Providing real answers to an ever searching world. Got a question? Dial toll free at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here’s the host of Bibleline, Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Well, good morning and welcome to Bibleline great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. We look forward to being with you each and every day Monday through Friday as we come to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church.

And we’re excited about being with you today. It’s Wednesday and right now this program is streaming to the internet. You can catch it on the internet right now live and also as often as you like as it will go into archive and probably be around for about two years and you can listen to it as often as you like and at your convenience. Don’t forget also on our internet site you can get our worship services, our television programs, our online bookstore.

Everything is there for you to take a look at and I hope you will. If you haven’t visited our online bookstore you might want to do that or come by and visit our resource center right here at our headquarters at 4811 George Road. open until about 4.30 every day. People come by from all over, and if you come in from out of town, please come by and say hi. We’d love to meet you, and of course if you want to come by on a worship day, you’re most welcome to join us for our Sunday worship, or our Wednesday night worship, and you’re welcome to come by and do that.

This coming Tuesday will have the last two hours of our class on 2 Peter. We’re teaching at two hours per Tuesday and we’re now at class next week, class 9 and 10. We’ll finish the 10 hours on Peter. This has been a great series and we’ve done first Peter. That’s complete and you can order that CD or DVD set on first Peter. And after next Tuesday, second Peter will be concluded. And what a great series as the Apostle Peter speaks under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

And if people only the day would go to see what Peter says and taught and follow those teachings. They would be right on target. But amazingly, what Peter has said is ignore it apparently because we have driven far away from that. Anyway, 2nd Peter will be finished next Tuesday night and you’re welcome to come sit in the classroom if you live in driving. This has come sit in to be my guest from 7 on Tuesday night a week from last night.

If you have your Bible there, get it out. We’ll be talking about the Bible here for a few minutes, and then we’ll go ahead and take our call. You can call in if you’d like at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Give us a call. We want you to know that we have some wonderful specials special in our resource center. We have the Schofield Bible in Spanish. That’s right. If you want to get just the Spanish text and the Schofield notes in Spanish, you can order that.

But we also have one that is English and Spanish, Schofield. On the left side of the page, it’s English with the Schofield notes. And on the right side of the page, it’s The Spanish text with the Schofield notes, these are beautiful. They are wonderful. And if you speak Spanish, or if you kind of dabble in both languages and not very proficient, this is an excellent way to compare and to learn and to get better to English than your Spanish.

But you have the Schofield notes at your disposal, which is wonderful. So you can get the Scofield Bible with just Spanish and Spanish Scofield notes, or you can get it with English and Spanish, and these are beautiful. We also have, of course, the Scofield Bibles, and that’s the Bible I recommend. We have the 1909 and 1917 editions. The newer ones that you’ll buy in your bookstore are not the right ones to get. They’ve changed the text of the scripture.

They’ve added the notes that are not by Dr. Schofield. They’ve watered down the old notes so they’re not as potent and you’re really getting something inferior. So you’ll want to get the old Schofield. It’s very difficult to find out there on the street in the Christian bookstores. You can find them right here though at Bibleines bookstore and resource center. And of course you can call me and ask for a resource sheet to be sent to you or you can go online and look at all the things that we have there.

Plus we have this of my teachings, about 40 different ones. And of course we just finished the Gospel of John. What a wonderful series that is, and we have that in two parts because it’s about 20 hours of teaching. So the first part is 10 hours, and the second part is 10 hours, and you can get it in parts because it’s lengthy. But verse by verse, we go through that wonderful Gospel of John, and it’s available on DVD, as well as CD.

and you can either get the DVD and play it on your DVD player and watch and hear and listen as you go through the class or you can get just the CDs and play them in your car and your home and learn from those. We also have of course the book of Revelation, the book of Daniel, the book of Romans, the book of Hebrews, the book of Jude and so many more. You’ll want to get them and of course Fierce First Peter is complete and ready and Second Peter will be ready sometime next week.

If you have your Bible there, open it, if you will, to Mark chapter 3. Mark chapter 3. Here we have the unpardonable sin. It says here in Mark chapter 3 in verse 28, Jesus says, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies werewith soever they shall blaspheme, but he shall will bless him against the Holy Spirit, hath never forgiven us, but is in danger of eternal damnation. What is this sin? And of course a lot of people get nervous when they read about this particular sin and you might want to look at it too.

Mark chapter 3 verse 28 and 29. Some have imagined that the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is to curse using the name of the Holy Spirit. But you know, I’ve never heard anybody do that ever in my life. I’ve heard people curse and take the name of Jesus in vain And the name of God in vain, but I’ve never heard anybody maybe stub their toe or hit their finger with a hammer and say Holy Spirit have you ever heard that?

I’ve never heard it done. So obviously that’s not not the sin and others have imagined that it’s something that could cause you to lose your salvation. It’s not that at all. This is talking to a lost group. Jesus had healed in the context here a man that was blind and dumb so that he both spake and saw. The religious leaders couldn’t deny the healing, but they did reject who Christ claims to be that is the Messiah the Savior God in flesh, and so they said yes, he heals.

But he does it by the power of Satan, not by the power of the Holy Spirit. And so what the sin against the Holy Spirit turns out to be is the rejection of Christ to say that Christ healed by Satan’s power, that he was not the Messiah, that he was not the Savior, that he was an imposter, a fraud, a counterfeit, a straw, a deceiver, and not the Messiah the Savior, the Son of God, the One who could bring you salvation.

And the answer here is so clear in Mark’s Gospel, if you have your Bible open, look at verse 30. It says here in verse 29, He that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit have never forgiven us, but is in danger of eternal damnation because they said, because they said, here’s the answer, verse 30, because they said, He Christ hath an unclean spirit. So it was really to say that Christ had a demon or Satan using the power of Satan to heal and not the power of the Holy Spirit.

So that was the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. To attribute the works of Christ to Satan and not to the Holy Spirit was the blasphemy. It’s actually a rejection of Christ. It’s the same as that of unbelief. When you die, if you die as an unbeliever, you will go to hell. You will not enter heaven, and there is no second chance. But if you trust Christ as your Savior while you are living, before you die, you will go to heaven.

And in John 3, he and Christ makes the same unpardonable sin clear that it is a rejection of Christ. He says, in John 3, he that believeth on the Son, it says, is not condemned. and he the belief that not the sun is condemned already.” The answer is because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. There are two groups in this world, those that believe and those that believe not. Those that have trusted Christ, those that have not trusted Christ, John 3, 18 are not condemned.

Now, nor forever in the future. Those that have not believed on Christ, the Bible says are condemned already. They’re already condemned, they’re already headed for hell. Why? Because they have not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God. You see, Jesus, when He died, paid for every imaginable sin that you could ever commit. And Jesus says that in John, rather in Mark 3, 28, all sins, Jesus says, barely I say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men.

And blasphemies, wherewith, soever they shall be asked Him. So every sin you could ever commit your whole lifetime was taken by God and laid upon Jesus Christ at the cross and He paid for them in full by His death at the cross. Then we find that if you reject that provision that Christ made though, then you’re going to be in deep trouble because there’s only one way that your sins might be forgiven. Your works won’t do it, your church membership won’t do it, what are baptism will not do it.

you can name or do. We’ll get rid of your sin. There’s only one Savior Christ. He’s the only remedy, the only provision that God has given for your sin. If you reject Him and hear the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit is a rejection of Him by saying that He’s not who He claims to be. He is not the Savior. He’s not the Messiah. He’s an imposter, a fraud, a counterfeit, a charlatan, a seaver and He heals, but He does it by the power of Satan.

And so it says He that shall blast him against the Holy Spirit have never forgiven us, but is in danger is in danger of eternal damnation. That means he still can change his mind before he dies and trusts the Lord. He’s in danger of eternal damnation because if he dies rejecting Christ, he’ll go to hell. And the answer is verse 30. Write it down. Mark it down. Mark 3.30 says, because they said, because they said, because they said, because they said, he Christ has an unclean spirit.

If you reject the person of Christ, if you say he’s not God who took on flesh, if you say that he’s just a man but he is Satan as the power to heal people, then you’re rejecting the person of Christ and the Bible says you’re in danger of eternal damnation. But just as the dying thief trusted Jesus Christ in his dying moments hanging there on the cross and was saved. So you could change your mind before you die and become saved.

But my friend, I wouldn’t waste another minute because it could be that you could be killed suddenly. You could die suddenly and you would not have time to put your trust in Christ as Savior. And so certainly you don’t want to risk that. So you need to trust Christ wherever you are right now. I would just suggest this prayer. Just tell the Lord, Lord, I am a sinner. I recognize that I have done things wrong. But I trust Jesus Christ right now as my Savior, as my only hope of heaven, as the one who died to forgive my sins and paid for them in full by his death at the cross, by his death and and blood was buried and rose again from the dead.

I trust Jesus Christ right now to save me and God will save you. It’s the most wonderful truth you’ll ever hear and the moment you trust the gospel message, the message of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ, God saves you and you become his eternally. And wow, that is obviously good news. And so all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and all blasphemies were with soever they shall blaspheme. But if you reject Christ by saying that Christ is not God who healed in the flesh, in the human body that he took on by the power of the Holy Spirit, if you say he is an imposter, he is not the Savior, then you are in danger of eternal damnation.

it says here in the text in Mark 330, because they said, He Christ, half an unclean spirit. Well, you know, this passage is bright in some because they’ve gotten a wrong explanation as to what this is all about. But the Bible is quite clear here in this passage in Mark that it’s a rejection of Christ, because they said He Christ had an unclean spirit. to attribute the works of Christ. To Satan and not to the Holy Spirit is the blasphemy.

It’s a rejection of Christ. It’s a denial that he is the Savior, the one that had been promised by the prophets and came and died for you and me. But when you trust him, then you’re saved forever. And there’s no chance that you can ever commit this sin once you’re saved. Because once you’re saved, you’re saved forever. Christ will never cast you out. John 637. He’ll never lose you. John 639. saved and saved forever. I tell people you’re stuck.

You’re stuck. You have to go to heaven whether you like it or not. Well, we’re going to go to the phone lines here. Our phone number by the way in headquarters is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. We would love to hear from you. Just got a nice note here from a young man in the military and he’s telling us how that he has been able to lead a number of guys to Christ in the service. He said his roommate is a Russian, $\ got saved last week when he shared the gospel with him and he’s talking to people left and right and that’s exciting and he writes a letter thanking us here at Bibleline for the part we had in teaching him how to do that.

He says here that people everywhere astonished it by ability to find and talk about any subject in the Bible. Well thanks to you all there at Calvary Community Church in Bibleline headquarters it’s something we take for granted. But for the rest of the world it’s the power of God. And so God is Using people that are listening to and hearing the word of God through Bibleline and we’re excited about that We’re going to go to Nathaniel down in Belgrade, Florida and Nathaniel Welcome to Bibleline you were on the air Nathaniel are you there?

Yes, sir. All right. You’re on the air. Go ahead. Yes sir. Yes, sir Yes, sir. I’m here don’t listen to the radio because it’s 20 seconds behind you have to be filled by the phone No, visit it, okay? Chapter 7 of Hebrews and then Chapter 14 of Genesis. Yes, I read that to Sir. Charles H. D. Do you H. F. Thank you. H. A. L. F. You know, she said the genealogy, you know, said when you had no mother, no father, you said that they didn’t have a record genealogy to get explained at the me, sir.

Well, I think he’s wrong. Well, I think he’s wrong. Hebrew’s Chapter 7 is quite clear that he had no father, and no mother. He didn’t have a genealogy record of his mother and father, but he had no father and mother. He is as no beginning nor end of days. I mean obviously he’s lived eternally and Notice he’s made like end of the Son of God. So this is clearly Christ There’s no doubt about it and the passage here in Hebrews chapter 7 Says that in his plus his names are the same as the names of Christ He is the king of peace.

That’s who Jesus is he is According to verse 3 of Matthew of Hebrew 7, he is without father, he doesn’t have a father, not without a genealogy, without a mother, he doesn’t have a mother, without descent. So there is no genealogy, descent would mean a genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life. So he didn’t have a start and didn’t have an end. Christ is the eternal Son of God, can be none of them in him. And then it says here clearly in verse 3, He is made like unto the Son of God and he abrides the priest continually.

No, Kestic, I believe is without a doubt, God and flesh the Lord Jesus Christ in a pre-incarnated appearance of Christ in the Old Testament. Hope that helps. If you reveal, all right, thank you. Okay, you can’t believe all those commentaries you read. Many of them are wrong and you have to realize that I have to rely on scripture not to commentaries we have brother at well in for them to support brother at well welcome to my one good morning morning I’m reading out UME, I have a 7th chapter over here in the sequence of the last 9 and I felt I needed to call this because you know there’s a judgment coming to America and people don’t realize fixing to happen here Okay.

Because I’m going to tell you why now, you know, after a long time, you know, Jesus said if you have ears, but I’m going to tell you something, we’re fixing the sea to advance. What album? You better get your kids. Go in there and massacre over two to three million of our children. You already know about it. It’s already, it’s not if it’s going to happen. It’s not another thing. who’s there bro uh… uh… it’s going to be perpetrated latino gang uh…

m m s thirteen i’ve never had a lot of going to our schools and my sister between two and three million of the children you can take it to the bank and i’m going to tell you something else if you’ve been listening to what uh… is going on in my churches or how to hate against white man There’s going to be war in the streets, my friend. This gentleman is running for office with a anti-pright spirit. Will be assassinated.

And there’s going to be trouble like you’ve never seen. Wow. No. Well I know brother, well we’re living in the end times then obviously there are things that are happening around the world right now that leads to believe that and especially today I heard that Israel apparently is making plans to give back the goal of the heights which is absolutely suicide for Israel and I think that we are seeing the end time things are unfolding before our very eyes and it’s a it’s a crazy world and no doubt about it and and of course it is equal seven that you mentioned here talks about people casting their silver and gold in the streets because you won’t be able to buy anything and i think uh…

that’s one of the major things i think you were i thought you’re headed toward a financial collapse of the Ezekiel talks about but definitely harder times than and difficult times and i’m glad i’m leaving at the rapture and it could be this year on the dateseter but it could be this september that’s when the rapture would happen whatever year it happens because it’ll probably fall on the feast of trumpets which i think is september twenty nine or thirty uh…

in this year slides back and forth for polluter calendar but we thank you for that call brother at well and uh… thank you for uh… learning us we’re we’re definitely in a time that is a rapidly changing in and uh… this food shortages Already I’m hearing of different companies, joining again to extend a Wall Street Journal this morning said that maybe we ought to stockpile some food. Because if the truckers go on strike, our grocery shelves could go empty.

And you might have a temporary shortage or it could be even more long term. So these are things to be concerned about right now in our role with the field prices rising so quickly as they are at the pumping for the truckers. There is another 50 cents or 75 cents higher than what we’re paying for just regular gas. Thank you for that call. And we now have some author questions. Let me just take one real quickly here. We have anonymous in Tampa, Florida.

And it says here in Psalms 3721, It says the wicked borrows that does not pay back. But the righteous is gracious and gives. What happens if a Christian cannot pay? Well, obviously if you can’t pay your bill, you can’t pay your bill. But usually the believer, when they can, then go ahead and they try to take care of that debt. Let me say goodbye to Miami. Miami, I’m good to have you on board every day. God bless all of you down there.

We look forward to being with you daily and again, pray for us. And if you can, support Bible. We need your help to be able to continue your airtime down in South Florida. We have now Keith. He’s calling in from Lakeland, Florida and Keith, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. I was in mind that I think a couple quick questions in the old testament, the sacrificial system, were all the animal sacrifice male and then did they have some kind of sacrifice daily everyday and I’ll hang up with them.

All right. I think the answer, I’m not too sure about whether all the animals were male. I don’t think so, but I’ll have to, I can take a fresh look about that. There were sacrifices usually offered all the time, but the main sacrifice was once a year the High Priest would take the blood and go into the Holy of Holies and apply the blood on the mercy seat. And that of course was a picture of Christ paying for our sin.

And according to the Bible Christ took his blood up to heaven and applied it on the mercy seat in heaven, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews 9 tells us in verse 12 that not by the blood of bulls and goats but by his own blood. and once in the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. So in any case, that I hope helps a little bit with that and we’ll have to go back and do some further study whether the male or female animal she is in the sacrifice.

I think so. Alright, we’re going to have to go to break here. Time goes by so quickly and we’ll come back and do a second and a half hour of Bible ends. Keep your radio tuned right where it is and maybe call a friend and tell him to join you as they listen to the second half hour. Right now on the internet if you want to go there to BibleLineMinistries.org and click on the spinning globe and you’ll catch the radio program.

You can catch it any time of day or night if you go to the internet which is great. Here we go. We’ll go to our break and we’ll come back in just a moment with the second half hour. So stay tuned. Don’t Go Away Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. All right. I’m Dr. Invencerman. It’s great to be with you today. Thanks again for tuning into the broadcast. And again, we want to remind you of our Resource Center.

We have some wonderful books by Dwight Pentecost, a great writer. And we’ve got books on some of his commentaries on different New Testament books, the book of Hebrews, Colossians, 1 John and so on. And we have his book called Things to Come, which is a classic on prophecy. That is one of my favorites. Call Things to Come by Dwight Pentecost. That is a jewel, a gem to have in your library, especially if you like to study prophecy and you want to get the different odd positions outlined for you.

outline for you and what the correct position is, what the Bible really says. He was a great teacher and I know you’ll want to get some of these and we have them here in our Resource Center. We also have the Scoville Bible which I recommend so highly. If you don’t have one, you might want to get one. It’ll help you really become clarified and straight. A lot of Bibles, the nuts really wind up contradicting themselves. They’ll say one thing in one place and another thing in another.

And if you go very far, you might become discouraged and decide that, hey, you can’t figure out what the Bible is saying. I don’t remember that experience as a brand new believer. And so you really need something solid and that’s consistent throughout. And the Scofield’s notes and the chain linking different passages together is accurate and you’ll want to have a good reference Bible. And I think it’s the finest that there is. We have it here, and we have the edition, which is the 1909 or 1917, which is the one that I recommend.

The newer ones have been watered down and changed, and I don’t think you’ll want to get those. Also, you can call us any time on our 800 number. If you haven’t given the Bible on, we could use your help, as we obviously are dependent upon our listeners to be able to stay on the air. So it’s your gifts that keep us going. I want to thank God for all of you who have given and those that are planning to give God bless you.

And it’s your gifts that keep us going. And we’re ever grateful. And we thank God for every one of you. We’re living in the last days. These are days when we really need to do all we can do for the Lord while we still have time. Because I think the time is running out. and I don’t know what year or when the crisis is coming back, but it could be this year. And it might be this. A false or the Feast of Trumpets that Christ will shout and up will go.

We’ll be out of here. So I hope you’re a believer. Otherwise you’ll be left behind. Here we go with our second half hour Bibleline. So stay tuned and here we go with a second half hour right now. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. for me. I’veavorite done my job. I’ve done my job. I’ve done my job. I ‘ve done my job. I’ve done my job too.

I’ve done my job. I’ve done my job too. I’ve done my job. So this is really what we do. Do some work for you in our research and you be comfortable with a career that just did it very good. When you work for me on my plans. You bring back to the GTI website, go to the website. You will be working to get a couple of hours in your history. So, uh, for sure, you take those steps, you will do showers in the new schedule, and then you’ll have the best effort of communicating your head and your eyes.

You’ll have to deal with your thoughts in the We know that you all are a blessing to us. We truly have a partnership relationship with our audience because we are totally supported by our listeners. It’s very, very real. We don’t have any other means of support. The Bible and program is extended out as far as we can reach with the monies that God has allowed us to have coming in from you, the audience. And as things get tighter in our country, we’re going to either have to trim back or we have to count on you even more to make up any shortfalls that there might be in giving because of…

in our country, we’re going to either have to trim back or count on you even more to make up any shortfalls that there might be in giving because of the economy and what’s happening in our world. So if you would pray for us and if you can give the Bible, that would be greatly appreciated. We’re very excited about what God is doing. We hear letters, have emails and letters all the time from people that tell us how they They have learned so much how they have gotten saved.

Several have told us that they have learned more in 30 days than they have in 30 years by listening to Bibleline. We call them all over the country and that there is an email similar on the world where people are catching Bibleline in so far in 156 countries around the world. We are excited about a new opportunity which will not cause Bibleline anything and that And as they’re taking our television programs, we’re going to translate them into Turkish and broadcast them via satellite into Turkey.

And other Middle Eastern countries will be able to receive the programs as well. So we’re excited about that. And that is in the makings. And we hope to announce to you exactly when we go on the air in Turkey by satellite. So pray for these open doors that God is opening and how God is using this program in many places. We’re excited about the station that we’re on in Massachusetts. And we’re excited about the audience listening up there. And of course, also our station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

And we’re getting callers more and more now from the Pittsburgh area that are listening to Bible and we hope that if you know people in that area you can tell them about the Bible and program there. We’re going to go now to Roseanne and Temple Terrace Florida and Rosanne welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, good morning. Pastor Linsfield. Good morning. Thank you for taking my call. Could you please tell me the gold and roll what Scriptures it is and could you please repeat it?

Well, the gold and roll per se is really not in Scripture, but the principle is there that we’re to do unto others as we have them do, do unto us. I believe you’ll find those principles in the Sermon on the Mount which is in Matthew 5, 6, and 7. So I think you’ll find it basically there. But there’s no golden rule in the Bible, but the principles of the golden rule is certainly there. So there is not a verse I could point you to, but I hope that helps a little bit.

Read Matthew 5, 6, and 7, the Sermon on the Mount and you’d find that we are to love our enemies and we’re to do good into those that fight for usus and all those kind of and ofCatal rules says do andvery Flew and you and basically the gold rule principles are there. Mot disclos. That’s Matthew 567. uyomi=] Thank you so much. I really \(\ appreciate it. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. Thank you very much. Thank you, Rosanne, in Temple Terrace, Florida.

We now have Tony in Richmond, Virginia. Tony, welcome to Bibleline your own. Good morning. I have a question Dr. Lindstrom about, I think it’s in first Corinthians, about the gifts of knowledge________________________________nder. The things in part will cease. I know you know I’m talking about there. Can you explain that? Give meachusetts explanationstem for that please. I’m in a with them. I don’t know if it’s scriptural or not if you can find the scripture court, but I’ll be able to hang out in heaven.

If you don’t think it would be really cool to like sit down and converse. If we couldn’t meet here, you know, like in heaven, me and… Amount. Yeah, that !! That would be great. I think the river of life, where the tree of life is, is probably going to be a great gathering place where we’ll get to eat in the tree of life and gather and drink water at the river of living water. I’m sure we’ll have lots of time for conversation and lots of time to enjoy one another.

As far as that passage in 1 Corinthians, we have a wonderful book in our Resource Center here called The New Testament Teaching on Tongues by Merle Unger. He exigites that whole passage there in chapter 13 of Corinthians and is really talking about the Caribbean Church. And it’s the time of infancy. It all began to come. And it talks about when I was a childLIST and so on and so on. But when I became an adult, I put away childish things.

The spectacular gift were like the toys that a child would play with. And when you get older you put them aside and you no longer need them. And so God gave some temporary gifts that aided the growth of the New Testament church as it began and among them were the gifts of prophecy and knowledge and tongues. But they were temporary in nature and they were then put away when we got the New Testament record completed, the Word of God.

And then it says that although we saw darkly beforehand, now when the New Testament record is completed we’ll see face-to-face with the Lord as we see the scriptures unveiling everything we need to know as a Christian. I love 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 17, 16 and 17. It says that the Word of God is able to completely equip us and to make usdLture as a Christian and that we don’t need anything outside of the Bible. So the Bible is not which is perfect, that it can mature the believer and completely equip us for whatever service God has for us to do.

And we thank you Tony for calling in from Richard in Virginia. We’re now going to go to Dave in St. Petersburg and Dave. Welcome to Bibleline you’readiq. you’re on the earth uh… after a uh… yeah this is uh… just a couple things uh… far you know about brother at well warning everybody it is when you know a lot of a lot of christians think that we think that we shouldn’t protect ourselves. In Luke 22, 36, even Jesus tells his disciples to go out and get a sword, to protect themselves pretty much.

They knew what they were going to run into. I know I’m sure you have a standing happy. I have a lot of people who have asked me why these things happening in the world, in our country right now. If If you go to Romans 1, 19 through the end of the chapter, it’s all basically because of the fact that we’ve turned our back on God. If you read that, I won’t go through all of them. I’ll take up your whole show here.

But just go on, listen, up. There’s this guy, Romans 1, 19 through the end of the chapter, and it tells everything that’s happening in our country right now. There’s a list of, I think, about 32 different sins and things that happen when people apart from god and we’re experiencing uh… all of that today in our headlines yeah that everything i thought you could like read the paper to read that chapter fellas point out here absolutely right on and and uh…

and we have uh… obviously tried to remove god from our society today and and we’re becoming godless in god is allowing uh… the consequences of that to come upon us uh… yes and that is one more in time thing uh… it occurred uh… yesterday that you know jimmy cardo went over and spoke to mama all in everything mama uh… came out today the greed do it ten-year peace treaty with israel now he were talking to in seven-year peace treaty so they’re starting out at ten and it will work a little bit out of that but that’s the first one definitely a sign that will do some kind of peace treaty i think so i it’s got to happen because it’s it’s uh…

it’s a boiling part of the right now it sure is well i said praise the lord i think i i feel agree with you in September. I don’t know. I’m ready. I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to put a specific date on it, but I know that the world is coming and whatever year he comes, it will probably be on the face of Trump. So maybe this is the year. It certainly is a crazy year. The way things are happening rapidly and the crime and the violence in our world, the fact that their food shortages and possible that our grocery shelves can go empty at least for a while if the trucker is shut down because they’re running negative and barely breaking even with the price of diesel fuel, there’s something’s going to have to happen here.

Well, we’re going to go now to Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida. Matthew up. The Bible mentions the Polloaks. He was an eloquent man and mighty in the scriptures. He was contending with the Jews about Jesus being the Messiah. But he had not experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit because he didn’t know about it. They had not received the Holy Spirit. I was just wondering what the difference between the baptism of repentance and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Okay, well what happened is that John preached Christ and he baptized them with a baptism that was saying that they would change their mind and believe on Christ as Savior when he came. But apparently many of those disciples didn’t do that. In Acts 19 and verse 4 you have the clearest presentation where Paul explains what John had done. It says Paul said John barely baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people. So this is what John said, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is on Christ Jesus.

And then upon explaining that, these people that Paul met here along the coast of Ephesus trusted the Lord and they did receive the Holy Spirit at that point. also with the Paulist, he was able to instruct him in the way of the Lord, even though he had only been baptized with John the Baptist, and apparently didn’t get the full picture. He certainly became a dynamic teacher and preacher after he had that explanation and he came to realize that if he trusted Christ he’d be saved.

So basically John the Baptist had a clear message but not not everybody got it right. That is oftentimes true. It’s hard to communicate sometimes when people have preconceived ideas or other things going on in their head and they miss the message. But actually John 3.36 is one of the clearest verses in the Bible. And it’s a direct quote from John the Baptist that the son of the Baptist said he the believes on the son has eternal life, but he believes not the son shall not see life, but the wrath I’m gonna bite it on him so John made it clear that there are two groups those that believe in those that believe not and the difference Whether you’re gonna have in her hell is whether not you believe on Christ or trust Christ as your Savior in order to be saved So I believe that that is the case there.

We’re gonna go now to Roland and Roland is in Tampa, Florida. Roland welcome to Bibleline you’re on the end Good morning Dr. Hallelujah. Good. I have questions that I need that you could clarify for me in regards to salvation and I was reading a couple of verses, an N.I.V.D. version of the Bible, Matthew 24 verse 10. It says that that time, many shall turn away from the faith, but then when you look at the big king’s gene version, it doesn’t say turn away from the face, it’s it means you should be offended.

And then also the other scripture is Luke 962. Because Fenrir has no man to defend to the plow. Looking back, it’s fit for the kingdom of God. And I wanted to put out whether those are along the same line where you can lose your salvation. I need to want to talk about losing your salvation which is impossible. The one in Luke is talking about somebody who’s going to pile the field has to be looking straight ahead. If you are driving your car down the road and you look off to the side or you turn your head looking back, you’ll maybe crash your car.

So, can you imagine, as a farmer, you want a real straight furrow so you can get the maximum out of the earth there by having furrows that run right alongside of one another and they’re in a straight line. But the guy who is looking back over his shoulder is probably going to wiggle all over the place and not do a very good job. And so he’s not fit for the job of being a farmer or one to plow the field.

The same thing is true, if you keep looking back as a Christian and you’re not looking ahead at what you’re doing and where you’re going and what God wants you to do, you’ll probably drive off into the ditch and you’re not fit to be a good servant of Christ. So it’s not talking about losing your salvation, but not being an effective servant for Christ. So if you’re going to be a servant of Christ, you need to be fixed on the goal of living for Christ and you need to have your eyes on the finish line which is where Christ is cheering us on waiting for us to come to meet him.

We find in Matthew 24 talking about Christians. Who would be offended and apparently maybe close their mouth. You know, hide among the hide in the closet or something or become a non effective Christian. So I was talking about believers that just aren’t going to be effective in losing their lives from the Lord. And as a believer, we’ll lose that on reward, but never lose that on our salvation. Our salvation is eternal and can never be lost, Roland. Good year.

Well, that’s clear. Thank you so much. Sorry, thank you, Roland. And now we’re going to go to Jerry in Plant City, and Jerry, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the Year. Oh, yes, sir, Brother Hill. Oh, when Moses went up, she died and he asked him, we shall have, so he sent me, and God said, tell him that, from that moment on, there’s God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. As of any time, their names, power, authority, or dominion changed from I am to I was.

And I’ll hang up and listen to your hands. Well, he had never. God has always presented as eternal. And whenever he intercepts time, he intercepts it in the present tense. So God never says I was or I shall be. He said, I am. It’s kind of interesting because God apparently operates in more than the four dimensions that you and I are operating in. We know that we are bound by time and space, but God operates outside of time and space.

So he can intercept time at any time that he wants, and whenever he does intercept time, he intercepts it in the present tense. So he’s not a, I was God or a will be God, but I am God. And let me just give you an illustration. It’s very difficult to explain dimensions upward, but we can just explain them downward. Let’s just say that we only have two dimensions to deal with and that you are a two-minute dimensional figure and we’ll call you Mr.

Flat. If I operated in three dimensions, I could come and approach you and you would never know that I was there. And if I touched you, you would know you were touched, but you wouldn’t know by whom you were touched because you’re operating in only two dimensions and I’m outside of the two and from the third dimension I could touch you at your toe or touch you on your ear and tickle you and you’d know you’d been touched, but you wouldn’t know by whom and I could intercept you at any time that I wanted to.

Well, if you just go outward a little bit and imagine that God operates outside of time, He can intercept time at any time he wants to and intercept you and be aware of everything that’s going on in your life. And yet you would not necessarily be aware of him because he can intercept you. And when he does intercept, he would come to you in the present tense because it would be at the present tense for you as he steps in from outside of time to intercept time at the time when you’re actually living.

I don’t know if that makes any sense because it’s difficult for people to conceptualize that, but that’s where God is. He can always intercept us in real time, but he intercepts us in the present tense whenever he does. We now have Dwight, and Dwight is calling in from Clearwater, Florida. Dwight, what’s going on? Hello, Hank. How are you doing? Good. I’d like to make a few comments, a few observations here. First of all, the fellow that called about the Tania Peace Treaty, people have to understand something about the Islamic culture.

There’s no such thing as a peace treaty. They have a word for it, it’s called a hoodnut. And what it is, it’s a cessation of hostilities in order for them to regain We can. He was suddenly sent to Gailin Cheaper across her borders. They were undercutting our teams’ He’s been on truckers tremendously and basically taking it competing horribly with these guys. This trucker I was talking about in California and we’re discussing trucking rates to get some items from California to here.

And he says it’s horrible. Truckers are travelling behind and loans on a truck so they can’t go home because they’re afraid that trucks will be we’ve possessed and they’re the white gypsies. They’re the one who are trying to get side jobs, anything they can get to pay the loans on the trucks. It’s horrible. And the last thing we need in this economy is competition on our own U.S. soil by the foreign national concerns. And the last thing I’d like to comment on is the go-land heights.

I don’t know what they’re thinking about where we’re there. You would think they would have learned something from Java. But if this is a real deal and they lose to Goland, this is going to encourage Muslims like you won’t believe. They’ll say that all are handed to Goland over to them. Here’s real, it’s weak. And it’s just not going to do anything for Israel. And the next thing that we need to watch for is lemme look at the whole room, then talking about dividing up these glues, and turning over complete sovereignty of the Temple Mount to the miles up.

And unfortunately, most of the pressure is coming from the State Department, commonly utilized. And it’s just these three things should concern everybody. It really, really is depressing. I think I’ll see if you have any comments on that. Yeah I think it’s a sad day. If Israel gives up the go on, they have really just cut off their head in a sense, because the Sea of Gailin, he’s such a vital source for the whole nation. in Israel is watered by the Sea of Galilee.

They take it through a national system of aqueducts and they computerize the distribution of that water. If you’re in a hotel in whatever city you’re in or in a house here, you’re drinking water from the Jordan River and from the Sea of Galilee. If they allow the golden heights to go back to Syria, they will really be in jeopardy because Syria may also get into that water source in Israel already is a strain to the limit. Plus, the strategic height of that allows them to then target any city in Israel, and of course with much more sophisticated weapons than they had back in 1967.

Israel is just a dead duck. They’ll be shot and killed from the go on heights, and they won’t be able to protect themselves because it’s just a short shot across the Sea of Galilee, and they can destroy the Israeli cities and settlements. It’s going to be tough. a tough situation. And obviously somebody is not thinking in the top levels of government to give that over. But you know the Bible does say that Israel is actually going to do herself in and make an agreement with hell itself according to Ezekiel 28.

And I think we’re watching these tragic things happen that will actually bring about the turning of many Jewish people to the Lord as they find that they are really in a rocket hard place and that they will not be delivered from the problems in this world by giving up land for peace, which is a big mistake. And God is one again coming back at the Second Coming in Judson nations for parting the land. According to Joel chapter 3 verse 2, that will be one of the crimes that God will hold the nations of the world accountable for.

that’s the slicing up and parting of the land of Israel and it’s happening before our very eyes today. I think we’re turning close to the Lord return and these are all indications of all of that. I just hope every listener has trusted Christ as Savior because the bottom line is when you die, you need to know the Lord as your Savior. The unpardonable sin is that a rejection of Christ and dying without trusting Christ as your Savior. then there is no second chance there is no part in there is no opportunity for you to ever get out of the uh…

uh… fate of going to the eternal lake of fire the eternal hell where it’ll be separated from god forever and ever and ever so i pray that every believer would just a more common center but i trust jesus as my savior as my only hope of reaching heaven and god A willing being to save you. We of course look forward to being with you the rest of the week. It will be Thursday tomorrow and Friday following and we hope that you’ll join us every day.

Well, I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and it’s been great being with you today and we thank you all for tuning in and telling your friends about the program and helping Bible and reach out to those that are lost, those that are maybe confused about what they believe, maybe are not aware of what the Bible teaches about different doctrines and hopefully we’re able to clarify and make clear some of those doctrines for those that are listening.

We’re excited about the times in which we’re living in, we know crisis coming back and some aspects of it are a little bit frightening because we know the darkest hours of human history are about to come upon the earth and it’ll be a time of great trial that will afflict everybody on the planet. But of course we know that the real judgments of the tribulation period will not occur until what we the believers have been taken out at the rapture and of course that’s the next event.

And we look forward to the return of Jesus to snatch us out, to take us up to be with the Lord and that could happen anytime, perhaps even this year wouldn’t that be something. But definitely I think we need to wake up as believers and get our Bibles out and take a look at the world around us and ask ourselves are we not living in these last days? I think we are. If you want to help Bibleline, we can use your help.

And that is a pray for us, please. And then also if you could give the Bibleline, your help would be greatly appreciated. We are simply trying to pay the bills and keep these stations on the air. And we need your help to be able to do that. Any gift is going to be greatly appreciated. And we know that any investment you make will be an investment for eternity and God will richly reward you. Somebody once said, do your giving while you’re living so you’re knowing where it’s going.

Do you know where your money will go after you die? You probably don’t, although you might make the best of plans. You can’t really count on knowing where it’s going while you’re living. And so do that. Would you help Bibleline out? Give us a call on our 800 number and you can give a gift to Bibleline. Or you can mail it in. If you want an envelope, you can ask for us to send you one. Just give us a call.

Have a great day, keep looking up and join us again tomorrow as we’ll be back tomorrow at the same time here on Bible and.
