They went abroad telling the story that they had heard. And so they went out witnessing. And so this is a great time to evangelize. More people are likely to say yes to listen to you or to come out to a church service or listen to a CD or in any way accommodate you that this time of year. I hope you’ll take advantage We want you to know we’re going to Israel on March 12th coming back on March 23rd That’s leaving on a Monday coming back on a Friday 12 days exclusively in Israel Some people say is it safe? I believe it will I wouldn’t take you if I didn’t think it would be safe I wouldn’t want to put anybody in harm’s way. We’re gonna fly on the safest airlines that there is L Al, the Israeli Airlines, and we’re going to go exclusively to Israel, and we’re certainly not going to go to places where there is trouble or turmoil.

We’re going to, there’s so much in the way of biblical sites in Israel. You could spend your life there. So we’ll have plenty to see, and we’re going to have some exciting times at the Sea of Galilee at the Jordan River will be baptizing at the Dead Sea, where you can’t possibly sink. The salt is body of water on the earth. Beautiful. Clear water. You can see the bottom, but you can’t. If you can’t swim, you’ll love this. You can’t drown because you’ll float right on the top.

It’s exciting. I’ve laid back, got in the newspaper, held it up, let the wind catch it, and kind of body surf right on top of the Dead Sea. It’s a lot of fun. And we’ll see the Hill of Calvary. We’ll see so much. And it’s like a year’s worth of Bible study all in one trip. You will come back with your head so full. You’ll have to probably take a couple of weeks or months. want to digest what you’ve seen and certainly you want to bring your camera.

In any case, the information is available on the website. If you go to my homepage, click on Bible Eye News and you can download the itinerary and the sign up sheet. You can also call and have us mail that to you. We hope that you will take advantage and do exactly that. Well, we’re going to talk about the Scriptures for a little bit and then we’re going to get into the off-air questions and we have on-air people waiting right now.

We have a caller from Memphis, Tennessee waiting, one from Englewood, Florida and the phones are ringing off the hook so I’m sure we’ll have a whole bunch stacked up and ready to go in just a minute. But let me just say Jesus Christ existed long before Bethlehem. That’s right. If you read John’s gospel beginning in verse one that says in the beginning was the word and it’s referring to Christ and it says the word was with God and the word was God.

Then it tells us that all things were made by Him and that the whole universe was created by Him and in verse 14 it says the word was made flesh. You know this is what Christmas is all about. The fact that God came and took on human flesh in the person of Jesus Christ at Bethlehem. But that it was only the beginning of the story here on this earth. We know 33 years later as a man, he goes to the cross, which is at Jerusalem, and there he dies to pay for the sins of the world.

And obviously Jesus was existing prior to the creation of the universe. And when the universe was created, he was there as the Creator. Isn’t that amazing? I love verse 10 and John 1 where it says, He was in the world and the world was made by Him, but the world knew Him not. For the most part, the human race missed the greatest event in all of history, the visit of God the Creator Himself to the planet earth to reveal Himself to us and become our Savior.

Jesus is. It’s not a great story. It’s a true one. This is the story of the century and of the millenniums and of all time that God, the Creator, would believe heaven. Come to the earth and take on Him and flesh and become a man and die for you and me. When you trust Him as your Savior, God saved you. Verse 12 is such a wonderful verse. It says, but as many as received Him, them. Not receive the commandments, not receive baptism, not receive confirmation, not receive the mass, not receive penance.

This is a person we’re talking about. If you receive Christ, the Bible says, God gives authority for you to become one of God’s children, you become born again when you believe on His name, John 1 12 tells us. And when you trust that Jesus Christ is the Savior that He claims to be, that He went to the cross and died and shed his blood for your sins was buried and rose again from the dead. God saves you and he saves you eternally.

Isn’t that great? I’m so glad I found out this good news. I was 18. I’d been raised in church, but I never knew how to go to heaven. Boy, am I ever glad. My sister invited me to a Bible study in our neighborhood. I didn’t want to go, but to get her off my back I went. Thank God they presented the clear plan of salvation. Didn’t take but one meeting. I was there. I heard it. It made sense. I trusted Christ.

And my friend, I received eternal life that night and I still possess it to this hour. Jesus said in John 637 He’d never cast me out for any reason. So I can never be lost and even better than that in John 639 Christ said he would not lose one person that ever Trusted him as Savior if think about it if one person in all of history wherever lost after they trusted Christ Jesus would be a liar the Bible would be in error.

It would be wrong You might as well light a match and walk away from your Bible my friend the Bible has never been wrong God cannot change his word. He says it is is forever. Jesus said, heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away. In other words, the Word of God is going to be around after the earth has been destroyed. That’s right. Everything in this world will be destroyed one day. Tampa will be destroyed Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas.

All the cities on this earth will be gone. All the things that man has built, the seven wonders of the world all will be gone, but the Word of God will live on. Peter tells us in 1 Peter chapter 1, the Word of God liveth and abideth forever and ever. Can you imagine? This is the book you have to pay attention to and when you trust Christ as your Savior, God gives you the gift of everlasting life. This is my blind.

I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. I’m excited about being able to be with you today and we’re looking forward to a wonderful holiday, a great opportunity to lead people to Christ. And our Christmas special is all about evangelism. It’s about equipping you to be able to give out the gospel message. And I’m telling you, this CD has been used of God to win many, many of the Christ. I hear of stories every week because it’s really been used that way. a great percentage of chance that the person that will listen to it will get saved.

I don’t care how obstinate stubborn they are, we are amazed to hear the stories of people if they listen to it, they get saved. And not only that, this one is great for the Christian. We had one of our greatest witnesses in my church, a fellow that played this in his player in the car and it, guess what, it got stuck. He couldn’t get it out. He hit all the buttons, he kicked the dash, it wouldn’t come out. He said he had to listen to it every time he got into his car.

He listened to it about twenty times. And then apparently his CD player healed itself and it came out. He said, I think God wanted me to listen to that twenty times. He had it so down, so clear. He became one of the best evangelists in my church, able to present the gospel so clear. This is great for you, the Christian as well, teach you how, equip you how to be able to lead someone to Christ. You’ll want to get this for your own benefit as well as to give it out to those that are lost.

And this is a great time to give it out. People will receive it at Christmas time. Take advantage for a $100 donation. We’ll send you 20 of these CDs, 20 tracks to go along with it. The Handbook on Personal Evangelism, a special DVD video that will be great for having the the family sit around or friends that are over, you just get them say seven minutes, would you sit for seven minutes and let me play this? And in those seven minutes, they might get saved.

It’s a very simple video presentation that I did on how to be saved, and that’ll be in there plus five of my articles, and it’s about $150 value for a special gift to my blind here for $100. We’re gonna give the phone lines, the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to go to Memphis, Tennessee, where we’re on every day live at the time we’re on here. Of course, it’s central time there, so it’s nine o’clock or nine fifteen right now in Memphis.

And John, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. How are you doing this morning? Good. Good. I was calling, first of all, God bless you. Thanks for what you do on the radio every day. We listen to you on a regular basis and we just want to say thanks. We appreciate you. Thank you. God bless you. I want to just give you a little something that’s taken place and I need some advice, Dr. Aron. All right. I’m a married man of less than a year.

My wife has a son who’s 17. He didn’t live with us when we first got married, but he lives with us now. This past Sunday we had an altercation because I was instructing him with something to do, and it got to the point to where he came in my face with the words, you know better than to ever touch me. Now, at that moment, I was let down because my wife, his mother, did nothing but tell him, go back in your room and he said, no, he’s not going to touch me.

She ended up walking outside with him. This has caused a beautiful marriage so far the three days of this week to become filled with turmoil. In my house, I don’t feel safe because not from a standpoint of fear, but from the standpoint of I don’t feel comfortable in my house when there’s someone who has approached me with physical altercation and he’s 17 and I’m 40. And his mom does no discipline to him. I would say this also as you give me a little advice to anyone that’s listening, pre-marital counseling is a necessity.

Yes, you want to talk about being honest to each other, but when there are children involved, this is something we did not do. It’s sit down and discuss how we collectively as a unit she and I would raise children because now with him never having a father in his life, me trying to be a father to him. When you say that to me and then walk in my faith, I need to, I guess, get some forgiveness because as of today being Wednesday, I don’t really have a word to say to him.

He’s about seven inches taller than I am, and he gets in my face and you’re not going to touch me as though he wanted a physical altercation. So I say it, I want him out of my house. His mom disagreed, so now he’s still at our house. So I feel as though he challenged me as a father, he challenged me even more than that as a man. So there is bitterness. I know about, I’m a Christian. I know I have to get forgiveness.

I know that doctor. I know that. But it’s hard right now for me to walk in my house, be friendly, to be loving, and to love my wife when someone in my house who I’m taking care of who has no money, gets no child support, I’m taking care of is getting in my face talking about a philosophical altercation. I don’t want him in my house. But my wife does. That’s her child, that’s my son as well, because he’s my step-lawn.

I don’t know what to do at this point. Number one, if it’s possible, I think you need to lead him to Christ if he would even listen to you. But if he got saved, it makes a tremendous difference, for sure. Then you probably ought to get that counseling right away with the three of you, or at least you and your wife, now to get a game plan as to how to approach this. But obviously the two of you need to be in agreement.

The husband wife and if you cannot agree then like it says in Amos, how can two walk together except they be in agreement? So you obviously need the husband and wife are the major players and you need to be in harmony with her and she with you. So I would seek that counseling if it’s possible if you could lead him to Christ. That would change the playing field a lot because he doesn’t know the Lord I’m assuming and if he did it would make a lot of difference i think in the resolving this whole thing what do i do at this present time when i know what the spirit is willing but the flesch is saying you challenged me as a man i’m supposed to now continue to feed you by you close take you here pick you up from there well you just challenge me in my own house and tell me i’m not going to do

this and you feel staying in my house. Right, I think you need to come down only, but I think you obviously have to have your wife’s agreement about that. So I think you two need to come together and get this resolved as to who is the man of the house, who is going to make the final decisions and will she support you in that? And after that right now, no, because she has never just been a person of great discipline.

She believes in a lot of talking. But you’re going to need to find if you go to a church there, hopefully your church can help you find a Good Christian counselor and someone I think you need to do that right away the two of you need to come together on this thing as to how you’re gonna solve it and If she and the boy are teaming up against you, you’ve got a problem And that’s why I am now. Yeah, there you go Well, we’ll be praying for you John That’s a rough situation and maybe some of our listeners might call in with some advice because I hear others have gone through the same things and keep listening today.

We’ll do. Take care, God bless. All right, John. John in Memphis, Tennessee and… The Bible talks about family problems can be really tough. Let’s go to Mark in Inglewood, Florida and Mark, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, good morning, Dr. Hank and I want to thank you very much to the Bible and my heart for sharing your knowledge of the word and your message that you give us every day. I’m a truck driver here and we have the privilege of listening to you while we’re driving.

It certainly helps I was talking with another Christian brother, and he proposed a question to me about after death. I mean, how soon do we enter the kingdom of heaven? I mean, is there any place in the Bible in this state that we immediately go to heaven or do we are sold as our soldiers, and lay dormant and wait for the coming of the Lord and then we’re all taken into heaven at one particular time or is it immediately to come death?

I’m going to hang up in the honor cell phone. I want to listen to your answer on here. Right. I got good news for you. The Bible is very clear about that and I love 2 Corinthians 5, 8, where it says, absent from the body, present with the Lord, absent from the body, present with the Lord. So instantaneously upon death, you will be immediately present with the Lord. You’ll absent this body, which will of course be buried or cremated or whatever, and return back to dust from which it came.

But you’ll get a new body when Christ comes back at the rapture, but your soul and spirit will immediately depart this body and be immediately present with the Lord in heaven so you can relax and look forward to that experience. So when I die, at the moment I die, I’m gonna be instantaneously in the presence of the Lord. Wow, what an experience that’s gonna be looking forward to it. And so for the believer, death need not cause us to fear.

In fact, the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15, death wears like sting, grave wears like victory. Obviously, because Christ rose from dead. He paid for our sins by his death and shed blood. We can be assured of this very promise. We just talked about in 2 Corinthians 5, 8, absent from the body, present with the Lord. We’re going to Tammy in St. Petersburg. Tammy, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. How you doing sir? Good. I had a question.

I’ve been reading Revelations and I think it’s Revelations 20, Chapter 6, about after the thousand years they’re going to let, I guess the devil’s going to be re-released, I guess. I didn’t quite understand why would he be re-released and if that’s true, when do the people, I guess the unsaved, one stand before God in the great way, stand before the great white throne in that case? Okay. question. Let me just start with saying that I believe there are seven different ages or sometimes called dispensations in the Bible.

Each of them are a test of ban in regard to a specific revelation from God. In the millennium, the test is, here we have ideal conditions. It begins with all believers. No one believer is allowed to enter into the thousand year reign of Christ. Satan in his angels are bound verses 1 through 3 and Revelation 20 tells us they are put in the bottom of his pitFY chain instead of on Satan and he will have no influence. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of Christ as he will speak from Jerusalem.

People will come up from all over the world and hear him speak. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord. But there will be children born during the millennium and the The Bible says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, Jeremiah 17. So apparently it is a test at the end to show and demonstrate even under the most ideal conditions with Christ present on the earth visibly seen and heard and the devil and his angels being bound up that still the wickedness of the human heart is such that men will reject And apparently millions will not be believers at the end of that thousand year period and Satan when he’s loose for that little time right at the end, he’s able to round them up and bring an army against Jerusalem and of course Christ quickly defeats them and

then Satan is cast into the everlasting lake of fire. That’s where he’ll be then forever. And then all of the unsaved Mehran, including those that are killed at that final battle call the Battle of Gog and Maygog with that title. That’s the second time it’s used. This one is the final battle. We find that they’ll be brought up to be judged and assigned a degree of punishment in hell according to their works and according to the light that they rejected.

So I would imagine they’ll be greatly punished. But in any case, it’s a test. Okay. And so it’s a shocker to me, you know, to think, how could people not trust Christ? Yes. You know, a lot of times because of Flip Wilson, I loved him, he would always say the devil made me do it. But in the millennium they won’t be able to say that because the devil won’t be around to make him do it. But it does reveal the wickedness of the human nature that we inherit from Adam.

Okay, I had no idea. My husband is telling me about that, but I was like, all the ones that called up the rapture will be saved. So why would he be in Christ these Christ? Why would he need the devil to do what I get? So it’s talking about those that after the rapture, during the tribulation period, millions will get saved. Okay. And the believers of the tribulation period that survived the judgments of the tribulation will live into the thousand years.

No one believers will enter at the beginning, but there will be children born and they They will marry and have children and so on. And millions will come along and the world population will increase greatly. But we find that when it’s all over, apparently millions of those do not trust the Lord. And Satan exposes that when he’s released and is able to round him up. Okay, I had no idea. I’m so glad this minute didn’t end. Thank you, Tammy.

Merry Christmas to you. And this is by the line of Dr. Engle instrument. We’re coming up hard and fast on our break. Even if we approach Christmas, if you would consider maybe giving a special Christmas gift to Bible and that would help us as we exit this year and enter the new one. This is a great time to tell people the story of Christ. And of course, it began at Bethlehem, but it ends at Calvary. That’s where Jesus paid for the sins of the world. And so a person can celebrate Christmas and go to hell. They have to trust that Christ died for their sins to be saved. And this is a great time to tell them that other half of the story. We’re coming to you from Tampa, Florida. and we are excited about being able to do that every day. And thank you for tuning in and we have some good news to report. We just got a report yesterday that on light source, which when you go to my website and you click on there, you can view my television programs.

And the month of November, we had 10,000 people view our television programs on the Internet. on the internet and we had 1600 download those programs for their iPods and so on. Isn’t that exciting? Wow, thousands and thousands are watching our television programs on the internet. You can go to my internet site, BibleLineMinistries.org, click on the television set on the home page and you’ll also be able to do what 10,000 people did last month and watch our television programs and they’re available for free to download.

If you have the iPod, the video iPod, you can watch them when you go about your business or carry them with you wherever you go. That’s exciting. And I hope you’ll take advantage of that. And of course, take advantage of our whole website. We have so many things that can be helpful to you. We’re offering a Christmas special this week to help my blind. For a hundred dollar donation, we’re offering 20, how permanent is your salvation CDs, along with that 20 free tickets to go with those CDs.

And then the handbook on personal evangelism, a special video DVD that you can use at gatherings during holidays, it’s only seven minutes long. If you could just gather everybody into the living room, put them in front of the TV, say just sit for seven minutes and you can play and it’ll make it a spiritual event, which it is. This is the birthday of Christ and sometimes at the Christmas gatherings. There’s nothing about Christ. And here’s your chance to put Christ back in Christmas in your home.

And with people coming over, play the seven minute DVD. It’ll be a part of this package and maybe some of your family will come to know Christ. Wouldn’t that be great? Plus five of my articles that we’ve selected out which will be helpful to you. And you can call in and tell our operators you want to get the hundred dollar Christmas special. You can do that over the phone by credit card and we’ll ship that right out to you.

We hope that that will be a way of evangelizing. We have a plan behind this and that’s where we’re hoping that we can enable you and equip you to be able to reach people during the holidays with the Gospel of Christ and take advantage of this Christmas like you’ve never done before. We had a lady come by yesterday. I mentioned it earlier that has a cleaning service. She has 23 customers and she got 23 of the How Perman is your salvation CDs and she plans to give each of her customers one to lead them to Christ here at the holidays.

Isn’t that wonderful? I think it’s great. And I tell you, if we had more people doing that, we could turn this world around. I think as we would lead people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Anyway, you can call our operators at the 1-800-number. 1-800-576-3771. Again, we’re going to Israel. I hope that you will consider that, and we need to get you thinking right now so you can make that decision shortly because we’re getting close to March, believe it or not, and you need to make plans and we need to get you scheduled.

So, call us about the trip information or download it off my home page on the website by going to Bibleline news and you’ll find everything you want to know about the Israel trip. It’s going to be safe. I’ve been 13 times. This will be trip number 14 for me. I wouldn’t take you in the harm’s way. And so, I believe you’ll have a wonderful time. We’re going to be exclusively in Israel. Flying on the safest airlines in the world, the Israeli airline, L.L.

will have a great time. Call and get the information and let us know. We are going to Tammy in St. Petersburg and Tammy. Welcome to Bibleline. Thanks for waiting through the break. I had another question. Do you believe? When we were called up and we, and when we were Christ, the Savior in Christ, you don’t think we will be able to have children in his new kingdom and his new plan? No, we will not. Once we are given our resurrection bodies, the Bible says in Matthew 22.30 that we will not marry nor be given in marriage.

So we will no longer procreate, and so you’ll know loved ones and enjoy their fellowship, but we will not be having any more children. Okay. Okay. Matthew 2230. That was Tammy in St. Petersburg and great question. We have Hilton in Memphis, Tennessee and Hilton. Welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. I I met a girl yesterday but we had a hard time trying to tell her that is a father sign in the Holy Ghost and it’s all in one.

And we told her to pray for the father in the name of Jesus. And she thinks it’s three different people and I want to know where is it easy. Or that she could understand it is the Father finding the Holy Ghost, but it’s all in two ones. Well, there are numerous verses, and let me give you a couple from John’s gospel. If you’ll turn to John 14, verse 16, Christ says, I, as Jesus, will pray the Father, that’s God the eternal Father, and he the Father shall give you another comforter, that’s the Holy Spirit, did He may abide with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth.

So you have all three members of the Godhead all in that one verse. Verse 26 of John 14 says, but the Comforter, it says which is the Holy Spirit, that’s the third eternal person of the Godhead whom the Father will send, that’s the first member of the Godhead, the eternal Father, in my name, that’s Jesus. So you again have all three members of the Godhead all in one verse and there are so many. It’s quite clear in the New Testament that this is the way to go.

And then John 14, 6, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man come us unto the Father but by me. So to go to the Father, we have to go through Jesus Christ and you’re exactly right. We pray to the Father through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of course instructs us so so that we can pray scripturally and get yes answers to our prayer. So Hilton, I hope that helps. Alright, I’m on my teller that you said John 14, 14, 14, 14, 16.

16, John 14, 16, and John 14, 26. That’s just a handful there, but there’s lots more.’-Alright, see ya. Keep listening there in Memphis. Alright, thank you, Summer. You’re welcome and it’s Hilton in Memphis, Tennessee and we are now going to John in North Port, Florida, which is south of Tampa and welcome to Bibleline. Good morning, Dr. Hank. Merry Christmas to you, by the way. Same to you. I called about a week ago or so about my son. I told I think I explained to you about him being involved in the Muslim religion and the and stuff and uh…

i listened to an earlier caller on your show john from ten of c yes having a similar problem and if i make if i make make a comment to him that might help okay i fell into the trap like he seems to have fell into somewhat about being resentful and get angry because men like to you know feel like they’re respected in your home and if you’re not you feel it makes you feel uh… empty inside but i hope that john you don’t fall into the trap of resentment like i had for a while because if you do it’s like a friend of mine told me it’s like drinking poison opening other person’s gonna die it doesn’t work and uh…

i know it does say in the new testament to bring your request to the lord and he’ll listen to you and and uh… your your uh… answer to him dr lemse room about uh… him uh… getting counseling that helps too i had a similar situation with my wife she’s a she’s a good wife but she’s lacking when it comes to the discipline thing is kind of like she just kind of turns her head and hopes it’s gonna go away and it doesn’t you know and uh…

but sometimes i think you just have to just get into the word and get closer to christ And if you pray for me, John, if you’re listening, I’ll pray for you too because I haven’t quite got a handle on it myself, but I’m working on it. Well, I sure thank you for sharing with him, and I’m sure he’s listening right now. And that’s a struggle, and it doesn’t get solved in one day, that’s for sure. But like you say, if you’ve got that resentment and bitterness, it’s like you say drinking poison, hoping the other person dies, you’re the one that’s being killed.

Yeah, and it said we’ve got a lot. It’s fairly common. It’s not that we like to think that it’s just happening to us, but I find out it’s happening all over it There’s a lot of rebellion in the world right now Against all forms of authority And it starts right now, of course So well, thank you for your time doctor. You’re so welcome and you know Isaiah Chapter three talking about the latter days tells us that children would become the oppressors and then an interesting thought here because we’re We are talking about that and we are seeing it actually happen.

It says in verse 4 of Isaiah chapter 3, and the context is talking about the last days which we are living in, I will give children to be their princes and babies shall rule over them and the people shall be oppressed and it says the child shall behave himself proudly against the older person and the base person against the honorable so we’re certainly uh… seeing that uh… happen in our world today and we’re now good excuse me good to go to donald in that Tampa florida and donald welcome to bible on your hello yeah you’re on the air don i’ll just find this uh…

patreon yes uh… first of all i would like to thank you for much for your program uh… your inspiration to me and your blessing to all those that listen to you thank you better question concerning john sixteenth seven all right at the holy spirit comes to repur the world of the right to the judgment yes uh… uh… the holy spirit uh… exist and comes into the born again christian at the time that they accept salvation. In this chapter of course talking with him, bringing people to Christ as he convicts the unsaved world of their need of Christ.

How does he convict the unsafe world? Well I know that certainly as the word is brought across their path that he applies the word and brings conviction. But I think also you know it says here that Basically everybody, you know, everybody in the world knows that they’re a sinner. It seems like that guilt is universal and guilt comes because of sin and it seems like everybody recognizes it. It also talks here about a day of judgment. It seems like everybody in all cultures seem to realize there’s a day when they’ll stand before a higher power if they don’t know anything more than that and they’ll give an account one day.

And so around the world we see that’s universal. I think it’s all the Holy Spirit showing them that they’re sinners and that they’re going to give an account one day to a Holy God. But if they seek the Lord, then obviously the Lord will reveal the truth to them. I think the interesting one here in verse 9 he convicts the will of sin and notice the sin that he convicts men of which is the only sin that can cause you to go to hell is that of unbelief and it says of sin because they believe not on me.

And obviously as we see the Word of God, you know, as I witness to people that are lost, as they hear the Word of God, as we present it to them or in track form or CD or message or in a church service or individual witness, the Lord uses that word to bring a conviction of their need of Jesus as the Savior. And I think this is really what it’s saying and how the Lord is working. The Holy Spirit is constantly working to bring lost people to himself.

In John 8, the concept of conscience, does the Holy Spirit work through conscience? I think so, but sometimes our conscience can be flawed, you know, in the sense that basically it’s like an alarm system within us that is programmed by what we put in. And some people seemingly have no conscience. And so I’m not in every case, but certainly it talks about in… Timothy, about people having their conscience seared with a hot iron. I know that if you get a burn on your body, usually it kills the nerve endings and you have no feeling where you have a scar.

And apparently the likeness there is that people can sear their conscience to the place where they have no conscience. And it seems like the serial killers are in that group. They just seem to have no conscience at all. They don’t have any remorse for taking and others life and so on. So therefore I think the conscience is part of what God puts into us to help guide us. When we, you know, as a Christian, we reprogram our minds with the Scriptures and then our conscience becomes fine-tuned so that things will bother us.

I know that when I hear people curse, that just bothers me big time and that’s different things that violate the things that I know to be true and to be right. And I think that happens in the Christian, but the unsaved can sear their conscience as they go along. But the Holy Spirit overrides all that. I think that the Holy Spirit’s working is more powerful than conscience. So what you’re saying is that the Holy Spirit is present in the entire world, salvation indwelled in those people that have chosen.

Yeah, those that believe on Christ get the Holy Spirit who comes into their body to indwell them, but the loss to have the Holy Spirit ever working on them, wooing them to try to bring them to Christ. Okay, is there a clue that conveys that? I’ve not been able to find yet. About the Holy Spirit doing that? Uh-huh. Well, trying to think, I think, you know, in Romans chapter 1, I love verses 18 to the end of the chapter, it talks about that God places the knowledge in every person of the the fact that he exists.

It says that everybody knows that there is a God from the get-go, although they may not know about Christ. And it says that in verse 19, for God hath showed it unto them. Then it goes on to talk about how that they become responsible. And I think the Holy Spirit is involved in convicting them of their need to find this God that they’re going to to give an account to one day. And then it talks about those who do not seek and do not obviously respond to God seeking them that they go off on a path where they go further and further and further into darkness.

But those that seek will find the promises there everywhere in the Bible. Jeremiah 17, excuse me, chapter 29 verse 13, you shall seek me and find me when you shall search me with all your heart. So the Lord is certainly involved in the whole process and I trying to think of a good verse that actually has the Holy Spirit mentioned in it doing that, but certainly there’s no verse where there is evangelism taking place where the Holy Spirit is not involved in the process of bringing that person to Christ.

I’ll have to think about it, try to give you good verse. I might come up with one before the program is over and I’ll Keep listening. Okay, well, thank you very much. I do appreciate it. Thank you, Donald. And certainly, we know Christ is deeply involved in evangelism. It says in Luke 19, 10, the Son of Man is come to seek him to save that which was lost. John 3, 17, it says, the Son of Man has not come to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

And so, verse after verse tells us about Christ, God is certainly involved in evangelism. on 3.16 it says, God is the love of the world. All of mankind that he gave his only begotten son. So Christ came and died as a result of God’s desire for all to be saved. And the Holy Spirit I know is equally involved as all three members of the Godhead working together are attempting to bring us the salvation. But God has given us a free will choice to accept the reject that we can certainly say no and obviously if we do that’s a foolish decision on our part because you’ll remain eternally separated from God if you die without Christ.

We have Armando in St. Petersburg and welcome to Bible Eye. Good morning Dr. Lindstrom. Good morning. I just want to make a comment John from Tennessee asking you. Yes I agree with the previous scholar that Forgives that boy before he tried to leave him to cry in it to his anger Most of the time it’s not going to work. I tried to leave him to Christ. I forget him. If it doesn’t work then maybe he doesn’t have high rates to go.

He values at that age. But things work out when you talk. Amen. Well, I thank you for that good advice Armando and thank you for calling in. You’re welcome. All right, that was a good concise bit of advice there from Armando in St. Petersburg. We have Andre in Tampa, Florida and Andre. uh… welcome to bible paid up uh… i was a little bit of a problem the call of government that believe that part of the and the sun uh…

maybe i think that they should take and make sure that it is as white state because it could be evident that he’s on paper this is like second with the six fourteen total that the not are you know together with unbelievable for work fellowship after i just missed what i tried to do this and what millions have liked with doctors. Okay, that’s a very good point. He could be his wife doesn’t know the Lord. And certainly those two need to be on the same page.

And that is essential. And hopefully he can make sure that she knows the Lord and then they can come together with a plan as to how they will set the rules for the home and discipline and so on and have a talk in love with that young man and hopefully lead him to Christ and get him to understand that if he’s going to live there that he needs to follow the rules and he’s under the parrots. You know in Ephesians 6 it says children obey your parents in the Lord and obviously he’s probably not even a believer but as a Christian child living in a home the Bible says certainly and of course it’s the rule for any children as long as you’re living with your folks, it says you’re to obey them, but not necessarily if they ask you to do something wrong, but in the

Lord it says in Ephesians chapter 6. Andre, thank you for that good advice, and it looks like a lot of people are jumping on board to pray for John, and we have two John’s that are needing prayer for their sons. We have Eden in Port Charlotte, Florida, calling in, leaves these off-air questions. I’ll try to go through these quickly. What is the last sign that will occur before the Rapture? The answer is there is no sign necessarily for the Rapture except for the apostasy of Christianity.

We see that. We are right there. It says in 2 Timothy chapter 4 that the time will come, speaking of the end times, when they will no longer endure sound doctrine. The fact that we have such doctrinal departure today, in most churches, it’s a sign that that we are not very far away from the Rapture, it’s very close. When will the two prophets come? According to Revelation, they’ll come immediately following the Rapture in Revelation 11. It says they will witness the first three and a half years of the tribulation period.

I believe Moses and Elijah come back and are those two prophets. Number three, Eden says, I left the church. How do I get the Holy Spirit back? Well, the Holy Spirit never leaves you, Eden, if you truly trusted the Lord as your Savior. Jesus says the Holy Spirit comes to an dwell you forever. Ephesians 1.13 says he seals you until you’re in heaven.

So if you read Ephesians 1.13, you never can lose the Holy Spirit. If you get saved, the Holy Spirit comes in and dwells you. And according to Ephesians 1.13, he seals you. He is the seal until the day of redemption. means when Christ comes back, you are sealed by God the Holy Spirit cannot be lost and cannot lose the Holy Spirit. Thank you Eden for Port Charlotte for calling in. Tim in Pinellas Park says, I’m questioning forgiveness of sin.

Do we have to confess it anymore after you’re born again? Absolutely. And that is in 1 John chapter 1 verse 8. John the Apostles says. He says, if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. But then in verse 9 he says, if we confess, it means to name by name those things which we know to be sin. He, God is just and faithful to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This is a moment by moment thing, really, as we go throughout the day whenever we recognize that we have sinned. to stop right then and confess that. And I do believe we have a video in our archives that will cover that. I can’t think of the title but I think it’s called Confession of Sin. So thank you Tim for calling in from Pinellas Park. We have Claude in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Calls in, off air says I’m so confused. I was baptized at fifteen in the seventy Adventist Church.

I was zealous like Saul for this religion, but as I searched on my own, I gradually abandoned this church. And so obviously, Claude, the problem is you have been taught by a cult church. The seven-day Adventists don’t believe in hell. They believe in soul sleep. They believe in salvation by works and so many things. So just need to get into your Bible and you’ll become unconfused. But it’s very important that you just abandon all those teachings of LNG white because you’ll stay confused as long as you dip back into those false teachings you came out of.
