Or at least we’ll try. We’re going to go to Genesis and in verse 1 of Genesis it says, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Interesting verse and it really tells us that God existed prior to the beginning. the creation of space and time God already had existed. So there are obviously four dimensions there that God has created, that He is not bound by. Space is three dimensions, length, breadth and height, and time is a fourth dimension.

And here it tells us about in the beginning God created. So we find that when the beginning began. We find that God was already existent from eternity past and he brought into existence the four dimensions that you and I presently enjoy. And by the way we’re bound by them, but God is not bound by them. In fact, is believed that God must operate in about nine dimensions to be able to carry out the things that he does. What I think is so fascinating is that all the world religions describe their god or gods in terms of four dimensions why because their band made gods their man-made but the god of the universe the bible tells us is higher than us greater than us and uh…

his knowledge and wisdom is far beyond what we will ever know and we find that uh… uh… we would expect the true living god to be obviously not bound by these dimensions that we are. And apparently, whenever God appears in time, he always appears in the present tense. God never says I was, or I’m going to be. He always says, I am. And that’s the name that God used when he appeared to Moses at the Burning Bush in Exodus chapter 3.

Jesus in the New Testament claims that he’s the same God that appeared to Moses, the God that is identified as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And there Jesus says, His name is I Am. And in John 824, Jesus said, you shall die in your sins because you believe not that I am. And so if you do not recognize the deity of Christ and that Jesus Christ is God Almighty Himself and that He is God who took on flesh, you will die in your sins.

the old eye responsible for your sins and wind them and help because you will have rejected the provision that God made for our sins through Jesus Christ. Well here the Bible tells us that the universe had a beginning. Did you know that for the past several centuries scientists said that the universe was eternal? That it had no beginning and no ending. That’s right. You might remember if you took a little bit of chemistry there was the law of the constellation of matter.

I remember learning about that way back when in high school and it said basically the matter could not be created nor destroyed. And that is true for chemical relationships, but it doesn’t tell the big picture. But because of that, scientists began to say, since matter cannot be created nor destroyed, therefore the universe has always been. And that was believed right up until rather recently that the universe was eternal and it had no beginning, had no ending, that it has always been and always will be.

But guess what? That contradicted the Bible. So we had a rift between science and scientist and the Bible as a result. But guess what? They’ve come full circle today. We’ve had Einstein come along and tell us that matter can be created out of energy in his form in our E is equal to MC squared. Energy and mass are equitable times the coefficient of light squared. Then a man named James Hubble comes along after which the Hubble telescope is named and he discovered that the universe is expanding outward.

Well, these two factors coming together obviously, meant a science to a new conclusion that the universe exploded into being from a point. You know, when you reverse what Hubble was seeing, the expanding universe and you kind a reverse side, it goes back to a point where the universe exploded into being from a particular point in space. And that Einstein came along and told us that manor could be created out of energy. And by the way, that’s exactly what the Bible says.

Jeremiah 10, 12, 30, well, 3000 years ago. Jeremiah tells us the earth was created by God out of his energy. Point was the Bible ahead of Einstein or what? Three thousand years before Einstein the Bible tells us the very concept that Einstein came along with ease equal to MC squared. So we find that scientists now are saying the Big Bang is true, that apparently the universe had a beginning and of course if the universe had a beginning there must be a beginner, somebody who began it and obviously that points us back to God.

God in the beginning created the heavens and the earth. It’s quite remarkable, isn’t it? That the Bible is right in line with what we know to be science. You know, science is always dragging his feet behind the truth, and the Bible is way ahead of science as it tells the truth before science ever catches up. The Bible tells us the earth is round thousands of years ago. The Bible tells us that the universe is created out of God’s energy thousands of years ago.

The Bible tells us that the stars in our universe are innumerable, that they cannot be numbered Bye Man. You know, you say, well, I knew that. That’s not a big deal. But guess what? Until the telescope, which is a rather recent invention, you know, Galileo only lived a couple hundred years ago. And until Lew and Hook ground the first lens and the telescope was then put together by Galileo, men thought that they could number all the stars in our heavens.

The largest number of stars counted by the naked eye was between 3 and 5,000. I think the biggest count was really around 4,500 stars. And they thought they had counted them all. Little did they know, with the telescope, they discovered that there are many more than 4,500 stars. I’ll never forget seeing Carl Sagan on television saying, there are billions and billions and billions. What they’re saying now, trillions and trillions and trillions. In fact, no scientist today would ever venture to say that we could number all the stars in the universe.

We can’t. And the Bible said that thousands of years ago. That’s why I believe the Bible’s the word again. The Bible is accurate and this particularly caught my attention because I was raised in a scientific atmosphere. I love science all the way through junior high and senior high. I decided to go on with a career in science. I went to the University of Florida and graduated in electrical engineering because this was my God. And I thought science had all the answers, but I discovered that science doesn’t have all the answers.

And I found the Bible to be the most reliable book that I’ve ever come across, telling us things that today are becoming known and discovered as fact. And the Bible said thousands of years ago that God would do exactly that. He would tell us things before we discovered them, before we knew them, and we would then have to admit that he was the author of the Bible. We find that all three members of the Godhead were involved in the creation, and in Colossians, if you want to turn there with me, I’ll give you the page number.

I use the Scofield Reference Bible, and if you have that old Scofield Reference Bible in your hand, it’ll be page 1262. I encourage you to get one of these skill field Bibles because the notes are excellent. Well in any case it tells us here about Jesus Christ verse 16 it tells us he is the Creator and of course we know God the Father the eternal Father is the Creator. We know that Jesus Christ the second eternal member of the Godhead is the Creator and the Holy Spirit is also the Creator.

All three members of the Godhead working in concert brought about the universe and in In fact in Genesis 1-1 it says, in the beginning God, and that Hebrew word translated God is Elohim. Elohim in the Hebrew is plural. Plural in Hebrew means three or more. In English plural is two or more, but in Hebrew they have words that are singular, meaning only one. They have words that are dual that mean only two, and then they have words that are plural and they mean three or more.

And so it really is saying in the beginning God plural three or more and obviously it includes the Trinity, the triune Godhead, the father, the son, the Holy Spirit, all working in concert created the heavens and the earth. Verse 16 says here, for by him, that is by Jesus Christ, Colossians 1 16, were all things created that are in heaven and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created by Him and for Him.

Isn’t that incredible? We find here that Jesus Christ is the Creator and everything was created by Him, whether visible or invisible, whether it be in heaven or here on the earth. And then it says in verse 20, verse 17 of Colossians chapter 1, he Christ is before all things. He obviously existed before the universe began. The same wonderful truth confirmed, Zen Genesis 1-1, and then it says here also, by him all things consist. That That word consists means they are held together.

Jesus Christ is the glue that holds this universe together. Did you know that every atom, what does it stick together? In the center of every atom there are protons and neutrons. In fact, they discovered about 36 different particles now within the atom. It’s not a very simple thing like they once thought that it was. But the atom contains protons and neutrons in the center of the atom. Proteins are all positively charged particles. Now we know that like particles repel and those particles are pushing against each other, wanting to separate, why doesn’t the atom crack apart?

Why doesn’t it split? The answer is… And I got this in a nuclear physics class when I was at the University of Florida. They said nuclear glue. I thought well that’s a cop-out. They really can’t tell you why it’s all together. And in fact the answer is right here in the Bible. Jesus Christ is the one that holds this universe together. You know those powers within the center of each atom are extremely powerful. Those forces. If you were to take, and I know they’re not.

This is not going to be meaningful to many of you, but one Coulomb of electronic charge and put it one meter or one yard away from another Coulomb of electric charge. The force is pushing apart between those two points. And by the way, a Coulomb is less than a gram. A Coulomb is less than a millionth of a gram. Can you imagine a gram on your hand? You couldn’t feel it probably. But a thousandth, I mean a millionth of a gram, could you feel that?

I doubt it. Well guess what? A coulomb is obviously very, very small in mass and it would be less than one thousandth of a millionth of a gram. And if you were to take a point of electrons of one coulomb and it’s only one thousandth of a millionth of a gram and separated by a meter between another coulomb of electricity. Do you know the power pushing away between those two points would be 100 million tons? You heard me right, 100 million tons.

That is the power within the atom. When the atom is split, for example, in an atomic bomb, the mass is converted to energy and that energy is incredible. Wow, the Bible is ahead of its time. It tells us about the atoms and the whole universe is held together by Jesus Christ. He’s the one that created it. He’s the one that holds it together. If he ever took his hand off this universe, we would just absolutely be converted back to energy.

Everything would just disappear. You would no longer see any stars or planets or asteroids or any other pieces of mass. It would all turn back to what it came from, and that is energy as God created the universe out of his energy. We don’t have time to discuss more of that today, but we have lots of callers, so we’re going to go to our phone lines. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to go to Roy in the Berry fora and Roy.

Welcome to the Bible on your on the air. My question comes from that part at the end where it says I’m in what’s the letter just So I can hear you explain that in, you know, the world prospers of financial wealth. So I’m going to hang up in different ways. Well, you’re absolutely right. And what is considered prosperous in God’s side is not the same thing as what the world teaches as prosperity. The world teaches, of course, generally monetary wealth and fame and so on and so on.

But the Bible talks about when you follow God’s Word to the letter that you are then successful in God’s sight and the rewards will be in heaven and they’ll be there forever. I’m going to just go to another passage to answer this one because I love what it says in Joshua chapter 1 in the Old Testament here. God is speaking to Joshua and he says in chapter 1 of Joshua. This book will go to verse 7 of Joshua chapter 1, be only be thou strong and very courageous that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law which things my servant Moses commanded thee, turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper with us, however thou goest.

So basically, prosperity in God’s sight is us being obedient to His Word. One day He will reward you greatly in heaven far beyond your wildest imaginations, greater than any treasures that you’d ever amass in this lifetime here on this earth. So Roy, it’s talking about heavenly treasures, heavenly rewards. Jesus said in Matthew 619, lay up not for yourselves treasures here upon the earth. Please break through and steal them, rust, creps and mausage it up, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where your treasure will be safe and be there forever.

Thank you Roy for calling in from the Berry Florida. We now have David in Plant City. David, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Dr. Hank, how are you today? Thank you so much for taking my call. I’d like to ask you about the Ark of the Covenant. It was an Ark of the Covenant. Great question. I do believe they have to put one in there and whether they can start brand new. I don’t know how God feels about that.

But there are lots of speculations about what happened to the form mark of the covenant. Some believe it’s hidden right now underneath the Temple Mount. And… Perhaps so. I know that I have gone through the tunnel along the temple wall underground and there’s a place there where they say you’re exactly in line with a holy of holies. And some people say that when you touch the wall there you get a little bit of a shock. I’m such a skeptical person.

I always like to test everything out. I touch that wall up and down, left and right and all around. I didn’t get any shocks. But anyway, they say that perhaps it might be there. It’s also believed it might be down in Ethiopia. It’s a long-standing tradition that when the Jews in the first dispersion were kicked out of Israel, that many went down into Ethiopia and that the Ark of the Covenant is hidden there. Some others believe it was whisked away down toward the Dead Sea and is hidden in a cave like the Sadesses’ Coles were hidden.

I don’t know the answer, but I know that apparently if it is hidden someplace, maybe the Jews already know where it is, but we’ll probably bring it forth until they actually erect their temple. Good question, and we’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. I don’t know the correct answer for that because nobody knows. I don’t believe that answer. We’re going to Mulberry Forta. We’re going to talk to Martha now, and we want to welcome Martha to the Bible and program Martha is in Mulberry, Florida and welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Thank you for taking my call. What I would like to know is in Genesis 9 where Noah was drunk in the vineyard and on verse 24 and he said when he awoke, his younger son, he knew what his younger son had done to him. Could you explain that to me please? I sure can. What he did there is committed a homosexual act upon his dad. Part of what was happening during the age of the part of the flood was that there was such immorality and corruption and there was only evil in the heart of man and apparently homosexuality was a major problem.

And of course I believe that that’s where his sons apparently were aware of homosexuality and when Noah was drunk, this one son came in and committed a homosexual act on his father. That’s what happened and that’s what the curse was all about and obviously that was something that was wrong. Then we have of course a little bit later solving them more again. Then the Bible says in the last times when Jesus would come back we would again have the homosexuality and wow.

I mean it’s worldwide today and it’s in our face every day and the Bible said that would be a sign of the last days. We read Isaiah chapter 3 all about the last days. It talks about homosexuality would not be hidden, but it would be open and in our face and pushed on us and we’re seeing that happen right now as a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. And what chapter did you say that with Ann? Isaiah chapter 3. Isaiah 3.

Okay, well thank you very much. You’re very welcome. Thank you Martha. We now have Debbie in Chesterfield, Virginia. And Debbie, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Debbie, are you there? Yes, I am. Good morning. In an email devotional that I received, it said that Peter was married, had children, and that Jesus lived with him for three years in Capernaum. Is that correct? I don’t know that Jesus lived with him, but certainly Peter was married. You’ll see, for example, one passenger comes to mind is in Matthew 8.

We have here a story that says Matthew 8. It says here in verse 14, when Jesus was coming to Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid sick of a fever. So if his wife had a mother, he obviously had a wife and obviously Peter, when Jesus came into his house, maybe he stayed there. And I’m not too sure if he lived with Peter, no, we don’t think we can prove that. But definitely Peter was married and it doesn’t really tell us about his children, but that may also be true.

I wouldn’t doubt that Peter had children as well. Okay, well thank you. And we are receiving your first Peter Bible lessons here by DVD and they’re wonderful and thank you very much. Oh, wonderful. Isn’t that great? Well, thank you. Okay, we’re taking them to over 10 weeks rather than the five and they’re great. They’re clear, easy to understand and we’re enjoying those very much. Isn’t that exciting? Well, that’s wonderful. Yeah, we’re teaching right now first Peter. We’ve gotten four class hours done and we have them on CD and DVD.

She just mentioned she’s already gotten apparently some of the classes of first Peter on DVD. You can play them on DVD player. If you have a huge screen TV you can put it up for the whole family to watch. We’ve got to go to break. Half hour has just fled away from us. We’re going to take a break and come back into a second half hour. So keep your radio tuned right where it is and we’ll come back and do a second half hour of Bible Don’t go away Bibleline will be back in a moment.

Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771 That’s 1-800-576-3771 Well, I’m not drinking instruments fun being with you today We’re having a lot of fun here Bibleline and this is Friday and we’ve been here all week long and we’re excited about about in the Tampa Bay area we play the best of and we’re on Saturday and Sunday. And some other areas stations carry the program on the weekend as a bonus. You’ll have to check with your station but certainly we’re there on the Internet.

Anytime a day, any time of night you can go there and watch those programs. Usually it comes up on the Internet a couple hours after the show is over. So, usually about two or three in the afternoon, the Bibleline Program for today will be up there. But otherwise, you can go anytime at a night and catch programs for the past year. We’re excited about being with you every day and we sure thank God for all of you who are listeners.

They’re open every day till about 4.30 Monday through Friday and you can always come by on a worship date. Now if you can’t do any of that, guess what? Because of the internet. If you go to our website, you can visit our resource center online, our online bookstore.

Also, you can visit our worship service live. Isn’t that amazing? You can actually click on the camera on the home page at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning, Eastern time, and you’ll be connected to the live worship service. And of course, after that during the week, you can go and click on a year’s worth of sermons all sitting there. And this is though you’re sitting right there with me as we deliver the message. Keep that in mind. Not too late to go to Israel.

I was told that we still have throughout this weekend, I guess, to be able to sign up. If you would like to go, give me a call and I’ll get you on board with us. trip number 15, leaving February 25, coming back March 7. I’d sure love to have you go with me. It ought to be a wonderful trip and it’ll be safe. We also definitely want you to know that we have some really great things in our resource center.

The Schofield Bible in itself is a treasure. And that’s what I use and I think you’ll find it very helpful to you in your Bible study and your learning. And I hope that you’ll get yourself a copy. We have it in an inexpensive soft cover for 20 and then you can spend for a large print, genuine leather, thumb index and all the fancy stuff for around 100. So check it out, call us and we’ll be glad to guide you to what you might be looking for.

And we have all kinds of books and commentaries. The ones I recommend are in this collection we have in our Resource Center. We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break into a second half hour. So I hope you’ll keep your rated dial tuned right where it is and join me now for part two. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr.

Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and it’s wonderful to be able to be with you We’re excited about being with you every day Monday through Friday live and of course On the internet you can catch us 24 7 from anywhere in the world you have friends and relatives in other countries tell them about the website and they’ll be able to Connect up to this radio program live or listen to it in archive Also, if you have people in the military, we have several calling in from different military bases, Fort Banning, Fort Bragg and others, they’re listening to the live worship service all Sunday morning in the barracks and catching Bible and on radio throughout the week.

And we’re excited about servicemen being able to get the Bible. We had a fellow in the armed services combined a couple weeks ago in our service. He said he came back from Afghanistan. And they’re in Afghanistan. They would gather together in the barracks and would gather around the laptop and watch the worship service live. He said it really kept them going and got them through their experience in Afghanistan. Pray for that, that’s exciting. And pray for Bible end. You know, we’re totally listeners supported.

It’s people like you who enjoy the program who really make it possible for us to be on the air because it is your gifts that pay the bills to keep us on the different stations and by the way you could be a partner with us and help us out would you pray for us that’s at the top of the list we want you to pray for us and if you could give a gift that would be great we have a little lady that said i’ve made a commitment to give a dollar day to buy blind every month she handle rivers of check to me says here’s my promise fulfilled one dollar a day for Bibleline.

And you know, I think she’s inspired a number of other people to do the same. You know, if everybody listened to that, we would be able to be all over the earth, I think, on every station available. But we still are pushing our way out because we need that commitment. If everybody gave a little, maybe just a dollar a day to Bibleline, we would have all that we needed to carry these programs around the world. Consider that, would you?

You can give a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also call and ask for envelopes to be sent with our address on it, and you can mail your gift to a Bible. We’re now going to the phone lines. We have Jim in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He’s been holding all the way through the break. So Jim, we’re certainly excited about being with you. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi. Hi, Jim. Hi, Dr. Lindstrom. I have a question about Hebrews 6, verses 4 to 6.

What is talking about there, Jim, is a Christian who has been saved. Verse 1 talks about the foundation which cannot be repeated and that is repentance from dead works to change your mind and realize that works cannot save you and simply trust Christ. And then it talks about in verse 1 going on to maturity to become a mature believer. It says in verse 4, if you fall away from your confidence or from your service to the Lord, it’s impossible for you to go back and be renewed under that repentance that got you saved to begin with, because you’re saved forever by the one time death of Jesus of the cross.

So if you attempt to become saved again, verse 6 tells us that you would be crucifying Christ again to yourself all over again and you’d be putting Him to an open chain. You would be saying that His one time death was not sufficient to save you eternally. And that of course is a blasphemy against Christ. It’s still be saved, but you can’t go back and become saved again. What you need to do is start serving again. You’ll notice verse 9 says we’re talking about things that accompany salvation.

These are the things that are after we become saved. And verse 10 says, God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love. He’s going to remember everything you’ve done and reward it in heaven. So it’s saying you need to get back and start serving again. So if you fall away from serving the Lord, you cannot fall from salvation. That’s impossible. John 637 Christ says you will know why he has cast out anyone that comes to him. John 639 said he would not lose one, not one person who has come to him.

So once you’re saved or stuck, you’re going to have no matter what. But if you fall away from serving him, you need to get off the ground, dust yourself off and start serving again. And it’s saying it’s impossible really to go back and be saved again. It’s impossible to go through that repentance, that change of mind, that occurred when you trusted Christ as your only hope of heaven. When you try to do that, you crucify Christ again to yourself.

and put Christ in open chain. Hope that helps a little bit, but that’s the answer. Thank you, Jim. God bless you. Thank you for listening. Up there in Scranton, Pennsylvania, we’re now going to go to Don in Treasure Island, and Don, welcome to Bibleline. I’m great to be with you today. Good morning, Pastor. I have a question on death and dying. I recently picked up a book in your library called One Minute After You Die, which is a is a fantastic bye.

By lecture, I think it was. Yeah, Erwin Lutzer. It was a wonderful, wonderful book. In fact, I’m going to buy a whole bunch of them and use them back home in Wisconsin. But my question is, last year when I was down here, I saw a man on television who had written a book called, I think it was 10 minutes after you die. And I watched him on television, and his testimony was really exciting. He was obviously a born-again Christian.

So I went on and bought his book. I think it was 10 minutes after you die, if I’m not mistaken. and uh… and he happened to him for those ten minutes that he was pronounced dead and then i came back again and uh… uh… you said uh… i think on the air that uh… that this is not not valid because of he was uh… nine twenty seven is a point unto man once to die and then comes to judgment and of course i’m familiar with it with me it’s true but my question is in so many people were saved uh…

according to his testimony through the writing of that book written to to him that they were saved because of… Isn’t it possible since Jesus also, during his time here, he raised Lazarus and the widow of Maine’s son I’m a son and Paul and Peter were involved in bringing someone back to life. Isn’t it possible that the Lord did allow this man to die and come back again and relate his experience so that… so that many, many, many people could be saved, and I’ll hang up and listen to you on the radio.

Okay, thank you, that. No, I don’t buy that at all. Once you die, you die, and you don’t come back. And I think this is really a false message Satan is proclaiming. And you have to ask yourself, and I think I’m familiar with it, and I don’t think his gospel is very clear. So I don’t know about a thousand people who can even say, maybe a thousand people are being misled. So you have to be careful as to what message is being preached by the person who has these experiences.

And generally, I have found a flawed gospel also, which obviously nobody gets saved if you have a perverted gospel or or muddy gospel, it is a mixture of Christ plus works to get you into heaven. But when you die, you die, you don’t come back, we’re absent from the body, present with the Lord. Paul, of course, did get caught up in the heaven, I believe that, and he was allowed to come back. But you might note what Paul said in 2nd Corinthians chapter 12 that he saw things that were unlawful to talk about so he was not allowed to talk about that experience.

So I don’t believe this guy would be giving permission to speak about it if he actually had it happen. Obviously if Paul was not allowed to speak about it, read that passage in 2nd graders 12 and maybe add that to the mix because Paul did actually go to heaven. He did actually come back but he said he was forbidden to say a word about it and to keep his mouth shut and keep him humble, God made him sick. Well, isn’t that something?

So, Don, I don’t believe it. And I think if he did it, he shouldn’t talk about it. He shouldn’t have written a book about it. Because if Paul wasn’t allowed to talk about it, I am absolutely sure this guy would be for it to talk about it. And I think he’s out of line. If you use the Bible as the standard, this is wrong. Okay, thank you Don. That was great to hear you. We now have Gino in Tampa, Florida and Gino welcome to Babylon.

I’ll turn your radio down Gino. It’s coming through loud and clear. Okay, I’ll turn it now. Okay. One day we were talking about angels and not being any male angels or wings. I just wanted to know quickly what is a cherubim in a cherubim I thought. They were, I always thought they were like different types of angels. Well, they’re not. That’s the way the problem comes I think for some. The cherub and the cherub, that singular, are special living creatures.

You see Revelation chapter 4 describes the four living creatures around the throne of God. Those are cherubs and they do have wings. And the seraphim you read about those Isaiah chapter 6 about the throne of God. They are special creatures and they have wings. Apparently they are quite different than anything we’ve ever seen before. They have eyes in front, eyes in back, and they seem to roll around like they’re on wheels and all kinds of interesting things. And the chair of been Chapter 4 of Revelation actually have four different faces.

So that would be quite unique, wouldn’t it? But they’re not angels. So the angels, angels that we talk about as the general angel don’t have wings and they’re all male, they’re no baby angels, and guess what? They don’t sing. I can’t find them first anywhere in the Bible. It says, angels sing. So I hope that helps a little bit. The cherub and the serum are living creatures that are specially created, a very, very limited number. You read about four of them in Revelation chapter 4, and apparently there’s just a handful or more of those created beings and no more, and the angels are innumerable.

There are tons of those. Okay, the second question, really, is that I heard a call a call and asked about, you talk about homophicially with the sun and what did I want to say was no more than one of the sun’s committed on artificial acts. Which sun wasn’t? Because I heard some things about when people look at that, they feel that this looks, I want to say, hand, hand which is the father of both of them, black or African people, and that this curse was put a curse on the black people.

This is a state of the world. But I was going to hang up and listen to that. Okay, I believe it was him, but the curse I see was placed on the grandson because God or Noah had already blessed his son, his three sons. So he wasn’t going to undo the blessing, but he passed the curse down upon the grandson and there was a curse upon those descendants of him. But that’s really what the sin was. And when you talk about anywhere in the Bible where it talks about uncovering their nakedness, it’s talking about a carnal sexual knowledge of intercourse or sexual activity.

And it’s obviously outside of marriage and it’s not the sexual activity that God says is undefiled as we read in Hebrews 13 5. So I hope that answers that question and we’re going to try to take some of our own fair questions here if we can. Again, if you have your Bible you can follow along with us and if you don’t have a Scofield, I mean encourage you to get one. We have quite a variety of the old Scofield.

If you go to your Christian bookstore, guess what they’re going to say. They’re going to say probably the new Scofield number 3, the hybrid which has notes added that are not by Dr. Schofield, many of which I totally disagree with. The notes that Dr. Schofield wrote are watered down and they’re not as powerful as they are in the old Scofield, which is we’re talking about the 1909 and the 1909 editions, and that’s what we have here in our stock.

We have Dan in Tampa 40, he says, are you committed with or rather familiar with his restaurant religion? I’m told that it’s over 6,000 years old, and can you comment? Well, these are Eastern religions, and again, we are talking about things that are taught that are formed to Christianity. This is obviously not Christian. And 6,000 years old, I sincerely doubt that. I think these are all exaggerations. But they’ve been around for quite a while. But the belief system in all religions, here’s the common denominator.

They all teach you have to work your way to heaven. And that’s true of even the Christian counterfeit, which is a false religion as well. The only truth is the It’s the opposite of religion and that is that God did for men what man could not do for himself and that God made the payment for our sin and we simply receive it as a gift. It says in Romans 6, 23, the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The gift of God is eternal life. In all these religions, it’s not a gift. You have to work for it. That’s true in Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, the Christian religion. It’s all by works. That’s false. And if you have to do something, then it’s of yourself and the Bible says in Ephesians 2 8, 4 by grace or by unmerited favor, Are you saved through faith in Jesus Christ and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works list that even should both.

So it is obviously in that category and there’s really hundreds and hundreds of false religions out there. We’re going to go to Ron and Jackson, I guess is that Michigan, Jackson and Michigan. Ron, welcome to Bibleline your own here. Yes intimidating a minute ago about your preference for the 1909 Old Stole Field. Do you have any opinion about the 1917 Old Stole Field? Well actually Dr. Scofield added in the center column a number of things and there’s some changes but their improvements really.

So 1970s better in 1909. Okay. And so they’re both good now, but he added the dates, for example. But if you have the 1909, there’ll be no dates at the top of each center column. In the 1917, you’ll see dates at the top of every center column. That was one of the major additions, which is improvement. Okay. I was just wondering because I recently got a copy of the 1917 Old Skull Field, King James, but signed in 1909. I suppose they probably don’t print those anymore, do they?

You can get them and the getting all these old skill fields are getting more scarce. You know, the devil is really good about trying to get rid of them. And I think it really is a safe-handing attack. There was no need for a disco field. That’s all marketing. You know, when the Scofield Bible copyright ran out, you could have a copyright for 27 years. You can renew it once. That’s 54 years and then anybody can print it. Well, the old school field Bible now is out of copyright and I could print it.

You could print it if you wanted to do that and publish it and sell it. But the Oxford Press that had the copyright decided like any other product, new code gate, new tide, new whatever to come out with a new one so they could copyright that and carry the market with the because everybody wants new right it’s not some of our end of this illusion that new is better but in this case new is not better and so that’s what happened and they carried the market most people are buying the wrong one okay thank you Ron that was great to have you call in and we recommend the old it’s better than the new if you compare you’ll you’ll see readily that the new one is definitely inferior to the old.

Joe in Pimbroke Pines calls in, off air, and he says, I want to give a permanent issue of salvation, CD, to someone. Can you give any suggestions as to what you should say to introduce the CD to your friend? And I just say that, well, there’s lots of different things you can say, but I think you might say that you enjoyed the CD very, very much and you’d like to get their opinion on it. I think if you ask them to somehow respond, they’re more likely to listen to it.

So if they don’t believe in internal salvation, get them to listen to it and say, could you refute? Or would you be in agreement with what this CD says? Would you check it out for me and get them to do a little project for you and study it carefully so that they can come back with an answer to you. That I think would help. Ellen in Tampa, Florida calls in and leaves an unfair question. She says, I know the guy has a plan for the life of believers.

That’s the also that plans for the lives of unbelievers. Well, number one is hell. Every unbeliever is going to wind up in hell forever and ever and ever. That’s a plan. God’s plan. And they certainly aren’t going to like that. And obviously, They are really living in this world as being alienated from God, not in the family of God, not receiving the things of the Spirit of God. So they’re kind of in spiritual darkness as they wander through this world.

Oh, um… He uses unsaved men to carry out his purposes anyway. We know that when Mary was pregnant, she was living in Nazareth. But she had to be in Bethlehem at the time of the birth for the prophecies to be fulfilled, that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. So what did God do? He had a Caesar on the other side of the earth make a decree that everybody should go back to the city of their birth for the senses.

the census and taxing, and that put an undue burden on so many people and married being one of them, being great with child, she had to travel over a hundred miles down to Bethlehem and was there when she was ready to be delivered and she delivered her baby in Bethlehem and fulfilled the prophecy of Micah 5.2 that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. So God uses unsafe men, no doubt, to sometimes carry out His purposes. to have Carlos in Brandon Ford and Carlos here on the air.

Turn the radio down and you’re on the air Carlos. You have to listen over the phone. If you try to listen over the radio there’s a 20 second delay and you might go insane. So you got it. You got it? I hear you good. Yeah Carlos. Hey, first of all, I’m poor. I may be you got to close out you guys to a Catholic religion. the Catholics. I don’t have any, you know, I’m just… We’re very, very far. The Catholics really make up the rules as they go, and we follow the Bible.

So that’s the big difference. We’re as far as East is from West. The Catholic Bible has all kinds of rules that are man-made, and they invent places like purgatory. No such thing in anybody’s Bible, but the Catholic Church teaches it. There’s no such place as limbo. The Pope apparently finally conceded on that and dropped limbo in a couple of months back. And they change their mind about everything, whereas the Bible never changes. And what we learn from God’s Word is true and will never change or be altered.

And so we’re definitely not into following the teachings of men, which is what the Catholic Church is all about. Okay. It is the thing talking about God. I mean, I just, I don’t read the Bible, honestly. I’ve never seen our every like five, six, seven pages of the Bible. I don’t read maybe the first one is lovely. I like it. You know, it’s like when God created and you know, like you say in the beginning of your program, he was the beginning.

I mean, he was there. So, you know, I mean, I follow and I listen to the program frequently. I just want you to, I want to take this opportunity to let everybody know that I listen, I do most every day I canFOX. It’s lovely, I like it. And Carlos, what you need to do though is trust Jesus as your savior as the only means of your getting to heaven. Have you done that? Yeah, but another question. Another question before we thought.

I like to go to your worship or whatever thing you have going. You say you’ve got some program that we can go and visit you and have a talk or listen personally at the program. I’d just like to have a chance one day and go, what can I do? Well we worship every Sunday morning at 10.30 and every Sunday evening at 6 o’clock and you’re welcome to come and be a part of those worship services. And we have additionally classes in the Bible that I teach on Sunday morning before the service and we have other classes for all ages that are also offered as adult classes and we We have a Wednesday night program for young people and adults where the Bible is taught.

And right now we’re having a Tuesday night class on 1 Peter and you can come and sit in on that from about 7.15 to 9.15 every Tuesday night. One question real quick. Okay. Okay. Like the 10, the Bible, those are like, you know, like real things. You understand? Yes. I mean like if you kill somebody, they will be punished by God because that’s…

I’m a writer of law. Absolutely. Definitely. And you probably go to jail if not be executed or electrocuted there in Florida for that crime. So definitely. But you’ll still go to heaven, regardless. There are murders in heaven that have been forgiven. Moses committed murder and David, King David, the Old Testament, murdered murder. They were all saved. God forgives, but you must trust Jesus as your Savior to be forgiven. Okay, I don’t know. I’m going to have to hold off because we’re at the end of the program, Carlos.
