And we have visitors come by all the time that we appreciate meeting them and getting to know you. And we hope that you’ll come and be a part of us this Sunday. We’re starting a new class that’s going to be starting next Tuesday in the 17th of July. And that’ll be on the Gospel of John.
And if you can come and sit in the classroom. That would be wonderful. You can register and do that in advance. So you’re just ready to go when you come on Tuesday night next week. Six weeks, two hours every Tuesday night and seven until nine. And we’ll do 12 hours of teaching on the Gospel of John. Now, if you want to call in and register, it’s $60. I gift a Bibleline to take the class. That will help Bibleline. It will help you.
It’s only $5 for class hour when you break it down. But also we have a special, if you want to take it on the internet, it’s also $60, but you can get in on our special for $100. You can not only get it on the internet, but also will give you the 12 CDs when we finish the class of all 12 hours. And that’s really a good deal. So you get a bargain there. Most people want to get the CDs anyway, because they want to have the class forever in the future.
But if you go to the internet, you’re able to take the class live, but also go back and view it as often as you like throughout the whole class period. You have to call in and sign up and we’ll give you a code to be able to pull that up. Anyway, our internet is keeping us busy. We have a lot of great things on our site. Now when you look at that page there’s a black screen right in the middle. That stays black until Sunday morning when I actually do the message. So you’ll have to wait until Sunday morning for that to become activated. And if you go there about 11 o’clock on Sunday morning and you’ll start seeing the clouds will come across that screen and you’ll hear the old ragged cross, our theme song, and exactly when I begin the message.
That’s when the video and the audio will come up and you’ll be able to watch the service. If you go to the left side, there’s a button that says Archives. There you can see months and months worth of sermons sitting here waiting for you to view. Also it will say classes, but to take the classes or to view the classes you have to have the passcode you have to call in and sign up for that. So keep that in mind.
This Sunday will be the third Sunday of the month. We’ll have our dinner. We’d love to have you come and join us. But if you’re in another city, you can join our worship service by way of the Internet. We got a nice email from a family up in Virginia in Richmond and they’re heading to leave their church because of bad doctrine and are right now viewing our worship service on Sunday morning on the internet. You can do that too but if you are not able to see it on Sunday you can look at it on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday or whatever day of the week you want.
We have a lot of things on that website including our online bookstore. I hope you’ll take a look and check out all the resources we have. By the way, today is our television day and you can catch our television programs tonight at 630 on DirecTV channel 321. At seven o’clock in the West Coast of Florida, you can get our program on the Christian television network.
And it’s exciting. It really is to see how the Lord is using this to reach people. If you have your Bible hand, you were going to go to the Bible and then we’ll come back and we’ll take our callers today. The phone number if you want to start calling in is 1-800-576-3771. It’s 1,800-576-3771. Alright we’re going to go to the Gospel of John and we’re going to turn to John chapter 10. What a great passage this is. There’s so much in John 10 but we’re going to take a little bit of a look here at verse 28 where Jesus said, and I give unto them eternal life.
It’s amazing that I went through 18 years of church before I ever found out that eternal life was a gift. I guess it just never was presented in my church. But the Bible says that eternal life has been purchased by Christ’s death and shed blood and is offered free as a gift to all those that simply put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior. So when you trust Christ as Savior, believing that He died and paid for your sins by His death and shed blood was buried in rose again from the dead God saves you and he says I give unto them eternal life.
It’s not a trial period, it’s not probation, it’s not life until you break your commandment, it’s not life until you commit a sin, it’s everlasting life, it’s eternal life. That’s forever and ever and ever and you receive it according to the Bible at the very moment you believe. Then it goes on to say, and they shall never perish. I love that phrase, they shall never perish. What is that talking about? Talking about the penalty for sin being death. And that if you perished, it would mean not only physical death, but it would mean the second death or the eternal death to be cast into the eternal lake of fire.
In Revelation 20 verse 14 it says they were cast into the everlasting lake of fire. This is the second death. The Bible says in Romans 623, the wages of sin is death. So to pay for sin would ultimately mean that you’d be cast into hell. You wouldn’t want that to happen. But because Christ perished in your place, you don’t have to perish. In fact, this verse says, they shall never perish. If you become a believer, you will never go to hell.
What a great verse, isn’t that great? Write it in your margin. John 1028, Christ says, I give unto them eternal life. Secondly, they shall never perish. Never perish right in the margin of your Bible. You’ll never go to hell once you trust Christ as your Savior. Those who believe you can lose your salvation really don’t have it together at all. Because if you believe you can lose it, you’re really saying you have to work to get it or keep it.
And that means salvation by works, which means you’re not saved at all. that amazing, but the Bible talks about many, many, many the majority of those that will claim to be Christian will be working their way to heaven and not make heaven. And isn’t that a surprise that there will be people that will claim to be Christian that will look like Christians that will walk like Christians that will carry Bibles like Christians and yet they are counting on the fact that they are doing those things in order to get them to heaven and they will not be saved.
You cannot be saved by works. The only way he can be saved is to receive the gift of God, which is eternal life, through faith in Jesus Christ. So in John 10, 128, Jesus is like given to them eternal life, and they shall what? Never, never perish. Never means never. You’ll never perish. You’ll never go to hell once you trust ChristFOX. Thirdly, he says in John 1028, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. Now, in the King James it says neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
But the word man, if you notice there in your Bible is in italics, and guess what? The translators added words to try to help make the sense of the verse clear, and they put them in a It tells to let you know they are not in the original manuscripts. And oftentimes I think they goofed. Here’s my rule. When you read a verse and then has a Talesized words, if you can read the verse without the Talesized words, leave it out.
Scratch it. In this case I believe it diminishes from the meaning because it says neither shall any man pluck the man out of my hand. Well what about a woman? Or what about Satan? What about an angel? Well, obviously I love the way it reads without the word, man, because it says neither shall any pluck the man in my hand. Doesn’t matter what kind of creature it is, UCHIJNothin’ can ever pl DetectedOrigin, out WRITEartneyilialUGE out of the hand of Christ.
In other words, once you become saved, once you trust Christ, you’re held tightly in the hand of Jesus. He’s holding on to you. So many people use that phrase, keep holding on, keep holding on. Hold on to Jesus, keep holding on. Well, you know the Bible doesn’t teach that. The Bible teaches that He holds on to you. And that’s why you can never be lost. Once you trust Christ, He says, I give Him to you, turn life on 1028, you’ll never perish.
That means you’ll never go to hell and neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. So he’s holding on to you. You’re not holding on to him. And in that great, you’re held in Christ’s hand. One lady attending a church where they They believed you could lose your salvation. As she left the church, she told the pastor that she was secure in her salvation, that she was held safely in the hand of Christ, and therefore she was not going to be lost.
Being the sly preacher that he was, he says, ma’am, be careful that you don’t slip out through his fingers. But you know this lady had a great answer. Let me tell you this answer. She says that can’t happen, Pastor, because I am the fingers. Did you know? Did you know? And let me have you look at Ephesians now for just a moment. But Ephesians tells us that when you trust Christ as Savior, you become a member of the body of Christ.
And look at what it says in Ephesians. This lady was smarter than the preacher, for sure. And if you have your Bible open, turn it if you will to Ephesians and take a look at this great verse over in chapter 5 where this lady was drawing on this wonderful truth in Ephesians chapter 5 where it says here in verse 30, for we are members of his body of his flesh and of his bones. Wow! Thesians 530. You were members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
In other words, you can’t slip out of the fingers because we’re a vital part of the body of Christ. If a Christian were to ever be lost once it become saved, a part of the body of Christ would have to be severed. Somebody would have to take a saw or a knife and cut off a part of the Body of Christ it can’t happen. We are the body of Christ. We’re members of his body And of his flesh and of his bones Ephesians 5 30 not a great verse this lady Sure knew her stuff and when that pastor said when she had said that she was secure because she was held tightly in the hand of Christ That none none could ever pluck her out of it out of the hand of Christ She said he said to her be careful you don’t slip out through the fingers
He thought he had her she came right back and says I can’t have him pastor because I am the fingers Check that verse out fiesions 5 30 what a good one. We are members of his body of his flesh and of his bones If I were to be lost a part of the body of Christ would have to be severed off Can you ever imagine that happening? You know, Jesus Christ is God. Who’s going to take a sore knife to Christ and cut off part of his body?
Not going to happen. Not ever going to happen for sure. You are saved forever once you trust Christ and can never be lost. And you know, most people don’t really ever hear a clear presentation of the gospel. And that’s what happened to me. I was raised in church for eighteen years. I was confirmed at Babs Times to modulize, pasteurized, capsized, and I went through all the treatments that my church could offer. But I was never saved. It wasn’t until I was eighteen that I was invited to a study in my neighborhood for teens.
My sister invited me. I didn’t want to go. I did it just to shut her up and to get her off my back. When I arrived and I listened carefully to what they were saying, it only took that one One night I wasn’t dumb. I heard a good deal. God said he loved me. He said Christ died for me. He said he paid my sins in full. He was offering me eternal life and it was going to be free.
I didn’t have to pay for it. He paid for it. I said that’s a good deal. I said, God, I’ll take you up on your gift of everlasting life. I trusted Christ and wow, I’ve had it ever since. And I know I’ll never perish. like John 10, 28 says. I know I have eternal life. It’s not temporary life. And I know that no one or no thing can pluck me out of Christ’s hand because I am held by Christ.
I’m not holding on to Him. He holds on to me. And if I were to try to slip out, I couldn’t because I’ve been made a part of His body. Ephesians 5.30 says, I’m members of His body of his flesh and of his bones. Isn’t that incredible? It really is. I hope you’ve trusted Christ. If you haven’t, you could say, Lord, I’m a sinner. We all are. Just be honest. But Lord, right now I put my trust in Jesus Christ as the one who died for me and paid for my sins by his death and shed blood was buried in rose again.
The moment you do that, my friend God saves you. And if you’re looking for a feeling, don’t so much of Christianity day is based on feeling and the Bible says nothing about that. In fact, the word feel is used five times in the New Testament, always in a negative way. Feelings are up and down and are not dependable. If I were to go by my feeling, some days I might feel saved, some days I might feel lost. I go by God’s word, God said it and I believe it, that settles it.
God’s not going to lie. He’s not going to trick me. If he says I give you eternal I believe him. If he says you’ll never perish, I believe him. If he says I’ll never be plucked out of his hand, I believe him. That’s what the Bible tells us, and I have God’s Word which is never going to change. The Bible says the Word of God liveth in a by-the-th forever and ever. Peter tells us that in 1 Peter 1.25.
The Word of God will never be changed. What God has said is in concrete, and you can count on it. I’m Dr. Inklyn from this is Bible and we’re looking forward to hearing from you. Call us. Would you please that 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. We have Robert in Pomp and O’Beach calls in, leaves this question off here. He says, what verse or verses say that we’re all saints? That is we that are believers. Well, let me have you take a look at 1 Corinthians chapter 1.
This is a great verse. First Corinthians chapter 1, and I think you’ll really enjoy this. First Corinthians chapter 1, the letter to the Corinthians was addressed in verse 2, under the Church of God, which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus. Now the word sanctified from the Greek language, the New Testament was written in Greek, is As a word it means to make pure and holy. At the moment you believe you are sanctified or made pure and holy in God’s sight.
That’s how you become eligible to enter heaven. Hebrews 10-10 says, by the will of God, we are sanctified. As I say Greek word again, it means to make pure and holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. So in other words, when you trust Christ, the Bible tells us that positionally God considers you holy based upon what Christ has done for you. Verse 14 says in Hebrews 10, By one offering you have perfected forever them that are sanctified.
So in other words, this sanctification not only takes place at the moment you believe, but as forever thereafter that you are considered by God as perfect and holy and sinless in God’s sight because of Christ’s substitutionary death in your place. Now, the word sanctified is the verb form, but the noun form is translated to saint. So anyone, Robert, down in Pometau Beach, that has been sanctified… The Bible teaches instant sainthood. That’s right. At the instant you believe, you become saved.
At the instant you believe, you become a saint. I don’t tell too many people, but I’m saint Hank. Your Saint Robert, if you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior, so you’re a believer, for you’re a saint, you can tell your friends you’re Saint Robert. Well, that’s what the Bible teaches. Notice what he goes on to say here. And this verse really makes it clear. Now it says, under the Church of God, which is that Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, that occurs when you trust Christ as your Savior, then it says, call to notice the two words there to be, they’re italics, scratch them out.
I always believe, if you can read the verse without the italicized words, leave them out, because again I think it diminishes the meaning. It should read, those words are not in the original, added by the translators, it should read those that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called what? They were called saints. These people at Corinth, and if you read the rest of this letter, you find that some of them were far from perfect in their actual life. But positionally before God, they were sanctified, they were made pure and holy and God’s sight, anywhere called saints.
The Roman Catholic Church is one of those groups that have a system of making saints. And they say that after you die, they review your life. If you’ve done certain miracles in this tent the other, then they set you up through this process of the edification. call it ultimately you could be declared by the church of Saint. What is crazy about the Roman Catholic system is that they can remove you from Sainthood. Did you know a few years back they took away the Sainthood from Nicholas?
In other words, remember Saint Nick we hear about him at Christmas time, but Saint Nick is no longer Saint Nick he’s He’s just playing Nick. Did you know that? They took away a Saint Christopher. He’s no longer Saint Christopher. They took away a Saint Christopher. He’s just playing Christopher. I’ll never forget. I was visiting in the hospital with a gentleman. Somebody made a lead him to Christ. He had been through war and he was injured. He was in the VA hospital.
He had around his neck a Saint Christopher medal. I was trying to tell him about Jesus and he said, and as he clutched that Saint Christopher metal around his neck, he said, Saint Christopher got me through the war and Saint Christopher is going to get me through this. And I said, I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but did you know that Saint Christopher is not Saint Christopher anymore? He’s just plain Christopher. Boy did I make him mad. I didn’t mean to, but whoa.
I said, Christopher can’t help you. He’s not even Saint Christopher anymore, just playing Christopher. Well, that’s the human system. You can become a saint and lose your sainthood and you can be taken away from me. But when you trust Christ, as we just said, you’re a saint forever. You can never be lost. You’re eternally saved. I hope you like that verse. And notice it includes here in the last part of the verse with all of them in every place.
Call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. So wherever you might be in any part of the world, if you trust Christ as your Savior, You then are also called a saint because you have been sanctified in Christ Jesus. We are going to go to Roger in Mobile, Alabama. Roger, welcome to Bibleline, and you are on the air. My son-in-law, I’m going to do a little bit of trouble on his life. He was wondering whether he’d ever been saved at all.
Here’s this idea among some Christians that you’ve got to perfect the flesh or something, but when one gets saved, they have two natures, and that old sinful man can never be changed. There’s a new creation now, and we die to that old man. And secondly, with the Pentecostals, I worshiped them for a little while. And some of them truly, I believe, came to Christ the way you’re saying. They lean fully on Jesus and trusted in Him for Savior, but they’re doing like the Church of Galatia, and they think they’re made perfect selves to keep the law and so forth in order to maintain their salvation.
I can’t really say within myself that all of these people are lost. Some of them may have come to Christ, just the way you say it. Well, I agree with that. But you really need to err on the side of it. They may not be saved because most of them do really believe in works and have been obviously taught wrong. But I think we ought to make sure that they understand that if they truly are saved, they can never be lost.
That’s why I think it’s an important point to bear out. Otherwise, they really are trusting in their works. And if they are trusting in their works, then they are not saved. So that’s… really important. So I appreciate your point. I certainly agree with you. Everything you said is right on and many, many have been saved and then mistaught. But certainly once you’re saved, you’re saved forever as we pointed out today. If you haven’t trusted Christ, I hope you would just say Lord, I’m the sinner, but I need to trust you as my Savior right now.
And I trust that Christ died and shed his blood as the only means by Solvation. And by the way if you have your pencil there handy would you write this down. There’s an interesting website I just discovered yesterday but it’s a fellow who got saved by watching our television program and he’s got a website telling his story and it’s quite fascinating. I think you’ll really enjoyed this and he was Catholic and now he has become a Christian and his website is called Catholic the number two Christian dot org check it out Catholic to Christian he became a Christian from being a Catholic Catholic the number two Christian dot org and you’ll find a very fascinating story about how he came to Christ by watching Bibleline television.
I’m amazed how God has blessed. And as we read the letter yesterday, we have a fellow right now in Japan who is a Bibleline listener here in the States. And he’s using what he’s learned from us to really do a great job of evangelism in Japan. He said the simple clear gospel that he’s learned from Bibleline. He’s using it there very effectively with the Japanese and we’re praying for you Brian there in Japan. He may be listening to this program because he’s turned a lot of people on to the Bible line program in Japan.
You know we have 149 countries logged in to Bibleline? We have a seven minute video right at the beginning of our website, a presentation that I did on how to be saved. Last month, the month of June, 2800 people watched that seven minute video. Isn’t that amazing? I mean, it’s just amazing to me how God is using Bibleline and how people around the world can tune in and how we’re able to reach people right here, right here from anywhere in the world or are reaching people around the world.
As we talked to you and mentioned earlier, when I was in Israel in March of this year, we We met pastors from southern Nigeria and northern Nigeria that said that they were listening to Bibleline and watching our television programs in Nigeria. That blew my mind. I said, isn’t that amazing that we can reach people in Africa and other parts of the world through Bibleline? And we are. And that’s exciting. You might want to pray for us. You know during the summer months, those were the lean months when Christian giving just crops off for churches and all types of Christian ministries and we’re not an exception.
And this will be a great time for you to step up and help us when there’s a shortfall. So if you could help Bibleline, it would be wonderful. You can do it in a couple of ways. You can do it by giving a gift by credit card over the phone. Call in and our operators will be glad to take your gift by phone over the credit card. you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent and you can mail your gift to Bible and we’ll be glad to send you an envelope with our address on it.
You can go to the internet and go to our website and go to the online bookstore. There’s a place there to give and there’s also a place I think to give on our website where you can, where you watch the worship service. A place there you can give a donation to the Bible and ministry. That would sure be great. I want to thank you in advance for giving because you’re the ones who keep this program going. We have really no other source.
We don’t have any piggy bank. We don’t have a reserve account. We don’t have any pledges or subscribers or nothing. We just trust God. And it’s people just like you who appreciate this ministry who would like to see it continue that step up to the plate and help us continue it. And that’s really the hand of God. We really see Him supply and have now. You know, we started off with a little 15-minute program. We didn’t know how we could afford that.
Then the Lord opened the door for a half hour program. We didn’t know how we could afford that. Well we couldn’t, but the Lord couldn’t. He supplied when we leaped out in faith. Then the opportunity opened up for an hour program. We didn’t know how we could pay for that. We couldn’t really. We didn’t have the funds, but the Lord provided. Then we leaped outside of Tampa and went to other areas. We decided that we just need to get this message out.
Then we went on the satellite, which allowed us to have an easy delivery. where stations around the country could just pull us right off the satellite and put us up on their station. And we didn’t know how we were going to pay for that. And I don’t know how we’d pay for anything to tell you the truth, but somehow we’re still on the air. But it’s the Lord. We know that. And of course He supplies to people just like you.
And we sure thank God for all of you who are the ones who keep this program going. We certainly give God all the glory and all the credit because He’s the one because I sure couldn’t afford to keep this program going and my church couldn’t even do it because it’s bigger than my church. This is really something that requires you to help us and we thank God for all of you who do that. God bless you. Thank you and pray for Bible ed.
And of course we’re excited about some of the things that are happening here over the summer. We’re going to have this new class now, the next Tuesday. We’d love to have you sign up and be in the classroom if you live in the area, but if not, you can sign up and get the passcode and take this class on the Internet. And also, of course, when it’s all done, you could order the CDs, but we have a special going on this week for a gift of $100.
We will not only give you the passcode to take the 12 hours of teaching in the Gospel of John, but when it’s all done, we’ll send you 12 CDs with the 12 hours of teaching on this wonderful book, the book of John, in the New Testament. We’re going to Benjamin in Clearwater and Benjamin welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. Hank. This is Benjamin. Yes, sir. I would like to know in God’s prayer John and the chapter 2, Jesus will refer to the model.
He said, woman, my hour don’t come yet. And then later on in the close, he will refer also to John and to Mary. He is your son and he is your mother. Why Jesus never called Mary a mother? Well, I think he knew of how that that would be misused. You know, Mary was really the mother of the flesh that God took upon himself. And the Roman Catholic Church says he’s the mother of God. He’s not. God doesn’t have a mother.
God doesn’t have a father. God has always existed from eternity past to eternity future. And so he doesn’t have a father or mother. The the man Jesus the flesh had a mother and of course in that sense she was the mother of Jesus but he calls her woman and I think it was to He anticipated what would happen in the future how that this teaching would get Perverted it certainly is not true. Mary is the mother of the flesh And it says in the Isaiah 9 6 what an incredible prophecy 740 years before Christ came the first time Isaiah said in verse 6 of chapter 9, For unto us a child is born.
The next phrase says unto us a son is given. The Bible makes a clear distinction there that they flesh the child was born. That’s what we celebrate at Christmas. But then a son is given, refers to the second member of the Godhead, The eternal Son of God who’s always existing who came and gave himself in that flesh On the cross of Calvary to pay for our sins So Jesus is the God man and the Bible tells us in that very verse his name is called wonderful counselor the mighty God the mighty God the Everlasting Father Shall we call up the Joe’s witnesses and let them know about who Jesus is they deny his deity?
But Isaiah said this child would be called a wonderful counselor to the mighty God of the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. And then the next verse tells us one day and we believe pretty soon Christ will come back and rule over the whole earth and the governments of the world will be upon his shoulder as he will be king and bring peace on the whole earth. Doesn’t look very peaceful right now. The Middle East is boiling right now by the way.
The Turks have got 140,000 troops lined up on the Iraqi border with tanks and military ready to go. Syria has asked their people in Lebanon to withdraw to get out of their apparently Syria is going to come down and I guess strengthen Hezbollah’s grip on Lebanon. We have Iran threatening the world and we right now have a third carrier group speeding into the Middle East and the Persian Gulf area. We have military weapons flooding in the Gaza from Egypt, so a military buildup there against Israel.
And we have China now saying that Syria has a right to the Golden Heights and maybe there’s going to be a military attempt to take over the Golden Heights from Israel by Syria. all kinds of things to be very concerned about. A friend of mine just got back from Sri Lanka and they’ve got problems over there and he said that’s all being financed by Saudi Arabia. Again, the Muslims are trying to take the world over and it’s happening rapidly here and I think we’re asleep here in America.
But Islam is on the move and their goal, radical Islam, is to make the whole world in Islamic State. This is our greatest threat and I think that we’re not awake to that. And then the head of Homeland Security said he has a gut feeling that we’re going to be struck here in America this summer. Wow, well the summer is half over so I guess he has a gut feeling that in the next six weeks I guess it will be struck here in America.
Scary stuff. I’m just so glad I’m a Christian. I’m glad I’m saying back. I’m glad I know the future though, but he raptured up before the worst. looks pretty bad right now but it’s going to be far worse than that once the rapture happens i’m glad that i’m leaving the rapture when the world after that will be plunged into its darkest hours for sure well we’re now going to go to uh… let’s see here we have judith and in st peter’sburg and judith and welcome to my bonjour near hi there good morning good morning i’d like your your uh…
I guess, can I ask today your boldness? And I have a question for you. If you’re in John today, so John 14, it says, if you, I’m sorry, John 1514, if, sorry, John 1415, if you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. That’s the 14. 15 is, this is the question, if you love me, keep my commandments, my misfold. So how can we throw the commandments out the Old Testament? It would be like taking the foundation out from under house and saying, okay, now the house is steady, but it’s not if you throw the foundation away.
that’s the way i believe so can you tell me why why you don’t do that why you are well first of all when you’re reading in john there are crisis saying if you keep my commandments now the commandments of christ are not the same as the ten commandments and uh… we find that uh… the commandments of christ are of course to read your bible to pray and and uh… he’s got a new numerous uh… List of commandments that were to keep and that’s what is talking about the Old Testament law Commandments given from Mount Sinai which not only include the 10 commandments but over 900 commands and laws ceremonial religious and governmental laws that were given and Jesus says over in Colossians that Well here it says it in verse 14 across in this too that blotting out the handwriting of of laws or ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of
the way, nailing it to his cross. And having spoiled principalities and powers, Christ made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it, and therefore let no man judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of the Holy Day or the New Moon or the Sabbath. The Old Testament law was not under law, we are under grace. We do things from the heart, and not because the law says thou shalt not. Basically a lot of people have been under preaching which is now so not now so not now so not but Under grace or what is called the law of liberty or the law of love?
We do it from the heart. I I do what I do because I love to do it. I’m not doing it because I I have to do it I Just enjoy getting up in the morning and I enjoy what I do and I just can’t imagine doing anything else because I do it from The heart I want to tell people about Jesus. I love studying the Bible I love to tell people about what the Bible has to say and And so Christ says if you operate under that principle of love and from the heart, then you’re not going to break the other commandments.
In other words, if you love your neighbor, you’re not going to kill him. If you love your neighbor, you’re not going to lie to him. If you love your neighbor, you’re not going to steal from him. And so on and so on. So the whole principle now has been reversed away from thou shalt not, thou shalt not to… Here’s what thou shalt do because you love the Lord and because you love others. The Christ said if you love me, you’re going to keep these commandments.
Hope that helps a little bit. It’s not the kind of commandments. I agree with that. I agree that he sees our hearts and so therefore whatever state we’re in, whatever, and I believe it’s like children going to kindergarten to college. When you’re in kindergarten, you’re a child, you do as a child does. But when you go to college, when you’ve gotten through that, you’ve studied the scriptures and you get to that point where you should know better, where you, it’s not that you have to have to, it’s because you love him so much.
You love the Father so much. You love Yeshua Jesus. You probably know where I’m coming from because I say Yeshua and for Jesus and Yahweh for God. So you’re a Jewish believer? Yes, I am. I love him and I want to do what he tells me to do. I’m not in disagreement with you. I think that’s really the right approach. We do it because we love him. I’m not serving to be saved. I’m serving because I am saved and I’m grateful for what Christ did for me.
I’ve thought it through a long time ago. I said if he loved me enough to die for me, at least I can do his live for him. Yeah, I understand what you’re saying. And I just want to make one more point. I was Christian all my life. I didn’t even know of any Hebrew roots. Then we did a family trace, and I found out that my mom died when I was one, and she was Hebrew Italian Hebrew. And it was like, oh my goodness, all my life I’d been searching, I went from Catholic to Methodist to Baptist to assemblies of God to holiness.
holiness, and the holiness church, I felt this real call on my life to be ordained minister. I felt that calling. I wanted to tell everyone about this wonderful father, Abba, that I loved so much. And Jesus, Yeshua, that I loved so much. And I just wanted everybody to know what it felt like to be loved by Him. Because when you’re loved by Him, no matter what happens to you in this life, it’s okay. It may seem real bad, it may be a tragedy that befalls you somehow, but it’s only a test, and it’s only going to be for a short period of time, and we’re going to get through it.
If you’re martyred for him, it’s okay because you’re going to be with him immediately after you die. And so, you know, all that you go through in life, you can withstand anything if you love the Father and you’re sure Jesus. I agree and and you know the Bible says that we love him because he first loved us and his love doesn’t mean diminish so he doesn’t love me more on Sunday or on Saturday than he does on Monday so his love is constant it doesn’t change it doesn’t vary and I’m forever loved by him and I think we’re in agreement but I find that when people understand this principle that they are not saved by their works but they’re say by the love of God that He provided Christ to die for you, that they want to serve Him.
And I have people serving the Lord on five continents anyway that I know of that are pastors or missionaries or Bible teachers and they’re doing it because they know they don’t have to do it because they want to. We have Ryan in Tampa, Florida, been patiently waiting. Ryan, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi, Hank. I was just talking about where you were going about saints. And I just wanted to tell you the scripture Psalm 116 verse 15.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. And I think I’ve never been to too many females since I’ve been saved. But I think that should be like one of the main scriptures given at females. and for any Catholic listeners out there, I just wish they would look in their Bible and see exactly what you’re saying and what everybody who’s trying to talk to people are saying. I don’t think I’m going to do it.
All right. Well, you’re absolutely right. You know, when a Christian dies, a saint precious in the sight of the Lord, you know the Lord longs for us to be with Him. And although death is sorrowful for us here, who lose the presence of a loved one one that we have enjoyed their presence from God’s perspective. He looks forward to us being with him and it says precious in the sight of the Lord as the death of the saints. So you’re absolutely right and that means all of us is believers.
Whenever we die it’s precious in God’s sight. He’s looking forward to bringing us home where we’re going live with him forever and ever and ever. We have now a caller off air in Sarasota named Mike and Mike is saying here, the Pope said yesterday in the newspaper that all churches outside the Catholic Church are wrong. Can you comment on that? Well, I think he’s got a reverse. I think that the Catholic Church is wrong, obviously. You see salvation is not in a church or an organization that’s in the person of Christ.
And according to 1 John 5, 12, if you have Christ, you have life, if you don’t have Christ, you don’t have life. And the authority is the Word of God, not a particular church denomination. And any church that doesn’t line up their teaching with the Bible is wrong. So I would say that’s where he needs to readdress this whole thing. And Isaiah 8, 20, it says if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
So if they’re not speaking truth and the Bible is truth, Jesus and John 17, 17 sanctify them through thy word, thy word is truth, the truth is God’s word. And we have to obviously look at what is being taught and then ask ourselves, is it in line with the Bible? Truth doesn’t change, but I’m amazed here. This pope that’s in power now just decided to eliminate limbo. Now, if limbo were ever truth, how could limbo be eliminated by the pope?
Truth is truth, and obviously the fact that the Catholic Church changes their mind about everything on a regular basis tells me that they don’t have truth. But the word of God liveeth and abided forever. Peter tells us that. And Peter tells us that we need to be mindful of what the Scriptures teach. If you read 2 Peter chapter 3, Peter tells us that we should be mindful of the words which are spoken before by the Holy Prophets, which is the Old Testament, and also of us as the commandment of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which which is the Apostles.
That’s the New Testament. So Peter says, go to the Bible. And he obviously points us in the right direction. I think the Pope, if he’s trying to be walking in the footsteps of Peter, ought to do what Peter said. Peter says, check out your Bible and make sure what you’re teaching is in line with the Bible. Certainly the Catholic Church has so many doctrines that are not in line with the Bible. I want you to check out that website Catholic the number two Christian dot org this fellow got saved through Bible and it was Catholic tells his story in an eloquent way I think you really enjoy seeing that Catholic the number two Christian dot org I think you’ll find that remarkable by the way I want to say happy birthday to Chris today this is his birthday and he called in this morning and he said because it was his

Happy birthday, Chris, and thank you for your gift to the Bible and to keep us going today. That was real sweet. And we congratulate you on your birthday. We have hardly any time left, so let me just say if you haven’t trusted Christ, let me Let me just suggest that you just say to the Lord right now, Lord I AMA Center.
