of the United States. But not only that, it would go up in the space, 1500 miles. That’s a pretty big city. In fact, it is so large that it would be larger than the moon. In order to get a grasp on this, if you were to construct a cube that would hold the New Jerusalem, It would have a diameter of 2,600 miles.

That may not mean a whole lot to you, but the moon that you look at every night has a diameter of 2,160 miles. The New Jerusalem would have to have a diameter of 2,600 miles considerably bigger, larger than the moon. is huge and I believe will probably orbit the new earth and this will be the place where you and I as believers will live and enjoy all eternity. There is a great day coming and one of these days you are going to get to enjoy this heavenly city, this city the Bible calls the city of the living God and every believer will live there forever.

The Bible says the nations of the saved will enter into it and no one who is not saved will enter into that city. And we’ll get to enjoy not only the new Jerusalem but we’ll enjoy the new earth. I’m Dr. Hank Hins from the Bibleline and we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. And we want to welcome you to the program and wish you a happy Thanksgiving holiday. And if you have a question, you can call it on the phone right now, 1-800-576-3771.

We have an unknown caller who just called in and says, if one is a Christian and has a terminal disease and commits suicide, will they go to heaven and have eternal life? Well, good question and the answer is of course, yes. John 637, let me have you write that down. John 637, Jesus says, him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out. He doesn’t have an exception clause. He doesn’t say accept you commit suicide. Now, certainly the Bible doesn’t condone suicide, but suicide is not the part of the sin, and if a believer committed suicide, they would indeed still go to heaven.

Jesus said, him that cometh to me, I will in no wise, that means under no circumstances would I ever cast you out. In other words, once you become saved, you are stuck. You have to go to heaven whether you like it or not. And even better than verse 37 of John 6 is John 6 39, where Jesus tells us it is the Father’s will that not one person who has ever come to Christ would ever be lost. Christ says that he is responsible not to lose one, not one, not one, not one.

And so not one person has ever been lost, and if one person were ever lost, then Christ would be a liar, the Bible would be wrong. Look those up. John 637, John 639. Now you can lose out on reward and you will stand and give an account for what you’ve done since you’ve been saved, but it doesn’t affect your salvation. It affects your degree of reward in heaven. Thank you, Mr. Unknown, and hopefully that answered your question for you.

We have Antonio from Spring Hill, Florida, who just called in and said, if you believe God died on the cross for you, and if at some point you start doubting, are you still saved? And again, the answer is yes. He doesn’t say that he will not cast you out until at some point when you start doubting. There are no exception clauses. John 637, him who cometh to me I will know why is cast out. Now certainly doubting is normal, but you don’t have to remain in your doubts and that would be wrong.

So you need to go back to the Bible and I love the verses that assure you that you’ll still be saved. Look if you will for example at 1 John 513. I call this verse the written guarantee. The Bible says, if we believe 1 John 513, I am writing this unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know, K-N-O-W, that you have, H-A-V-E, present tense verb, eternal life. So God says, I put this in writing.

I am writing to you that believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. As a believer, you can actually know you have it and nothing will ever change that. So if you have doubts, go back to the Bible and get those doubts resolved because God speaks very plainly that a believer is saved eternally and cannot be lost and that’s a sure thing. Now what can be lost is your assurance.

What can be lost is your rewards. What can be lost is your confidence and your steadfastness. As a believer, we need to stay into the Bible to be steadfast and strong for God, but salvation is God’s wonderful gift. Annette in Tampa, Florida, just calls in and she leaves this off-air question and she She says, elaborate on as we claim to be children of God and continue in our sin without receiving discipline, then we are bastard children. Well, that is in Hebrews chapter 12 and verse 8, that a genuine believer cannot live as a please because God will discipline his children.

It says in Hebrews 12, 6, for whom the Lord loves, He chases or disciplines every son or daughter whom He receives. So when you are received in the God’s family as your son or daughter by the new birth when you trust Christ, then the Bible tells us that you are His child, and God promises to to discipline you. Verse 8 of Hebrews 12 says, If you be without discipline, if God does not discipline you, then it says you are a bastard, another son.

What it is saying is that you are claiming to be Christian when you are not. There are many who claim to be Christians and are not Christians at all. They have been raised maybe in a Christian environment may be attend a Christian church, but a true Christian is someone who has trusted Jesus Christ alone and his death at Calvary and shed blood as the only means of their salvation. And from that moment on, they become eternally saved and will never be cast out.

and will never be lost. So if you are living as you please in this regard to God’s Word and God is not disciplining you, it would prove that you’re not saved. Mary in Pensacola, Florida, just called in. She says one of your callers said he trusted, but he chose to live in sin. I understand if we can sin as believers, but how can a believer Choose the living. to live in sin. Is it possible he may not be a believer at all?

And of course the answer to that is yes. But he also might be a believer, but he’s asking for trouble because if you choose to willfully sin, then God is going to discipline you. Hebrews 10 verse 26 talks about that. It says even if we sin willfully or though we sin willfully or if we choose to sin willfully, after that we’ve received the knowledge of the truth. It tells us we don’t need to become saved again. It says there remain no more sacrifice for sins because the sacrifice of Christ was sufficient.

We’ll be back and talk more about it in just a a minute as we have a good a break. We’ll be back in just a minute. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. We hope that you’ll continue to enjoy Bibleline over the holidays. We’re going to go to Angel in St. Petersburg and Angel. Welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the year. Hey. Good morning. You sure are. Do you have a question?

Oh, I hear you on the radio. Well, I’m here on the radio too. Yeah, my question is about Calvinism. Let me get away from the radio kind of. Yeah, I have a Calvinism, Calvinist there, and I don’t hold to the belief at all. I think the blast with me towards God, and it discourages the world, big God, in my opinion. But I was kind of wondering if you can give me your opinion about Romans, chapter 9, and I believe like 15 through maybe 20, I think it is.

Okay. We’re talking about, you know, for fail, have I raised some for dishonable purpose and for honorable purpose? I kind of got an understanding of that but maybe more in his death. Oh really what’s going on here is that God did not harden Pharaoh’s heart as concerning his salvation but hardened his heart in respect of letting the children of Israel go. And that was really so that he could defeat Pharaoh and his army and through that the Egyptians and the rest of the world would know that he was the true and living God.

If you’ll turn to Exodus, Angel, let me just read this passage to you. It’s kind of fascinating, but we find here that God had Moses take the children of Israel to a place where it looked like they were entangled and that they were trapped and that Pharaoh could easily bring his troops and kill them. It says in chapter 14, and the Lord’s pick in the Moses saying, Speak unto the children of Israel that they turn and camp before fear her off and mingle and the sea over against male Zephan before it shall you encamp by the sea.

And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, they are entangled in the land. The wilderness hath shut them in. Verse 4 says, And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them, and I will be honored upon Pharaoh. Notice, it doesn’t say I am going to harden Pharaoh’s heart so he doesn’t get saved. But he says I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he will follow after them, and I will be honored upon Pharaoh and upon all of his hosts that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord and they did so.

So this is really what God was doing here. He set Pharaoh up so that he would follow the children of Israel into the Red Sea and then be drowned and he would destroy the whole Egyptian army. The whole point here is so that salvation, which would be a gift by faith alone, could stand. Earlier in the chapter it tells us that the purpose of God according to election might stand. Here is God’s plan that he chose before the foundations of the world.

He said that election would be not according to works, so nobody has ever been saved based upon their works or their deeds. Secondly, it is of him that calleth, and that means God who invites people to be saved. Now invites people to be saved based upon their trust in Jesus Christ as Savior. John 3 16 says it for God so loved the whole human race, the world that he gave his only begotten son as Jesus Christ, that whosoever and that whosoever means anyone that would believe or trust in Christ would not perish, but they would have eternal life.

But the opposite is also true that if they would not believe that they would perish and they would not have everlasting life. And so God chose… The salvation would be by his choice based upon not human works, but simply responding to his invitation. And in the old chapter, bears that out, where he shows later in verse 30, what shall we say then, that the Gentiles, which followed none after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

But Israel, verse 31, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness, verse 32, why, wherefore, because they sought it not by faith. But is it whereby the works of the law, for they stumbled at that stumbling stone? So here you have your Gentiles getting saved by faith, whereas Jews who had the law weren’t meaning up to the standard because they were attempting to do it by their works and not receiving God’s wonderful plan of election by faith, not based on works.

Correct. You know, now that we got the Calvinist and the defense vote, let’s predestinate him. He predestinate you before the foundation of the world. My defense is, you know, Calvinist viewpoint, we’re like pre- you know, pre-dated data like we’re just puppets. And the BAPA talks about for knowledge so i take a book for example and if i wrote this book and is there any need for for knowledge i wrote the book i know about what talks about the elect according to the for knowledge of god the free will well what is talking about the god doesn’t know the future uh…

but he doesn’t know the future because he pre-determined the future as far as your choice what is saying he knows whether you will believe or not believe on christ But he doesn’t make your choice for you. In other words, he doesn’t know that you’re going to choose Christ because he’s already made the decision for you. He simply naturally knows the future and knows what choice you’ll make. And it is your choice indeed. So there’s no verse ever that says that God makes the choice for you.

One of the verses that they like to use on that is in Acts 13 in verse 48, which if you read it carefully under your homework you see it. It doesn’t say it at all. It says in Acts 13 I’ll turn there and read this to you. It says, and when the Gentiles heard this, Acts 13, 48, they were glad and glorified the the word of the Lord and as many as were ordained to eternal life believe. They just go nuts on this verse and they say see as many as were ordained to eternal life believe.

But if you look up the word ordained there, it doesn’t mean for ordained. It means a decision made at a point in time. You’ll see it everywhere the word is used. For example, in X15, in chapter 1 here, it says in verse 2, excuse me, chapter 15 of X in verse 2, when, therefore, Paul and Barnumus had no small dissension and disputation with them, and says they determined. And the word determined there is the same word ordained. And it really is not a four ordination for the foundation of the world that God determined, but they are the ones who made the determination here that Paul the Barnumus and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem under the Apostles and the elders about the question.

So basically here it should read back in Acts 13 as many as were determined to have eternal life believed. So at that point in time as they chose to want to have eternal life, they believe, Acts 1348 and the one of, I could go to a bunch of illustrations on how the word ordained is used and it never means for ordained in this particular case. It always means a present determination on the part of the parties involved and next 1348, it should read that way as many as were determined for example to have eternal life believed.

So they made the choice themselves. God didn’t make the choice for them. But they try to make this out to be a for ordination. Yeah. Just a bad translation from the Greek into the English. Correct. I’m going to hang up now. I’m just going to throw this out and let you scrap it little. You know, the… The Calvinist doctrine as far as I create this group of people for heaven and this group of people for hell. And I know, you know, John 3 16 for God so love the world.

You know, but you know what when they either, you know, meet the guys here, you know, I mean, so they’re presenting me. So if you can go to meet out there. But I’m gonna hang up and I’ll let you just, you know, talk about that. But I appreciate you and you’re a real blessing to me. Well, thank you very much. Actually, what God chose was all those out of the world that would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.

Obviously, it’s God’s intention for the whole world to be saved, for God’s love the world. And Christ was given in order to pay for the sins of the whole world. But he chose to save all those that would believe in Christ. The Elmighty said it as best shows you’ll ever hear it. The Whosoever wills are the elect and the Whosoever won’ts are the non-elect. But if you look at Ephesians 1-4, and this is one of the favorite verses of Calvinist, It says according Ephesians 1-4, according as ye have chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world.

And they look at that and they say, see, how do you answer that? According as ye have chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world. Well the key phrase there is in Him and that is in Christ. The Bible tells us that it is our choice that places us into Christ. So God chose basically everybody in Christ to go to heaven out of this world and He did that before the foundations of the world. But your choice to be in Christ is yours and occurs when you place your faith in Christ.

Let me give you a good cross-reference. It’s Philippians 3-9. It says be found in Him. The same phrase in Him is used in Philippians 3-9. And if you go right to the last two words it says by faith. Be found in Him by faith, be found in Him by faith. So in other words, everybody that places their faith in Christ is then placed into Christ’s body by God the Holy Spirit, the moment of belief. God has chosen to save everybody who is seen by God in Christ and you’ll go to heaven.

It’s like this, there may be an airplane leaving this afternoon from Tampa to Chicago. The airline has determined months and months ago that that particular flight leaving this afternoon will fly nonstop from Tampa to Chicago. It is your choice, though, whether you want to buy a ticket and be on that airplane or not. In other words, God has chosen everybody on flight Jesus to go to heaven. But it is your choice whether you’re going to have a seat on flight Jesus.

So if you trust Christ, you are then placed into flight Jesus and God has chosen everybody in that plane to go to heaven. Just like the airlines has chosen, the deputy getter flight will go nonstop from Tampa to Chicago, God is determined before the foundation of the world, everybody in flight, Jesus will leave planet Earth and arrive safely in heaven. But your passage on that flight is obtained when you trust that Jesus died and paid for all of your sins at the cross.

So hopefully That helps Angel. Thank you for your call today. That was Angel in St. Petersburg that just called in. Okay, we have a bunch more off-air questions. Where does it read? Keith Odessa calls in. Where does it read that there is no God before me and no God after me? That is Isaiah 43-10. God says there that there was no God formed before me, neither shall there be after me. And that really is a powerful verse that destroys the Jehovah’s Witnesses who teach that Jesus Christ is a God created after Jehovah or Yahweh.

If you read Jehovah’s testimony or Yahweh’s testimony in Isaiah 43 10, he says, there was no God formed before me, neither shall there be a God formed after me. So Keith, it’s Isaiah 43 10. All right, Diana, or Dina in Tampa calls in, of our affairs. She says, when we accept Christ as Savior, you say we can live as we please. Where in the Bible does it say that? I am saying that nothing you can do after you become saved will ever cause you to be lost.

If you live as you please, you’re going to get spanked. If you live as you please, you might go to heaven sooner than you plan on going. But eternal life is a gift and is not based upon how you live your life. So in Hebrews chapter 12 it tells us that believers who sin are going to be disciplined. And it says if you are not disciplined by God, it proves that you are not a child of God, that you are a bastard and not a son, you are someone claiming to be a Christian who really is genuinely not.

So certainly I don’t advocate living as you please. nowhere does the Bible tell us that we should do that. We should live our lives pleasing to the Lord and that we should not choose to live life however we choose to live it. But if you did, you would still go to heaven, but I’m afraid that God would have to intervene in your life and certainly it wouldmun not make any sense would okay we have joe in st peterburg and he says was p Calif Canad and the answer to that question is yes he was married but apparently he is a wife passed away and so he gives advice , that basically because of the times of percucution that you remain as he was and that was without a wife, so you recommended against Marizer during that time of Christians being held in the prison and properties being confiscated and so on.

The second question accompanying that is please explain Matthew 1681 and of course there is not 81 verses in that chapter so there’s got to be something wrong with that question. So chapter 16 of Matthew only contains 28 verses so there’s no possible way I can answer that. Call back and tell me what verse youWOOD I’ll do that but definitely Paul was a married man but he apparently was widowed. His wife apparently died. Let’s see here. We have Michael in Utica, New York and he says, he explained the parable of the talents.

Does it mean that we don’t go to heaven? And of course the answer is no. In the parable of the talents you have three different individuals mentioned there. And the first two are saved and he says, well done thou good and faithful servant. He calls them good, that means they’re saved. In Romans chapter 3 and verse 12 it says there’s none that doeth good, no not one. In Matthew 19 Christ said there’s none good but one and that is God.

So obviously for God to call someone on on this earth as a human good means that they become a believer and have the goodness or righteousness of God credited their account. Now the one because he saved enters into heaven but also because he is faithful he is given a degree of reward. The third fellow is known as called wicked. That means he was never a believer and is standing before God in his own righteousness which is wickedness. In addition to that he was also slothful.

So unbelievers go to hell because of their unbelief but also he’s going to be judged according to his works and assign a degree of punishment and hell. So the whole point here is that the first two fellows in the parable of the talents in Matthew 25 are saved. They are called good, Whereas the third one is called wicked. He’s not a believer at all and he’s cast into outer darkness. Okay. We have Antonio in Spring Hill, Florida, and he says, if you have faith in God, but don’t agree with every doctrinal teaching, can you still be saved?

And the answer is yes. You know, as you grow as a Christian, you’ll come in line with God’s Word on many things, but you don’t have to believe everything in order to be saved, but you must believe in the death. The barrel, the resurrection of Christ. You must believe Jesus Christ is God who took on human flesh, who went to the cross, paid your sin debt and full, by his death and shed blood was buried and came back again from the dead.

When you trust Christ as being the Savior who died for you, God will save you. Then, of course, as you grow as a Christian, hopefully you’ll come in line with other doctoral teachings from God’s Word. We have Floyd here in Bay City, Florida. And Floyd, welcome to Bibleline your own here. How you doing, Dr. Ann? Good. Hey, I’m here, and you know, I, you’ve been listening to you, and I really enjoy your program, sir. I’d be glad that you came back on that.

You’ve been here. And I know sometimes I may have some questions, you seem like I’m trying to trip you, but you know, you know, I mean, well. And this is my question here. I was a lady called up and it took all those problems with my call and she was standing up in the mouth. She explained it pretty good and you stand in front of him and I agree with you that God gives us the freedom to choose right from alone even though God’s the Bible is our blueprint that we just read the Bible.

We shouldn’t really have a major problem. you know walk in the christian life but there are some people after they trust christ they are still hooked in the world and they watching jesus put track they’re watching uh… backsliders and other christians that’s not really into exploring everybody off you know we need to follow the blueprint of jesus christ and it will help us walk everyday life and talk everyday life and we wouldn’t be causing a lot of this confusion.

So you stand up there and you’re doing the right thing and then the other one is not saved at all. So what we need to do is sort of watch each other. Just watch Jesus and I think the problem will be solved right there. Great point. Floyd, you were right on the money and thank you so much. But it’s true. We don’t need to be looking at other people. We need to be looking at Jesus or the Bible. Then everything will come out nice and clean.

Thank you for that call. We have Jonathan in Richmond, Virginia calling in. He says, give some scriptures on Jesus fulfilling the law. Well, in Matthew 5, Christ said, I didn’t come to do away with the law, but he says I came to fulfill the law. So John 5, 17, and 18 are a couple of good verses. You might want to look at Jonathan. Hopefully that will help you. All right, we have a little bit of time left. The questions are still coming in, and we hope to get to yours soon.

But we are about ready to end today’s program, and we’ll be back, of course, again, tomorrow. And the rest of the week, I hope you’ll have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. The Bible says that we are to thank God for his unspeakable gift, 2 Corinthians 8-9, which I believe is chapter 9 verse 15, rather, of 2 Corinthians, which I believe is the gift of eternal life, the gift of the forgiveness of your sin, the gift of being able to go to heaven to be with the Lord forever and ever and ever.

Thank all of you today who have been listening and those of you that have called in and hopefully the program has been a blessing to you.
