Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. We look forward to being with you every day Monday through Friday as we come to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor.

Merry Christmas. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and we’re glad that you’re able to be with us today and we hope you’ll join us all week long as we bring the Bibleline program to you. And I hope you’ll pass that word along to your friends and help us grow our audience and let others know about the Bibleline program. We had a wonderful Christmas here at Calvary Community Church, and we also saw a lot of visitors that came from sometimes a great distance.

We had some come from the land, Florida, Hollywood, Florida. Those are pretty good distances from us here and some from out of state that came and visited with us that are Bibleline listeners. And we were excited to be able to meet those of you that listened to the program. If you ever get a chance to come to Florida, please do drop in and say hi. You’re always welcome to come on a worship day, but during the week you can usually find our resource center open and take a look at our resources and we’ll get a chance to meet you.

We hope that your holiday was a safe one and a good one and hopefully that you’ll continue to share this good news of Christ coming into this world as you talk to people over the next several weeks because this is a still a great opportunity to tell people about Jesus Christ so I hope that you will take advantage of the season. You know when Christ was just 8 days old, they circumcised him according to the Old Testament Law. It says in verse 21, and when 8 days were accomplished, Luke 2, 21, for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus.

And of course Jesus is from the Hebrew Yeshua, which is a combination of two Hebrew words. That’s personal name in the Old Testament Hebrew is four consonants. Y-H-W-H. Nobody’s really sure how to pronounce that. And in the King James time, they put three vowels there between the four letters and came up with Yahovah or Jehovah. And then later, a more recent group of scholars have come along and suggested two vowels. and that’s Yahweh is the popular pronunciation today. And who knows, we may find that both are wrong.

But there’s another Hebrew word, Yasha, Y-A-S-H-A, which means salvation, and Yasha along with Yahweh is Yeshua. And Yeshua in English is Jesus, I’m so amazed. But you never hear it hardly, Yeshua occurs in the Old Testament over 130 times. That means Jesus, if you put the English equivalent, is actually there in the Old Testament. I remember being on a talk show where I was the guest and the interviewer, the talk show host was Jewish, and I got there just as the program had already come underway.

before I could even set my Bible down and actually get seated in my seat. He says, show me Jesus in the Old Testament. And I said, I can show you Jesus throughout the Old Testament. He says, no, the word Jesus. And of course, I said in English, I can’t show you the word J-E-S-U-S, but Yeshua is there, the equivalent. And it was an interesting broadcast for sure because I was… He was a somewhat of a hostile host. The man who showed the English word Jesus in the Old Testament.

We don’t have that, but Jesus is there. The equivalent you can just put Yeshua equals Jesus. Mark that down someplace because that’s who Christ is. And here in Luke 2 in verse 21, when eight days were accomplished for the circumfizing of the child, His name was called Jesus, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. So notice the Lord had already told Joseph and Mary what he should be called before he was even conceived.

Did you hear that? Before he was conceived in the womb he was already named. And you know a lot of the names of Christ are given in the Old Testament. In fact, in Isaiah 714, an incredible prophecy, given 740 years before Christ ever came, the first time it says, therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign, behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel, one of many names for Christ. I have a list if you You can download it off my internet site, BibleLineMinistries.org, but about 180 names for Christ in the Bible.

There are more! It isn’t a complete list, but what a wonderful study. If you studied one name per day off my list, that would take you over a half a year, wouldn’t it? accomplish just looking at one of the names of Christ each day for 180 days. Wow, Christ is throughout the Old Testament and most of these are in the Old Testament, and Immanuel is one of those names, and Immanuel is a Hebrew word that means God dwelling with you.

Jesus Christ would be God who would actually dwell amongst us here on the earth. Isn’t that exciting? And then in Isaiah 9, 6, another prophecy, again 740 years before Christ came the first time, it says, for unto us a child is born unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called, here’s another name, wonderful. Another name, counselor. Another name, the mighty God. Another name, the everlasting Father. Their name, the Prince of Peace, those are all names of Christ.

And as I said, there are many, many names. My list is up to the 180. I got tired. But there’s over 180, I’m sure. We can continue on. And of course, Christ is God who took on human flesh. And obviously, all of these names are descriptive of who He is. He is wonderful. There is no doubt about it. nobody more wonderful than Jesus who is God. And he’s also called counselor. There’s no one who can give you better advice than Jesus can about anything or everything.

That’s right. And if you read your Bible, you’ll find so much of the wisdom of Christ in the scriptures for us to read and study. And as we digest the Bible and memorize it and put it into our memory banks, the Bible says that we have the mind of Christ that we can appeal to if it’s tucked away in our brains. What a wonderful thing. You know the Bible tells us that the Word of God should be memorized. If you’re not memorizing, let me suggest that you start.

I started and I’m so glad that I did. It required some effort. I used to take three by five cards. I would put the verse out righted out or type it out, on one side and on other side I would put the address. Then I would recite the verse, see if I’ve got it right. Then I would try to quote the address and I would flip it over to see if I’ve got it right, and then I would quote the address.

Then I would say if I could recite the verse, flip it over to see if I got the verse quoted and I would practice it and I would carry them in my pocket. I developed between three and five thousand cards that I would constantly rotate until I had them down perfect. I could quote them to you without failure. Most of those I could still quote today that I had memorized as a new believer and I felt it was important.

I’d have them in my pocket. If I was stopped in a traffic light, I’d pull one or two out of my pocket and go over the moment while I was waiting for the light to change. I tried to use those spare moments to do that. But Jesus Christ is the greatest counselor. And you know Christ says… Verily, verily in John 524, he that heareth my word. Have you listened to what Christ says? He says, if you believe on Him that you would three things, John 524, you would have everlasting life.

It’s in the present tense. That means that the moment you believe you receive everlasting life, I was under the impression and so many people are that you have to wait till after you die. To find out whether you’re going to heaven or not, if that’s what you’ve been taught, you’ve been taught wrong. The Bible tells you that at the moment you trust Christ, you receive eternal life and possess it forever thereafter. I received it in 18 when I trusted Christ and I possess eternal life now and I did then and I will for eternity future.

The next part of the verse Jesus says, as this incredible counselor, that you will never come into condemnation. In other words, you’ll never be condemned, you’ll never go to hell. Once you trust Christ, you are saved forever. You cannot be lost. And lastly, the third thing in John 524, Christ says that you’re passed from death and the life. You know, we’re born into this world spiritually dead. when we trust Christ we become born again and spiritually alive. So what a great counselor he is.

He also according to Isaiah 9, 6 is the mighty God. Wow, God Himself came and took on human flesh. Jesus is the mighty God. Well guess what? The Jehovah’s Witnesses who denied it needed Christ say, yes, he’s the mighty God, but he’s not the almighty God. Well, guess what? He’s also the Almighty God. He is God. And they try to make a distinction and make Christ a created being and make Him a God when He is the God. And obviously that makes the Jehovah’s Witnesses false witnesses.

Because if we deny the deed He have priced, the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ, then we’re false prophets. And obviously the witnesses fall right into that category. They certainly reject what the Bible clearly proclaims. He’s also called the Everlasting Father in Isaiah 9, 6. Jesus Christ is one of the three eternal members of the Godhead, the eternal Father, the eternal Son and the eternal Holy Spirit. He is called here in Isaiah 9, 6, the Everlasting Father. Lastly, He is called the Prince of Peace.

Are you looking for peace on earth? Good will toward men? Well, it will happen when Jesus comes again. I believe that coming of Christ is soon. The raptures first. I’m leaving at the rapture. If you’re a believer, you’re leaving too. We’ll be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and be transformed into our new bodies on the way up. And from that point on forever we’ll be with the Lord in heaven. the scripture is so full and here we find that Christ was named Jesus Luke 221 which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

What a wonderful passage Luke 221 and we’re gonna go to the callers here in just a second the phone number here is 1-800-576-3771 I’m Dr. This is my blind. It’s been great to be with you. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday I did and I love Christmas. I hope you do too. And I hope you continue to tell people the story of Christ and who He is as we obviously celebrate this all year long because it’s one of those things that’s forever event.

The fact that Christ came obviously is to be celebrated every day for the believer all year long and we can always tell others about this wonderful gift that He purchased the gift of eternal life. The Bible says which is eternal life. I hope everyone listening today has received Jesus Christ as Savior and received that wonderful gift of eternal life. I’m going to take a look at the phone calls. By the way, we have an offer question. Let me take that one first here.

Charles in New York calls in and he says somewhere in 1st Grandin’s Paul said I myself am a cast away. Well, guess what? That’s not quite a good quote. It’s in 1 Corinthians 9 27 and Paul said that he didn’t want to become a cast away. Well, what is interesting? That word was not really well translated into English. If you have a Scofield, which I recommend, there’s a footnote on this word because it has been misleading for some. And he says here that he says, I keep my body in subjection.

I bring it into subjection lest it by any means. When I preach to other, I myself should be a castaway. Well, the Greek word translated their castaway is a word in the Greek that means disapproved. And what he’s talking about there is either being approved or disapproved. And that’s at the judgment seat of Christ when Christians will be judged for what they have done since they’ve been saved and the result will be reward or loss of reward in heaven.

Our salvation is settled the moment we trust Christ. But as a believer one day you want to stand approved. I like 2 Timothy 2.15, Charles. It says study as a believer. To show yourself approved unto God. That is the positive form of that same Greek word. You want to be approved when he judges the believer. Because you have studied his word and followed the word and kept the word in your life. As a believer, you’ll be approved when you stand before the Lord at that judgment and receive reward.

The opposite here is to be disapproved and many Christians apparently will find themselves Disapproved and they’ll suffer the loss of reward yet they’ll so be saved. Let me give you one more good verse Charles 1 Corinthians 315 it talks about this judgment of works for believers and There it says if any man’s work shall be burned. Let’s say that all you did was not worthy of Reward but was disapproved as far as God rewarding you for your service It says, you’ll suffer loss, loss of reward, but then it says, but he himself shall be saved.

So the believer can never be lost. So Charles in his question says, so how do you say, once saved, always saved? Well, the verse doesn’t say that you would lose your salvation. It talks about not being approved for reward at the Judgement seat of Christ. Paul didn’t say he was a castaway. He said he lived his life in order to be approved, so he kept his life, his body, and his subjection. He kept his life in control, kept himself focused living for Christ.

Charles, I hope that helps. But you’re either saved forever or Charles, you’re not saved. So if you think you can lose your salvation, maybe you’ve never really understood to plan a salvation. Because the Bible says once you believe, as we said in John 5.24, you possess at that moment everlasting life. You’ll never come into condemnation, but you’re passed from death in the life. We have Mark on the line from Newport, Richie, and Mark, welcome to Bible In Thee. Thank you very much, sir.

Listen, come to your church to believe one st. Dolly saved. Well, good for you. That was a smart decision. Okay, now my next question is though, did you were talking about when Jesus died for it, he went down to the death of the earth and brought everybody out that was going to go to heaven, right? That is correct. Okay, but my question is now when Jesus was alive and we remember when he talked when Moses and Elijah and then we’re transfigured and everything?

Yes. I mean, were they dead? I mean, were they in heaven then or not? Well nobody was really in heaven until after Christ rose from the dead, but apparently he pulled him up out of the heart of the earth for that appearance and they were all transfigured and so they were seen as they will be when Christ returns in his second coming. They’re in Matthew chapter 17 in the Mount of Transfiguration. So the disciples were able to see Christ as he will be in his second coming along with him coming back and we’ll be with him at the second coming of prices Moses and Elijah.

I just want to tell you listen to your show and your show helped me get saved. I want you to church down there a couple times and I just want to say that your show brought me to Jesus and I want to start when I get a little more money saved up on the church and you all I listen to you every day and you help all the people about you so much. Alright man well thank you so much and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas part.

Well, you know Christmas to me is… It’s just Lee winning Jesus. I don’t need no presents or anything like that. And I get a little upset at some people like this. I think Santa Claus is part of Satan’s life. And if you take away Santa and you put Satan, if you put an end on Santa, it’s Satan. You got that right. And I’m very, and I think it’s true. I think that we shouldn’t tell our kids about Santa Claus.

And like my one preacher, I went to this preacher yesterday and he made this statement yesterday goes, how many people that celebrate Christmas are actually saved? Well, that’s a good question. You’re right. And a lot of them aren’t. Okay. Well, thank you very much. Thank you, Mark, and God bless you. And that’s wonderful here that you got saved through Bibleline. We had a visitor over the weekend from Hollywood, Florida, and he shared how he got saved listening to Bibleline in South Florida.

Mark, thanks for that call. We have Jim in Tampa, Florida, and he says, there are some angels already bound Which ones are they and are they ever loose? Good question. And of course the answer is all of the angels that followed Satan, a third of the total number of angels, are bound. It says here in Jude chapter 1 verse 6, and the angels which kept not their first estate. And I believe that’s the planet earth. I believe all the angels lived on the earth prior to Adam and Eve.

And the original creation with plants, animals, dinosaurs, and so on. Lucifer ruled over all of God’s angels here on the earth. But it then goes on to say in Jude 1 and 6 that they left their own habitation. They left the place that God had given them to reside. They left the planet earth, they headed toward heaven, trying to overthrow it. They were cast back down to the earth, and then it goes on to say here in Jude 1 and 6, he has reserved an everlasting chains.

That’s right, they’re bound under darkness under the judgment of the great day. Now it’s like on house arrest, but they are chained or destined to go to hell. And so they are never going to be released from that destiny. They’ve already been judged. They’ve already been cast down. They have already been in a sense chained to this destiny of being cast into the eternal lake of fire and they’ll never get loose from that. Yet angels, as Hal Lindsey said in one of his books, are alive and well on the planet Earth, very active.

Satan and his demons, which are the fallen angels, are out there, but they’re bound in everlasting chains unto this day when they’ll be cast ultimately into hell. But it’ll be after Satan is because he gets to be first. And interesting, isn’t it? Jim, thank you for that call and I hope that answered your question for you. We’re leaving for Israel March 12th. I hope you’re going to go. It’s time to sign up now. And if you want the literature, we can send it to you or you can go to my website, Bible on Ministries, go to the homepage and click on Bible on News and you can download the information in the signup sheet, but you need to get serious if you want to leave with us 12 days in Israel.

Number 14 for me will have a wonderful time. I would love to have you be a part of that wonderful experience. I actually studied the Bible all day long and retracing the steps of Christ. We’ll go to the place where He was crucified, where He was buried, and no doubt about it. It’ll be an experience that will change your life. I hope that you’ll be a part of that. Also, we want you to know we still are running that Christmas special.

And if you want it, it is a $100 donation to ByBlind, and you’ll get 20 of our How Permanent or your Salvation CDs. These are great to distribute to people you want to target to win the Christ. If they’ll listen to that CD, a great chance is that they will get saved. It’s just has been wonderfully used of God that way. We’ll also include a copy of the book, Handbook on Personal Evangelism, the best evangelist book I’ve ever read on how to lead someone to Christ.

Then also we’ll include our DVD video presentation of Salvation and some of my articles and it’s not too late to get in on that. Also we’re still offering a year’s worth of my messages 52 CVs of about 50 minutes of message or more. For $250 you can get the whole year’s worth of sermons that I have given from the pulpit here at the church where I pastor Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida. So maybe you’d like to get in on the specials but if you’d like to give a gift to the Bible, it’s not too late to help us this year as we’d like to clear out all of our debts.

And so as you give a gift, maybe you could give a gift to God of Christ by using Bible and has a means of He said, give me that gift. To spread the gospel and give people a say that you just heard Mark tell us that it was through Bible and that he was led to Christ. Do we hear that all the time? How wonderful it is that we’re reaching people that don’t know Christ and they are getting saved sometimes in their car, in their home or wherever they might be when they listen and that is just exciting.

And I hope that you are enjoying my life. by blind passing the word along to your friends and if you’d like to help us out you can do that by telephone you can give it by credit card over the phone or you can mail in a gift to Bible and that address you’ll find is on our website but also you can call the 800 number and our operators will be glad to send you a notebook with it printed on or recited for you so you can copy it down and send the gift into Bible.

Again, thank you in advance for your prayers and your support of Bible and we need your continued prayers and support. We’re going to go to a break and do a second half of Bible and so keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. I’m going to be right back. Don’t go away. Don’t go away. Bible and will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771.

Alright, I’m Dr. England from this is Bibleline and we… We are having fun being with you each and every day and I hope you are enjoying the Bibleline broadcast as we come to you live out of Tampa from our studios at the Calvary Community Church. We are on the pastor and we hope you are aware of our internet. Our website BibleLineMinistries.org or .com is a place where you can find our our radio programs and our television programs and watch them or listen to them 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In other words, whenever it’s convenient for you, you can go to the internet and catch them. Also, we are webcasting our worship service and it’s sitting right there for you. All you have to do is click on the camera on the home page and you’ll be connected to the the worship service. Now it is live on Sunday when I give the message but then if you see nothing up there on the screen that means you go to the archive and you can watch past sermons that are also available.

Our Sunday sermons are available on CD for $5 each and also our Sunday sermons are available on DVD, video for $10. So this is available for you if you’d like to call in and order those. And again, we want to thank you for listening to Bibleline and telling your friends about it and being a part of this. We certainly want all of you to pray for us as we carry out this Bibleline ministry of getting the Word of God out to a world that needs to hear about Christ.

And we thank you for just putting us on your prayer list. Pray for us every day. which do that? Pray for me. And we pray that we might reach out and win people to Christ that have not heard this wonderful message. It seems like we’re living in a time when the message of the gospel is either muddied up, confused, distorted, or absolutely accountative message and not the message of the wonderful free gift of eternal life that the Bible presents.

We are excited about you, our audience, and God bless you, and thank you for all of you who encourage us through your notes and cards that you send, and also through phone calls where you tell us about how much Bibleline has meant, and we have many that tell us that they’ve learned more. In just about a month’s time, then they have in all their years in church throughout their entire lifetime. That is amazing, isn’t it? You know churches today just aren’t teaching the word and that’s the problem.

Well, we’re about ready to do Bible in the second half. So stay tuned right where you are. You can go to the internet and catch it anytime you want, even right now as we go live on the internet every day. And here we go. Stay tuned. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Linz from a question? You can. Pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back from that break.

This is by the line, Dr. Englunds. German, it’s great to be with you. We certainly… I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I did. I hope you did. I hope it was special because you know Christ as your Savior and have received the wonderful gift of eternal life. And if you haven’t, you can do it right now. You know, you don’t have to wait until a certain day of the week or a certain time of day. To trust the Lord, you can do it right now wherever you might be.

Just tell the Lord Lord on the center. I don’t understand much about the Bible. But I don’t understand. about the Bible, but I believe Jesus Christ died for me, paid for my sins in full. At the cross was buried and rose again from the dead. When you trust Christ as your only means of heaven, God saves you. In any case, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and we wish you a happy New Year. Pray for Bible and would you?

Pray for me. If you put me on your list and Bible and on your list, it would be greatly appreciated. And also if you’d like to help Bibleline to make sure this year ends with us not owing anyone your gift would be greatly appreciated. You can send a gift by mail to Bibleline or you can do it by credit card over the phone. And by the way you can call our operators and they’ll be glad to send you a look with our Grespin and all of them or recite it to you or they’ll be glad to take your credit card member and take the gift that you’d like to give via the telephone.

Again, thanks in advance for praying for and supporting Bible, and because you the listeners are the ones who keep this program on the air. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who have supported us this past year with your prayers and your gifts, and God bless you. We hope we get to meet many of you here on this earth, but if not, we’re going to meet in the air because as a believer we are all going to be in that event called the Rapture which who knows it could be that we are living close to maybe this coming year will be the time when we are caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

If you would like to call us here by the line the phone number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We are going to Ken in Clearwater Florida and Ken, you’re on the air. Hi there, happy day after Christmas. I, too, really enjoy your CD, your outcome, your salvation. I sent some, with my Christmas cards to some of my relatives here. I pray that they listen to it. I think if you can get them to listen to it, you’re more than halfway there.

Sometimes it’s hard to get people to sit down and do something like that You know they have their own pride and all kinds of things that you have to deal with so I’m trying that they’ll listen to it then I’ll be in God’s hands. Amen. Amen. We’ll pray the pray the same for you as you Distribute those and the others that many have gotten them over the holiday here and we’re praying for great results as people listen to that CD and hopefully they’ll trust the Lord One question I have for you going into, I was waiting, matter of fact, last night in Matthew, well, it’s in Matthew the end of chapter 25 there.

I think I understand some of that. We were talking about the sheep on the right and the goats on the left. I understand that that’s at the end of the tribulation and the sheep are the ones that are going to be saved and the goats are not going to be saved. Do I have that much right? Yeah, that right. Of course, the sheep are already saved when they come to the judgment and the goats are already lost when they stand at the judgment.

And it’s not because of their works, but because of whether they have been saved or not in the sheep are described here as the righteous. And the Bible says of ourselves, there’s none righteous, none at one Romans 3 and 10, but the righteous are those who have the righteousness of God imputed or credited to their account based on faith. And so we are made righteous in Christ by faith, by trusting Christ as Savior. So these saved are saved because of faith in Christ.

Yeah, I think I understand that. What confuses me is like the last, I guess, starting at 25, 37 and then going to 25, 46 starts to talk about, you know, you gave me water when I was thirsty and now, and then the other people, they didn’t treat somebody well. You know, I get confused and it looks like it’s sort of talking about works there with you know, I just don’t understand. No, what is interesting is that Christ does there’s a third group here.

You know, at the end of the tribulation period, the save and the loss will be gathered together. the valid Doshasaphat and Christ will divide the Safer and the lost. The lost are told to depart from me. Ye cursed and everlasting fire prepared for the devil in his angels verse 41. But the Safer invited to enter into the thousand year earthly reign of Christ. As he says to them in verse 34, the king shall say, The believers come, you blessed of my father and here at the Kingdom, prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

But there’s another group there called My Brethren and I believe Christ Brethren, there are the 144,000 Jewish men who will be evangelizing during the tribulation period. He points out that those that got saved through their witness are apparently appreciative and as those men are all martyred and they’re persecuted and thrown into prison, they came and they supported them. They brought them food and clothing and so on. Whereas the lost, who had no compassion for these witnesses for Christ during the tribulation, did not care whether they starved to death, did not care whether they were cold or hungry.

They just did not bring anything to them. So he’s talking here about how the Jewish brethren of Christ, those that are of the same seed of which he is of Abraham’s Decevincy, 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes will be witnessing and sharing the gospel during the tribulation. And those who come to know Christ will be appreciative and will care for them, whereas the lost will not. But that isn’t what determined their salvation, but he’s just applauding them for what they did because they did get saved and appreciated it, lived for Christ out of the gratitude and thankfulness they had and did care for the hundred-four-two thousand whereas the unsaved did not.

And he points that out. Okay, so those people even though that they might have tried to help, they still could be unsaved, right? No, the unsaved here didn’t help at all. In other words, when you read the story in Revelation 11, when the two prophets are killed, the world has a big party and gets drunk and rejoices over the fact that they’re dead, they’re happy to get rid of these people who witness for Christ. And the same will be true here of the unsaved.

They’ll just be tickled to death. These guys are put in prison and their mouths are shut and they’re not able to speak for Christ. And so they don’t give him a drink of water. They don’t give them the shirt off their back. They don’t give them a meal when they’re hungry. But the saved, who get saved because of these 140,000 are appreciative. They’re willing to stick their neck out and help them to get on a glass of cold water and so on.

If you read verse 40, notice what he says to this first group, the king shall answer to the sheep and say to them, very, I say unto you, in as much as you’ve done it under the one of the least of these, my brethren, These Jewish witnesses in the Tribulation period, you’ve done it unto me. So he applauds them for what they did in the way of their service. And they’re going to be rewarded in heaven for that. You better believe it.

But they were saved because they were sheep. To be a sheep, you have to be born a sheep. To be a goat, you have to be born a goat. The goats were lost, and the sheep were born again and became sheep, and they are the same. to save. And so that has nothing to do with their works, have nothing to do with their salvation. But you know sheep have unique qualities about them. And the sheep obviously here are a feel and indebtedness to those that let them be Christ.

And they will do things to help them. And they’ll be rewarded for that. And the lost will be say good riddance. We’re glad to get rid of these guys who kept talking about Jesus here. And we’re glad they died. and that they were suffered in prison and so on and didn’t care thing about feeding them. Okay, one other clarification. On tribulation, you have two groups of people there that the 144,000 would be trying to get saved. They would obviously be the Jewish people and there would be a lot of dantiles in there, too, right?

Well, of course, and they’re going to save. The tribulation would not save. The result will be millions of Jews will get saved. And also, in addition, there’ll be millions of Gentiles that will get saved of all nations and kindreds and tongues. Revelation 7.9 tells us that I saw a great multitude which no man could number of all nations and kindreds and tongues which were saved as a result of the witness of the 144,000 which are described in verses 4 through 8 of Revelation 7.

So the witness of these 104 to the 1000 is powerful. And many people will get saved and those who get saved as a result of their ministry, this judgment bears out that they had compassion and gave and helped them. So the brethren that they’re talking about here, they would only be like the Jewish part of those people that they will be, they’ll be the specific witnesses. be 144,000 men. The Bible is the first half of the tribulation, and then all of them will be martyred.

In Revelation 14 we see in the second half of the tribulation when it opens, all of them are in heaven. They’ve already been killed for their witness for Christ. But in the first three and a half years, many of them are imprisoned, they are impoverished, and they are helped by those who get saved through their witness. And so they’re not going to be saved by the first half of the tribulation. And they are helped by those who get saved through their witness.

And so that’s what this judgment bears out at the end of the seven years of tribulation that the saved through the evangelism of the brethren of Christ, the hundred forty or a thousand, will be appreciative. But the lost will say good riddance, we’re glad they suffered and died and that they’re gone. Well, I certainly thank you for that. I need to try that more when I read that to the information there in Revelation, so it’s Absolutely. Thank you Ken and take care and have a great day in the safe and happy new year.

We have Tom in Lutz, Florida calls in just now with an offer question. He says explain Revelation 10, 8, the little book. The little book we believe is the book of Daniel. As you go through the book of Revelation, it surveys the seven-year tribulation period that will follow the rapture. And when you get to chapter 10 verse 8, it talks about this little book that John is to read and digest the contents of. And we believe it is the Old Testament book of Daniel.

And from that point on, in the book of Revelation, you’ll see, especially the very next chapter, that Daniel now is referenced numerous times. In the book of Revelation sheds light on that book of Daniel and opens up the meaning of that book of Daniel. So the little book is the twelve chapters of Daniel that now are explained in the latter chapters of the book of Revelation. I recommend my twelve hours of teaching on CD on my Revelation series that I taught and we cover every verse and you’ll find it a very exciting one.

So we cover this in my series on Daniel. I have 10 hours of teaching on Daniel on CD and you’re welcome to call Tom and order those and I think it will be helpful to you. We also have Andy in Clearwater, just called in, off air leaves this question. Did God show mercy to people in the Old Testament? Of course the answer is yes, for sure. That is a merciful God and he showed mercy to those that would trust in Jesus as their Savior in the Old Testament.

And there are numerous verses that talk about, you know, Isaiah is one of my favorite books. It has so much in the way of prophecy telling about the gospel of Jesus Christ. And it says, for example, in Isaiah 52, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of them that bring good tidings, that publish a peace, that bring good tidings of good, that publish a salvation. Well, here are the ones that preach the gospel and got us excited about those who bring it.

And he says, how beautiful are their feet. In chapter 53, he tells the whole story of the gospel and that all that would believe on Christ would be saved and guess what? Here’s what you’re looking for as you go to chapter 55. It says here in verse 7 that God will have mercy upon the one that turns to the Lord for His salvation. It says and turns to our God for He will abundantly pardon Isaiah 55-7. So the Bible is clear that God has mercy upon that person.

Numerous verses. Let me go to one of the Psalms I like very much. If you are seeking the truth, you will find the truth. And notice it says here in Psalm 86 verse 5, for thou Lord art good and ready you forgive? Are you ready for this, Tom? And plentyus in mercy, plentyus in mercy, unto all them that call upon thee. There you have it. And there are many more verses than that. But Andy, that’s the answer. Let me quote that one again.

Psalm 86 verse 5, For thou, Lord, art good and ready to forgive, and plenty is in mercy. And to all them that call upon thee. So, yeah, there’s some great verses and God did show mercy to people in the Old Testament and that’s obviously an Old Testament quote Psalm 86 5. Tammy in Tampa, Florida just called in, leaves this off air question. Do you believe the earth is as old as I hear the scientists proclaim it? Is it billions of years old?

I think so. I believe the earth is very old and I believe that life on this planet was destroyed and then just 6,000 years ago man was placed on the planet. But I believe the earth is very old. I think we have the fossil evidence of the terrible judgment that came upon this earth that’s described in Genesis 1-2. That when the angels left their home here on the planet, a third of them, and tried over-throw heaven, God cast them back down to the earth and judged the earth and all life on the planet was extinguished.

NASA tells us that it happened 65 million years ago. It’s not referencing the Bible, NASA isn’t, but it says that basically the dinosaurs in life was destroyed when a meteor, the size of about 125-mile diameter you can see where they believe it struck in the Gulf of Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula area. There’s a big round area there. You can look at a map and if you take your little ruler and do the calculations, it’s about 125 miles an hour.

They say that it threw up so much debris that the sun’s light was cut off for millions of years. The earth was in darkness just like we read about in Genesis 1 2 that life had been killed and then God prepared the earth for life again and rather recently man’s history has only been, I think, thus far, 6,000 years. And there’s a thousand years to go called the Millennium and then Christ will destroy this Earth. And then we will see a new heavens and a new Earth.

All right, Joe, and Richmond, Virginia, Virginia just called in, leaves this all fair question, looks like we have lots of all fair today, says if we are not to keep the Ten Commandments, then what commandments are we to keep this stated in 1 John 2, 3? Well, those are the commandments of Christ. The Ten Commandments, not to break them for sure, Joe, but we’re not under the law and not under obligation to keep that Old Testament law in order to be saved.

We cannot be saved by keeping the Ten Commandments, but Christ tells us to keep His commandments. We should love our neighbor as we love ourselves, which really embodies all of what was the Ten Commandments. And if you do that, you won’t break the 10 commandments. If you love your neighbor, you’re not going to steal from him. If you love your neighbor, you’re not going to lie to him. If you love your neighbor, you’re not going to murder him and so on.

But Christ tells us one of the commandments is, of course, where to read the Bible every day. How often do you get into your Bible? That’s a commandment. Matthew 4.4, Christ said, men shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. That’s the word of God. Also, he tells us the Great Commission. That’s a command that we’re to go in all the world and preach the gospel To every creature so we’re to share the gospel of Jesus Christ We’re gonna go to Fort Walton Beach and talk to Donna and Donna.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and welcome to Bible And we certainly did pastor and I just want to say a late Mary Christmas to you Thank you My question is referencing to a question you answered to a caller last week and she called in wanting to know what the believers that come back after after the rapture when the millennium starts and What we’ll actually be doing and your answer was that you believed through the scriptures that you gave that we would be like much like the angels, we would not be seen and we would be assisting and serving and helping in that respect, whereas the ones that go out of the tribulations will have bodies reproduced and go on with their lives.

But we will have glorified bodies like Christ has glorified body. So what I need clarification on, you said that our bodies will be glorified bodies and crisis of glorified body during the millennium. So he is my understanding he will be seen. He will be visible. Yes. He will not be seen. That’s just a speculation. I can’t prove it either way. Some have imagined a problem between people and their glorified bodies living on the earth with people in their mortal bodies.

And so I speculate myself just as angels. He says, right now, our serving Christ and our ministering spirits, Hebrews 113 says, to those that are believers that are us. And they are not visible to us, but yet they are their present. Angels are watching over us as we sometimes sing that chorus. And I believe that. And so I think that it’s my view, but we might be visible. This doesn’t say it. And that’s not a big problem whether the switch is on for us to be seen or not seen in our glorified bodies.

But we’ll have to wait and see. The heart will definitely be seen. Who you will definitely be seen? Absolutely. He’ll rule visibly from Jerusalem. Right. Okay. Well, that just, when I heard that it kind of just stirred up a little confusion in my mind and I knew that you would answer it, but we’ll just have to wait until it happens and actually see what it’s like. And my speculation might be totally wrong on that. I usually try to tell people what I’m speculating and what I’m giving fact because when the Bible says, let’s say if the Lord then that’s the way it is.

But when the Bible leaves it open, as in this case, I have a speculation and my speculation is valid as yours and mine could be wrong and you could be right that will all be absolutely very visible on the earth along with the people who are in their mortal bodies. Well, whatever. And I know that it will be fantastic and good for us. Amen. Excuse me, I’ll leave it at that. And excuse me, you have a happy new year.

Well, thank you. The same to you, Donna. Bye-bye. That was Donna up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. We’re so glad that you are a Bible-lined listener. We hope that you’ll tell your friends about the program. We have new people coming online all the time and we’re excited. We’re excited about our people in Memphis, Tennessee, the ones that are in national Tennessee that listen there on the broadcast. Those in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richmond, Virginia, Albany, and Utica, New York, those that are in Lansing, Michigan, Flint and Saginaw, Michigan, for Lexington, Kentucky, for the for Kansas City, Missouri, for Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, Florida, from Dillion, Florida, at all the east coast of Florida up in that area, for those that are listening to the South on 91.3 FM out of Sarasota.

And of course, all those over the Tampa Bay area and other stations that were on. We’re excited about how the award has allowed that to happen, We pray that next year will be a year where we are able to maybe expand even further. Your help though is a real part of that. Would you pray for Bibleline? And your prayers are essential. If you’d like to give a special year in gift Bibleline, this would be a good time to do that.

Just call our 800 number until your operator that answers your intentions and they’ll be good to tell you how to be able to do that. Again, we pray that everybody listening is trusted in the Lord and we know that some of you may not have. But right now you could trust the Lord as your Savior and be assured of going to heaven according to the Bible by simply just telling the Lord right now, Lord I’m the sinner.

we all are. But Lord I believe Jesus died and paid for my sins at the cross. By His death and shed blood, paid my sin debt and full was buried, rose again from the dead and I trust Jesus right now as my Savior to forgive my sins and to give me the gift of everlasting life. The moment you do that, God up and heaven knows that He saves you. Would you do that I hope you would and again we are praying for you and if you have questions we’ll try to answer them here on Bible and for you and if you’re ever in the area we’ll need to come by and visit us and of course you can always come on a worship day and join us for worship services.
