The Bible is clear that we can know when it is near. The times and the seasons we can know that. So we don’t set a date but we do know that we are living in the times when Christ will definitely return. We are going to get into the Bible and we are going to take our calls. already have people calling in the numbers 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. So if you’ll give us a call, we’ll get you up online and as soon as we finish our study in the word of God, we’ll take our callers and answer your questions live over the year.

So in the last book of the Bible, in the book of Revelation, in the very final verses, we have the very final words of Jesus Christ quoted here for us. And it says there that the Spirit and the bride say, come and let him hear the hearth say come and let him that is the thirst come and whosoever will let him take of the water of life freely. What a beautiful, beautiful invitation this is. And these words are an invitation to every member of the human race to receive God’s forgiveness and the gift of eternal life by trusting Christ as their Savior.

This is the final invitation given in the Bible. It’s the last time God invites us to be saved. And so here eternal life is offered free to whosoever will. Notice it says whosoever will let him take of the water of life freely. It’s free. According to Romans 623, the gift of God is free. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Chapter 16 also expresses the salvation of the gift for God’s soul of the world that he gave his only begotten son and verse after verse bears that on.

Here we have again the gospel message simply put and easily understood. You know God seems to say here in the book of Revelation chapter 22, hands off the gospel message. It’s not to be tampered with, it’s not to be altered or changed. Look at what Jesus says right after He gives that invitation. He says, I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in the book.

If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away His part out of the book of life and out of the holy city and from the things which are written in this book. That’s a pretty powerful warning there that we’re not to tamper. And I believe it’s tampering with the message of the gospel, which is exactly what Jesus just spoke in that verse 17, where he gives the last and final invitation before the Bible is concluded and we close the cover.

Well, God says, don’t mess with the message. Don’t change it, don’t alter it. And yet we see that happening all the time, don’t we? The book of Revelation He reveals Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind. We read in Revelation 1-5, unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Every member of the human race has sinned and needs to be washed from his sin by the blood of Christ. God offers eternal life to everyone who will simply receive that free gift by simply trusting Christ.

To add or subtract from this message is an effect to cancel the message, to nullify the message, to make it of none effect. You know we’re told in 1 Corinthians 1, 17 that we’re to preach the gospel not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. Interesting, isn’t it? If you try to be creative with your words and you’re not careful, you could actually nullify, make void, cancel the very invitation that God offers to mankind.

Because his message is one of what God has done for us, not what we do for him. And so if you change it or alter it, you add to it or subtract from it, it becomes a curse. And God warns about that here in the book of Revelation chapter 22. Salvation is by grace and not by works, and it says in Ephesians 2 8, by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works.

Let’s say amen, should boast or brag. You know, the word religion comes from two Latin words, re and legio. Re means to get back or go back, and legio means to bind. So religion then means to bind back. Religions can’t save. Religions are man’s efforts to bind himself back to God. They are Satan-inspired. says of the religions of the world, behold you are of nothing and your work is of not and abomination is he that chews with you back in Isaiah 41, 24.

So religions will not save you. In fact, you can choose any religion you want and they’ll all take you to help. Every one of them. There’s not one religion that can save. Salvation is in a person. in the person of Jesus Christ. And the plan of salvation given in the Bible is not a religion. True Christianity is not a religion. It is obviously the very opposite of religion because the Bible teaches the God that for us what we could not do for ourselves and he provides a Savior who completely saves us not based upon what we do, but based upon what he did for us at the cross.

I was raised in church where I heard I had to work my way to heaven. I was led to believe that it would be a big scale one day, and books would be pulled out that would list all the works that I had done good and bad. And they would be read off and works would be represented by weight supplied to the scale and I’d watch the scale hopefully so that it would tip in my favor and let me into heaven.

And that was all just a wrong teaching. such thing in the Bible. There is no scale. We are not judged on the basis of our works. We are judged on the basis of whether or not we have Christ. If you have Christ according to the Bible, you have life. If you don’t have Christ, you don’t have life. Salvation is God’s wonderful gift. I hope you have received that gift. I hope you have trusted Christ as your Savior. I hope you haven’t added to the gospel.

So many people add baptism, church membership, living the Christian life, turning from sin, walking the aisle, and the list goes on and on and on. My friend, the Bible says that God will then add to you the plagues that are in this book, including the greatest of all of those plagues which is to be cast into hell. You don’t want that to happen to you. To be saved you simply come as the Bible says and the Bible says, who so ever will make come and take of the water of life free thee.

I’m Dr. Engle. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have Angel in St. Petersburg, if you’d like to call by the way, the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. Angel in St. Pete, Welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. All right. Okay, that’s the way to do it. I’ll work here and pull out my Bible. I got a question for you. I ordered your Vibe CD series on a election of predestination. Then I got on you on the second CD and all that’s great.

But we got two Romans nine there and you were explaining it well. And that 19 and 20 and 21 you really didn’t explain. You got that and just read it. and then move on. Romans 9 verse 19, that was played on a team. Why do you live yet? We find calls for cool hats to resist as well. And I’m reading that as like, you know, God made for it, or to do that. And obviously we went for the fact that, you know, He felt resistant.

Verse 20 says, fires against God. And this is where I’m getting out right here. Shout out a thing, pull on, say it again, that formula, why it’s not made me that I can fight this. powers and made them. Well, obviously Pharaoh was used by God to display his wonderful power so that the people of Egypt would know the true message of the gospel and that the God of Israel was the true and living God. But he never did ever make the decision for Pharaoh as to his salvation.

So certainly God can choose to do that. And if you read a little further down, it talks about here there are vessels of mercy and there are vessels of wrath. And the vessels of wrath are those who reject Christ, who will obviously wind up experiencing God’s wrath. But in the meantime, God can actually use an unsaved person to bring about his plan, and obviously he did in the case of Pharaoh. When you read back in Exodus chapter 4, it talks about how that when he showed his power against Pharaoh and destroyed the Egyptian army, the world knew that the God of Israel was the true and living God.

All the gods of Egypt could not help but Egypt. And each one of the 10 plagues were a direct attack upon one of their gods that they worshipped. I’ve been to Egypt many times and they worshiped every kind of a God in the world and yet none of them could help them, but the God of Israel delivered that teeny nation from the world’s superpower that day and obviously the word that got out to the whole world of the true and living God.

But Pharaoh never was ever restrained concerning whether or not he would trust Christ as a year. But he was hardened so that he would not let the people of Israel go so that there would be this confrontation where the Egyptian army would follow them into the Red Sea and God would get the victory over the Pharaoh and his army and defeat the Egyptian power of that time. So basically if somebody is a question that you can’t question in this God’s plan and he can do what he wants to do, but he never ever ever decides who’s going to be saved and who’s not going to be saved.

He chooses that all that would believe on Christ would be saved and all that would reject Christ would be lost, but the choice is going to be yours. Okay, what about 21? Alright, 21 says, has the potter power of the clay over the same lump to make one vessel unto honor and another unto dishonor. The answer is of course yes he does, but he is the one that can interfere and mold in the life of a believer and an unbeliever.

If you read through the Old Testament you will see numerous times that God actually interfered in the lives of unbelievers to carry out his purpose, but never did he ever overrule their free will and make them believe on him the fact that he he made a miche didn’t mow them to be for that little bonner that’s what this well i i the word made there is a is more word of appointment or ordination and that is uh… he has already appointed or anointed uh…

or ordained uh… the uh… unbeliever to go to hell and to be a vessel of wrath and so i have and i do i i think you’re right because you know i’m first i couldn’t figure out on first nineteen twenty twenty twenty explains that if you read the twenty two look at what it says what if god willing to show his wealth And to make his power known, endured with much long suffering, the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction.

That was Pharaoh and his army and the people of Egypt who were not believers. And he obviously endured with them for quite a long time with a lot of patience. I think giving them opportunity to come to know the Lord as their Savior. But then we find here that he was able to show his wrath against him and destroy them. And it’s all a picture of what’s going to still happen. At the end of the tribulation, you know, the Pharaoh was a picture of the Antichrist, Egypt was a picture of the world.

We find that the world is going to come in direct conflict against Jesus Christ, and Christ will unleash his wrath and he’ll defeat the armies of this world, and millions are going And certainly he has the right to do that and he’s doing that of course upon the unbelievers, those who reject him, although he’s been very patient. And he endures with a lot of patience toward those that are vessels of wrath, those that reject him and hate him that don’t want his word in that are headed for help.

But I’m gonna hang out. I’m gonna say this on my hand up I looked at the work for it in verse 22 and in the right here, and it’s actually not there What’s there is? Adapted and if contacted as if they were adapted themselves to destruction and and then we go back to you know Exodus where that actually after they kept they’ll kept being disobedient then he then he hardens his heart is that correct? You got it right I can say the Hank, thanks for your patience man and thanks for all you do.

Alright, sometimes a pre-estination really gets people hung up and they assume something that’s not there. In this passage he’s talking about vessels of mercy and a little bit later it talks about those he had, who he would have mercy on was those that would believe on Christ. But those that he had wrath upon are those that would reject Christ. But the choice is yours and you can choose to be a vessel of mercy. The mercy of God says in Ephesians 2 8, by grace or mercy, are you saved through what?

Faith. So unless you place your trust in Christ, you will never experience the mercy, the grace of God by which a person is saved. But if you continue to reject Christ, you obviously are a vessel headed for God’s wrath in hell. But you might experience it earlier than that, and that’s what it’s saying here in Romans chapter 9. Good one. We now have Tamara in Tampa, Florida, and Tamara, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Go ahead, have to hang.

This is Tamara, and I just wanted to say thank you for your ministry and this way to the and for those who will come into the body because of the ministry that you’re doing through salvation. And the reason why I’m calling is the movie, the Giffenci Code. All right, it tries to portray that Jesus was married. And in my understanding, there’s no proof to that. And is there anything biblically that would be something you can direct people to that are leaning towards that.

And then I have another question as believers, if you could just direct me to where it talks about our new bodies, us getting new bodies. And I’ve done a study on both of those on my own, and I’m a little stumped as to where it is. So that’s the so-called teachings of the Gnostics and They invented so many things that are just not true. They claim they had a secret knowledge About Christ and it’s all involved in this mystery type of stuff that none of it is true and That was written centuries and centuries after Christ had already been here and obviously the story is a one that is a contrary to the scriptures and and therefore is wrong.

We have to believe the Bible we have and not these other things that come along later. In the book of Jude it says that we are to contend for the faith which was once delivered under the saints. And that is the faith we have given to us in God’s Word as God gave it through the prophets and apostles through the Holy Spirit. Spirit. And any new teaching that comes along that contradicts that is to be rejected. Just like the Book of Mormon is a This is the book that contradicts the Bible.

Therefore we have to pitch the core and out. We have to pitch the book of Mormon out. We have to pitch out the writings of Joseph Smith. All these things contradict the Bible. We certainly don’t want to go that direction. As far as the resurrection body, the first Corinthians 15 is the classic chapter that talks about our resurrection bodies and what they’ll be like and how that the resurrection, what order will occur in and we’re going to get our next chapter.

our new bodies of course at the event called the Rapture and the Bible talks about what kind of a body we’re going to have. It’ll be eternal, it’ll be like Christ’s body, it’ll be youthful and it’s going to be something that we’ll live in forever that will not require the attention we have here. We don’t find there’ll be no sickness in heaven, there’ll be no disease, no death, no tears, no sorrow, it’s going to be wonderful. I hope that helps first grade in 2015 is where I recommend you read.

Anyway, I am Dr. Anglin Sherman and this is Bibleline and we are here on Monday. We’re going to do another half hour in just a minute. We’re going to take a short break and come back. In the meantime, let me just remind you that we are listeners supported. We do need your help in order to keep these programs going. In the year we really have miracle ministry because we have no other means of support. So we totally, depending upon the Lord and upon of course the ones that the Lord raises up to give to this ministry.

So if you could give a gift today, that would be wonderful. You can call and give it by credit card over the phone or you can call and ask for an unbook to be sent with our address on it and mail that gift in. I’m going to take a short break. I’m Dr. Angel Linscherman and we’re going to come right back and do a second, half hour. So keep you ready to write where it is and we’ll be back in just a moment to do the second half hour.

Don’t go away Bibleline. We’ll be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and this is a Bibleline and it’s wonderful to be with you every day. Here we are another week and closer and closer to the Lord’s return. I’m not saying he’s coming this year, but you know what if he did? And if he were to come this feast of trumpets, you only have two weeks left until he would come.

Would that change your life at all? Is there anybody that you need to witness to? Is there anybody that you need to talk to about the Lord? This is a great time to take advantage of this because what if he does come? And then that person dies without Christ and you never told him. I think you’re going to have regret and tears and sorrow in heaven as the Bible describes when you stand before the Lord and you recognize that that person never heard because you never told them.

Well, I hope that you’ll use this as a motivation and I’m certainly looking forward to Christ returning. But if he doesn’t come this year, I’ll look the following year and if he doesn’t come then, I’ll look the year after that. I know he’s coming, I just don’t know what year, but I do know the time of year that you’ll probably come on the Feast of Trumpets. I have a very special message that I did on the Third Temple and the nearness of Christ return and you can order that CD for $5.

That’s a powerful one and I think you’ll use it to witness with and to also just explain connection between the Old and New Testaments and the Third Temple that still has to be built in Israel, which I believe will be built right after the Rapture. Plus, we have many other teachings of mine. In fact, the Book of Romans, since we got on predestination, we covered those passages very thoroughly. You can get Romans all 16 chapters, burst by verse, and that’s available to you on CD.

We have the Epistles of Peter, 1 Peter and 2 Peter, 10 hours of teaching on each of those. The book of Revelation, the book of Daniel and so many, about 40 different ones. You might want to order something to play in your car while you’re driving to and from work and to take advantage of that drive time to apply it to learning God’s word. And a lot of people use these CDs to facilitate a Sunday school class or a Bible study and and they play a portion and then have discussion and then maybe have refreshments and go home, but it works out really well.

Well, it’s time to go back and rejoin the stations that have been on break and we’re going to do the second half hour. If you’d like to call in, it’s 1-800- 5763771. And give us a call. We’ll try to put you up on the air. And we’re going to do right now, Bibleline, part 2, the second half hour. So keep your radio right where it is and stay tuned to Bibleline.

Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lynch from All Right. We’re back for that break and we had a great week and I hope you did. And we had people get saved and we had some great services and one whole time of fellowship with Christians around his word and then we had the lost coming to know Christ is Savior and what a wonderful day it was.

You know, we’re just so blessed here because we see people trust the Lord as Savior nearly every day. And that’s exciting. It’s wonderful to see that happen. And especially all of our worship services, we usually have somebody trust the Lord even last night in our evening service we had someone trust the Lord. So it’s all the time and it’s just a blessing to see that. I know some churches never believe us over Christ and I think partly because they never expect to.

They never even present the gospel. They don’t ever teach their people to bring the lost in and to have them come and to hear the wonderful story of Jesus Christ and what He did at the cross. In any case we’re excited. The Lord is coming and we believe that it’s a possibility. We don’t know what year, but the Feast of Trumpets is right upon us. And if the Lord would become this year on the Feast of Trumpets the most likely day, you’ve got just about two more weeks until the Lord takes us out of here.

Wouldn’t that be something? I didn’t set the date. I’m not saying he’s coming this year, but he could. And I think that we ought to really live our lives that way, recognizing that we don’t know. And so therefore we don’t want to risk not using our opportunities that we have for the Lord’s glory every day to take advantage of the fact that this might be our last shot, our last opportunity. If you have a loved one that’s unsaved, this is the time to get them saved.

We had somebody come by the other day and they had a brother that was dying and they got the CD on how permanent is yourProblemation to play for him on his deathbed. You know, that has been very powerful. And we’ve had a lot of folks just on the edge of death come to know Christ the Savior by listening to that CD. And so many other situations where people hear that CD. It seems like God is really blessed. And we’ve seen thousands of them go out and thousands of people get saved as a result.

For $5 you can have a copy of how permanent is your salvation. people buy a stack and they give them out like a consolehhh track because it really works and if they can get somebody to listen to the CD, chances are good that they would trust Jesus as their Savior. If you want to go to Israel, call us and get that brochure sent out to you. If the Lord doesn’t come this year, we’re going to still plan to go next February.

It will be trip number 16 for me and it will be a pleasure to have you on board. So give us a call and we’ll get your address. We’ll mail out the brochure of the trip, leaving February 2009. We’re going to go to Richmond, Virginia, and we have William on the line. And William, welcome to Bibleline your own here. I’m Hal and I call you once before about seeing Taz in love, Althman. I talked to my pastor yesterday. But it had been a few months ago.

You told me about like we under the New Testament. We’re not under the law. We’re under grace. Hank, can you? Can you tell me where to go? Okay, thank you so much, William. We’re going to turn to 2 Corinthians, chapter 9. Here it talks about giving under the New Testament and not under the law but under grace. And there are some great verses here, but I want to share with you verse 7 in particular. 1 Corinthians 9 verse 7 where it says, Every man, according as he purposed within his heart, so let him give.

Now under the law you didn’t have a choice. You gave a tithe or 10%. But here it says every man, according as he purposed in his art, so let him give, not Gradually. Or of necessity for God loves a cheerful giver. So here God wants you to give from the heart. Christ is the example in the previous chapter. It says that for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor that you through his poverty might be rich.

He was the God of the universe coming to the earth and becoming poor. and significant. And yet he went to the cross and gave his life so that we could be saved. And he is an example of giving. So if we were to give like Christ, we would give our whole life for the Lord. That would mean that we give our time and we give our talents and we give our treasures. We give everything that we have to the Lord and let him have control of it, but we don’t give in order to be saved.

We give to please the Lord. William, I hope that helps and we thank you for that call. Read those two chapters, chapters eight and nine and second Corinthians. We’re going to look at Paul now in Valrico. Paul, welcome to Bible and you’re on the air. Good. If that guy had all known, he knows the past and the future. This is what he does. Wouldn’t you say was kind of unfair for Judas that he never had a choice because God knew beforehand, is the son of so he’s trouble me.

Judas never had a chance because he was already ordained for that role in life. If God knows all in the past and the future, he knew that his son was going to be betrayed by Judas. So how did you ever stand a chance? Well, the whole thing is that Jesus, God knew because he has the ability to know the future, but he doesn’t know the future because he made the choice. In other words, I might tell you that at three o’clock this afternoon I’m going to get in my car and I’m going to go to the grocery store and I’m going to pick up some snacks and some groceries and so on and come back to the church.

But I would know that because I am planning it in advance. But God knows it naturally because he knows the future. But he did not make the choice for me. So in the case of Judas, God knew what was going to take place. But he didn’t make the choice for Judas that he made. So it’s interesting that the Bible doesn’t violate the order. This is a neat verse because you will never find the order of these two things violated in Scripture.

It says in I think let’s see here in 1 Peter chapter 1 it says elect according to the foreknowledge of God. Now it doesn’t say foreknown according to the election of God. If it was foreknown according to the election of God that would mean that God made the choice and therefore he foreknew the future. But he doesn’t know the future because he made your choice. He knows the future because he’s not bound by time and he knew the outcome but he didn’t make the choice.

So Judas had his own choice. There was no doubt about it and he held responsible and the Bible says it would be better that that man had never been born. He truly, obviously, committed a grievous sin not only in dying without Christ which caused him to be lost eternally but also to betray Christ was a grievous sin. I hope that helps a little bit. It does and can I ask you one more question? Sure. Do you think that Isaiah, don’t pay attention to their children, they get married to several women and women and then right on the death of the effort for goodness.

I mean with a plan like that, I mean you know that there’s a God that but you go about sending your whole life with the plan. Well, I’m like that all that for forgiveness and all of them forgive a lot of people. Well, God will save them if they do that. Obviously the dying thief is an example of a man on his deathbed in the sense he’s nailed to the cross and dying and he believes on Christ the Savior.

But it doesn’t necessarily mean nobody’s going to do that. The other thief obviously chose not to believe on Christ and he was eternally lost. So obviously a person could do that but if they’re trying to make their life a plan around that they’re living dangerously because nobody knows when they’re going to die. And many times people died suddenly and instantly without any recourse just like the people who were in that train wreck over the weekend. Most of them that were killed died instantly.

They had no clue that they’re going to hit hit on with another train and then just All of a sudden being to eternity. So you can’t sometimes know when it’s going to happen. So you don’t have the opportunity to say, okay, I’m going to die in a few minutes. I’m going to trust Christ and then I’ll be forgiven. But if you did, you’d still be saved. No doubt about it. All right. Thank you. So you’re right, man. Thank you so much for calling and we’re now going to go to Dave in Albany, New York.

And Dave, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Hey Doc, how are you doing? Alright. I have three quick questions. One is, do you know who Dr. Jimide Young is? Yes, I do. What do you think of him? I think he’s pretty good. I like him. He’s in Israel and he’s a correspondent and he has an author and he does a good job. Yeah, he sounds a lot like you as far as similar things that you discussed. Then, I’m sorry?

His doctrine is right on. Yes. And then you know that, that over all those churches are signed on to that whole replacement, the audio of God’s ministry. How do we get that? Because I can’t find it. Well, if you’ll call back after the program, we’ll get one of our guys here to show you the link on how to get that. It’s on there one more. And then one more. If you go on 3512. Can you explain that? I’ll take a look at it.

Let’s see. Ezekiel 35. And I’m almost there Ezekiel 35 verse 12 it says here and I’ll show know that I am the Lord and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken upon the mountains of Israel, saying they are laid desolate and they are given to us to consume. Okay, so. Are they blaspheming? No, does that mean that you can be, can you blaspheme against? What does a mountain of Israel mean? Are you blaspheming against? If you, or you, or you blaspheme?

No, the way. I mean, of blaspheming God, and the mountain of God there, of course, is the place where temple was and where God was to be worshipped. Then they polluted it with false teachings and false gods right on top of the very mountain it was to be the place where they would come to worship the true living God. And God says, look, I’ve heard and I’ve seen all you’ve done. And God is, of course, going to judge them for that.

Yeah. You cannot be lost by blaspheming. The Bible says in Mark 3 28 that all manner of sins and all manner of blasphemies are forgiven through Christ. But there is one blasphemy that you can’t be forgiven for, and that’s to reject Christ. To attribute Christ was a false teacher who healed by Satan’s power, not by the power of the Holy Spirit. And that one is unpardonable. That’s to die without Christ. It’s the same as rejecting Christ when you die.

Okay, you’re very welcome and thank you for the call. And we’re now going to go to, I believe we have Dave in St. Petersburg and Dave welcome to Bible on your on the earth. Good morning pastor. Yes, I’ll say you have a couple things. Oh God, you know, you give us free will and he knows if we’re going to be wicked or if we’re going to be good. I use Psalm 58, 3 and 4. 58, 3. If the wicked are strange from the womb, they go astray as soon as they be buried.

born speaking live at a stop at her here but you know if you’re going to be wicked if you get it you have a free will in your seat because you can see the future yes because and then that that another thing have you read the book that it is kind of a new book out called as america has done to israel i haven’t had the titles intriguing though and i know it’s basically it’s basically about that every time that we do something to make israel do something bad towards rooseland or israel itself america get pounded with some kind of disaster and one of those katrina is that it would be one that we made israel get out of the god’s trip the last route that left the god’s trip katrina hit in less than twenty four hours white dot dorland and this i would have with i

as i believe on tuesday of last week that we agreed to sell uh… uh… missiles to united airman right for quote-unquote defensive purposes but on thursday we turned down israel’s request to give them some of our high-tech the bumper buster bomb to help them attack iran unless the point of ours i can’t for where suppose to go into corpus christia south and turn right into used it We just don’t know if the danger damage is yet. I know that boy.

Wow. It could be that as it says that God would bless those that would bless Israel and curse those that would curse Israel and we have begun to make a lot of decisions that are really a curse against Israel today. Yeah, I just I really care for the kind of hope you have hopefully I’m praying I think we’re going to be ratcheted out here but the minute that we divide your wisdom that’s definitely going to be it for the U.S.

I think you’re right. right but the day they’ve been uh… st and uh… uh… interesting uh… title for the book and i believe that there’s a lot to that whenever we have cursed israel uh… god comes right back at us and we now have uh… george in west palm beach and george uh… welcome to buy what you’re on here Hello, Patrick Lindstrom. How are you doing? Good. I have two questions. My first one is, my wife is pen and, you know, I was a believer, but I don’t know what to do.

So I call your church and I spoke to Mike and he told me, well, you need to make a stand and stop going to Pentecost the church. If that’s what you really not into. So I built that, I put up a pen to that, so I started going to church with her. So I started assisting my great Bible Church, which is the true gospel. And now, every time we go in my car, my wife, you know, she insists on putting this pen to cost for music in my radio.

And last time I had an argument with her because my four angers with this stuff that this Pentecost music is all all the acting for is fire. They’re asking for gods and fires and fire to our go-grow and they’re playing these songs. So my question is, if you run with me of telling my wife not to put that in my radio, it’s something that is actually in our image, something that I don’t want to listen to because it’s all bogus.

The second question is that I was listening to this radio station and they were streaming this podcast because he had made these comments about home stay dads about now in America, more guys are staying home and taking other kids. were saying about these guys about all you know this man has no more more while saying that this amount like but when the bible that’s the same it can about men’s supposed to stay home and take care of the kids i mean are we supposed to be them the the guys working out there and and bringing the money in taking care of families and the wife supposed to wait for a kid i believe that’s what you had created this uh…

i think there can be you know times or seasons when You can reverse the role to make the family work. However, you know, you have to whatever you have to do but men are the hunters and Basically the women are more the the homemakers and that’s a natural desire that God plants within men and women. I believe to be the the women to be the homemakers they just Have that natural thing in them. I know that they For example, there are towels in our bathroom at home that I’m not allowed to use They’re just like a pretty you know and that’s a part of a woman’s desire to have a home minimal practical and if they need to wipe your hand they’re gonna grab the first rag they could get but We have some beautiful towels and nails have some soap on the counter that we can’t use that

This for pretty That’s a part of a woman’s makeup and and they that’s I think I’d put that in a to be able to care for the home and to be home makers. So I don’t know what to tell you except that you just have to continue to teach her the structure as to what is wrong with that kind of music because music can be used for good and for evil and if you’re listening to the wrong kind of music it gives you going in the wrong direction that’s for sure.

Right. Oh well thank you. Alright, thank you for calling in, Georgia and West Palm Beach. We now have Adam in Denver, Colorado. Adam, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Hey, thank you for taking my call pastor. My question is people that believe in tongues and may say that speaking in tongues is actually praying the perfect prayer. Where in the Bible are they getting that from and how are they misinterpreting that? Well, they get it from a couple of passages.

One is Romans 8 and they’re obviously getting it wrong because the Bible doesn’t teach that. But if you’re dealing with me to Romans 8, I’ll share your word with you the verse. They use who was 826 says, and I’m almost there, and I’ll read it for you. It says, likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself make a thinner session for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

So they believe that when they are supposedly groaning, and this is a part of their tongues, that that’s the Holy Spirit speaking through them in prayer. But what is interesting is I tell them you haven’t read the verse carefully. If you read the very last phrase it says with groanings which cannot be uttered. In other words they’re not audible. So the first time a peep comes out of their mouth that can be heard by somebody else, You can know it’s not the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit does it silently and with groanings which cannot be uttered. And so when people are moaning and groaning, I’ve been in these meetings where they’re groaning and they’re making different noises and it’s very distracting to me when I’m really trying to pray to the Lord I get distracted terribly. But it’s certainly not the Holy Spirit in them because the Holy Spirit groans with utterings that cannot be heard. They’re not audible at all. The other passage that they use is 1 Corinthians 14 verse 2, and here they jump and make a conclusion here that’s not there.

It says, he the spigothen in unknown tongue. Actually, the word unknown is not in the Bible period. The translators added the word there in italics to let you know that the meaning here is that They were in Corinth using a language that was unknown to the hearer. So therefore it was an unknown language, it was unknown to the hearer, but there is no such thing as an unknown language. So it says he that speaks it in a language, speaketh not to men, but unto God.

So they say, see, it is a prayer language. And the reason why they are speaking to God not to men is it says, for no man understands him. In other words, what happened in Corinth that Paul was trying to correct here was that they They were using a foreign language when everybody in the church understood Greek and they should have spoken to them in Greek. So he goes down further in verse 8 and 9 and so on and says, except you speak by the tongue words easy to be understood.

How shall it be known what is spoken? You just speak into the air. And that’s what’s happening here in verse 2. They’re just babbling along in a foreign language that God gave them, but they were speaking to the wrong audience and nobody understood them and Paul said you’re wasting your time. You’re speaking to God because he understands that foreign language but nobody in the church does. So he says you need to speak in a language that they understand and so it doesn’t support the prayer language at all.

That’s the two verses that they use. Okay, what was that first verse, Romans 8? 26. Okay, thank you so much for clearing that up for me. You’re welcome. That’s Adam in Denver, Colorado. And the, there is no secret decoder prayer language. You don’t understand English. You don’t have to speak in some gibberish. They have got to understand you. And the whole point though is that the gibberish is that nobody knows what’s being said. The person saying it and the person hearing it doesn’t understand the gibberish because it’s not a known language and it’s not from God.

We have James in Tampa, Florida and James welcomed the Bible and you’re on here. Good morning, Pastor Lynch. Keep up the good work. I’ve got a question for you. On Romans 13 1, 1 and 2, it indicates that God puts rulers in power. And I had a discussion with a friend, and I reported that scripture. He came back and said, well, because God put in Hitler in power to kill all those Jewish people. So, come eat, come eat. Well, he does put basement in, you read Daniel and there very…

very definitely talks about sometimes he puts the basses of men into power and although Hitler was a terrible, terrible man and anti-God, anti-Christ and everything. Definitely what he did started the Jewish people moving. Well, thanks for your attention. If that tragedy had not happened, the state of Israel probably would have never been born. God out of that tragedy brought about a good thing, but definitely he allowed it. I think the German people probably got what they deserve. I think sometimes we’re in America, we’re going to get what we deserve since we’ve decided to get rid of God and the Bible and prayer that we’re going to get probably a leader that’s going to give us more of the same.

And that’s the way people are. They’re going to elect somebody like that. So we need to be obviously praying for God’s will and that He would give us good leadership and Romans talked about praying for our leaders. We have more callers sitting out there waiting, but we don’t have any more time. I’m not going to have to run, but again, let me encourage you if you would to pray for Bibleline. And if you could give a gift we certainly could use your help we need help to be able to get through this month and be on our feet.

So would you consider calling and giving a gift by credit card over the phone or call and ask for an envelope to be mailed to you that you can mail a gift back. We would appreciate that and God bless you. Thank you in advance. You are the ones who keep this program going and God bless every one of you who give. If it’s been a blessing to you, consider helping us out. Everyone, keep looking up on Dr. England’s room.

I’ll be back tomorrow. In the meantime, keep watching for Christ’s new terms. You’re listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline Ministries of Tampa, Florida.
