They’re the Scofield Bible is what I recommend, and it is incredible. That’s the old Scofield. If you go out to your bookstore, they’re gonna try to save the new one, which is watered down and is really inferior.

You don’t wanna get that one. You wanna get the 1909 or 1917 edition. That’s exactly what we stock. And they’re getting harder to get, and you just don’t see them out in the bookstore anymore, But the New Orleans ad notes that are not by Dr. Schofield, they water down the old notes so that they’re not the same and not as powerful. And you just don’t want to get the newer Schofield Bible. In fact, they even change the text of the scripture.

And sometimes they tell you when they do it and other times they don’t. So don’t recommend the new Schofield at all. The new and now is called, it’s like a hybrid. I think it’s go for number three. Don’t get that. You want to get the old. We have it here, you can call and ask. You can look at the resource center online, BibleLineMinistries.org. We’re teaching second Peter right now, and tomorrow night, Tuesday night, we’re going to be teaching class five and six.

And for three Tuesdays now, including tomorrow night, we’ll finish up 10 hours of teaching on second Peter. This is a great series. The water is so beautiful and full of life, and people come there from all over the world of Scuba, Diamon, Jetsky, and Waddersky, and enjoy the beaches and the sunshine, and then we’ll go on over to the Rock City of Petra, and we’ll then drive into Israel.

We’ll meet the group that’s only going to do Israel, flying in from the States, and we’ll We’ll be together then as a group for the 10 days in Israel. We just got back from my 15th trip, and we had a wonderful time. Everybody enjoyed it. And of course, the highlight of course is the Hill of Calvary and the Tomb of Christ.

We’re going to get into the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to go ahead and answer our questions from the author and from the live callers and so you’re welcome to call in and get on the line with us. The number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. What a turn to the prophet Hosea for just a minute. And in the prophet Hosea, there’s an interesting hint as to when Jesus will return. It says here in verse 15 of chapter 5 of Hosea, and I believe it is a prophetic utterance here of Christ.

And it’s exactly like the words he spoke in the New Testament. He says, I will go and return to my place till they acknowledge their offense and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me early. Here it tells about Jesus leaving after being rejected. It is first coming and that he would return back to heaven to his place till they, the Jewish people would acknowledge their offense, that is rejection of Christ as they rejected him and then it says here until they seek my face they want a seat on the side of come and I believe that will happen during the tribulation period and it says in their affliction will they seek me early and here talks about affliction prior to and I think we’ve already seen that in around the world Jewish people being afflicted in particular during World War II six million

Jews being killed by Hitler in his extermination camps. Chapter 6 verse 1 goes on to say, the Jewish people’s cry, come and let us return unto the Lord. The Jewish people have returned back to the state of Israel and became a nation in 1948. This year they’ll be celebrating their 60th anniversary. That’s right, Israel has been a nation now for 60 years. Wow. And so it’s interesting that we’re coming up on the end of a whole generation. If a generation is 70 years, then we’ve got 10 more years to see that conclude.

And Christ would come back in the generation that would be living when Christ would become a nation again. So maybe we’re getting very, very close. I think we are. I really believe we’re getting close. And here the Jewish people will cry out, and this is bitter cry, come and let us return unto the Lord, for he hath torn, and he will heal us, he hath snitten, and he will bind us up.” So here it talks about the affliction that the Jewish people have gone through, and what happened with Hitler and in Europe, in World War II obviously caused the beginning of the existence of the state of Israel.

The world was shocked when they discovered the concentration camps and the Holocaust was unveiled. And in 1947, the United Nations voted unanimously. That’s that, unanimously, for the State of Israel to be founded and they took the land that was controlled by the British from World War I and divided it and allowed the State of Israel to be established. And then it says here in verse 2, this is the remarkable verse. If you have your Bible open to Hosea chapter 6 verse 2, if not, go back and look at it.

Later it says, after two days will he revive us? In the third day he will raise us up and we shall live in a sight. What is saying here is after two days the Jewish nation would be revived and in the The third day he would live in our sight. It says in the third day we shall live in this sight. Now we know the length of that third day. That’s the millennium. When the Jewish people will be back in the state of Israel and Christ will come back as their king and rule and reign over this earth and rule over the Jews as the king of the Jews.

over all that rest of the world is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Wow! So if we know the length of the third day, a thousand years, then obviously the length of the first two days also must each be a thousand years. So what it’s saying here in Hosea chapter 6 and verse 2 is after two thousand years will he revive us? And in the third thousand years he’ll raise us up and we shall live in his sight.

Oh my goodness, Jesus of course in Matthew 23 says exactly the same words that we read in chapter 5 verse 15 of O’Zea that he says I’m leaving, I’m going. Now I’m going to return to my place. That means he’s been here and then he will return to his place till they acknowledge their offense and seek my face. And here we come up on the end of the age and that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Christ will return and they will be raised up and live in his sight.

We’re at the end of the 2000 years right now. And today’s date is 2008. Can you imagine? After 2000 years, the Jewish people would be revived. They would be raised up and live in a site for a third thousand years, which is the millennium. Well I’m Dr. Anker, this is Bible and I hope you’re a believer because if you’re not a believer, you’re troubled. You’ll be left behind for the darkest hours of human history, which are about to happen here on this earth and we can see it coming as you read the headlines every day.

I’m leaving at the Rapture and if you are a believer you’ll be leaving at the Rapture also and we’ll meet in the air and I’ll be glad to give you a high five on the way up. I’m looking forward to it and it could be and I’m not a date setter but it could be he would come this year. Wouldn’t that be something? The Lord could snatch this out and as soon as that happens the church age will have ended which began at Pentecost and ends the Rapture.

And then the seven years of fibrillation that the Bible talks about in so many portions of the Bible will then be underway. And during that time, the Antichrist will rise the power, and Jesus will come back at the end of the seven years and defeat him and set up his kingdom and rule and reign here on this planet. Good morning, Dr. Lynch. Good morning. I want to know if this is in the Bible. And can you tell me where it is at the end? Tastes the bread upon the water. Yeah, it is in the Bible. And it’s in the Old Testament. Maybe one of our listeners could look it up real quick.

I can’t recall exactly the chapter in verse. But if you’ll keep listing this morning, I’m sure somebody will call right back with that answer. Okay, thank you. And that is Esther Colleen from Chattanooga, Tennessee. We’re on, I believe, four times a day up there in Chattanooga at 10 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, 10 at 9 in 40 in the morning. Okay. My question is, he’s talking about the end of time when tribulation or when Jesus is going to come back to get the ones that are saved. And I was reading, I believe it’s in Matthew, I don’t have my Bible in front of me, but it talks different signs and wonders, rumors and words and things like that. Then it goes on to say, don’t relation spoken of by Daniel Laplace. What do you think about that? Well, of course. And that’s talking about during the tribulation period that the Antichrist will go into a third temple that will be rebuilt during the tribulation period after the rapture.

By the way, the preparations have been made already. We were just in Israel and we saw the implements for sacrifice. We saw the menorah for the temple. The stones have been cut. Gershah and Solomon have been cut off. Organization has been cutting stones for over 40 years and they are ready to go. They can put that thing up at about 48 hours. In the middle of the tribulation, the antichrist will come into that temple, stop the sacrifices that will have been resumed according to Daniel chapter 9, and he will place an image of himself.

And then the last three and a half years of the tribulation period will commence. It says, for then shall be great tribulation. As was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor shall there be, Matthew 7, 22, 21 and 22. And then Chris will come back. The first one is the end of the world. It should read the end of the age and the Greek. That’s what it should read. And the end of the age will be the end of that tribulation period.

And then Christ will establish His kingdom here on the earth. Okay, but my understanding is Christ comes and takes the ones that already saved, right? And then this happens and then He comes back again to set up His kingdom of that, how it works. That’s correct. And during the seven years, millions will get saved. God is going to send back two Old Testament prophets. Moses and Elijah will come back and they will preach during the first three and a half years and it says in Matthew, Revelation 7 and 9, and I saw a great multitude which no man can number of all nations and kinens and tongues which become saved in the seven years.

And so we find that when Christ comes back seven years after the Rapture, there will be millions of believers and it’s those believers who will enter into the kingdom. Yeah. Okay. We have Linda in Tampa, Florida, and the Linda, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the Earth. Hey, Holly. Hi. You’re on the Earth, Linda.

Hi. Thank you for taking my call. I’m wondering what is the best way to witness to a Jewish woman? Okay, well again you need to use the scriptures and what I would do is use a couple of the Old Testament passages. For example Isaiah 53 tells about the crucifixion that talks about how Christ would be wounded for our transgressions. He would be bruised for our equities, the chastisement of our peace would be upon him and with his stripes we would be healed.

Verse 6 goes on to say in Isaiah 53, all we like sheep have gone astray. We’ve turned everyone to his own way and the Lord has laid on him that is on Jesus the iniquity of us all. So there you have the payment that Christ would make and there’s so many details in that chapter of the first coming of Christ including the fact that he would be done before his accusers like as sheep are dumb before their shearers and that he would be cut off out of the land of the living.

He would die to pay for our sins that God would be satisfied with the sacrifice of Christ as the full payment for our sin. And you’d be crucified with other transgressors, the two thieves there, and you’d be buried in a rich man’s tomb. All of that is right in that chapter. It’s pretty powerful. But I like to ask Jewish people this question. Here is your blood sacrifice because right this first gown, it says in Leviticus 1711, the life of the flesh is in the blood.

And I’ve given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that is the psalm. The Jewish people have not offered a blood sacrifice for 2,000 years since the first temple was destroyed. And so Moses taught Leviticus 1711 that it was only the blood that would be able to make an atonement for their soul. So say how in the world can you get your sins paid for? Since you have no blood sacrifice and it’s only the blood that will take away your sin.

And of course the correct answer is that Jesus came and won’t take away the sacrifices of Israel ceased because the sacrifice that God offered that is the one that you must trust and to be saved has now taken place. So you can connect the dots for them and point out that their sacrifice has been offered once for all people, for all time, the Lord Jesus Christ, and they need to trust in Him. That’s a little bit of a beginning on that.

We have a great book here called Handbook on Personal Evangelism that just has a whole chapter on how to talk to these people about Christ. But you might want to get that and it’s, we can just ship it right out to you. But that’s a little bit of a hint. I would go to a couple of the Old Testament passages and talk about Christ and don’t overload them with too much, but give them something to think about and then continue to dialogue and hopefully it’ll sink in and they’ll trust the Lord.

Just quickly, I’m a fundist gold teacher and I do use the Schofield Bible that you recommend and I have to do as an award and have rather being taught that well, I didn’t think that was correct but I want to.

No, it’s not. And it’s interesting how they always try to find a sneaky way to do anything. But if you look at John 637, it says, him the company I want to know what he can do. Usually you can come with that. They say, okay, all right, he won’t cast me out, but as you just mentioned, they say, I can cast myself out if I don’t want it anymore. I can turn my back on God and walk away. That is not possible for numbers of reasons, but in verse 39, Jesus says, this is the Father’s will which has sent me, and of all which have given me, I should lose none, not one, but raise them all up again at the last day.

So Jesus keeps us saved and he says he would not lose one. So if one person were ever saved and then became lost, Jesus would be a liar. The Word of God would be wrong and obviously we might as well as a lot of matches in the Bible and walk away. But Jesus will not lose one single person that has come to him. And also Hebrews 13.5, Jesus says, I will never leave you. Nowforestation means never. So if somehow you did wind up going to hell, Jesus would have to go to hell with you.

That’s just not going to happen. You said McAuliffe chapter 6 verse 37, one book was that in? John 6 37 and then the better one is verse 39 where he said he would not lose one person that has come to him and become saved. So once you’re saved, you’re stuck. I tell people to have more than you like it or not. Yeah, I mean, I break my heart, but they’re deeply immersed in a book that they’re using as a Bible study by someone who apparently is very popular with this concept that you can do all kinds of things to earn crowns and of that sort, but that you personally can turn your back and lose your salvation when I heard that come out of their mouth about died.

I know. it’s not because really they’re trusting in their works are really saying that how they continue their life until their death whether they remain faithful and do it and whether they do not turn their back on god determines whether they’re saving up that makes them the same you’re not christ and so therefore i don’t believe they’re safe I’m really scared because these are just a very devoted couple that have been in a church all their life. And now at age 50 have joined another church.

There are no other churches. I’m not going to be using apparently in congregation. And when they just come to that, I just could not believe my years. and and thank you for being there i was having a great day come but You know, it’s too bad that the whole Church will study a book when the greatest book in all the world is the Word of God. And you can’t do better than the Bible. And I find that I can never exhaust what is taught in the Bible.

We can never run out of things to say. This is such an incredible book that you can study in all of your life and never really fully gain all that God has. I’ve got to say goodbye to Miami. You were talking about that several days ago. you were mentioning that you thought the little horn was America.

I’ve noted that a nation, and I believe it’s the Antichrist, that they are so connected that they’re seen as the, both of them as the little horn, and it seems to imply there by the little horn and animal that’s younger than the older ten horns, which obviously Europe has been around for over two thousand years, but we’re the young upstart nation that is the little horn that is younger than and stronger than Europe that has been birthed by Europe and i think we’re the only country in the world that could meet that description so i believe yes indeed we are the little horn i agree with you and i was wondering if that’s the case it talks about and i wonder if i could have possibly been Britain france and spaines to stay with the three countries that were relying for control of america when it was deformed i think it’s future i think in the tribulation period

we’re going to take over europe by military force and we’ll take over three countries and if you want to do something fun fun go on the internet and google and put in the letter u and put in the letter I’ll rather E and then the letter U, European, EU 3, and those three things in EU and 3, and you’ll come up with tons of websites and talk about the three key players in the European common market are Britain and France and Germany.

And that’s where our military is. And so it would be easy for an American president, if he became the Antichrist, to just say, take them. And those three countries will fall over their knees at a heart rate. The rest of Europe say, we give up and we would take over Europe in a heart rate. andom conclud I thinkRuss. I know I was reading, I believe Isaiah 48, and it’s speaking on, you know, her, believe not having children and there would be a widow and things of that nature.

And I was wondering because there’s this new meva church that Oprah had. And I’m looking at it, I watched it on the internet and everything that the woman of Babylon is saying is like, she’s very much, you know, sounded like Oprah. I’m kind of like, I think a lot of people are like, is this real? Or, you know, could you kind of touch on that? Do you know what I’m saying? The verse that I’m speaking on, making the right book?

Okay, thank you so much. Yeah, Isaiah tells us in chapter 13 that the city of Babylon would never be rebuilt, but the system of ancient Babylon would continue on and be seen primarily in the Western nations, which is here, and that the religious system and the political system and the system of commercialism and selling and merchandising and so upheavant is all around today. And I think that is the Babylon of the End Times, which will be destroyed at the Battle of Armageddon Presbyterians.

And obviously this religious system has many different forms as it says in Revelation 18 that this woman that we’ve been talking about a little bit is really the mother of all harlots and all false religious systems. So they all kind of spring forth from that. STATS OF THE WENTFRIE IS DINING JESUS CHRIST as being the Savior, the only way to heaven. And obviously this is a false religious system. And apparently a lot of people are going to fall for it and that’s unfortunate.

But unfocused. But it’s a part of the in-time deception. As Christ said, let no man deceive you by any means. And that’s exactly what we see today. Lots of deception, lots of rejection and denial of the scriptures, but the scriptures are going to come to pass and I’m afraid all those that reject Christ are going to be eternally lost and that’s really unfortunate. They claim that they are the true descendants of Abraham. , The Hebrew Israelites, they do both the Old andunte testament, but they misinterpret the Bible a lot because the enslavement of the Hebrew is the spoken of in Genesis. They try to twist and turn that and say that that was fulfilled by the Africans being taken from their own Africa African homeland and ball over to America.

They say that that was fulfilled and And my question to them is well, that’s a good question. And then you have another nation that’s spawned by Europe that is the 11th nation and this is the development of this Babylonian system in the West in that image.

And when the image would be complete, which is now with Europe and America on the scene, it would stand up and it says it would stand up on its base which is back in the Middle East. So America’s feet are back in Iraq and that’s where of course ancient Babylon was. I just don’t know where in the Bible it says that a demon can’t enter someone that has the Holy Spirit. Okay, first John 4, and 5 say that, great as he that is in you, that he that is in the world, that he that is Satan.

So we know that Satan is obviously not going to want to dwell in the same body where God the Holy Spirit involves. And so obviously he’s not going to come into the body of a Christian. So that’s 1 John 4 4, greater than you, that’s the Holy Spirit, than he’s Satan that’s in the world. So a demon or Satan does not want to be in the same presence in the same body as that where the Holy Spirit is. So I think there you have your answer.

Okay, we’re now going to go to, let’s see here. We have Keith in Richmond, Virginia, and Keith talked about it when you’re on the air. Yes, Doc. Dr. Linscomb, I have a question for you. I’ve been a Christian for probably more than half my life. I recently have a job right now that I’m actually in a management position. I actually have a learning disability. I was a post-bod gentleman who was the store manager for all the positions. They feel my math and math is I’m struggling at the job.

If there’s no sense, I’m still in the job. learning. Is there any spiritual reference to the academic guidance what I should feel try to keep the position on schedule? I think you ought to continue as long as you can if that’s what your desire is. Just give it your best shot. That’s the Lord to help you. The Lord can really help you with your skills. I believe that if you start memorizing Scripture, even it helps your ability to memorize and maintain and think logically.

So start memorizing the scriptures and also ask the Lord to help you. And it says in Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge Him. He’s going to direct your path and heal it in which direction to go. But I think let the Lord do something in your life there to be able to give you the maximum as to the skills and talents he’s given you.
