Of course that means if the Lord doesn’t come back this year, we keep talking about this feast of trumpets and how if the Lord were to come this year, we have really less than two weeks, they’ll, Jesus catches us out.

And wouldn’t that be something? If we were part of that group, that according to the Bible will never perish, that will never die that will live forever and be bodily caught up and transformed into our new bodies on the way up at the event of the rapture. Well, it’s very possible that it could be this year, and I’m not saying that it is, but it is possible. And it’s exciting to live in that anticipation of the fact that it could be even this year, maybe in just a couple of weeks.

In any case, give them your Bible and check it out. We’re going to study the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to take our callers. Okay. We’re gonna get another Bible and I hope you have your Bible there and then we’ll go ahead and take our questions today And we hope that you’re enjoying the program What is amazing is that how much confusion? There is out there in Christian circles and that’s because of Satan. He is according to 1 Corinthians 14 the author of Comteusian Satan will keep you confused But you know the truth of the scripture is simple and the Bible says when you shall know the truth the truth shall set you free and It’s amazing how many people just buy into whatever they hear or whatever they’re taught.

They’re not paying attention to what the Bible says and checking out what they’re hearing against the Scriptures. Over in 1 John, there’s a wonderful reference in chapter 4 in verse 1 where it says, Beloved, believe not every spirit. It’s really saying here, don’t be callable, don’t believe everybody you hear. And if you’re not careful, you’ll listen to those that are saying things that are not in line with the Bible. And if they’re not in line with the Bible, then they’re in error.

It says you’ll believe not every spirit that try or test the spirits whether they are of God because it says many false prophets are gone out into the world. So there’s many false preachers, many false teachers out there in the world and you have to test what they have to say against the scriptures. And if they line up with scripture, then they’re right. If they disagree with the Scripture, then they’re wrong. It’s that simple because the Bible is the authority.

I’m not the authority, nor is there any organization or denomination that is the authority. The authority is the word of God itself. We can take the Bible, take a look at what it says, and we can make a decision as to whether we’re hearing the truth or not. He tells us a little bit further down here that when you have the truth, you’ll find that those who don’t have the truth don’t want to listen to you. It says, we are God.

He that knoweth God, heareth us, and he that is not of God, heareth not us. Hereby we know the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of error. This is a wonderful phrase. And the Spirit of Truth is the Holy Spirit who is God Himself, the Author of Scripture. And we find the Spirit of error is Satan who is the one who would like to pervert the truth and cause confusion and to mislead people. So you need to know the difference between which Spirit you’re hearing.

That’s what it’s saying when there’s one here in 1 John chapter 4. beloved believe not every spirit because some are speaking by the Holy Spirit and obviously if they do they are going to be saying exactly what the Bible says because the Holy Spirit is the author of scripture and obviously all scripture is given by inspiration of God and we can trust the Word of God. That is the only book in the world you can really trust. Every other book is flawed, every other book has a problem.

And by the way, even the translations we have are not perfect. But the original Bible, as it was written, the original autographs. As the Holy Spirit gave the scriptures to each of the writers of the Bible, they were perfect without error. And we know that Jesus certainly taught and believed that. I want you to turn with me to Matthew 5, and what an exciting passage this one is. In Matthew 5, if you have your Bible there, take a look at what Jesus said about the Old Testament.

And obviously he believed every bit of the Old Testament and he believed it literally. Matthew chapter 5 in verse 17, Jesus says, and I’m almost there in my Bible, he says, think not that I’m come to destroy the law or the prophets. That is a sweeping phrase that covers the entire Old Testament. The word law there is referencing the first five books of the Bible called the Pentateuch or the Torah, and that was written by Moses as the human writer, but God himself is the author of the book.

And he says, think not that I’m coming to destroy the Torah or the first five books of the Bible or the writings of Moses or the prophets. I am not come to destroy that to fulfill. What is interesting is that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament Scriptures because they spoke about him. Jesus Christ was prophesied to come in the Old Testament. There are 330 detailed prophecies about the first coming of Christ and every one of them were literally fulfilled.

Do you know the odds are against that? That it seemingly would be impossible that anybody could fulfill all 330 of those prophecies, but yet Jesus did. That in itself ought to be convincing enough that you would believe the Bible and that you believe it literally and you would trust Christ as your Savior. And it says here, I’m not come to destroy but to fulfill. As you read through the book of Matthew, you see that word fulfill a number of times.

We find that when Joseph was informed that Mary had conceived and he wasn’t the Father, the Lord said here to Joseph in Matthew 1, and she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, verse 22 of Matthew 1, that it might be fulfilled, fulfilled, fulfilled, which was spoken of the Lord by the Prophet. You’ll find verse after verse after verse is cited that Jesus Christ fulfilled when he came.

He fulfilled the Old Testament Scriptures. They were to be taken literally. There were prophecies there that would come to pass and Jesus Christ fulfilled them. What is it says again in verse 21 of Matthew 1, she shall bring forth the Son and thou shall call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, but it might be fulfilled, which was spoken of the Lord by the Prophet saying, and now it quotes Isaiah 714.

740 years before Jesus ever came, Isaiah said that a virgin would conceive and bear a son. And this would be a sign that God would bring about a child without a human father, and Jesus Christ literally fulfilled that prophecy. Well, there are many more times in Matthew that the word fulfilled is used as it cites the Old Testament Scriptures, even when Jesus was born. And he was hunted down by Herod, and they fled into Egypt until the death of Herod being warned of God that Herod would be following them and trying to kill the baby Jesus.

It says in verse 13 of Matthew 2 that they were there and tell the death of Herod that is in Egypt that it might be fulfilled. It is again fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the Prophet saying out of Egypt, have I called my son. Even the fact that Herod then in running to kill the baby Jesus. Killed every child two years old and under throughout Bethlehem and all the coast thereof, and it says when he did that, verse 17 of Matthew 2, then was fulfilled, then was fulfilled, that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, and it quotes from the book of Jeremiah.

We can continue with that theme. Christ didn’t come through destroyed the Old Testament. He came to fulfill it and the prophecies were about him. Jesus came in fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies that told in great detail the whole life of Christ in advance when he would come how he would die and what he would accomplish all that foretold. Then it says in verse 18 of John, Matthew chapter 5, Though only I say unto you, Jesus says, tell heaven and earth pass one jot or one tittle shall a noiseth pass from the law.

This time the word law refers to the entire Old Testament and it says here, tell heaven and earth pass one jot or one tittle shall a noiseth pass from the law till all be fulfilled. Now what is a jot and what is a tittle? In the Hebrew alphabet there are 22 characters. In the English alphabet there are 26 characters, A through Z, 26 letters. In the Hebrew there are 22. The smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet is called a Jot.

J-O-T. The smallest marking of a letter in the Hebrew alphabet is called a tittle. It’s the equivalent to the little dot over the eye in our English alphabet. That’s the smallest mark that we have. When you make the ear eye, you put that little dot over the eye. That’s the smallest mark we have in the English language. The smallest mark in the Hebrew is called a tittle. What Jesus is saying here, let’s read this and it’s exciting. It says here, Jesus said, tell heaven and earth pass.

about one letter, the smallest letter in the Hebrew, in the Old Testament written in the Hebrew language, or one tittle, or the smallest marking of a letter shall in many ways pass from the scriptures till all be fulfilled. Does that tell you that Christ believed in a literal Bible? It sure did. He believed every letter, every marking of a letter, as he was given in the original autographs was given exactly as God would give it. And so we have an incredible book.

And even though our translations are not perfect, we still have a very, very reliable Bible. And it’s one that we need to read and trust, and we need to preach and proclaim, because there’s only one Savior, and that’s Jesus. And the only way to enter heaven is to trust that He completely paid your sin debt at the cross by His death and shed blood. that our works and our deeds could never earn salvation for us if they could. Jesus never needed to die.

He died as a waste. It was a useless thing. It was something that happened in vain if we could have earned our salvation. But Jesus died because no one could enter heaven apart from receiving the payment that he made by his death in our place. If you bypass the cross and you reject Christ, you will not make heaven. I’m Dr. Englinstren. This is Bible and we’re going to be right now to Fred down in Bradenton, Florida. And Fred, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

Fred? Yes, sir. You’re on the air. Yes, sir. You have a question? Yeah, this is you. Wow. Okay. Yeah, I’ve got a really a little bit of a screen question. I know it’s real and because I’ve seen this guy do this and this guy professes to be a Christian and what I can see out of his life, he exemplifies it, you know, his works will show me that he really practices what he produces. But anyway, what I’m getting at…

He’s not a king that believes in miracles. He’s not charismatic like the Pentecostals or things or anything like this, but he believes in actual miracles and what he can do, and a lot of people believe he’s crazy, but I don’t. I mean, I can’t because I’ve taught him, But he can actually stand the moon day soon down. And I have seen him do this with his own eyeballs wide open. You see what I’m saying to you? And he’s been doing this now since he and a car.

It has not. Call him to go blind or do anything to his eyes. And he tells me he has flames like coming except when he’s asleep then he doesn’t know it. And so I’m trying to get your take or somebody’s take on… Is this guy crazy? I don’t see how he could be crazy because I’ve never seen a crazy man be able to stare at a new day sundown. You know what I’m saying to you? That’s dangerous. Anyway, again, you have to evaluate against the Word of God.

You know, the Bible talks about false preachers actually able to do miracles, and the real test is, what is their message? Because if, oh, let me just read to you from Deuteronomy chapter 13, the test of the true true preacher. It says, if there was among you a preacher or a dreamer of dreams and he gives you a sign or a wonder or a miracle and the sign of a wonder come to pass, he actually pulls it off. So it happens.

Where have he spoken to you saying, let’s go after other gods which you have not known and let us serve them. It says in verse 3, Gosh shall not hearken under the words of that prophet. In other words, a fair message, deeply jow away from the Bible and is not in line with Scripture, I don’t care what miracles they can do, they are not from God. Satan can do miracles and he best miracles through people. Even in the satanic groups, they see miracles happen because Satan can heal, Satan can miracles, but it’s not from God if the message disagrees with the Bible.

Again, Isaiah 8, 20 says, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. I think I would run away from this guy. I would believe if you examine what he’s preaching, it’s not going to be in line with the Bible, and this is a way that the devil can get your Attention and get you to follow somebody’s message is not true. Thank you so much, Fred We now have Matthew in Spring HillSimply.

Matthew welcome to my liner on there Hey, good morning. I’m the next class. I don’t know I’m trying to figure that out So I’ll just have to announce it and you just keep listening and when I announce it we’ll do it All right, well be plan for a question now I did not know that John is the one who says that John remains until he comes. What do you mean by that? He said to Peter what if I should decide that?

He did not say that that was going to happen. He said Peter what is the matter to you? Peter has eyes on John rather than on Jesus. He said, if I decide that John sticks around with me right till I come back, what is that to you? My plan for John is not going to be the same as my plan for you. Except both of them were to preach the gospel, but it doesn’t say that John was going to remain around till Christ came back.

It simply says, what if I decided to do that? So what? Get your eyes on me and don’t worry about what’s going to happen to John. Why that to us as Christian? Well as a Christian don’t put your eyes on other people. It says in the Bible don’t never do that You need to simply compare your life to Christ and if you are living in line with the scriptures and Are living a life that’s Christ like you right on the ball?

But if you’re looking at Joe or John or Jim or somebody else and you’re trying to live your life As though as they live in their lives you’re gonna be a shipwreck. You’re gonna go off the road and and a crash in the ditch. You don’t want to be focused on other people. You only be focused on the Bible and God’s Word and Jesus himself. Amen. Thank you. Okay. You’re welcome. Thank you, Matthew, for calling in from Spring Hill, Florida.

I hope everybody listening has trusted Christ. The Word of God is in such an amazing book. Sometimes we misread or miss something to send the text just like on that question. It was assumed that Jesus it said something you didn’t even say. And you have to be careful to read the Bible very carefully so you don’t let that happen to you. And on salvation I would say most of what is called Christianity is preaching a false message because they’re adding works to…

Solvation saying that you have to keep the commandments of be water baptized or be confirmed or join the church or turn from sin or do something else in addition to faith in Christ. And obviously that’s a false message. You can only be saved by trusting Jesus as Savior. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and again, we need you to know that Bibleline is a listener-supported. It would be wonderful and you can find that God will reach the bless you, I think, if you invest in this program. We’re reaching people of the gospel. We hear people every day tell us about how they’ve gotten saved, how they’ve gotten the truth, and how they have been delivered from false teaching by listening to this program. I’m Dr. Engvensruh. I’m going to go back and rejoin the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour.

Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back in that break and this is Bible and we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church where on the pastor we look forward to being with you each and every day and I hope that you enjoyed and look forward to being with us every day.

I have so many people tell me that they listen every day, that they try to follow as often as they can and I’m so flattered that you would make sure that your day revolves around Bibleline. And tell your friends about it. We are finding new people discovering the Bibleline program all the time. And here in the local area, the manager told me a month ago that the arbitron ratings came out and the Bibleline was rated number one on that station.

In other words, more people listen to Bimaline on the local station here in Tampa than any other program that they air on the station. Isn’t that incredible? Wow, we’re number one. I couldn’t believe it. I said, are you telling me the truth? Are you putting my chain? He said, no, that’s the facts. So Arbitron has rated Bimaline number one, the number one program on WTBN here in Tampa, Florida. So we’re just thanking God that he’s allowing us to have a faithful audience that really is listening more than any other program on the air.

We’re on in many states all the way up to New York and Lansing, Michigan and in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. I just talked to a caller yesterday who hears our program in the late afternoon in Pittsburgh. We come on at 5.30 and as he goes home, he is able to listen to the Bible and program. It’s exciting. As we have people constantly that will tell us about the Bible and program. And so why don’t you tell your friends wherever they might be in Florida or in another state or even in another country.

If they have internet, they’ll be able to catch our program wherever they might be on the planet Earth. is truly, truly exciting. Well, in any case, again, Bibleline is listeners supported and we need your help. We definitely do. We both apologize for that. God has, I think, that plan to have us partner together to accomplish this great task. We can, in a sense, be your voice and speak for you in proclaiming the Word of God. And if you will be the support to make sure that we can pay those bills, bills, that would be great.

Just call up and offer to give a gift by credit card or you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent and mail your gift in. I’m going to now go to the phone lines. We have that number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to go to Richmond, Virginia and we have Jonathan waiting patiently and Jonathan and Richmond, welcome to my blind. I just want to ask you a question about have you heard of the latest? I have done.

I was looking at a show when I saw a probe where he saw that Jesus didn’t come to the room to beat him in the fire. And the Jews were the responsible killing Jesus that it was more of a plot that’s powered in Jesus. And I was wondering, basically, some of the teachings of something I’m hearing coming from some of these guys that are on television, I’m really seeing it from real. up from Rio. And I had even, it can occur we need to say that he could have died on the call.

So I’m, I want to know who do you think about that? And I think you need to be very careful and I know John Hoege believes you could lose you’re solving. Which is seriously wrong. And obviously that’s something we need to avoid. So just be careful, check out what you hear against the scriptures and then turn away from those that are not in line with the word of God. But Jonathan, I hope that helps a little bit. We know that Derek is in Fort Bragg and Fort Bragg, I don’t know where that’s at, but let’s see what Derek has to say.

Derek, welcome to Bibleline. Hey sir, how are we doing? Good. I got a question about Jacob and Esau. I just wanted to know what were the significance of Jacob grabbing Esau’s heel that he was coming out of his mother’s wall? Right here. I don’t really know if there’s a special meaning or not, but basically Jacob was always I guess a resourceful person and always tried to scheme and work out some way of advancing himself and so maybe that’s the picture there in his grabbing the heel of his brother Esau.

Okay, the uh, parties that they had What what did that product be know that parties consisted of? Uh, you can go in the grocery store and get it. I’ve been told For my research that it was really little soup a very very healthy soup Oh, okay Okay, and I don’t know what all they put in it beside the littles, but it was very healthy and uh And a typical soup of the day Right The fact that the Esau gave up his birthright so easily, I guess he was at a moment of faint, whatever God saw that as utter disgrace basically or rejection towards him.

Am I looking at that correctly? Well, because it was a spiritual thing, he was rejecting his… his spiritual heritage is being the elist and having that wonderful privilege of being the spiritual leader being the state of hot himself and he’s sold it rather quickly so he was not a man who is uh… after spiritual things he was more after the things of the flesh right If you were in Hebrews, Hebrews, chapter 11, it says that Esau was a profane man.

He was of the natural and of the flesh. And obviously his brother Jacob, even though he wasn’t perfect, was more in line with the spiritual things and really desired to have that birthright, which was something that was very special, especially in those days. Okay, we now have Paul and Paul is calling us from Valrico Florida and Paul welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Hi Dr. Hank Lindstrom, yes, it’s quite some from the other day and I have two more if I could bother you there.

Sure. One is you know when I pray I don’t feel that I’m a very good player One of the things I would like to say is that I am not a player. In other words every night before I go to bed I thank God for my blessing. And that is going to take care of the sick. And oh and… and other things. I’ve been saying the same prayer since I was a child. I mean I add a little bit now because I’m a family man and I think that that I should be praying.

Well I think you pray this conversation and I think sometimes we try to be eloquent or something when we’re talking to God. But if you read through the Bible some of the prayers are very simple, very, very straightforward. And we know the one in Luke 18 is the sinner who plays just God be merciful to be a sinner. What a great prayer. It was just straight, direct to the point. And I think that we don’t have to be eloquent and we don’t have to get our grammar exactly right.

God just wants us to talk to him. It’s just like you have a conversation with somebody else and except that you recognize you’re talking to the one and only living God, the God of the universe and that He definitely wants you to talk to Him. So just cry out, call out to Him and tell Him what your problems are, your needs are. Him, in this form, gives you some good advice that you ought to let Him know everything that’s bothering you and He’ll hide nothing from him and just to let your needs be known and it says the peace of God the past is all understanding Will keep in guard your heart and mind as you pray and trust God to work things out for you Yes, I always throw off a porch prayer because Jesus said that’s a prayer you need, but it seems like the deacons

and folks in my church, my goodness, they prayed like, and I don’t want to use this word loosely, but like, I don’t know, I just don’t feel like I do it right. My second question is… I see people in my church, I feel that I know I’m saved and things like that, but I don’t get the same feeling in my heart that it seems like others get like I see some people hold their hands up and they’re enthralled and they seem to get such a joy from God.

And I ask God in my prayer to fill me with your space to be and make me a better person, but I feel maybe sometimes he’s not there because I don’t feel the way he’s not there. I think you have folks feel so joyful. Well, obviously, again, you’re looking into the people, and I wouldn’t do that because nowhere does it say that you have to experience those things to be in tune with the Lord. And you’ll find that in the Bible, if you just would kind of read through NC examples of prayer in the Bible, you don’t find much of that either.

I think sometimes people put on a show to be seen and in Matthew chapter 6, Christ warns about that in prayer that you don’t pray in a way that draws attention to yourself or that people are watching you. But if you are praying even in secret and you tell the Lord your problems, he can hear an answer. Of course the key is to be a believer to make sure that you know you are saved, but then As a believer, you can call upon the Lord and He will answer.

The Bible promises that. Don’t look for all those external things. I think that’s a trap that gets you sidetracked and then you’re looking at the external and you’re forgetting that you’re just talking in conversation to the true and living God. God thank you. You’d like us to do your bright man and you really helped me out a lot. Thanks for what you’re doing. Okay. Thank you, Paul. And this is Bibleline and we’re going to go now to our next caller.

We have Darrell in Tampa, Florida and Darrell. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. Lindstrom. It was something that you had stated a couple of minutes ago where you said that the devil has the power to heal. And I was just wondering where do you find that in script? Job number reading in script of words says that he’s able to transform himself into an angel of right. But I was wondering where the glad heard that before, but I haven’t found it.

Let’s look… Let’s look at a couple of verses. First of all, in Revelation chapter 13, it talks about in the tribulation period in particular that the Antichrist and the false prophet will do miracles. It says here in Revelation 13, 13 in my Bible, he doeth great wonders. The word wonders means miracles so that he make it fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. So they’re going to do some pretty spectacular things. And then it says in verse 14, and to see with them the draw on the earth by means of the miracles which they had the power to do.

those are going to be deceiving people by this power of miracles that they have, and people are going to buy into it and believe that they’re really from God and not really from the devil. But back in Deuteronomy 13, and I quoted it a little bit earlier, it talks about a preacher promising a miracle and the miracle comes to pass. But if your message isn’t correct, you’d reject that preacher even if he can do a miracle because the power behind his miracle is Satan and Satan can do miracles.

Well, and it’s like you see this on Christian television and you know in this one radio. It’s like people are sold into the miraculous and they seek after, well he healed this person whatever but it’s what they’re doing is lining up with the scripture and it’s like wow thank you for giving me those. You want to know you’re being deceived and in… And in 2 Thessalonians, it talks about the Antichrist, it says, even him, verse 9 of chapter 2 of 2 Thessalonians, even him who’s coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying miracles.

And the Bible says it tells a lot about it. And Jesus himself said in Matthew 24, when asked what would be the sign of His coming, he said, in Matthew 24, 24, many false teachers will arise, and they shall show great signs and miracles in so much if it were possible they would deceive the very elect the genuine believers. And he says, I’m mourning in advance. He says, I’m telling you before it happens, don’t get fooled. And we’re a lot of people that are getting full.

So what specifically should we look for to distinguish between the two? I would suspect anybody that claims to be miracles today. Nobody, I think the miraculous gifts of ceased that we are not going to be doing those today. That God still can heal when it says will, and certainly we pray for people that are sick and pray for their healing. But the miracle of healing and raising the dead, all those things have ceased and we’re not going to be looking for it.

So when people are claiming those things, it’s something that God said would happen in the last days by false preachers and by Satan himself and the Antichrist. So obviously I would be very suspect and ask myself, is this from God? Most likely it’s not. You’re welcome. I’m Dr. Englunds from this is my blind. we’re now going to go to our next car and that is Troy and he is in the land Florida over on the east coast and Troy welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

Good morning sir. Good morning. I got a listen to the program yesterday and you know I guess a caller called up about the worship and and I know you we have made reference to the fact that it wasn’t in the first church. Well, also primarily there is that the position that the churches have now come up with, the position of a worship leader, is not a scriptural position. And where did this come from? This didn’t come from God, it didn’t come from the Bible, and there’s nothing wrong with worshiping the Lord, but you have to be careful that the worship doesn’t take you on a ride away from the truth.

And I think a lot of the music today, and I think a lot of the music leaders, you know, they have more time in front of the congregation than the pastor does. They have more, in a sense, power to affect the congregation than the pastor does. They have more time, and they can use that music, that music and the music can be used as the devil can use it to lead people away from the truth. And as I said that Aaron I believe was the first worship leader in the Bible and they went right off into that doctrine real quick.

They built a golden calf and they worshiped, they danced and they took their clothes off and got drunk and committed for an occasion and began to worship false gods. So obviously the direction that a worship leader could take, he could be a disaster for the church and the ones that are the appointed spiritual leaders of the church are the pastor of the elders of deacons who are to guard the spiritual purity of the church and these other leaders aren’t necessarily ordained.

They just are coming on getting a salary and a job and they have more sway with the congregation than the actual pastor does. I think it’s dangerous what’s happening today. I just wanted to mention that though, and I understand what you’re saying because I’ve been to your church and we do sing and praise and I just wanted to mention the fact that David always talked about singing and worshiping the God and that God has in song 98 he enjoys a new song.

I also would like to mention that. Like to mention Romans, chapter 5, you’re saying about the worship leaders and the charismatic movement and understand that but we shouldn’t forget that god loves a new song and uh… and that would be in songs ninety eight that he enjoyed uh… david thing in the new song to him and worship in fifteen And God, that whole chapter there refers to how we should worship and pray and applaud God. So, it’s just not to take it away from, you know, because I love the old hymns and there’s new songs.

uh… that they have out that song out that that refers to god how he came from heaven and and the whole gospel in that that those two verses, so we shouldn’t just neglect, you know, scriptures that edify us and help us with new material and new songs. And that was my statement. And I enjoy your program. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you.

And I think you just have to be cautious because if you go back to see what was made the early church strong, they came together number one. The Apostle’s Doctrine was the Word of God. Other things were down in the totem pole as far as their importance. Obviously today churches are attracting people on the basis of music, in bands and drums and everything else rather than the Word of God, which is the feature attraction. Jesus and the Word of God ought to be the feature attraction in any church.

We’re now going to go to Frank and Frank is in Plant City, Florida. Frank, welcome to Bible and you’re on the air. Hey, how you doing, Doug? I’ll tell you a couple quick questions. I wouldn’t be any resources for questions on Adam and the original sin as far as why we inherit sin. Well, maybe… Is that the buzz? The Bible is pretty clear about that, that the whole human race was really seen in the loins of Adam when he sinned.

That sin nature of his was passed down upon all his descendants. And so every one of us in the human race is related to Adam, therefore we all have a sin nature. So that’s basically it. And we have some good books here, yes. You could call and ask our operators and they’ll tell you what we have here that will give you some insight. But definitely the Bible says that the whole world was really seen. First Corinthians 15 is a great chapter to go to, and the Bible talks about Adam being the head of the physical race that came forth, but Jesus the second Adam is the head of a spiritual race, and unless you’re born again and become a member of the heavenly race by trusting Christ, you will not make heaven.

Awesome, awesome. One more thing, I keep getting blasted by some of my Jehovah’s Witness friends about Psalm 37 29. I was wondering if I could give you your view on that. All right. Where it speaks of the right to show a hair at the land, they keep blasting about that for their interpretation that I’m sure you know what I’m talking about now. And obviously, I’m not sure. Obviously they don’t get it right. The righteous in the Bible are those that are trusted Christ of Savior.

They don’t trust Christ, so they’re not the righteous. According to the Bible, they are the wicked and they are godless and they are Jehovahless because they reject Christ so they’re not even in that picture but we you and I who are believers are going to be inheriting the land so I think they got a totally backwards they don’t realize who it’s talking about and it’s certainly not talking about them. I get you more or less it was a question because they don’t believe in that people are going to have it only their 144th battle zone.

I know. I mean yeah it’s frustrating so I’m just going to continue my battle and I thank you very much for your time. you welcome thank you thank we now have a but not in Tampa florida and bernard welcome to bob land you’re on the air yes how you doing good you’re the first call one of the call he was asking about the angel like that one of second Corinthians 11 and 14 that’s correct yeah my my question is uh i was watching i call a part of a program yesterday well we’re getting in He was talking about a third dimension.

They were coming back in a third dimension in the Habanal kind of power and eel. Do you know anything about that? I would be quiet and listen to your answer on the radio. If you listen to Benny Hinn, he makes up half the stuff he says and he believes that there are nine in the Trinity. Everyone who remembers the Trinity are also Trinity and so there’s much more than just three. And he believes that before the fall Adam and Eve could travel to the moon and back and he could swim under the ocean without gills.

And he comes up with some strange things and you will not find it in the Bible. Therefore I would be very careful about listening to anybody like Benny Hinn who invents things and makes up that are not difficult. You don’t want to follow a teacher or teacher like that. You’re going to be in trouble. And I think you just need to again evaluate every spirit, test them against the Bible. And if you test what they teach against the Bible, you’re going to come out all right.

I’m not trying to instrument the Thursday is just about over here. We’re going to have to say goodbye. But again, I want to remind you that Bible on does need your help. And I hate to talk about money I really do but you know it’s got its plan he wants you to be able to invest in eternity and to receive the maximum amount of reward and benefit for that and I believe as you invest wisely We give to a ministry that’s accomplishing something for God where his word is exalted and people are getting saved and people are challenged and people are going into ministry and people are moving forward for Christ as a result that you would get the maximum reward for your gift.

And we certainly have a need. We definitely have no enemies of support and if you could call and give a gift by credit card today. That would be wonderful. Call and ask for an envelope to be sent. You can mail a gift in. I’ve got a run on Dr. Eincklinstrand, but I’ll be back again tomorrow. And meantime, keep looking up because we believe Jesus is coming. I believe He’s coming soon. Who knows?
