We thank you so much for tuning in and again we’re coming up on our summer camp, we’re taking our teens to camp on Monday and we still have I think just a couple of openings, so if you have a teen, you’d like them to get under the sound of God’s word for a week. I believe if they’re unsaved, they’ll come away saved. If they’re not living for you, they, for Christ, they may make a decision to live for Christ at this camp and it’ll be a great week, a spiritual week as they get away from their friends, their phones, their radios, and their music.
And I think you’ll find it’ll be a powerful week for God in the lives of these teens. So call us if you’d like the information and you can certainly do that. Bibleline has a now special music section on our website, Bibleline Music for Children. If you don’t have web access, you can call us and we’ll give you the 800 number where you can order these directly and they’ll be glad to assist you. But there are six CDs and they’re wonderfully made for children and you can actually put your child, your grandchild, your nephew, your niece’s name in the record album and they’ll hear their name for at least 40 to 45 times on whatever CD you order.
You can sample that right on our Bibleline website. Go to BibleLineMinistries.org, click on the online bookstore on the right-hand side of every page. There’s a vertical banner. Click on that and you’ll get to sample these CDs. good and I tell you it has been powerful with my granddaughter. Thirty-one months old now and the her world stops when she hears the c.d. played. It starts off by saying Isabelle you’re special and God has made you special and God loves you Isabelle.
But she hears her name she just stops and you know she’ll tell people I’m special. How do you know you’re special? God made me special and it opens the door for conversation about the Lord at any time you want because she wants to talk about. Here’s her name on the CD over and over again about how God loves her and cares about her. She loves the songs and has memorized most of them. I’m telling you, just two and a half, what a powerful tool this has been for my own granddaughter.
Let me recommend you call and find out about the Bible and music for children and how you can order those CDs for your children. You’ll be doing yourself and your child grandchildren if you’re needs a favor if you’ll get those and you can order them right on our website. Well, we’re going to go to the Bible first and then we’ll take our callers. If you’d like to call in, you can call us at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We hope that you will give us that call.
We are living in a time when there is a lot of confusion and one of the questions that comes up again and again is what about the unpardonable sin. And many, many really have this terribly wrong. In Mark 3 where we are going to turn it talks about a sin that will never be forgiven. You have your Bible open. Mark chapter 3 verse 28, Jesus says, Verily I say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies were with soever they shall blaspheme, but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiven us, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
What is this blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? Well the answer here in Mark’s Gospel chapter 3 is very clear. When you read the context, Christ had healed a man that was blind and dumb so that he both spake and saw. The miracle was obvious and could not be denied. The religious leaders didn’t even try to deny the miracle because it was obvious. He was a man blind all of his life. Now he could see he was not able to speak, but now he’s speaking.
And so no one could deny that the miracle had occurred. And so what they did was say that Jesus did the miracle by the power of Satan. And so they attributed the healing which was done by God the Holy Spirit to Satan’s Spirit that they said that he is indwelt by and heals by the power of Baal’s e-bob, one of the many names for Satan, the one who is the prince of the demons that has all the fallen angels, and so they said that actually Satan did the healing.
This man was an imposter. He was a fraud. He was a counterfeit. He was not the savior. He was not the Messiah. And so this was the claim that they made. And Jesus says the person who commits the sin of the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would never have forgiveness but is in danger of eternal damnation. Here’s the answer, verse 30, because they said, because they said, because they said, He, Christ, hath an unclean spirit. In other words, this is the blasphemy.
It’s to reject Christ. That of unbelief to not trust Christ as Savior, to say that Christ is not the Savior, he is not the Son of God, he is not the Messiah, he is not the One promised by the prophets, he is an imposter, he is a fraud, he is a counterfeit, he is healing, but he does it by the power of Satan. And here Jesus says that sin would never be forgiven. It says here clearly that they were in danger of eternal damnation, and that means because as long as they were still living they could change their mind, they could trust Christ as their Savior, and they could be saved.
And that’s of course true of everyone. If you are an unbeliever, you’ve got until the day you die, but the problem is that you don’t know what day you’re going to die on. A lot of people say, I’m going to wait till the day of my death and then I’ll trust Christ as Savior. Well guess what? You might be died, you might die suddenly, you might be killed in a car crash. You might all of a sudden have some tragic event happen where your life is taken suddenly and you don’t have any time to make that choice.
And if you die without Christ according to the Bible, you’ll be separated from God forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. You don’t want to have that happen to you. And so here Christ says that all blasphemies and all sins shall be forgiven under the sons of men. When Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, He paid for every manner of sin and every manner of blasphemy that a person could commit. But the unpardonable sin is to reject God’s only provision for sin, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The one who died as the sacrificial sacrifice that would satisfy God’s justice, the fact that Jesus, the Lamb of God, was made to be sin and died and paid for your sin, debt and mind in full, was the only means of our redemption, the only means of our salvation. And if we reject Him, then we are obviously in deep trouble, because then we will never have forgiveness, because the only means of forgiveness for anyone who is lost is trusting Christ as Savior.
You know, Acts 1631 says, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and Thou shalt be saved. The word believe as it is used in the New Testament comes from the Greek word pustuo, P-I-S-T-E-U-O, it means to trust. The best English equivalent for that words meaning is trust. It means to rely upon to put your confidence in, to rest your way upon to put your trust in Jesus Christ as the one who made the full payment for your sin. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and now shall be saved.
What amazes me today is that Satan has gotten most Christians not even to use that phrase phrase or that wonderful expression in the Bible, believe. John 3.16, Jesus used it. He said, Whosoever believeth in Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. Paul said in Acts 1631, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That means trust on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Every look in the New Testament is quite clear that you must trust Christ to be saved, but yet I seldom hear that anymore in Christian language.
When you listen to pastors at the invitation, when you listen to radio broadcasters, when they tell their audience how to be saved, they usually use some counterfeit phrase that’s not even in the Bible. No word does the Bible ever tell us to invite Jesus into our heart, and yet how standard that has become, what happened to whosoever believeth in him, what happened to whosoever would trust Christ, what happened to believe or trust on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
The devil has been clever, and he has gotten us to move away from the terms that really are the biblical terms on how to be saved. The Bible is quite clear that only there is only one Savior and only one way to be saved and that is to believe in or trust on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. In John 647, a favorite verse of mine, Jesus said, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, that means to trust on me, has present tense everlasting life.
He that believeth on me has everlasting life. Some of our modern translations even try to destroy this. The new American Standard, if you read John 647, guess what it says. Verily I say unto you, he that believeth has everlasting life. It leaves out two important words. It leaves out he that believeth on me, on me has everlasting life. It really is meaningless because he that believes what? He that trusts on what? On whom? It doesn’t tell you. Obviously, the answer is Christ.
You have to trust Christ as your Savior if you’re to be saved. Then Jesus said, he that believeth on me has everlasting life, but the New American standard has tons of flaws. And that’s one of them. He that believeth on me, the on me is left out of the New American standard version. It’s a scary day when the Bible is being chipped away at and verses are being deleted. Words are being deleted. The blood is being omitted and we’re living in a time when exactly what God warned against is happening that we’re not to add to or subtract from the Word of God.
The book of Revelation closes with a warning, don’t add to, don’t subtract from my Word or the plagues of the Bible will come upon you. And it talks about a person who’s lost taking away or adding to what God has said and changing the plan of salvation and changing the teachings about Jesus. And obviously they would not be saved if they altered them. Have you trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, the only way to be saved? Let me quote Ephesians 2-8-9 and it says, For by grace, grace meaning mercy, unmerited favor, are you saved through faith or trust in Jesus Christ?
This salvation the Bible says is not of yourself. This salvation it says is the gift of God. In verse 9 it says, This salvation is not of works. Lest any man should boast. It seems like yesterday when I trusted Christ. when I trusted Christ I was eighteen. And you know, I’ll never forget seeing Ephesians 289. And it said not of works. It said it was the gift of God to be saved. It was not of myself. It was by faith in Christ that God would have mercy on me.
And when I saw that phrase, the gift of God, my eyes lighted up, my ears perked up. And I said, wow, if it’s a gift to go to heaven, there’s a chance for me. And then I saw not of works and I said to myself, somebody’s wrong, because my church taught works for salvation. And I said, either my church is right and the Bible is wrong, or the Bible is right and my church is wrong. I had to make a choice.
I chose, obviously, the Bible over my church. I trusted Christ as my Savior. I went back to my church and I told him I was saved. I was going to heaven. I knew a head eternal life and controversy broke out. Not too long thereafter I was whisked into the office of the pastor of the church. And he said, what’s going on? I said, I’m saved. He said, you’re what? I said, I’m saved. I know I have eternal life. I’m going to heaven.
He said, you can’t know that. I said, I do. He said, you can’t know that. I said, I know I have eternal life. He says, you can’t know that. I said, I know I have eternal life. Because God said I have eternal life. John 5, 13, God says, I’ve written this to you, that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may K-N-O-W, you may know that you have eternal life. And he argued that I couldn’t know it, and I said, it doesn’t matter.
God said I could know it, and therefore I know it. Wow, I realized I was in the wrong church. I had the wrong pastor. I don’t believe he was saved. I don’t believe he ever got saved. And I don’t believe the people in the church I was raised in was saved. And so obviously my family, all of us chose to leave and find a Bible believing teaching church where they believed you could know you were saved through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Well, we’re going to go to the phone lines and we’re going to go to Daisy, Florida, which I’m not sure where that’s at. And we have Norma on the line and Norma, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good. Thank you very much. Dr. Lance Tom, my question to you is in Genesis, okay, when God created earth the six days and the seventh one was for less, he created man, woman and animal. The dinosaurs, were they part of those animals or when did they come into existence?
That’s a great question and I believe they were created prior to Adam and Eve in the original creation of the planet Earth when God had plants, animals and dinosaurs and all of the angels of God lived on the Earth. I believe that Earth was judged when Satan fell and the Earth became in verse 2 without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and all life on the planet was extinguished and the Earth was totally flooded.
It was many, many years later, I believe, about 6,000 years ago, that God in seven days made the earth inhabitable again, and this time he puts man on the planet. But if you read Genesis in the six days, on the third day, God did not create plant life, it tells us that the plant life came forth from seed that was already here on the earth. The plants and the trees and the grasses all came forth from seed that was already here.
So all we needed was on the third day we had light, we had all of a sudden dry ground and the seeds germinated and life sprang forth. But then on the fifth day God had to create life that breathed through its nostrils, life in the sea that needed to breathe like whales and other creatures, and then of course animal life and on the sixth day created man. I believe that all the dinosaurs were destroyed in Genesis 1-2 and that Adam and Eve came along later and that God has not decided to have the dinosaurs around with us here on this Earth.
Thank you very much. You’re very welcome. Thank you for calling in. That was normal. Calling in from Daisy, Florida. I’m not sure where that’s at. I’ll have to get my map out. It’s good to be with you today and I want to thank all of you for tuning in. We want to fill out you and Miami that we’re going to be on Monday for the full hour and we’re excited about that. Everybody in South Florida will be able to hear us on the BMCU 1080 on the dial.
And again, if you folks in Miami could help us. financially, that would be great because we’re stepping out on faith to accept the next half hour, but we don’t really have the money to pay for it. So we’re trusting that God is going to supply through our listeners to take care of that full hour. And we’re excited about being on for the full hour. We had a call from Fort Lauderdale a few minutes before the show began. And a listener was asking if we were on the air down there and hopefully he’s listening right now.
in a few more minutes he will not be able to hear us unless he goes to the internet until Monday when he can hear us for the full hour. We’re excited about that. And if you haven’t given the Bibleline, would you call us and give a gift by credit card over the phone? I hate to talk about money. I really do. And if I had enough, I would pay it and not say a word, but I believe that would be wrong because God wants you to be able to share in the getting out of the gospel through Bible and it’s a partnership that really God has designed.
You know when people don’t give they lose out and I didn’t realize that until long after I was saved. But the Bible says in Philippians 4 17 Paul says not that I desire your gift, I desire fruit that may abound your account. And so when we don’t allow someone to give, we’re really cheating them out of an opportunity to have rewards in heaven. And the Bible tells us that as you give to a ministry that’s producing fruit, the fruit of that ministry will then accrue to your account in heaven.
I hope that you would pray for Bibleline and we’d be very appreciative if you would. We thank God for the prayers of our listeners. We also want to thank you in advance for those that will give. Kind of nice note this morning in the mail. It says here, Pastor, thanks to you and your staff. I listen to your radio broadcast every day, and I study the Bible with you on your CDs. I just finished your series on 1st and 2nd Peter.
They have helped me very, very much to understand the verses of Scripture. Thank you, Mike. Well, Mike, thank you for that nice letter. We get many that tell us that they’re learning and growing and maturing as a believer because of the teachings we have, because of the resources we offer, and because of the Bibleline program. And we’re excited about what God is doing. So pray for us and if you and my Emmy and those of you now up in Salem, Indiana could help us.
I hope you’ll find the program will be a blessing to you and that you might also then be a blessing to us in helping us keep it on the air by your gift call. You can give a gift by credit card over the phone. Call as for an envelope to be set with our address on it. You can mail your gift in. We’re now going to go to Plant City and talk to Dave. city florida they’ve welcome to buy one good morning doctor and carry today good the other day i heard some discussion on the show about state and being a chair of the angel and i got kind of confusion i looked in my strong and i looked in my school field bible and the strong told me that the chair was a unknown uh…
derivation and it was imaginary or something and then It should refer me to Ezekiel 1 5, or it gives, could you just enlighten us a little bit more on that about the difference between cherubs and angels and sing up, listen, thanks. Well, they are specially created beings, and they’re a very limited number of them. You can read about them in Revelation 4 and in other places in the Bible. But apparently there are strange creatures, eyes all over them, front and behind, and they can see in every direction.
And they have wings, and they’re not normal creatures as far as we would think a creature was normal. But they are very, very bright, very, very powerful beings, but they are not the standard so-called angel. The innumerable number of angels, whereas Charab’s a very limited number, there are millions and billions of angels, but they always appear as men. They don’t have wings. They’re never any female angels. They’re no baby angels. They don’t marry. They don’t have children. But the term angel also is a broader term.
And it means messenger. And in some cases the word angels apply to men. For example in Revelation chapters 2 and 3, the pastors of each of the seven churches are called an angel, a messenger. Christ is even called an angel in the sense that he’s a messenger. But otherwise, he’s a messenger. There’s only a vast difference between the cherubs and the angels, but Satan was a cherub and he fell and he’s a false messenger. He brings a false message and obviously he is called an angel because he’s a messenger of light according to 2 Corinthians 11 verse 14.
We have to run Dave, but thank you for that question and we are going to take a break here in a minute and come back into a second half hour of Bibleline. We want you to stay tuned for that second half hour and if you have the internet you can not only hear it live on the internet but you can hear it 24-7 so I hope you’ll take advantage of the internet and go to BibleLineMinistries.org. We’re going to take our break, we’re going to come right back, I hope you’ll stay tuned.
Don’t go away, I’ll be right back after the short break in the Great Minister and we’ll be back for a second half hour in just a moment. Go away Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund. It’s great to be with you. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. We have so many things that are going on. We’re excited about, we are of course, leaving for a camp on Monday.
Our youth group is, and we’re excited about what God does in the lives of kids when you get them away from their normal environment and get them in an environment of the Bible. Pray for that, adventure for us and please if you have a teenager let us know real quickly because we do have a couple final openings and I know that they would greatly benefit if you could send them to this camp. A week in the Word of God and away from their music, their friends, their environment and Many, I believe, if they’re not saved, we’ll get saved, and many will dedicate their lives to live for Christ, no matter what vocation God has in store for them.
So call us to get the information. We’ll be glad to assist you if you would like to send a teen or know a teen that needs to go to camp. That would be wonderful. Also, we want you to know that we’re going to be teaching another class this summer. We’re toying with several different books of the Bible we might teach on or topics. So keep listening and we’ll let you know and you’ll be able to get those on CD or DVD.
We just finished 1st Peter and 2nd Peter, 10 hours of teaching on 1st Peter, 10 hours of teaching on 2nd Peter. They’re available on CD and DVD and you can order them. And I just read a note a moment ago from a fellow that said he’s just been studying both of those series and has learned so much about the Bible as a result. We’re talking about if the Lord doesn’t come back this year and he might come this I don’t know.
I certainly think we’re working against the clock that we’ll try to go to Israel again this coming February. It’s such a powerful, powerful experience for the one who goes. You will learn the Bible’s will teach all day long at every site. And you’ll come home, I believe, changed different because the power of the Word of God and the sea, the Word of God come alive in the very places where it took place. You’ll want to be part of that.
You can call and get your name on the list so that we’ll send your brochure when we have them. And we should have them shortly. We’re hoping to finalize this thing. We’ve been negotiating on hotels and different things to make sure that we have a really great trip. And we hope that you’ll go. It’ll be number 16 for me. Again, we hope that you’ll tell your friends about the Bible website because everything is available to your friends overseas and around the country.
Those that are in the military, those that are missionaries in foreign countries tell them about BibleLineMinistries.org and how they can catch our radio or television and all the programs right there. We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour Bibleigns. So keep your radio tuned right where it is and here we go. Second hour. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771.
Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and it’s great to be with you here on this Friday. I hope you’ll go to church someplace this weekend. If you don’t have a church home, you can certainly come and visit us. We would love to have you at our 1030 worship service on Sunday and also you can join us by way of the internet If you go to BibleLineMinistries.org Click on the camera and you do that at 11 o’clock You’ll be able to catch our live worship service from anywhere in the world That’s exciting.
So at 11 you’ll see a notice that says the worship service is about to begin, but soon as the Message is brought that I will deliver. You’ll see the audio and the video come up and people all over the world can watch that. So check that out. Bibleline ministries, if you have any questions about that, call us on our 800 number. We’ll be able to tell you what to do. Also, we want you to know that there are numerous other things on our website, including the Bibleline music for children.
That is so powerful. I’ll tell you, my grandchild has so benefit. The six albums that we have there have Christian songs that are just geared for children. When you order one, you can put your child’s name in that CD so that they’ll hear their name about 45 times on each of those CDs that you can order. It starts off, the The one that I ordered for my granddaughter is Jesus loves you. And it begins by saying, and you can sample it on our website.
You can actually put in your child, your grandchild, or your nephew and he says the name in there. And here samples of each of the songs on each of the CDs and choose the one you want. But it’s so powerful that my granddaughter’s world just stops when she hears the CD. She just stops in her tracks. It’s like you just put a ray god on her and she’s frozen. And it begins by saying, and her name is Isabel, Isabel, you’re special.
God made you special. And God loves you Isabel. And she’ll hear her name throughout. And you know, she’ll tell you, I’m special. Why are you special? God made me special. And it just opens the door. She wants to talk about God and about Jesus. She’s just two and a half. Let me tell you, you’ll be doing yourself a great favor if you have grandchildren, nephews or nieces that need to be reached. This will open the door for you to talk about Jesus and it’ll be just this open channel that opens up because they hear their name and it’s something quite remarkable that happens when they hear their name on that CD.
You might wanna check that out. You can go to our online bookstore on the website and on every page of the online bookstore, there’s a vertical banner, click on that, and you will be able to sample the different CDs and put the name of your grandchild in. If you don’t have internet, then Call our office will give you the 800 number and we have people that will assist you and play it over the phone to you so you can hear and sample your grandchild’s name on the CDs and make a recommendation which one would be best for your age of child.
We got a lot of callers sitting on the phone lines here and we got lots of offer questions We’d like to try to get answered today, so we’re gonna go right at it. We’re gonna go to Albert in Richmond, Virginia and Albert Welcome to Bibleline good to have you on board Yes, sir. I got a question a Friend of mine called me last night and wonder nowhere was it in the Bible that? What a person stable to first of all that?
that said that way if you commit suicide you won’t go to heaven. And I told her I didn’t think it was any Bible because I thought the only way you wouldn’t go to heaven is if you weren’t a believer. So anyway, so anyway after that she said she’d heard all our life that is committed murder that you wouldn’t go to heaven. to heaven i said well i don’t know about that but anyway i thought i’d call you today and see what you have to have out of it well you’re absolutely right there is no place in the bible that it says it’s suicide with senior health that is a wrong conclusion that the roman catholic church is taught so long that a lot of people have bought into it and believed it and they got it from the fact that they said that judas After you betrayed
Christ, committed suicide, and he did, and the Bible says he went to help. But he didn’t go to hell because he committed suicide. That was the wrong conclusion that they drew. But Judas went to hell because he never was a believer. That’s right. He never was a believer. In John 664, Jesus said he knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. He was talking about Judas not being a believer and would betray him.
In John 13 it tells us that Judas was one of the disciples that was not washed of his city, that he was not clean, that he was not saved, and it’s quite clear the Bible makes it very clear that Judas was never a believer. That’s why he went to hell after he committed suicide. But in John 637 it says that if you believe on Christ as your Savior, that Jesus makes a promise to you that he says, I will not cast you out for any reason.
So no one who comes to Christ will ever be cast down. And in John 639, no one who comes to Christ will ever be lost. Once you become saved, you’re saved forever. Now in the Old Testament, we have Samson committing suicide as he pushes down the pillars of that temple of degon and thousands die as the temple crumbles and comes down on his head and he He dies, he commits suicide, and obviously he went to heaven. He’s in the Hall of Fame in Hebrews chapter 11.
We also know that King Saul committed suicide at the end of 2 Samuel, and that Saul is in heaven, that the prophet Samuel told Saul the day before he died, that he would join him in heaven and foretold his death. And so it’s clear in the Bible that you can commit suicide and go to heaven, but we’re not recommending it, that’s not what God teaches you ought to do. Certainly you should not take your own life, but if you did as a believer, it would not cause you to be lost.
The only untargetable sin is the rejection of Jesus Christ. Albert, you were right on. So I hope that helps. And I think Albert has already gone. We now have Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida. Matthew welcome to Bibleline. Hey Hank I have two questions. My first question is when Jesus talked about the man, the demon that departed out of the man and then the demon comes back and sees that it swept and furnished and brings in seven other demons. Who is he talking about there?
Well he’s talking about a person who has had a demon in him and that the demon left but then he came back and brought more demons. So the whole point is that if a person has a demon in them, even though you might even be able to cast that demon out, you haven’t done the first thing you roll favors unless you get them saved. Once they become saved, then the house has got a new resident, that is the Holy Spirit, and no demon would want to come in the same body that is dwelt by the Holy Spirit.
I had a young lady a number of years ago now that she came to me and told me that she had demons in her and that they were urging her to kill her infant child. She had a baby under a year of age and she was so frightened. She said the demons are urging me to kill my baby, to kill my baby and she was terribly frightened. I went over the gospel with her and I discovered she was not saved.
And she had gone to many churches and she said that she felt like they gave her more demons as they would lay hands on her and pray for her and this, not any other. And she had worse problems when she left those churches. And I went over the gospel with her and she trusted Christ. She finally understood that salvation was a gift. It was not of works. It was not of anything she could do. And she trusted Christ as her only hope of heaven.
And guess what? I said, now you should be demon free because the Holy Spirit comes into you at the moment you believe. I said, I want you to keep in contact with me. Let me know if you’re experiencing any problems. And you know, she called me for quite a few years and she said, no more problems. The demons were gone. They left when she got saved and she had a new resident living in her body, God the Holy Spirit.
1 John 4-4, it says, greater is He that is in you, the believer, than He satan that is in the world. And it says that we have overcome the Spirit by trusting Christ as our Savior in 1 John 4. So that is the key. If you don’t lead Him to Christ, and I don’t really look for it and I don’t ever enjoy it, but I have had experience where I believe people were involved by demons in my presence, And I couldn’t get through to them because the demons would stop up their ears like the Bible says and prevent them from hearing and they would actually speak in this gibberish.
They’re language would change in my very presence and they’d speak a strange gibberish type of talk. It really came right from the devil himself. And I could call upon the Lord to cast the demon out. But that only gave me a narrow window of time to talk to them while they were in their right mind. And if I didn’t get him saved, I knew the demon could come right back in and might bring friends with him. So, it’s really, really kind of a frightening experience.
I don’t look forward to doing it again, but I’ve had it where you have some peace with that person who’s demon and dwelt. If you cast the demon out and maybe you have five or ten minutes to talk to them when they’re in their right mind and maybe get them saved, if they get saved, then they’ll have no more demon problems. It’s over. Okay, amen. Yeah, the Holy Spirit is very powerful. Also, my second question is, can you talk about what the difference between the mind and the spirit is?
Well, the spirit is the nature or the part of your makeup that is non-material that allows you to have reception or input from the spirit world. An unsaid person is called spiritually dead. That’s because they’re cut off from God and cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God. But the unsaid person has really good spiritual connections with the dark side. An unsaid person can communicate to demons and to spirits, and the Bible forbids us to go into that realm as Christians.
We’re to stay away from that. But once they become saved, then they become spiritually alive and they can receive information from the spirit world. The body is our connection to the physical world. Our body has five senses to feed information to our soul from the physical realm. So, through my sense of smell, touch, taste, hearing and so on, sight, I can feed information into my soul, but from the Spirit side it comes through my Spirit. So the soul is the real you and it is in connection with your soul that you have choices that is connected to your mind.
And so I believe that’s kind of the way it breaks down. That’s kind of a simplistic view. But if you have the Schofield Bible, it has an excellent note in 1st Thessalonians chapter about the body, soul, and spirit, and how they each interact. And the scriptures that would talk about that. So I hope that helps. Okay, so the lady you were speaking about, she heard voices in her head, now is in her mind, but those are coming from human spirits that were inside of her.
They were actually inside of her, yes, and they could communicate through her spirit, to her mind, her soul, and had her totally wrapped up. Wow, that’s amazing. It is amazing. You don’t really want to deal with that. And I think a lot of these signs and wonders meetings are a conduit for demons to come into people as they are open to the spirit world. And if they’re not saved, they might get more than they bargained for. 2 Corinthians 11 talks about receiving another spirit, not the Holy Spirit, and a meeting where they claim that they’re getting the Holy Spirit.
They’re really getting a false spirit, which is a demon that will enter into them and causes not a sound mind but actually causes people to convulsant and drive and jump around uncontrollably. I believe that’s not from the Lord. We now have an anonymous scholar from Largo, Florida, and anonymous welcome to Bible and you’re on the air. You’re on the air? Oh, thank you. I have just one question and I’d like to know from you you, what do you think of a man who passed or who has been divorced twice and then remade possible for him to be teaching in the church?
As it says in Timothy 3, he gives an outline of what? He offers a bit of the word, I love the word, I love the Lord, and I feel that I can’t participate in the church anymore because of his situation. Well I agree with you and I would have thought about another church. If you read 1 Timothy chapter 3 in Titus chapter 1, it gives you the requirements therefore a pastor, elder, deacon, and it says it would be the husband of one wife.
One I believe one. And so obviously this is out of order. I think I would look for another church. Hope that helps anonymous. Thank you very much. You confirmed what I believe because… We’ll see you later. My husband was a pastor and he believed faithfully in that. And I loved the church and I loved the my sisters and brothers in the Lord. But I felt I had to leave and of course they are not very happy over my leaving.
And I don’t want to hurt the pastor, but he has to do what he wants to do. And I have to do what I have to do. So I do thank you for the answer because I’ve gotten a few answers from other pastors, but I don’t know whether it’s the times or what. I tell you today everybody is just going with whatever is popular out there around what God’s Word says. That’s right. They accommodate whatever people want to hear.
That’s tickling their ears and that’s what the Bible warned about. They would not endure sound doctrine in the last day. Thank you so much for calling in. We now have the caller from Miami. We have Ken and Ken. Welcome to Bibleline your own ear. a hank the christ in the greece the christ in you brother and then i just had a quick uh… in reference to the uh… the uh… send a blast me i thought it interesting the lord had showed me it in the vidicist ten one and what these spiritual leaders when they questioned these religious leaders our lord It was blasphemy because they refused to realize that God is set apart.
And if you look in Leviticus 10-1, it says, and they dab in Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took each of them his censor and put fire therein and laid in since they’re on and offered strange fire before Jehovah. She had not commanded them. And there came forth fire from before the Lord and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said to Aaron, this is that the Lord spoke, saying, I will be set apart, sanctified, in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified.
And the essence is that spirit of Babylon, the Antichrist spirit, which obviously these spiritual leaders, religious leaders had. and Jesus was telling them just as God spoke and brought judgment upon Aaron’s sons, it was a lack of seeing God set apart. Here these religious leaders accused our Lord, works done in the Holy Spirit as if it was not of him and they gave a show of as if they were the spiritual leaders. blasphemy that God will not tolerate as a set apart God.
That’s for good, Ken. And you know, the strange fire was God was the one who ignited the fire for the sacrifice and they were to keep that fire burning. When they brought fire that they had created or they made, it was a picture of man adding his works to salvation. Salvation is all of God. He supplied the fire and obviously he supplies the sacrifice which is Christ and he is the one that did our salvation in its entirety and when we add anything to it then we nullify it and there is no salvation.
So I think there is also that picture as well. Thank you. It is the spirit of Babylon, that antichrist spirit that God so much hates and we see it in revelation this were god makes it clear that he’s holy and set apart well can i can i share one more hand grow quick okay we’re running out of time go ahead i go quick it was in reference to the uh… charrods yeah before living ones they they are not for you know that king james said they’re created they’re not they’re living being there uh…
creatures that are indicative of our lord’s if you look at all the creatures they’re just like the gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, they represent him in his kingship, his servant, as sovereign, and so on. But they’re living ones. They represent, they were in the midst of the throne. They identified Jesus as Yahweh, as God. They are symbolic of who He is. Amen. They have the four faces which represent the same pictures that are presented in the four gospels and you’re absolutely right.
And they do bring Lord to God and identify who Christ is as He is a king and He’s a servant and He’s a man and He is God. We’re going to Bruce now in Clearwater Florida and Bruce welcome Good morning, Pastor. Good morning, Bruce. Yes, this morning’s program. That’s interesting. And again, they aren’t careful with some of the new translations on how they translate things. They miss that meaning. It obviously says the King James are in danger of eternal damnation, giving them opportunity until they die to change their mind and trust the Lord.
But if they die without Christ, then it’s forever over and they will never be forgiven. But interestingly, they will never be forgiven. But interesting point that you’re making there, and that’s what’s scary about some of the translations. I’m guessing that you’re probably talking about the NIV. That’s correct. Well, the NIV is one of the worst out there, and I’m afraid a lot of people don’t realize that it drops 44 verses in their entirety and has hundreds and hundreds of other deletions.
And what is so interesting is that they’re the same deletions that are made by the Jehovah’s Witness Bible. the new world translation and new international version are almost identical you might as well just ask your late uh… your nearest shows what is going to be one of your bibles because it’s equivalent to the n i d they’re almost identical so i i recommend people wake up and and at least get rid of the n i d i d i might as well to just forget about it because i’d i’d be going you know for eternal damnation there’s no hope if you had uh…
rejected crisis right Yeah, that then you would have no hope at all and but it’s a it’s a Sin that’s not forgiven if you die without having trusted Christ’s Savior because it’s only the one who dies without Christ that’s committed that sin to reject Christ and Say that he’s not the Savior therefore I refuse him and here the religious leaders openly refused him and said he is healing by Satan’s power and that’s That’s how they could explain the miracle and they were openly stating how they denied who Christ was and therefore they rejected Him.
If they died in that condition then they would go to hell and never be forgiven. Okay. Well, thank you very much. Well, you’re welcome and thank you for calling in, Bruce. And we now have Anonymous in Largo and welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi, Dr. H. I’m going by Anonymous today because of the nature of my question, but this question was brought to me because of the broadcast of Jack Dannan, who just passed the week. He alluded to Revelation 12-12, and it says, therefore rejoice in the heavens and ye that dwell in them.
And then it comes to waltow the inhabitants of the earth and the seal for the devils come down to you, having great wrath. Knowing that he has a short time. But he alluded to that very first part of that phrase as being alluding to that alien encounters that people have had in the past. Now the reason I’m calling is because I personally have had one too. Over 30 years ago, two of my friends and I clearly saw something that hovered for about 10 minutes.
We hit the ground a little nervous and then it shifted and boom, it was gone like this. to life out into outer space. And with your best biblical knowledge, have you heard of any illusions or any other civilizations that may be out there and does that particular verse relate to you and your best opinion? Okay. And no, I haven’t. And I don’t believe it’s talking about that at all. If you notice in that chapter, it’s talking about a future war that will happen in the middle of the tribulation period where God’s angels will fight against Satan’s angels in the atmosphere around the earth for control over the atmosphere and it’s a way of the earth and the atmosphere being prepared for Christ to return.
White-down Satan is the God of this world and he is also the prince of the power of the air, Ephesians 2. So here Satan is defeated in this battle and he’s confined to the surface of the earth. He loses the atmosphere that he controls now and his angels do. And so the heavens rejoice in that the angels that are God’s angels, Michael leading the way, have overcome them. So they’re the ones that are rejoicing. And now Satan is very angry and you’ll notice for 13 he turns against the Jewish people and a second Holocaust is going to occur as a result.
