That number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to take a look at the Bible first and then we’ll be answering your questions. You know the Bible is the word of God from cover to cover. I believe even the cover it says, holy Bible, we don’t have a book full of holes, but we have God’s inspired word. And Jesus, of course, believed that every letter and every marking of a letter, as it was set down in the original autographs, was set down exactly as God would have it to be set down.

You know, he said in Matthew 5, 18, heaven and earth will pass away. But his words will never pass away, and he says, not even one jot or one tittle shall in any wise pass from the Old Testament till all be fulfilled. You know, in the Hebrew alphabet there are 22 characters and the smallest character is called a jot. The smallest marking of a letter is called a tittle. And you’ll find that Jesus is saying that not one small letter or even the smallest marking of a letter in the Hebrew alphabet will pass till all be fulfilled.

Isn’t that exciting? We have an incredible Bible. And you can obviously trust what God says in His Word and know that it is absolutely inspired of God. And so we’re going to take a look at some of those things. You know, by the way, God gave seven feast days to Israel back in Leviticus chapter 23. All of them were a prophetic picture of the two comings of Jesus Christ. And we’re entering in now to the time when those feast days come into play.

Jesus Christ was crucified on the preparation of the Passover and he fulfilled the Old Testament feast day, the picture of the Passover lambing offered up for your sins and for mine. 1 Corinthians 5 verse 7 says, For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. So Jesus Christ died exactly when Israel was offering up their lamb, the sinless Lamb of God that would be slain to pay for the sins of the world. John the Baptist when he saw Jesus and John 1.29 said, Behold the Lamb of God which take it the way the sin of the world.

He recognized this was God’s Lamb and that Jesus came in fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies and pictures and then he came to fulfill the Passover. Remember the ten plagues in Egypt? The last was that the angel of the Lord would come through Egypt at midnight and every home that took a lamb and slayed the lamb and applied the blood to the doorpost. God would pass over those homes in judgment and spare them. But for those who did not apply the blood, those that did not offer up a lamb, then the the angel of death would come and every first born in every home would die.

Wow. Well, you know, it’s a picture of what Christ would do that if you apply the blood of Christ by faith, trusting that He died for you and shed His blood as the only means of your salvation, that He would pass over you in judgment and that you would never go to hell. The believer is safe. believer is safe from ever going to hell. The believer is saved and delivered from going to hell. The believer is cleansed of his sin.

You know, I love that hymn, my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. Have you ever sung that wonderful hymn? You know, it’s interesting that it talks about his blood and righteousness. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. It’s the blood that washes away our sin. But replacing the fact that our sins have been washed away, his righteousness is given in exchange for our sin, and God sees us as righteous.

Both are important. The blood of Christ washes away our sin. And then Christ’s righteousness is given to the believer, and the believer can be assured of going to heaven. My hope, my expectation, is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and His righteousness. The blood washes away the sin, and then His righteousness replaces that which is washed away, and God sees the believer as righteous as though we had never sinned. Isn’t that exciting? You know, some of the hymn writers had some great insight into the Scriptures and that’s one of the great hymns.

No doubt about it. And it’s built upon His blood and righteousness. His blood washes away our sin and then His righteousness replaces our sinfulness that God looks upon before we’re saved and He sees us as righteous. And therefore we’re eligible to go to heaven at the moment we believe. Salvation is not based upon works. My hope is not built on my works, or my church membership, or my baptism, or my confirmation. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and His righteousness.

Well, obviously, this is what the Scriptures teach, and the hymn writer happened to have it right. And this is a great hymn. The Lord is the Lord of the faith. And as we sing these great hymns, hopefully we understand what we’re singing about. Somebody once said that more lies are told in church than in the other place. Why? Because people sing these wonderful hymns and don’t believe them. I think that’s true. A lot of people sing hymns and they don’t believe the words are singing.

And therefore they tell some great lies, don’t they? Write to God as they sing a hymn they don’t believe. Some of these great hymns of the faith are not. tell the story, just like the Bible tells us. In any case, Christ died fulfilling the feast of Passover. Then the feast of Unleavened Bread was next. It was a picture of Christ’s body being buried, the sinless body of Christ, being broken at the cross and placed in the tomb and being buried.

And then we know the third feast, the feast of first fruits was a picture of Christ’s resurrection. By the way, that feast always occurred on a Sunday, and Jesus rose on the first day of the week and fulfilled that beautiful type. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 20 through 22 says that Christ is the first fruits of the resurrection. So obviously he’s the fulfillment of this Old Testament type of how Christ would rise from the dead on the feast of first fruit state.

The fourth feast was the feast of Pentecost and guess what? Fifty days after the resurrection, the word Pentecost means fifty days Christ sent the third person of the Trinity, God the Holy Spirit, to indwell the believers of this age. And so those first four feast days pictured those first coming events, the crucifixion of Christ, the picture given by the Passover lamb being slain, the burial of Christ’s body, the feast of unleavened bread, the resurrection of Christ again from the dead, the feast of first fruits, and then the beginning of this present church age with the feast of Pentecost.

There are three more feasts, and they all picture second coming events, and the next feast, by the way, is the Feast of Trumpets. I believe it’s a picture of the rapture, I always start looking in the fall when the last three feasts will come to pass. And since the first four came to pass literally on the day, I think we have every reason to believe the last three feasts will happen literally on the day and therefore the rapture, I believe will happen on the feast of trumpets.

occurs in the fall and so wow as we begin to approach the fall let’s be looking up Christ could come this year. I’m not a date setter but definitely we ought to be looking all the time for Christ to return and certainly the Bible gives us some hints as to when he will and that’s one of the big hints. The feast of atonement is the next one which pictures the tribulation period Israel atoning for her sins and being prepared for the receiving of her Messiah.

I’m excited about the season and I hope you are too. We’re about ready to celebrate the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ. I hope you’re using the R-word and not the E-word. The R-word being resurrection, the E-word being Easter. Let’s get rid of the E-word altogether. That’s the name of the mother of Baal, Easter. In English is the derivative of Baal’s mother’s name, Astroth, as she is seen in the Old Testament. The short form of Astrar is E-star, and the English word is Easter.

And so we don’t want to mention her name at all, do we? I don’t want to. I don’t celebrate Easter, sex goddess, the mother of Baal, I celebrate the resurrection of Jesus again from the dead. So we call that Sunday, Resurrection Sunday. I don’t use the E word. And we call the special events, resurrection events, whatever they might be. Our young people are going to be doing a resurrection play, a drama, and it’s a resurrection drama. the candy we’ll give out to the children.

And everything, we just slip that word, resurrection in and replace the E word with the R word. I hope you’ll do that too. I believe as Christians, we give a great witness when we talk about the resurrection. We actually have a negative witness, I believe when we use the word Easter, which is the word I’m recommending we eliminate from our vocabulary. Let’s get rid of the E word. Let’s use the R word. I hope you’ve trusted Christ. That’s the most important decision you’ll ever make.

The moment you do, God saves you. You’re forgiven. You’re given the gift of eternal life. You can be certain of going to heaven from that moment on forever. We have a lot of off-the-air questions and I know we’re going to take some live questions and I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline and the phone number here is 1-800-576-3771. Off the air, James in Tampa, Florida calls in and says, where is the temple going to be? be built? Answer on the Temple Mount right where it once stood before.

If you look at a picture of Jerusalem, generally you’ll see the Temple Mount area which has two Arab mosques today sitting on top, the Dome of the Rock, which is the building with the Golden dome. The rock is the exposed surface of the mountain, which is Mount Mariah, supposedly the place where Abraham offered up Isaac on that very spot. To the south you have the El-Aksa Mosque, which is the mosque with a silver dome, to the southernmost part of the Temple Mount.

And that one means in Arabic, for the most point. Supposedly, Mohammed took a ride at midnight on his flying horse sometime in the past, and the first and most point that he ever flew to was supposedly Jerusalem. I don’t believe any of this, but he flew on his flying horse and he landed there at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. And of course, if you have a flying horse, you’ve got to tie it up or you won’t have a ride home, soil a year or two ago, saying that the supposed midnight ride of Mohammed with his flying horse was not to Jerusalem because apparently there was a mosque already standing when Mohammed landed with his flying horse and there were people there who greeted him that were Muslim and therefore they really believe it is talking about Mecca, not Jerusalem.

And boy that changes everything Because the whole significance of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is the fact that Mohammed took a ride on his flying horse and landed there at Al-Aqsa. And his horse, El-Borak, was tied to the whaling wall, told Mohammed to slide the leap on and fly back to Saudi Arabia. A lot of nonsense out there, I’ll tell you. And if you buy into that, then I could probably say the Brooklyn Bridge. The Bible alone is the word of God and there’s only one Savior and that’s Jesus Christ and you must trust Him in order to be saved.

We’re now going to go to some live callers. You’re welcome to call in. The number is 1-800-576-3771 and so you’re welcome to dial us up. By the way, James said also concerning the rapture James who called in, off air from Tampa. does the following away have anything to do with the rapture? And the answer is yes. Actually, you’re talking about 2 Thessalonians 2, 2, verse 3, where it says there will be a following away first. Actually, the Greek from which is translated really means departure.

And it’s a departure of the Holy Spirit, which when the Holy Spirit goes, we go, that is the rapture. And when the Holy Spirit is taken away, He departs, we go, and then the Bible says that man of sin, the Antichrist, will be revealed. What a great verse it tells us that definitely the rapture is pre-tribulational, that we do not go through any part of the tribulation, that there has to be this departure of the the Holy Spirit in the verses that follow it talks about he that hindrith sin in this world will continue to hinder sin until he be taken out of the way.

He there being the Holy Spirit in us believers will be taken out and then the Antichrist will be revealed after the Rapture. By the way we also have B in St. Petersburg just called in and asked about Daniel 1137, he was told that this means a Muslim will be the Antichrist and of course that is nonsense. The Antichrist will be Roman. If you read Daniel 926 it says the people that destroyed the temple and the city of Jerusalem. After Jesus the Messiah was killed, the pay for our sins was crucified would be.

The people out of which the Antichrist would come. And it was the Romans who destroyed Jerusalem in 1870. And so the Antichrist will be Roman. And obviously the United States is Roman in origin. And we believe the Antichrist will come out of this country. At the time when it actually occurs, he’ll be the president of the United States. Look out. I think we’re getting close. And this could happen in the very near future. we’re going to go to add in tampa ed calls in from tampa and welcome to bible on your own year morning good morning i have a question i have a new co-worker and uh…

i have known in long and he’d be we did we discuss spiritual thing several times and i asked him what translation does he use because he wanted to get together for a bible study and he said uh… the new world translation that’s joselyn’s bro hank i have begun to witness to him and i’ve been doing it very slowly but i don’t want to offend this man i i’d love to win him for christ but my question is uh… i’ve got advice in the past that you know we’re to stay away from the kingdom message and try to stick with basic salvation for like uh…

first john that that you can have salvation and that you can know it because they have no assurance absolutely it can’t can you give me some advice from good places to go without going into the kingdom message and prophecy and all of that they’re not even right on christ first coming they certainly can’t be right on the second can you give me some advice besides first john i hear from john is very good there are two areas that you need to really get resolved when you’re talking to joe’s witness number one is that jesus christ is god Amen.

I like Romans 824 where Jesus said, if you believe not that I am the word he is an Intellics in your King James, but it should, that means it’s added by the translator, it’s not in the original crisis saying there, that he is the very God that appeared to Moses at the burning bush where God identifies his name as I am. And Jesus said, if you believe not that I am, you shall die in your sin. So, that is Romans where?

No, no, it’s John’s Gospel, chapter eight, verse 24. They don’t have a good answer for that, and don’t let them wiggle, and don’t let them get out of it. But Jesus Christ is the God that appeared to Abraham, rather than Moses, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of the Bible, the God of the Old Testament, he is Jehovah or Yahweh. And unless they believe that, they’re going to obviously not be saved. Secondly, they believe in works for salvation.

And one of the best passages that they don’t have a good answer for is Romans 4-5 where it says, but to him that worked if not, but believe it on Christ who justifies the ungodly, his faith in Christ is counted for righteousness, very powerful, and even their new world translation doesn’t help them in those passages I just cited. So you can even let him use his new world translation. I’ve been using the new, I have a copy of it and I’ve been using that with it because as you know the people that translated that they were very ignorant so you can find the gospel in their Bible.

Oh absolutely. I’ll add to it pray for you that you’ll lead him to Christ. That’s wonderful and go for it. Well how about this in John, I mean Revelation 21, John Wright. that I saw a new heaven and new earth and everything has been new, everything is new, but when you get down to verse 8 there’s something that’s not new and that’s the lake of fire. That’s not new. That’s not recreated. That’s right. They’re still there. Do you suggest using that because they don’t believe in a little hell?

That is a powerful, powerful presentation. I love that. That’s one thing that is not going to be done away with. and hell will be there forever and the johov’s witness who doesn’t recognize who Christ is and is trying to work their way into the kingdom will wind up eventually in hell and and obviously we don’t want that to happen to them and and I pray that you’ll be able to win him out of this false cult. How about that first thing John 8 what?

24. Now I know that they’re told that that they shouldn’t go outside of anything that the watchtower teaches but jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free if you do have the truth then you should have nothing to fear exactly after that that fear you should have nothing to fear from what i say He’s not me, I can only get it to his eardrums. He seems to be open for it. Perhaps he’s very dissatisfied with it.

He came out of Romanism and went right into the watchtower. So I don’t think the man has ever heard the gospel of the grace of God. Bill has not and many Roman Catholics have been captured by the witnesses and have become witnesses and so I’ll pray with you and thank you so much Ed for calling in today. Thank you, all right. That was Ed in Tampa, Florida witnessing to a Jehovah’s Witness and by the way that New New World Translation is essentially the same as the NIV.

Even the title is the same. The New World Translation, the equivalent is New International Version, word for word. It’s essentially the same. Both drop the same 44 verses in entirety and both have the same flaws. It seems like the NIV and the New World Translation are almost identical. might as well just by the cheaper version, they witnessed the sell their new world for less than you can buy the NIV out there in the bookstore. But I don’t recommend either one.

That’s a terrible, terrible translation. We have the NIV quiz here. We’ll send out for free, which if you take that quiz, you’ll get a zero if you use the NIV because it just eliminates all those verses that are, you know, gone from the Bible. Anyway, we had to take break here, don’t go away. We’ll be right back in just one moment. No way. Bibleline will be back in a moment. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771.

Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline. We’re coming to you from Tampa, Florida from our studios at the Calvary Community Church in Tampa where I’m the pastor and we invite you to come out and visit us sometime visit us.

dvd presentations of uh… video uh… where you can uh… watch uh… and look at my bible as we talk on the different doctrines of the bible the latest one we have is on the biblical gift of tongues that’s available dvd or video it’s about sixty four minutes worth of presentation i think you’ll enjoy that along with the many others that we have available here on Bibleline. So that’ll help Bibleline and we need your regular consistent help to be able to keep this program going.

And we need your help. We’re going to go now to the phones and we’re going to go to David in Boca Raton, Florida. By the way, the phone number here is 1-800-576-3771 and David, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. good yes I have a if you could tell me diverse by your heart and work with our faith can freedom work yes we’re having a phone connection problem here with David the answer is in James chapter 2 and it’s saying in James 2 14 what does it profit my brother though man say he have faith and have not works can faith save him and the verse is talking to believers.

He says, what do that profit my brethren? Secondly, it’s not talking about salvation. It’s talking about the Christian life and is talking about rewards one day that will come as a result of your works. Salvation is always David the gift of God and it is not of works, Ephesians 2 8. But after you’re saved, works will bring about reward and and the word prophet, the word gain, the word reward, all speak about things that are earned by the believer after they become saved.

And what James is talking about, if you read verse 12, it says, so do you and so speaky as though that she’ll be judged by the law of liberty. That’s talking about the judgment seat of Christ when believers will be examined as to their works after we die and it will be determined then the degree of reward or loss of reward will receive as we enter heaven. And James is talking about can faith save you from that judgment? It’s not talking about being saved from hell there.

This is talking about the Christian now and he’s saying that can faith save you if you have no works and the answer is no, it will not save you from the consequences of the judgment seat of Christ when you’ll be judged as to what you did and what you spoke and the Bible tells us that there will be tears, there will be regret, there will be sorrow, there will be disappointment and there will be loss of reward but David you cannot lose your salvation.

So once you’re saved you’re saved by faith alone without works but after you’re saved you need to work to have rewards and if you have no works you’ll not be spared or saved the consequences of being at that judgment seat of christ where god will judge you for what you’ve done since you’ve been saved so i hope that i’ll help answer the question for you david and uh… david apparently is not there but that david i hope that uh…

answered the question for you james is talking not about how to be saved from hell but how the believer can be saved from the consequences of the judgment seat of Christ if he doesn’t live for the Lord. We have Irma in Pimbroke, Pines, Florida. And that’s down in South Florida near Hollywood in Fort Lauderdale. And welcome Erma to the Bibleline program. Thank you for taking my call. Fast is Father Lindstrom. Yes. Father Lindstrom. What I want to know is what is wrong with Lent?

If Lent is a time designated by the Church, a time of reflection, to fear to, if anything in your life is preventing you from being closer to God. and through fasting, arms, and prayers, you can come close to God, especially at a time of resurrection. What is wrong with that? Well first of all, it’s totally pagan. There’s no such thing as Lent in your Bible. Nowhere does the Bible over tell us to observe Lent. And Lent was observed long before Christ ever came and was an observance related to bail worship and to fast and pray so that he might be resurrected from the dead.

The counterfeit of Christianity is the resurrection of bail from the dead and the celebration of his mother getting her son back which is what Easter is all about. Obviously we are not pagans, we are Christians and if you study your Bible we are never told to observe that. Unfortunately, the Roman Catholic Church teaches, if you read the Roman Catholic Encyclopedia, that it is a means of earning grace and earning your way to heaven, which is totally false also. The whole system is wrong.

And of course Catholics are told to observe Ash Wednesday. There’s no such thing in the Bible. They’re told to observe not eating meat on Friday during Lent, which is not in the Bible. In fact, the Bible says to prevent people from eating meat is a doctrine of demons. If you read 1 Timothy 4, it says that in the last days, people would be deceived with doctrines coming from demons. And one of those doctrines is the forbid to marry, which the Catholics forbid the nuns and the priests from getting married, which is a doctrine of demons.

Obviously, they have paid a price for that, as you see all of the priests that have been caught with having sex with young children and pedophilia being practiced by the church because they wouldn’t allow their priests to get married. And also the fact that to forbid people to eat meat according to 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 3 is a doctrine of demons. So this is just the whole thing is pagan and not from God but from Satan and the ramifications of the teaching is blasphemous and is actually contrary to the Bible.

So Irma, I hope that answers your question. And now we’re going to go to Adam in Land of Lakes. And Adam, I hope we have a good connection for you here, but Adam, welcome to Bibleline. I’m not getting Adam on that line, so we’re going to go to, let’s see here, we have Wilburn in Richmond, Virginia Wilbur and welcome to Bibleline yes good morning good morning I’m 100% heterosexual I’m not bashing homosexuals but my question is does a Bible through homosexual sin is not genetic well you know God never intended for it if you believe in God as a creator he didn’t create Adam and Steve but he created Adam and Eve and the Bible clearly says it’s an abomination for a to lie with another man as he would with a woman.

And so clearly God says it’s wrong. He never intended that. If you believe the Bible, he did not create, therefore, men too have sex with other men. He created men to have sex with women to procreate the human race. And so clearly, it’s certainly implied, and I believe stated, in the passages you’ll read. Back in Leviticus, there are some very clear statements about homosexual acts being an abomination in the sight of God. There are passages, for example, in chapter 18 of Leviticus, and I’m almost there.

It says in Leviticus, and I am just a page away here. Leviticus 18, verse 22 says, thou shalt not lie with mankind as with woman kind, it is abomination.” That’s a pretty clear verse and certainly states the case. It also says in chapter 20 of Leviticus, verse 13, if a man also lie with mankind as he lieeth with the woman, both of them have committed an abomination, they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

So the Bible is quite clear that homosexuality is a sin, it is an abomination, it is wrong, and if God had intended for that, he would have created Adam and Steve, not Adam and Eve. Alright, thank you so very much. Now we have, interestingly, Adam from Lando Lakes here on the line, and Adam, welcome to Bibleline your own the air. Hey God bless you, Dr. Langstrom, you’re blessed over there, they were trying to tell me that hell was not an eternal act of damnation.

You know what I’m saying? Exactly, they don’t believe in hell just like the Jehovah’s Witnesses. They have a lot of similarities with the Jehovah’s Witnesses and they are clearly wrong. So it is eternal like it is in the Lazarus and the rich men? Well, you know, the Bible talks about it as being eternal damnation, eternal fire, everlasting fire. You know, the same word eternal and everlasting is applied to eternal life. It talks about the Holy Spirit being the eternal spirit.

So if hell is an eternal, then heaven is an eternal, or God is an eternal, and the Holy Spirit is not going to be around eternally and so on. So, So I mean you can’t pick and choose here. The word eternal means eternal and obviously it’s applied to other doctrines as well as the doctrine of hell. So they’re all eternal. Thank you, Pat. Knowledgeful man, God has blessed us with you. Thank you, sir. You’re very welcome. Thank you, Adam, for calling in and the Seventh Adventist obviously are believing in a workspace salvation and do not believe that your sins are blotted out.

You know it’s interesting that the Bible tells us that the Lord blotted our sins out of the cross and the Seventh-day Adventist believes that we have to wait till after Christ is done with the investigative judgment, that He is investigating our works to see whether where the embrace and so there’s no believer at this point until the investigative judgment is over, you can see sins are blotted out. Now that’s contrary to scripture. The Bible says in 1 John 5, 13 that I can right now know that I have eternal life.

I love that verse. 1 John 5, 13 says these things have I written unto you the believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. And so obviously it doesn’t say hope or guess or perhaps or maybe but it says you can actually know that you have eternal life and that’s wonderful. I know I have eternal life. And boy am I so glad I saw that verse the night that I got saved because well I picked up all that real quick and I said that’s wonderful.

If God says it I believe it. That settles it. Okay. In any way, apparently Wilburn calls back with another question here. Does the Bible prove that homosexuality is not genetic? I don’t think there’s a scientific proof, but no, God did not create man that way. Obviously, it’s clear that God says it’s an abomination. He’s the one who created man. He tells us about the purpose of being throughout the Bible, and certainly it is not to have sex, which is a perversion of what he created.

He created a woman for the man, and through the man and a woman together they would have children, and homosexuals aren’t going to have babies unless they try to adopt what they’re trying to do today. But obviously they cannot reproduce. And that is not obviously what God had intended. So it is against nature. It says in Romans chapter 1. So what God created was a way of reproducing ourselves and having children and two homosexuals are not going to have babies.

It is not going to work and they can try, but they’re not going to be able to have children. And obviously that’s against what God created, which is to be natural to have children as a married couple. And therefore he did not create Adam and Steve, but Adam and Eve. Thank you, Wilburn, up there in Richmond, Virginia. I hope that helps a little bit more. And it’s very clear that the Bible says it’s wrong. We’re going to Dwayne in Tampa, Florida.

Dwayne, welcome to Bible Hunt. Hey, John, how you doing? Good. Hey, you gave a guy in the everything about the nation? Yes, that’s John Ankerberg and A-N-K-E-R-B-E-R-G, Ankerberg, and he’s in Chattanooga, Tennessee. And if you have Google, you just put his name in And you’ll get it. I’m sure you can order He has about eight hours of video on the masons that really exposes it. He’s got also some small books and some larger books that really expose the whole masons movement for what it is.

And it’s a secret society and they have some oaths that are shocking that the members have to make. And the Bible condemns that kind of thing of oath taking. And… Could you tell me where that is in the Bible about the oath taking the stuff? Sure, please ask chapter 5, you know, where it talks about making oaths and and so you might want to check that out. Somehow I were having some little phone clicks here that I’m not familiar with.

I hope we can get those things resolved. But thank you for calling in and do you have any trouble getting those resources, Dwayne, calls and our operators will try to research it for you and tell you exactly how to get them. We’re going to Orange City, Florida, and we have Anthony on the line. Anthony, welcome to Bibleline your welcome to be on the air today. Hello, Dr. Hens. Could you read your down? I can hear that reading in the background.

Okay. I want to appreciate you and your show, and thank you so much. You truly blessed, man, from God. I have a question. If a Christian married another Christian, And then they found out that actually their doctrine was different. Because I grew up in the Baptist faith and my wife is SDA. Okay. And I’ve just recently found out a lot of things that aren’t in agreement with. even though they they they use the king james virgin bible i was wondering uh…

well obviously you need to win her over and that means you’re going to do your homework to be able to expose uh… what the seven dad vinis to believe if you go to my website i have several sheets that you can download that will tell you uh… some good things that you can not use uh… but basically the seven ad-vinis are somewhat like the Joe’s witnesses. They believe they’re the 144,000. They believe basically you have to observe the Sabbath and keep the commandments to go to heaven.

And they have a number of interesting doctrines which of course one of the major doctrines that is I think blasphemous is the investigative judgment that I mentioned a moment ago that says that Christ is right now investigating your works to determine whether you’re worthy of grace so that you can be saved. And it’s basically, therefore, salvation by works. And a seven-day Adventist cannot say, I know I have eternal life because they have to wait. And anybody who has to wait until after they die to find out whether they’re going to have it or not is really waiting because they believe they have to work their way to heaven and that salvation is based upon works.

So we’ll pray for you, but you need to try to lead her to Christ and you need to get some good information into your homework on me. But it’s not grounds for divorce. No it isn’t. Okay, I just want to make sure that I’m in agreement with God. There you go. Yeah, but you need to definitely bring her over to the truth. And hopefully we can help you. If you have any questions about resources, call us after the show and we can maybe suggest some other things you can read.

And again, John Ankerberg that we mentioned earlier with the fellow that called in about the Masons has some excellent stuff that you can use as well that you can get through him. I think you could find him on the internet or by telephone you can call John Ankerberg Ministries in Chattanooga, Tennessee and get them to send out some material on the 7th Adventist. Okay, thank you, sir. Alright, that is Anthony. In Orange City, he must be listening out of the land, Florida, as we’re on up in northeastern Florida on a station out of the land.

We want to now go to Brad in Richmond, Virginia. Brad, you’re on the air. Welcome to Bibleline. Hi, Dr. Hank. I know lint isn’t in the Bible and Easter is a mispronunciation of resurrecting Sunday, but our whole faith is full of rattle and of mystery, religion, doctrines, and… Amalgamation of different themes. I agree. such as the, well even the ceremony of symbolically eating the flesh and drinking the blood of a dying and rising god is hundreds of years older.

He was older than Christianity and the themes of being born again and being saved came from the cult of Isis. So our faith is full of the Christian doctrines that are, it was inescapable those things had those rights and communal services for hundreds of years. And I believe Paul, Paul being born in Tarsis, must have been very well aware of all those parents who probably can Jewish converts or whatever. He was very well aware of these ceremonies and the cult of Addis and everything.

Well, obviously when he went to Ephesus, for example, He destroyed their idol making business there. there as a worshiped Diana, which is another form of astrath. And I’ve been to Ephesus and these other revolution churches in Turkey and these false religious systems were prevalent. In fact, in Delphi, Greece, I saw a temple that predates Christ and there you have the sign of the cross on there. Although it’s not a cross, it’s a tea in Amish to Tamuz, which of course is the origination of this whole thing way back in Genesis chapter 10.

So I mean it was everywhere long before Grace Ever came and it’s the counterfeit and that’s why we have to go back to the Bible and know what is truth and what isn’t and get rid of the nonsense. Right, but Paul wasn’t the first to come under fire for hurting the idol making business. If you read the Old Testament, there are several instances of that. I was just reading last night where they, I forgot what book it was, but the, where the hero of the story had gone into the temple and destroyed the…

the pisonic and then you know when the people woke up the next morning and saw their all defiled. Absolutely. Israel was always battling that system and many times, as it says in Judges chapter 2, they forsook the Lord and worshiped Baal and his mother, Astroth. And God, of course, was hot against Israel because of this. And he was very angered by it. And obviously, today we still have it creeping into our Christian churches where they don’t even realize it’s paganism and the people are not alerted by anybody.

I don’t know why anybody doesn’t speak up about it because definitely these are non-Christian practices that churches are urging Christians to practice and even the Roman Catholic Church this past week is talking about necromancy and praying to the dead where they had their people in France praying for this nun who who had Parkinson’s disease and they prayed to John Paul II. And supposedly two minutes after his death, he healed her. And now this is the basis of a miracle so he can be made a saint.

And the whole thing is crazy. It’s absolutely practiced, it’s forbidden by the Bible that are being done. And plus the Bible teaches, St. Hood is instant. The moment you trust Christ, you’re made a saint by the blood of Christ. that we are declared saints at the moment we believe. I hadn’t heard that about the phone. Glad you stay on top of these things, Dr. Hank, because I don’t have time for it. I know it. It’s such a phone on the radio, and it’s very enlightening.

It really is a wild world out there. It’s hard to keep up with it all, but thanks for calling in. Sure. Thank you, Dr. Hank. That was Brad up in Richmond, Virginia. And yeah, that’s apparently the investigations begun now so they can be at a fight. This Pope John Paul the second and go through the process of making a saint which is contrary to scripture because obviously you’re made a saint the moment you believe by the death of Christ.

It says in Hebrews 10-10 by the which will we are sanctified. That’s the verb form of the word that in the noun form is a saint. You are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. So when Christ died, we become sanctified through believing or trusting in His death for us at the cross of Calvary. We have a Stacy in Land and Lakes Florida and Stacy, welcome to Bibleline. Hi, Dr. Hank. I had recently picked up from your library, the received on purpose, spoke about Rick Warren.

And of particular interest, and maybe you could help me describe it to others, is the Ephesians 4, 5, and 6 about God is in everything? What is the difference between omnipotent omnipresent and then… Does Paul’s got his in everything? Well, you know, there’s this thing of pantheism where God is in everything and so the people that worship the trees and the bugs and the insects and everything else are are basically pantheists and that has been around since the beginning of time.

But God is the creator of everything and obviously he’s omnipresent, but he is not, you know, he is not the tree and he’s not the insect and and although he in dwells in us. He is separate from us and this is the confusion that’s out there. A lot of Rick Warren’s teaching buys into this thing and this global peace movement is based upon those kind of belief systems where it really is taking us away from the one true living God the Bible speaks about who created everything but we’re not to worship the creation but the the Creator who created it and Romans one makes that clear.

I’m out of time, and I wish I had more time to discuss that with you, but we’re out of time. We’re going to have to end it for today, but I hope you’ve trusted Jesus as your Savior if you’re listening, if you haven’t. The only way to heaven is to trust Christ and I hope you keep looking up. Jesus is coming. We’ll be back Lord willing tomorrow. We’ve been listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline ministries of Tampa, Florida.
