God bless you. So good morning and welcome to Bibleline. I’m great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. It’s always great to be able to be with you as we come to you live from Tampa, Florida, from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor. And Merry Christmas to you and your family. We hope you have a wonderful, safe and glorious holiday as you celebrate the coming of our Savior into this world.

And hopefully it’s a great time for you to share the good news, the glad tidings of great joy which was to all people that unto us was born in that city of David Bethlehem, a Savior which is Christ the Lord. Jesus Christ is God, He is the Messiah, He is the Savior and there is no other Savior. There’s only one Savior and that’s Jesus Christ. You know, all men are lost and headed for hell, and unless they trust in that Savior, they will not be saved.

Did you know that the Matthew account and the Luke account are not the same? And the reason why is because they are separated in time by two years, that the shepherds in Luke’s Gospel come to the stable, but the wise men come two years later to a house. That’s right, and not the stable. They never met each other. And yet most every Christmas pageant, Christmas play, Christmas program, Christmas card has the shepherds at the stable and the wise men are hitched up outside with their camels and they’re there also.

true, and yet most people miss all of that. You know, when the wise men came, they came to a house, not a stable, and we know it was two years later. We also know that the wise men did not follow the star from the east to Jerusalem. You’ll notice in verse 2 of Matthew chapter 2. They said when they got to Jerusalem, where is he that is born king of the Jews, for we have seen past tense his star in the east.

It wasn’t right above them. They hadn’t seen it for two years. And we learned that because Herod wanted to know when they had seen the star and they inquired of him of them, and we find later in verse 16 Herod, then when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and sent forth and slew all the children in Bethlehem, and all the coasters of, from two years old and under, catch this, are you ready?

According to the time, according to the time, he had diligently inquired of the wise men. So apparently when he interrogated the wise men, they had said, Herod, we saw that star two years ago. And Herod, based on that information he gathered, killed every baby two years old and under to make sure that he had killed the baby that would be King of Israel. Isn’t that amazing? And you’ll notice in verse 11 When the wise men came to Bethlehem, they came into the house, not a stable.

And there they didn’t see a baby lying in a manger, but they saw a young child. The word for Jesus in loose gospel is a newborn. This here is a word in the Greek that means a young developing child. Jesus was probably walking and talking when the wise men arrived. And also it doesn’t tell us in Matthew’s Gospel how many wise men there were. I envision probably a couple of dozen and there’s nothing about kings and there’s nothing about three kings or three wise men.

We learn all of that from hymns and pageants and plays, but certainly not from the Bible. And when they came into the house, it tells us in Luke, in Re other in Matthew 2, 11, that they worshiped Christ. They didn’t worship Mary or Joseph, but they worship Christ. Here’s a two-year-old, and they’re worshiping Him. Why? because he is God who came and took on human flesh, and Christ is rightfully worshiped as God. You know the Bible forbids worship of any other thing or being or creature other than God to worship any other is blasphemy, and yet notice they worshiped Christ because this little to your old was the creator of the universe in a human body.

Then they opened their treasures and they presented unto Him gifts. Wow! So all the gift giving when described in the Bible was exclusively and 100% giving to Christ. Things have certainly gotten changed, haven’t they? There wasn’t an exchange here. They didn’t say, Mary, here’s a gift for you. Joseph, here’s a gift for you and here’s a gift for your baby or your young child and then Mary and Joseph got gifts up and gave gifts to the wise men. There was no exchange.

All the gifts were given to Christ and certainly we have gotten away from that haven’t we. In any case, Matthew’s gospel records an incident that took place two years after the birth. The wise men never came to the stable, and the shepherds never came to the house as far as we know. But in Matthew we have a house two years after the birth, and the wise men came to that house and saw Mary and Joseph and the young child, a two-year-old.

But in Luke’s Gospel we have a stable, we have the shepherds, and we have a newborn that had just come into this world that was laid in a manger. You know, the Bible record is interesting. And what’s so amazing is that every year we get it wrong. In our church, a number of years ago, we had a manger scene in the foyer of the church. And we had, of course, the stable, the animals, the baby lying in the manger, Joseph and Mary.

But we put the wise men on the other side of the foyer on a table on the other side of the entrance into our church on purpose because they didn’t arrive until two years later. It was so much fun. Visitors would come, not knowing, and would think that somehow the wise men were out of place and they would trying to be helpful, pick them up, carry them across the foyer and put them with the manger scene at the stable.

Our ushers, without letting on would chuckle. And after the people were seated, they would take the wise men and remove them from the stable and put them across the room on the other side because they didn’t come to the stable. They came two years later. And sure enough, more visitors would come in, see the wise men on the other side of the room, thinking that was some kind of error. Trying to be helpful, they would pick up the wise men and carry them over to the stable.

And after they were seated, our ushers would move them back. They did this back and forth all morning long. We had more fun with that. But you know, it’s true. The wise men never came to the stable. Read your Bible carefully. In Luke 2, the shepherds came to the stable. The wise men in Matthew 2 came to a house. Let me read the verse. Matthew 2, 11 says, and when they were come into the house, not stable house they didn’t say it doesn’t say that they saw a newborn lying in a manger but they saw the young child a young He was a growing developing child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and they worshiped this young child.

And then they presented gifts and they gave them to the young child. So a two-year-old here received all of these wonderful gifts that they had brought from the east, bold and frankincense and mer. Exciting, isn’t it? Well, in any case, this won’t change your eternity, but, you know, if you can’t get this right, you can’t get anything right. Because apparently you’re not reading your Bible as the source of your information. And you can, you know, not affect your eternity by not getting the Christmas story right.

But unless you get the Gospel right, you will not be saved. And so it’s very, very important that you understand the difference. And the difference is, of course that salvation is by faith alone in what Christ did and is not based upon our works, not based upon our deeds. It’s based upon what God did for us through Christ at the cross and it’s not based upon what we do for God. And yet most people are trying to work their way to heaven and are not going to make it because they’re attempting to work their way in.

I’m Dr. Engleinschruin, this is Bible and I hope and pray that you have trusted Christ as your Savior and receive the wonderful gift of everlasting life. And obviously that is the most precious gift that you could ever receive. And it’s what Christmas is all about. I went through 18 Christmases before I ever discovered what the Bible said about the real Christmas gift, the gift of eternal life that comes through trusting Jesus Christ as Savior. When I was 18, I finally heard the gospel explained, and I trusted Christ and received eternal life, which I still possess to this very moment, and will forever, because it’s eternal life.

Once you get saved, you’re saved forever. If you’re not saved forever, then you’re not saved, because that’s what salvation is all about. We’re going to go to the phone lines. This is Bibleline about trying to convince you. number is 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to talk to Dave in Plant City. Dave, welcome to Bible Life. Good morning, Dr. Hank. How are you today? Good. I’d like to thank you for your teaching all year and I’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas today and just give you all the thanks for all you do for everybody.

Well, thank you, Dave and Merry Christmas to you. And I want to ask you a couple questions today. Last night I was watching your shows and you made a comment about the song about We Three Kings that it wouldn’t write also. The wise men were not kings, right? That’s right. They were, the Greek word for wise men is really a scientist. They were oriental scientists. Scientists that came from the east probably observing the heavens and the stars. They saw this unusual star that they interpreted to be the fulfillment I’m a prophecy about from back in the book of Numbers about the Messiah and they set out on their journey.

It took them two years to get to Jerusalem from where they were. So it was a long journey and when they got there they said, where is he that is born king of the Jews and of course nobody seemed to know what in the world they were talking about. And so they were somewhat discouraged but then they saw the star appear again after the left Herod and then of course they went down to Bethlehem. Also, on your other show, you were talking in the book of Acts about Philip when he baptized the unique there.

It says in one of the verses that he believed with all of his heart, and I know a lot of people who have a lot of problems with what you teach about the heart, and if they would look in their concordance and use that verse, they would see that right there that word means mind. You know, and I started looking through the Old Testament and the other places in the concordance were references to the word heart and pretty much everywhere goes right back to mind.

And a lot of people are getting mixed up there with that and you sure clear that teaching up if they just listen to you and do a little studying. And also when this fill up was caught away, he was kind of basically raptured away there right after that event. Well, I don’t think physically raptured out, but I mean he was caught away or taken away from the presence of the eunuch and they both want their separate ways. Okay, I thought that word caught up there and I was wondering about that.

Didn’t you tell us one time there was five examples of the rapture in the Bible, five different like Enoch and the Old Testament and that there were examples? Could you explain that? Sure, Enoch was a picture of the Rapture as he was caught out prior to the Flood of Noah. Also, Lot was a picture of the Rapture as he was taken out of Sodom before the destruction of Sodom occurred and so on. So there are different pictures throughout the Bible of the Rapture, for sure.

Sure did. Thank you, Dave. And God bless you. We have now Ken in Decatur, Illinois. And Ken, welcome to Bibleline your own here. Hi, yes, Dr. Hank. New Living is terrible, it’s a paraphrase. And every time the word repent occurs, which from the Greek is metanoia, which means a change of mind, they put in that you have to be sorry for and turn from your sins, which is totally wrong. I don’t understand how they could even possibly get away with that because that is not good scholarship at all.

And as I said the other day about that particular one, it leaves the whole story out in Ephesians. 8-10 of Christ going down into the heart of the earth and delivering those that were waiting for their salvation for their sins to be paid for out of the heart of the earth and taking paradise up to heaven where it is now so that this side of the cross now we’re absent from the body and present with the Lord. As far as the amplified, it’s like a study tool because it’s kind of difficult to read in a way because it’s just defining words in the text for you, but it’s a study tool without having to go to your concordance and it’s right there in your Bible.

I think some of these things are aids to have alongside of your Bible, but it’s hard to find a good translation. There is not even a King James is perfect, but sometimes the new ones bring more problems to the table then they solve and then it’s scary how many times they delete important verses or phrases that are so significant. It’s really a scary time I think. I have to be safe, compare a lot and use your concordance and I still use the King James, I don’t have a problem with it.

These now disappear after a short period of time and it’s actually written in a fifth and sixth grade level, which surprises people. It’s not that difficult to read, that these and the vowels are the only problems that it causes for people. And most of the reference material and commentaries are geared to the King James. So you lose out on a lot of the information available to you in your study if you jump to one of the newer ones because the study materials have not yet caught up to be adapted to that.

you really I think lose out. Ken, I hope that helps. Okay, I Christmas. Same to you, Mary Christmas to you. Okay, bye bye. That was Ken in Decatur, Illinois. We have Mike in Brookville, or Brookfield, rather, Wisconsin. Mike, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Hi. Hi, Pastor Hank. Good to hear you. I’ve been in the blood-playing ministry for a couple of months now. I just want to thank you and your staff for all the work you do on Angel 1.

I watch on television and I listen to you up here in Wisconsin on the internet. Wonderful. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. Thank you and same to you. I have two questions for you. Okay I was reading in my Bible at work on break and John chapter 17 is a prayer of intercession. And Jesus is talking to his father and even here, and he’s thanking him for his disciple. Are you familiar with that? I sure am. Go ahead.

Okay, that’s on page 11-39, the school field. And the Bibleline that works in the school field. And I got to verse 12 where it says, while I was with them in the world, I kept them in my name. Both of that thou gave us me, I have kept. none of them is lost, but the son of the predition that the scripture might be fulfilled. My question is twofold. Who is the son of the predition and which scripture they are talking about because even the school field doesn’t have a reference there.

Well the son of the predition was Judas and Judas of course was never saved to begin with. So he was one of the apostles, one of the disciples and he was lost but otherwise no one ever is lost once they become saved. But Judas was never saved. And of course he was fulfilled and the Old Testament had foretold about the betrayal of Jesus by Judas without naming him by name. But it was certainly the fulfillment of that prophecy where…

You know which scripture they do? Well, there’s several different references to it. One of them is in the Psalms and it is let me see if I can find that real quickly where it says I think it’s Psalm 69 where he would be betrayed by a friend. It’s I think something is in that chapter. I think you just read down here. You’ll you’ll find that. and I left on page 631. Yeah. So it says a number of things here.

They hate me, verse four, without a cause. And then a number of them that hate him was more than the hairs of his head. He talks about verse eight. I am become a stranger under my brethren. That was the brothers of Christ that were the natural children of Joseph and Mary. And the next phrase goes on further explain I became an alien into my mother’s children. So Mary had other children that he was alienated from. Of course later after the resurrection they come to know Christ as Savior and it goes on how that he was just basically rejected and obviously as our Savior.

I didn’t really see the betrayal there, but it’s in one of these songs and it must be… You know, I thought my sculptor when I got home, I read it again, and I thought my sculptor would be helped me because I felt like I’d give like a letter, you know, in the middle column there. I know it only does. But I have to do my homework here. We’ll try to find that for you. But there’s a couple of references to the betrayal in the Old Testament and how it may be betrayed by one who is a friend supposedly, which was of course Judas who betrayed him.

We’ll look it up and try to say it before the program’s over if we can find it. Do you think the strong concordance would maybe have that? Yeah, the word friend is in the universe. Under the trail, maybe. Well, I think you would use the word friend. That’s what I would have got to be, because it says he’d be betrayed by a friend. So I think that I’m not sure the word betrayed is used, but maybe something equivalent. So check that out, Mike.

Okay, well, okay. Thanks for calling in. Mike from Brookfield, Wisconsin. We have Dwayne in Tampa, Florida and Dwayne. Welcome to my room. How you doing, not, Hank? Good. I’m Iata and I just wanted you on the air to stake their beliefs concerning salvation. So other people will know. Alright, the Church of Christ believes works works works for salvation. It’s incredible. They love to talk about how water baptism is essential. Acts 2, 38 is their favorite verse. I don’t believe that’s talking about water.

It’s talking about the baptism or cleansing or washing in the name of the Lord Jesus. I think that is proven in Acts 10 where you have a parallel situation going on and there they believed and they received the gift of the Holy Spirit which if you make Acts 2 38 water baptism then you have to be water baptized before you could receive the Holy Spirit but in Acts 10 they believe and receive the Holy Spirit and yet we’re not water baptized so it can’t be water and in fact in Acts 10 47 Peter says can any man forbid water that these should not be baptized Which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we.

So obviously they were saved. They had the Holy Spirit, but yet they were not yet water baptized. So Acts 2.38 doesn’t mean that. I have one track here in my office from the Church of Christ that lists 22 things you must do in order to be saved. But they just have a whole list of works that you have to do. And you can lose it, of course, which is another false doctrine. And they… Obviously you’re lost and I feel sorry for them.

They need to come to know Christ I’ve led some of them to Christ, but they’re very difficult to lead to Christ because they pretty much You know guard their people so that they don’t Stray away from their false teachings. Well, thank you for that call and Dwayne. I hope that helped a little bit We’re gonna have to go to break here. Merry Christmas to all of you and I pray for a wonderful holiday for you. We’re going to Joe in Petersburg, Virginia and Joe welcome to my blind you are on the air. Thank you for being a great knowledge and understanding with me and may you and yours have a good day. Thank you. There’s two questions that bother me. One down here I hear them say that when you’re baptized, Peter Paul says when you’re baptized, you must have baptized and they were Jesus.

Doesn’t Jesus say in Matthew somewhere that a baptized in the name of a father and son and holy go? Matthew 28, 19 and 20, you’re right. What’s correct there? I think either one is fine. I don’t think there’s any magic formula there. We are baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I usually say it that way when I baptize. We have baptized a bunch of people this year and I always do it that way.

But if you read that verse carefully, it says the name singular of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We find that the eternal Father is Yahweh or Jehovah and the eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ is Yahweh or Jehovah and the Holy Spirit is Yahweh or Jehovah. So they’re all three eternal persons that are existent as one God. So I don’t think it really makes a difference. And there are those who make a big.

I don’t think there’s a point to be made. So I think our color has gone off here but hopefully that helps a little bit. We have Jeff down in Venice, Florida and Jeff we welcome you to the Bible and program. You’re on the air. Hey Dr. Lindstrom, first of all Mary Christmas, Thank you for taking my call. You and I were talking yesterday about election and I just wanted to clarify what we were talking about. The Bible specifically and clearly says that there’s an elect group of people that were chosen before the foundation of the world.

The book of Revelation clearly that the names in the book of life were added before the foundation of the world. Now you and I disagree on how those names were chosen to say that you and I agree that this is already doctrine with God. He already has chosen therefore to say that all men can indeed come to Christ. Well let me just go back and say that he has elected to save all that would believe and all are invited to believe.

So potentially, absolutely every person on the planet can be saved. Christ died for all men, for God’s love the world. In 1 John 2, 2, it says Christ is the propitiation, the satisfying sacrifice for our sins, and not ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And so what God did, and here’s my illustration, let’s say that there were an airplane leaving from Tampa this afternoon nonstop from here to Detroit. The airlines long ago determined that that flight, whatever number it is, would fly nonstop from Tampa, Florida to Detroit.

And that’s been determined. Now it’s your choice. They’ve elected to take everybody on that plane to Detroit. But it’s your choice. Would you buy a ticket and get on the plane? And so God before the foundation of the earth has elected to save all that would believe. But in real time, whenever you’re living out your life, if you respond to the gospel and become a believer, then you become one of the elect. But God has not chosen Jeff by name to be saved.

He hasn’t chosen Hank to be saved before the foundation of the world. he chose to say those that would believe. Now he foreknows my choice, but he doesn’t foreknow it because he made the choice for me. So definitely everybody has an opportunity to be a part of the elective and potentially everybody on the planet can be saved. And so I disagree with you on that particular point. Thank you, +# Jeff for bringing that up and now we’re going to Ken in Clearwater, Florida, and Ken, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Yeah, I am Eric Christmas to you and all your listeners. Sometimes I feel like I’m883 a member of a church listing with all the listeners all over the country and all over the world there. Well, thank you. And certainly as the body of Christ, we are the true church, all of us. One question I have for you, I was looking through my skill field on page, I guess it’s 1148 here in Acts, there’s a note. He’s giving some references about the Rapture, there’s a typical ones of the F.S.Lonians 1 chapter 4 in Corinthians, 1 Corinthians chapter 15.

And there was one, I don’t know, maybe I had the wrong in my mind. reference is Matthew 24 with verse 36 and 44 that sort of tell about the hour you know you think that price of price. Well that’s the second coming not the Rapture and that he has listed under you know the the Rapture one’s here and that would be wrong. So again there’s some notes I would disagree with also but Matthew 24 is clearly the second coming not the rapture at all and and perhaps some?

those others are also You have to really be a the second coming in not the rapture you have to really be careful student rightly divide the word or you can get confused in obviously that note is wrong if that’s what it says that company by surprise or one other thing if I have this straight you know the second coming will basically be seven years after the rapture. I’m 18. That’s right. I’m 18. I’m 19. I’m 19. I’m 19. All right.

I’m 19. All right. All right, that’s all right. That’s all right. All right. Let’s do it. Now, let’s do it, okay. All right. Let’s do it. So. Okay. That’s all. All right, Maggie. That’s it. I wouldn’t be surprised to the people that obviously say you weren’t a believer and you saw all the believers leave, then you might make you become a believer right away after that if you were sort of mixed up that really weren’t a believer but knew some of the Bible.

You would realize that the second coming would be seven years after all your friends that were believers left and that would no longer be in like a career. That’s true. What probably levels the playing field here is that Satan is going to tell a lie, according to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, that will be believed by many as to what happened to those435 that have been believed. So I think many unsaved people are going to be deluded and believe that lie, whatever it is, it might be that flying saucers and aliens have taken a group off of the earth, and I think Hollywood is prepared as for that kind of an answer.

I don’t know what the lie will be, but there will be a lie told, and that’s probably what we’ll kind of level the playing field there. Otherwise, it seems like, boy, that’s pretty obvious if a group of people disappear. That would clearly be the rapture, but there’ll be other explanations given out there by the devil that apparently will be believed. So he’ll actually be able to brainwash people I guess. You got it. Okay, thanks again for your ministry. All right.

And that is in 2nd, Pennsylvania, and you see that. We have Susie in Clearwater, Florida, and Susie, welcome to Bibleline, and you’re on the air. Hi, Dr. Lindstrom. This is just more of a praise report. I’d like to say to tell you how you bless us and your callers, bless other people. three or four months ago i had this man come to my home to fix my phone and he picked the phone and he goes prays the lord and i looked at him and i said oh that’s cool and then he said i normally don’t ask this but are you a christian and i said yes i love the lord so then i said are you he said yes and i said well where do you go to church and he goes calvert community church and he told me you were his pastor I told him

I go to Calvary Chapel in St. Pete, which is in Pinellas Park, and Pastor Danny Hodges is my pastor, wonderful pastor. So it was kind of cool. We started talking about Abrahamammu and Sarah in the Middle East conflict, and then we started talking about Bibles. And so I guess he learned from you. We said, well, check to see if you have Acts 8, 37 in your Bible. And I do. And so I’m in a Bible study group that’s called Salt and Light, and we were happening to be in the book of acts and everybody that we all read like three or four phrases and then we discussed the book or whatever and so I said well everybody turned eight chapter acts eight chapter eight thirty seven and the look on their face was priceless no one had it in their books but my Bible did it was just it was just everybody was just like it they couldn’t

believe it you know so it was just so cool from you know that how you blessed people and they blast us and then we blast them and everybody you know last is everybody and then real quick i just want to tell you since you always talk about the school field bible i have lots of bible and i wanted one well i went to the flea market the other day and i’m going through this box of books it was like fifty cents and i opened it and here’s a school field bible well i think everybody in the flea market knew it i i don’t think they ever saw anybody so excited over a bible and so that everybody was saying what did she find and then we started talking about you and how you use it and and and then and then i had to pay five dollars

because lady goes oh i don’t know where the school field well that would be five dollars you know so i just thought that i just wanted to share that to you and i wanted to ask you and your school field bible mind of nineteen sixty seven the one that i found do you have introductions to the nineteen oh nine and the nineteen eighteen one in the final year Bible.

Mine is the 1909 and in 1917. Oh, it is. Yeah, so that’s the only one we really prefer. You must have one of the newer ones in the notes or are watered down. They’re not quite as good. It’s still a good Bible, but I recommend the old Schofield over the new. You have one of the newer ones. They’ve tampered with that. They’ve actually added notes in that one that were not written by Dr. Schofield. Some of those I disagree with, but for the most part it’s a good Bible.

Yeah, I noticed that. I noticed that too. Yeah. Well, I was just so happy, like I said. Good. Lots of Bibles and I use them all and they’re all, you know, I just want to say Christmas is every day for us. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Susie. Okay, thank you. That was Susie in Clearwater, Florida. You have to be careful when you buy a Scofield if you’re looking for what I use as the old and that would be the 1909 and 1917, which we have in our resource center here.

But most of the bookstores are selling the later versions, which are not quite as good. They’ve actually taken the old notes by Dr. Schofield and rewritten them so they can renew their copyright, get a new copyright. And some of those notes are kind of bland and watered down. They don’t have the punch of the original ones. Alright, we have an answer for an earlier color and that is in Psalm 41 verse 9 we have the betrayal of Christ by Judas foretold.

That’s Psalm 41-9 and also certainly a reference in Zechariah in chapter 11 verse 12. So I’m going to write that down Psalm 41, 9, and Zechariah 11, 12. Hard to believe that Monday is going to be Christmas, and again we want to wish every one of you a Merry Christmas and a real happy and safe holiday, and hopefully it will be Christ-centered because it’s really all about Jesus. And hopefully you’ll be safe if you travel or if your relatives travel to you that they will be safe as they travel back and forth.

We have several here, off air questions. We’ll try to take a few of these. Catherine in New York calls and says, I need verses that show unbelief is the way to hell. I have been told that suicide is the way to go to hell. It’s obviously been a wrong teaching based on the fact that Judas committed suicide and then went to hell. But he didn’t go to hell because he committed suicide. Judas went to hell because he was never a believer.

You see that in John 664. But certainly that unbelief is the way to go to hell. It was John 3.18. He to believeth not on Christ is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. So John 3 18, John 3 36, he to believeth on the Son has eternal life, but he to believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. So Catherine I hope that helps.

We have a caller from Memphis, Tennessee and we’re going to Clinton in Memphis, Tennessee. Welcome to Bibleline. How are you doing? Good. I got a question there. What did you take on the Church of God in Christ? Their beliefs. I’ll just hang up and… All right, Clinton, I’m not too sure. You know, there’s a lot of people use that name. So I’m not particularly sure about that particular one. If you have internet access, you can usually use Google or one of the other search engines engines and find out what a particular denomination believes by going to a website that will outline that for you.

That’s what I would recommend. So I really am not quite sure. There’s so many that use names like that that are quite similar to one another and I really don’t want to get it wrong. So I’m going to hold off and recommend you use that or give us time and We’ll Google it up on our computer and find out for you. Kyle in Sarasota says, please explain chair bims and serifims. Well, that’s nearly for first of all, chair bim is plural by itself.

So we don’t put an S on chair bim and make it chair bims. And serifim is plural by itself. And so we don’t put an S on serifim and make it serifims. That’s totally wrong. A chair is the singular, a serif is the singular, and when you put the I am ending on these, that makes it plural so you don’t add an S. The Bible is about the throne of God. They are not angels, but they are like in Revelation 4.

You read about the four living creatures that are about the throne of God. They are the cherubs. The serums are mentioned in Isaiah 6. Again, these are special beings. there’s a very limited number. I would imagine totally less than 24 probably, maybe even less than a dozen total cherubs and serums in the whole universe. So hopefully Kyle, that’ll help us Kyle in Sarasota, Florida. We have Edgar in Petersburg, Virginia and Edgar welcomed by one. How are you doing Dr.

Hank? Good. In Revelations 19 and 20 and then Revelations to the Beast and the False Prophet are the first to be cast into Gehenna. Can you explain? You’re exactly right. So at the beginning of the millennium the Antichrist and the False Prophet are cast into the eternal like a fire, Satan is bound up in the bottom of the pit in Hades, and at the end of the millennium he joins them, then Satan’s angels, then human beings are brought up out of Hades and cast into the eternal hell.

So that is exactly right, and you have been a good student to find that out for yourself there. We have the phone lines open right now for a moment anyway, 1-800-576-3771. By the way, as you give gifts, if you haven’t included Jesus on your shopping list, would you consider Bibleline as a way of giving a gift to Jesus at Christmas time here? gift would be greatly appreciated as we’d like to make sure that we pay out all of our bills and enter the new year with no debt.

Also, we want you to know that we really covet your prayers. Bibleline is a ministry totally dependent upon the Lord and your prayers are obviously a vital part of blessing this ministry and keeping it going. And so if you’d put us on your personal prayer list and pray for us each and every day that God would continue to use this program to reach the lost and to challenge the saved and to point people back to the scriptures because we have really seen a great departure here recently from the word of God.

Alright, we have here Brad and St. Pete is asking about different groups asking for money at this time that are religious. Again, you need to be careful that you give intelligently and give to those that are sound, doctrinally, because it says in 2 John, verse 11, that if you bid a false organization, Godspeed, or bless them by your words or by your gifts, you are then a partaker of their evil deeds. And that would be a negative. And I believe you’d lose rewards in heaven, so you certainly don’t want to do that.

We have Ron here on the line and Ron is calling in from Jackson, Virginia and Ron, welcome to my one. Jacksonville, Virginia. Ron, you’re on the air. Hello, Ron? Yeah, Pastor, it’s a mechanicsville, Virginia. Oh, mechanicsville, okay. Yeah. We got confused here, but we know where you are now. Okay, great. Hey, look, I was my church can work of grace. Is there anything in the Bible about that? Nope, that is a false doctrine. Generally that second worker grace has to do with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is, indwells the believer, seals the believer, baptizes the believer, and regenerates the believer at the moment of belief. So you have all of the works of the Holy Spirit happen at the moment of belief when you trust Christ the Savior and that is a false teach you. That’s what I didn’t really buy that up. All that happens when you accept Christ, the Holy Spirit comes in, but you know when it talks to renew yourself each morning and what Holy Spirit…

That’s your Christian walk. You know, whenever we start our day off with the Lord, it’s like our Christian walk or experience with the Lord, but our salvation and receiving the Holy Spirit all occurs at the moment we trust Him as our Savior. Savior and that’s eternal. Right. That’s what I believe. Thank you, sir. All right. Thank you for calling in. Run from the canisville, Virginia. And anyway, we’re at the end of the day. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Have a great holiday. Again, if you would pray for Bible and that would be wonderful. If you’re giving a gift to Christ, could you consider Bible and we’ve got to run. Keep looking up.
