Check it all out. I hope you will. We have some wonderful things in our Resource Center. Let me encourage you to get some of the things that we have if you like prophecy. We’ve got some of the greatest stuff. We’ve got every prophecy of the Bible by John Walvard. What a great book. We’ve got another great book by Tim Lahey called The Rapture. It’s a terrific book. One of the best on the coverage of the whole topic of the Rapture and all the passages.
I think you’ll find that we’re not a very good one. We also have Dispensational Truth, which has 160 charts that visualize the whole plan of the ages for you in that book. It’s one of my favorites really and has the chapters that explain everything that you’re looking at. And it helps you because Because if you get a visual in your head it really just submits the information. We have the Scofield Bible. We have the Scofield Bible in Spanish. We have the book of Evangelism, handbook to personal evangelism, which is a wonderful, wonderful book that will help you to learn how to share the gospel with somebody else.
We’ve got tracks that work. We have a track called, am I going to heaven? And it’s a quiz. And the answers are all wrong. And when people check off, they check off the wrong answers. And right now we have that quiz on the front of our web page. And so far the count is we’ve had, I think, almost right, almost there. thousand people that have checked and failed. and then come back around and pass it. That’s incredible. You know, if it be the case that they failed it and now they’ve gotten saved, that’s 40,000 people getting saved just through the quiz on our website.
We also have a seven-minute DVD presentation of the gospel and that’s on the beginning of our website as well, but we also make that available on a DVD if you want to get that for just $7. It’s a great witnessing. We hope you get your Bible out. We’re going to be studying it for just a minute here. If you’re interested in going to Israel, definitely call us, give us your name and your address, and we’ll mail that right out today.
And that will be leaving February 23rd this coming year. Well, it’s going to be wonderful if the Lord lets us do it. He could be back next Tuesday. You know, next Tuesday begins in the evening the Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets, which is the most reasonable day for Jesus to come back, whatever year he comes back. And we could be right there. It could be that this year would be the year that Christ would come, and it could be that it’ll be just one week from today.
That would be spectacular. In any case, I didn’t say he’s coming this year, but he said I said he could come this year and that’s the day of the year that he probably would come either September 30th or October 1st. And of course the Jewish people count their day from sundown to sun sound. So it really begins on Monday night at sundown and then runs all day Tuesday. And then Tuesday night right through the 1st of October. Tell sundown that evening Well, if you have your Bible get it out.
We’re gonna talk a little bit about the scriptures You know the Bible talks about the Holy Spirit being God God is the God of the Bible we’re referring to who exists as three separate eternal persons God the eternal Father God the eternal Spirit and God the the second member of the Godhead. You find so many verses in the New Testament that have all three members of the Godhead. But the Holy Spirit in particular does a number of things which are true for every believer.
If you are a believer, then you have been regenerated or born again by the Spirit of God. That’s what Jesus is talking about in John chapter 3 when in fact it talks about the birth of the Spirit. And he told Nicodemus how to have it by telling him, John’s re-16, and saying to Nicodemus that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. And so the moment you believe on Christ as your Savior, it, he died to pay for your sins.
The Holy Spirit brings about a new birth, which is called the birth of the Spirit, and that happens at the very moment you get saved. Every believer has the new birth. Every believer has that happen at the moment of belief, and every believer has experienced a new birth, a second birth. It says over in 1 John chapter 5 and 1, Whosoever believe it that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and that is a birth of the Spirit.
And unless you are born again, you cannot enter heaven. The second thing that happens with Holy Spirit is He indwells your body. If you are a believer, God the Holy Spirit comes and indwells in your body permanently from the very moment you believe. I’m going to turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 3, and it’s interesting that the Corinthian believers, apparently many of them, were not even aware of it. So you can be in dwelt with the Holy Spirit and apparently not aware of the fact that the Holy Spirit is in you.
But let me read this verse because I think Paul makes that point very strong. He says, No you not, or don’t you know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? Don’t you know that? So apparently many of them did not know that, but at the moment you believe on Christ, 1 Corinthians 3, verse 16 tells us that our bodies become God’s temple, and that God the Holy Spirit comes into our body and dwells in our body from that moment on forever.
So if you are a believer, you have the Holy Spirit in you. And the Bible makes it very clear that every believer has that Holy Spirit dwelling in him. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, then according to the Bible, you are not saved. In Romans chapter 8 and verse 9, it says, if amen have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his. So if you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you are not saved. You are not a child of God.
So two things so far. If you have believed on Christ as your Savior, been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, that’s the new birth. And number two, you have been entwelt by the Holy Spirit, and that happens at the very instant that you believe. We also find that you are baptized with the Holy Spirit. Many times there is such bad teaching about the doctrine of the Holy Spirit that people talk about the baptism as being a subsequent experience to salvation, that you get saved And then you should seek the baptism and they usually say with the company speaking in tongues.
That’s really a lot of bad doctrine there. At the moment you believe the Bible says the Holy Spirit places you into the body of Christ. This is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Look at you will at 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 13. talks about in this chapter the body being the body of Christ which is the true church and in sussim verse 13 of chapter 12 of 1st Corinthians by one spirit are we all baptized into one body.
Whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free and have been all made to drink into one spirit. You’ll notice here everybody is a believer for by one spirit are we all baptized into one body. If you are a believer you have not only been regenerated by the Holy Spirit in both by the Holy Spirit but you are baptized with the Holy Spirit which is the Holy Spirit placing you into the body of Christ. By one spirit are we all baptized into one body.
body is described here as the body of Christ. And in Sosimba 27, now, as a result, you are the body of Christ, and members in particular. So you become a member of the body of Christ by being placed into that body by the baptism of the Holy Spirit, not by water. And amazingly many churches get that wrong. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that the instant a child is baptized by water as an infant. They are placed in the body of Christ.
That is not true. Water doesn’t save water. Has nothing to do with it. But the baptism of the Holy Spirit does, and that happens at the moment of belief. Now I’d like to go to Ephesians chapter 1 where we have a fourth thing that the Holy Spirit does for every believer at the moment of belief, and that is he seals us as his very own. If you are a believer, you belong to God, and God belongs to you, and nothing will be able to separate you or undo what happens at the moment you believe.
In Ephesians 1,13 it says in whom you also trusted. Speaking here about Jesus, it says, after you heard the word of truth, so you hear the truth, you hear the gospel, it says here, you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and it says, in whom, who, after that you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. So here upon believing the gospel, you are sealed. By the way, the tense here is obscured in the King James, and this is unfortunate.
It really should read. If you have a Scofield, it points it out on the margin. This verse should read, having believed you were sealed. Having believed you were sealed. There is being sealed with the Holy Spirit, is simultaneously simultaneous with belief. in the moment you believe you are sealed and notice it says you’re sealed here with all the Spirit. Now in the Bible a seal is a sign of ownership, it’s a sign of a finished transaction. It is a symbol or a sign of security.
In other words, God seals you for Himself that you are His. It tells us in verse 14, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the precious possession. In other words, you are sealed until you are safely in heaven, safely standing there on the floors of heaven and there with the Lord. What a great concept. And the Bible tells us here that not only is the Holy Spirit the seal, which would mean it would be impossible to break by anybody.
If you ever became lost, the seal would have to be broken. The seal is God. God the Holy Spirit. It’s not going to happen. But also it says here this Holy Spirit that comes in is the earnest. The word in this is Old English but it means down payment. God gives you a down payment. Guarantee, he’s going to finish your salvation by giving you the Holy Spirit at the moment you believe. So think about it. If you were to ever lose your salvation, God would have to forfeit the down payment which is the Holy Spirit which would mean that the Holy Spirit would go to hell with you.
It’s not going to happen either. are sealed with God the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit given to you at the moment of belief is God’s down payment guaranteeing to you and to me that he is going to complete the salvation that he begins at the moment you believe. So there you have it, four different wonderful operations of the Holy Spirit that all happened for the believer at the very instant when they believe. When you believe on Christ as your Savior, you are born again, regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
You were born into the family of God, and it says also that you were in dwelt with the Holy Spirit. As the Holy Spirit dwells in your body and your body becomes its temple. And then you find that you were placed in the Christ body, which is also an operation of the Holy Spirit, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and then lastly your sealed with the Holy Spirit. S-E-A-L-S-E-A-L-E-D, sealed as the Holy Spirit guarantees that you’re going to wind up in heaven.
I’m Dr. Hank Goodstrom, this is Bibleline, and we’ve got lots of full lines all lined up. I think everyone I have, and we have a caller with my name. Hank is out there in Tampa, Florida, and Hank, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Dr. Langston. Good morning. Good morning. This is Hank and I listen to you daily and it’s a pleasure listening to you and you’ve been an inspiration. My question is, my mother recently passed away and she had Alzheimer’s, but she had her moments where she was very alert and knew what was going on.
So I wrote a little prayer to try to capture her in one of those moments and I asked her if she would say a prayer of salvation with me. And the prayer sure is short and I just wanted to read it to you to see if I handled it properly. I agree. I said Jesus, I asked you to pray with me and I said Jesus, I believe you are my Lord and God. I believe you died on the cross and said you are blood for my sins.
I am the center. Please come into my life and forgive me for my sins and your precious name, Jesus, I pray. Well, it’s just fine. Amen. I hope she did that. He did. That’s great. Well, when you trust Christ, you become saved. And of course, Christ does come in then and do the four things that we just said. The Holy Spirit will bring her into a new birth and also implore her and place her into the body of Christ and seal her as God’s possession forever.
So she’ll be forever in heaven as a result of her trusting Christ as her Savior. Well, thank you very much. I appreciate it. God bless you. Okay. Thank you for calling in. That was a Hank and Tampa, Florida. We’re going to go to Mark now in Ashland, Kentucky. Mark welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air I couldn’t get it clear on the radio Can I get a correlation between the pre-evident earth and the follow state and the time that man walked earth and down So we get some kind of time correlation to all that for me place.
Let’s do it. Okay. Can you hear me now though on my radio or on the I’m listening to my phone, I made this to make a hang in the phone up here, see my radio worth working on. Okay, don’t hang that phone up. Anyway, basically the Earth was created in the beginning, in the beginning God created the heavens the earth, that could have been millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of years ago. And we find that there were plants, animals and dinosaurs And all of God’s angels living on that original earth.
And the Bible is very clear about that. And it says in Isaiah 45 18 that God created the earth inhabited. It says He created it perfect. And it says He did not create it vain or void. The very word we find used in Genesis 1, 2. The earth became that way. It was not created void and without form. That was the result of a judgment. That judgment killed the earth. all life on the planet when Satan led his rebellion and the dinosaurs were wiped out.
Master tells us that that coincides with the asteroid that struck in the era of the Eucutempotence that was 65 million years ago. So maybe that’s the timeline. Up till 65 million years ago things were going wonderful here on the earth and Lucifer was ruling over all the angels, you had dinosaurs roaming up and down and all kinds of animal life and plant life, and then God judged the earth and it became without form and void, and all life on the planet was extinguished.
We find that the Bible records that and of course historically we can see the evidence here in the earth of some cataclysmic judgment that occurred in the past, and we have the coal and the petroleum today, the fossil remains of plant life and animal life from that original creation still buried in deposits deep in the earth all around the first face of the earth. Then we find, apparently maybe 6,000 years ago, the Holy Spirit in verse 2, brooded upon the face of the waters.
It says move there in the King James, but it means to incubate or to brood upon, and God apparently warmed up the earth and prepared it for life, and the seven days were a re-creative week that was just 6,000 years ago. This time he puts man on the planet, and apparently he chose not to put dinosaurs on the earth here with us, and we find that this earth is, since Adam, is relatively new. And we’re now, of course, headed toward Christ’s Second Coming, which would happen about 6,000 years into that 7,000-year week that God had used as a timeline to let us know his overall plan.
The seven days of the recreated week each represented, I believe, a thousand years. Six thousand years are about done which talks about the first six days and now the seven Thousand years is about to take place comparable to that seventh day the Sabbath This will be a day called a day of the Lord a thousand years Sabbath where the whole earth will be at rest and so we’re really Watching it all unfold and there’s lots of scriptures that that lay out exactly what we’ve talked about here But obviously you have to be jumping around to different parts of the Bible and hits the full story.
But Peter talks about this in 2 Peter chapter 3. He talks about an original earth that’s called the world that then was, and how that that world perished and all life on it died. And that was when God judged the earth in Genesis 1 2. Then it tells us about the world that now is, which begins there in Genesis 1 in verse 2 at the very end of it and is when God made the hula of the inevitable again of what is man here and that earth will continue according to 2 Peter right up to the thousand year reign of Christ which is the millennium and then God will destroy this earth by fire.
And then we have a new heavens and a new earth according to 2 Peter chapter 3, and that new heavens and new earth will be the one in eternity and the one that will take place after this present world is destroyed by God in fire. So we find the Bible clearly teaches this doctrine throughout, and there are many passages that talk about it, but hopefully that gives you a little bit of insight and helps a little bit. Mark that help.
Oh yes, thank you very much. I never realized that the world had been just purified or destroyed the first. I thought the great plug was the only kind of those that then wiped out more or less. I never realized that it happened before. Yeah, twice. And that’s why God City would never again do the search review of my flood. Next go around and it will be my fire. You might want to get that CD in mind that really just kind of summarizes this The I’ve already told Mr.

The airlines will not guarantee those seats after a certain period of time, but they’re You’re being held right now for me and if you want to go, you need to get that brochure and start thinking about it and at least make that deposit and secure the seat so that you can be assured that you’ll be able to go with us on the same plane and we hope that you will.
Okay, we’re going to go back to the phone as we get all of our lines lined up. We have Peggy in Barbersville, West Virginia and Peggy, welcome to my line. on the air. Yes, hi. Good morning. Good morning. I have a question. I’m concerned about this. I’m quite an animal lover. In fact, I have several pets and I’m wondering at the rapture of what will happen to our pets. Well, I hate to disappoint you, but I believe all the animals will be left behind.
Life on the planet will go on. It’s just the believers that will be evacuated. So I believe that the animals will not go up with us. And I know that you can really get attached. And I don’t know what to say except that God will do the right thing by your pet and by your answer. Yes. I think He will do the right thing. You know, I pray every day in my prayer time and I bless my animals and I also pray for the sufferings of animals here on the earth as well as people.
Amen. And I do trust the Lord and I think he will do the right thing. It’s just that we want him to go with us. I know it. Yeah. You have to just leave it in the hands of the Lord. Yes sir. Well thank you so much for taking my call. Okay, Betty. I’m glad we were up there in West Virginia for you and you’re able to listen to our program. Yes sir and I do enjoy it. I try to listen every morning.
As a matter of fact, I had an eye doctor appointment the other day and I hated going because I had to miss your program. Thank you Peggy. Thank you sir. God bless Peggy in Barbersville, West Virginia. We now have Joyce in Charmantville, New York and Barber. I mean Joyce, welcome to my line. Are you there? I’m headed into that right. First, I don’t know if I hear you. Okay. We’ll have to switch and get off of that one and we’ll try, let’s see, Reginald in Tampa, Florida.
Reginald, welcome to my appointment. Good morning, guys. How are you doing today? I got two quick questions for you. Okay. I want to know what you’re taking. How are you feeling about these new ministers that are teaching with the NIV as though it’s the, the number one book uh… even with the lee since i if you feel that this book is a curse and also how do you feel about the uh… the month when they take quite a bit of a fire but they don’t feel that he’s uh…
he died on the cross and that he’s the son of god i’ll hang up and i’ll listen to you all right true will thank you very little for calling in the uh… in any of the is terrible it is equivalent to the johobis witness bible even the title The Jehovah’s Witnesses call their Bible new world translation, and the NIV is the new international version word for word. It’s almost identical. There are 44 verses entirely deleted from the NIV. And guess what?
The same 44 verses are missing in the Jehovah’s Witness Bible. You might as well go out and buy a Jehovah’s Witness Bible. Both of them attacked the doctrine of hell and other major doctrines. In fact, the head of the NIV committee said that hell is no more than the returning of the soul back to the dust of the earth to become dust again. They don’t believe in life after death. And so the translators obviously didn’t carry through the meaning that should be there.
It’s sad. It really is sad. We have a quiz here called the NIV quiz. If you call, we’ll send it to you free of charge. If you get people to take that quiz using their NIV, The school is zero because the quiz is on the 44 loses that are missing so they can’t possibly get one answer. It’s a wake up. I’ve had so many say, whoa, I’m throwing away my NIV because they realize that it’s missing so much. But hundreds and hundreds of other deletions as well.
The NIV is not a very good translation and I’m disappointed in pastors that would use it, obviously they’re not doing their homework. That’s for sure. Also in the Quran, Jesus is accepted as one of 40,000 prophets. But yet the Quran directly attacks Jesus Christ as not being the Son of God, not being the Savior, not dying on the cross of Calvary, not being buried, not coming back from the dead, and not being the Savior of the world. So the Gospel message, the death, the barrel, and the resurrection of Christ is rejected by the Quran and by Muslims.
And obviously these people are in trouble because if they die without Christ, according to the Bible, they will not make heaven. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man cometh unto the Father but by me. You must trust Jesus to go to heaven. Mohammed was supposedly a prophet of Allah. Allah was a tribal god there in Saudi Arabia of the different migrating tribes and it turns out that Allah is the moon god. That’s right.
That’s why they have a crescent moon on the top of every prayer minaret because they’re praying to the moon, not to the god of creation who created the moon. So it’s a lot of craziness and unfortunately these people are blinded. They need to know Jesus as their savior. Thank you, Reginald. We’re now going to go to Paul in Sarasota, Florida and Paul, welcome to my blind. You’re on the air. Yeah, heck, another rapture question. I know I’ve heard you say about children and pre-borns not being raptured, but can you remind me of the script field basis for that?
Well again, it’s just simply an evacuation of the believers. For example, a picture of that was Noah and his family being evacuated from Sodom before the destruction of the Sodom Balai, which is a picture of the tribulation period, and just the believers were evacuated. I’m sure there were children in Sodom and those other cities, but they were not taken out and of course it was just an evacuation of the believers and then God brought his judgment upon the earth.
And I believe the same is true. Now his life is going to go on and if God did take children he would have to take them all of the saved and of the lost alike. He would not be a respecter of persons but there is no indication in scripture that there is anything going on except that those who have become of age that are believed on Christ are going to be taken up. And if you notice the passages that describe the Rapture, it happens to be always of a believer.
In John 11, 26, it says, This is whoever lived and believed in me shall never die. And that’s of course talking about those that will be living when the Rapture takes place and they’ll never die. In 1st Thessalonians chapter 4, says if we believe that Jesus died and rose again we will be in that event. So obviously it’s not talking to any other group. Only those who have come of age to believe are going to go up if they have believed on the Lord and no others are going to go.
And of course when Christ comes back seven years later he will destroy all of those who who have not yet come to know the Lord of Savior by the time of his second coming. But those that are entering the tribulation period will be everybody except the living believers who are going to escape it and be caught out and meet the Lord. Hope that helps. Yes, so I guess we can only speculate about, for example, friggin women, what would happen to the preborn children?
I know that all gets very complicated and I don’t have an answer for you. So we’ll just have to wait and see. Alright, very good, thank you. Okay, some things we’re going to answer in the Bible, and we just have to let it go, and wait and we’ll find out when we see it happen. We’re going to go to Larry now in Hurricane West Virginia, and Larry, welcome to Bible when you’re on the air.
Hello Larry. Yes, you’re on the air. Yes, I had a brief comment about the guy that called in about the dinosaurs. Yes. Could I comment on that? Sure. Okay, and also I had a comment about Easter. But first one about the dinosaurs. I believe that that man in dinosaurs, then I know I have. Have you seen the footprints, the man’s footprints? I have. If you had the dinosaurs, and you know, I don’t think that happened. I believe they were here right here with you.
That is the common answer and it’s a, I think, a very weak one. It’s Romans chapter 5 or 12 that you’re referring to and it doesn’t say that there wasn’t death before Adam and Eve sinned, but what it says is that death had not passed upon humans until Adam sinned. And so if you read that virtually carefully death finally now passes upon humans but there had been death prior to the birth or the emergence of Adam and Eve and their sin in the garden.
Let’s see here. Well, I see what you’re saying but saying about it is. And if some of them did live after the re-creative week, they certainly got out in Noah’s flood that none of them I think existed after Noah’s flood. But they’re not around today and they are gone, but they did exist. They really are real creatures who did exist so near they cannot deny the fossil remains of those. But I do believe that it was still an original earth that was full of animal life.
And well, obviously that dinosaur, that fossilized fuel we’re burning in our gas things right now and the whole world is obviously got their eyes on the Middle East because of the results of that judgment where you have the Middle East is just sand as far as you can see it’s a huge, huge area and under that sand is buried all this oil and God said he would put hooks in the jaws of the nations to draw them in and I believe it’s the result of the original earth being judged and that the plan out life was captured under the earth and that’s coal today and the animal life which would be even dinosaurs is the fossilized remains today as the petroleum that we use in our gas tank.
So you understand that if you’re not a new believe you Way and and dinosaur did wrong here. Yeah, that’s what that’s what that’s possible and that wouldn’t change out My comment on Easter. I Don’t believe it. I fully agree with you and we talked about that every spring the word Easter is the name of the mother of bail and It all has to do with bail worship and And Bail’s mother was a sex goddess and that’s why you have the eggs and the bunny rabbits and all that.
It has nothing to do with Christ. I celebrate personally the resurrection of Jesus again from the dead. And Satan, I think, the lights in getting us to get sidetracked and talk about Bail’s mother at this time of year. And of course there was a tradition that he had been wounded or died in a hunting accident and for forty days they prayed to the heathen gods that he would survive and that’s the origin of Lent. The forty days of Lent is also pagan, nothing to do with the Bible.
As supposedly, Baal came back from the dead and then his mother celebrated his resurrection and that’s the celebration of Easter which is not Christian at all. I agree with you a hundred percent with that. Yeah, I wish you a welcome. Thank you, Larry. And appreciate that call. We now have Gregory in Miami. And Gregory, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Good. Good. Good. I have small colleges. Yes. No, not at all. What’s talked about it in the English word Castaway came from the 16 James time.
And that’s a bad translation. Now, Scofield has a wonderful note on that, if you have the Scofield Bible on that passage. But he’s talking about about the Christian life service, running the race, like an Olympic runner would prepare to run for the Olympic Games, and it sucks about how that sometimes an athlete would be disapproved and disqualified. If you’re a runner and you start too early, you’re disqualified, or if you leave your running lanes, you get disqualified, or if you push your trips another runner, you’re disqualified.
There’s all kinds of things that can happen. So it’s talking about a disciplined athlete who plays by the rules, who will obviously receive a crown, which is the reward for a faithful service called an incorruptible crown. It’s a reference there to the Olympic Games where they received a corruptible crown, usually a wall wreath that didn’t last for a couple of weeks only, turned brown and rotted and disappeared. is talking about a believer being able to earn rewards and he says he doesn’t want us to become disapproved where we would lose the reward that we could have earned.
So it’s not talking about loss of salvation but loss of reward. No it’s not. The word there really means disapproved. The other form without the negative A in in front of it is the word approved. In 2 Timothy 2015 it says, study to show thyself approved. Well that is the positive form of the word where God wants us to be approved and receive rewards for being workman for his name. But he’s talking here about being disapproved and there will be those who will be disapproved and not receive the reward they should have received.
So it has nothing to do with anything but being approved or disapproved when God evaluates your life when you stand before him as a believer at the Judge and the Seat of Christ. Okay, all right. So the second question is from Romans 11, 21 and 22. Can you read that and comment on that for me, please? I’ll be happy to Romans 11 verse 21 and 22. Hold on. I’m almost just past it now. Romans 11 verse 21. 21. It says, if God spared not the natural branches, take heed that he also spared not thee.
This is talking about the Gentiles as verses Israel corporately. He’s not talking about you or me as an individual being lost, but he’s talking about if we as Gentiles fail as Israel did in being God’s witnesses as they should have been, and he set them aside and turned us Gentiles and grafted us into the true olive tree. He will also reject us and go back to using the Jew. That’s exactly what’s going to happen. We’re just about when that’s going to take place now.
We today are failing in missions. We’re failing in winning the world of Christ. We’re not doing the job. We’re about like where Israel was when Christ came at the first coming. And so God is going to go back and use the Jew again and he will cut us off and he’ll go back to use them. But as an individual, you will never be lost. And it says that they were cut off because of unbelief. And God will cut us off too because of the Christians today.
We’re far getting further and further from the Bible and for trusting God. Yes, so the latter part of verse 22 is now continuing his goodness otherwise that also shall be cut off. It’s not a personal you think it’s not a personal? Is it? As corporately as it’s the Gentiles will be cut off and we see ourselves headed that way. Very few churches are really doing a job. You know, we a hundred years ago or more, we were sending missionaries all over the world.
We were evangelistic as a country and today we hardly send anybody anywhere and all missions are failing and there’s nobody winning anybody to Christ and the churches have become more social and more based on this entertainment and tickling their ears and we’re missing the point. God is saying, okay, I’m going to go back and use Israel again and that’s what happens right after the rapture. You know what, I thank you. You heard it right on you at UIT. Well, good.
Thank you, Gregory. Have a good one, that’s right. We’re now going to go to Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina and Georgia. Welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Hello, George. And maybe Georgia’s not there. Let’s see here. We’re now going to go to Loretta in the land, Florida and Loretta. Welcome to Bibleline I pass your hand. I was really concerned about something that you said a little while ago about the children. Yes. And does that include even those infants and like the two and a forty row that have no, you know, really they have a little knowledge, maybe of Jesus, but they, you know, have an opportunity to trust in the Savior.
Yeah, I know it’s awfully scary for a parent or a grandparent, but… grandparent. And you know, I understand your concern. The wonderful thing is that if a child dies under the age of accountability, they go straight to heaven. And that is the blessing, even of all the children that were killed and know as flood. Can you imagine how many children died, but they all went to heaven. The adults didn’t, but those little children that didn’t know the difference would obviously go to heaven.
I have a little two year old granddaughter and I think one of the things that’s really helped me is that CD that we have where you can put the child’s name in and talk all about them and the Christian songs and it just lit her up and we talk about Jesus all the time and I think she’s understood it. She said that she wants to go to God’s house whenever that day would come and I think she is already maybe trusted the Lord.
So I think we ought to aggressively as parents and grandparents and great grandparents try to use every opportunity we have and exercise all of our influence to try to lead them to Christ. But we just have to trust God. I think, just… Yeah, well I’m not in touch with them as much, but I know that they go to church with their mother and dad and they do get, you know, teaching about Jesus, you know, I gave it four and a two year old but they’re very smart but I have two of grandmas.
I’ve got Trenton and Wesley and I heard about you, you know, I’ve listened to you enough to know about your CD, you know, for the children. Your grandchild was really impressed with that being special and all that. But, I know nobody likes the answer I give but I really do feel biblically that is the correct answer. I think we just have to trust the Lord and we have to do the best we can. We don’t know when he’s coming and we just know he can be, his coming has got to be near I think today and we just need to do the best job we can.
Yeah, with everything happening in Israel, Israel and Iran and all that. Well, I know it and it’s been a job right here on our soul today. The guy who wants to blow us up and Israel up and we’re letting him come into our country and speak again. It’s it’s a crazy world. I think and they open me and then your face tell you they want to blow you up I’ve been thinking about it with the baptism of Jesus, you know, and the dawn I don’t fully understand that at all.
I really don’t well I know that. Alright. Okay, we’re about out of time, but Jesus basically was fulfilling the Old Testament type. When a priest became 30 years of age, he was consecrated and fully immersed in a baptism, and Jesus said, suffer this. I will allow this to be so now that I might fulfill all righteousness. He was fulfilling the Old Testament type. He was 30 when he was baptized. That marked the beginning of his ministry, but it has nothing to do with his salvation or ours.
It’s really symbolic. A lot of time, I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. It’s been fun being with you. Again, we could use your help financially if you’d be willing to call and give a gift by credit card. It would be so appreciated. And I hope you’ll tune us in again tomorrow and all week long. and keep looking up because we raised Christ as coming. I’m Dr. Enginson. I’ll be back tomorrow, Lord Billy. In the meantime, we keep looking up. You’ve been listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline Ministries of Tampa, Florida.
