You’d be most welcome to come and we have a dinner coming up this time on the fifth Sunday of this month, on the 25th and you might want to come and join us for that fifth Sunday dinner.

You can also stay for the 1030 worship and then you can stay for the dinner that will follow after the morning worship on the 20th. I think it’s the, forget the date on that, but it’s the last Sunday of the month of April. We’ll get that date for you in just a minute.

But we’re starting a new class. That’ll be happening a week from today and we’ll start that on Tuesday nights and that There will be ten hours of teaching over five weeks, two hours for every Tuesday from seven till nine. You can come and sign up and become a student here in the classroom and enjoy this wonderful series that’s called In Time Controversy, all about this controversy about the coming of Christ. Is there a Rapture? Is there a Tribulation Period?

Is the Book of Revelation still future? And what about these suspect ways of interpreting the Bible that just absolutely erode the whole teaching of the rapture and the tribulation and the second coming of price that are literal thousand-year rule. Well Peter predicted this would happen. Second Peter chapter 3 he said that there would be those that would come along and say where is the promise of his coming? Well we see some national broadcasters saying exactly that today. Are they right?

Well I don’t believe so. We’re going to point out how to be able to defend your position and know what the Bible really does say about the return of Jesus Christ. That will be next Tuesday. And by the way, if you want to get the CDs for that series, you can sign up in advance and get them. That’s $5 a CD or $5 a class or $50 for the entire teaching. Of course, we’ll send them to you after we’ve finished the 10 hours of teaching over five weeks.

But if you do that now, this week, we will also give you the passcode to be able to take this class on the internet and then you’ll be able to expect your CDs to arrive after we’ve finished the 10 hours of teaching. So in other words, if you are going to order the CDs for this new class coming up, if you do it this week only you will receive the benefit of getting the passcode to be able to take this class and see it on the internet at your leisure.

By the way we’re streaming right now to the internet we hope that you’ll take a look by the line at Ministries.org or .com by the line Ministries.org or .com and we hope that you will take a look at some of the radio programs, TV programs and so on. I just got a wonderful email yesterday from a family in England that listened to the Bible and radio and watched our television programs there and they pointed out that we don’t have a phone number on our website.

And so they wanted to call in order CDs and DVDs but didn’t know how to do it by telephone. So we’re going to correct that on our website I hope so that people will be able to call here from other countries. We’re excited about those that are listening and they’re probably going to hear me say this today on the radio as they’re listening over there in England. We have people all over the world. 147 countries have logged in on our website and we met people on our Israel trip that definitely are listening to us in Nigeria from southern Nigeria and northern Nigeria.

I guess we’re coast to coast or border to border or whatever you say. about Nigeria because we’re apparently we’re reaching all over the country there We just got back from Israel. We’re planning another trip and if you’d like to get in on that We had a church yesterday call say that said they had 28 people that want to go with us If you want to go with us you need to get on a prospect list here and we’ll try to keep you informed as we make plans and We had a wonderful time and we’d like to have you get in on the next one.

We’ll probably go again next March and in 2008, but we might also have a special teaching and trip to tape different scenes for television over there, maybe even this October. So if you’re interested, let us know. This one will be very special. And of course, a trip like we took last time in March of next year. Sign up, call us. Let us know. Call numbers 1-800-576-3771. We have a number of all-fairy collars that have left questions. If you want to call in and leave an all-fairy question, you can or you can call in and get up live on the air with us here in a few minutes.

One exercise, some of these, to those people up there in Virginia that have suffered such the tragedy there in Virginia Tech and our hearts go out to all of you that are experiencing that sorrow there, especially a lot of our listeners are up there on our station in Richmond, Virginia, and we certainly are praying for you all. If you have your Bible, open it up for just a minute. We’re going to turn to Mark’s Gospel chapter 4. One of the misconceptions that people have is that Christ spoke in parables to tell a story to make it real clear what he was trying to get across them, and that is the exact opposite of what the Bible teaches.

In Mark chapter 4 it says here in verse 10, when he was alone they were about him with the twelve asked him of the parable. He said unto them unto you, it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, but unto them that are without that is the unsaved. He says all these things are done in parables, verse 12, that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven them.

In other words, Christ is telling us here quite plainly. He spoke in parables to conceal truth, to prevent people from understanding. Look at what it says. I’ll put it again in Mark 4.12. He says that seeing, he spoke in parables, that seeing they may see and not perceive and hearing they may hear and not understand. Less than any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven. Isn’t that amazing? The average person you ask, when you ask, why did Christ speak in parables, they say, well he did that to make a point clear.

That was to communicate a meaning by way of a story, to make the meaning ultra clear to the listener. That is not true. Christ says, let me read it again. I’m reading right out of the Bible. He did these things in parables that seeing they may see and not perceive and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven. Parables were written to concealed truth, not revealed truth.

That’s That’s right, parables were written to conceal truth, not to reveal truth. It’s interesting the Bible is written in that way, where it says in 1 Corinthians 2 14 that the natural man, the unsaved man, the pen that is not born again, the man that is not saved, receive it not the things of the Spirit of God. They are foolishness to him. Neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. Interesting. If you have somebody that says, I need the Bible, it doesn’t make any sense to me.

a tip off to me that they are not saved. First Corinthians 2, 14, I just read it, it says, the natural man, the unsaved man, receive it, not the things in the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can they know them because they are spiritually discerned. So the unsaved person can’t really make heads or tails out of the Bible. I don’t care how smart you are, how many times you’ve read the Bible, one lady told me, she read the Bible eight times.

I didn’t want to embarrass her. He writes it in such a way that it spiritually discerned and the believer has the light of the unsaved person. Because this is a special book, it is a living book written by God himself, uses men yes to write the Bible, but God is the author, and he writes it in such a way that it’s spiritually discerned, and the believer has the light turn on. I remember trying to read the Bible as a kid, and I never understood a thing.

I got saved, and all of a sudden the Bible became alive for me. Now you may not understand everything the minute you get saved to start reading the Bible. But you know, all of a sudden things began to connect, it makes sense. And I began to understand. And obviously the Bible is a special book that I’ve been reading now for many, many, many years. And I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still excited about getting into this book on a regular basis because it’s full of information and it’s beyond any of us.

I don’t think anyone in this lifetime could ever fully learn all that God has for them in the Word of God. That’s right. It’s that kind of a book. But certainly if you’re having difficulty with the Bible, maybe you’ve never understood the pen and salvation. Maybe you’ve never been saved. The Bible does say that the unsaved person can hear the words of Christ and hear those words and believe them and become saved. You know Jesus said in John 647, verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me has everlasting life.

Christ that he that believeth on me, that means to trust on him. When you trust Christ, the light comes on. When you trust Christ, you become born again. When you trust Christ, your sins become forgiven. When you trust Christ, you become a child of God. There are so many things that happen, and once you trust Christ, then the Bible will begin to start to make sense for you. I’m Dr. Englundstrom. I hope you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior. If you haven’t, you can whisper a prayer to say, Lord, I’m a sinner.

I don’t understand a whole lot, but I trust that Jesus died for me and paid my sin that I’m full by His death and shed blood and was buried in rose again from the dead. I trust Christ right now to save me. And God will. I pray that you will. The phone number here if you’d like to call in is 1-800-576-3771. We have an off-air question. I want to take this one from Antonio in Los Angeles, California. He says, can you explain the story of Mark 10, 17-27?

It is obvious that his disciples were not rich, but why did he tell them what he told them? Well, you know, he’s talking there about people who are rich, hardly entering into the kingdom of heaven because they have a tendency to trust their riches. To be saved you have to trust Christ. And you know, some people have difficulty doing that when they feel like they’re okay. Satan has a way of making people feel like they’re okay. I say it often, but Satan presents a heavenly way for people to go to hell.

People that are rich, and I talk to one man and attorney here in Tampa, Florida. We had lunch together, and as I tried to lead him to Christ, he said, look. He says, I don’t need your God. I don’t need your Savior. My house is paid for. My boat is paid for. My cars are paid for. I’m in good health. I don’t owe anybody anything. I’m doing just fine. Then you know what? He said, talk to me in 20 or 30 years.

Maybe I’ll need your God then. Well, you know, it’s a lot of people that are like that. And unfortunately, they don’t realize their need. And just like tragically yesterday, there were 33 at Virginia Tech that didn’t realize it was their last day on the earth. You don’t know when you’re going to die. And if you die without Christ, you’ll be forever lost. And boy, that’s scary. Just like the guy that jumped out of the Empire State Building, somebody on the 80th floor looked out and said, how are the things going?

He said, fine, so far. Of course, it’s not the fall that kills you. It’s that sudden impact with the concrete at the bottom. A lot of people don’t realize that things are fine so far. They don’t realize they’re headed directly for hell if they die without Christ that we forever lost. Antonio, I hope that helps. He’s talking about people with riches are not going to get into heaven if they trust their riches. They need to trust Christ to be saved.

We’re going to go to Arthur down in Belgrade, Florida and Arthur, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Yes, how you doing pastor? Good. Pastor, I have two questions. The first question is, can you explain to me why do people use the word heart in a sense that they say, well, you don’t think that you really can have love and the physical… Well it is dealing with the mind. The Greek word transcendent heart means the center of your thought processes.

Back in 1611, they really thought because your heart reacted or responded to different emotions and thoughts that you did your thinking with your heart. Today, of course, we know we do our thinking in our brain, but we’ll hardly ever get free of that because we’ve been conditioned with those expressions all of our life. It’s not very romantic to tell a girl, I love you with all my brain. But if you say I love you with all my heart, people know what you’re talking about.

But the actual word translated from the Greek language, which the New Testament was written in, means the center of your thought processes. It doesn’t mean your pumping organ. And today, excuse me, we know it’s your brain. In some cultures, I’ve been told by those who translate, I’ve had opportunity to talk to missionaries and those who are with Wycliffe and translate and so on. They say in some cultures, they think you think with your bowels. And so they translate it like, you know, invite Christ into your bowels instead of in your heart.

It’s just a translation problem, the Greek word, the New Testament is accurate when it was written, but how it gets translated sometimes is not always that accurate. Hopefully that helps, Arthur. Okay, can I ask one more question? Yeah, in Proverse 6, the first four or five brushes, I’ve been trying to understand that if you explain that to me, Proverse 6, please. I’m heading here right now. Let’s see what it says Proverbs chapter 6 Proverbs coming right after the Psalms Excuse me here.

We go it says here my son if I’ll be sure to you for thy friend If thou hast stricken in hand with a stranger thou are spared with the words of the mouth basically is telling you don’t Don’t sign cosign with somebody on a loan unless you’re willing to take a loss because people do that and then all of a sudden that person defaults on the loan and you have to pay for it because you have signed. So it’s just telling you to be smart and be careful what you do.

You become sneered. When you say, hey, I’ll do that. I’ll go sign for you. And then they just default on the loan and they They come after you for the to pay the debt. So it’s saying don’t do that unless you have thought it through now If you’re willing to go ahead if that person defaults and just pay it then then you’re at your eyes wide open And you’re walking into situation that you’re fully aware that you might have to pay the whole loan So that’s all I’ll say Alright, thank you.

Okay, Arthur. If you want to do that, that’s fine. But if you do that blindly thinking, oh, I just signed here, I’m helping this guy out and not realize the legal implications that you’re going to put yourself on the line to pay that debt. You need to think it through. We have Joe down in Pimbroke, Pine, South Florida calling in. He says, what does 1 John 516 mean? It talks about the sin and the death. that if somebody is committed that sin doesn’t matter if you pray for them or not, it’s not going to help.

It’s really talking about when God decides to take a believer home early because of some sin that they commit that nothing you do will stop that. I believe there are examples. Ananias and Sapphire, Acts, Chapter 5, lied about the sale of their property and what they did with the money. The Lord took him home. I don’t think it’s the same for every person, the sin and the death for Moses was he spoke the rock instead of speaking to the rock in the wilderness.

And God took him home. The Bible says he was still in good strength. He had great eyesight 2020. the Lord took him home to heaven early because he had sinned in not following God’s instruction. So it’s different for every person and I think the person involved would know what it was that they had done that caused God to want to take them out. But the Lord doesn’t send you to hell but the Lord does take sometimes a Christian home to heaven early.

Well we have a caller from Richmond, from Virginia and welcome to the program LaTries. And hopefully your town is recovering up there from that terrible tragedy. Let’s see here. We’re on one LaTries. Welcome to Bible. Hello. Hi. How you doing? Good. I’m going to have a question. Go ahead. Well, My question is, I’m not going to say I’m a real real season in the world, but I read the word and I understand some of it, but some of it I just don’t understand.

And I’m really, really hungry for the word. The Bible said those who hunger, he didn’t have to hunger the more and those who thirst. He’s so drenched. So I don’t understand because some of it I understand and some of it I don’t. and for him you know to say that it law to the people that are lost i’m not lost so i understand that but but obviously if you are if you’re not saved you’re not going to uh… understand much at all probably about zero but once you’ve been saved in the light comes on you course it’s a lifetime study i’m still learning as i said a moment ago and uh…

uh… and you’ll be learning all of your lifetime and you’ll never completely uh… master the Bible, but you grow in your knowledge and you need to keep at it and it’s a blessing. I think that we can go to it and find the book that and get older. I have a lot of books on my shelf that I’ve read one time and I don’t really intend to read them again. But the Bible is a book I pick up every day and I love to read it every day.

It’s always got something new for me. So I wouldn’t worry about that. I’m just saying that the unsaved person really doesn’t get anything out of the Bible. I remember prior to my salvation, the Bible didn’t make any sense to me. And I have people tell me, the Bible didn’t make any sense. And usually that’s a tip off that they’re unsafe, but you’re not saying that. You’re saying that you still have a long way to go. Well, I am safe.

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. But obviously it’s a learning process. I mean, you’ll never conquer the Bible in your lifetime. So don’t worry about that. But I’m just saying in the parables that Christ spoke, He spoke those parables to keep truth from people that didn’t really wanna know the truth. And so there are people who can read the Bible and never understand anything because they first need to come in faith trusting Christ the Savior. And then God will illuminate their understanding as they study the Scriptures.

Amen, because He says that my people, for lack of knowledge and I ask him for wisdom, understanding, revelation, knowledge and he says, I ask, give it to me. Absolutely. If you say, if I’m asking a myth and I don’t think that’s asking a myth, it’s because, you know. So if you’re a believer, you’re just fine. Just keep listening and keep studying your word and keep asking the Lord to open your understanding. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Thank you for calling.

It was Latrice in Richmond, Virginia. We now have Brad in Clearwater, and Brad, welcome to Bye Bye. Good morning, Pastor Lenstrah. Good morning. I was curious if something, if a Christian dies unexpectedly and he’s present with the Lord, I was just wondering, is there going to be a lot of Christians asking the Lord Jesus Christ, gee, how did I die? That seemed pretty quick. I’ll hang up and listen to your response by radio. I don’t think anyone really knows the answer to that question, but definitely, you know, I’m sure the Lord would accommodate you if you wanted to know how you died or whatever you might ask.

But you might fully remember the experience. I really don’t know that we have an answer to that. there may be some regrets, some sorrow and so on, right up until the time of the new earth when it says then that God comes over and wipes away all tears from your eyes. So Brad, I don’t know. We’ll have to see. What we remember and how significant it is to us. It may be that we won’t even bother to ask that question because we’re so glad to be in heaven in the presence of the Lord.

We have Rocky in Tampa, Florida calling in with an offer question. He says the next possible date for the Rapture. Do you know what it is or when? I believe it will be on the Feast of Trumpets, which apparently is September 12th this year. So when you talk about the time in Israel, it’s six hours difference over here or seven hours difference if you don’t count the daylight savings time. So it’s about 11 o’clock or 12 o’clock here when it becomes Russia, China and Israel.

So it’s really the preceding day and we just have to wait and see. I’m not worried about the particular time of day, or whether it’s just year or not, but if it is this year, it probably will be the September 12th when Rosh Hashanah would start here in America around 12 noon on the preceding day, the 11th. We have to go to break and then we’ll come back and do the second half of my mind. I hope you’ll stay tuned for the second half of your station doesn’t carry.

Go to the internet, you’ll catch the full program and we’ll come back in just a minute and do Bibleline the second half hour. So don’t change your dial. Keep your radio tuned right where it is. I’m not trying to confirm this is Bibleline. We’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. All right, I’m Dr. Englundserman. We are so glad that you’re tuning in to Bible Anemone day.

And hopefully you’re enjoying today’s program. We’ll be back and do these second half of the program in just a minute. But we are glad that you’re listening right now, as we are right now able to share a few thoughts with you. We do have this new class coming up which is very, very, very important because of the time in which we are living. We have such an attack today on the Bible period and on the specific doctrines of the Bible.

Of course, the attack today is on the Second Coming of Christ. We are going to be dealing with those issues and talking about how these views even come about. Why they are persistent is because of the methods of interpretation that people have. I believe that we need to take the Bible literally and certainly that view cannot stand if you have a literal interpretation of the Bible. And that’s just a fact. In any case, if you want to order the series on CD, if you do it this week, it will be $5 a CD or $50 for the 10 hours of teaching.

on 10 CDs sent to your home. We will also give you the passcode so you’ll be able to take this class on the internet and then get the CDs sent to your home after we finish the class. So keep that in mind. Call in and order in advance the CDs and we’ll give you the additional benefit of the passcode to be actually watched the classes while we’re doing them. We’re going to go back to Israel if you want to get on that prospect list you You can call in and get that.

If you’d like to get a resource sheet of our latest books and resources we have, you can call and ask for us the mail at T free of charge. You can also go to the internet by the line ministries.org.com and there you’ll be able to click on our resource center and see all the things that we have available for you. And I hope you will take advantage of that. By the way, we are praying that you have come to know Christ as your Savior.

If you haven’t, you need to trust Him right now. I wouldn’t waste another minute. But, tragic death in Virginia reminds us that nobody knows when their life might end. And certainly those 33 people, I’m sure, did not wake up in the morning thinking this was their last day. In any case, Gavin, given a gift to Vibeline for the month of April, would you do that? You can do it by telephone, by credit card, or you can do it by mail, call us, and we’ll send you an envelope with the address printed on it.

We are gonna rejoin the stations now that have been on break and do the second half of my blinds, so keep your radio tuned right where it is. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida From our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor We’d love to have you combined visit our resource center during the week open every day Monday through Friday for about 4.30 in the afternoon Eastern time you can also come by on a worship day and we have a Next-door dinner this month because it’s a five Sunday month and the last Sunday in April We will be a dinner.

Why not come to the 10th-30 worship or come earlier at 915 for my adult class and we have classes for the children and we have other classes. But come and make it a day and stay for the dinner. That will be right after the morning worship on the last Sunday in April. This is the week of my birthday. I’m going to be having a birthday this week on Saturday. And so we’re excited about that. And hopefully you will maybe consider by blind as a part of the ministries that you might pray for and support.

We certainly need your help. And in order to continue these programs and assure that they continue to stand out, we need your prayers and also your partnership. We’re not trying to get your money. We really want to get the gospel out. And we want you to be a partner so that you might share and no blessings. Let me just quote you a wonderful verse in Philippians where Paul talks to the Philippians about giving. He says, not that I desire a gift, Philippians 4 17, not that I desire a gift.

Paul says, he says, I’m not trying to get your money. But he says, I desire that fruit may abound to your account. You know that when you invest in a ministry that is bearing fruit for Christ, that the fruit of that ministry will accrue to your account as you give to that ministry. That is exciting. So if you want to have fruit rewards in heaven, I believe that giving the Bible on will have you share with us. We’re so excited about it.

We’re now going to be going to Africa on shortwave covering the whole continent and the Lord’s open that door and it won’t cost us anything in that marvelous that we’ve been invited to do that. And so we’re preparing the programs as we speak so that we can be there an hour a day on the continent of Africa, just mind boggling. And I believe God was really saying go for this while we were in Israel as we met some wonderful people, Christians from Nigeria, some from southern Nigeria, some from northern Nigeria that already are listening to the Bibleline on the internet.

And we invited these dear folks to our evening battles at the hotel in Israel, and about 30 or 40 of them came. And one of them stood up and said, I listened to Bibleline back in Nigeria. And we just were just so taken back by that and I said to myself, this is like the Lord saying, don’t miss this opportunity that has opened up for you to go to Africa because Africa is ready and they’re already benefiting from Bibleline because of the internet.

And once we get on shortwave, I’m sure we’ll reach many, many more. Would you pray for us? I mean, these are exciting days and exciting opportunities that the Lord has provided. We are already excited about people being reached all around the world on the internet. We just got a wonderful email from a family that listened and watched our television programs in England and are wanting to order some of those to have copies there in England. And so we’ll be shipping to them.

It’s exciting. We just don’t know who all we’re reaching, but we do know. 37 countries have logged on to the Bibleline website. Have you been there yet? It’s BibleLineMinistries.org or .com. Bibleline Ministries, check it out for yourself. And we hope that you will enjoy Bible and be benefited greatly by it. Pre-force! If nothing else, and if you can give a gift, that would be great. No gift is too small. So. All right. It’s okay. All right. So. So. And.

Okay. Okay. Now. So. So. So. And. So. So. So. So. So. So. Okay. So. Oh. All right. Okay. So. Okay. If you can give a larger gift or a generous gift that would really help Bibleline. So I hope you will. We’re going to go ahead and go back to the phone lines. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We have Glenn and Glenn is in Spring Hill, Florida. Glenn, welcome to Bibleline. Good morning to you, Dr. Hank. How are you doing, sir?

Good. Happy early birthday to you. Well, thank you. I was in the car this past Sunday with my family and my son asked me a question. I didn’t have an answer for it and I told my mom’s going to research it and I think would now be a great time to ask this question. He was reading Genesis and how did they go about it? about having children when all they had, the only other female they had was their sisters.

And I couldn’t come up with a really solid answer for them and I wanted to go ahead and ask you about that. But I had one simple other question I want to ask you when you’re done speaking on that, sir. Alright well I believe the answers they did marry their sisters and obviously there was not a problem with that at the beginning because Adam and Eve were perfectly created. There were no gene defects, there were no possibility of birth defects, and it wasn’t until many years later that God through Moses said that that would be wrong.

And obviously today we have so degenerated as a race that today you don’t even have to marry a relative to have the potential of birth defects. But I think Adam and Eve were absolutely perfect, that it was no problem. And you know, for those that are evolutionists, they have the same thing to be confronted because if you believe in evolution, you still have to have one perfect male that can mate and one perfect female that can mate and then they’re offspring have to enter mate in order to have children.

So, you have the same situation. So for those that like to criticize Christianity saying that we would have to intermarry at the beginning, they have the same problem, but of course we believe that God created man and created him perfect. And the evolution is the saying we’re getting better, which I don’t see. I think we’re getting worse. It’s said that we only use about 5% of our brain. I think Adam probably used 100% of his. I think he was so creative to be able to name all the animals.

Can you imagine never having been exposed to any speech for many other human and to creatively come up with a name for every different animal? I have people in my church that are going to have a baby and they have nine months to figure out the name for their kid and they still can’t do it. They just struggle. I’ve got three kids and we always had a hard time to picking the right one. Basically, Dr. the whole subject in the world of wrong the eyes of god it was a center not wasn’t later most of the people you know basically let the law up that would be wrong that went on right that’s exactly that’s exactly the right story and the other thing i have to be real quick call two thousand eight god final witness and through my ronald weenland and in the book i’m sure you may have heard of him in the book i think i found

page sixteen he boldly claims that he’s one of the two final witnesses spoken of in the bible and i just come and i think i’ve been listening to you i just want to know have you heard anything about this individual ronald we went to thank you doctor and i think i have a great day sir thanks an awful lot and and it was good up in uh… spring hill for the uh… answer that is anybody would make a kind of claim i think it’s a little bit wacko i uh…

haven’t read it or heard of his claims but these two witnesses are clearly uh… men that have great power if you read revelation 11 it says if anybody would try to kill him that fire would proceed out of their mouth. Does this guy breathe fire? I doubt it also They’ll be able to spike the earth with the plagues turn the waters to the baud just like Moses did and Be able to show up to heaven so doesn’t rain us when Elijah did I think it’s clearly Moses in Elijah That will come back after the rapture during the tribulation period.

So I I think that would totally discredit anything he has to say. I wouldn’t pay much attention to anything that man said if he made that kind of a claim about himself. So that’s my view about this gentleman you just referenced. We’re now going to go to John in Tampa, Florida and John, welcome to my blood. You’re on the air. Thank you. Dr. Heck? Yeah. Thank you very much for your time and for your ministry. I greatly appreciate it.

thank you my question this morning uh… is on james chapter five the last line that said if any of you turn of uh… the center from the air of his way to a statement from death and cover over a multitude of things and just curious whose and change is referring to the referring to the things of the person that you say the jury uh… claim that you’ll cover your own and by saving that person I think he’s covering the sins or that sins would not be prevented, would not be committed by that person that you, I think he’s talking there, I think he’s talking there, I think believers in this particular case, if you notice, and I’m almost there, I’m turning in my Bible here, but James is talking to brethren and he’s talking about the restoring other believers, For example, he says in verse 19, brother, if any of you do air from the truth.

So he thought about another believer and one converted. That means you bringing back to the truth, let him know that he which converted this person who is sinning as a believer from the error of his way shall save us all from physical death where the Lord might have to take him home to have an early and will hide a multitude the sins that sins would not be committed by that person that would have been committed if they had not restored them.

So that’s what I believe is going on there. So you’re not covering past sins but you’re preventing future sins? Yes. I think it’s future sins that are being obviously avoided and not committed by that person because they’re coming back on the path. That’s a great interpretation. One quick question for you. I’ve heard you talk many times about about false oxen bitter cod and different translations of the Bible, but I’ve never heard you tell which preferences of the Bible that you prefer that we read to get the proper translation.

I’d be happy to hang up a little from your response on that. Alright. You know, it’s a difficult problem and I have been raised on the King James and I find it’s really no problem. I think it’s probably although it’s not flawless, but it’s been around for so long that all the reference materials pretty much are geared to the King James. The skill field reference Bible that I have that I use points out in the margin usually when a word has been poorly translated or where it has changed meaning and where there’s confusion over the translation because of the way it was translated.

And that is in invaluable. Many of the more recent translations, although they might solve some of the problems that the King James have presented, usually bring us a host of new problems and it hasn’t been, they haven’t been around long enough for those to be exposed. So I think you’re really almost better off to stay with the King James. Plus the King James is written at a fifth and sixth grade level. So I find that when I leave people to Christ, I leave people to Christ all the time and I get them into the Bible that after a month or two, if they’re into the Bible, these and thou’s just kind of fade away and they’re just fine with the King James.

And there’s something I think about the way it reads. It just, I don’t know, it’s just a great translation. But it’s not perfect and there is no perfect English translation, period. And so I recommend the King James and I recommend the old Scofield notes in the King James edition of the Bible. Thank you for calling in John and now we still have a bunch of off-air questions. Let me see if I could catch a couple of these. Diane in Tampa, Florida says that she has, I guess, flipped God off in anger.

their forgiveness for that. Of course, yes. Jesus had in Mark 3, 28 all manner of sins, and all manner of blasphemies shall be forgiven unto the sons of men. But there is only one sin that is unpardonable, Diane, that is to reject Christ as your Savior. He paid for every sin that you would ever commit past, present, and future when he died on the cross. But if you reject Christ, who is the only remedy for sin, then you’ll be forever lost.

So I hope that helps and I’d die on thank you for calling in. And hopefully this is a question for you. We have anonymous from Tampa calling in and it says, in your opinion, you think Christ will wait another 10 years to rapture us. Well, I think we’re living in that time when he’s going to come back and I don’t really have a date in mind, but he could. No doubt about it. We don’t know the date, but maybe you’re anxious to go now.

But it could be this year. Really could. We see so many things out there happening right now that I think indicate the Lord’s returning to his to rapture side as close. But who knows? Some are suggesting different dates, but I think it’s just safe not to set a date but just watch for him to come every year. Hope that helps. I don’t have a date and I don’t think we ought to be setting a date. Also… We have a question here from Tim in West Jefferson, Ohio.

He says, what is your take on the God-May-God war of Ezekiel 38 and 39? Can this be related to current events in the Middle East? And I think yes, because it’s talking about the Battle of Armageddon. And I think we are seeing the world prepare itself for that war, especially weapons of mass destruction. Armageddon, I think, will be nuclear, and look at Iran trying to get the nuclear bomb. And obviously, when nuclear weapons are used, I’m sure the whole world will become involved in using their nuclear weapons in Armageddon, and that’s what the Bible predicts.

So I would say, yes, that we are watching everything heat up. Joel chapter 3 says that proclaiming this in the last days among the Gentiles, prepare war and we find exactly that’s what’s happening around the world. Nations are preparing for war and they don’t even realize that this is the build up I think for the battle, the Battle of Armageddon that will be coming up and it’s also here called the Gog and Maygog War because Russia will actually initiate it as Russia will attack in the Middle East.

That will set it all off. Thank you for your call. We have another one from Anonymous in Tampa. Please again explain your opinion on children being raptured. Well, all children that have trusted Jesus as their Savior will be raptured. All adults that have trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior will be raptured. All unbelievers will be left behind. So that’s the answer. In 1 Thessalonians 4, 14 it says, if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, then you’re going to be in the rapture.

You’re going to be one of the saved. Okay. It says here, another one from Anonymous, you’re asking a lot of questions here. How did Black people come if If Adam and Eve were black, well, that would answer. If the Adam and Eve were black, then everybody on the earth would be black, because I believe that black is the dominant color in the genes, but apparently, Adam and Eve, therefore, not black. But I believe God changed the skin colors at the tower, people, and nobody knows for sure, but in any case, red, yellow, black, or white, everybody is precious in God’s sight.

I remember seeing that as a little boy. God so loved the world, every human being. So it doesn’t matter what color you are. It matters what faith you are. Have you trusted Christ as your savior? That is the right answer. We have Benjamin, I think Benjamin’s already been on today, but Benjamin, welcome to Bibleline. Good morning. Oh, hi, Benjamin. You’re a different Benjamin, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I just want to know, it is a verse in Isaiah 2620 that God is going to keep his children.

I would like to know, I believe that is something concerning to the grant evaluation. I would like to know, he’s talking there about Jewish people or about this church that is going to keep away from the population. Can you tell us that to me? That’s in Isaiah 26, verse 20, come my people. He’s talking here to Israel, inner thou into thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee. I believe this is the Jewish people, the remnant that will flee when the Antichrist comes into Jerusalem and proclaims that he’s God.

they’ll flee to southern Jordan to the Rock City of Petra, which is 40 square miles of city carved out of the rock, all ready to go. I’ve been there many, many, many times. And this city was lost to the world over the past 2000 years. It was rediscovered to the the world in 1850 by an English archaeologist named Burkhardt. Today it’s quite a tourist attraction to go there and you can only enter by a narrow canyon The Bible is absolutely incredible when you go down through this canyon and look up at the walls and your shear going straight up to 300 feet.

And as you look up you see the blue ribbon of the sky above you and the walls are this beautiful rose red. They call it the rose red city of Petra. And apparently this is where the Jewish people will flee. and God says in Revelation 12 that he’ll miraculously feed them and water them again as the Jews once were fed before in the wilderness as God brought down the manna and brought water forth out of the rock. And so it’s exciting and I believe this is what it’s talking about and it says here, high-nightself as it were for a little moment until the indignation be overpassed.

The word indignation is used many times of the last three and a half years of the tribulation period and that matches exactly with what Revelation 12 talks about that in the middle of the tribulation and for the last three and a half years Israel the remnant in the Middle East that believe will follow these instructions and flee there to southern Jordan and there be protected from the wrath of the Antichrist. Thank you Benjamin for calling in. I hope that answered your question and he’s already hung up.

We have David in Tampa, Florida. David, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the year. Yes, I have a twofold question. The first part of my question, correct me if I’m wrong, and it’s kind of going off to someone that just wrote in a few minutes ago. You were talking about children being saved and going to heaven. I’ve always been told that children if they die as an infant or if they die too young, and an age too young where they never had a chance to receive Christ or get snow, then they automatically go to heaven.

Is that correct? Absolutely, yes. Okay, well the second part of my question, couldn’t this same be said about certain people around the world who have never had a chance to even get to know who Jesus was. For instance, Buddhist or maybe Jews in other countries, people that have never even really had Jesus talk to them, but yet they they follow god and they’re very very religious people what and what happens to those people if they’ve never even had a chance to uh…

to learn about you well you know if there if there are infant children by they go to heaven and that’s the blessing all around the world there are children who die under the education ability to go straight to heaven but otherwise everybody becomes responsible wherever they are because god implants within them a knowledge that he exists Revelation 119, rather Romans 119, and Romans 120 says, therefore they are without excuse. And the Holy Spirit convicts every man, John chapter 16, tells us of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.

So again, the Holy Spirit is seeking them and making them aware that they are responsible and need to seek. And then you have the wonderful promise in Jeremiah 29, 13, and you shall seek me and find me when you shall search me with all your heart. So people around the world, if they seek the true living God, which they are all responsible to do, then God promises to get the message of the gospel to them and they will trust the Lord before they die.

I’ve led people to Christ all over the world. I don’t think that our meeting with each other was by accident. I think it was a part of God’s plan to bring us together, even as He brought us together in Israel with believers from Nigeria that was a blessing to us. I think God arranged that too. The chance of that happening, I thought, was about zero. And yet here we met people listening to Bible line from Nigeria while we were there.

I think God arranges these appointments and that’s a blessing for us as we get a chance to do that. Thank you for that call and I hope that answered your question and we have obviously an incredible Bible that just has all kinds of answers like this. If you want to do further on my internet site, if you look up my articles and look up what about the heathen, I answer that in great detail and a lot of Some people have found that particular article I wrote very helpful when dealing with the question about what about that person in some foreign land that has never heard the gospel and what will happen to them.

Check it out. We have Martha in Mulberry, Florida, calling in. She says, Apostle and disciple, please explain the difference. Well, there were only 12 apostles, but every believer ought to become a disciple. So I consider myself a disciple of Christ, but not an apostle. So the apostles were a gift to the early church, Ephesians 4 tells us that, but the apostles have died off.

There are no apostles today. Hopefully that helps. So, Martha, you can become a disciple, but you cannot become an apostle. We’ve got a run. We’ll be back tomorrow.
