Just give us your name and address Fellas you’re interested and we’ll ship it out. I think you’ll be glad I think you get that in your hands and make a decision and we hope that you’ll be on board Of course, we’re coming up hard and fast on the Feast of Trumpets.

What is that? It’s Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. And that occurs right at the end of this month, September 30th and October 1st. And that is the most logical, reasonable day for the Rapture to happen, whatever year it takes place. So it could be, if the Lord were to come this year, that we’ve got about two weeks left. to be snatched out to meet the Lord of the Air. Well, it’s exciting to think about, and it certainly could happen.

There are seven feast days, and they’re all described in the Viticus chapter 23 of your Bible, and you might want to take a look at them. The first is the beast of Passover, and Jesus died exactly when the Passover Lamb and Israel was being offered up and was the fulfillment of that type. That type, 1 Corinthians 5, 7 says for even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. He is buried during the Feast of the 11th Bed which spoke of his sinless body being placed in the tomb.

And then we know that Jesus rose on the third feast day which is the Feast of First Fruits and it says in Corinthians that in verse 20 of chapter 15, now is Christ, wistened from Then the dad became the first fruits of them that slap he fulfilled. The feast day, the feast of first roots, by rising from the dead on that day. And then the fourth feast was the feast of Pentecost, and it was on Pentecost that this church age began, where God has turned to us gentoused.

And the fifth feast, I believe, will conclude the church age just as Pentecost began it. And that happens September 30th this year. If the world were to come this year, it could be that we’re coming up on the feast day, on the feast day when it will be fulfilled. And since the first four feasts were fulfilled literally on the day at the first coming of Christ, it seems most reasonable that these last feasts that still are hanging out there that are pictures and forecasts of the rapture and the second coming are going to be fulfilled right on the day.

stuff. I hope you’re standing up on your top of your kitchen table ready to go because we could certainly be ragged out. Look at the things that are happening in this world, the sea and the waves roaring, storms like we have never seen, all kinds of catastrophes and financial woes and political woes and wars and rumors of wars. Just about everything the Bible describes is happening today as a sign of the fact that Christ is about to return. We have a lot of offer questions and if we can we’d like to get you up on the air with us.

Our phone number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. You can give us a call. We’re We are going to go right now to the Bible and then we will take our callers. So if you have your Bible you might want to follow along with me as we talk about some scriptures from God’s Word. It says in John chapter 1 in verse 12 that as many as received him to then give he power or authority to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

What great salvation this is, and it tells us that we’re saved by receiving Christ, and the way we receive Christ is by believing or the Greek word means to trust by trusting on in his name, that we recognize that Jesus Christ is exactly who he claims that he is, the one that the prophets of Fortola would come, who would be the payment for our sin by his death on the cross at Calvary. And it says even to him that believe on his name.

That means when you believe all the Greek word for believe is trust, rely upon, put your confidence in rest your weight of honor when you place your trust in Jesus Christ as the one who died for you. That’s how you receive Christ and when you do that you become a child of God. You become born again. That’s what it’s saying here in this wonderful verse. You’ll notice here it says to as many as received Him to them God gave authority for them to become the sons of God.

It’s amazing, but the Bible is very clear everywhere you look that salvation is God’s gift. God is the giver and that we’re the receivers and you’ll never find an exception to that. God is the giver, we’re the receivers, for God’s love the world that he gave. He’s only begotten son. This verse tells us when we receive Christ, God gives us the authority or power to become one of His children. And the New Birth takes place when you do that.

Well, it’s amazing to me that so many of Christians today, so-called Christians, are using an invitation for salvation that is the exact opposite of what the Bible is saying here. How many times do you hear people say, I gave my heart to Christ or I gave my life to Christ? Or would you give your life to Christ to be saved? And that is really so wrong. There’s nothing biblical about it because it’s the exact opposite of what the Bible teaches and that makes you the giver and God the receiver.

Whereas the Bible teaches that God is the giver and we’re the receivers. When you trust Christ as your Savior, you receive Christ and God gives you all grants authority for you to become His very own Son. There’s no other place in salvation and yet we have so many that preach give your heart or give your life to Christ and that’s how you’re saved. Well guess what? I don’t even know why they pick on the word heart. Why did they do that?

Maybe I should choose another body organ. Give your liver. Give you pancreas and you’ll be saved. I just point this out because it’s a lot of craziness. Can you imagine big bats in heaven containing Thousands and thousands of hearts that people gave to Jesus He doesn’t want your heart. He doesn’t need your heart. The Bible says your heart is deceitful about all things Jeremiah 17 9 why would he even want it? He doesn’t the Bible doesn’t say for us to give anything to God God, it tells us to receive what God has already accomplished for us at the cross, and that is the trust that Jesus Christ died until our sin, dead, and full was buried and rose again from the dead.

Okay, we have some trouble with the firm lines today, but we’re going to try to get you through so that in case it gets fixed we’ll be able to take all the cars but right now there’s one line coming in here and we’re gonna use that one. We’re gonna go to Bill in Tampa Florida and we just have to keep you keep piling and we’ll try to get you up on the air as best we can with only one phone line right now working.

We reported it with hopefully they get it fixed shortly. You’re welcome to Bibleline. Good morning. I got a question here in the really great tribulation where it talks about being the CEO and the judgments being poured out upon the earth. In Larkam’s book it seems to say that these judgments are going to be like one third of the sea, one third part of the men. He seems to make sense that that’s going to be a local judgment. I’ve been called, you know, from a Christian life that when God pulled out these judgments, that’s going to be on the world.

Is that something that’s just going to be there? And if so, what happens to the rest of the people that have the parts of the world during this time? Well, I’ll hang up on the rest of them. Okay, thank you very much. The judgments really will have consequences worldwide, but absolutely there is different ones that affect different parts of the world. There will be, for example, the meteor that will strike apparently somewhere there in the Mediterranean Sea and will cause a third of a life in the Mediterranean to die and it will kill a third of all the life in the sea.

It’s definitely judgments upon the whole world, but some of them initiate or take place in in a particular location, but the rare locations in the whole world is judged during that time. The final judgment is Armageddon itself, this world nuclear war that will take place, and then Jesus comes back and defeats the armies of the world and sets up his kingdom here on the earth. to go to Kerry and Kerry is in Zephyr Hills Florida. Kerry, welcome to Bibleline.

Hey, that’s wonderful. I just had a quick question and then I was going to hang up in the studio. Do you believe that there are people there are people on earth that are never exposed to God’s word and what plan does God have as far as salvation? OK, very good. And I think they’ll be absolutely right. But it does say that they are exposed to God. In Romans chapter 1 in verse 19, it talks about the heathen world in that first chapter of Romans, and it says, because that which may be known of God is made known in them, for God hath showed it unto them.

What it’s saying is that there’s no such thing as a born atheist, that everyone has a knowledge that there’s a creator, a God, implanted in them by God himself. Then we learn that God, the Holy Spirit, is convicting the whole world, every man, every woman, every child on a whole planet of sin, of righteousness and judgment. So the Bible tells us that no one will have an excuse because they have been sought out by the Lord and because He is a…

The fact that there is a God, they may not know the gospel, they may not know about Christ, but if they seek, they will find him. So wherever they might be they become responsible to seek the Lord. And in Jeremiah 29.13, a very favorite verse of mine, it says, and you shall seek me and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart. heart. So a person who wants to know the truth, the Bible says we’ll find the Lord, that the Lord will get the truth to them by maybe bringing this person across the path of a Christian who’s willing to witness a missionary, a preacher, or some other way, but he also might cause them to cross paths in another way.

That person might come across the path of a Christian, a Christian will come across that person’s path and they’ll share and he’ll trust the Lord and become safe. So they will have an excuse. Romans 1 20 says, because God plants the knowledge within everybody, they are without excuse. They will not be able to say, I didn’t know because God says I did plant a knowledge in you. He seeks us out. M. 1910 says the Ksenovand has come to seek him to say that which was lost.

So he initiates the seeking process and because he seeks us, we are responsible and then seek him in return. And if we seek him, the Lord promises that we are saved. Okay, we have, we’ll get saved because we’ll hear the constant message. We have Dave in St. Petersburg and Dave welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. I hope that’s good. Just to add to that, there’s a few passage that the rebels are looking to look over all the time.

Titus 2.11, for the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men but it pierced everybody. Amen. That’s our great voice and thank you for sharing that Titus 2.11, the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. So there’s nobody left out. John 1 9 also tells us that Christ is the true light that lighteth every man that come into the world. So there is a certain amount of knowledge that’s implanted, imparted by God Himself to His creation.

And we know that there is a God. You don’t know where you travel in the world. The most primitive of society’s recognize that there is a higher being. If there is a day of accountability, one day they’re going to stand before a God who’s going to judge them. And because they know that, they’re responsible to seek, and if they seek God promises to get the gospel message to them. The family we don’t have many phones working but they seem to be working enough to get you guys up on the air.

1-800-576-3771 we’re now going to go to Rex and Rex is down in Bradenton, Florida. Rex welcome the Bible on your on the air. You had a chance to look at the newspaper this morning. Women and I’m not sure the pronunciation the beanie or litany uh… that looks like she’s going to be up for prime minister is trying to put together a coalition uh… and evidently She needs the 12 votes of a party called Ross, which is the ultra-orthodox Jewish political party that is also connected with wanting to rebuild the temple.

wow so i mean it’s They’re going to meet later next week and they actually have already started putting together what they’re demanding to go ahead and build the third temple. No, I wonder. I can. i go ahead and uh… excuse me to give her the okay because they hold just enough votes the 12 to hold up the process so they’re going to be kind of appointing the king. Wow I will have to check that out but you know you know it’s all coming together i think rather quickly here and uh…

maybe uh… this is the year that will leave at the rapture I’m not saying you say a date, but wouldn’t that be something? And of course, the temple, I believe, would be built right after we leave. And certainly that’s very much in line with the fact that it could be this year. You don’t know that. to that occurring and it’s very exciting. It’s very exciting and we appreciate that you’re not sending a date and I’m certainly not alluding to a date myself but while we’re upon it, aren’t we?

I know we are. So I’m ready to just be caught out whenever that comes. I’m gone. Likewise, Pastor, enjoy your show and support it and challenge everybody out there to be a part of this great ministry. Thank you so much. God, the rapture is coming and of course we don’t know that year, but it could be because he would come this year and if that be the case, it probably would be on September 30th or October 30th, excuse me, October 1st of this year, which is Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, the most likely date for the return of Christ whatever year he comes.

We’re not going to go to Jonah and Jonah is in Tampa, Florida and Jonah, welcome to Bible and you’re on the air. How you doing, Dr. Hank? Good. I’m a little bit of a call-screener, giving me a little gump about my whale. First of all, I wanted to give thanks to a guy who brought up Titus that version to him, who was 11. Yeah, because I went reading through it and actually… And actually a couple of verses at verse 13, it says, looking for the blessing of the glory of our great God and Savior.

That verse alone, it calls Jesus our God and Savior. I call you a lot about my battles with Jehovah’s Witnesses. My question though is I wanted to know your… Hey, Kennegrav is a preterist and he is one who believes in Reformation theology. He’s a Calvinist and he believes that Christ has already returned. He believed he came back in A.D. 70. I just happened to have his book here. He doesn’t believe in a rapture because he believes Christ already came back in A.D70.

Here’s a quote from his glossary. It says here, the Olivet Discourse that Discourse on Matthew 24 was fulfilled in AD 70 when the Roman army utterly destroyed the temple in the city. And so that was a prophecy about the second coming. And that’s when Jesus came. He believes that the Tribulation period was the U.S. 64 through 70, that the Antichrist was Nero, he was the best. And so obviously this is something I totally disagree with. Right, I’d read about him thinking the hero was something, what was his…

Neither is anything else. It’s already happened. That we’re already in the Kingdom. The Kingdom began then in 8070, and that the church has replaced Israel, and we’re living right now in the Kingdom. but it doesn’t make any sense because according to the bible the kingdom would be one of peace there would be no nations of war and uh… and uh… even the end also be a piece obviously you have to uh… put on some special classes to believe that nonsense amen doctor went from a thank you a lot and i’ll go to alright thank you so much and uh…

basically uh… uh… hank and ref uses the word metaphorical every other word and he basically describes everything as metaphorical but it doesn’t really mean what it says and that it’s metaphorical so you can’t take it literally which i totally disagree i believe that the bible was meant to be taken literally god said what he meant and then what he said and uh… that’s the way i look at it you want to call us the numbers one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one and uh…

maybe uh… we’re gonna be rapsing out here shortly. The Lord’s in Ashland, Kentucky calls in and leaves us off their question, is there a great revival to take place? And the answer is no. The Bible says that evil men will go worse and worse deceiving and being deceived. There is no revival coming. We, 2 Timothy, Chapter 3, it describes a downward spiral as we approach the word return. The church would become apostate and fall into bad doctrine where seeing it happen before our early eyes, and we find that Jesus would come back and snatch out those that are believers, and then turn back to continue his plan with Israel.

134,000 Jewish men will become saved, who will be the evangelist. Good morning, Pastor Hank. Good morning. I have a quick question for you. In the Millennial Kingdom, there are going to be children who are going to be born to believers who went through the tribulation. And hard to believe, but some of them are not going to be believers, some of their children. So how can there be peace when you have children being born? Well, the thing is that Christ will keep everything under control.

He’ll be, in a sense, a righteous dictator who will keep everything with a lid on it. But at the end, Satan is least for his short season. He’s able to round up all of his unbelievers, which are the ones you’re talking about, and there’ll be one last final battle at the end of the millennium that will expose the fact that the human heart is such that even with ideal conditions in Christ living on the earth that men will still reject the Lord.

I am not going to have to take a break here but again let me remind you that we are listeners supported. If you could help my mind as we close out the month of September we could really ease your help and your gift would be greatly appreciated. Would you call and offer to give a gift my credit card over the phone or call and ask for an all-group to be sent with our address on it and mail the gift in.

We truly are dependent upon you the listener. We’d been left for one of the crystal ward, but he supplies two people just like you. Call us, we’re gonna take a break, and we’ll come right back. And we’ll do a second half hour, so don’t go away. I’m Dr. Engins from this stay tuned, we’ll be right back. Don’t go away, Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. So, it’s so great to be with you.

I’m Dr. Engins from, and we’re enjoying being with you today here on Bibleline. and we thank you so much for tuning in and we hope that you’ll tune us in every day. You can catch us on the internet as often as you like by going to BibleLineMinistries.org and click on that spinning globe you’ll get radio, click on the camera, you’ll get our worship services, click on the TV set and you’ll get our television, click on the online bookstore, you’ll get our Resource Center.

Center. And by the way, this weekend, if you don’t have a church home, you can join our worship service live by going through the website, Bibleignmenstherees.org, click on the camera, wait patiently right around 11 o’clock, as soon as I begin the message, the audio and the video will come up and you’ll be able to watch and listen to the morning worship service. I hope you’ll try that. And tell that to your friends as well. And of If you have a good church and you’re attending your church, that’s wonderful.

Then maybe during the week or sometime later in the day on Sunday, you’ll be able to catch the Sunday worship service and we hope that you will. So in any case, we’re so glad to be with you. By the way, Israel coming up if you want to be sure, you can call and leave your name and address and mail that road to you. Well, mail it out today in fact. That is a trip for February 23, 2009. Then of course if the Lord comes back this feast of trumpets this year we’re cancelling the trip.

In fact we’re cancelling everything because we’re out of here and would not be something if the Lord would have come this year. But I’ll tell you, if we have the opportunity to go, every time we go I just enjoy watching people just change and grow while they’re on the trip. You learn so much about the Bible. It just can’t help it impact your life and affect it forever and after. People that go to Israel and come back, at least the ones that go with me, come back different and they have been impacted by the Word of God in such a way that they’re never the same again.

We’ll have a wonderful time and it’ll be a safe time and I think you’ll really clearly enjoy it. I hope you’ll get that brochure at least and start looking and thinking about it, pray and if you want to go, I’d love to have you join me on that trip. In any case, we are going to rejoin the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour of Bibleline. And if you would like to help Bibleline this month as we close out September, we can use your help to come out standing on our feet here with our bulls as we try to reach out to as many places as we can.

And of course, it all costs money and we depend upon our listeners totally. For that support, we don’t have any other means of support for Bible and we trust God to supply through our people. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline and it’s wonderful to be with you and it’s exciting really because we’re living in the last days, we believe Christ returned as soon and could be this year.

Who knows? We’ve been talking about that feast at Trumpets as a possible date for whatever year Christ comes and if He comes this year then we’ve got about two weeks left. Wow. Can you imagine? And look at what’s happening in the news. It seems like a worldwide meltdown of the financial areas of the world and investments and so on. Banks are crashing and, woo, my goodness. And look at the weather phenomenon, look at the plagues, look at the diseases, look at the all the different signs the Bible spoke about.

We have so many of them happening right now, but of course Israel is back in their land. And the threat there of nuclear war with the Benajan, all this is happening right at the same time. I know that you’ve been among my tippy toes. I’m ready to go. Should the Lord come this year? By the way, listeners supported. We are here at Bible and we count on our listeners to take care of the bills to keep us on the year.

And if you haven’t helped us this month of September, would you help us? We could really use your help to come out on top this month. And we really hate to talk about money, but you know the way that God has set it up is that we partner together. It’s always been that way in the Old Testament times, you know, when Israel went to war, there were people who had to stay home to watch over the flocks, to watch over the children to care for the homes and the fields.

When the Arnie came back with the spools of war, everybody shared equally. And so I believe everybody who participates with by the line, with your prayers and your gifts, will share equally in the rewards of this program and what is accomplishing in the lives of people that are listening to it. And we hear the stories all the time. You hear them too as you listen to the program. You know what it’s doing. And you also know what it’s doing in your own life.

I know that people are telling us constantly that Bible Land is really a very powerful tool of God in their life and pray for us that we can continue. We don’t want to ever drop a station, but sometimes there are some that are not supporting and we have to do the best we can to keep them on the air and that requires your gifts to be able to pull that off. Please play about calling today and giving a gift by credit card or call in an ask for an envelope to be sent and then mail a gift in to us.

We’re going to go to Ashland, Kentucky and we’re going to talk to Tim and Tim, welcome to Bible on your On the Air. Hi, Pastor. How are you today? Good question. I heard you’re in paragraph answer. I was just wondering if you would categorize or maybe agree with me in that we sometimes do a disservice to the gospel and that we talk more about non-essential things such as End Times than we do at Central Public Christian Faith, they are not cool.

And then by a logical extent, the sheer volume of time that we give to those concepts of End times enough. The things of justification, tone, that sort of thing, and what Christ did for us on the cross, by the level of how much we discussed and talked about it. Well, I agree. The gospel is number one, and I spend a lot of time talking about the gospel usually every day on this program. So many people don’t even realize what the gospel is and have departed away from the gospel that is given in the Bible.

And it’s become such that many have bought into a preferred gospel, which is an a cursed message that cannot save. I was raised in church and I heard a perverted gospel. I never heard the true plan of salvation until I was 18 and it was in a Bible study. In my neighborhood outside of the church, I didn’t get saved in my church. I don’t think I could have because I don’t think anybody there was saved, not even the pastor.

And so I believe it’s very important to talk about salvation. But definitely one third of the Bible is in somehow connected to the return of Christ. anguage of theological seminary says one third of the Bible is connected to the second coming. He feels that pastors who do not teach about it are delinquent in just ignoring a third of the scriptures. So certainly we need to talk about it. It’s a major theme in the Old New Testament that Jesus is coming again.

He’s going to deliver this earth from the curse and establish peace on earth good, well-taught men. And truly is exciting motivator for all of us to say, we need to get busy because Jesus good come at any time. And we want to make sure our loved ones are going to go with us at the Rapture should that happen. And if they were to die before the Rapture, then there would go to heaven. And I’ve definitely put the focus on the gospel.

Yesterday I had a funeral service. We had about a hundred people there, but about 25% of them got saved. What a wonderful thrill. So then they get more than that. But about 25% 25 under the 100 at least I believe trusted Jesus as their Savior and it’s an opportunity. I don’t miss opportunities if I can help it whether I have a wedding, I have a funeral, whatever I do, a baby dedication. I’m going to get the gospel out because that’s what’s most important and I agree with you that we can miss the picture there but I don’t think I’m ignoring the gospel at all And we’re spending time explaining what it is and what it isn’t, and how important it is to share it correctly in order to get results.

And if the clearer we are, the more effective we’re going to be. I believe our effectiveness as a witness is directly dependent upon our clarity. And if we’re not clear, we’re obviously not going to be effective. But if we’re clear in our message, we’re going to get a lot of people saved. So I think it’s a good point. Thank you for bringing it up. Tim and Ashlyn Kentucky. We now have Mary Ann in Lansing, Michigan, and Mary Ann. Welcome to Bibleline.

Thank you. Every month I really appreciate you being on the radio. I try to listen to you every day. Yesterday you had mentioned something about music, about, you know, we don’t get that much joy out of music. However, I was fortunate and I met through a southern gospel convention down lower there last week. And I just enjoyed it immensely. I also heard David Jeremiah talk about the second coming of the Lord, which is almost intimate. And I just believe that I’m a born-again Christian.

I love the Lord with all my heart. And I just want to answer again about music. I think music is wonderful. And I’m not saying anything about music. I’m just saying that we have something new in the church, which is a worship leader who’s given more credibility, more time than the pastor. And I think the word of God is what is to be preeminent. Music is at a lower level of importance than the preaching of His word. What we do here at Southern Worship and our church, and we also have a wonderful minister that preaches the gospel.

And it is a wonderful church that we just have fellowship together. But I did want to hear your answer again about the music because it really feels by heart and I just enjoy it so much. Well I do too. I also believe in preaching. I would like to hear your comments about David Jeremiah, how he’s preaching about the second coming. I like him. He’s right on. Well, we really enjoyed him. And I believe that the second coming is into that.

And I’m praying for the planes, also for my… Amen. Thank you for being on the phone. I enjoy you so immensely and the Lord bless you. Amen. Thank you, Mary Ann. I didn’t want to be said as good about this music thing because obviously there is music that glorifies the Lord and the Bible talks about us singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord every day and I think we ought to do that. We don’t have to have anybody else around and we can make a sense.

song in our heart to the Lord and make music to Him. But the major theme in the scriptures for the church is the coming together, the training of the people in the Word of God. And if you’re not careful, the music can be a tool to lead us away from the truth and not to the truth. So the music ought to be complementary to the program and I love the old hymns especially. And with some of the modern music they call it 7-11.

Seven free year phases repeated 11 times. It’s pretty shallow, pretty fluffy, pretty much without substance. And so we just have to be able to wade through that and pick out what is good. Alright, we have Bill in Lansing, Michigan and Bill, welcome to Bibleline Year on the air. Bill in Pastor Hank. Good morning. I’m not sure of what scripture is, but it says, once you’re tasted the heavenly gifts and you’re fallen away, there’s no more sacrifice and you’re re-crystifying Christ all over again.

I’d like to hear your comment on that. Thank you. Sure. Let’s… That’s in Hebrews, chapter 6, verses 4 through 6, where it says it’s impossible for those who are once enlightened or pasted of the heavenly gift made partakers of the Holy Spirit and so on. These are people that are saved. In the book of Hebrews, remember, is written to Hebrew believers who are used to that yearly sacrifice at the temple. And when they fell away, and that means not from salvation, which is impossible, but from fellowship or from their confidence or from their steadfastness as a Christian, that they felt the need to go back and become saved again.

And the Bible says that’s impossible. You cannot be saved twice, you cannot be saved again. So in order to try to be saved again, it says you crucify Jesus again to yourself and put him to an open chain. In other words, when you try to become saved again, you are really crucifying Christ all over again and it says to yourself obviously because he will never be crucified again. Hebrews 10 tells us by one offering. He has perfected us forever.

This man, Jesus, has offered one sacrifice for sins forever, set down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. So Jesus Christ made one payment that made a payment for all the sins you’d ever commit in your whole lifetime and everybody else in the human race as well. And it was just one sacrifice. So we don’t need another one. So when Hebrew 6 is talking about if you continue in the chapter there, it talks about serving again. So if you have gotten away from the Lord, all the way from serving or living for Christ, it says you ought to go back and start serving again.

Don’t go back and try to become saved again because that’s impossible to do. So many people take this verse to say you can lose your salvation, but the opposite is true. It’s saying you can’t lose your salvation because it’s impossible for you to become saved twice. Once you’re You say it better. And as I tell people, you’re stuck. So if you fall away and you know the phrase is used in the Bible of people that have fallen away from, as Peter says, their steadfastness or in Hebrews from their confidence, from their assuredness, and so it’s not talking about loss of salvation.

But what you need to do is get back and start serving again and walk closer to the world again but don’t go back and try to become saved again. So I hope that helps Bill and if you have internet access you can go to my articles. If you go to the home page of my website, BibleLineMinistries.org, just click on the right hand bottom corner where it says Dr. Lynch’s articles and look up in the title that was Hebrew 6, 4, 3, 6.

It’s pretty novel title but it says it all. So there you have it. Anthony, down in Venice, Florida and Anthony, welcome to my one, you’re on here. Anthony? Yes. Good morning brother Hank. How are you? Good. I got a question in the book of The book of James chapter 2, this is talking about faith and what, something? Yes. I just want to explain a little bit on that. I know that the Bible doesn’t contradict this self in any way.

However, I know that the Apostle Paul was talking about faith alone is how you receive salvation by grace, by the grace of God. But I just want to know why. white james you know mention this uh… you know this part here because of you know uh… james is talking uh… to believers and by the way is by faith alone and there’s 23 of James 2. He quotes Genesis 15 and points out that Abraham and points out that Abraham was saved by faith and not by works.

But he’s talking here about the Christian standing before the judgment seat of Christ and he will be evaluated for reward or loss of reward at that judgment before we enter heaven. And James is talking to believers about if they have no works, what kind of reward, what kind of profit will they have, they won’t have any. In the key verse is verse 12, I think in chapter 2 of James where it says, So speak ye and so do ye as though those that will be judged by the perfect law of liberty.

Well that law of liberty is the law by which Christians will be judged at the Judge and State of Christ where you have liberty to choose to serve the Lord or not. And if you have no works, the fact that you’re saved and have faith faith will not deliver you as it says in this 14 can faith save you. It’s really not saying here can faith save you from hell. Obviously if you trust Christ as your Savior, you’re saved from hell to go to heaven.

But this is talking about believers now. Can faith without works save you from the consequences of the judgment of Christ? And the answer is no. You will not be saved from the embarrassment, from the regret, from the sorrow, from the years from the loss of reward that you will experience if you don’t know for Christ. So James is saying to Christians, get off of your best of assurance and get after him do some works. And he says in James 1.25, it’s the doer of the word that’s going to be blessed.

He’s the one that’s going to be rewarded. And unless you’re doing, you’re not going to be rewarded. And so it will not save you from the embarrassment that will happen one day when you stand and will say I’m ashamed that you didn’t do anything for me when you had opportunity. So, Jesus told me my faith, plus works is without works as them is talking about it will have no results, no fruit, no reward at the judge and see of Christ.

I agree with you and I understand that I guess what it comes down to is that a lot of Christians, you know, as they, you know, I really don’t want to get into, you know, as far as religion goes, but let’s say perhaps, you know, most Lutherans, I don’t want to put them on the spot, but they believe that faith alone is, you know, is what saves you, but you know, you don’t have to do anything else, and I believe that it’s causing a lot of, you know, Christians to become lazy and this is why a lot of apathy is being caused and you know just the way I understood the verse was you know when I He was there going by faith with an action and I knew that if he didn’t do that what was his action or hes lenses to tell him to stop tended up.

I don’t know, but uh, uh… If James is talking about what men see, you know, says in verse 18, a man may say, I have works and you have faith. Show me your faith without your works, which you can’t do and I’ll show you my faith by my works. And so James is talking about what men see and what God is going to reward one day at the judgment seat of Christ, whereas Paul talks about what God sees. Now if you read Romans 4, 2, it says, what did Abraham find out about his works?

says, if Abraham were justified by works, Romans 4-2, he would have were of the glory, but not before God, but not before God. See his works would have gotten glory before men, but not before God. That can chronicles, well the fifth Samuel, it talks about the Lord looks on the outward, the man looks on the outward of his, but the Lord looks on the heart. So what man sees is your works and your deeds. If you want to be effective in this world and leading people to Christ and having an impact, you’re going to have to have works.

And those will bring about reward. And James is talking to believers. He says, you might as well start crying and weeping and howling right now. When the Lord of judgment comes, you’ll have no rewards. You’re going to be crying and shedding tears. And the very regretful when Christ comes back. James too is mild compared to what he does in chapter 5. He says, you better sit. compared to what he does in chapter 5. He says you better, you better start crying right now.

Don’t wait another minute because you’re going to be embarrassed. You’re going to be regretful. You’re going to be without rewards for eternity if you don’t serve the Lord here. But your salvation is never in jeopardy. I guess that leads to another question. Once we’re taken there to heaven, I thought that there was supposed to be no more pain or no more crying. I feel that. I mean, I can’t believe it is. There is at least for a time. You know, if you read the Revelation chapter 21, after the thousand year reign of Christ, it says then that God comes over in verse 4 and wipes the tears from our eyes.

So apparently from the time of the Rapture when we’re judged at the judgment of Christ, until the thousand years have expired and God establishes the new heavens and the new earth and we’re in the New Jerusalem, it’s not until then God comes away and wipes away the tears and it says from that point on there will be no more tears. So at least for a thousand and seven years Christians will cry and experience regret in heaven. So you definitely have a sorrowful time ahead if you don’t live for Christ.

Thank you now. Take care. Anthony down in Venice, Florida and James seems to be always a drug-troubling passage for some. We’re now going to go to Sherry and she is in her I can, West Virginia. So welcome to my line. Good to hear from you up there in West Virginia. Okay, thank you. Thank you for taking my call. I want to say, you know, I really appreciate you talking about the fees. I think we’d make the note about them.

But in the book of John, John it talks about you sure went into the synagogues and he kept the feast and he preached on the Sabbath day. I just want to know where in the Bible does it you know, did God change the Sabbath to the Sunday the first day. Okay on the resurrection of Christ he came back from the dead on the first day of the week and the next major appearance of Christ was on the eighth day that was the following Sunday, then we notice that the church age, which we’re living in, began on Pentecost, which was a Sunday, so the church was born on a Sunday.

If you read the book of Acts, the early Christians met every week on a Sunday. Let me just turn to Acts chapter 20 for just a moment. Let me read to you. But here talks about the Christians coming together to worship, and they came together on the first day of the week. I’m reading from Acts chapter 20 here, and it says in verse 7, and upon the first day of the week when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow and continue his speech until midnight.

and so you find that you really need pistols the same thing they came together and that’s when they were to take their offering on the first day of the week and so it’s a change of the age we have a big big Sabbath was given to Israel and we’ll obviously continue to be observed by Israel in the tribulation period but we’re going to be out we we obviously worship every Sunday as a commemoration of the fact that Chris Christ is risen from the dead and he collections to sixteen it tells us we’re not to judge anybody in respect of the seventh anymore because that was taken by christ and they’ll do his cross but isn’t that really later though but don’t got what he said he’s good to see ever change god is changed no it isn’t changed but i know but don’t you know we always keep the status because you know it

didn’t he didn’t say to do it that’s man’s interpretation to do it no god gave of the Sabbath to israel he never gave it to the gentiles unless you have used it lord of the Sabbath Why did you sue him? Why did you sue him? Because that’s when the Jewish people met. They still be on Saturday. The Greek were there also. Was it the Greek there also? Some of them came, I guess, to sue them at Paul, would say what Christ would say.

But the Sabbath day was the meeting day. That was when they would come together to worship. And that still is true for the Jews to this very hour. I’ve attended many Sabbath services of the Jews. They meet on Friday night when the Sabbath begins. If you go by a synagogue, you’ll find cars parked outside. And that’s when they meet. And the Sabbath, though, if you read Colossians 2.16, has been nailed over the cross and we’re no longer under the Old Testament Sabbath.

I am out of time, Shari. And we’re going to wind up the footbam. It’s Friday. I won’t see you again till Monday. We’ll be live on Monday again.
