We just finished teaching 2nd Peter. What an exciting series that was. First Peter and Second Peter, both books are hated by the liberal scholars and certainly by Satan as he really fills us in on what we should be doing, how to counter the problems we’d embraced as we enter the last days which we’re in right now.

Wow, what a great book. If you want to really be on the cutting edge, you need to be studying first and second Peter. You can get the 10 hours of teaching we have here on first Peter, the 10 hours of teaching on 2nd Peter, it’s all ready to be shipped out to you. And you can get that on CD or DVD. And a lot of folks are enjoying those DVDs. And by the way, you can get our Sunday services.

So good to be with you. We look forward to it. We’re talking about another trip to Israel. We would leave February 23rd if you would like to do the option which would include Egypt, the pyramids, the Cairo Museum, dinner crews on the Nile River, staying downtown Cairo, the largest city on the continent of Africa. What a thrilling experience it’ll be for you. And we’ll be, of course, studying the Bible throughout the trip. We’ll then go to a lot on the Red Sea.

We’ll go to the Rock City of Petra in Jordan. And then the… We’ve got one who would like to do Israel only. We’ll fly over and we’ll meet in rendezvous and do 10 days in Israel. I’d love to have you go. Call. Get your name on the list. We’re about ready to mail some information out to all those that are interested. And you’ve got time to make plans now for February of next year 2009. We’re going to get into our Bibles.

If you have a question, you can certainly call in. We have collars already sitting waiting to get up on the year. And we look forward to it. for the hearing from you as well. You know, the Word of God is incredible. In the 22nd Psalm, you have a prophecy of the crucifixion of Christ given a thousand years before Christ was ever here. That’s right. 1,000 years before He was ever here. And what is so interesting here? It tells about how in verse 16 they pierced my hands and my feet.

Wow! What an amazing, clear prophecy about Christ being crucified a thousand years before he ever came. Now no man could have done that, no man could have figured this out, no man, you know the Bible just doesn’t make mistakes. And it’s never wrong, it doesn’t contradict itself, and here it says a thousand years before Jesus ever came, that he would be crucified on the cross of Calvary, it says his hands and his feet would be pierced. That’s just one of many details.

If you jump down to verse 18, it says, they part my garments among them and cast lots upon my vesture. Wow! That’s exactly what you see happening a thousand years later. At the foot of the cross, as the soldiers gambled for the clothing of Jesus Christ. Wow! this wonderful chapter, the 22nd Psalm, tells of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ. Even the very words that Jesus spoke on the cross are here in Psalm 22 verse 1, it says, my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Well, those are the words that Christ uttered on the cross. And you know what is taking place here? Is Jesus Christ, who is the God man, fully God, fully man, as a man, he was separated from God and forsaken because of your sin and mind. What is interesting about this is that death in the Bible always means separation. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, God turned his back on Adam and Adam no longer fellowship with God in the cool of the garden.

spiritual death took place instantly. At the moment they ate of that fruit. Adam and Eve died spiritually. Physically they died many years later as they were cast out of the garden and had children and so on and then died physically. But both were part of the penalty of sin which was if they had eaten of that fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, So God says, now shall surely die. Well both died and they died spiritually first.

They were cut off from God, the word death means separation. They were separated from God and then at the end of their physical life they were separated from their bodies at death when your soul and spirit leave your body. That’s physical death. But when we enter into this world, we’re born spiritually dead. But there are two deaths that are to be paid to pay for our sin, that in Christ on the cross experienced in the same order spiritual death as he was separated from God the Father as God forsook him.

He cries out on the cross, my God, my God, why has not forsaken me? We know the answer. He was paying for your sin and mine. And so here God separated himself from the man Jesus and Christ experienced spiritual death or separation. And then a little bit later, he yields up his spirit and dies physically. So, just as Adam died spiritually, then physically Christ died spiritually and physically the man Jesus died on the cross. You know, God didn’t die.

But the man died, the human that was to be our substitute sacrifice, the sinless Lamb of God died to pay for your sins and and the 22nd Psalm hasn’t. What is so amazing is the 23rd Psalm which is such a favor to so many people is David’s own personal testimony where he says the Lord is my shepherd. David! King David, the prophet David, the psalmist David, wrote about how Christ would be crucified a thousand years before it ever takes place, giving us the very details of the words and what was taking place on the cross and gives us the death, the burial, and resurrection of Christ in the Old Testament.

A thousand years before Christ ever comes and then David tells his personal testimony, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. David was saved because he He trusted in the good shepherd that gave his life for the sheep. And as a result, he said in the sixth verse of Psalm 23, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will, and I will, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

David knew he was saved. David knew he was going to heaven. David knew he would dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever and ever and ever. Wow. And so that’s why it’s such a favorite. People would love to have the assurance that David had, but don’t. But you can have it by trusting Jesus Christ as the good shepherd that died for you as well. Jesus died not only for David, but he died for you and for me and for the sins of the whole world.

First John 2.2 says, He is the propitiation, point at the fancy word, but it means a satisfying sacrifice. It says, He Christ is the satisfying sacrifice, the propitiation for our sins. And it says, and not for our sins, but for the sins of the whole world. Jesus died for everybody. He died for you. He paid your sin done at the cross. He was buried, he rose again from the dead. When you trust that He died in your place, you as David can say, the Lord is my shepherd.

It’s personal. You could personally trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, and guess what? Receive the gift of everlasting life, and guess what? You could be assured that you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. The 24th Psalm talks about Jesus’ Second Coming when he rules and reigns on this earth as the King of Glory. Wow! The 22nd Psalm, the 23rd Psalm, the 24th Psalm all go together. The one speaks of His death. The other speaks of His present ministry to us who are believers.

And the next chapter of the 24th chapter of Psalms tells us about His feature ruling and reigning on this earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We’re getting close. Wow are we getting close. The oil in the Middle East, the price is going up, the nations are looking at that oil. And guess what? This is the trigger. This is the trigger. God said, I’ll put hooks in the jaws of the nations to draw them into the Middle East.

This price of oil is getting everybody to think about the Middle East. And guess what? The Bible says it’ll be taken over by the West. And we’re about to see these things transpire. We are living in the last days. The Middle East is going to be the place where war will take place and ultimately the Battle of Armageddon. The mother of all battles. battle that will take the life of one-third of all the people on the planet Earth. Can you imagine 9-11 killed 3,000, some maybe 3,500?

But the battle of Armageddon will kill one-third of the 6.5 billion people we have on the Earth. That means over 2 billion people will die. And if the rapture were to happen today, that would happen 7 years from right now seven years away from two billion people dying. Boy, I’m glad I know the answer to life after death. I’m glad I’m in the group that will be raptured out and not go through that terrible tribulation period. I will not be here at Armageddon.

I’m leaving it to rapture. And you could be assured of the only not to. I’m Dr. Anker Anker, we’re going to go to the phone lines. We’d like to talk to you, see what you think. If you have a question, call us and ask us that question on the year. 1-800-576-3771, give us a call here at Bibleline and we will take your question. We’re going to go to Lake Worth, Florida. We have Tim on the line and Tim, welcome to Bibleline.

You’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. How are you? Good. Okay, two quick questions. The very first one comes from John 15, 1 through 6. That makes it sound like we’re saved by works. Could you explain that? Absolutely. That’s talking about fruit bearing. It’s talking about the Christian life, not about how to be saved. You’ll notice there, Jesus says, I’m the vine and we are the branches. Verse 2 says, Every branch in me. That’s key. They phrase in me.

Every branch in me. Well, if you are in Christ, you are saved. and in Philippians 3.9, if you want to write this down as a cross-referds, it says, Be found in Him that is in Christ or in Me. He found in him in the last two words, say by faith. When you place your faith in Christ, you are found in Christ as a branch. And then you’re expected to produce fruit. And it talks about Christians and there are four categories of Christians.

There are no fruit Christians. There are more fruit Christians than much fruit Christians. So you’re either producing no fruit at all or some fruit and then some more fruit and some much fruit. And the key is, of course, is our Christian walk that we are in him and in the name of Christ. He is in us speaking about our taking in His Word and applying it in our lives and serving. And so it’s not talking about salvation, it’s talking about people that are already saved, that are branches in the vine that should be producing fruit and the four different degrees of fruit bearing that a Christian might experience.

And notice, he says in verse 16, you have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit. So it’s talking about fruit bearing after you become saved, after you become a branch in the vine. The vine is Christ where the branch is as believers. And so it snippes about that. And by the way, every believer, according to verse 16, is chosen to be a branch that would bring forth fruit.

So your responsibility in mind is to bring forth fruit and I believe that fruit is when we reproduce ourselves. If I was an apple tree I would reproduce apples. If I was an orange tree I would reproduce oranges. If you’re a Christian tree guess what? Your fruit would be a baby Christian and so as I tell people about Jesus and they trust Jesus as their Savior I am bearing fruit and every Christian can do that you can lead your own family to Christ646, you can lead your children to Christ your grandchildren to Christ your aunts uncles and nephews and nieces and wow what a thrill it is to be a branch bearing fruit and replacing yourself in the sense that when you die that there will be those who know Christ as Savior because you have born fruit spiritually in leading people to Christ.

I hope that helps out on that one. Okay, the problem I have is in verse six. Sorry? Go ahead. In verse two doesn’t bear fruit, he take it the way and then in verse six it says men gather them and cast them into fire and they are burned. Right, verse six is talking about men, gather them, not God. It’s talking about your testimony. If you are not bearing fruit, then you have no testimony and so men reject what you have to say.

And what you have to say is of no more value than a dead branch that needs to be cast on the fire and just burn up and to be gotten rid of. And so it’s not talking about loss of salvation because it’s not God casting you out. That’s impossible. John 637, Jesus said, Him that cometh to me, I will have no wise cast out. So Christ isn’t casting anybody out. It says, men cast them out. And what it’s talking here about is your testimony will be burnt up at the judgment seat of Christ and you’ll suffer the loss of reward.

It says in 1 Corinthians 3, 15, if any man’s work shall be burned, if any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss of reward, but he himself shall still be saved. So let’s talk about rewards. Okay. Secondly, I’m going to hang up as soon as I ask this, the sacrilege. Can you explain what they are, how many, how often, so forth and so on. And I’m going to hang out with the listeners. Thank you very much. Thank you, Tim.

The sacraments, the Catholic Church has invented seven sacraments. And they tell you that you can, by keeping these sacraments, earn grace, which is a contradiction in terminology. Grace by definition in the Bible is the absence of any work. And to try to say that you can work in earned grace is really a contradiction that can’t be so. You can’t have grace and works together. Grace is the absence of works. And if you attempt to be saved by works, you won’t be saved at all because you’ll have no grace.

But the Catholic Church says that through keeping the sacraments, which is works, you would earn grace, which is certainly foreign in the Bible. The Bible teaches no concept like that at all. Well, anyway, we believe there are two ordinances which Christ gave, that is the Lord’s Supper and Water Baptism. And neither one of them save, but they are pictures to us of spiritual events. You know, Water Baptism is a one-time event in the life of a believer after they become saved to give testimony that they’ve been cleansed of your sin by the blood of Christ.

Water will not take away your sin. We’re not saved by water. We’re saved by the blood of Christ. And so a believer is to, at the beginning of their Christian experience, be water baptized by immersion as a testimony that they’ve been cleansed of their sin by the blood of Christ. Then the Lord’s Supper has to do with our daily walk. And as we walk about, we defile ourselves, we sin as a Christian even. And so we need to come to the Lord and confess our sins.

And he cleanses us. in our daily walk. In the Old Testament, the priest before he could serve had to come to the labor which was a basin of water and he would wash and his feet became defiled. His hands were defiled and so he’d wash his hands and his feet and then he was ceremonially cleansed to be able to serve. So we also are cleansed when we judge ourselves and examine ourselves and come to the Lord’s Supper to have fellowship with him.

As we are in fellowship with Christ and are serving, God will bless our efforts and reward us. Thank you so much, Tim. That was Tim in East Florida on the east coast. We have Chris and Tampa. Chris, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Hello, Dr. Hank. Good morning. Hi, Dr. Hank. I just have a question. I just read a book by John MacArthur called The Truth War, and you’re talking about the emerging church. I have two questions. First is what you think about John MacArthur and his teachings as well as the emerging church, and if you could just kind of explain a couple of those things, I’ll hang up and listen to you.

Thank you, bye. Well, the emerging church, I don’t know whether John is for that or against that, but that’s part of the Rick Warren thing, this whole new ball game in the way of churches are doing. I’m hearing from people all the time that Rick Warren is not building churches but destroying them. They had a person tell me this this week that they’re deaconing their church and Rick Warren’s philosophy is you got to get rid of these older folks in the church.

They They say, what are the pillars of the church for? And they say, well, they’re the whole thing’s up, so you’ve got to get rid of them. So they try to get rid of the older generation and attract the new generation, and they use the loud music and get rid of the Bibles and the hymnals and everything’s on the Jumbotron. And you get much more of an entertainment situation than the teaching of God’s Word. And this is all about what that’s all about.

God MacArthur and I would disagree on a number of things. He’s a Calvinist, five-pointer, and he really believes and teaches that you and I have no choice at all. That God elects who’s going to be saved and who’s going to be damned. And whether you believe on Christ as Savior or not is not the way you become saved. You are elected and then overcome by God the Holy Spirit. And you believe as a consequence of being chosen and saved, not as the means of your being chosen to save.

So I believe the opposite is true. I believe you have to trust Christ in order to be saved. So he mixes because of his Calvinism, the serving Christ with salvation. The fifth point of Calvinism is called the Perseverance of the Saints and they say your life will improve, your life will get better, you will be gaining new heights every day, you will persevere in your Christian life until the day you die if you’re genuinely chosen. So in other words, if you don’t have works then they say you’re not saved or you don’t have saving faith and it really mixes works in from the back door into salvation which I totally disagree with.

So in any case if you read his book hard to believe it really is hard to believe what he says there. He says in his book that you could be faithfully serving God until the last two weeks then stop and then it would prove that you were never saved at all because you didn’t persevere till the end of your life. That is I think totally totally wrong. Thank you for tuning in. We signed off in Miami a little bit early.

We now have time maybe one more quick call. We have Linda in Lutz, Florida and Linda, we welcome you to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Linda, are you there? Uh-huh. Yeah. Go ahead. Oh. Linda, you’re on the air. Okay. Thank you. I just wanted to ask a quick question. You were talking a little bit about. I’ve been a believer and I have been saved since I was 16 years old and I’m almost 61 now. I just wanted to know if you’ve been baptized more than one time, is that a sin or if you backside from the Lord?

Okay, well, water baptism is something that was done, is to be done after you become saved. A lot of people were infant baptized, that doesn’t count. If you were baptized before your salvation experience, that doesn’t count. You have to be baptized after you’ve been saved. And then it’s really a one-time event where you get tested, because you only saved once and saved forever, you’re only baptized once. So it’s not a sin. But if you weren’t sure about why you were getting baptized, you might want to do it to be the one-time testimony of your salvation.

But you’re saved whether you’re baptized or not. You’re saved when you trust Christ and His death and burial and resurrection is the only means of your salvation. We’re coming upon our break hard and fast here, so we’re going to take a break. We’ll come back and we’ll answer more questions and we’d love to have you call us here. And if you can help Bibleline, you can call also and help us by giving a gift to Bible Lion, which would help us close up this month of May.

We’re going to take our break. We’ll come back into a second half hour. I’m Dr. Englund’s German. Don’t go away. I’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund’s German. We’re excited about being with you. with you and we’re excited about everything that God is doing. It’s just really wonderful. We’ve been talking to people from a lot of different parts of the country from Ohio, from Kentucky, from Tennessee, from Puerto Rico, from other states and people are really, really apparently benefiting by Bible and they tell us over and over again, we just listen all the time.

Talk to some fellows in the military listening in their barracks on their bases and watching our television webcast of our worship service and all these things are just out there to help and benefit people. If you know missionaries or you have family or friends or people in the military and other parts of the world, they can be watching Bible on. And we have soldiers in other countries that are watching Bible on and taking in the word of God to keep them sustained and strong wherever they might be.

It’s exciting and we hope that you’re part of all that. You know, as you give, you’re going to be a real partner with us to keep this thing going. I was talking to a caller from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this yesterday and he said he wants to be a partner and partner with Bible and to keep this program on the air in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and other cities where we’re on the air. That’s exciting. He has so benefited. He wants to hook up with us and be a partner to keep this thing going.

He wants Bible and to continue every day in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Would you pray for Bible and maybe give a gift to Bible and your gift with keep us on the air? We sure need your help and You can either call and ask for a number of to be sent with our address on it and mail your gift in or call and maybe give a gift by credit card over the phone. There’s lots of different ways you can give on the online bookstore on our website.

But in any case, we can sure use your help. This is the time to start planning ahead now. In my experience I’ve been 15 times. This will be 16 for me. We need the time to plan and get your money in order so you can go and we’ll be leaving Lord willing February of next year, 2009. And maybe you can schedule your vacation and try to save your money and get it together so you can be on this next trip.

If the Lord hasn’t wrapped your lips out, we’re going to plan to go. And I hope that you’ll be on board with us. Call and get your name on our list and we’ll send you information in the mail and you can begin to make your plans. We are going to go and do the second half hour byline right now so I hope you’ll keep your radio tuned right where it is. And stay with us for the second half hour.

We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break and we’re going to do another half hour so you can call in at our number and give your question. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We want you to feel right at ease and we never try to put our callers down. We try to explain and we may not agree, but we’re going to tell you what the Bible has to say and we hope that that’s what you would like to have happened because we’re not going to just jump all over the place and say, well, this person is right and the next person who believes opposite is right.

Somebody’s wrong and we’re gonna point that out, but we do it in love and we care for you our audience and want you to grow and learn and I hope you are by the line is this is supported Really we could not be on the air if we’re not for you the listeners God has raised up people just like you who liked this program We’d like to see it continue and their gifts and your gifts are what keep us on the air because we don’t pay any salaries We’re about as lean as we can get as far as using the money that comes in.

We’re up in the capital of New York and many states in between and we’re expanding. And as the words provide, we’re able to do that. But we need your help to make sure that happens. You can give a gift right now by credit card over the phone and or you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent and mail Your gift in I just spoke to a caller from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania And he said I want to be a lifetime partner with you at Bible and I want to make sure that this program does not go off the air in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, so we have some wonderful listeners in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and

They they are keeping us on the air. That’s what we need you to help us do as well whatever area you’re listening to, we need you to assure that the program will continue in your area. Call and give a gift by credit card over the phone or call it as for an envelope to be mailed out. We want to take our calls. We have Danny waiting in St. Petersburg and Danny, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi, Dr.

Lindstrom. I just wanted to tell you I really enjoy your show. I am 42 years old and recently you just turn my life over to God. It’s been a wonderful, wonderful thing every single day. It’s just amazing that whenever there’s a problem that arises in my life, I I hear the same. I was speaking to you directly. It’s just been an amazing thing, 15 years in my life. She was married when she was, I think, late teens, early 20s.

And I read about that in the Bible. It’s being considered a. Being at cheer on that was. Well, I wouldn’t spend time worrying about that. It’s not an ongoing sin. It was a sin when it was committed. If you get saved in the meantime, which you say you have, I don’t know about your wife, but you get a brand new beginning. It’s like a brand new start. You know, it’s a new birth and a new beginning. And so this scratch everything that happened before you were saved and start all over.

I don’t know if that was true for her, but in any case you can’t live in the past. The Bible says, Forgaining those things which are past, Paul says, I pressed forward toward the mark of the High Colli of Christ in Philippians chapter 2. So forget those things that are past. Don’t let those things drag you down. The devil would love to keep you trapped in your past, and God wants you to move forward into your future. So I would put that under your head.

Thank you very much Dr. Lindstrom. That’s very reassuring. If I could just maybe talk this one out here, the verse has been so wonderful to me lately. It’s Matthew 2121. I read that daily. For me that is just the best verse in the Bible for my time right now. It’s really helped me because it can be weak and that really makes me believe and reading it over and over and over and over again has been a powerful verse for me lately.

Well, it’s wonderful. And of course, it says here in that verse Jesus said, under them, really, I say unto you, if you have faith and doubt not, you shall not only do that which is done to this fig tree, but also you shall say that even to this mountain be thou removed, and thou shall be cast into the sea, and shall be done. Yes, beautiful verse. Okay. I don’t know if you’re listening to that. You know what’s interesting about that verse though is it doesn’t talk about any mountain.

Jesus said this mountain. He’s talking about the Mount of Olives. And obviously when we pray according to the scriptures or scripturally we can count on the answer. And guess what? That mountain is going to be removed as the prophecies tell us in Zechariah 14 for example when Jesus comes back in his second coming. His feet will touch on the Mount of Olives, and the Mount of Olives will split in half of it will be removed to the north and half to the south, and a great valley will be created where the Mount of Olives presently is.

So this mountain, referring to not just any mountain, you can’t just be driving down the highway and say, Lord I want that mountain over there removed, it’s not going to happen. But the mountain that Christ was talking about, the Mount of Olives will be removed, And as we pray for things that are prophesied and are within God’s will, we’re going to get yes answers. You know, that’s why it says, Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. One day Jerusalem will be at peace and it will be when Jesus comes, the Prince of Peace, and when Jerusalem comes to be at peace, then the whole world will come to peace because when Jesus comes back, He comes back to the city of Jerusalem andQuality and brings peace the Jerusalem and Isaiah says his peace will flow like a river to the ends of the world.

So the whole earth will become at peace. Once Jerusalem is at peace and we need to pray for Jerusalem. Right now it’s not at peace. I was just there a couple of months ago and obviously as we left some Muslim, radical Muslim went into a Yeshua school for a young man that want to become rabbis and killed eight of them before they were able to overcome and kill him. Tragic things like that are happening in Jerusalem and around the world and one day the earth will be at peace, but it’s when Christ comes back.

But peace begins at Jerusalem, so pray for the peace of Jerusalem. It’s really a way of praying for the peace of the world and then we appreciate your call and that’s a great verse. And as we, faith is not just a blind thing, it is faith is really built upon fact and it’s trust and based upon the facts of God’s Word. His Word is reliable. It’s always come to pass in the past and will always come to pass in the future.

We have Beth in Valorico, Florida. She calls in and leaves us off her question. He says, where does it say in the Bible that everyone’s name is in the Lamb’s book of life until you die? And then unbelievers’ names are blotted out of the book of life. A lot of people have never heard that. The Bible says, for God so loved they… We’re going to talk about the world. Everybody in the human race Christ died for. So God puts everybody’s name in the book.

And if you die as an unbeliever your name is stricken from the book at the moment of your death. But if you become a believer then your name is kept there permanently. Let me go to Revelation chapter three five. It’s a wonderful verse and a Revelation three five. We have a promise to believers. It says here in Revelation three five. the verse is addressed to one who is called an overcomer. And an overcomer in the Bible is a believer.

It says, He could overcome it. Now let me give you a great cross-reference. It’s 1 John 5, 4, and 5. 1 John 5, 4, says, For whatsoever is born of God, overcomeeth the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. So in other words, if you’ve been born again, if you place your faith in Christ, you’re an overcomer by virtue of what Christ overcame on your behalf for you at the cross of Calvary. Verse 5 is even better.

1 John 5 says, Who is He that overcometh the world? Answer, He the Believer, the Jesus Christ is the Son of God. So if you’re a believer, you are an overcomer. And there are three things here that are promised to the overcomer, to the believer. And the second one here is, I will not blot his name out of the book of life. So it’s implied here, Beth, that your name is already there. And he says, I will not, if you’re a believer, I will not blot your name out of the book of life.

Whose names are blotted out? Well it’s the ones who die having sinned against the Lord in that they’ve committed the unpardonable sin. back in the book of Exodus, it says about blotting the name out of the book of life in Exodus 32 and verse 32 and 33 of Exodus 32. It says, the one’s name who will be blotted out of my book is the one that has sinned against me and that sin is the unpardonable sin that of rejection of Christ is Savior.

When you reject Christ and you die at the moment of your death, your name is erased. But everybody’s name is in the book because God wants everybody to be saved and He’s died for every man, woman and child. We quoted earlier, 1 John 2, 2, that Christ is the propitiation or satisfying sacrifice for our sins and not for our sins only, but also for the sins of the whole world. So God puts everybody’s name in the book. He intends and wants everybody to be saved.

But if you die rejecting Christ, then you have sinned against the Lord in committing the the end of our world sin and your name will be brought it out. There’s a lot of verses we can turn to but hopefully that helps Beth. Revelation 3.5 is a promise to the believer at the moment of belief from that point on forever. I will not blot your name out of the book of life. If you’re a believer, you’re an overcomer and it’s an overcomer, you’ll not be brought it out.

Joe in Pembroke Pines calls in, leaves this off our question. He He says is repent and being converted the same thing when talking about salvation Acts 3 18, a change of mind and trust Christ as your Savior. Here is talking about the nation of Israel being extended an opportunity to change their mind about Jesus and to actually believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him as their King and Savior. And when that happens, the Millennial Kingdom will be set up.

I’m going to turn over there real quickly and we’ll talk about this for a second. But the The Bible tells us that in Acts chapter 3 verse 21 says, when the heaven must receive whom the heaven must receive until the time of restitution of all things, which God has spoken of by the mouth of all this holy prophets since the world began. talking here about this time when the world will be delivered from the curse, it’s the millennial kingdom and the way that that will take place is if Israel would change their mind and become saved.

And then openly speak about Jesus as being their king. By the way, that will happen during the tribulation period. Millions of Jews will get saved and they will say openly and proudly, blessed is he that cometh in the name. of the Lord. And of course, his name is Yeshua, or in English it’s Jesus. So, blessings see the cometh in the name of Jesus. They said that on the slopes of the Mount of Olives, when Jesus came down into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

But the religious leaders rejected him. So the people said, Hosanna to the son of David, and, uh, recognize that Jesus Christ was the Messiah, but the leadership of Israel turned it down, and Christ went to the cross. But he’s telling Israel that if they want to get back into the ball game They have to change their mind and trust Christ’s Savior and it will happen in the tribulation period before Christ comes the second time Certainly appreciate you writing in with those questions there.

We’re now going to go to a live caller. We have Betty and Betty is calling in from Let’s see where she’s calling in from. Betty is calling in from Beverly Hills, Florida. Sounds like a wonderful place to live. Betty, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, good morning, Dr. Hank. I want to thank you so much for your entire ministry, but we so enjoyed last Sunday’s message on the grapes of wrath and Isaiah 63 and so forth. We just love your manner of teaching.

you’re not only in form of a fight i think but you also teach us how to study for ourselves well one of the things you could catch that message and listen to it and view it in Beverly Hills florida even though uh… you live in a little city on the internet you’re able to watch it right and yet and brother lynch and bob and i are leaving june night to go up to uh… levittown long island where from long island and we’re going to review uh…

our friend up there are watches and listen to you as well I just wanted to briefly make this suggestion. I know I should have a question. I’ll be sure. What I do, Brother Lynch, is I Google, let’s say, contemplative prayer, or John McCrother, or whatever. And then, of course, as you know, a whole page of items come up. And then I’ll click on to one of them. And the very first thing I do is check the doctrine. And if the doctrine is good, then you We can learn a lot of different things about what is going on behind the scenes, who is teaching what, and now I have bookmark them and I get daily bulletins from these ministries that I can trust.

But of course, I always check it with the Word of God. Well, that is a good suggestion and it’s wonderful the fact that you can quickly get information through the World Wide Web. And of course if you Google my name or Bible and you’ll get tons of sites come up as well that will allow you to watch our TV or listen to our radio and get our answers to our questions and things. It’s all right there. Wonderful thing and thank you Betty for calling in.

Yes we can and we’re recommending doing that. Thank you Dr. And in the wonderful you have friends up in New York that also are watching and listening the Bibleline on the internet. Holly in New York calls in and she says, if there is no place for you in a church to serve God, should you stay at that church. I think you need to find a church where you can serve. I can’t imagine a church where there’s nothing for you to do, even if you swept or you’ve garden out in the church flower gardens or or mow the lawn or painted the doors or or greeze the The hinges that are needing a little bit of oil Or singing the choir or teach a statistical class or there’s so many jobs and Certainly if you’re creative You could probably even say may I I have this small part of your ministry.

Could I fill up your track rack? Make sure that you’re filled with tracks with your sound doctrine. All these things would be a great asset to any church. Boy, it would be great to have people walking up and saying, can I help? How wonderful it is that I’m sure any pastor would not want to turn you down. So I would suggest that there probably is a place for you to serve. But if there’s no place to serve, then maybe you need to find a church that wants to have people serve and use you.

Thank you for that call we’ll be praying for you, Holly, in New York that you’ll find a place like that. Anonymous calls in, leaves us off your question. Lazarus who died and went into the buzz of Abraham is he the same Lazarus that Jesus raised from the dead? The answer is no. In Luke 16 you have the story of Lazarus a beggar. Who was obviously in bad health. He had sores and the dogs came and licked his sores and he ate from the dumpster of the rich man and he had a real sad life and he died but he was in paradise because he was a believer.

Well, Lazarus who was raised from the dead was the brother of Mary and Martha who lived in Bethany. Totally different story, not the same one at all. So I hope that answers your question. Doug in Clearwater says, could you please comment on the last verse of Malachi? Well, Malachi tells us in the last two verses that John the Baptist, or Elijah rather, would come back before the Lord would come back in his second coming. John the Baptist was, in a sense, the Elijah of the first coming.

God knew that Christ would be rejected, and so He came in the same Spirit, the Holy Spirit, that in the Old Testament, he comes back in his second coming, but John the Baptist came in that same Spirit and preached and prepared the way for Christ. Let me just read the verses. It says in verse 5 of Balkai 4, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. That will happen right after the Rapture.

Moses analyzed it, will come back and preached during the first three and a half years of the seven year tribulation period after the rapture. And as before the great and dreadful day of the Lord, that is the last three and a half years of the tribulation and he will bring the gospel to the Jewish people and many, many Jewish people are going to come to know Christ as their Savior. We now have Anonymous coming to us from Jacksonville, Florida and Anonymous.

Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning Dr. Lynch Dremel. I have just a quick question. I can answer somebody. I work sometimes with girls who’ve had abortions and different things and it was asked to me what happens to the babies that are being aborted. I mean they go straight to heaven but are they still, they had a question, were they still small like up there babies or are they grown up and they’re big people now and I just know how to answer the girl so I thought I would just call anything in the Bible on it.

So let me hang up and I can hear you better on the radio. Okay. Thank you for calling in from Jacksonville, Florida. for calling in from Jacksonville, Florida. Actually, all babies before the age of accountability go straight to heaven. David had a baby and at seven days old the baby died, second Samuel, 1223. David says the baby will not return back to me, but I’ll go to be with my baby. And of course, obviously David was saved. And so that baby, he would see that baby again Now, all of us in our resurrection bodies will be in the prime of life.

So you won’t see a baby as a baby in heaven. They’ll have an adult mature body, about 33 years of age, as the Bible says, our resurrection bodies will be like Christ’s body. And Christ died at about 33. And when he came back in that same body, he obviously was in appearance in the very prime of life. So if you’re older, you’ll be younger, and if you’re younger, you’ll be older in heaven as far as your physical appearance and physical body.

So we’ll be recognizable. We’ll know each other. And I think a mother will find her children and know who they are, but they’ll be in an adult body. Hope that helps you. And we sure do thank you for calling in today. We have, let’s see here. We have Curtis, I believe, calling in and Curtis. Welcome to my blind, calling in from Jacksonville, Florida. Curtis, welcome. You’re on the air. Hello, Curtis. I don’t hear Curtis. Maybe Curtis is not there.

Well, let me try that one more time. Is Curtis still on the line? Anyway, he called in, but we kind of have lost him. Let me just again say, if you haven’t trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you need to do that because that’s the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life. Your holy eternity is based upon trusting Christ. If you don’t, you’ll spend all eternity separated from God in hell. There’s only one way to heaven that’s Christ Christ said I’m the way the truth in the life and no man can come under the Father But by me so if you haven’t done it whisper prayer right now Just say God right now.

I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior I believe he died on the cross and paid my sin debt and full was buried in rose again from the dead and when you trust him God of heaven saves you the moment you do and you’re saved forever. Then you need to make that second decision to serve the Lord Okay, I think Curtis has been found Curtis. Welcome to Bibleline. I Want to get your opinion on the validity. Have you heard about this Bible code?

Well Bible codes. I think are probably true But I don’t want to spend too much time getting into that because you can go astray. There are a number of books that have been written out about how the Bible is such a perfect book as it was originally written at least, that there are messages in there that are not going to predict you to do what you read but are very, very interesting. And I just tread lightly on that because you can just spend your life going that direction.

I don’t think that’s the direction God wants you to go. So it’s true, but I don’t want to go that way. Anyway, we’re at the end of our hour. Thank you Curtis for calling in and we are appealing to you as a listener to be a partner with us and to partner with us to keep this program going wherever you might be listening to it. We had a caller from Pittsburgh yesterday. He said, I want to be a lifetime partner with you at Bibleline.
