Good morning and welcome to Bibleline. Great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning in. We look forward to being with you each and every day. We’re here every day Monday through Friday and in Tampa Bay Area we’re on seven dayseful week as we play the best off and we hope that you’ll be catching those programs, telling your friends about them and we’re streaming right now to the internet where you can catch this program not only now live but also throughout the day and the night and over the next probably couple of years we have two years of program sitting there waiting for you to listen to and download.

We have a church member here who has downloaded 271 hours of Bible and into his Blackberry phone. Amazing. technology today that allows for all of this. It’s sure good to be with you. I hope you’re having a great day. It’s Thursday. And this is our television day. We’ll be on tonight at 630 Eastern Standard Time on Direct TV nationwide. Anybody on the North American continent that has Direct TV can catch us. That means anywhere in the Caribbean and Mexico and Canada and of course all of the U.S.

of A including Alaska can catch our program at night on Channel 367. That is World Harvest Television, Direct TV, Channel 367. Tune that in tonight. Of course, we would love to have you telling your friends about Bible and around the world. If you have friends in other countries or missionaries in other countries, they can catch our program anywhere in the world and we are getting correspondence from everywhere. I’m telling you from Europe and from Africa and from Asia. And we’re just amazed, including Australia.

And we’re excited about what God is doing through Bible and 154 countries have logged on. The latest one is Burma. And that’s Buddhist country. We’re hoping that Buddhists and Hindus and people of all faiths of Islam would come to know Jesus as their Savior. And you too, if you’re listening today and you’re not sure about where you spend eternity, we hope that you would trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your only hope of heaven and receive is free gift to everlasting life which is offered free to all those that would simply trust Christ as our Savior.

We just finished teaching 1 Peter and those 10 hours of teaching are now available on CD and DVD. We hope you’ll take advantage of your good call or 800 number and order that series. And a lot of people are doing that and enjoying. It turned out to be a wonderful set. We also have just completed the Gospel of John 20 Hours of Teaching on CD and DVD. If you’d like to get that wonderful sent, it’s available. Plus about 40 others.

We have the Book of Revelation. That’s really a popular one. The Book of Daniel, we have the Book of Romans. We have the Book of Hebrews, which is considered a difficult book. If you go out there in the book mark and look for books and commentaries on Hebrews, there are very few. the ones who write them are their thin little books because apparently they don’t want to comment very much on Hebrews because they can’t figure it out. We believe EVENT we have dealt with all the difficult problems in Hebrews and make them plain for you and you might want to get that Hebrew set.

It’s really a good one. Plus we have those commentary sets that I like so much and we have two. One is the Jameson Foset Brown which I love so much, covers something on every verse in the Bible that three volumes set sells for about 140-50. We have it for a hundred and it is marvelous. Then we have the Jameson rather the J. Vernon McGee five volumes set which is a wonderful set, beautifully bound, five volumes and it takes you through the whole Bible and J.

Vernon McGee does such a wonderful job in giving you the right direction in each chapter. It doesn’t cover every verse but he does cover every chapter, he gets you going the right direction. And if you have the two commentaries, you really have it made. The Vernon McGee sells for about 200 everywhere, and we have that also for a gift of 100. So that’s a nice, nice addition to your library. Plus we have lots of things that are costing less.

We have a lot of books by The White Pentecost, an excellent author. We have his book on Hebrews, Philippians. We have his book on First John, which is a wonderful book on fellowship. We have his book Things That Become Sound Doctrine, which really I like that one. It has a great chapter on repentance and nails it. That it’s not 30 from sin. It’s not sorrow for sin. It’s a change of bind. And when you understand that, boy, just clarify so many things because Satan has taken advantage of the mistranslation of the Greek word metanoia into the English word repent, which does not mean the same thing and causes grief ever since.

The Greek word really means to change your mind and when you repent you change your mind about whatever you’re trusting in to be saved. You change your mind about who Christ is if you don’t recognize Him as God who took on him and flesh and you change your mind about whatever you may have been trusting in to now trusting Jesus alone as your only hope of heaven. That’s a great book by Dwight Pentecost. We have so many. You can order a resource sheet.

Just call in and we’ll send that out to you for your charge. You can also go online and actually see all of our resources at our Resource Center by clicking on the online bookstore once you get to our website, Bible and ministries, BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the homepage on the online bookstore and you’ll get our resource center. Click on the spinning globe and you’ll get our radio page and our radio programs. If you click on the TV set you’ll get our TV programs.

If you click on the camera you’ll get our worship services. We’ve been excited about webcasting our worship services live. If you go there at 11 o’clock Sunday morning and click on the camera on the home page you’ll get our worship service live. And we have people watching from Australia, from Europe, from Canada, from all over. We’re absolutely amazed to hear from these people that are watching our worship services in other countries. It truly is the worldwide web. And you can watch it.

And we have been in mind our church members, if they get sick and they can attend church, They say, boy, how wonderful there is to be tuning in at home. And although it’s not as good as being actually in the service, it’s second best they tell me. Somebody was just telling me that last night they were sick the last weekend and they watched our worship service on the internet and then that night. So go to BibleLineMinistries.org, click on the spinning globe for radio, click on the TV set for television, click on the camera for the worship services and there’s a whole year sitting there waiting for you to look at and we hope that you’ll take advantage of these things.

Give your Bible, get it out, then we’ll go to our phone callers. We have a lot of callers already calling in. You’re welcome to call it 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. You know Christians are often and told to bear fruit from the inspect of their Christians and say, I’m looking for your fruit. And then they quote the verse, you shall know them by their fruit. And guess what? Usually we’re taught totally wrong in this whole doctrine about fruit. Because the induc is not the fruit of the spirit, because the fruit of the spirit is the fruit of the spirit.

And that is non-material. As the Spirit is non-material, the Spirit of God, and His fruit is non-material, and you can’t package it, you can’t touch it, you can’t throw it to somebody. It’s love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, maintenance, temperance, long suffering, and so on. And these things are the fruit of the Spirit, and that’s the Spirit’s fruit. When you yield yourself to obey the Lord as a Christian, as a believer, then the Holy Spirit produces his fruit in your life, which is those things that we just mentioned.

It’s nine different fruit there mentioned in Galatians 5, 22, and 23. But when it says you shall know them by their fruits, it’s not talking about the fruit of the Spirit. And we’re going to turn to Matthew 7 and take a look at this. Jesus is talking about false prophets. When He mentions this phrase in Matthew chapter 7. He says, Beware of false preachers, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are waiving wolves. So here falls…

Preachers look like the genuine thing. They’ll look like a minister of Christ and they will come in sheep’s clothing, which is the identity of the believer. And inwardly though they are lost, they are ravening wolves. Verse 16 says, you shall know them by their fruits. Now what does that mean? What does it mean that they’re out drinking or on drugs or doing evil things? things, or robbing banks, or mugging little old ladies in the park. It’s really saying here about their converts.

The fruit of a false preacher is their converts. And you see that right here in the context in Matthew chapter 7 and verse 16, it says, you shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of fissils? What does that mean? If If you went looking for grapes, would you look for grapes on a thorn bush? Absolutely not. A thorn bush will not produce grapes, and would you look for figs on a thistle bush?

Wouldn’t you think that grapes would be on a grapevine and that figs would be on a fig tree? Oh, that’s the way it is, that’s the love nature. So it says even so, every good tree, bring a fourth good fruit. Now what is a good tree? Well, the good tree is the believer. If you are a believer, you have been declared good in God’s court of law based upon the substitute shared death of Christ. If you took your place across, paid your sin debt and full was buried rose again from the dead.

And as a result of his paying your sin debt and full, there’s an exchange it’s made. And he became sin so that you might be made his righteousness and God calls the believer good. Yet, if you’re not a believer, the Bible says there’s none good, no not one. No not one in Romans 3, 12. There’s not one person good. So those that are called good in the Bible are those that have trusted Christ and have God’s goodness or righteousness credited their account.

And so if you’re a believer, if you’ve trusted Christ as your only hope of heaven, you are a good tree. You have the courage to say that out loud. it with me. I am a good tree. I am a good tree. If you’re a believer in your trust in Christ alone, as you’re only hope of heaven, you can say, I am a good tree. But if you have not trusted Christ as your Savior, then you have to say, you have the courage to say it, I’m a corrupt tree.

If you don’t know the Lord’s your Savior, then everybody that has come off of the tree of Adam is a corrupted tree because Adam had corrupted seed. He sinned and that sin has been passed on through the man to everybody in the human race and everybody that is a descendant of Adam is a corrupt tree. If you become saved, you are born again by God’s incorruptible seed and you become a good tree. So let’s try that again class. If you are a believer, and you can say, say it, go ahead, I am a good tree.

I hear some of you saying it out there. If you are not a believer, then you are going to have to say, I am a corrupt tree. Because you have the corrupted birth that has come from Adam down to you, but if you have trusted Christ, then you have the incorruptible seed of God that has brought about the new birth in you and you are a good tree. That’s right. It says here the good tree bring forth good fruit, the corrupt tree bring forth evil fruit.

What is the fruit? It’s talking about the people that you influence and if you are a believer you want to reproduce yourself, let me just give you this illustration. If you were an apple tree and you were a branch in the apple tree, what kind of fruit would you expect to have on your branch if you were a branch in an apple tree? you expect baby apples, wouldn’t you? If you were an orange tree, what kind of fruit would you expect on the branches of an orange tree?

You’d expect oranges. And it’s just that simple. If you’re a Christian tree, you’re a good tree, remember? We just said that. If you are a good tree, if you’re a Christian, what kind of fruit would you expect? Well, you’d expect, guess what? Baby Christians, that’s right. When you lead someone to Christ, They also become good fruit because again, remember there’s none good. No, not one Romans 3, 12. But when you trust Christ, you become good. And so when you lead someone to Christ, you have produced good fruit.

But if you are unsaved, then obviously you’re not going to be leading anybody to Christ. And your fruit will be corrupt fruit because you are corrupt and you can’t bring about good fruit because you don’t have the gospel and you’re not saved. So it says here, good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. And then it says every tree that bringseth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.

My friend, that’s talking about hell. People that are not born again, people that are only inherit the corrupt seed from Adam are corrupt trees, and they will be hewn down one day. one day and cast into the eternal like a fire, there will be in hell for all eternity. The Bible says again in verse 20 of Matthew 7, wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. If I want to learn about a false prophet, if I want to learn about the false teachings of an organization, all I have to do is examine their fruit.

For example, let’s say a couple of Jehovah’s Witnesses come to my door. I don’t have to travel to New York, to the headquarters of the Watchtower Society to find the organization is corrupt. All I have to do is examine that fruit that comes to my door. Knock-tock, guess. I’m Joe’s witness. Well, guess what? If you quiz them, you’ll find that they don’t believe in the Trinity. They don’t believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit. They don’t believe in the deity of Christ.

They don’t believe in salvation by faith. In fact, they don’t believe in hell. They don’t believe in much that the Bible teaches so immediately. These are corrupt fruit. And guess what? The tree that they came off of, which is the Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower Society, is a corrupt tree. Same thing is true of the Mormons when they come to your door. They use this in them out by two and they’re standing at your door. You don’t have to travel out to Salt Lake in Utah to find out what the Mormon Church is all about.

examine their fruit when they come to your door. Ah, look at that corrupt fruit. They deny that Jesus of the Bible, salvation is by works. They don’t believe in hell and so on and so on. All of these cults, by the way, have extra biblical revelation, which is also wrong. The Bible says you’re not to add to his finished book, the book of Revelation says you’re not to add or to take away from it, or you’ll be cursed of God.

You’ll not enter heaven and obviously these cults have done that so you can know the whole organization is false because all you have to do is examine that fruit. That’s the fruit but so many people get it wrong and they say Uncle Harry look at the fruit of his life why he you know smokes he doesn’t go to church blah blah blah blah therefore Uncle Harry is probably not saved but Aunt Sizzie why she goes to church reads her Bible every day and she always is so nice and so kind with her words and she’s got to be a Christian.

Why I have examined her fruit. No, no, no, no. You’ve totally missed it. That is not the fruit that you do examine. The fruit is the convert. If you are looking for grapes, you go to a grape mine. If you’re looking for fig tree, if you’re looking for the fruit of a believer, you’re going to look for little believers. If you are looking for the fruit of an unbeliever, you’re going to find the people they’ve influenced are not saved and that’s the fruit.

And by their fruit you shall know them. Well, I’m Dr. Englundschner, we’re going to go to the phone lines and take your call. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771 and we’d sure like to hear from you today. And I hope that everybody listening has trusted Jesus Christ as their only hope of heaven and are good trees. Alright, Alright, we’re going to go to Scott and Saint Pete and Scott welcome to Bibleline thank you for your patience and waiting so long to be on the air.

Scott, you’re on the air. Yes, yes. Hi, thanks, take my call. My question is where in the Bible can I go to improve that the tribulation period is seven years? Well, first of all, the key passage I think from the Old Testament is Daniel chapter 9 where it talks about the 70th week of the prophecy of 70 weeks of years. 70 weeks of your 70 times 7 is 490 years that would fulfill all prophecy and if you read that part of incredible prophecy there Daniel 9 it says that 69 weeks of years or 483 years would take place from the commandment that would be given to rebuild and restore Jerusalem after Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed it and from that time it would be 493 years till Jesus would come and die.

And then there’s a gap of time, which has now lasted 2,000 years. And once the church is taken out at the rapture, the last seven years, the 70th week of years of Daniel will tick off the clock. So right now in a sense, since Christ died, the clock stopped ticking on the count of 409 years. 69 weeks of years or 483 years have already been fulfilled. By Christ’s death at the cross, the clock stopped. Now, seven more years are still to tick off the clock, but they’ll start ticking when the rapture happens and it’s seven years.

In Revelation chapter 11, in Revelation chapter 12, it mentions 42 months or 1260 days. That’s exactly three and a half years. In fact, in chapter 12, it makes 1260 days equivalent to a time and times and half of time. in expression from Daniel that nobody had a clue as to what it meant, but now we know the meaning. Time is equal to one year, times is two years, one plus two is three, and then a half a time is a half a year, three and a half years exactly, half of the tribulation period.

And that is of course the amount of time that the Bible says that the Antichrist will really be in charge of the Middle East and over Jerusalem. And it says in Daniel Euvi for a time and times and a half a time, nobody knew what a mental revelation, chapter Well, when God opened up the meaning of the book of Daniel in the wonderful book of Revelation, and now we know that that expression means three and a half years. So that’s half.

And so the Bible is divided into the tribulations period is divided into two halves, three and a half and three and a half, twelve hundred and sixty days and twelve hundred and sixty days, seven years total. Hope that helps a little bit. Okay, well, thank you very much. You’re welcome, Scott. that with Scott in St. Pete, we have now Elizabeth in Orlando Florida. Elizabeth, welcome to Bible, and we’re glad to have you on here. Yes, my name is Elizabeth Baker, and I’m talking about water baptism.

Okay. A lot of people feel like water baptism is not necessary. They feel like we should get the Holy Spirit. That’s all you need, but you don’t have to be immersed in the water. Well, you don’t have to be immersed in water to be saved, but every believer ought to be water baptized as a testimony that they’ve have been cleansed of their sin not by water but by the blood of Christ. I baptize people all the time by immersion.

In fact, we’re planning to do some in Israel when we are there next week. We put them under the water and they come back up and it’s a ceremonial picture of the cleansing that occurs by the blood of Christ. Revelation 1 and 5 says that we are washed of our sins in the blood of Christ when we trust Him as our Savior. But absolutely, I believe in water baptism. If you weren’t about water baptized and you trusted Christ, you’d still get a heaven.

The dying thief was saved without water baptism, but Christ asked all of us as believers to give that open testimony of our faith by being water baptized. I try to get everybody to be baptized that I lead to Christ. Well, I was water baptized. I believe in water baptism. Well, that’s wonderful. And everybody ought to be. But it doesn’t save you. If somehow you were not able, if you got saved and were not able to get water baptized, you’d still get a heaven.

But it’s a wonderful testimony and it’s a wonderful time to remember that while I stood up and I proclaim my faith by being water baptized as Christ asked me and it’s an act of obedience that brings about a blessing in your life for having done it, but it doesn’t save you. Okay. Thank you, Elizabeth, in Orlando, Florida, calling in. now have Jonathan down in Miami Florida and Jonathan welcome to Bob Wayne. Thank you. I’m here. All right. That’s great.

My name is Tuni and today. Yes. Thank you. You’re on there. Okay. I have a question for you. Go ahead. The question is the Church of Christ. What type of doctrine do they have and is it a good? There is no they teach works for salvation, the commandments have to be kept. I have a track here from one of them in our area and it says 22 things you must do to be saved and water baptism is one of the key things that they try to tell you you have to do.

By the way, Miami, I know you’re going to sign off now but I wanted to say thank you for listening down there and I hope you’ll tune us in every day and tell your friends about it and if you can help Bible and we are listeners support it and we can use your help so we can get that full hour down there. So call up and give a gift to Bible and by credit card, would you or call in and get an envelope mailed to you so you can send a gift to Bible and?

Well Jonathan I can continue with you but I think you’ve gone out the air down in Miami. But the Church of Christ they’ve got some strange ideas. In fact they say if your church is not named the Church of Christ then it’s a false church. So they really have gone a little bit too far in too many areas and they teach works and I would not attack them. Okay, I thought I think going for a little down here so if you, is there any turf that you suggest that maybe you’ve been in line with you guys church?

I’m sure there must be, but I really can’t tell you. I think you’re just going to have to go on the hunt. If you want, we have an article that I’ve written called, Beliefs That Matter, and it has about a summary of about 25 basic doctrines that a good church ought to embrace. You can use that as a guide. And I would get on the phone and call and say, well, what do you believe about the Word of God?

What do you believe about the Trinity? What do you believe about Christ? And what do you believe about salvation? And if you have internet, you can just download it. of that good at my home page and bottom right in court says Dr. Englund’s from Zorticles on the right bottom and I just pull up that one belief that matter and print it out. Okay great. That was a good one. Well you’re welcome and thank you for calling in from Miami Florida.

Wow the first half has gone so quickly we’re coming up on our break here we’re gonna take a break come back and do a second half hour of Bibleline and we hope that you’ll be listening on the internet you can get us live at Bible www.BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the spinning globe. And of course, if you can help us, you could use your help right now. It would be a good time to help us out with a gift. Call and give a gift by credit card over the phone or call and ask for an envelope to be sent so you can mail your gift into Bible.

But God bless you in thanking advance for your prayers and for your gifts. We’re gonna take a break. We’ll come right back. We’ll do a second and a half hour. And so don’t go away. Stay right where you are. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund. It’s great to be with you. And we thank God for all of you who listen, because you are obviously the ones that are a blessing to us as we interact with you, and we hear from you.

And you all are the ones also that pay for it, and really also keep this program on the air by your gifts. God bless each and every one of you. And we sure do thank you. Thank the Lord for all of you. If you could help us at this time, we are less than supported. And you could give a gift by credit card over the phone or you could call and ask for an envelope to be sent and mail your gift in.

But really, you are the only means by which we are able to be on the air. We don’t have any other means of support than a little bit that we get from our resource center, but we feel that that resource center is a ministry in itself. to get people into the right books into the right materials in the right Bible and to really help you that way. I remember as a brand new believer not having spare money and I would save up in buy books and you know sometimes I bought books.

I still have them but they’re just worthless. Just wasted my money and a lot of books out there today are just like that but we try to make sure that everything in our resource center is going to be really the cream of the the best of the best and will really help you as a Christian and keep you right on track with sound doctrine. The Bible warns in the last days that the church would be part from sound doctrine and we’re there.

Boy, what a mess is out there today with people teaching all kinds of things which are not biblical. And the Bible warns about how they would turn away their ears from the truth or the would have gotten and we’re seeing it happen every day. We’re getting ready to go to Israel. We’re going to be broadcasting from Israel. So hope you’ll be listening every day and you’ll kind of keep up with us and we’ll be still able to answer your questions.

You can submit them online or call in and they’ll be transmitted to us and we won’t be able to take your voice up on the air live, but we will be able to answer your questions. So submit them and you can call them in or you can send them in by email. What you do is you go to the Spinning Globe on the homepage of our website. It’s already set up for you to type in a question and put your first name in the city.

And we’ll get those in Israel and we’ll be answering questions over there. So I hope you will. And it could be about anything. We would certainly entertain questions about what we’re seeing and the environment, the weather, the hotels or the food that we’re eating or what are you going to ask. Anyway, we’re about ready to go back to those stations that have been on break and do the second half hour, Bob Lenz. So I hope you keep your radio tuned right where it is and don’t let it move.

And we’re going to do now the second half hour. So keep your radio right where it is. When you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question, you can. Pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and it’s wonderful to be with you. Thanks for tuning in. Today’s Thursday. It’s our television day. We’re on tonight at 630 Eastern Standard Time, nationwide on Direct TV, World Harvest Television Channel 367.

That’s channel 367 tonight at 630. Everybody on the North American continent that has Direct TV can catch us if you’re in the Caribbean. You’re in Mexico. If you’re in Canada. Anywhere in the United States. Including In Alaska, can watch our television program tonight at 6.30. Guess what? If you have internet, you can catch our programs right there on the internet because the program that we air is also aired on the internet. You can go back and watch a bunch of them there in archive.

Plus, you can watch our sermons and they’re available by clicking on the camera. If you click on that camera on our homepage on Sunday morning at 11, the video, the audio will come up and you’ll be able to watch the service live. But during the week you can watch a years when the sermons that are sitting there in archive and I hope you will do that. It’s so good to be able to be with you. We get so many wonderful notes and letters from people that are listing in the Bible line and we just thank God for all of you and for the fact that so many are not only getting saved, but people going into ministry, we have a man who’s going to change careers.

He’s through Bible and has decided he wants to serve a Lord. He’s going to train now and serve a Lord all because of Bible and we hear this all the time. And we’re getting correspondence because of our internet presence around the world from India from East Africa, West Africa, from South Africa, from all over Europe, from Australia, from India, just all over Antiporced Canada. We’re excited about what God is doing through the internet ministry. And I hope we’ll take a minute.

Take a look at our website, Bibleline Ministries, and we had last month. At the beginning of our video, I read our website there, there’s a video, seven minutes long that tells you how to be saved. And guess what? 1,450-something people watched that just last month. 1,400 people a month watching the seven-minute plan of salvation. So far we’ve had about 34,000 take our, am I going to have an quiz at the beginning of our website? You have to watch that and check that quiz out if you haven’t done it already.

And then they can write back around and pass it because they find out how to be saved. We’re doing, that’s happening at a rate of about 50 people a day, or taking that in by going to heaven quiz, failing it, and then finding out the right answer and getting saved. We’re excited about leading lots of people to Christ through the website, much less the radio program. And that’s truly the hand of God. And we just thank God for all of you.

And by the way, we are listed as a port. We are doing the max we can do. We don’t pay any salaries. Everything that we have comes in here goes right back out in the way of trying to get this program out to the world. If the Lord gave us more, we would be on more stations. We’d be out there as far as we could go. Right now, we don’t have a giant staff here. A lot of people come here and they’re shocked.

They’ll see me behind the microphone with my Bible. They’ll see one or two persons answering the phones and then letting me know which line everybody’s on so I can pull up those calls and put them on the radio with me. And then of course we have the church staff in the office. But otherwise we’re just a handful of people and we don’t pay any of them salaries for the radio. This is something that we all feel so important that we put our energy right into it and we don’t take a salary to do it.

We want the Word of God to get out. We believe the time is such that it’s urgent. Jesus is coming back. I can’t imagine him waiting too much longer to snatch us out of here. We need people like you who feel the same way. And since this urgency, the crisis coming, this world is going nuts. What we see happening really is lining with what the Bible predicted would happen in the last days. And I think we need to do all we can do while we can do it before the Lord catches us out, and then we look back and say, wow, I was planning to do something for the Lord.

I was thinking about getting involved. I was going to invest some more in the Lord’s work and find out it’s too late. The Bible says it’s a day when we won’t be able to work anymore because the opportunity First of all, the first to work is here. We can be your voice, you can be the support which allows us to do it and we sure would hope that you would pray for us. And if you could give a gift, that would be great.

Call in. You could give it by credit card over the phone. And if you would like to mail it, you can call us for envelopes to be sent and we’ll be happy to send out an envelope with our address and you can mail your gift to Bibleline. You can also give on our online bookstore on the Internet if you like to do that. It’s a super important gift. We’ll also give on our online bookstore on the internet. If you like to do that, it’s a secure sign and you can do that.

But God bless you. Thank you to advance. We love our audience and you all are the ones that partner with us and we feel like your family. And I hope you feel like you’re a part of us as you listen each day and we’ll be talking to you from Israel. We’re excited about that. We’ll be bringing you reports every day as we travel. We can still communicate with us by calling in or by submitting a question on the internet, on our radio page, and we’ll try to answer those from Israel for you.

We would love to have you on this trip. Now, if you would like to go on the next trip and we’re going to be playing another trip, call in, give us your information so we can keep in touch with you as we develop those plans and set the date. You want to get your input as to what time of year you’d like to go, where you’d like to go in addition to Israel, and you’ll have some input and you’ll have some impact if you start right away letting us know this is what I’d like to do.

This is when I could go. This is the only time of year I can go, whatever it is, and get your name in here with us, and we’ll try to make sure that you’re on the next trip with us. That’d be great. We’re going to go to Lansing, Michigan. Now we have Brent. And Brent is ready. Welcome to Bibleline Brand, you’re on the air. Hey, thank you, Dr. Hank. It was really great to hear your program. A couple of things.

I went to Israel a couple of years ago and did get the bathtis. The bathtis in Jordan was an awesome experience. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And I wish I could go with you this time. She’s freezing up here. I had bad luck. I’m an Orlando native, but my family’s up here so I’m really suffering this year, but we do things for a lot of, right? Just a quick question. I kind of grew up, well, southern Baptist, and always believed in the pre-fields, right?

feels right and it just you know that’s my point of view but i get around some of the local dealers are you know like white beers they would they want to go to the scriptures to to make that better well what is really happening is that they don’t understand how the scriptures lay out in that the church is uh… the brine of christ and the church is a separate age called the dispensation of grace that has been slipped in to God’s program for Israel.

That God’s program for Israel is on hold. And as soon as the church ages completed and the rapture takes us out, then God will go back to finishing up with Israel. We just talked about that a moment ago with the last seven years of Daniel’s 70 weeks of years kicking off the clock as soon as we leave that last seven years will tick off, which is the tribulation period. And in Christ we’ll return and set up his kingdom. And Israel will become the head nation on the earth.

But many of these churches that believe that, believe that God has done with Israel and the church has replaced Israel and some of this theology is just really totally wrong in off the wall. But I like 1st Thessalonians 110. It says that there we’re to wait for his son from heaven which has delivered us from the wrath to come. So if the tribulation were to be first, then wouldn’t it say we’re to wait for the blessed tribulation? I mean the awful tribulation but instead we’re the way for Christ’s return.

So I mean the next event on God’s program is very clearly Christ coming for us in an inventory relation and he says there he’s delivered us from that. that so uh… obviously uh… uh… they’ve got it backwards well in the and they twisted the festival of millions of war you know where they say it’s christian Christ can’t come back until you know the Antichrist is revealed. Well I think that’s backwards. They do too. No of course but they’re mixing things up because the rapture and the second coming two different events and his second coming cannot happen until after the rapture, rather after the tribulation period is over, but the rapture figures off the tribulation period and the antichrist will be real right after the rapture, but then the second coming will occur when Christ will actually defeat and destroy the antichrist.

He’s a great writer. I know what you’re talking about. All we can do is just keep pointing them back in the description and say, look, it can’t be that way because why would Christ drag His bride, the bride of Christ, the church through the tribulation? Jesus wouldn’t be that. And doesn’t the word actually say it keeps us from? Absolutely. In Revelation 3 and 10, we’re kept from it, our trial that will be over the whole earth, we’re going to be delivered from that term.

Revelation 3 10 is very good. Alright, we’re right on target. I’m going with you. I’ll go in with you. Well, maybe the next time. That’d be great, Brad, if you could go to the next trip. Well, you take care of it, and try to stay warm. I will, and again, you have a great trip. Alright, thanks so much. went up there freezing in Lansing, Michigan with capital of Michigan and we’re glad to be on here every day up there also in Flint and Saigonon, Michigan on broadcast.

We now have Linda and she’s in even Florida. Linda, welcome to Bibleline you on here. Hi, good morning. How are you? Good. I’m part of your program. Thank you so much. Yesterday I listened to the Christian program as much of a Ken during the day, 5.70 a.m. and I was listening to drive time and he was talking about the price of the dollar in OPEC. And then I went on to say about the gambling that is going on in the seminal gambling is now setting up and different with a slot machines into inconspicuous little places in strip malls next to bingo places.

Is there anything as Christians, as concerned citizens, and just how this is all part of the bigger picture for abuse and setting up? Is there anything that we can do to make a stand and take a stand? Well, you know, Christians have been standing up and fighting for a long time, and the evil is just overcoming us. And the Bible says that in the last days they would be evil days, and how evil men would grow worse and worse.

We’d second Timothy chapter 3 and it lists about two dozen things that we see in the headlines every day today and the Bible says that’s the way it’s going to be and it says evil men verse 13 will grow worse and worse the seething and being deceived and my goodness the politics of getting the gambling in is all a big deception. They just kind of they can’t inch their way in and look at how they stuck in now through the Indian reservations and a different set of rules than the state government has.

And now even our governor seemingly being behind all this, it’s just inching their way in and pretty soon. Once we christians are raptured out, it’s going to really be bad. And I’m glad I’m leaving before it really, really, really gets bad after the rapture. Amen. Okay, so that’s part of the government. That’s part of society that we’re talking about. It’s frustrating, you know, and I hate there’s so many things I love about this country that I see going down the tube and it just breaks my heart, but The wonderful thing for us as a Christian is we know we’re citizens of heaven and this world is not our home We’re passing through and we need to do the best job We can while we’re here to speak up and and take our stand, but we’re leaving We’re out of here our home is in heaven.

That’s where we live forever and and in the meantime We ought to do as much at least in a negative way say damage but I mean good damage for Christ by wrecking the plans of those that are evil by trying to say this is wrong and we ought not to do it. Which leads me to the next question. The ministers in the churches are preaching a false doctrine if they don’t preach basic fundamentals of Paul’s gospel. Anything aside from that would be Paul’s gospel.

Absolutely right. You know, all the apostles taught the same gospel, and Paul says in Galatians 1 8, though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you, and that which from priests do you let him be a curse. And that’s obviously it becomes of a cursed message, and it says let him be a curse of God. So, as long-time standing members of a church where this minister has been invited into and now acting preacher. If he was preaching a false gospel, is it the duty of the members?

Good evening. Have a good evening, good evening. And have a great evening, good evening, good evening. And have a great evening, good evening, good evening. So, if you are struggling, you get together to get together and challenge him on his belief and perhaps, be able to communicate to him. Well, it’s either that or you have to leave, you know what I mean? I don’t see how you can sit under the bad message, but if his message is wrong, then you either have to say that he needs to go, or if the church recognizes that it is false, yes, that’s true, sometimes they will bring a ministry in and they don’t really find out what he believes in the after he’s there and then that really becomes the problem.

And really, if the church recognizes the fact that he’s there, she’s only saying that he’s Church has established doctrines and he’s preaching contrary to them and he ought to go but otherwise you might have to look for a new church. So we have to be as wise as and as cunning as is the Bible says to ask for wisdom and the Lord of divotuous. And be alert to the Satan subtleties because he likes to bring it in through the pulpit if he can and they’re unsafe ministers that go into ministry and they’ve passed their churches and they don’t even know more than that’s scary scary well then thank you for calling as you appreciate that call and I hope you have a wonderful day and we’ll move on now to Harold in Sarasota Florida and the Herald welcome the Bible in your own ear.

Hey Dr. Tank how are you doing? Good. Great. You know what’s up? In the gospel Jesus was teaching that it’s easier for a camel to get through the I have a needle there for a wristband to be headed. Now, do you believe that Jesus was talking about, you know, by Christus that the maintenance does not have God against rich? It’s hard for him to find salvation of time in the Lord, or is it, is there, I guess, is someone able to have riches after they find Jesus and still be prosperous and still, you know, find heaven?

absolutely what happens though in the case of a person who has riches that they feel like they don’t have any need. They feel like everything is okay and that they don’t need God or they don’t need man. They’re independent. Money seems to give them a sense of independence of even God and that’s the danger. But absolutely rich men can come to know the Lord and it talks in the Bible about rich it meant that they’ll let that make them be high-minded and think that they’re above the people or benefit of the people because they have more money because we’re all sinners saved by grace and that they ought to use their riches wisely but no it doesn’t affect whether you’re saving up but usually people in that realm don’t see their need of God.

God. Okay. Well, let me ask this, you know, in the Bible also, the rich man came to Jesus and was like, what do I have to do? And Jesus was like, you know, drop everything that you do. I give all your rich away and follow me. Do you think that is a picture of Moses with Moses? Well, obviously Moses gave up what he could have had in the way of earthly riches because he wanted the riches he’d have in heaven.

Hebrews 11 tells us that he has deemed the reproach of Christ greater riches and the treasures that were available to him in Egypt. So he had the bigger picture. But the rich man there was told two things. Christ said, I think it’s in about verse 22 or so, he says, come and that’s how you become saved. He simply come to Christ and then he said, to follow me, which means that was where he told him about how he’d have treasure in heaven if he sold everything and followed Christ as a disciple.

But the two things go down there, salvation which is free, he simply come to Christ and then following Christ which means that you forsake everything else to really live your life for him and that’ll bring about great reward in heaven while you think i want to make them back i mean that i want to talk about but uh… well he got it you know you have a victim of uh… marrying uh… with too many wives and they all like corrupted him so he had seven hundred wives can you imagine uh…

i i just can’t even imagine uh… but anyway uh… uh… solomon that got sidetracked by his wives and uh… They were from foreign countries and introduced their foreign gods and God got real angry because he departed from the war and that was the bad part. Thank you so much for calling in held and that was Harold down in Sarasota. We’re now going to go to James and Sanford for it and James welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. How are you doing?

Can you please explain to the people, the factor of what you call it? If a pastor or anybody who’s baptizing you would say, I’m talking about baptizing your water, it was to say, I baptize your name with Jesus and then they baptize you. That is still not being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Oh, of course. Water baptism is not the same thing. The one that saves occurs at the moment of belief. It says in 1 Corinthians 12, 13, by one spirit are we all, A-L-L baptized into one body.

So the Holy Spirit takes you as a believer at the moment of belief and places you into the body of Christ. That’s the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that’s the one that saves. Water baptism is simply ceremonial and is a picture of the cleansing that occurs when you trust Christ. For cleanses by the blood of Christ, the emeritus got it right when he said, what can wash away my sin? And he didn’t say water. He said, nothing but the blood.

Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. And that’s the only way we can say it. So when you trust Christ, your baptize with only spirit. Water baptism follows as a testimonial. So it doesn’t matter what they say whether they say I’m the one that’s right doesn’t mean I say in the name of the father of the son of the Holy Spirit. I got dig and you get that out of the Matthew 28. Alright, appreciate it. You have a good one.

Thank you James and Sanford for that was James and it water doesn’t save. We’re going to call in Tampa for a call welcome to my plan you’re on the air. Yeah, I need to ask you a question and maybe I’ll hang up and I’ll let you answer. And the Bible talks about how to go about picking a pen or a pen. I call you home too quick because I missed that last part. Your phone broke up as you were hanging up.

I didn’t hear that in part of the question. My operator, she’s going to say it too. We didn’t hear it. Call you have to call back. I just missed that last sentence. Anyway, we are going to go to Israel. We’ll be in Israel next week. We’ll be broadcasting from over there. So listen in. We won’t begin the first program you’ll hear from Israel will be on Wednesday because we have to get over there and get settled in. But we hope that you’ll be listening and we’ll try to keep you updated.

You can still send questions in or call them in and we’ll try to answer those questions from Israel. We’ll be broadcasting from Israel which ought to be a lot of fun. We did that in March of this past year and we’ll be doing that again. If you want to go on the next trip, I would call in and leave your name so we can begin again a dialogue with you and tell us when you want to go, where you want to go, what your interests are because you can influence this before we set it in concrete.

But we haven’t set the date, we haven’t set where we’re going to go, except we are going to Israel. But we’d love to have you on the trip. It’ll have a lot of people that say, hey, I want to go. Well let’s go. please call in and leave your name and the information will be contacting you and staying in touch with you as we plan out the trip. All right, we’ll call us back and let’s go ahead and find out what he said.

You just hung up a little bit too soon for us, Carl. So we’re going to go to Carl and find out what the question was. Go ahead and do it again. I’m sorry, but then my phone cut off. it was breaking up and we just lost the last words. My question is, and the Bible talks about how they pick an elder or a deacon or someone representing a church. Usually it says the husband of one wife. Now, what does that mean exactly?

Because I think I was told that back then there were men that married to more than one and another was polygamy. And so is it talking about the hubpin at one of one wife or does it mean person cannot have he’s in a servant? In the state before he got saved is he no longer than able to serve in that capacity of one? I believe it means one wife period. And I think the reason why is because it’s a role model for the people in the church.

If the people in the church say, well the pastor’s been divorced and I guess it’s okay for him Then it’s okay for me and I think God didn’t want that so Men who are divorced can serve and we have been serving in many capacities in our church But we don’t let him be elders or deacons In the past year. I don’t believe should be divorced. So Some people say well, he’s only married to one What they’re trying to say is one at a time.

So divorce and you get remarried and you get divorced and you get remarried. But as long as you have one wife at a time, I don’t think that’s what it’s saying either. I think it’s saying one wife, period. So that doesn’t disqualify you from being used of God. Certainly many divorced people can be used in a great way to minister to the things of God. But it’s, I think as far as the older deacon position. That’s it. Thank you so much for that call.

I hope it helped and we are going to have to say goodbye for today in just a minute. Again, we are listeners supported. We would like to have you pray for us. If you could, give to help my mind stay on the air and be able to continue to do what we’re doing. You could give a gift on credit card over the phone if you like. You can call right now and our friends are there available to take that call and you can tell them, I’d like to give a gift to buy one.

tell them how much and they’ll be able to facilitate that. If you want an envelope to be sent, they’ll send you an envelope and you can mail that gift in. That’s right. We were in Africa, rather we were in Israel last year and we met some wonderful people from Nigeria and one of them we met said he listened to Bible and all the time in Nigeria on the internet.
