And you too, if you’re listening today and you’re not sure about where you spend eternity, we hope that you would trust the Lord Jesus Christ and you’re only hope of heaven and receive his free gift of everlasting life, which is offered free to all those that would simply trust Christ as their Savior.

We just finished teaching 1 Peter and those 10 hours of teaching are now available on CD and DVD. We hope you’ll take advantage of you can call our 800 number and order that series. And a lot of people are doing that and enjoying. It turned out to be a wonderful set. We also have just completed the Gospel of John 20 Hours of Teaching on CV and DVD. If you’d like to get that wonderful sent, it’s available. Plus about 40 others.

We have the Book of Revelation. That’s really a popular one. The Book of Daniel, we have the Book of Romans. We have the Book of Hebrews, which is considered a difficult book. If you go out there in the bookmark and I look for books and commentaries on Hebrews, There are very few and the ones who write them are their thin little books because apparently they don’t want to comment very much on Hebrews because they can’t figure it out. We believe we have dealt with all the difficult problems in Hebrews and make them plain for you and you might want to get that Hebrews said.

It’s really a good one. Plus we have those commentary sets that I like so much and we have two. One is the Jameson Foset Brown which I love so much, covers something on every verse in the Bible that three volumes set sells for about 140-50. We have it for a hundred and it is marvelous. Then we have the Jameson rather the J. Vernon McGee five volumes set which is a wonderful set, beautifully bound five volumes and it takes you through the whole Bible and J.

Vernon McGee does such a wonderful job in giving you the right direction on each chapter. It doesn’t come very reverse but he does cover every chapter he gets you go in the right direction. And if you have the two commentaries, you really have it made. The Vernon McGee sells for about 200 everywhere, and we have that also for gift 100. So that’s a nice addition to your library. Plus we have lots of things that are costing a lot less.

We have a lot of books by Dwight Pentecost, an excellent author. We have his book on Hebrews, Philippians. We have his book on first John, which is a wonderful book on fellowship. We have his book Things That Become Sound Doctrine, which really I like that one has a great book. great chapter on repentance and nails it. It’s not turning from sin, it’s not sorrow for sin. It’s a change of mind. When you understand that, boy, just clarifies so many things because Satan has taken advantage of the mistranslation of the Greek word metanoia into the English word repent, which does not mean the same thing and causes grief ever since.

The Greek word really means to change your mind. And when you repent, you change your mind about whatever you’re trusting in. To be saved, you change your mind about who Christ is if you don’t recognize Him as God who took on Him in the flesh. And you change your mind about whatever you may have been trusting in to now trusting Jesus alone as your only hope of heaven. That’s a great book by Dwight Pentecost. We have so many. You can order a resource sheet.

Just call in and we’ll send that out to you for your charge. You can also go online and actually see all of our resources at our Resource Center by clicking on the online bookstore once you get to our website BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the home page on the online bookstore and you’ll get our Resource Center. Click on the spinning globe and you’ll get our radio page and our radio programs and if you click on the TV set you’ll get our TV programs and if you click on the camera you’ll get our worship services.

We’ve been excited about webcasting our worship services live as you go there at 11 o’clock Sunday morning and click on the camera on the homepage you’ll get our worship service live. And we have people watching from Australia, from Europe, from Canada, from all over. We’re absolutely amazed to hear from these people are watching our worship services in other countries, it truly is the world wide web. And you can watch it. We have been in mind their church members. If they get sick and they can attend church, they say, boy, how wonderful it is to be tuning in at home.

And although it’s not as good as being actually in the service, it’s the second best they tell me. Somebody just told me that last night they were sick the last weekend and they watched our Worship service on the internet and in that night so go to BibleLineMinistries.org click on the spinning globe for radio Click on the TV set for television click on the camera for the worship services And there’s a whole year sitting there waiting for you to look at and we hope that you’ll take advantage of these things Give your Bible get it out then we’ll go to our phone callers.

We have a lot of callers already calling in You’re welcome to call it 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. You know, Christians are often told to bear fruit, some inspect other Christians and say, I’m looking for your fruit. And then they quote the verse, you shall know them by their fruit. And guess what? Usually we’re taught totally wrong in this whole doctrine about fruit. Because the fruit is not the fruit of the Spirit, because the fruit of the Spirit is the fruit of the Spirit.

And that is non-material, as the Spirit is non-material, the Spirit of God. And his fruit is non-material, and he can’t package it, he can’t touch it, he can’t throw it to somebody. It’s love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, maintenance, and long suffering and so on. And these things are the fruit of the Spirit, and that’s the Spirit’s fruit. When you heal yourself to obey the Lord as a Christian, as a believer, then the Holy Spirit produces His fruit in your life, which is those things that we just mentioned.

It’s nine different fruit there mentioned in Galatians 5, 22, and 23. But when it says you shall know them by their fruits, it’s not talking about the fruit of the Spirit and we are going to turn to Matthew 7 and take a look at this. Jesus is talking about false prophets. When he mentions this phrase in Matthew 7 he says, be aware of false creatures which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are waiving wolves. So here.

False. That’s all right. They will come in sheep’s clothing, which is the identity of a believer. And inwardly though, they are lost. They are gravening wolves. Verse 16 says, you shall know them by their fruits. Now what does that mean? What does it mean that they’re out drinking or on drugs or doing evil? Now what does that mean? What does it mean that they’re out drinking or on drugs or doing evil things or robbing banks or mugging little old ladies in the park?

It’s really saying here about their converts. The fruit of a false preacher is their converts. And you see that right here in the context of Matthew 7, 16, it says, you shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles? What does that mean? If you went looking for grapes, would you look for grapes on a thorn bush? Absolutely not. A thorn bush will not produce grapes, and would you look for figs on a thistle bush?

Wouldn’t you think that grapes would be on a grapevine and that figs would be on a fig tree? That’s the way it is, that’s the law of nature. So it says even so every good tree bring a fourth good fruit. Now what is a good tree? Well the good tree is the believer. If you are a believer you have been declared good in God’s court of law based upon the substitutionary death of Christ and he took your place at the cross, paid your sin debt and full was buried, rose again from the dead.

And as a result of his paying your sin debt and full, there’s an exchange that’s made. He became sin so that you might be made his righteousness and God calls the believer good. Yet if you’re not a believer, the Bible says there’s none good, no not one. No not one in Romans 3, 12. There’s not one person good. So those that are called good in the Bible are those that have trusted Christ and have God’s goodness or righteousness who had to do their account.

And so if you’re a believer, if you’ve trusted Christ as your only hope of heaven, you are a good tree. You have the courage to say that out loud, say it with me. I am a good tree. I am a good tree. If you’re a believer in your trusting Christ alone, there’s only hope of heaven, you can say, I am a good tree. But if you have not trusted Christ as your Savior, then you have to say, you have the courage to say it, I’m a corrupt tree.

If you don’t know the words of your Savior, then everybody that has come off of the tree of Adam is a corrupted tree because Adam had corrupted seed. He sinned and that sin has been passed on through the man to everybody in the human race and everybody that is ascended to Adam is a corrupt tree. If you become saved, you are born again by God’s interruptible seed and you become a good tree. So let’s try that again, class. If you are a believer and you can say, say it, go ahead.

I’m a good tree. I hear some of you saying it out there. If you’re not a believer, then you’re going to have to say, I’m a corrupt tree. Because you have the corrupted birth that has come from Adam down to you, but if you’ve trusted Christ, then you have the incorruptible seed of God that has brought about the new birth in you and you are a good tree. That’s right. Now it says here, the good tree, bring it forth good fruit, the corrupt tree, bring it forth evil fruit.

What is the fruit? talking about the people that you influence and if you are a believer you ought to reproduce yourself let me just give you this illustration if you were an apple tree and you were a branch in the apple tree what kind of fruit would you expect to have on your branch if you were a branch in an apple tree well you expect maybe apples wouldn’t you if you were an orange tree what kind of fruit you expect on the branches of an orange tree.

You’d expect oranges. And it’s just that simple. If you’re a Christian tree, you’re a good tree, remember we just said that. If you’re a good tree, if you’re a Christian, what kind of fruit would you expect? Well, you’d expect guess what? Maybe Christians. That’s right. When you lead someone to Christ, they also become good fruit because again, remember there’s none good. No, not one Romans 3, 12. But when you trust You become good and so when you lead someone to Christ you have produced good fruit.

But if you are unsaved, then obviously you’re not going to be leading anybody to Christ. And your fruit will be corrupt fruit because you are corrupt and you can’t bring about good fruit because you don’t have the gospel and you’re not saved. So it says you’re a good fruit, you cannot bring forth evil fruit, either can a corrupt fruit bring forth good fruit. And then it says every tree that brings not forth good fruit is shooned down and cast into the fire.

into the fire. My friend, that’s talking about hell. People that are not born again, people that are only inherently corrupt seed from Adam are corrupt trees and they will be hewn down one day and cast into the eternal like a fire. They’ll be in hell for all eternity. The Bible says again in verse 20 of Matthew 7, wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. If I want to learn about a false prophet, if I want to learn about the false prophet, teachings of an organization, all I have to do is examine their fruit.

For example, let’s say a couple of Jehovah’s Witnesses come to my door. I don’t have to travel to New York, to the headquarters of the Watchtower Society to find the organization is corrupt. All I have to do is examine that fruit that comes to my door. Knock-tock, yes, I’m Jehovah’s Witness. Well, guess what? If you quiz them, you’ll find that they don’t believe in the they don’t believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit, they don’t believe in the deity of Christ, they don’t believe in salvation by faith, in fact they don’t believe in hell, they don’t believe in much that the Bible teaches so immediately, you know, these are corrupt fruit and guess what, the tree that they came off of which is the Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower Society is a corrupt tree.

Same thing is true of the Mormons when they come to your door. They usually send them out by two and they’re standing at your door. You don’t have to travel out to Salt Lake in Utah to find out what the Mormon Church is all about. Just examine their fruit when they come to your door. Ah, look at that corrupt fruit. They deny that he uses of the Bible, salvation is by works. They don’t believe in hell and so on and so on.

All of these cults, by the way, have extra biblical revelation, which is also wrong. The Bible says you’re not to add to his finished book, the book of Revelation, says you’re not to add or to take away from it, or you’ll be cursed of God. You’ll not enter heaven. And obviously these cults have done that. So you can know the whole organization is false because all you have to do is examine that fruit. That’s the fruit. But so many people get it wrong and they say, Uncle Harry, look at the fruit of his life.

Why? He smokes. He doesn’t go to church. Blah, blah, blah, blah. They’re called Uncle Harry’s probably not saved. But Aunt Susie, why she goes to church and reads her Bible every day and she always is so nice and so kind with her words and she’s got to be a Christian. Why I have examined her fruit. No, no, no, no. You’ve totally missed it. That is not the fruit that you do examine. fruit is the convert. If you are looking for grapes, you go to a grapevine.

If you are looking for fig tree, if you are looking for the fruit of a believer, you are going to look for little believers. If you are looking for the fruit of an unbeliever, you are going to find the people they have influenced are not saved. That is the fruit. And by the fruit, you shall know them. Well, I am Dr. Englinsford. We are going to go to the phone and take your call, the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. And we’d sure like to hear from you today.

And I hope that everybody listening has trusted Jesus Christ as their only hope of heaven and are good trees. Alright, we’re going to go to Scott in St. Pete and Scott, welcome to Bibleline. And thank you for your patience and waiting so long to be on the air. Scott, you’re on the air. Yes. Can isolation period is seven years? Well, first of all, the key passage, I think, from the Old Testament is Daniel chapter 9 where it talks about the 70th week of the prophecy of 70 weeks of years.

Seventy weeks of years, 70 times 7 is 409 years that would fulfill all prophecy. And if you read that incredible prophecy there in Daniel 9, it says that 69 weeks of years or 483 years would take place from the commandment that would be given to rebuild and restore Jerusalem after Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed it. And from that time it would be four and three years till Jesus would come and die. And then there’s a gap of time. Which has now lasted 2000 years and once the church is taken out at the Rapture the last seven years the 70th week of years of Daniel will tick off the clock.

So right now in a sense since Christ died the clock stopped ticking on the count of 409 years. 69 weeks of years or 483 years have already been fulfilled by Christ’s death at the cross. The clock stopped. Now, seven more years are still to tick off the clock, but they’ll start ticking when the rapture happens and it’s seven years. In Revelation chapter 11, in Revelation chapter 12, it mentions 42 months or 1260 days. That’s exactly three and a half years.

In fact, in chapter 12, it makes 1260 days equivalent to a time and times and half of time in expression from Daniel that nobody had a clue as to what it meant. But now we know the meaning. Time is equal to one year. Times is two years. One plus two is three. And then a half of times, a half a year. Three and a half years, exactly half of the tribulation period. And that is, of course, the amount of time that the Bible says that the Antichrist will really be in charge of the Middle East and over Jerusalem.

And it says in Daniel, it would be for a time and times and half of time. Nobody knew what it meant to Revelation chapter 12 when God opened up the meaning of the book of Daniel in the wonderful book of Revelation. And now we know that that expression means three and a half years. So that’s half. And so the Bible is divided into the tribulations period is divided into two You have three and a half and three and a half, 12 and 60 days and 12 and 60 days, seven years total.

Hope that helps a little bit. Okay, well thank you very much. You’re welcome Scott and that was Scott in St. Pete. We have now Elizabeth in Orlando Florida. Elizabeth, welcome to Bibleline. We’re glad to have you on the air. Yes, my name is Elizabeth Baker and I’m talking about what about kids and a lot of people feel like what about kids and not just parents. They feel like we should get the Holy Spirit. That’s all you need. But you don’t have to be…

Well, you don’t have to be immersed in water to be saved, but every believer ought to be water baptized as a testimony that they’ve been cleansed of their sin not by water, but by the blood of Christ. I baptize people all the time by immersion. In fact, we’re planning to do some in Israel when we are there next week. And we put them under the water and they come back up and it’s a ceremonial picture of the cleansing that occurs by the blood of Christ.

Revelation 1, 5 says that we are washed of our sins and blood of Christ when we trust Him as our Savior. But absolutely I believe in water baptism and if you weren’t about water baptized and you trusted Christ, you’d still good to have Him. The dying thief was saved without water baptism but Christ asked all of us as believers to give that open testimony of our faith by being water baptized and I try to get everybody to be baptized that I lead to Christ.

Well, I was what about times. I believe in what about theism. Well, that’s wonderful. And everybody ought to be. But it doesn’t save you. If somehow you were not able, if you got saved, you were not able to get water baptized, you’d still go to heaven. But it’s a wonderful testimony. And it’s a wonderful time to remember that, wow, I stood up and I proclaimed my faith by being water baptized as Christ asked me. and it’s an act of obedience that brings about a blessing in your life for having done it but it doesn’t save you thank you lisabeth in our land of for the calling in we don’t have jonathan down in my ami for the and jonathan uh…

welcome to bible and thank you i’m here all right that’s great and glad that my name is to me in today yes Is this a path Hank? Yep, you’re on the air. Okay, I have a question for you. Go ahead. go ahead and question Christ, what do they have and is it a good answer? No, they teach works for salvation. The commandments have to be kept. I have a track here from one of them in our area and it says 22 things you must do to be same.

And water baptism is one of the key things that they try to tell you you have to do. By the way, Miami, I know you’re going to sign off now, but I wanted to say thank you for listening down there. And I hope you’ll tune us in every day and tell your friends about it. And if you can help my boy and we are listeners supported. We could use your help so we could get that four hour down there.

So call up and give a gift to Bible and buy credit card with you or call and get an envelope mail to you so you can send a gift to Bible and. Well, Jonathan, I can continue with you, but I think you’ve gone off the air down in Miami. But the Church of Christ, they’ve got some strange ideas. In fact, they say if your church is not named the Church of Christ, then it’s a false church. They really have gone a little bit too far in too many areas and they teach works and I would not have had them.

I thought that was a case with them. I think one for a little that maybe has been in line with you guys’ church. I’m sure there must be, but I really can’t tell you. I think you’re just going to have to go on the hunt. If you want, we have an article that I’ve written called, Beliefs That Matter, and it has about a summary of about 25 basic doctrines that are good for its heart to embrace. You can use that as a guide and I would go on the phone and call and say, well, what do you believe about the Word of God?

What do you believe about the Trinity? What do you believe about Christ? And what do you believe about salvation? And if you have internet, you can just download that. Go to my home page and bottom right hand corner says, says, Dr. Engman, some articles on the right bottom, and just pull up that one belief that matter and print it out. Okay, great. Good to see you. Good to see you. Good to see you. Well, you’re welcome. And thank you for calling in from Miami, Florida.

Wow, the first half has gone so quickly. We’re coming up on our break here. We’re going to take a break. Come back and do a second half hour of Bible End. And we hope that you’ll be listening on the Internet. You can get us live at BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the spinning globe. And of course, if you can help us, you could use your help right now. It would be a good time to help us out with a gift call and give a gift by credit card over the phone or call an ask for an envelope to be sent so you can mail your gift in the Bible and but God bless you in thinking advance for your prayers and for your gifts.

We’re going to take a break, we’ll come right back, we’ll do a second and a half hour and so don’t go away, stay right where you are. Don’t go away Bibleline, we’ll be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well I’m Dr. England St. Smith, it’s great to be with you and we thank you and for all of you who listen because you are obviously the ones that are a blessing to us as we interact with you and we hear from you and you all are the ones also that pray for and really also keep this program on the air by your gifts.

God bless each and every one of you and we should be thank you. Thank the Lord for all of you. If you could help us at this time, we are Mr. Support it and you could give a gift by credit card over the phone or you could call and ask for an envelope to be sent and mail your gift in. But really, you are the only means by which we are able to be on the air. We don’t have any other means of support than a little bit that we get from our resource center, but we feel that that resource center is a ministry in itself to get people into the right books and to the right materials and the right Bible and to really help you that way.

remember it’s a brand new believer not having spare money and I would save up in buy books and you know sometimes I bought books I still have them but they’re just worthless just wasted my money and a lot of books out there today are just like that but we try to make sure that everything in our in our resource center is going to be really the cream of the crop the best of of the best and will really help you as a Christian and keep you right on track with sound doctrine.

The Bible warns in the last days that the church would depart from sound doctrine and we’re there. Boy, what a mess is out there today with people teaching all kinds of things which are not difficult. And the Bible warns about how they would turn away your ears from the truth or the word of God and we’re seeing it happen every day. We’re getting ready to go to Israel, We will be broadcasting from Israel. I hope you will be listening every day.

You will kind of keep up with us and we will be still able to answer your questions. You can submit them online or call in and they will be transmitted to us. We will not be able to take your voice up on your live, but we will be able to answer your questions. Submit them and you can call them in or you can send them in by email. What you do is you go to the Spinning Globe on the home page of our website.

It’s already set up for you to type in a question and put your first name in city. We’ll get those in Israel and we’ll be answering questions over there. So I hope you will. And it could be about anything. We would certainly entertain questions about what we’re seeing and the environment, the weather, the hotels or the food that we’re eating or what do you want to ask. Anyway, we’re about ready to go back to those stations that have been on break and do the second half hour by one, so I hope you keep your radio tuned right where it is and don’t let it move.

And we’re going to do now the second half hour or so. Keep you right where it is. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline. It’s wonderful to be with you. Thanks for tuning in. Today’s Thursday. It’s our television day. We’re on tonight at 6 30 Eastern State. Standard Time nationwide on Direct TV World Harvest Television Channel 367.

That’s Channel 36799-630. Everybody on the North American continent that has Direct TV can catch us if you’re in the Caribbean. You’re in Mexico, if you’re in Canada. Anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, can watch our television program tonight at 630. Guess what? Guess what? If you have internet, you can catch our programs right there on the internet because the program that we air is also aired on the internet. And you can go back and watch a bunch of them there in archive.

Plus, you can watch our sermons and they’re available by clicking on the camera. If you click on that camera on our homepage on Sunday morning at 11, the video the audio will come up and you’ll be able to watch the service live. But during the week you can watch a years where the sermons that are sitting there in archive and I hope you will do that. It’s so good to be able to be with you. We get so many wonderful notes and letters from people that are listening into Bibleline and we just thank God for all of you and for the fact that so many are not only getting saved but people going into In the industry we have a man who’s going to change careers.

He’s through Bimaline has decided he wants the server ward. He’s going to train now and serve a ward all because of Bimaline. We hear this all the time. And we’re getting correspondence because of our internet presence around the world, from India, from East Africa, West Africa, from South Africa, from over Europe. from Australia, from India, just all over Antipor’s Canada and we’re excited about what God is doing through the Internet Ministry. And I hope we’ll take a minute. Take a look at our website, Bibleline Ministries, and we had last month.

At the beginning of our video, we read our website, there’s a video, seven minutes long, that tells you how to be saved. And guess what? 1,450-something people watch that just last month. Fourteen hundred people a month watching the seven minute plan of salvation. So far we’ve had about thirty four thousand take our am I going to heaven quiz at the beginning of our website you have to watch center and check that quiz out if you haven’t done it already and then they can write back around and pass it because they find out how to be saved.

We’re doing that’s happening at a rate of about fifty people a day are taking that am I going to heaven quiz failing it. and then finding out the right answer and getting saved. We’re excited about leading lots of people to Christ through the website, much less the radio program. And that’s truly the hand of God. And we just thank God for all of you. And by the way, we are less than supported. We are doing the max we can do.

We don’t pay any salaries. Everything that we have comes in here goes right back out in the way of trying to get this program up to the world. If Lord gave us more, we would be on more stations. We’d be out there as far as we could go. Right now, we don’t have a giant staff here. A lot of people come here and they’re shocked. They’ll see me behind the microphone with my Bible. They’ll see one or two persons answering the phones and then letting me know which line everybody’s on so I can pull up those calls and put them on the radio with me.

And then, of course, we have the church staff in the office, but otherwise we’re just a handful of people. And we don’t pay any of them salaries for the radio. This is something that we all feel so important, that we put our energy right into it and we don’t take a salary to do it. The word of God to get out, we believe the time is such that it’s urgent. Jesus is coming back. I can’t imagine him waiting too much longer to snatch us out of here.

we need people like you who feel the same way and since this urgency, the crisis coming, this world is going nuts and and what we see happening really is learning with what but the Bible predicted would happen in the last days and I think we need to do all we can do while we can do it before the Lord catches us out and then we look back and say wow I was planning to do something for the Lord. I was thinking about getting involved.

I was going to invest some more in the Lord’s work and find others too late. You know, the Bible says that it is a day when we won’t be able to work anymore because the opportunity for us to work is here and to get this gospel message out. We can be your voice, you can be the support which allows us to do it and we sure would hope that you would pray for us and if you could give a gift that would be great call in you could give it my credit card over the phone and if you would like to mail it you can call us for envelopes to be sent and we’ll be happy to send out an envelope with our address and you can mail your gift to Bible on.

You can also give on our online bookstore on the Internet if you’d like to do that. It’s a secure sign and you can do that. But God bless you. Thank you in advance. We love our audience and you all are the ones that partner with us and we feel like your family and I hope you feel like you’re, you know, a part of us as you listen each day and we’ll be talking to you from Israel. We’re excited about that.

We’ll be bringing you reports every day as we travel. You can still communicate with us by calling in or by submitting a question on the internet, on our radio page, and we’ll try to answer those from Israel for you. And we would love to have you on this trip. Now if you would like to go on the next trip and we’re going to be playing another trip, call in and give us your information so we can keep in touch with you as we develop those plans and set the date.

We want to get your input as to what time of year you’d like to go, where you’d like to go in addition to Israel. And you’ll have some input and you’ll have some impact if you start right away letting us know this is what I like to do. This is when I could go. This is the only time of year I can go, whatever it is, and get your name in here with us and we’ll try to make sure that you’re on the next trip with us.

That’d be great. We’re going to go to Lansing, Michigan. Now we have Brent and Brent is ready. Welcome to Bibleline Brent. You’re on the air. Hey, thank you, Dr. Hank. I think it was really great to hear your program. A couple of things I went to Israel a couple of years ago and did get the baptist baptized in the Jordan. It was an awesome experience. Oh, yeah. and uh… stuck in michigan freezing up here i’m i’m an orlando uh…

native but but my family’s up here so i don’t do things for a lot of right uh… but just a quick question i can’t grow up uh… well uh… southern back is not always believed in the pre-pills right it just not you know that’s my point of view but I get around some folks and I feel like they’re blessed old dealers or you know like wife beaders they want us to go through that horrible time of punishment. Are they twisting scriptures to…

What is really happening is that they don’t understand how the scriptures lay out, and that the church is the bride of Christ, and the church is a separate age called the Distensation of Grace that has been slipped in to God’s program for Israel, that God’s program for Israel is on hold, and as soon as the church age is completed and the rapture takes us out, then God will go back to finishing up with Israel. We just talked about that a moment ago with the last seven years of Daniel’s 70 weeks of years, hicking off the clock as soon as we leave that last seven years will tick off, which is the tribulation period.

And in Christ we’re going to set up his kingdom and Israel will become the head nation on the earth. But many of these churches that believe that believe that God has done with Israel and the churches replaced Israel and some of this theology is just really totally wrong and off the wall. I like 1st Thessalonians 110. It says that there we’re to wait for his son from heaven which is delivered us from the wrath to come. So if the tribulation were to be first, then wouldn’t it say we’re to wait for the blessed tribulation?

I mean the awful tribulation But instead we’re to wait for Christ returns I mean the next event on God’s program is very clearly Christ coming for us and then the tribulation and he says there He’s delivered us from that. So obviously obviously uh… uh… they’ve got it backwards Well, and they twist the assessments of war, you know, where they say Christ can’t come back until, you know, the Antichrist is revealed. well i think that backwards they do too know of course but the mixing things up because the rapture in the second coming to do it at the end so the second coming cannot happen until after the rapture rather after the tribulation period is over but the rapture triggers off the tribulation period and the enterprise will be revealed right after the rapture but then the second will occur when price will actually defeat and destroy the

Antichrist. Right. If you’re just a… Yeah, I know what you’re talking about. And all we can do is just keep pointing them back to the Scriptures and say, look, it can’t be that way because why would Christ drag His bride of Christ, the church, through the tribulation? I mean, Jesus wouldn’t be that. And doesn’t the word is actually saying, keeps the… From? Absolutely, in Revelation 3.10. Now that we are kept from that hour of… trial that will be over the whole earth.

We’re going to be delivered from that. Sure. Revelation 3 10 is very good. Alright. We’re right on top of this. You’re right there. Thank you. And I’ll be going with you. Maybe the next time. That’d be great, Brad, if you could be on the next trip. Well, you take care of them. I’ll try to stay warm. I will. And you have a great trip Alright. Thanks so much. Grent up there freezing in Lansing, Michigan, the capital of Michigan. We’re glad to be on the air every day up there also in Flint and Saginaw, Michigan on broadcast.

We now have Linda and she’s in the need in Florida. Linda, welcome to Bibleline your own air. Hi. Good morning. How are you? I’m a visit part of your program. Thank you so much. Yesterday I listened to the Christian program as much as I can during the day, 5.70 AM. And I was listening to drive time and he was talking about the price of the phone, and OPEC, and then went on to say about the gambling that is going on in the seminal gambling and now setting up in different, what are they, the slot machines into inconspicuous little places and strip malls next to bingo places.

Is there anything as Christians, as concerned citizens, and just how this is all part of the bigger picture for abuse and setting up? Is there anything that we can do to make a stand and take a stand? Well, you know, Christians have been standing up and fighting for a long time, but the evil is just overcoming us. And the Bible says that in the last days they would be evil days. how evil men would grow worse and worse. Read 2 Timothy chapter 3 and it lists about two dozen things that we see in the headlines every day today and the Bible says that’s the way it’s going to be.

And it says evil men, verse 13, will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. And my goodness, the politics of getting this gambling in is all a big deception. They just kind of, they can’t inch their way in. And look at how they stuck in the Indian reservations and a different set of rules than the state government has. And now even our governor seemingly being behind all this. It’s just inching their way in and pretty soon, once we christians are raptured out, it’s going to really be bad.

And I’m glad I’m leaving before it really, really gets bad after the rapture. Amen. Okay. So that part of the government, that’s part of society. It’s frustrating, you know, and I hate there’s so many things I love about this country that I see going down the tube and it just breaks my heart. But the wonderful thing for us as a Christian is we know we’re citizens of heaven and this world is not our home. We’re passing through and we need to do the best job we can while we’re here to speak up and take our stand.

But we’re leaving. We’re out of here. Our home is in heaven. That’s where we live forever. And in the meantime, we ought to do as much, at least in a negative way, say, damage, but I mean good damage for Christ by wrecking the plans of those that are evil by trying to say, this is wrong, and we ought not to do it. Which leads me to the next question. The ministers in the church are preaching a false doctrine if they don’t preach basic of poor gospel.

Anything aside from that would be for this gospel. Absolutely right. All the Apostles talk the same gospel. Paul says in Being a Cursed and we call it a curse then it becomes a curse message and says let it be a curse What about the curse of God? So long time standing members of a church where this minister has been invited in to be the now acting preacher. If he was preaching the false gospel, is it the duty of the members?

Well, I see that you have to leave, you know what I mean? I don’t see how you can sit under the bad message, but if his message is wrong then you either have to say that he needs to go or if the church recognizes that it’s false, sure. That’s true. Sometimes they will bring a ministry in and they don’t really find that way. Believe in God I pray he’s there and then that really becomes a problem and really if the church is wrong.

He’s a church has established doctrines and he’s preaching contrary to them and he ought to go, but otherwise you might have to look for a new church. So we have to be as wise as and as cunning as is the Bible says to ask for wisdom and give it to us. And be alert to the Satan subtleties because he likes to bring it in through the pulpit if he can. and they’re unsafe ministers that go into ministry and they pass their churches and they don’t even know the word and that’s scary, scary.

Well, Linda, thank you for calling. I sure appreciate that call and I hope you have a wonderful day and we’ll move on now to Harold and Sarah Sonoflorda and Harold, welcome to Bibleline Your Honor. Hey, Dr. Chase, how are you doing? Good. Hey, great. You know what’s up? And the gospel Jesus was teaching that it’s easier for a camel to get through the eye of the needle before rich men came to heaven. Now do you believe that Jesus was talking about, you know, by Christmas if the maintenance does not have God, it’s yet it’s rich.

It’s hard for him to find salvation or find the Lord, or is it, is there, I guess, someone able to have riches after they find Jesus, we still be prosperous and still find heaven. Well, absolutely. What happens though, in the case of a person who has riches, that they feel like they don’t have any need. They feel like everything is okay, and that they don’t need God or they don’t need a man. They are independent. Money seems to give them a sense of independence of even God, and that’s the danger.

But absolutely rich men can come know the Lord and it talks in the Bible about riches, then don’t let that make them be high-minded and think that they’re above other people or better than other people because they have more money because we’re all sinners saved by grace and that they ought to use their riches wisely. But no, it doesn’t affect whether you’re saving it or not. Usually people in that realm don’t see their need of God. Well, okay. Well, okay, the Jesus was like, what do I have to do?

The Jesus was like, you know, drop everything that you do and give all your riches away and follow me. Do you think that is a picture of Moses when Moses had the riches of Jesus, left it all behind and followed God to be a servant of God? Well, obviously Moses gave up what he could have had in the way of earthly riches because he wanted the riches he’d have in heaven. He tells us that he esteemed the reproach of Christ, greater riches and the treasures that were available to him in Egypt.

So he had the bigger picture. But the rich man was told two things. There Christ said, I think it’s in about verse 22 or so, he says, come. And that’s how you become saved. You simply come to Christ. And then he said to follow me, which means that was where he told him about how he’d have treasured heaven. He sold everything and followed Christ as a disciple. But the two things go on there are salvation which is free. He simply comes to Christ and then follows Christ which means that you forsake everything else to really live your life for Him and that will bring about great reward in heaven.

Wow, you think that would be comfortable. Well, he got a victim of marrying too many wives and they all corrupted him. So he had 700 wives. Can you imagine? I just can’t even imagine. But anyway, Solomon got sidetracked by his wives and they were from foreign countries and introduced their foreign gods and God got real angry because he departed from the war and that was the bad part. Thank you so much for calling in held and that was Harold down in Sarasota.

And I’m going to go to James and Sanford, Florida, and James, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the end. How are you doing? Good. Can you please explain to the people the factor of what you call it? If a pastor or anybody who’s baptizing you would just say, I’m talking about baptizing you and water was to say, I’m… To say, I baptize you in the name of Jesus and then I baptize you that if you’re not. That is still not being baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Oh, of course, water baptism is not the same thing. The one that saves occurs at the moment of belief. It says in 1 Corinthians 12, 13, by one Spirit are we all, A-L-L, baptized into one body. So the Holy Spirit takes you as a believer at the moment of belief and places you into the body of Christ. That’s the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that’s the one that saves. Water baptism is simply ceremonial and is not a a picture of the cleansing that occurs when you trust Christ.

For cleansed by the blood of Christ, the emeritus got it right when he said, what can wash away my sin? And he didn’t say water. He said nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. And that’s the only way we can become saved. So when you trust Christ, your bad ties with only spirit. Water baptism follows as a testimonial. So it doesn’t matter what they though. That’s right doesn’t mean so when you bad ties when you bad ties What do you say I say my name of the father of the son of the Holy Spirit?

I got dig and you get that out of 1928 all right Thank you James and Sanford for that was James and It Water doesn’t save We’re going to call and Tampa, Florida, call. Welcome to Bob Liner on here. Yeah. Yeah, I need to ask you a question and maybe I’ll hang up and I’ll list the answer. And this Bible, it talks about how to go about picking up the answer. Call your home too quick because I missed that last part.

Your phone broke up as you were hanging up. And I didn’t hear that in part of the question. My brother, he’s in his head too. We didn’t hear it. Call, you have to call back. I just missed that last sentence. Anyway, we are going to go to Israel. We’ll be in Israel next week. We’ll be broadcasting from over there. So listen in. We won’t begin the first program you’ll hear from Israel beyond Wednesday because of that. We have to get over there and and get settled in.

But we hope that you’ll be listening and we’ll try to keep you updated. You can still send questions in or call them in and we’ll try to answer those questions from Israel. We’ll be broadcasting from Israel, which ought to be a lot of fun. We did that in marks of this past year and we’ll be doing that again. If you want to go on the next trip, I would call in and leave your name so we can begin again a dialogue with you and tell us when you want to go, where you want to go, what you’re interested are because you could influence this before we set it concrete.

But we haven’t set the date, we haven’t set where we’re going to go, except we are going to Israel. But we’d love to have you on the trip. I don’t have a lot of people that say, hey, I want to go. Well, let’s go. please call in and leave your name and the information will be contacting you and staying in touch with you as we plan out the trip. All right, we’ll call his back and let’s go ahead and find out what he said.

You just hung up a little bit too soon for us, Carl. We’re going to go to call and find out what the question was. Go ahead, do it again. I’m sorry, but then my phone cut off. It was waking up and we just lost the last words. Okay. My question is, and about what we’re talking about, how they picked an elder or a deacon will get someone represented in the church. Usually it says the husband of one. What does that mean exactly?

Because I think I was told that back then there were men that married to more than one and another was polygamy. And so is it talking about the husband of one wife? What does it mean? that the other day before he was saved and he got saved is he no longer than Able to serve and I kept in that capacity one. I believe it means one-wife period and I think the reason why is because it’s a role model for the people in the church if they People in the church say well the pastor’s been divorced and I guess it’s okay for him Then it’s okay for me, and I think God didn’t want that so So men who are divorced can serve and we have been serving in many capacities in our church, but we don’t let them be elders or deacons.

In the pastor, I don’t believe, should be divorced. So some people say, well, he’s only married to one right now. What they’re trying to say is one at a time. So you get divorced and you get remarried and you get divorced and you get remarried. But it’s only one wife at the time. I don’t think that’s what it’s saying either. I think it’s saying one wife, period. So that doesn’t disqualify you from being used of God. Certainly many of the worst people can be used in a great way to minister to the things of God.

But it’s… . . . . . . . . . I think as far as the older deacon position, that’s it. Thank you so much for that call. I hope it helped. And we’re going to have to say goodbye for today in just a minute. Again, we are listening to support it. We would like to have you pray for us. And if you could, give to help mind one stay on the air and be able to continue to do what we’re doing.

You could give a gift by credit card over the phone, if you like. You’d call right now. And our partners are there available to take that call. And you could tell them, I’d like to give a gift by when you tell me what you tell me. you tell them how much and they’ll be able to facilitate that. If you want an envelope to be sent, they’ll send you an envelope and you can mail that gift in. If you want to go online, you can go to our website, Bibleline Ministries, and give a gift on the online secure site on our online bookstore.

We are going to be on TV at 963 on Channel 367 on DirectTV, World Harvest Television. Hope you’ll watch that. We’ll be back tomorrow, Lord Bullying. And until then, keep looking up. Jesus is coming. Thanks again for tuning in. Tell your friends about the program, would you? And if you have missionaries overseas or family overseas, would you tell them about Bimaline? We know we have missionaries in Korea and Africa and Japan that are listening, that find us on the internet and we have a friend who is a missionary to Japan, he’s heading back and he’s got lots of folks over there that are finding Bible and a real help to them as they can catch it anywhere in the world.

That’s right. We were in Africa, probably we were in Israel last year and we met some wonderful people from Nigeria and one of them and we met said this is the Bible and all the time in Nigeria on the internet. Absolutely blew me away. That was wonderful to hear and we met others also that were listening to Bible and from other countries and it’s just amazing to me. And we of course are thanking God for that opportunity and really it’s because of you, your prayers and your gifts that make it possible for us to do what we’re doing.

We really, as far as our budgets concern, get the next for the money because we don’t be any salaries. That’s a big overhead that’s gone for the whole picture and do more. And we’re not a big operation, we’re a small operation and we really need your help. We really do. And your gifts are really a blessing. Every dollar is going to really be used to the max to try to reach people for Christ. And we’re finding the people are getting saved are going into ministry.

Lives are being changed through the scriptures as we obviously We focus on the Bible as we call our program, Bibleline. That’s the intent from the very get-go is to answer your questions and get you into the Bible and challenge you from the Word of God. Play for us. Call us if you will and give us a call about giving a gift to the Bibleline or getting our own blue for learning how to give or help or how we can help you.
