Well, we’re going to go to the Bible here in just a moment and then we’ll take our callers.

Well, we are Excited about the times in which we’re living in you know the Bible says that when they the world says peace and safety The Greek word means security peace and security And we’re seeing that happen right now in the Middle East Wow, that’s when the Bible says the tribulation period will come that means the rapture will come and so are we on the edge of it?

all, I think we are. It says when they shall say peace and safety, then sudden destruction come up upon them. You know, the tribulation period, it says in Isaiah chapter 13, will come as a destruction from the Lord. And so the tribulation period, this time of destruction and judgment upon the planet, will take place right after the rapture, will be initiated when the world is talking about peace in the Middle East. And we’re hearing those very expressions, peace and security, which if you look at 1st Thessalonians 5.3, it says, when they shall say, peace and security.

And that’s what we’re hearing right now. Are you getting up on your tippy toes? Are you flapping your arms a little bit, getting ready for the rapture, doing rapture practice? Of course I’m teasing. If you’re a believer in going up, whether you are doing any rapture practice or not, but I always like to have fun about this thing, I think that we really all ought to be on our tippy toes because we are coming up rather close here on the event.

And I think that we may be actually watching the biblical prophecies unfolding before our very eyes. Bush is basically, it seems like, from the wording of his statements, is forcing both signs to come together in a peace. And promising that America will secure Israel’s security, that he will provide peace and security for Israel. Well, you know that sounds exactly what the Bible says back in Daniel, that when the time comes, there will be a peace with the many Jews that will return back to the state of Israel and this peace will be guaranteed by the leader of the western nations and this is the promise that will be made to Israel and Israel will buy into this and the Bible actually says that Israel is really making an agreement with hell itself.

This agreement will be broken by the Antichrist halfway through the seven-year tribulation period, and the Antichrist will actually enter into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and proclaim to the world that he is God and the man to be worshipped. That’s right. Have you ever read it? It’s in 2nd, Pestalonians. Incredible verse here. But it says here, this man of sin, the Antichrist. also called the son of hell or the son of perdition. Verse 4, 2 Thessalonians 2 says, who opposes an exalt of himself above all that is told God or that is worshipped so that he as God, Siddharth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Whoa, this guy is going to actually claim to be God and he’s going to make that pronouncement in Israel, in Jerusalem, in the third temple that will be rebuilt. There is no temple there right now. But you know the preparations that have been made now for quite a few years ever since the Six-Day War. The stones have been cut. We’ve had Gersan Solomon here several times in Orthodox Jew who’s been cutting the stones in the ancient way. And so that it fits right in with Scripture.

And we were there and saw the Temple Mount Institute where they have made the different instruments. instruments for sacrifice. The garments of the priesthood. We saw the menorah, incredibly large, seven-branched candlestick made out of one piece of gold. It must be worth millions. And we stood just a few feet away, all of us in our group, just a few months ago in March of this past year. Things are prepared, things are ready to go and it just will happen, I believe, quickly, right after the rapture takes place.

Well anyway, when they hammer out the details of this agreement, maybe it will actually include the Jewish people being able to build their temple on the Temple Mount. In any case, I believe we’re watching biblical prophecy unfold before our very eyes. exciting, I’m ready to go and I hope you are, but the Bible makes you claim that there will be a false peace, a false hope of peace, and when the world is talking about peace and security in the Middle East, that that’s when the Lord will come back at the Rapture, and the tribulation period will be launched this time of destruction.

But you know it’s interesting, in 1 Thessalonians 5, 4, it says, but you brethren are not in darkness that they should overtake you as a thief. In other words, we shouldn’t be surprised at all. We shouldn’t be caught off guard. We who are believers should be expecting it and watching it. Read that verse sometime. Everybody says, oh, you can’t know when Christ is coming back. He’s coming as a thief. Nobody knows when. But it says, for the world it comes as a thief, for the unsaved becomes as a thief.

But if you read carefully what it says in verse 4, a 1st Thessalonians 5, It says that you, brethren, you believers are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief. So we shouldn’t be surprised at all. We should be watching and looking. And you know, if you’re not watching for the war to come back, you’re delinquent as a believer. Twenty-three times in the Gospels, Jesus tells us to watch for His coming. We’re to be watching.

We’re to be looking. your heads and look for my redemption draws near. Christ is coming back and we all want to be watching and living in the excited anticipation of that event. In 2 Timothy 4 and verse 8 there is a special crown, a special reward that is given to those that are watching for Christ’s return. That has got to be a piece of cake. If you want to earn rewards in heaven, that has got to be an easy one.

you are looking all the time for Jesus to return and we had a little lady that’s now deceased that used to attend our church and she would walk to church and she would always tell me when she got here I’m looking in the sky as I walked here looking for Christ to return and she says I’m always looking for a little cloud because it says Christ would come back in the clouds. Well, obviously she was one of those. I’m sure that’s going to get that crown because she was always watching.

She would always tell me, all the way here as I walked here past her I was looking for Christ to come back and I watched the sky all the way here. That’s exciting. To live that way really gives you a new dimension to your life because it creates an excitement and it keeps you aware of the world and you get your eyes fixed on things which are heavenly. That’s what the Bible tells us for it to do. So as a believer, we could be close.

Certainly things in this world are pointing to the fact that the return of Jesus is closer than ever before. We’re going to go to the phone lines. make a poor one for the brazen serpent and the two rupees are supposed to look at that serpent and believe that they would be here. Now if the serpent represents the devil, why were they supposed to believe in the devil for healing? Well, it’s interesting they really represents Christ. If you read John’s Gospel chapter 3, Jesus is… is explaining the Gospel to Nicodemus and tells him how to become safe. And he says in John chapter 3 in verse 14, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

So what does it represent? It represents Christ being nailed to the cross and the curse because our sins were laid upon Christ. Christ was cursed for us so that we might be delivered by the curse by His death in our place. And so it really represents Christ and how He became cursed because our sins were laid upon Him. So it’s not really the devil, it’s really Christ that is talking about. And then Jesus goes on to say that whosoever, verse 15, it doesn’t get read because John’s verse 16 is so popular, but verse 15 says that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life.

The hymn there of the serpent on the pole is Christ. So that’s the answer. I say okay. My second question is when Jesus was crucified in the New Testament it says that all the laws and everything were laid up by the cross with him. Now, like my family they are mostly like seven day Adventist and they still, you know, I dare to this Sabbath laws, they eat with food laws. If they eat with them, they’re just going to ceremonies and laws that were in need of What actual logs were banished when he was a skidabark?

Everything… Everything from Mount Sinai was nailed to the cross, including all those laws that you just mentioned. It says here in Colossians chapter 2, and the Lord is good when you give your relatives. It says in verse 14 of Colossians 2, blotting out the handwriting of ordinances, plural laws that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly triumphing over them in it.

Number 16, look at the result. This is really powerful for the Seventh Adventist. Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink or in respect of an holy day or of the new moon or of the Sabbath. Notice no one is the judges as concerning the Sabbath. The Seventh Adventist say that if you worship on Sunday you have the mark of the beast, but the mark of the blue, true and living God, is the worship on Saturday.

They’re totally wrong and obviously this passage nails a stake in the heart of that bad teaching Colossians 2, 14 through 16 in particular. So, you know, why do they still continue with food laws and, you know, certain things, everything is a thing. Everything is a thing. You cannot… I know it. Well, unfortunately, they are reading the Bible through the lenses of LNG White, the founder. And unless… And unless they kick out her writings and abandon them, they’ll never get straight because when they read their Bible, they put on the spectacles, the lenses of Eligee White, and they read the Bible through her writings.

And so if you do that, you’ll never get straight because that woman was not straight. She was terribly mistaken. She fought emotionally and she didn’t believe in health. The seven-dad dinners have done so many things wrong, calculating the day of the return of Christ and being wrong and never really admitting to the date being wrong but did the event being wrong and it just goes on on and becomes more mired and error as the days go by. Yeah, but according to them they say like Ellen Jay White is a rocket because of scripture faith.

If you have not the laws and the profits then you’re not a coated bar or something like that. Well, you know, if you read 1 Corinthians 13 8 through 10. in this age the prophets are gone. It says the gift of prophecy would cease when the New Testament record was completed and that’s exactly what happened then so she could not be a prophet in this age because there are no prophets and those churches that claim they have You can tell that they have bad doctrine.

There are no prophets right now. Prophets have been withdrawn. There are no prophets. And 1 Corinthians 13, 8 through 10 says that they would cease. Yeah, I understand all of those things. I’m proud of you. Well, actually they have left the faith. You need to turn it around and say, you guys have left the faith. You have actually gone back to the faith because the faith is that which is declared which is in God’s Word and the Seventh-End Minister claiming that which is in the writings of L.

Let me tell my radio now because I got a… I’m sorry. Hold on. Yes. Okay. I’m sorry. Go ahead.

Oh, okay. First of all, I want to say good morning and yes, I’m on my typical waiting for my Savior to come in all his glory. Amen. Oh, tell you. I guess what I want to ask you was my friend told me that, um, Melchizedek was actually a incarnation of Jesus. But this morning my Bible fell open to Genesis 14, 18. Yes. Okay. Could you explain that to me? And for my understanding, I’m thinking that Melchizedek was not Jesus, but that he was a type, or a shadow.

Well he was on both. I believe if you read Hebrews chapter 7, it talks about Melchizedek as being a man that had no beginning, no ending, no ancestry, no father, no mother, and so on, but one like under the Son of God. I believe he is Jesus. And at the same time, he was a type of the priesthood that Christ himself would have. And this is the picture that’s given to us here. But he was very definitely, I believe, in my view, he had to be a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ.

You know, Christ appeared numerous times. And he says here in verse 18, Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought forth bread and wine, and he was the priest of the Most High God. Well, we find that Jesus, obviously, is the priest of the Most High God as well. He is the second eternal member of the Godhead. He eternal exists, but he was a priest after the order of Melchizedek, and Melchizedek just comes and all of a sudden disappears, and you never read about him again because i believe it was just the jesus appearing in advance jesus said in john eight that he appeared to a brand and a brand saw him and rejoiced and so perhaps it’s this experience that he’s referring to okay yet he left me to he will but uh…

which one was that he will be with you chapter seven that’s what he told me okay check it out again okay thank you mare that was my redone this is so affordable we have james in seminal florida and james welcome to bible and you’re on the earth and morning sir good morning uh… i heard dr hannigraff say the other day that pre-tribbers make a mistake because they go along with the bible newspaper in the other is one of what your thoughts on that was well i think that uh…

he probably does the same thing that won’t admit to it you know i mean We all read the newspaper, we all are aware of the news, but of course, Hennigraff believes that Christ is already returned. Let me just say goodbye to Miami. Miami, thank you for tuning in. We have to go off early with Miami. But join us again on Monday and of course on the internet catches over the weekend. Anyway, Hank Hennigraff actually believes that the second coming of Christ occurred in AD 70.

And I read his book and basically He doesn’t take the Bible literally. He says everything, his favorite word is metaphorical, metaphorical, metaphorical. And basically what they do is a sprinkle pixie that’s on the Bible and say that when it says it doesn’t mean. And I totally disagree with that position. So he doesn’t look for a future coming of Christ, that no rapture, no tribulation period, because he believes it’s already been fulfilled, because he denies a literal interpretation interpretation of the Bible.

So, it’s just, I think, a cheap shot at us who believe that we’re watching the news unfold as we look forward to Christ’s return. So that’s my view. And they always tell them now people to go with them to the zoo. Well what happened with this wildlife expert was she was interacting with some treaters in the wild. When all of a sudden wanted in the zoo. Hey man, I always tease with those who think we’re already in the kingdom.

Let’s go out to the zoo and give it the trial because in Isaiah 11 it says the lion will each fall like the ox. So right now they’re going to bite your arm and they’re not going to eat straws. We’re not in the Kingdom yet. The Kingdom is still future. Well thank you so much James for that call. We’re gonna have to go on to break here. Good morning. Two short questions. questions that are kind of related.

First of all, can Satan do anything to the individual or the world without first getting God’s permission? Satan is limited because God is sovereign and nothing can happen without God’s permission. Satan. So you’re right. But we need to certainly respect Satan in this power and of course we don’t have to engage him directly. The Bible says, if we are steadfast in the faith serving the Lord God will take care Satan. But if we are dulling, when God can allow Satan to interfere in our life, and so we need to make sure that we’re just keeping our eyes on the Lord and living for Him and we’ll be just fine.

Okay. Now, next question. How much do you think that God lives and let me give you a scenario so you know like someone may i make up someone i was late for the airport i missed my plane one christian friend says well that was god because he didn’t want you to be one of that plan another christian president that was taken he didn’t want you to be on time for the appointment so you know in how much of that is just quench and it’s in your opinion well i think sometimes you don’t know but sometimes uh…

It really, truly could be a reward. And maybe there’s a combination of two things going on. I know that I have a situation. situation with my vehicle. I heard some strange sounds, not too loud, and I rolled my window down and listened. I said something’s wrong with my steering, and I didn’t drive another inch. I had a tow truck come out to pick it up and he looked at it and he said, you know, your tie rod has come completely off.

He said, this just doesn’t happen. He’s never seen it before. And of course, if I had gone out on the highway, it could have I flipped my car and I could have been injured or killed. But it’s interesting. We could say that the Lord spared me because he let me have that experience right in the parking lot where I was not going over about two or three miles an hour. It could have been also Satan saying, I want to take this guy out and get rid of him.

But the Lord overruled obviously and it turned out to be good ending and it’s all repaired and my car is running great. But that was scary where it could have been on the highway disaster and I could have been killed. But I thank the Lord that he spared my life by not ever allowing it to get to that serious condition. So I didn’t wreck anything. Okay. Now, you would be another example and that’s a question too. You know, do you feel that you were called to be a minister?

Do you by God that it was an interference from him and a lot of the things in your ministry have been destined by God? Where is it? All been free will. Well, I’ve had the choice and I really feel that the Lord was telling me to go into ministry and I felt that if I didn’t, if I pursued Michael’s, I was headed for a career in engineering, I graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Florida, but I really feel like the word I was saying I want you to be a full-time minister for me.

And I felt inside I can prove it, but I felt that if I didn’t, God would take me home. My life was finished here on this earth because he had another plan for my life. And I’m glad I made the choice I made because I really have enjoyed doing what God has sent me out to do and I am enjoying right now being with you on the radio. So I think God does do those things and many times he directs and sometimes your circumstances and there’s always this battle going on between Satan and God and sometimes the negative sign and then the positive sign.

So I think that God works that way. Okay, okay. I needed your opinion. I’ve listened to you probably four years. You’ve started about four years ago, right? A little over five years ago here on this station in the Tampa Bay area, which is the one you’re listening on. But I’ve been on radio for a longer, but this is radio is so changeable sometimes, but this is the longest in one place on one station, at least in the local Tampa Bay area that I’ve been at any one time.

Well thank you Tim. Okay and you have a blessed weekend. Yeah and got a blessing and a happy new year to you and all of our other wrestlers as well. We are going to go now to another Tim. This Tim is in Tampa Florida and Tim won’t come to Bible when you’re on the air. We have Tim number two. Tim are you there? Yes I’m here. Alright you’re on the air. Go ahead and ask your question. Don’t listen to the radio, it’s a 20 second delay.

I just want to know what your words about the spirit of women. Well, I believe that they are forbidden to be preachers. Women can give testimony. Women can sing. Women can do different things. But they are not to use certain authority over the man and be the leader, the spiritual leader of the church or of the home. In the home, the man is the spiritual leader. That doesn’t mean that he’s a dictator, a tyrant, or the woman has no input.

But the people who are not in the spirit of the church are not in the spirit of the church. put, but he does ultimately the buck stops with him that he’s responsible for God to make the decisions for the family. You know when Jesus was an infant, the angel appeared not to Mary but to Joseph and said, Joseph, take your wife and the young child down to Egypt and tell the death of Herod because he’s seeking to kill the young child.

And so he didn’t direct the family through Mary. Mary didn’t say, Joseph, hey, pack your stuff, we’re going to go to Egypt. But Joseph told Mary to pack her stuff, and he took his wife and the child. And God spoke to the man to direct the family. And the same thing is true in the church where it’s not the woman that’s to direct the church, but God uses the men to do that, and he speaks to the men to guide the church.

So it’s out of order. And in the Bible, whenever a woman is in leadership, especially spiritual matters, it’s out of order, it’s upside down. And Timothy seems to imply the reasons why, because number one, Adam was created first and then Eve. So for order, in the way of God has created things, Adam got the responsibility because he’s created first, not woman. And also secondly women are more easily deceived and spiritual matters because they think more emotionally whereas men think more factually.

Men have their problems too. I mean that’s why God made women to compliment men so that the two of them would in a sense make a whole person. We had a family and our church get older and they tease with me one day and they said you know it takes two of us to mow the lawn. One of us pulls the crank against the motor going, the other one pushes the mower. But sometimes that’s true. It takes two to get something done.

And God intended it to be that way. A man and a woman, the man alone, has shortcomings and the woman alone has shortcomings. But together they complement one another. What are you next? Well, there are several verses. You know, 1 Corinthians 14, 34 says, let your women keep silence in the church as well. How can a woman be the preacher? She’s silent. She’s not to open her mouth. So, you know, except by permission. So the women are not to speak out and just take charge.

But they can serve and they can be used and we have many women that serve in my church here. They don’t usurp the authority over the leadership of the church. They obviously submit to that leadership and do what their particular role is without trying to run the whole church. Okay, you can get that out first, Corinthians 13. No, 1434. All right, you’re sure? Welcome. Thank you, Tim, in Tampa, Florida. We now have, let’s see here. We have Albert in Richmond, Virginia.

Albert, welcome to Bibleline. I’ll end your own the year. Sir? I got a question in Sunday School last week. And they were talking about when Christ descended into the Earth, talking about descended into hell. My Sunday school teacher said he couldn’t find it in the Bible where Christ ascended into hell. And also, I know at my parents church, they’re Presbyterians. They say the apostles creed. And I was wondering if you could talk about that. I sure will. The passage you’re looking for is probably Ephesians 4, 8 through 10.

Ephesians 4, 8 through 10, where Christ descends into the heart of the earth. And He leads a group captive out of the heart of the earth, which is where Paradise used to be. And He took all of the Old Testament saints and removed them out of the heart of the earth and take them up to heaven. Paradise is now in heaven. 2 Corinthians 12-3 tells us that chapter 12 verse 2 and 3. But Paradise used to be in the heart of the earth.

Christ also, Matthew 1240 it says he descendants for 3 days and 3 nights into the heart of the earth. So those are some of the passages, but he never went to hell. Nobody’s been in hell yet, because hell is not being used. Hell is created for Satan and his angels. He gets to be first in along with the Pentecrist and the false prophet. That’s after the thousand. You’re in of Christ. And you see that happening over in Revelation chapter 20 verse 10.

But Christ did go into the paradise part of Hades. which is where also the law still are in Flamin’ Torment. Luke 16, beginning at verse 19 to the end of the chapter, pulls back the curtain on the heart of the earth prior to the death barrel and resurrection of Christ. And there you had two places, one place of torment, one place of comfort that was paradise. But the lost are still there in rich man’s He’s unsaved and Lazarus a beggar dies one is saved and goes to paradise the other one goes to the place of flame and torment And that rich man is still there to flame and torment and they’ll be removed from the heart of the earth at the end of the millennium According to Revelation chapter 20 and be cast into hell.

Thank you, sir. All right, you sure welcome and The Bible is very Got a lot of passages about that. It’s kind of fascinating. We never hear about it The Apostles Creed is wrong because it says that he descended into hell and that is wrong. Christ never went to hell. Christ paid for all of our sins on the cross and he said at the time of his death it is finished which means paid in full. And so he didn’t pay for one sin after he came down off the cross and during those three days he wasn’t in hell.

He was in paradise. Remember he told the Nine Thief, Luke 23, 43, today now so be with me in paradise. So there you have it. And hopefully that helps. Thank you so much for calling. We have Jim who called in yesterday I think and he’s from Chattanooga, Tennessee and he asked about a couple of passages here. First Timothy, chapter four, I’m going to turn there first and take a look at it. look at it as chapter 4 verses 9 through 10 and it says, This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach because we trust in the living God who is the Savior of all men, especially or specifically of those that believe. So here it talks about we who are saved labor because we trust in the living God and if you read the verses earlier it talks about there is profit or rewards in serving the Lord. It says here bodily exercise verse 8 profits little but godliness or living a Godly life is profitable under all things, having promise of the life that now is.

That’s here and now and of that which has become. So not only are you going to receive blessings and rewards in eternity but also in this life also. As you live for Christ, God will bless you. And so here it talks about, therefore we both labor and suffer reproach because we We believe that’s true. We believe and trust in the living God who is our Savior, the Savior of all men. And then it says, especially or specifically those that believe.

He’s the Savior of all men in that He died for everybody. But specifically those that believe on Christ or trust Christ are the ones that become saved. So hopefully that helps you. All fair leaves this question, how important is this presidential election in the end times and prophecy? I think it’s extremely important. I think that potentially the Antichrist could be involved in all of this because we know that the enterprise i believe will come out of this country out of the u.s.

of a the bible talks about ten european nations coming together in a union which i think has been fulfilled in the european common market but then talks about an eleventh nation that would be births by europe and uh… be younger than stronger than europe which i believe is the united states of america believe we are the eleventh nation It talks about after the revser.

The head of the United States would actually take over Europe militarily. And so Europe and America are going to become connected. And we already are so connected right now. I live one block here, or rather a Calvary Community Church in Bible and Headquarters is one block from the Tampa International Airport. You can fly out of this airport, a block from where I’m broadcasting from right now, and fly to many different countries of Europe right from here. Isn’t that amazing?

We are connected to Europe. You can get on a flight almost every day of the week to some part of Europe and fly right out of Tampa International Airport. We are living in the last days and the president at the time of the tribulation period after the rapture will be the Antichrist. We don’t know who that will be. It might be somebody down in the layers of government. If we have a Christian president and the rapture happens, he’ll disappear.

The secret service will be pulling their hair out and go nuts. They’ll swear in the vice president. But let’s say if the president and the vice president were saved, then you’d have the speaker of the house be declared the next president. And so somebody down in the layers of government might be become instantly a president. When John F. Kennedy was assassinated, Lyndon Johnson was sworn in as the next president very shortly after his being shot there and that motor catered in Texas.

a crazy world and we’re moving real fast and we might be looking at the Antichrist although he will not be revealed until after the Rapture we might actually be looking at him right now he might be in the field of candidates that will be elected in that interesting and so we’re it’s very important and but again these things are gonna play out just like the Bible prophets said that they would we have Troy in the land Florida Troy welcome to by one uh…

happy new year dr hank well thank you say to you uh… i want to call because i learned from stuff about the the sabbath that nobody really never touches on and you could correct me at the wrong that it was between god and israel and the land uh… every seven year the israelites were to take the twelve months uh… off for the sabbath year and then on their forty ninth of the seven times seven years, they would take off the 12 months and then take off another 12 months whether you believe.

Well, you’re right. You’re absolutely right. So, in fact, one of the things about the seven years of captivity in Babylon when Nebuchadnezzar came and took the Jewish people off the land was because they did not keep the yearly Sabbath to let the land rest for one year every seven years. And so they did not do that for 490 years. So God says, you owe me 70 years. And so he kicked them off the land 70 years because they owed him 70 years, one year for every seven over 400 in the year period that they didn’t keep that.

So he says, all right, I’m going to make you keep it. So nobody keeps the Sabbath? No. Is there nobody? Nobody has. No, if you really want to follow it strictly, you can’t do anything. On Friday night sundown, the Saturday night sundown, you can’t cook. You can’t do any kind of work. In fact, they won’t even, the Orthodox, you won’t want to even flip the light switch because they say you’re making fire they weren’t allowed to make fire on the Sabbath.

So that means you can’t drive your car because there’s fire in that ignition with a spark plug and so you don’t you’re dead in the water you don’t do anything. Interesting stuff. Thank you for your program Dr. Hank and it just keeps us realizing that we need our Savior and that we all fall short of the glory of God. Thank you. Amen.
