We’ll do 10 hours of teaching on 2nd Peter. So far we’re having a wonderful time, a great study. You can order this on CD or DVD. Also you can get 1st Peter, which we finished before we went to Israel this year. And we’ll be finishing 2nd Peter, then you’ll have the whole set 1st and 2nd Peter. dynamic teaching by Peter the Apostle under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. What a great, great couple of books here and we hope that you’ll take advantage and get those series.

By the way we’re going to have our third Sunday dinner if you’re in the area. We invite you to come by and worship with us on the third Sunday, that’s April 20th, and we’ll have a dinner right after the worship service. Just come, bring your Bible, your family, and your appetite, and come at 10.30 for the worship service, and then stay for a wonderful, luncheon dinner that will follow the morning service. And by the way, that afternoon we’re having a baptism service.

If you have not been water baptized since you have been saved, then you need to be water baptized. And this is of course a ceremony that pictures how you are tens of your sin by the blood of Christ. The water doesn’t save you. If you died without having been water baptized, you’d still go to heaven, but it’s an act of obedience as a believer. And certainly there’s a blessing every time we’re obedient to the Lord. And this is a way of giving testimony that you have been cleansed of your sin by the blood of Christ.

We’ll do that on three o’clock in the afternoon of the 20th of April. That’s just less than two weeks away. If you’d like to be included in that baptism, you can call our office and let us know and we’ll give you the information and the directions and you can follow us right here after the luncheon from the Church to the baptism site. In any case, those are some of the things coming up. We’re also talking about Israel and the potential is either to go in October of this year or February of next.

We’d like to hear your opinion, give me your vote on that as we’re going to make up our minds soon. And some people have been telling us what they think and we’ll kind of take a look at what everybody is saying and make a decision. But we’ll do a 15-day trip, 10 days all Israel with a five-day option prior to where we go to Egypt, visit the pyramids, and the Cairo Museum to have a dinner cruise on the Nile River right downtown Cairo and we’ll be staying on an island in the middle of the Nile River and five-star deluxe hotel and just a beautiful Dr.

Hank Lindstrom. Dr.Brexit. place to visit and we’ll drive them to a lot. The vacation resort city on the Red Sea, that’s in Israeli city. People come from all over to Bautarski, Jetski, Scuba Dive and enjoy the sunshine and the waters and the beaches and then we’ll drive over into Petra in southern Jordan, see the rock city of Petra where the Jewish people flee from the anachrist and then we’ll come back to a lot and then go into Israel and in the meantime people that are going to do just a 10-day Israel part will arrive and we’ll meet and we’ll meet together for the rest of the trip with with the whole group.

Love you had to go put your name on a list with us and We’ll keep you informed as to our decisions as we go. Just call our 800 number and say, I’m interested in the Israel trip. Put my name on the potential list of those that are going and we’ll be able to keep you informed. We hope that you’re enjoying Bibleline and we are going to get into our Bible for a few minutes here. We’re going to take our callers.

If you want to call in, it’s 1-800-576-3771. It’s 1-800-576-3771. Alright, we’re going to turn into our Bibles to Matthew 5. Here we find that Jesus says in verse 17, think not that I am come to destroy the law. By the way, we’ll stop right there. That is an expression that refers to the first five books of the Bible that God of course wrote through the Prophet Moses. And then it says here, or the prophets, that is the rest of the Old Testament.

And so what Jesus is saying here is, think not that I am coming to destroy the law or the prophets, that is the entire Old Testament, I am not coming to destroy but to fulfill. Isn’t that interesting? The Old Testament is amazing and it tells in advance the coming of Jesus. Hundreds of prophecies were literally fulfilled by Jesus at his first coming. And Christ did not come to do away with the Old Testament when he came to fulfill it.

Even in verse 18, Jesus says, for verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. Here when Jesus uses the expression of the law, he is referring to the entire Old Testament. Many times it is used that way. Sometimes it refers just to just to commandments. it refers to just the first five books of the Bible called the law and then at the times it refers to the entire Bible.

In this case, that’s what it’s talking about. Jesus says, barely I say and do you tell heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. What is he saying here? Well, the jot and the Tittle is talking about the Hebrew alphabet. In the English alphabet there are 26 characters. In the Hebrew alphabet there are 22 characters. In the Hebrew alphabet the smallest character is called a jot. The Tittle is the smallest marking of a letter in the Hebrew alphabet.

That would be equivalent to the dot over the I in the English alphabet. That would be the the smallest mark. What Jesus is saying here is not even one letter or even the smallest marking of a letter shall in any wise pass from the Old Testament till all of it is fulfilled. Amazing isn’t it? So obviously Jesus believed in a literal Bible that every word, every letter, every marking of a letter in the original autographs, in the original manuscripts as given by God through the prophets was set down perfectly exactly as he would have it be without error and that we had an infallible perfect Bible given to us as it came to us to the prophets.

Now we can’t say that about our translations because all of them have problems but we still have a very, very, very accurate Bible. It’s been transmitted very, very carefully. And we do have some problems, but they are minor of the major… The Bible is there throughout, even with those who try to change the Scriptures. The Jehovah’s Witnesses, for example, have the new world translation. They deliberately tried to sanitize the Bible and get rid of doctrines that they don’t agree with.

And they work at it pretty hard. And yet, if you know your Bible well, they can’t get rid of all the truth. I have been able to use the New World translation and lead Joe’s witnesses to Christ with their Bible. I don’t recommend that for the average person because you need to be very familiar with it. But they don’t get rid of the truth in every place. They have got rid of it in some of the more conspicuous places, but they don’t get rid of the truth in every place.

By the way, this might shock you, but the NIV translation is almost identical to the Jehovah’s Witness New World translation. Both of them drop 44 verses in their entirety. Can you believe it? 44 verses are missing in their entirety from your Bible plus thousands of other omissions if you have the NIV translation. It’s probably one of the worst out there. We have a quiz. You’re welcome to call an export. We’ll mail it out to you free. But it’s the NIV quiz.

If you give somebody this quiz and they use the NIV to get their answers, they’ll get a zero. guess what? The questions are all on the 44 verses that are not in their Bible, so they can’t look up the verses because they’re not there. And they obviously will get a zero on the quiz. It’s a real wake up for those who have the NIV translation. And by the way, we also have the book New Age Bible Versions, which is really powerful in exposing about 20 of the most modern translations out there right now and the problems that are there in each of them.

It’s about 800 pages and it’s well worth the price, a gift of $20 and we’ll ship that out to you, New Age Bible versions. But notice Jesus believed in a literal Bible. You don’t want anything to be subtracted from your Bible and you don’t want anything to be added to your Bible. In Revelation chapter 22, in verses 18 and 19, Jesus gives a warning at the very end of the Bible and he says that you’re not to add nor are you to subtract from the Bible.

And boy are they doing that left and right today and the Bible says that they come under God’s curse for doing that. Jesus believed in a literal Bible. He said it would be all fulfilled. He did not come to destroy the Bible but to fulfill it. And he said, till heaven and earth pass, not even one letter, a jot, or the smallest marking of a letter, a tittle, shown any wise past from the scriptures, the Old Testament till all be fulfilled.

reading from Matthew 5 17 and 18. Now let me give you an example of how accurate the Bible is and how Jesus tells us and shows us and demonstrates us how it is to be taken literally. When you go over to Matthew chapter 22 you have Jesus confronted here by a religious group called the Sadducees. And the Sadducees were the liberal theologians of that day. We still have them around today. They didn’t believe in the resurrection. They didn’t believe in life after death.

And here they come and they confront Christ. Verse 23 of Matthew 22 says, the same day came to Christ, the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection. Well, Obviously, they didn’t believe in life after death and they didn’t believe in the spirit world angels and so on and They’re properly named they were sad you see Anyway Good way to remember their name. They’re sad you see the Sadducees and notice they say in verse 24 as they quote the Old Testament They say master Moses said, and now they’re going to quote from one of the first five books of the Bible, and they quote from the writings of Moses.

And here they quote, if a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up seed unto his brother. Now they come up with a hypothetical case. Now they say there were with us seven brothers. The first when he married a wife, deceased, and having left no children, left his wife under his brother. Likewise the second, also the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, and the fifth, and the fifth. And last of all, the woman died also.

I don’t know about But if I was one of those brothers, I think I’d refuse to marry that woman. Everybody that marries her dies. And then finally, after they all had died, seven different brothers marrying her and dying and then the next brother steps up at Marizer and dies and so on. I think I would step out of the line and say I refuse to marry her. But last of all, apparently she ate her own soup and she died also.

But here’s the question. They asked Jesus, therefore in the resurrection, whose wife shall she be of the seven for the all-hadder? So that was the big question. She had seven different husbands, whose wife will she be of the seven? Verse 29, I love this answer. If you have your Bible open, Matthew 22, 29. Jesus answered and said unto them, you do error. That’s E-R-R. were in error and he says, you do error and it says here not knowing the Scriptures.

Wow! What does that imply to us? It implies to us that if you are in the Scriptures, you will not have to fall into error. And if they were in error because they didn’t know their Bible and how true that is even to this very day. Those who do not know their Bible are susceptible to falling into error. You’ve got to be in the Scriptures, and Jesus said, you do error or you are in error, E-R-R-O-R, not knowing the Scriptures.

And the second reason, he says, nor the power of God. Well he answers the question first of all, who’s wives she would be? He says in verse 30, in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are gay, nor are they gay, given the marriage but are as the angels of God in heaven. So in heaven we’re not going to be married. So she won’t be the wife of any of the seven brothers. Believers will all be brothers and sisters of one big happy family with God as our Father, but nobody will be married in heaven.

We will not procreate. We will not have children and so on. Verse 31, but here’s the part I wanted to get to. But in the resurrection they need a marriage nor give it a marriage, but as angels have gotten to heaven, verse 31, but is touching the resurrection of the dead. Have you not read that which is spoken unto you by God? Now it’s interesting here that Jesus is about to quote from the same writings of Moses, but Jesus ascribes authorship to God.

Earlier, the Sadducees said, Master Moses said, and they quote from the writings of Moses. Jesus now quotes from the writings of Moses and he says, haven’t you read that which is spoken unto you by God? And then he has this very simple quote, I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. that one little sentence is taken from Exodus 3 when God appeared to Moses at the burning bush and God identified himself by saying, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

Now that one sentence actually was used to prove the resurrection of the dead. You’ll find here that Jesus bases his whole argument on the tenths of the verb am. Abraham had been dead for hundreds of years. And God didn’t say, I was Abraham’s God. He didn’t say I was Isaac’s God. I was Jacob’s God. He said I am. What does that imply? Even though they were dead for hundreds of years, it implies they were still alive. And then here you have the icy on the cake.

Jesus himself, who is God, who is the author of scripture, then gives us his inspired commentary on the Scriptures, and he says here in verse 32, God is not the God of the dead but of the living. Wow, well he blew them away. But notice every word as it was originally given was given exactly as God would give it. And the Bible is to be taken literally. And here Jesus takes one little sentence, wipes out the Sadducees by basing his whole argument on the resurrection on the tense of the verb am.

I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and this is Bibleline. We’re going to go to our callers. We have Millie in Orange City, Florida, and Millie, welcome to my blind. You are on the air. Well, thank you, Pastor Lindstrom. I sure appreciate your program, and I want to thank you for your faithful, Mr. God’s word. And for the very well way that you answer the questions that we put to you. So that’s one thing. But we were studying about Hannah in for Samuel 1.

Okay. And how she took her son Samuel to the temple as a gift to the Lord because he had given her the son of which he had asked. Now she took three bullets and one ephah of flower and a bottle of wine that says, what’s an ephah? That is a measure of grain. You know how much in English terms? I would have to look it up because that’s not that significant to me today. But if you were a farmer in those days, you would know exactly how much it was.

be they would measure out so much and they would sell it or trade it by that bushel amount or whatever it is it’s not a bushel but it’s a basket to that of a certain size. I see well what I found the only thing I could find is that they compared it to what they called a bath which meant nothing to me either you know the ultimate measures and weights and some reference bibles have those things in the back of the Bible where you could actually look up what they would be equivalent to today.

Well, I didn’t have a Bible that had that in, but anyway, I wanted to ask you about in verse 25, it says they slew one bull of what she had taken, one bull, and what happened to the flower and the wine? Was that a gift to the priest or what was there? It’d be offered up as an offering, but yet the priest, you know, once they offered up the animal, then they would roast it, and of course they would eat it.

So obviously it was to be part of a meal that would be eaten, I think, after the sacrifice was offered. But she obviously gave it as a sacrifice, and it would be eaten by the priest and also those who came, they gave it as well. I think we’d get to eat of it. Oh, I see. Hannah had five more children after Samuel. I read that in one source and I just couldn’t find it in the Bible. Well, I’ll have to look at it.

I can’t recall right now about how many of the children she had, but we can look at her maybe and try to come back at you tomorrow with that. OK. Well, I try to answer your program every morning. And if I miss it, they re-broad get casted. So that’s wonderful. I get to here at the second time if I missed it on the first. Isn’t that wonderful? Yes it is. Well I do thank you for your program and thank you for your answer.

All right, thank you, Milly. She’s listening out of, I believe, the land floor. And they play us again in the evening. So I can listen twice. Listen, I want to thank many of you responded yesterday. We have a shortfall. And we really need about $20,000 by the end of this week. Or we might lose a station or two that we’re on because we just have been short. I think the economy has hurt us and I think it’s hurt other ministries as well.

But we thank many of you that responded yesterday and we’re encouraged that maybe we can reach that gold. And if you could, we really could use your help. We need about $20,000 by the end of the week. I think we got about three or four in yesterday and I don’t have that total in front of me, but we praise the Lord for what God has done We still need to go a considerable amount. So pray for us if you could give a gift by credit card over the phone That’d be wonderful if you can give a dollar that would be appreciated if you can give a more generous gift or you can give maybe 100 or 50 or even 500 or a thousand that would be great.

We definitely need your help right now To get out of this shortfall that we’re in and we hope that you’ll So pray for Bible and if you give a gift, that would be great if you can’t. We love you just as much and we’ll just have to see what the Lord has in mind. But we don’t want to cut any station that we’re on right now. some will be In jeopardy, if we can’t raise this money by the end of the week.

So pray for us. And God bless the many of you that have stood with us and are trying to help make up that shortfall. God bless all of you. We’re excited about being on the air with you right now, and we have Tony in Richmond, Virginia, and Tony, welcome to Bibleline. Hey, Dr. Lynch, I’m, God bless you. A question I have a gentleman that I know that tells a story of, he believes when he was, that he would be a, uh, for his gospel.

He believed that people are seeing the Spirit of the Lord and the countering angels today. I’ll hang up and listen. All right, well, I believe that most of those things are not true. Angels are not seen by anybody today. I don’t believe. and I wouldn’t expect that God would speak directly to a four-year-old. Really, the Spirit of God does not communicate with a person until after they get saved. He is trying to win them to himself, but they have to get saved first.

And if he was not saved before, I doubt that whole story. But a lot of people have stories, and they really believe them, I think, but I think they’re not conforming to the Scripture. We’re going to have to take a break, come back and do a second half hour Bible and so I hope you’ll continue to listen. We’ll come back and then rejoin stations again for a second half hour. So keep your radio tuned right where it is. We’ll be right back and we’ll take a short break and then we’ll do the second half hour of Bible Aid.

Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. It’s 1-800-576-3771. All right, I’m Dr. Englund. It’s great to be with you and thank you for tuning in to Bible and we’re excited about being able to be with you and we just have met so many wonderful folks, many wonderful friends through the Bible and ministry and God bless all of you and I want to thank all of you who pray for and give to Bible and this is a time when we have a special need as we need about $20,000 by the end of this week, or we may have to cut a station or two that we’re on, and we certainly don’t want to do that.

So would you pray for us? If you could help us, it would be greatly appreciated. You can call and give a gift by credit card over the phone, and you can also mail that gift in. We had a good response yesterday, but we still have considerable way to go, and your help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I want to thank all of you who pray for my boy. And if you are going to help us out, I want to thank you to advance God bless you because it is your gift that make this program possible.

So call that 800 number, 1-800-576-3771. And you can give your gift by credit card over the phone or you can ask for an envelope to be sent in mail it or just ask for the address to be given to you slowly over the phone so you can copy it down and you can mail that gift in. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. God bless you as we thank you for the gift that you’re going to give. We are going to do a second and a half hour by one in just a minute and of course we hope that you’ll remain tuned in to catch that and we’re on the Internet so you can get this program and other programs 24 hours a day anytime you like.

We’re talking about going back to Israel and it would be a 15 day trip if you took the whole trip but we’re splitting it up 10 days only to Israel and a 5 day option before the 10 day Israel only part where we would go to Egypt and also to a lot on the Red Sea and to the Rock City of Petra and then join with the others that are going to do is wrongly and be together for the rest of the tour.

If you have any questions or you’re interested in going please call us and put your name on the list and we’ll be glad to keep you informed as we make our decisions but we hope that you’ll go. It would be wonderful. We’re studying second Peter right now we plus 3 and 4 last night and we will do 6 more hours or a total of 10 hours of teaching on 2nd Peter and that series will be available on CD or DVD.

You can call and order that set. We’re now going to rejoin the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour Bibleline. So keep your radio tuned right where it is. When you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question, you can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Oh, all right. We’re back from that break and this is Bible and it’s exciting to be with you.

And we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our cities here at the Calvary Community Church. And we’re located right next to the Tampa International Airport, one block west and about midway between the highways of Memorial and Hillsboro here on George Road at 4811, George Road in Tampa, Florida. in Tampa, Florida. Easy to find because if you can find Tampa’s airport, you can find us. And whether you come to visit us from the east or west or north or south, all the major highways, interstates come right by the airport.

So it makes it very convenient and very easy for somebody to find us. And if you need directions, you can go to our website, and it’s already plugged in with our address. So all you have to do is type in your address and hit go, and it’ll give you a map quest description of how to get here from wherever you might be from anywhere in the United States. The map that you can print out and use to find us.

I hope you’ll come by. Our third Sunday, April 20th, will be a dinner Sunday. You can come by and bring your family and your appetite and your Bible and visit with us at the 1030 service and stay for the dinner lunch afterward and be our guest. Then that afternoon we’re going to have a baptism service. If you’ve not been water baptized, we would love to include you if you’d like and that’ll be at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. So please feel free to call us and get on that list and or if you want to get baptized in the Jordan in Israel, make plans to go with us on our next trip to Israel.

We baptized twelve on this past trip in the Jordan River and we’ll be happy to baptize you in Israel. So maybe you might want to wait and get baptized over there in Israel if you want to go with us on that trip. That’d be fun. By the way, Bibleline is right now experiencing financial shortage. I think it’s part of the economy and things that are going on, but we’re not the only one. I think it’s been affected by that.

But we need about $20,000 by the end of this week and we hate to mention money but this is critical because we might have to cut some stations and we don’t want to cut anybody off that’s listening to this program. So if you could help us, that would be greatly appreciated. If you could call in and give a gift by credit card, no gift is too small. I believe God is going to multiply whatever comes in and make it work somehow.

But if you can only give a dollar, that would be greatly appreciated. Well, thank God for it. But if you could give 50 or 100 or 500 or 1,000, that would really help us because we’ve got to take care of this debt this week. And if you would help us, we would be grateful to the Lord for your part in doing that. So you can call and you can do that by credit card over the phone. You can also go to our website and do it on our online bookstore and do it right there online, it’s a secure site.

You could also mail that gift in, but however you do that, God bless you. We thank you in advance for your prayers and your gifts. And thus far, God has always kept Bibleline on the air. And this is certainly a time when we are in need of help to take care of this shortage. So call us and give a gift if you can. We’re We’re not going to go to the phone lines. We’re going to go down to Miami, Florida, and we have MacArthur on the line, and MacArthur, welcome to my line.

You’re on the air. Hello, MacArthur. MacArthur? Are you there? You’re on the air. Hello? Yes. This is Dave and Cynthia. What is your name? Dave. Dave. I’m sorry, Dave. Okay. Hi. There was a close you want me for me. Okay. I just looked up to you. That’s it. Yeah. Is one can of a homer? Yeah. Well, that helps me a lot because I don’t know how to do it. It’s actually 0.652 bushels. Like almost two-thirds of a bushel. Okay.

Well, that’s wonderful. Thank you, Dave, for looking at that. Okay, okay. I just have one other thing. For all your listeners out there, I got the new strong support, the importance from you and it is just invaluable when you study the Bible. I just recommended all the callers out there. Get the strong support and support and serve you. Well thank you Dave, God bless you. Dave is in St. Petersburg and he’s maybe talking about that new one. We have the large print strongness concordance.

So we have the old one but we also have the new large print strongness. That’s really great. Thanks for telling us about that Dave. If you like to call us the numbers 1-800-576-3771. Well Robert, calls in from pumping on each floor of these is offer question how can I prove to a friend that Catholic popes are not the direct descendants of Peter the apostle as they claim. Well obviously the burden of proof is on the Catholic Church they can’t prove it they have a gap of hundreds of years the Roman Catholic Church didn’t really exist as we know it until about the 6th century The church was headed up in the fourth century in Constantinople, which is of course modern-day Istanbul Constantine was the ruler of the whole world at that time and the church was headed up there in Constantinople later the church branched into two groups the

Roman or Western branch and the Eastern branch the Greek or Eastern branch of Christianity and And those two branches are still around to this very day. And of course the Eastern Church also claims to be the one true church. And the Roman Catholic Church claims that they’re the one true church. And they all claim that they have a succession back to the Apostle Peter, which of course there is no such a thing in the Bible. If they were true and they were to follow in the footsteps of Peter, Peter, they really ought to read what Peter has to say and follow his teachings because the Roman Catholic Church and the Greek Orthodox Church have departed pretty significantly away from what Peter taught.

Peter teaches that Jesus is the rock, but he’s the foundation stone, and he’s the cornerstone, and that salvation is only in Jesus, not in the church. But yet the churches are claiming they have the power to give salvation out through the works that people can do within the church, keeping the sacraments and etc. And Peter says in Acts 4, 12 about Jesus, he says, neither is there salvation in any other, Therefore there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

Peter is very plain in 1 Peter 1, 18 that were redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus Christ as of a lamb without, blemish you without spot which was offered up for you and for me. So we’re saved by faith in Christ and Christ alone and obviously those who claim to follow Peter aren’t listening to what Peter had to say and that’s sad. So I hope that helps a little bit. We have a couple of books here that will help you.

We’ve got one called The Woman Rides the Beast by Dave Hunt. Excellent. That we’ll really do exactly what you’re looking for it to do. We have another book called Understanding Roman Catholicism and that one takes the Catechism and takes 37 critical doctrines and quotes the quotes from the Roman in Catholic Catechism and then quote scripture. You can make up your mind whether the church is departed from the Bible or not because they’re not even close and that’s a real opener.

Plus we have a book called Two Babylons which traces many of the paganists that got weight in the Christianity that’s still with us today in the modern day churches. Very powerful book. We have several things and I have some CDs also that you can listen to where I talk about these things. We are going to go down to Miami and we have MacArthur on the line. MacArthur, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

MacArthur, are you there? Yes sir. All right. Go on the air. Go ahead. Yes, but there’s a lot. I was the question that I have. I want to ask you. I’m so glad that I listen to your stations every day. I listen to the station every day. I listen to your words and then the words. Well here on this earth it’s going to get worse. It says in Second Timothy 3 13 evil men will grow worse. the people of man will grow worse and worse, the saving of being the seed.

This planet is going to get worse and worse, and the rapture will happen. All true believers will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and then the worst of the worst, the darkest hours of human history will take place over a seven-year period, and that is called great tribulation. During that time, Satan will have pretty good control over the whole earth, and his man, the Antichrist will be ruling over the Western Hemisphere of the Earth and he will rule from Jerusalem as the counterfeit Christ.

But then at the end of those seven years Jesus will come back. He will take over the kingdoms of this world and he will bring peace on earth, good will toward Ben. So there is a bright future if we can just get beyond those seven years and whatever time we have left between now and the rapture. So the next event is the Rapture when if you’re a believer in MacArthur you go up with me and we’ll meet the Lord in the air for a live when that takes place.

And then seven years later Christ will return and He’ll bring finally peace on earth. Good will toward men. Hope that helps. Amen. Amen. Amen. Everything you say is true because the past, I believe the old testament, I believe the new but every I will easily kill in Daniel’s but from what I really really touched my heart. And the second question that I want to ask you is right now are we leaving the last days? Are we leaving the last days?

Yes we are. The Bible defines the last days as when the Jewish people would return back to the state of Israel. Israel. Since 1948, Israel is now a nation again back in the ancient homeland. That is the Latter-day’s. I don’t know how much more time we have left, but we are in the Latter-day’s and it’s indisk times that Jesus will return. Thank you for calling and for listening down in Miami, we have now Leonard in Richmond, Virginia and Leonard, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air i have a question for you are concerning different types of spirits uh…

but became body of the day and we talk about the mark chapter five when jesus cast out the dayman’s the lead in the dayman’s of the gentleman who was cutting itself in a cave and he said that you know he had two thousand different types of spirits of suicide on you know anger all these things inside the name that a different spirit had different names i understand that god’s angels you know a different have different names spirits also have different assignments different names as well.

Well, I’m sure the spirits are known by names, but here what you’re reading is the different things that they apparently do or reflect on people and they can definitely cause a person to not be able to speak or to be blind or have other and impact upon their sanity and so on, but theposted names of them generally not revealed. We only have one evil angel identified by name and that is Satan and otherwise we don’t have any names for the demons that we’re allowed to know about, but we do know about what they can do.

Thank you Leonard, we hope that helps a little bit. now going to go to Matthew in spring hill Florida Matthew welcome to my line and more time I have a question uh… concerning body that Christ took on and the mountain transfiguration that’s the same one that he’s coming back with the body that he was resurrected with before he ascended uh… that’s the same body it just wasn’t and it’s majestic former what can explain that for me a little bit I’m not sure I understand your question, but the very same body that Christ was crucified in is the same body that he came back in.

And obviously he tells them that the body that he was resurrected in had the marks of the crucifixion. And so it was the very same body. And when Peter preaches in Acts chapter 2, he says, let it be known unto you all of Israel that, assuredly, that the same Jesus, the one whom you crucified, God has raised from the dead and made both Lord and Christ. So it was the same Jesus as in the same body. And when Christ comes back at the Second Coming, he’ll come back in the same body.

and apparently we’ll see the wounds that he’ll retain for all eternity as a reminder to us of his love for us when he gave his life at the Cross of Calvary. So that body with the wounds in it will be around forever and ever and ever. I hope that helps a lot, Matthew. Thank you so much for your call. We’re now going to go to Bob in Tampa and Bob, welcome to Bible and You’re on the air. Morning, Dr.

Lindstrom, how are you today? Good. Dr. Lindstrom, I do not have a question for you today, but I wanted to just emphasize your plea back a few minutes ago about the need for $20,000 to keep Bibleline on the air and all the areas that you’re in right now. And just very briefly, I want your listening audience to know that I have been to your church and I have seen your operation for Bibleline, and I can assure all of your listeners that there is no better place that you could put their money.

There is not a penny wasted there. They operate on a shoe store. They do a fantastic job with what they do. But if you’re looking to have a place where you can contribute the money to a worthy cause and God’s work in this world, you couldn’t find a better one than Bible and what you do. Well, God bless you and thank you, Bob, for sharing that. We really just run everything real tight. And we believe that God has given us a sense of urgency here that the time is running out.

All you have to do is look at the political scene, the world scene, the youth scene, and just about everything we look at around us tells us the signs of the times you’re here at crisis returning. We want to get the gospel out desperately and we’re stretched out to the limit because we believe that we need to do all we can do while we can do it and obviously we need your help or listing audiences help to be able to pull that off so god bless you bob and thank you and we pray that the lord will raise up by this weekend uh…

the full twenty thousand dollars that we need to be caught up in and stay on the air here thank you a lot and uh… we appreciate that bob and you want to call in the phone numbers one eight hundred 576-3771. We have anonymous in Tampa, Florida calls in, leaves this off air question. I read in the Bible that a wicked man doesn’t pay his bills. What if a born-again Christian has to go bankrupt? Does that make him wicked? Well, I’m not too sure what verse you’re referring to.

Perhaps you’re talking about in Timothy, but I need to know that reference. Actually, the Bible is pretty clear that the wicked are those who haven’t trusted Christ and they’re wicked because everybody’s personal righteousness is as wickedness to God because we’re so far short of God’s glory that the Bible says that our most righteous deeds are Filting Rags in God’s Sight, Isaiah 64-6. So what we do doesn’t make us wicked. We are born with a sin nature that is wicked.

And the righteous in the Bible are those that have trusted Christ and had God’s righteousness imputed or credited to their account. So whether a Christian or an unsafe person doesn’t pay his bills or winds up going bankrupt, that isn’t what makes him wicked. And obviously sometimes circumstances come our way that we have no control over. And you might have to go bankrupt. I don’t know. Certainly maybe your health or loss of job or other things could create a problem where you really get into financial The wicked man is the unsaved man, the righteous man is the believer.

And then of course, the believer ought to be living for the Lord and live a life that is as close as he can possibly make it to the position that we actually have in Christ, which God sees us as sinless and righteous as God himself. actually have in Christ, which God sees us as sinless and righteous as God himself. We have Derek now in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and he talks about Agabus in the X-21, was he a true prophet?

May have been, but the problem is that there are no prophets today. By the end of the first century, and that is not where we are in X-21, that’s obviously long before the end of the first century, but the Bible teaches when the New Testament record was completed. It was completed by the book of Revelation which was probably written around 80-96. So at the end of the first century, at that point according to 1st Corinthians 13-8-10, the gift of prophecy, the gift of knowledge and the gift of tongues with cease and it did.

So there were profits up until that time. In first Corinthians it talks about there were profits within the Corinthian Church, but that gift would cease when the New Testament record was completed. So Derek, I hope that helps answer that question. Tony in Virginia calls in and I think we heard him on the air, asked us three same questions. We just answered that about our people today encountering angels and I believe the answer is no. Alright, we have a question here from Tampa from John.

Can you comment on Michael Schurmer’s book, Why Darwin Matters? Well, Michael Schurmer is an evolutionist, a Darwinist. He is unsaved, he’s an atheist, and so I don’t really recommend reading his book. It’s not going to be enlightening to the Christian. We believe, obviously, that God created every species, every kind, and in Genesis it says that every one of them would reproduce after their own kind, and that’s been true ever since. Baby porcupines have baby porcupines, and rabbits have baby rabbits, and elephants have baby elephants, and giraffes have baby giraffes.

You’ll never find anything different. evolution is a lie and certainly cannot be proven. Can it be seen in the microscope? Amoebas have been happily reproducing as amoebas as long as we’ve been able to view them. Nobody’s ever looked in the microscope and seen an amoeba that was dissatisfied and said, hey, I think I want to be a paramecium or something else. It just doesn’t happen. You cannot observe evolution taking place in the real world and there is no evidence that it ever did occur in the past.

I’m afraid Michael Schurmer one day will find out that he was wrong, but it will be too late for him because as an atheist he’s going to find there’s a God, there’s a hell, the Bible is true, evolution was false and his book was a waste of his time. So pray for Michael Schurmer that he’d come to know Christ. We have Joseph in safety harbor. He says, are you familiar with Gerald Flurry and the Philadelphia Church of God? They mixed works with salvation.

Can you comment? Well, it’s really going back to Armstrongism and Herbert W. Armstrong was a mixture of three different cults, the Seventh-day Adventist Joe’s Witnesses and another cult called British Israelism. Again, as most cults, they deny the fact that there’s a hell. They are working their way to heaven and obviously you don’t want to get mixed up with that at all. So I hope that helps. I’m Dr. Inkland Stenstrom. This is by blind. Again, we are excited about being able to be with you and we appreciate all of you, our listening audience.

We have a shortfall right now. We need $20,000 by the of the week. We had, I don’t know exactly how much came in yesterday, maybe three or four thousand. So we are part way, but we can sure use your help. If you can give a gift of any size, it would be really appreciated to help Bible and so that we wouldn’t lose any station that we have on the air. You can give it by credit card over the phone.

You can call in and give it right now. You could also call and get our address or get a number of sent to you so you can mail a gift in. You could also, of course, go to the website and on our online bookstore there’s a place where you can give a gift to Bible and then we sure thank you in advance for your prayers and for your gifts and a dear lady last night. He said, this is all I can give.

And I said, then that’s all God expects. And God is going to bless you for that $10. God bless people like that who probably couldn’t afford to give one penny more. And we certainly acknowledge that and appreciate that. Some can give much more. And if you could give a larger gift that would help us out of this temporary crises we’re in because we need to come up with this money right away. So help us if you would pray for Bible and if you can give a gift call in give it by credit card over the phone or go to the online bookstore on our website Bibleline ministries that o rg and You can give it there on the online bookstore You can also get an envelope mailed to you and mail that gift in or just get our address Recited to you over the phone and you can view it as well.

Don’t forget to visit our resource center or call in Again, we have, again, so many different books we mentioned a few on the air today. We’ve got the handbook on personal evangelism. It is so powerful in teaching you how to lead someone to Christ. We have a second Peter series going on right now. We’ve got six more hours to teach and we’ll conclude that set and you can call and order that set and then we’ll ship it out as soon as we complete it.

of course we want you to call and let us know if you want to go to Israel with us and we’ll kind of keep you informed. We have to run, time has run out but keep looking up, Jesus is coming, tell your friends about Bibleline, join us again tomorrow and we hope that you’ll have a wonderful day today, God bless you and I’ll be back again tomorrow.
