He said his girlfriend was in Scotland and she was watching the same worship service on the internet while he was here live in person.

Isn’t that amazing? We’re hearing more reports like that all the time and we’re excited. We just got some wonderful correspondence yesterday from a pastor in East Africa and we’re excited about getting correspondence from people around the world that are listening to the Bible We’ve got some from Indonesia, from Singapore, from Dubai, and the United Arab Emirates, from Europe, Canada. It’s amazing. We are right now 152 countries have logged on to the Bibleline website. You might try it. Pass that word along to your friends and other parts of the country and other parts of the world.

We also have them available in DVD, and that way you can play them for the enjoyment of your whole family. You have a big screen TV, put that DVD in there, and you’ll get us covering First Peter, verse by verse.

find a marvelous study. What a wonderful book first Peter is and we’re into that right now. If you want more, we have about 40 series all ready to go. Just call our operators and get a resource list for look on the internet and you can see them. But we’ve done many of the books of the Bible, including Genesis and Revelation and many of those in between. One of the little books that’s just absolutely with a great study, ten weeks of teaching on Jude.

That little teeny book is absolutely full. And also we have Romans and Hebrews and Hebrews and many other books of the Bible including Daniel and many prophetic themes. You might want to call and get some of these CD teachings. One of the best is a Hanaleid Soul to Christ. That class was spectacular. At the end the whole class stood and applauded. Many of them told me just three weeks in they were already leading people to Christ. They had been to several other soul winning classes and gone through many other books but still didn’t mean that, still weren’t successful in leading a soul to Christ.

Just when a few weeks with me they were able to lead people to Christ and they were excited. And what a joy it is to teach people how to lead someone to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are going to get into the Bible here for a little bit and then we’re going to be taking your calls. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Give us a call. We’ll take your call live on the air or you can leave an off air question.

And I hope you will take advantage of our 800 number and do that. We’re getting ready to go to Israel will leave February 25th. You can still get in, but you have to hurry up to make your decision. Call me. We’ll send you that brochure or you can pull it off the internet right now by going to BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on Bibleline News on the homepage and you’ll be just fine. Thank you again for tuning in and we’re going to jump right into the Bible.

It’s interesting how that a lot of people don’t really pay attention as they study the scripture and rightly divide. The Bible is clear that God gives us everlasting life. If you trust Christ as Savior, the one condition is the trust that he died, said his blood was It’s buried in Rose again from the dead and the Bible says, for example, in John 647, if you believe or trust Christ, you possess presently everlasting life. John 3 36, the same thing in numerous other verses.

John 1028 says you’ll never perish and never means never, never, never, never, never. You’re never going to perish. You’re never going to hell if you trust Christ. John 3, says that if you believe or trust on Christ, you are not condemned. You will never be condemned. And we find that Hebrews 10-14 says that at the moment you believe or trust Christ, you are sanctified or made perfect in God’s sight forever. He has perfected forever them that are sanctified by the one offering that Christ made on the cross.

Philippians 3-9 says that Christ’s very own righteousness becomes yours when you receive Him as your Savior and you’re seen by God as being as righteous as God. Acts 13-38 says that we not only receive forgiveness of our sin, but we’re justified from all things. A-L-L, everything is forgiven, everything is taken care of when you trust Christ. We find that John 637, Jesus says he would never cast out anyone that comes to him. I love that verse. Him that come with me, I will have no wise cast out.

So for no reason or under no circumstances would Christ ever cast a believer out. to me come to me and they say, well, okay, alright, I can’t argue with that. He won’t cast me out, but I can cast myself out. And you can’t even do that. In John 639, Jesus said that he would not lose one, not one of those that come to him. So if you were ever lost, Christ would be a liar. Christ said he’d not lose one.

Not one would ever be lost. So once it becomes Savior’s stuck, you have to go to heaven, whether you like it or not. And 1 Peter tells us that we’re kept by the power of God. Philippians 1, 6 says that salvation that God has begun, that He will finish. And so when you’re in heaven. In Ephesians 113 it says the Holy Spirit seals us until we are in heaven. So obviously you can’t be lost because the seal is the Holy Spirit Himself.

And on and on and on we go the Bible is so clear that once you trust Christ you have eternal life But there are things that are conditional in the Bible and our temporary and of course that talks about the Christian life talks about our works we can earn rewards in heaven and we only have opportunity while we’re here in this life and You can lose rewards. You can lose your joy. You can lose your effectiveness. You can lose your testimony You can lose your life, but you can’t lose your salvation.

Isn’t that great to know? It is wonderful. Jesus said in Hebrews 13-5, I love it. He says, I will never leave you. I will never leave you. Think about it. If you ever became lost, and if you went to hell, Jesus would have to go to hell with you, because he said what? I’ll never leave you. you. If he’s never going to leave you and you wound up in hell one day, Jesus is going to hell with you. Not going to happen.

Also in that same wonderful verse in Hebrews 13 5, he says, I’ll never forsake you. I’ll never forsake you. So you’ll never be forsaken by the Lord. Never, never. He’ll never leave you. He’ll never forsake you. Write it down. Here’s 13-5. These are all grand verses. And I’ve compiled a list of a lot of these wonderful verses, and if you want to get that list call, we’ll be glad to send it out to you free of charge. But I just asked for the everlasting life list of verses, and there’s a ton of them.

Old Testament as well. The Bible says that the believer is safe forever, and obviously you’ll never be lost or cast out. Grand News. I hope you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior. If you haven’t, you need to do that right away. We’re going to go to the phone lines here and if you want to call in the numbers 1-800-576-3771. We do have a lot of all fair questions and we’ll try to take some of these and take care of them.

Maybe we’ll take a couple right now. It says here, Robert in Pompano Beach says that you have said that there are four gospels. You did found on those in detail. This is the first time I’ve ever heard that. Well there’s the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. That was a gospel that was exclusively preached to Israel, not to anyone else, because it was to Israel that God offered a kingdom called the Kingdom of Heaven, which literally means the Kingdom of the Heavens where the Heavens would rule over the earth.

Jesus will come back in all his power with all his angels, the saints, the believers that have died will come back with him and help him rule and reign. And so this kingdom was offered to Israel and that message was only given back then. It will be preached again in the tribulation period, but it’s a message exclusively for Israel. chapter 10 where Jesus names his 12 apostles and sends them out preaching the gospel of the kingdom. It’s kind of interesting here because it tells them that they were limited as to where they could go.

These 12, Jesus sent forth Matthew 10 verse 5. These 12, Jesus sent forth and commanded them saying, go not, go not into the way of the Gentiles. And go not into any city of the Samaritans, either you not, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand. There you have it. That message was short lived as Christ was rejected. And of course the message that we preach today is the gospel of the grace of God.

That gospel has always been around. People have always been saved by grace and not by works. And we find that Paul talked about that was the ministry that he had received and all of us as believers, if you’re genuinely saved, that is the message that we preach today. Paul says in Acts chapter 20 in verse 24, none of these things move me neither count on my life, dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry which I’ve received of the Lord Jesus.

Here it is, to testify the Gospel of the Grace of God. So that is the Gospel that we preach today and the Gospel that has always been preached. There is another Gospel, the only one preached by an angel. That is the message of good news that Christ is actually now going to come back at the end of the tribulation period. We find that there is an announcement made on the earth which is a message of doom to the lost and a message of redemption for the saved.

It says in verse 6 of Revelation chapter 14, I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel. There it is, the everlasting gospel to preach unto them to dwell upon the earth, to every nation and kindred and tongue and people, saying with a loud voice, fear God and give glory to him. For the hour of his judgment is come and worship him that made the heaven and the earth in the sea in the thousands of waters.

Guess what? That’s at that point that Christ comes back in judgment and He’ll slay every unbeliever on the planet and only the believers at the end of the tribulation period will enter into the monument. The fourth gospel is that gospel which is the gospel of the grace of God that is altered, changed, or perverted. And boy do we have a lot of that today. That is, if you change the gospel of grace, to add a little bit of works here, add a little bit of works there, change it, pervert it in any way, shape, or form, all of a sudden, Galatians 1 tells us it becomes another gospel, which is really not another, but it’s the gospel perverted.

And it says it is an accursed message. It is accursed because it will not save anybody, and so the person hearing it will not be saved because it’s not the message of salvation. As soon as you pervert the Gospel of Grace, you have altered it where it becomes null and void. And we find that the person who delivers that message is also a curse of God for preaching a false message. So there you have it. There’s the four Gospels, and I hope that helps a little bit for you.

All right, we’re gonna move on to another one here. We have Joseph in Port Charlotte, and he said the other day a caller asked about the Old Testament how people were saved. They were saved by faith and not by works. And then mentioned there, Les Feldick, and if you read his website you’ll see very clearly he’s a hyper dispensationalist, believes in lots of little dispensations, I believe in dispensations but God in the gospel has always been the same. He teaches, read it carefully, that between Peter and Paul you were saved by turning from sin a wrong definition of repentance and water baptism.

Paul comes along and now you are saved by grace. His message for today is correct, but he believes that during the age of law, people were saved by keeping the law and offering animal sacrifices in the age of Noah that Noah was saved because he built the ark and so on and so on. So obviously this is an incorrect message because according to the Bible everybody who’s ever lived, who’s ever been saved, has been saved by believing the gospel.

Galatians 3 8 says the scripture, speaking of the Old Testament, foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the gospel under Abraham. Then Abraham got saved by believing on Christ, and so did everybody else who ever got saved in the Bible. They never got saved by animal sacrifices. Did you know it says in Hebrews 10, 4, it is not possible. That means it’s impossible. It’s not possible that the bulls and goats should take away sin. That’s why Christ came.

was in the Old Testament before did I coming and believe that he would come and die to pay for sin. Does this side of the cross look back to that event and nobody has ever been saved except through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Even Abel offered up a lamb, a picture of Christ. Offering up that lamb didn’t save him. It says in Hebrews chapter 11 verse 4 that Abel obtained witness that he was righteous. He was already saved.

But he obtained witness by God receiving that sacrifice that he was saved by the blood of Christ, that he offered up a sacrifice that pictured his faith in Jesus, the Lamb of God, that would be slain for the sins of the world. Do your homework, get on your website, look very carefully. You’ll find that salvation is by different methods and different times. Peter preached a different gospel in Paul, according to Les Feldak. That’s not true. Peter and Paul were on the same page.

this preached the same message and that is uh… certainly a distortion Phil, when Pimbroke Pines writes in and leaves us off our question, he says, what does Hebrews 1,7 mean? The ministers of fire part. May we connect this with the baptism of fire. No, you can’t. In Hebrews chapter 1, it says here, and two of the angels he saith, Hebrews 7, who make of his spirits, his angel spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. Here obviously it’s talking about not a question but a statement of fact that angels are spirits, and his ministers, which I believe are not necessarily angels here, are like a flame of fire.

I like that hymn. It only takes a spark to get a fire going. one of us as God’s ministers as we proclaim the gospel, bring a spark of light. And when a person believes that gospel they become safe and as they share it they also spread this fire. And the Bible uses that picture throughout the Bible that like a fire is spread. Like it only picks a spark to get that fire going. You and I as we share the gospel become his ministers of fire.

Thank you Joe and that’s a great question that you just asked. Joe also in Pibrog, Pines, leaves a second question. He says, I believe that we’re in the last days. What about the times of the Cold War with Russia in the early 80s? People thought this was going to be the end. Please explain the difference. Well, guess what? The end times are defined in Hosea, the Old Testament, Hosea the Prophet chapter 3 verse 5 as being when the Jewish people would return back to the state of Israel.

Did that happen Joe? Well it was May 14th 1948, Israel became a nation. From that point on we are in the last days. And so during the 80s we were in the last days, in the 90s we were in the last days, and here we are right into the next century, and we’re in the last days, and I think we’re in the last days of the last days, and it’s getting really close, Joe, at any time, we could be raptured out.

But all of this is the last days, and they were all right. and concluding that. We have Glenn in the Spring Hill, Spring Hill, Florida, and we’re going to go to Glenn right now and then we’ll go back to some more off-air questions. Glenn, welcome to My Blinder on the Air. Good morning, Pastor. I want to show you how you doin’ today. Good. She asked me a question and I just wanted to touch base with you and maybe get a more solid She was reading in the book of Genesis and she was in chapter 29 and starting at verse 15 she said it deals with Jacob and Rachel and Leah and what not.

And she was asking questions about how he was able to be with two different women, you know of course I think he was tricked into being with Leah and then he went on to be with to lie with Rachel and she had some questions about that and I just wanted to give you a call. Well obviously God intended for every man to just have one wife and if one of the partners died then you were allowed to remarry but he obviously violated that and many of the nations in those days around Israel were doing those kind of things but as you were his father-in-law, Laban, tricked him and they wore a veil in the marriage ceremony where he didn’t know that he was marrying the wrong girl.

And so he loved Rachel so much he was willing to work seven more years to earn her as his bride. And so this is what happened. He paid a price obviously there was jealousy between the women and so on. Let me just take a moment and say goodbye to our Miami audience. Thank you for being with me all week long. God bless you all. Then we could use your help to stay on the air down there if you want to give a gift, call Bibleline or 800 number and you can give a gift by credit card over the phone.

And that would really assure that we could stay on the air down there and maybe expand to an hour program. And we’ll be back here now to Glenn. And so he obviously had jealousies and problems and division caused by the two wives. So you paid a price for that. And obviously he broke the rules of scripture and Solomon really broke it. He had 700 wives. Wow. I mean I can’t just imagine. Can you imagine all the credit card bills he had to deal with?

It would just be phenomenal. Well the one thing I wanted to ask you to and I’ll let you go and get ready to go on your break. Come. Back then, that would be a sinning. Can God tolerate it? He didn’t approve it. I think they all paid a price for that. He had a lot of struggles that resulted from the multiple wives. But again, in those days, all the societies around their practice multiple lives. I just heard Osama Ben-Rodden has 50 children.

I don’t think he did that with one wife. and that’s in the Muslim world, they can do that multiple wives. And so what can I say? David, rather Solomon, really violated it, and he paid a big price too, and God got angry. Not necessarily because of the many wives, but because they all led him away from his heart was turned away from the true living God. We’ve got to go to break, We’ll come back into a second half hour.

You’re welcome to call us at 1-800-576-3771. Keep you ready to tune right here. We’ll be right back after this short break. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. And a lot of people when they get one of these series, they can’t wait to get another because we’ll go verse by verse and explaining each of these books. And it’s a very valuable tool.

We had a fellow come by just last week and he’s going to be teaching a particular gospel and he got our series and he was assured that that verse by verse teaching by me would equip him to be able to teach his class and so whatever way you want to use them whether you want to jump start a class by playing part of it and then have a group discussion or just glean the information and then teach it yourself.

Alright, we’re going to go back to the Bible now and if you have your Bible there you can follow along as we answer different questions. We have first up Gene in St. Petersburg and Gene welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi, my name is Gene and I wanted to know you know how and how does I mean I I believe the Bible through faith, but I mean like the continents of Australia and Asia, you know, I guess you just, would you say you just have to trust that every person that was on every continent also died in the flood?

Absolutely. It was a worldwide… flood and it appears and I can’t really prove it from the Bible but in chapter 10 after the flood it says that the earth was divided and maybe the continent is separated at that time right after the flood but one time they certainly were all connected together. I think scientists are all in agreement about that but we’ll just have to wait and see but very definitely we are all related back to Adam and I tell people that there’s no question of my mind I’m a direct descendant of no one.

Can I ask you one more question? Yeah. You know I think I’ve read we’ve only been manually teach his tranciography and you know and all And all the books they talk about how this culture was here 12,000 years ago and etc. I mean can you expound on that just a little bit and I’m going to hang up and listen to you. Sure. Sure thank you Jane for calling me I think the dating methods are flawed they found a fossilized in some borough in Mexico and it was only 200 years old.

But so some of these ways of calculating time are obviously incorrect. And it is certainly believed by many scientists that the flood disrupted this whole thing of dating things back into the past. So it’s not really accurate. But I believe, of course, that the earth is very old. I believe the earth was created in the beginning meaning when God created the heavens of the earth, and that the original earth, the planet earth, was inhabited. Plants, animals, dinosaurs, and all of God’s angels lived on this earth.

I think there are a number of passages that intimate that, and that when Satan decided to rebel and overthrow God, the earth became void and without form as we find it in Genesis 1-2, the result of that judgment. all the dinosaurs were destroyed I believe at that time and of course NASA says the same thing they say they’re not of course saying they believe in the Bible but NASA says that 65 million years ago and asteroid huge one about a hundred and.

25-150 māda amiter struck in the area of the Yucatan Peninsula and so much debris was cast up into the Earth’s atmosphere that the light of the sun was darkened and shut out for millions of years and that caused the ice ages that we had on our planet. There’s no doubt that these did occur and that the Earth probably laid in that void state for millions of years. Then about 6,000 years ago it says in Genesis 1 to the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters That word moved in the Hebrew means to brood upon her to incubate and apparently God warmed up to your thought it out Made it possible for life again the earth remember in verse 2 is flooded totally and Then in seven days God made the earth inhabitable again and this time he puts man on the planet

And so I think that’s really an answer to what happened. And the manager of the only been here 6,000 years ago according to the Bible. And that explains a lot of things really about our past. It also explains the theological questions and that is, why was Satan so motivated to cause man to sin and come under God’s curse in the garden? And when did Satan fall? If you only believe the Earth was created 6,000 years ago, then you have to say was it on day one, day two, day three, day four, day five.

Obviously, Satan was highly motivated to cause Adam to fall and was apparently already fully established. I think that he had fallen 65 million years earlier and was here confined to the Earth judged as he’s still under judgment and ready to cause the new king of the earth, Adam, to fall under God’s curse as well. So he was pretty successful in bringing again a curse upon man, but God planned a plan of redemption through Christ for mankind. Hope that helps Jane a little bit, but if you do some study on the different methods of dating.

I think there’s lots of flaws in how they do that. We’re going to go now to Ron in Jackson, Michigan and Ron, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. You’re welcome. Good. I was wondering if you had heard on yesterday’s news about producing a human clone and I was wondering what your opinion was that, what your opinion is regarding and times and things like that. I’ve always felt that once we get to the point where researchers are able to produce a human clone, that that might be dabbling in an area where God decides that, okay, enough’s enough.

Well, I think you’re perhaps right. And of course, if they do, God is the one that would give the soul to that clone. But apparently the body makeup and the features and everything would be just identical to the one that it came from. But if it’s a living being, which it would be, God would be the one that would give the soul. But God is not going to let that go on too long. And I think we’re already in the last days as we talked about that earlier that was established when Israel became a nation in 1948.

And the Old Testament prophets defined the latter days as when Israel would become a nation again. So we’re in those last days and I think man is going too far today and we’re gonna see Obviously God bring judgment upon this planet, but before he does he’s going to catch us out And that’s the rapture and I think that we’re real real close, but I think yeah man is dabbling in the areas where he shouldn’t and I think we’re You know it what was really horrible done the Holocaust and their Hitler the doctors of those days just did horrible cruel mutilations and operations on their captives just to see what would happen in experimentation with humans.

It was terrible and horrible and some of the people that survived those things suffered so greatly. It’s just an awful sidebar of the time of Hitler and the Antichrist is going to be worse. This is a prelude to all of that, but we’re getting very close to the Lord’s return. Thank you, Ron, for calling in. And we’re going to go now to Ken, indicator, Illinois, and Illinois. And. Let’s see what line you’re on there. Ken, you should be on the air.

Yes, God bless you, Doc. Yeah, but I think it’s really that’s an announcement. It’s really too late. When that angel announces that Christ is just right behind him and if you’re a believer, you give praise to God for what he did in saving you and what he’s going to do and then bringing peace on the earth and restoring the earth and making it a paradise. But to the lost, it’s a message of doom and condemnation that they’re about ready to die.

Okay, but in other words that he’s not actually preaching that if you just believe what that angel says, you’re not saved just because he says this is going to happen and that’s going to purchas- No, no, I think it’s actually a worldwide announcement. Looked out if you’re lost you’ve just waited too long and it’s over and for the save You praise the Lord because he’s back and he’s going to finally clean up the mess here on the surf. Okay.

Yeah Exactly. Okay, and then my other question, this business, this West felt it goes around and around and up and down and all this and all that. And, you know, people say the hyper-disciplined, say, if you’ve ever listened to the guy go through the Bible and actually teach the Scriptures, which is what he basically does, he’s a Sunday school teacher. You know, and I listen to you and I listen to him and I got so upset with this thing and thinking about it and pondered it.

And I’ve asked you and talked and looked and checked. I called him one time. I haven’t got him at his home and talked to him about that and I just flat out asked him about that First thing he said he said Well as far as physical death but he turns on So, right. Well, and then I asked him also about people bringing the sacrifices and he said that they were saved by believing God that they had to bring this sacrifice that this is what was necessary to cover their sins.

If that sacrifice did not save him, he said, but if a guy was sitting at the backside of the camp and said, well, it’s too far to walk that five miles up there to make a sacrifice. So I’m just going to tell God, okay, God, I believe you have sin, but I’m not going to bring that animal. He said, I don’t believe that guy would be saved. And those are hard questions to answer. And anyway, I just think that there’s some confusion as to what this guy actually is.

He believes you’re absolutely hidden through all the dispensations. This is what he told me. I don’t know what those websites are. But he told me that they’re saved by believing and accepting what God said and trusting and believing in God only by grace through faith. he said but they still had to do these other things that they’d be just as dead as the rest of the people and if they what would happen dr. Hank to a person if they believe got about bringing the sacrifice for their sin and didn’t bring the sacrifice what would happen as a question he asked me i couldn’t answer that the answers they they’re safe They are saved when they brought the sacrifice or not.

they’re safe Just like in the case of Abel. Abel brought the sacrifice, but he didn’t have to be saved. When he brought it and God received it, it says in Hebrews 11-4 that he obtained witness from God by God’s acceptance of that sacrifice that he was already saved. He was already righteous and it was a witness. So all of those things were picturing what Christ would do and were a witness of what God would do and if they believed that they were saved by their belief but not by their actually carrying it out and though it was still gone to heaven when he built the arkernan yes he would have drowned with everybody else but he was still gone to heaven and if you read his website you know he definitely teaches Peter again you had to believe but you had to believe what that you had to turn from your sin and you had to do you want to

baptize to be saved. So if you want to water baptize if you didn’t follow what Peter said for you to do you wouldn’t go to heaven which is works. I really believe he’s wrong on every age except for right now and his age doesn’t begin at Pentecost, his age begins with Paul. So that is a hyper dispensation. That’s an extra dispensation between Pentecost and Paul. In his philosophy, anyway, I right now for what he teaches from Paul’s ministry in Tola Rapture is absolutely right on.

Okay, well, I just, you know, like I said, you know, not be a highly educated scholarly fellow like you guys are. It’s hard for a fellow like me to pick that fly poop out of the pepper. Just tell you the truth and it really gets confusing. But I surely thank you. I know, I know for one thing, for sure, you’re right, absolutely on the money. Now let’s hope that he was, but I guess maybe he ain’t. So anyway, God bless you, God bless you.

I appreciate it. Thank you, Ken. And it really does get tricky. And basically, it’s not belief in what things you have to do. It’s belief in Christ that saves. Peter makes that very clear, Acts 10.43, that to Jesus give all the prophets witness that through his name, who’s to ever believe it in within him shall receive the remission of their sins. They covered the entire Old Testament, and if they simply believed in Jesus, that’s how they were saved. They didn’t have to offer the sacrifices, and Hebrews 10, 4 says, it’s not possible that those sacrifices could take care of sin.

It was impossible. That’s why Christ came and died, and it was belief in the sacrifice that Christ would mean. Abel believed that Christ would die to pay for sin, that he was the Lamb of God, and That’s what he was giving testimony to when he offered up his sacrifice. But if Abel had never offered a sacrifice, he was still good at it. He believed in the sacrifice that God would make on his behalf through Christ. Thank you, Ken, and great being with you again today from Decatur, Illinois.

We now have Carl in Tampa, Florida. Carl, welcome to Bible Anion. Good morning. Good morning. Is that back? Yes, it is. Okay, that’s back. Let me ask you. I’m just curious. I’ve never read anywhere for her anything about Adam and me. I did this show any You’re talking about their salvation Right for the salvation. Right. Yeah, absolutely Well, obviously they heard the message of the gospel up And we get part of that message there in Genesis 315 where they were told the seed of the woman Would ultimately defeat Satan and be the Savior and that’s a reference to Christ probably a verse that references the virgin birth as well as a woman would bear seed without a man and therefore in verse 20 of Genesis 3, Adam names his wife Eve, which Eve means from the Hebrew mother of all living and he named her

that because it says there he believed that she was the mother of all living even though she had not yet had a child yet. So that evidences his faith that that the woman would bring forth a son that would be the Messiah that would actually deliver them and he believed therefore in Christ. The result was verse 21 of Genesis 3 that God gave them a covering of coats and skins which obviously replaced the fig leaves which didn’t work. And it was a picture that in order to be saved an innocent animal had to be slain.

In order for you to be covered you had to have the covering that was provided by the the animal itself and of course the animal’s blood had to be shed. It was all a picture of Christ. That Christ was sinless and he had to be slain. His blood had to be shed and his righteousness would become our covering and that’s how we would be saved. And so I believe Adam and Eve were both in heaven. I think they both believed in the coming promise of the Savior.

Jesus and they believed on him and they were saved and symbolically God gave them the covering of animal skins which pictured the salvation that he would offer through Christ in the covering of God’s righteousness given to the believer. Thank you Carl for calling in, I hope that helps and thank you for that question today. We have Richard in Indiana calling in and he says in 1 Peter, it’s pretty clear, I believe that he’s speaking of Noah’s flood. And he says, I believe that explains how shells are found on the mountains.

First of all, I believe if you’re talking about 1 Peter 3, that is talking with Noah’s flood because it mentions Noah. If you’re talking about 2 Peter chapter 3, it is, I think, talking about the original flood of Genesis 1-2. There are two floods taught in the Bible. And in Genesis 1-2, it says that darkness was upon the face of the deep. God did not create the earth flooded and void. It says that plainly in Isaiah 45 18, it says that God created the earth, created it perfect.

He created it inhabited. It says actually there he did not create it vain. The word vain is the very same word translated void in Genesis 1 2. So it’s really saying that as you 45 18 God did not create it void. He didn’t create it vain. He did not create it as you find it in Genesis 1 2. That was the result of a judgment that was flood number one. Flood number two came when Noah came along and then God of course gave the promise that he would never flood the earth again and the rainbow as a reminder that he wouldn’t.

The next time this Earth gets destroyed it will be by fire according to 2 Peter chapter 3 that same chapter. But if you’ll notice in 2 Peter chapter 3 when it talks about the flood it talks about here that for this they are willingly ignorant of it God is the Creator and also that he’s coming again. By the Word of God the heavens were of old and the earth standing out of the water and in the water whereby the world that was being overflowed with water, perished.

Those world did not perish. It survived in the art, two of every kind of animal, and eight human beings, which replenish the earth. And so I believe this is not talking about that, but is actually starting with the re-creative week and concluding with the end of the seventh day of that week, which is the monument and the tradition of ungodly men, which is the lost being judged at the end of the 1,000 year of Christ. So I really believe and if you would go to my articles on the website you’ll see several written about that in the age of the earth.

Read the article, the earth how old and I think you’ll find some answers there that will help you. Thank you so much for calling you. We now have Dave in Plant City. Dave, welcome to Bibleline. I knew you were on there. Good morning, Dr. Hank. Thank you so much for taking my call. A couple years ago, that left field that guy got brought up on his show. I called out there and talked to him and asked him could you leave your salvation?

And I was told to know he couldn’t. And then I asked him about being saved in the face of cancer. And I got was just a believe in Jesus Christ and the finish works in his blood. And that was it. One thing I did. I believe that. He’s absolutely correct if you… If you start with Paul’s ministry until the Rapture, he is right on. But if you go back and see what he says about people say between Peter and Paul, they had to turn from sin and be water baptized.

That’s works. And obviously, the problem I have in it is that that has blessed me against Christ. Jesus died for every man, woman and child that would ever live, Adam included, right through the last person that would be born at the end of the millennium. never was anybody ever saved by works and basically his is of course you have to believe you have to have faith but he’s saying you have to have faith in what God told him to do and the case of the law they had to bring that sacrifice.

What about that guy five miles out that didn’t want to walk five miles that didn’t make the sacrifice? He would go to hell if he didn’t offer that is not true. He would have been saved by faith but obviously the the works that we do are witness to others and would bring reward. And so nobody’s ever been saved by walking five miles an offering of sacrifice. That’s works and I think that’s wrong. And otherwise I think he does a great job.

He and I are on the exact same page right now about salvation. But I’m just saying in the bigger picture of things, he’s missing it for every other age or time period. Salvation has always been by grace and never by works. nobody was ever saved any differently than we are today, but he says that they were. And thank you, we have now Hilton, and Hilton is in Tampa, Florida. Welcome to Bible End. Yes. You’re on here. Go right ahead.

The seventh day of the week. The seventh day of the week is Saturday. Is Saturday? That’s correct. The first day of the week is Sunday. Now Jesus came back from the dead on the first of the week. He appeared his second major appearances on the eighth day of the week. Pentecost began on the first day of the week and if you read the book of Acts and Epistles of Paul the early Christmas met on the first day of the week not the Sabbath.

So the Sabbath is the law and we are told no longer are we under the law or no one should judges today regarding the Sabbath. If you were living in the times under the Sabbath we’re not under the Sabbath today. We’re under grace and we are not told that we have to observe the Sabbath today. The early Christians didn’t. But this is why I’m confused. I just married this girl who’s Jewish by choice. She believes in Jesus with me.

I have my father, the Quotam Yawai. She is strict and the fact that on Saturday we don’t do any work. We go to church on Friday from Friday to Saturday. I need more time to discuss this with you.
