Well, good morning and welcome to Bibleline. I’m great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. We look forward to being with you every day Monday through Friday. This is Monday and it’s good to be with you and thanks for tuning in today.

We will welcome all of the areas that are listening. By the way, we’ll be on in Miami on the 26th of November. If you know folks down in South Florida, let them know that we’ll be on the MCU 1080 on the dial at 10 o’clock in the morning, Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. So let them know so they can tune that in. We’re excited about being on the air in Jacksonville in Deland, Florida, Sarasota, Florida, in Tampa, Florida, in Albany, in Utica, New York, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in Richmond, Virginia, in Chattanooga, Nashville, Columbus, Columbus, rather Memphis, and also in Lansing and Flint, and Saigon, Michigan, and other cities.

We’re excited to be able to be alive in your area. If you have your Bible, we’ll be getting to it in a minute, so get it out and dust it off. We are excited about a brand new week. Thanksgiving is coming up dead ahead of us, and this coming Sunday, the third Sunday, will be the Sunday that will celebrate Thanksgiving and our worship service, We will be having a wonderful Thanksgiving turkey dinner celebration right after the service, after the morning service.

You’re welcome if you’re in driving distance to come and join us for that third Sunday dinner, our Thanksgiving celebration dinner, and stay for turkey. We ought to have plenty of turkey and dressing and all the trimmings and everything that goes along with the Thanksgiving meal we’d love to have you. We’re excited about how our worship services are streamed on the internet and we had a fellow from the U.S. Army Ten-Art Church Service last night and he said over in Afghanistan, he and about ten of his buddies would sit around their laptop and watch the worship service here.

He said that really got them through those difficult days over there in Afghanistan. Isn’t that amazing? that we will never know till we get to heaven some of these exciting things that are happening. Can you imagine 10 guys sitting around a laptop watching Bible and our worship services in Afghanistan. We know there’s a lot of stories like that that we probably won’t find out about till we get to heaven. But thank God for all of you, pray for us, all of you who make Bible and possible by your gifts and by your prayers.

I had a funeral service for a young man. This weekend he was 17. He had muscular dystrophy and died too young. But he was a believer. I had baptized him two years earlier as his dad and got into pool. We put him in and put him under and brought him back up and he was so excited. And you know, there were about fifty people at his service and most of them were unsaved, but we must have had almost forty-five people trust the Lord of Savior.

It was quite a revival. And I was telling his dad, I said, it was exciting. Your son is not only in heaven where he’ll get a brand new body. But I believe he’d get a crown for every person you lead to Christ. And it was because of your son, these people came to the service and they heard about his faith in Christ and trusted Jesus. And so he’s got a load of crowns more than the average believer would probably ever have.

And so your son’s life was significant in people getting saved. Isn’t that exciting? Boy, the dad was so excited and probably listening right now to the Bible and program as they would regularly listen. We’re excited about how God is working and how God cannot use. Each and every one of us to impact, otherwise, for Jesus Christ. And we thank you so much for being a part of the Bibleline program. We’re going to be going to the phone lines. If we can get some phone lines service, apparently, all of our lines are dead in this present moment.

I don’t know what happened. But if you will please just… I don’t know how we can do this, but we might just have to go without live collars today. Somehow we have deadlines and I don’t know what happened. And yeah, so we’re excited where you got guys working on it right now and hopefully we’ll get that all resolved. But it’s going to be with you and thanks for tuning in today. We are planning to go to Israel in February of next year.

We’ll leave on the things the 25th. I don’t have my calendar in front of me. But the Monday of the last week of February will return on Friday, the 7th of March. It will be about 12 days in Israel. And we’re going to have a marvelous time. We’ve got a real wonderful experience planned at the Dead Sea. I think you’re really going to enjoy that. You know the Dead Sea is quite a phenomenon. It is the lowest spot on the face of the Earth.

1300 feet below sea sea level at the surface of the Dead Sea. There is no spot on the earth lower than that and it’s quite quite an experience to go there and to be able to get in the Dead Sea. The water is beautiful. I had this impression before I’d ever gone to Israel that the waters would be black and murky and dark and it wouldn’t be very inviting. the waters of a beautiful blue green color to the men near clear.

You can see right to the bottom and it’s exciting. And so you can’t sink. I mean, if you don’t swim, you’ll find yourself perfectly safe in the Dead Sea because I would lay back on the water and put about an eight pound stone on my stomach and I’m still lying there with my hands and arms up out of the water. It’s quite remarkable. And if you get a piece of newspaper and hold it up, the wind can catch that and you can a body sail on the surface of the Dead Sea.

It’s really fun and quite an experience you’ll never forget. And of course the many other things in Israel, the biblical places, did you know that one of the recent things that just happened this past week and they announced the discovery of the wall that Nehemiah built way back there, 500 years before Christ. Isn’t that amazing? This is a confirmation again of the Bible and its accuracy in the book of Nehemiah, details the story of building that wall and how they have now found the wall of Nehemiah.

Every Every time we turn around there’s another confirmation to the accuracy of God’s Word. This is a book that’s never wrong. It’s always right. And you’ll find that it never fails. And that’s truly exciting. I hope that you have thought about going to Israel with us and we’ll have a brochure soon and you can call and get in on our list. Of course right now I don’t think anybody’s calling anybody because our phone service seems to be totally dead.

I know they’re working on the roads down the street, maybe they cut a line, but we got Sones back. Apparently they’re working again, so it’s not American. Thank you for praying. Alright, if you have your Bible there, get it out and we’ll take a look at a couple of scriptures. But if you’ll turn to Matthew 23, we have Jesus talking here to the religious leadership of Israel. Not a whole lot has changed. It seems since then, but he says in verse 13, roll or judgment unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites.

It says, for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men. For ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer or allow you them that are entering to go in. here is that the religious leaders of Israel were unsaved. That’s right. They were unsaved and they weren’t going to heaven and they were preventing others who would like to go to heaven from going to heaven because their message was wrong. You know, as a brand new believer, I discovered that very early on.

I remember being on the University of Florida campus as a student and I went to visit the different churches and student unions on campus. And I was surprised at what I learned. I remember at a couple of the student unions which are really denominational places where scheme all that denomination and find that. Fellowship or whatever, but in talking to some of those leaders, one of them, in fact, I won’t start naming denominations here, but… He said he didn’t believe the Bible was the Word of God, and didn’t believe in heaven or hell.

I said why do you have this position? Why don’t you resign and get another job? and he graduated from a uh… uh… denominational cemetery i gunned seminary and uh… obviously he uh… had no I had no real faith. I said, this is terrible. I said, students come of your denomination here to find spiritual life and comfort and encouragement. Here you are with no faith to offer them at all. I thought it was a tragedy. It was a wake up for me.

It was a challenge for me. I said, I don’t know, Lord, do you want me to do something about this? I didn’t feel like that was my colleague at the time. The Lord so motivated me because I saw the need. It was so great that I found there was unbelief. And especially I think you see that on the University campus more than any other placement. It sure woke me up. I said, wow, somebody needs to speak up. Somebody needs to tell the truth.

And I made a decision way back then to speak up and tell what the Bible has to say. What we find here in verse 15, it talks about the Genesis, The Bower judgment on the describes and Pharisees, hypocrites, this is chapter 23 verse 15, for you come to see and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made you make him two full more the child of hell than yourselves. Isn’t that amazing? So in other words, when they went out and proselyzed, the proselytes became more dedicated to the false teaching that they had than they themselves were.

I see that in the cults and I see that in other groups. Sometimes the proselytes are more dedicated than the actual founders of that false religious system. In any case, Jesus told them that they had not been born again. He describes a little bit later. He says, well unto you, verse 27, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you are likened and a whiteed sepulchres which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. So what do we learn?

You cannot tell a false prophet by how they look on the outside. They might look good, they might sound good, they might slick their hair just right and be dressed real, really, attractively and so on and so on. And the Bible says that, Christ says on the outside, you’re like whiteed supplicers, which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but within are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. So you can’t tell. Jesus said in chapter 7, I’m at you, beware of false prophets.

They come unto you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. So they appear to be sheep when they are really not sheep at all, but their wolves wanting to devour the flock. But it is 28, Jesus said in Matthew 23, even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within your full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Isn’t that amazing? It is telling you that religious leaders can look really good. They can sound really good. And the only way you can tell whether they have the truth or not is what they believe about Jesus and about the Bible.

Jesus says in verse 33, you serpents. He calls them snakes. He says, you generation of vipers, which is a deadly snake. How can you escape the damnation of hell? I love this question because these religious leaders rejected Christ. Jesus is the only Savior, the only way to heaven. Jesus said in John 14, 6, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life, and no man come unto the Father but by me. So there’s only one Savior, only one way to heaven, and that is Jesus Christ, and because they rejected Him, Jesus said, how can you escape the damnation of hell?

The answer is you can’t. If you reject Christ, you’re going to go to hell. There’s no doubt about it. No one can go to heaven unless they receive Christ as their Savior by faith. When you place your trust that Jesus Christ died, paid for your sins in full by His death and shed blood, was buried and rose again from the dead, God saves you. And that’s got to be the best news you’ll ever hear. And here were religious leaders who looked good on the outward appearance.

But God of course saw their heart. And Jesus said inwardly, you are full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness. So they weren’t saved. And he says, even so ye verse 28 outwardly appear righteous unto men. You know, the righteousness that we need in order to be saved is the righteousness of God himself. And God’s righteousness can only be obtained by trusting Christ and then God credits or imputes that to your account. Every believer is seen as righteous even though the Bible says there is none righteous, no not one.

The righteousness of man is wickedness, but the righteousness of God is credited to the account of the believer. Every believer is seen by God as righteous. I’m Dr. Engleins from Mrs. Bibleline and I believe we have our phone lines back, so we’re anxious to hear from you. What is it called here at 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We would love to hear from you. And again, don’t forget we want to go to Israel and I hope that you’ll join me. It’ll be trip number 15 for me.

We have a lot of folks on our prospective list. We ought to have a great time. It’s a wonderful time just to learn your Bible in a fun way because you’re at the sites, we open the Bible, we talk about the events, and you come home with all these wonderful memories of all the places where the biblical events took place. That is no doubt a real thrill. And our phone number here at Bibleline is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. John calls in from Charlotte, Michigan.

He leaves this off your question. He says a Pentecostal friend tells me that when the rapture happens, we’ll all be in for a shock when we are left behind because we don’t speak in tongues. Oh my goodness. What verse should I use to send him straight? Well it’s interesting that there’s nobody speaking in tongues today, so according to him will all be in shock because nobody will be raptured, but that of course is not true. If you read 1 Thessalonians 414, it tells you what makes you eligible to be raptured and to be saved.

1 Thessalonians 414 says, for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, what is that? the gospel, the message of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ. When you believe that message, the Bible says that you will be in the event of the Rapture. So when Christ comes and shouts, up we’re going to go. It’s unfortunate today that the counterfeit movement of tongues has gained such momentum. It’s a gibberish. It’s done by every world religion. It is not biblical.

The people who do it, I tell them, have fun, go and have at it. But it’s not biblical. Don’t try to tell me that it’s a Christian experience. Don’t try to tell me it’s a biblical experience because it can’t be demonstrated by the Bible. The real language gift was a known dialect. If you read 1 Corinthians 14, 9, it says, except you speak by the tongue, tongue, words easy to be understood. How shall we know what is spoken? You just speak hot air into the air.

You’re wasting your breath, it says. And then it says in verse 22, a first friend is 14, tongues were for a sign not to believers in the church, but to unbelievers. It’s to be is out in the street, out in the behind way and by way, and it’s to be used to win the lost of Christ. And if you ask someone who speaks in their tongues, how many Many people have communicated the gospel to in their gifted tongues and how many people have led the Christ with their gifted tongues are going to give you a big zero because nobody understands what they are saying.

They don’t. The person listening to them doesn’t and that tells you right there it’s not the real gift. The real gift was a known language given by God a specific dialect of that language in order to communicate in words easily understood by the hearer, the gospel message and people would get saved as a result of it. So John in Charlotte, Michigan telling 1 Thessalonians chapter 4. Verse 14 is the answer. We now have Barry in Tampa, Florida, and Barry, welcome to Bibleline.

You are on the air. Hello Barry. Yes. You’re on the air. Yes. Don’t. Hank. I like to ask your question. Um, where did all the different ways come from the black and the Chinese and that? I’m gonna hang up and leave you to explain that stuff. All right. We really don’t know the answer. Um, We’re all related. Everybody is a descendant of Adam and also we’re all descendants of Noah because it was only known in his family that survived the flood and we’re all related to Noah.

But it’s probably at the Tower of Babel. My suggestion is when God changed the languages and the nations were founded in Genesis chapter 11 of the Tower of Babel that it doesn’t tell us so but you probably also changed the skin colors. But we really don’t know. Nobody knows. You can look in your encyclopedia and you can study what men say and nobody really knows. It’s all guess and we’ll have to wait to find out. But definitely the Bible does talk about you can’t change your skin color.

Whatever you came with is what you’re going to have to live with and that’s of course what the Bible teaches. We’re We’re going to go now to Louie in Newport, Ritchie and Louie, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Okay. Do you have a question? I’m sorry. I’m on the air. You’re on the air right now. Yes. I have a demonstration. Temple Mount? We moved in order for them to finish that to continue on, to build Solomon’s God House.

Well, the answer is I don’t believe it will be removed. I think it’ll let me remove the Christ returns. If you look at Ezekiel, if you have your Bible there, this is a fascinating passage, but it says in Ezekiel chapter 42 in verse 20 about the next temple, the third temple, the one that will be built after the Rapture. He measured it by the four sides and it had a wall about it, 500 reads long and 500 reads broad to make a separation.

That’s the key word to make a separation between the sanctuary. That’s the third temple and the profane place. Well, the temple is going to be placed north of both mosques on that open area directly in line with that eastern gate that’s walled up. Christ will come through the eastern gate and he will then cleanse his temple and apparently cleanse the whole temple mount of the Tumaska there at the end of the tribulation period. But at the very beginning I believe that this third temple will be built to the north of the Tumask and a wall of separation will be put around it to keep it separate from the profaned area.

And if you read Revelation 11 verse 2, we talked about it, I think on Friday’s program, it talks about the courtyard area of the temple mount will be trodden underfoot and profaned by the gentiles right up until the end of the tribulation period when Christ returns. Can I cut you short? I can hardly hear you repeat that and I’m going to shut my phone down and I’m going to listen to you on the radio. Okay. Are you possible? Absolutely.

I’m sorry about the phone problems and I was saying that in Ezekiel 42 verse 20 it talks about the third temple that will be rebuilt after the Rapture. And it tells us here that there will be a wall of separation built around that temple to keep it separate from the profaned areas that are profaned by the two mosques that are there. So if you read that verse it says here, he measured it by the four sides. It had a wall about it 500 reeds long, 500 reeds broad to make a separation between the sanctuary.

That’s the third temple and the profaned area. So we find that apparently they will coexist. That is the third temple on the temple mount separated by a wall around it from the profaned courtyard area. That’s exactly what Revelation Chapter 11 talks about when John sees the third temple during the tribulation period. He talks about for the last three and a half years of the tribulation in the courtyard would be trodden underfoot by Gentiles and profaned right up until the second coming of Christ.

Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline and it’s wonderful to be able to be with you. This is Monday and we’re excited about being with you today.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for tuning in to the program. And we hope you’ll tell your friends about it and help us grow our audience. We are actually heard around the world, literally 151 countries have logged in to Bibleline. And we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor. And we’re hearing all the time of people that are listening to and watching our worship services from the, around the world, on the internet.

We had a fellow in our worship service last night in the military said that when he was in Afghanistan recently that he and ten buddies would gather around his laptop and they would watched the Sunday-learning message from Calvary Community Church here as we gave the message here. Isn’t that amazing? Here we have a bunch of servicemen. They said it got them through the difficult situations they were in, listening to that message every week there in Afghanistan. So we’re excited about what God is doing, and we have 151 countries now that have logged in on the website.

This month, just at the beginning of our website, there’s a seven minute video. Not everybody watches that. But in the month of October, we had 3,490 people that watched that seven minute video. Isn’t that exciting? So we have a lot of people hearing and learning about the gospel through the website. We have a lot of offer questions and we want to try to take care of those as much as possible as we can. But we also have a phone caller here from Trenton, New Jersey, and her name is Brenda, and Brenda, welcome to Bibleline, and you’re on the air.

Yes, I have a question for you, Pastor. I would like to know if God changes… Well he has the appearance of changing his mind, but no, the Bible says that God is not a man, that he should change his mind. So God does not change his mind. We know that for example he had said that he would destroy Nineveh. We find that Jonah went there and preached the book of Jonah records that story. They obviously were greatly impacted by his message.

God stayed from destroying Nineveh, but yet later, two and fifty years later, Nineveh was destroyed. God, I think, gave them more time. It appeared that God had changed his mind, but God still was bent on destroying that city because of the great wickedness. But when they heard the preaching of Jonah, apparently that God looked like changes his mind, but he later finally did destroy it. But he gave him another couple hundred years. Now, how about Hasakiah when he was granted fifteen more years as a result of prayer?

Well, I think that there are things that are changeable, but God really doesn’t change his mind. It has a kind of a change there. You might note that his life was being judged by God. God was ready to take him home and God told him that. And so has a kind of prayed and cleaned up his house in order and God thinks right with God and God allowed him to live out. I think the original amount of time that he would have lived, but he was about to have his life cut short by fifteen years.

So the Lord let him live those extra fifteen years as a result of the fact that he got right with the Lord. And I think that obviously there are variables but they’re all still within the will of God. And in this case it was Hezekiah who made the changes that God said, okay, then I’ll let you live fifteen more years. But if he hadn’t he would have gone home at that particular time. The world would have taken him out.

Well, I thank you very much. Thank you for listening. It’s Brenda up in Trenton, New Jersey, calling in to the Bibleline program. We have Joan in Deltona, Florida, and Joan, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Oh, thank you, Dr. Lindstrom, for receiving my call. I would like to ask, why would the temple sacrifice be being stated when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the perfect sacrifice, paid the sinful order? people fall in time? Well, because the Jewish people don’t know that, and the last seven years of the tribulation or the last seven years of the Old Testament age are the same as the seven years of tribulation.

And during that time, God will start the clock again for Israel and tick off the last seven years of the Old Testament age. So we find ourselves Israel as the center focus, Jerusalem as the center focus, the temple and blood sacrifices again. It’s almost like turning the clock back to 2000 years ago. The Jews were in the land. Today the Jews are back in the land. They’ll rebuild their temple. They had a temple 2000 years ago. They’ll have a temple again.

They were offering sacrifices 2000 years ago. They’ll offer sacrifices again. the witnesses at that time were the Jews, according to Revelation, there will be 144,000 Jewish men who will be the witnesses again. So it will be Jewish territory. They had prophets and we have gone to Baptist being the last of the Old Testament prophets. God is going to send back two Old Testament prophets, Moses and Elijah, during that time. And so it’s all Jewish. We’re going to go back and finish out the last of the Old Testament Age of Law and under the law the sacrifices were required.

During that time millions of Jews will get saved and then Christ will come back and be their king and establish a kingdom where the Jews will be the head nation on the earth. Okay thank you very much. What’s that answer? Okay you’re welcome. Basically, God has turned to the Gentiles for the past two thousand years and he is going to return to his plan for Israel and complete that after the Rapture. We have Karl in Tampa, Forta, calling in.

Karl, welcome to Vibeland. You’re on here, Karl. Go ahead. Yeah. Is this Hangar in the system? Yes, it is. Yeah. I ask you a question on John 3, 5, and 6. I know that it’s not speaking about water baptism, but could you explain what that means He said, he just says, answered, but everybody has said today, because the men be born of water. He said, they’re going to be born again. And he’s talking about, I’m sorry, I got the wrong one.

Okay, so the next men be born of water, a born of water, and of the spirit. He can add it to the kingdom of God. of God, and then he goes on to say that which is born. Now in this Gulf Hill Bible that I have, that I got from you 1616, and Mark 1616 says that heat I believe and is baptized shall be saved. Now what kind of baptism is talking about? I know it’s not talking about a shooting today, I don’t think it’s talking about water baptism.

First of all, it’s not talking about any kind of baptism. It’s talking about a birth. And the birth of water is the natural birth where you’re enclosed in your mother’s womb in a sack of water. And when that water sack breaks, then out you come and you’re born. The passage says, except you be born of water, which is whatever human being has, if you’re a human, you’ve been born of water. And then it says, and of the spirit. So he said, marble not, I said, you have to be born again.

The second birth is the birth that we don’t have. We all have the birth of water. And the context demands that. When Nicodemus heard that in verse 4, we find that Nicodemus said, how can I, being an old man, go back into my mother’s womb and come out again and be born the second time. He’s talking about that water birth. And then verse 6, on the other side demands that interpretation as it says that which is born of the flesh.

So the water birth is the flesh birth. That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. So we have two births as a Christian. If you’re unsaved you only have the one birth, the water birth. Nicodemus already had the water birth. He told Nicodemus you have to have the second birth. He already had the water birth and that is the birth of flesh that we have when we come out of our mother’s womb the water sack breaks and how we come and that’s the water your birth.

Well, I agree with 100%. That’s what I’ve always believed. But in the Scholfield Bible, the references they give, like Mark 1616 and also… Well, that’s a bad detour. That’s a bad detour. You shouldn’t be taking it there. It has nothing to do with baptism. And then over here another reference it gives us Acts 2 38 and Acts 2 38 says then Peter said them to them Repent and be baptized refers back to John the Baptist baptized the people and that to me I mean it’s giving a wrong just like you do that water is the water the birth That’s why you refer to the flesh going back to the flesh being born back from back in his mother’s womb That’s the what I thought it hours, but it meant But it’s not saying that in the scofia of Bible.

So I just wanted to point that out. Well, I’m glad you did I’m embarrassed because I like this go to your Bible, but obviously they’re sitting us on a wrong direction there. John Three has nothing to do with baptism at all. It speaks about being born, B-O-R-N, of water, and that is the natural birth of the flesh birth as contrasted with the spirit birth that happens when you trust Christ. Thanks for pointing it out, Karl. This is by the way, School of Fear, the 1909.

So, John. Yep. It’s wrong from the beginning then. Right. Well, what can I say? Every time I recommend a book, somebody will find some little flaw in it. The only book that you’ll find will have no problems is the Bible itself. So that’s the word of God. You can trust the Bible. But you obviously, any book written by man will have some kind of flaws. Thank you. And that was a great one. We have a couple of offer questions here.

we want to take and we have James in Tampa, Florida. Should a Christian home have scary Halloween decorations outside the house? Isn’t this a form of celebrating Satan? Well, obviously this is probably a question that has been sitting here since before Halloween, but I don’t think we should celebrate Satan. We’ve mentioned back the week beforehand that we We believe Christ was born in October, maybe even on October 31st, and we celebrate the birth of Christ on that date. And certainly Satan has tried to steal the glory away from Christ and made it his day.

And certainly we don’t want to fall into that trap and have any witches or goblins or forms of Satan or demons that so many people do. So hopefully that answers the question for you. James and Tim before to calling in with that question. We have here Claire in Texas calling in and she says, Pastor Hank, I told a Jehovah’s Witness that a person has absolutely saved even if they kill someone. Well, I don’t recommend you tell them to go out and kill somebody.

But it says, because I remember you said there’s only one unpardonable sin, that is unbelief. And you’re absolutely right. Our salvation is not dependent on our behavior, our obedience, but dependent upon what Christ did. And we find that there are those in the Bible that got saved, and then they did commit murder, and yet they were still saved. Moses killed the Egyptian, you might remember, and he obviously went to heaven. We also have Paul, the Apostle, standing there consenting to the killing of Stephen.

And Paul obviously was saved and he said that I am persuaded, John, rather Romans 8, 38, and 39, that neither death nor life nor angels or principalities are things present but things to come nor height nor depth nor any other creation. She’ll be able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus And we have David David committed adultery and murder and yet David was saved Now God chastened him, but he was still saved. He said in Psalm 51 Lord restored to me the joy of My salvation, but David was still clearly saved.

So you’re absolutely right the witnesses they have some major problems, they deny the deity of Christ. And that’s one of the issues you have to deal with right on. It says in 1 John 2, 23, whosoever denyeth the son the same half not the father. This is powerful because you have Jehovah’s Witnesses that are Jehovahless. In other words, if you deny the son, you don’t have the father. So the witnesses don’t have Jehovah, so they’re Jehovahless, they’re Fatherless. But it says the one who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

So I think you need to point out to the Jehovah’s Witnesses that they are Jehovahless. And that if they want to be true Jehovah’s Witnesses, they need to have Jehovah. And the only way to have Jehovah is to receive the Son, Jesus. And so write that verse down. 1 John 2 23, Whosoeverjpg yea the Son, the same hath not Jehovah, or hath not the Father. So the Jehovah’s Witnesses are Jehovahless. And you might tell them that, oh my goodness you guys are Jehovahless.

You need to have Jehovah and or to have Jehovah you have to acknowledge the son which you don’t and until you acknowledge Christ You will not have the father and there are other verses that say that equally clearly second John verse 9 Says that if you don’t acknowledge who Christ is that he’s got it took on flesh you don’t even have God so you don’t have God so the Joe’s witnesses are godless According to 2nd John verse 9, and those are the verses you need to use with the witnesses.

Let them know they’re Jehovahless and they’re Godless without Christ. Okay we have here 1 and Jackson, Mississippi calls in, leaves us off their question. I’ve always wanted a skill field Bible. However, I have never bought one due to the expense and what I heard about skill field notes that they are unorthodox in some areas, controversial, that is your opinion, please. Well, the cost isn’t very much. We have one here that is just, everything is there, but it’s a soft cover, Scofield, for a gift of $20.

That’s not too expensive. And Ron, the notes are right on. So they’re controversial because they do go against the grain of many denominational teachings, but I wouldn’t let that scare you off. They are true to the Bible, and any thinking person can discover that what Schilfield is saying and what the Bible says are really in agreement, and the notes are excellent. So don’t let that scare you off. Obviously, those who reject the Schilfield Bible usually have very bad doctrine, and they They don’t like the skillful Bible because it exposes that.

We have here, Rodney in Flint, Michigan. Can a man and a woman live together and not have sex? Would it be right for a Christian? Well they can, but it should be by consent if they do. If you read 1 Corinthians chapter 7, it talks about that the man’s body belongs to the wife and the wife’s body belongs to the husband and they’re to satisfy each other’s sexual needs and if they don’t it should be by consent but they need to recognize that that might cause temptation for the partner not being satisfied sexually in that relationship.

So read the first five or six verses there in 1st Corinthians chapter 7, Rodney and you’ll have your answer. Thank you for that call. We’re glad you’re listening up there in Flint, Michigan. We have Phil in Tampa, Florida. He leaves this off here question. Is there scripture that tells us where the Antichrist will come from geographically? And I believe yes. Daniel 7 verse 8 tells us that there would be 11 nations under the control of the Antichrist. and at the Antichrist would be the head of that 11th nation and it tells us that the 11th nation would be birthed by spawned by the ten nations of Europe that would come together in the last days which is the European Common Market there’s only one country in the world that’s been spawned by Europe that is younger than stronger than Europe and that’s the United States of

America I believe the Antichrist will come out of this country and at the time when he’s in power will be the president of the United States of America. So we are the country out of which the Antichrist will come. No doubt about it. It’s quite clear in Scripture you’ll also find the same truth in Revelation 17 where it talks about the same thing in chapter 13 as well, where there would be 11 nations that would be under the control of the Antichrist.

Calvin says, speaking of rightly dividing, you need to point out that there is a difference between Israel and the Gentiles. Well Calvin, I think I do that all the time. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1031 that there is a distinct difference between the Gentiles and Israel and then the Church. and the church is of course the body of believers, a spiritual body comprised of all believers of Jews and Gentiles that get saved. Israel are the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and so on, and the Gentiles are all those that are not descendant of Abraham.

But definitely there is a real distinction and I try to bring that out as often as I I can. So thank you for the pointer, but I believe I do that all the time. We don’t have Phyllis calling in and Phyllis is calling from Tampa, Florida. Excuse me from where is Phyllis calling in from Tamarack down in South Florida? Phyllis, welcome to Bible End. Thank you. I have a question about Acts 238, if that’s talking about water. Okay. By the way, Phil, we’re going to be on the air down your way.

We’re going to be on November 26 on WMCU 1080 on the now. I’m excited about that, Dr. Hank. Well, S-238 is not talking about water. It’s talking about being cleansed or washed. You know, the problem is the Greek word, Babtizmos and Babtizo, mean the cleanser to wash. And if you read it literally, Peter’s saying we pent or change your mind, which we’ve defined here many times. and then be cleansed or washed in the name, not water, but in the name of the Lord Jesus, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and the forgiveness of your sins.

The same type of cleansing or washing is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6, 11, where it lists a lot of sins and verses 9 and 10 that would keep the person out of heaven, but then it says in verse 11, in verse 11 and such were some of you, but you are washed. Again, it means Bambtai. You are washed in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the spirit of our God it says in 1 Corinthians 611. So he’s not talking about waters, talking about changing your mind about who Christ is and what he did for you to cross.

And trusting him and being cleansed in the name of the authority that Christ has that He has a name above every name. He’s God and flesh and587 He has the authority to save you and He cleanses you when you trust in His name. Thank you so much Hank. I love your program. Well thankuyomi for calling in from down there in South Florida. That’s wonderful. I’m glad that we’re going to be on the air live down there shortly. We’re now going to Derek in Kaleen, Kaleen, Texas and he says explained John 15 to reference his branches without fruit cast out.

It’s talking about them being broken off, I guess you could say cast out, but it’s not talking about loss of salvation. It’s talking about the Lord will take believers out who are fruitless. all to be fruit bearing and as a vine if you are the husbandman you want to prune the vine and if you have branches that are dead or unproductive you want to remove them so that the vine can be more vibrant and fruit-preducting in the other branches.

So it’s clearly not talking about a loss of salvation it’s not talking about salvation at all it’s really talking about us as believers being branches and that we should be bare fruit and that if we don’t bear fruit We are obviously going to be pruned by the Lord and disciplined to bring about that fruit bearing, but if it doesn’t happen, he might take us home to heaven early. We have here Gene in Tampa, Florida calls in, have you heard of John MacArthur’s book 12 Ordinary Men?

And I think I’ve heard of it, but I haven’t read it. So is there a fish in Israel called St. Peter’s Fish? Well yes, every time we’ve gone to Israel we’ve eaten that for usually we have a lunch and they serve up that fish. It’s a carp and it’s a fish native to the Sea of Galilee and people I think mainly for tourists call it St. Peter’s Fish because this is the same kind of fish that Peter would have caught in his nets if he were fishing today.

This would be the same fish. And so it’s exciting. I think to get to eat the kind of fish, the disciples ate. And it’s called St. Peter’s Fish today, but it’s just a carp. And it’s delicious. They cook it up really nice and every time I’ve ever had it it’s been We’ll try that again this coming year. If you want to go with me on that trip, we’d love to have you do that. We’ve had a lot of questions here.

We’ve got some of the offer questions answered, but we’re running toward the end of the program. If you want to go to Israel Call and we’ll put you on the list and get a brochure in your hand as soon as we get them in our hand.
