And if you have an off-air question, you want to leave it off here and not get up on the radio program, you can do that as well. Again, it’s Christmas time and if you would consider giving a gift to Bibleline that would be greatly appreciated as you give your gifts, have you included Christ? And maybe you might consider including Bibleline as a way of giving a gift special to the Lord here at Christmas time.

So if you can, consider that and that help us as we want to close out this year with everything paid for and taken care of and into the new year free of any bills outstanding. Thanks again and in advance for your prayers and for your gifts to Bibleline. And again we’re going to open up our Bibles. You know Christ is mentioned in Genesis 3.15 we talked about this yesterday and it gives us the two comings of Christ in this wonderful verse but also it tells us that Christ’s death of Calvary was planned before the foundations of the earth.

So obviously what happened at Christmas was not some afterthought something that just kind of happened by circumstance the death of Jesus Christ is coming into this world was all foreplanned by God, and he, through the prophets, unveiled this plan and even tells us where Christ would be born. You know, Micah chapter 5 verse 2 tells us hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years in advance that Christ would be born in Bethlehem. If you read that verse carefully, it tells us which Bethlehem did you know?

Did you know that there are two Bethlehem’s in Israel, one in northern Israel, which is where in Zebulon, which is way up in the north part of Israel, then there’s also one in the area of Rastran Jerusalem, which is of course the one that Christ was born in. It says in Micah 5-2, but thou Bethlehem Ephrata, telling it which Bethlehem Christ would be born in, and sure enough, that’s where Christ took on human flesh. It tells us that the one born in Bethlehem would be the one from whose going forth had been from a old, even from everlasting.

Only God is everlasting and Jesus Christ is that one who has existed from eternity past and He is the only one that is from everlasting and he is the one that that very passage tells us We’ll come back as a king one day to rule over this earth and bring peace on earth good will toward men as we read through the Bible there are are lots of verses that trace from the very beginning the genealogy of Christ. In Luke chapter 3 we find it starts with Adam and then it goes to Seth and it goes through a whole string of people that take us right down to when Jesus was born.

And obviously, Jesus Christ was related back to Adam and Eve, except the sin nature was not passed on to Christ because we have the virgin birth. If Joseph had been the father of Jesus, then Christ would have been a sinner and hence could not have been the Savior. Yet he was related back through Mary to Adam and Eve. If you read the genealogy in Luke 3, it is about Mary’s side of the family. And if you read the one in Matthew chapter 1, it is about Joseph’s side of the family.

The genealogy in Matthew is about Joseph and the Kingly line of Solomon and the one in Luke is about the other side of the family that was Mary and how she’s also related back to King David but through his son Nathan, not Solomon, who was of the Kingly line. What is interesting is that there was a curse placed upon the Kingly line of Solomon. There was a wicked king named Konaia or Jekoniah, and Jekoniah was obviously one that really got God mad at him.

He took the word of God when Jeremiah the prophet brought it to him and he took his knife and sliced up the little pieces. He did not like God’s word. And God really got angry with him and cursed him and said, no man of this man’s seed shall ever sit upon the throne of David ruling over Israel. And so, you know, it looked like this made it impossible because the prophecies had said that Jesus, the Messiah, would sit one day on the throne of David being heir to that throne.

So anybody that was physically related back to King Konaiah would not be able to sit upon the throne of David. And guess what? Through Solomon, all the way down to Joseph, Joseph had one that had that curse upon him. And if he had been the real father of Jesus, Christ would have had the curse of Konaia. He could not have sat upon the throne of David, which he will do at his second coming. And then hence he could not have been the Messiah who would have fulfilled the prophecy that he would sit upon the throne of David.

Everywhere you read in Luke chapter 1 when Mary is told by the angel that he shall be great. He shall be called the son of the highest and he shall sit upon the throne of his father David. Well, he couldn’t if he was physically related back to Solomon and had the curse of Konaiah upon him. But again, the virgin birth delivers Christ from that curse. And so Joseph could pass on the airship to the throne, but he wouldn’t pass on the curse.

Isn’t that a fascinating thing? And by the way, Mary and Joseph, after Christ had been born, had at least six natural children born to them. In Mark chapter 6 it names four boys by name that Joseph and Mary had. Plus there were two girls at least. It says sisters. It could have been three sisters or four sisters or five sisters or who knows how many. But at least two because it’s plural. And so they had at least six natural children after Christ was born.

That’s Mark chapter 6. You know, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that Mary never had any other children that she was perpetually a virgin. And of course, that is simply not true. The Bible record tells us that she had four boys, at least a minimum of two girls. And what is interesting, what about these four boys? Could they not have been the Messiah? No. All four of them had Joseph as their father, therefore they had the sin nature of Adam and would have been sinners and hence disqualified as a Savior.

Secondly, they could not have sat upon the throne of David because the curse of Konaiah was upon them, and they could not sit upon the throne of David. Only Jesus could have qualified to be the Messiah. He had to be a man, and he was. of the flesh and he was a son born to Mary. And we find that he could make the payment for another because he was sinless. If he was a sinner, he would have to pay for his own sins and could not pay for the sins of another.

But because he was also God, he could make an infinite payment and pay for the sins of the whole race. And we find that he had to be, of course, of the lineage of David. And he was Joseph through Solomon and Mary through Nathan. And if you look at the two genealogies in Matthew and Luke, you’ll find that’s where the difference is. It’s the same from Adam right down to David. And then at David it splits. And in In Luke you’ll find Nathan mentioned, and then those that are descendant of him bringing us down to Mary.

And in Matthew you find David and then Solomon, and those descended from Solomon right down to Joseph and then Jesus. And of course the virgin birth is clearly taught throughout the New Testament. Jesus Christ is God who took on human flesh, born of a virgin. Isaiah the Prophet said, 740 years before he ever came, that the Lord would give a sign, behold a virgin would conceive and bear a son, and his name would be called Emmanuel. And Jesus Christ is that Emmanuel.

Emmanuel is a Hebrew word that means God dwelling with you, or God with you. Jesus Christ is God, who came and dwelt among us here on the earth. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. I hope you’ve trusted Jesus as your Savior because without trusting Christ you cannot be saved. And again, we invite you to give us a call here at Bibleline. We’ll take our calls now. 1-800-576-3771. 800-576-3771. We have an off-air question, Brad, from Clearwater Calls in. He says he bought a $2 thrift store Bible.

The Duet Reams, are you familiar with this Bible? What is your opinion? Well, it’s the Roman Catholic Bible, but it has a number of problems with it. They’ve come up with a couple of translations since then that are much better. There’s the Confaternity Edition of the Bible. Also the New Jerusalem Bible that are much better. In the Duet Reams, they really did some sleight of hand and they did a number of things that would be objectionable, but those are corrected in some of the more recent ones.

I have all of them in my library, and certainly the Bible is so wonderful that even though there are temps on the part of men to change things, it’s so complete in 66 books that you can’t really erase the Gospel. And the Gospels generally pretty clear. In Ephesians 2, 8, in the Confaternity Version of the New Testament, which is a Roman Catholic approved version, it says, 4 by grace, you have been saved through faith. The tense is very clear that as Paul writes to the Ephesians, he tells them about their experience of salvation that they had been saved when they trusted Christ as Savior through faith in Christ that God then bestowed his grace or mercy upon him.

The salvation was not as the outcome of anything that they did. It was the gift of God not of works. And again, those are very clear in most all of these translations. Ephesians 2.89 are powerful verses We have Rick waiting in Lutz, Florida and Rick welcome to Bibleline Your Own The Air. Dr. Hank, how you doing? Good. I had some prize that he was just saying, he was just saying, I fulfilled the King and also the High Priest where he took his blood to the Mercy Sea.

And the person asked me, well, he’s not related to the Levites, you know, which is the priest. And I said, well, he’s in the order of Melachizedek, which is before the, I’m just asking before the line. I saw him that was actually a pre-incarnation of Christ. If you look at it, you know, and showed him in Psalms and Genesis and Hebrews, was I correct with that or? Well, you’re absolutely right. And Christ was the tribe of Judah. And the Levite tribe was a totally different tribe.

And Jesus, we believe, appeared back there in Genesis 14 to Abraham after he had gotten the victory over the kings there in the Sodom Valley and recovered his nephew a lot. And we find that the Bible says that he, Christ, would be a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. And it was a superior priesthood. If you read the Hebrews, it says that those priests obviously weren’t in, were not effective in that they had to continually offer sacrifices, and that they also died so they couldn’t continue to do what they had to do.

But Christ obviously offered one sacrifice for sins forever by His one-time death at the cross, and because He lives forever, therefore He could make good on His promises and as a high priest can guarantee salvation to us who have trusted Christ as our Savior. Could never take away sin, right? Well you’re right on track there Rick, thank you. All right that was Rick in Roots, Lutz, Florida and we have Eric in St. Paul, Minnesota and we welcome you to the program.

I’m, uh, uh, this is Eric in, uh, St. Paul, Minnesota. Welcome to Bibleline. I think I’ll be on today. Good. Good. Hey, I was, I was near radio broadcast over the, uh, on the internet, usually stream, the men’s podcast. And I was in the archives a few, I think it’s from the end of November. And I had a question. I thought you told a caller, uh, a gentleman called in and you might remember if he was really broken up that it’s probably converted to his, Yes.

And you guys are talking about that. And you made a reference to Daniel 911. Yes. And you’re talking about how the word for curse is the Hebrew word sounds like Allah. And you mentioned that in your commentary, it was a prophecy fulfilled that Allah is not a curse upon the earth. Well, it seems like, if not a direct reference, maybe a coincidence, but it is interesting that the word curse is Allah, and certainly today the curse on the world is Islam and this religious system that is obviously the radical Islam wants to conquer the entire earth, and they say by the year 2030 that the entire earth will come under their control.

In fact, they say the first country in Europe will be England, and they’re ready to take down Europe and anyone to take us down in the West and control the whole world. So you were saying it was more of a coincidence? Well I wonder because 9-11 is the verse of reference and that certainly is when we all we got our attention when it was Islam that attacked America and that started this war that is apparently not finished till all of us are either dead or become converted to Islam.

And the word curse, interestingly, when you look it up is the Hebrew word Allah. Well, the only reason I brought it up is that I was just concerned that if kirman knew If we, if we read, I’ll think it, correct me if I’m wrong, it’s from, it’s from, it’s, if we, if we, Allah, Allah, Allah, it really wasn’t, you know, Muhammadism, Islam, didn’t begin till six centuries after Christ. So this is clearly something way in the Old Testament. And, but whether you want to make much out of a verse or not, truly the curse upon the world today is Islam, because it is out to take over the world and to destroy and kill every person that does not submit.

to Allah, which by the way is a false religious system. Allah is really the moon god and the people in Islam pray to the moon. That’s why on every minaret, every prayer tower, everywhere you go, there’s an aggressive moon at the time because they pray to the moon. And Allah is the moon god. Obviously the Bible warns early in Genesis on that we’re not to worship the sun, the moon and the stars. God’s creation. There we go. The Bible warns that in particular in the last days that men would worship the creation rather than the Creator who created them.

This is where we’re going where we’ve gone so far from God that we are now worshiping the creation. I totally agree. I meant to preface my question by agreeing that obviously Islam is a false system with the works right on i think we agree on our conclusion on islam that it’s all that that it the state of his life today is definitely a curse upon the upon the world and my only question was interpretation wide i would agree with you i’m not made hard and fast that that is a prophecy naming islam but it seems to be a fascinating coincidence if it’s not because it is the and obviously the numbers of the chapters and the first numbers were established a many many years later and uh…

i don’t necessarily think that they’re inspired at all uh… but uh… in any case it is fascinating there is a coincidence here that is nine eleven and the fact that uh… the curse that would come uh… the word curse is all of so uh… i i just leave it for people to ponder and think about it and could it be? And I’m not hard-fast saying it’s an interpretation that we can stand by and say, this is an absolute prophecy about Islam.

I will not say that. Fair enough. And I guess, and the reason why I want to say that was because we know that the Greek word for but, the New Testament is Allah as well. And so, you know, the word Greek, the Greek word for but means kind of the bigger one of the, of those words are translated to but, It is phonetically it’s a la. So if we wanted to look for a la in scripture and try to find correlations that the Bible probably wasn’t intending, we could find them all over the place and then the New Testament wouldn’t mean anything.

If every kind of word sounded like a la meant it’s a la. That was my concern. Okay, I agree with you and I certainly understand exactly what you’re saying and I agree with you. Thank you. Have a good day. Eric up in St. Paul, Minnesota. I bet it’s cold up there today. I don’t know, but I would imagine it is. I’m glad I’m down here in sunny Florida. What a beautiful day it is here today. Clear skies, cool weather, just absolutely beautiful.

We have Lee in Port Charlotte, Florida. He just called in and leaves this off air question. What is the standard of attire for church service? It seems so many are wearing whatever they want. ever they want. I believe that one should dress their best. Well, I think if you think about it and you’re coming to worship the creator of the universe, wouldn’t you want to be dressed your best? Now, if you were going to be invited by the White House to come and meet with the president, would you wear flip flops and jeans and a raggedy shirt or whatever or a t-shirt, probably not.

And so obviously, I think we, and of course we wouldn’t keep anyone away because they didn’t have the money for a pair of nice shoes or they didn’t have clothes that were not raggedy or whatever. But certainly, I think that people ought to dress for church, not to be seen of others, but just simply to show respect to God himself. So Lee, I certainly agree with you, but we never turn any way, anyone away or look down upon a person who doesn’t come with the best attire by our standards.

But certainly, hopefully, people would think about what they’re doing when they come to church. And I think somehow we’ve lost that today. Church has now become entertainment and it’s more like going to a sports event or a theater event. you just dress as you want. But it’s not for us to be entertained, it’s for us to go and come into the presence of the Lord in the sense that the service is devoted to that purpose so that we might worship the Creator of the universe.

And I think we ought to look our best simply at a respect for the Almighty Himself, the Lord, the Creator of the universe. Thank you so much. Off here, we have Anonymous in Brandon, Florida, and he says, please explain this earthly house in 2 Corinthians 5. It’s talking about our body. It’s a house for our soul, and it’s only temporary, but it talks about a new house waiting for us in heaven speaking of our new body. And that’s exciting.

We have a new body not made with hands eternal in the heavens, according to the second written in his five, this house will die and will get a new house as believers in which will live with the Lord forever and ever. First half of my mind is just about up and we’re going to go to break here but we’ll come back and do a second half hour. Again thanks for tuning in and you can call us here at 1-800-576-3771.

Again Merry Christmas to all of you and I hope you have a wonderful holiday and we We look forward to you joining us each day here on the radio Monday through Friday on Bible and we’re going to go to that break and we’ll be right back. So keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. Don’t go away and we’ll come back and do the second half of Bible on. A Bibleline will be back in a moment. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771.

That’s 1-800-576-3771. 21. Well I’m Don Dremen, this is Bible and we really enjoy being with you every day. I hope you enjoy as much. We have visitors coming by all the time that tell us how the program has meant so much. We met a gentleman yesterday who said he’s learned more from Bible and then he has in all the churches he’s attended in all of his life and he’s up there in years. And so we hear that story so many times that unfortunately today our churches are not really teaching or instructing in the Word of God as they should.

And we’re so glad that Bibleline can be a tool, an instrument, a blessing to you in learning the Word of God. And so I hope that you’ll pass that word along and help us grow our audience. I hope also that you’ll pray for us and maybe even help us financially as wePtrtly listeners supported. We don’t have a piggy bank. We don’t have a reserve account. We don’t have subscribers. We don’t have pledges. We just have gone and we trust him every day to supply the needs that we have here at Bibleline and God raises up people just like you who are the ones who are the real heroes because they’re the ones that enable us to be on the air.

It’s quite expensive to be on the radio and on television. And we don’t have those resources. And nobody here at Bibleline receives any salary. All of our funds go right back into the program and paying for air time, satellite time, phone, special phone lines that we have, digital phone lines, and for long-distance calls and just everything else, equipment and so on. It’s really quite a venture, but we thank God for all of you who pray for and give to Bible and we thank you.

We praise the Lord and we are saying here at Christmas, if you would consider giving a special gift to Bible and that would really help us as we enter the new year. We’d like to make sure that nothing is owed from 2006 as we enter 2007. gift to be appreciated and you can give a gift by sending it by mail. You can also give a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also go to the website, BibleLineMinistries.org and on our online book store there’s a place also for you to be able to give a gift.

And we thank you in advance. God bless you. Have a wonderful Christmas. Whether you give or not. We love you just as much, but if you can give, that would be greatly appreciated. And we thank you. And we know that some can’t give very much, but every gift counts and every gift will help. We’re going to do the second half of Bibleline right now. Hey, Good morning preacher. I say preacher because many people are pastors, but some are called to preach and I think you’re a preacher. Well, thank you. And you were talking about the Sisters of Jesus ahead of you, a little booklet by Janna Rice about 20 years ago called Spectators at the Cross, a beautiful little book. And as you study it, you know if you go like most people don’t study this way, but I’ll go from like Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and look for all the verses that are comparing whatever I’m looking for.

And in Matthew 27, 56, it says Mary, the mother of James and Josie. Now you’ll see the patterns show up and in Mark 1540 you’ll see the sister show up. Mary, the mother of James the last and of Josay, or whole of the hell he pronounced it, and Salome. And then if you go to Luke 2410 it will once again mention Mary as the mother of James. So by reasoning that by using the Holy Spirit it’s, I know you probably have already said this, but many people don’t know the girl’s name.

They think he maybe was a veil dancer the seven veils that don’t have you ever heard probably the name so all me in the In the secular world, you know, hey man. Well, that’s wonderful and thank you for sharing that with us A lot of people don’t realize the brain Joseph had children at all and it’s clear that they did Well, like I said, I wanted to thank you for your your when I when I complimented you the first time I called I said thank you for mentioning the blood because so many are preaching another gospel of social gospel of Christian Reformation.

America doesn’t need reformation. They don’t need more Christian politicians. They need regeneration. Why feed people? Why send toys for cats and send a bunch of people to hell when that money should go for the spreading of the gospel, brother? Well, thank you so much, Doug, and God bless you. Thank you. Thanks for calling in. Merry Christmas, and you know, it’s true. Somebody once said that I’ve never been able to get rid of it in my mind, that God didn’t leave us here on this planet to make this earth a better place to go to hell from.

You know, our major mission as Christians, the Great Commission, which I call the Forgotten Commission, is to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. And that is low on the totem pole. You’re absolutely right when you say most efforts go to lots of things, everything but getting the gospel to that child, that homeless person, that other person, and certainly as we give to meet their physical needs, we can bring them to the gospel of Jesus Christ and and reach them that they might not perish and go to hell, but have everlasting life.

And thank you Doug. We have Fred in Richmond, Virginia. Fred, welcome to the Bible on your on the air. Go ahead, you’re on the air. Hello. Yeah, Fred, you’re on the air. I’m still on the line. No, you’re on the air right now. You’re on the radio. Am I able to talk to Dr. Nistro? You’re talking to him right now. You’re on the air. said you’re on the air i’m talking to you right now hello Fred are you there yeah i’m here alright talk what is your question i want to talk to him well you’re talking to him i want to talk to doctor lintry alright i’ve somehow Fred doesn’t realize who he’s talking to and will hold up and try to get that squared away and i will come back in uh…

touch base with him again in a minute we have maddling in braid and florida Madeline welcome to my one hi doctor. It’s in Revelation about angel wings and It’s revelation eight and it says I be held and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven Does that mean angels do have wings or no not at all, but they they will they can fly But I don’t think they need wings to be able to do that You know, we’re gonna fly away at the Rapture and I don’t think it’s gonna mean we have to have wings grow out before the rapture happens.

We’re just going to go right up to meet the Lord. Oh, there’s it then. Yeah. You’re so welcome, Madeleine. And there are no verses in the Bible that talk about angels having wings. So that certainly is not true. This is Bible. I’m Dr. Here’s 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. Angels are always in the Bible appearing as men. They always are mistaken for as men. And there are no female angels. There are no baby angels, and angels don’t have wings. Most amazingly, there’s not a verse in the Bible that says angels sing.

And yet at Christmas that poses a problem. Most of all the hymns talk about choirs of angels, and there’s not a verse anywhere in Scripture that says an angel ever saying anything. So angels don’t sing. Every time you see angels, they speak or say, the multitude of angels when the shepherds were in the field watching their flock by night. It says they said, glory to God in the highest, peace on earth could wilt toward men. We have a Doug in Pensacola, Florida, and he leaves an off-air question.

He says, I believe you are taking Hebrews 1-5 out of context. If you leave begotten thee out, then you could explain it in the way you do. Or if you left it out, you couldn’t explain it in the way you do. Hebrews 1-5 is very clear that God never, ever called an angel his son. To which of the angels did God at any time say, that art, my son, is pretty clear. And so the sons of God in the Bible are clearly defined in other places as believers.

John 1 12 tells us to as many as received Christ to them God gave power to become the sons of God. In 1 John chapter 3 and verse 1 it says, Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God. But believers are called the sons of God because they’re born again into the family of God. And God becomes our father and we become his son or daughter. But angels never ever were in that category.

And if you read Hebrews, it’s very clear that we have been upon the new birth elevated above the angels. Angels are not sons of God, but yet we have the title sons of God and become higher than the angels in position once we trust Jesus Christ as our Savior. we’re going to try again to talk to Fred and Richmond, Virginia. Let’s see if we can do that. Fred, you are on the air. You’re on the air. Can I wait?

You’re on the air. Fred, you’re on the air. Fred, I’m not understanding what you’re saying. Talk up. What is your question? I want to ask him the question. Well, you’ve got him. I am him. I talked to him. I’ll ask him the question. Alright, well again, I don’t think he understands that I am him. And so I don’t know what to do there with Fred. Fred is, you’ve been on the air now twice, but Fred is not understanding what we’re saying here somehow.

Alright, we have Laurie in Tampa floor. She says, explain Genesis 6, 2 through 4 on the sons of God. Are these angels? Well, we just mentioned that with Doug. sons of God are believers. Believers were marrying the daughters of men. Now the daughters of men is a reference to the fact that they are unsaved women and they are not born again. But the believing men were choosing wives of those that were unbelievers and so the gospel got corrupted the whole world went down down hill, and only no one in his family were the only remaining family alive that were saved.

So the sons of God there are believers. Hebrews 1-5 again tells us that God never called an angel his son. So they’re not angels. They were believers marrying unbelievers. And the same thing is happening again today. Believers are marrying unbelievers, and when children come along, they just don’t even try to win them to Christ because it causes division in the family. And it’s so important that if you’re a believer, you marry another believer. That is scriptural. Claude in Brampton, Ontario calls in from Canada and Claude from Canada, welcome to of Babylon, he leaves an offer a question.

I heard you mention pork and other various foods that were deemed abominable. Can we eat these foods now? And the answer is yes. We’re not under the law. And if you read 1 Timothy chapter 4, it tells us that we can eat anything as long as we give thanks and partake of it. But again, there should be caution because Because the ones that God put on the forbidden list in the Old Testament, it was for a reason and it’s for health reasons.

Today our government regulates the raising of pork and so on, but obviously pork could cause serious problems. And there are those who have died from eating pork. If it wasn’t, you know, today they give the pork, the animals, antibiotics and so on so that they don’t pass on the problems of diseases to the human. These are all scavengers and they were forbidden. Today you can eat pork and if you obviously didn’t eat any pig at all, you wouldn’t be able to have bacon, you wouldn’t be able to have a ham sandwich.

Obviously a lot of people would just leave all that other diet. But certainly we can. First Timothy chapter 4. We have the phone lines are open right now for the moment. You want to call us, it’s 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. And we invite you to give us a call here on Bibleline. We have Robert in Pompano Beach and he asked a question about Luke chapter 10. And I think we answered this the other day. Luke chapter 10, let me turn over there and take a look.

Yes, we did. This is about the rich young ruler and we answered it, but basically this man was lost. And Christ was obviously attempting to lead him to himself. And the man was self-righteous and he says to Christ, what good thing must I do that I may inherit eternal life? He starts that question by saying, good master. Christ says, why do you call me good? There’s none good but one, and that is Jesus Christ. So, or God. Obviously Christ was pointing out to the man that he was a sinner, that he needed a Savior, and the man left sorrowful because he didn’t own up to the fact that he was in need of a Savior, year and obviously was eternally lost.

We have here a man named Scott calling in from near Orlando, Florida. He says, Divine Intervention of Hell, have you heard about this book? Someone claims that the book took him to hell and back so he could talk about it here on the earth. I haven’t heard about the book, but certainly that’s not true. Once you die, You can’t come back. So if you die, you can’t come back. And by the way, the title would even be wrong if somebody says in the book that they’ve gone to hell and come back.

Nobody’s in hell right now. A hell is empty. Hell according to Matthew 2541 was created for Satan and his angels. Then no one is going to go into hell until Satan and his angels are first in. After the thousand year earthly reign of Christ, we find that then Satan will be cast into hell, Revelation chapter 20 verse 10. Then Satan’s angels. Then all the lost of mankind will be brought up out of Hades and they will be cast into the everlasting lake of fire.

So for somebody to say they’ve been to hell and then come back, they don’t know their Bible and they obviously are manufacturing the story. There is nobody in hell yet. Nobody has been to hell yet, believe it or not. Satan and his angels get to be first and then the people of the human race that have denied or rejected Christ will wind up in hell. We’re going to go to Betty and she is in Beverly Hills, Florida. And Betty, welcome to my mind.

You are on the air. Good morning, brother, Lenstra. Good morning. Happy Hanukkah and American Christmas to you. All right. Thank you. You know, we all are touching on the secular society that we live on. I live in, rather. We’re in the world, but we’re not supposed to be out the world. And my husband and I attended a Christmas party the other night that our church was holding. And I was really very, very upset because they recited a large poem about how children should be taught about Santa and why.

And he pulled things, different articles off the Christmas tree that was decorated so gayly and tried to illustrate why children should be taught about Santa. And Bob and I don’t do Christmas. Well, somehow we just lost that call and let’s see what happened here, Betty. I mean, I’m sure yourself and the other believers, brother, have thought about the fact that, you know, the song he sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake. I mean, those are attributes of the living God, that he’s only what?

only present on nipitan and he knows all and he’s everywhere at the same time and they give him his attributes through Santa Claus. Well you’re absolutely right he’s taking the place of God and he’s replaced Jesus Christ as well if you take the word Santa and slide the letter in to the end you have Satan I really believe there’s a connection there and I know for myself it was devastating for me because as a little boy I discovered on my own that Santa Claus was not real and my mom and my dad my aunt who is also my son’s school teacher as a little boy all among others taught me about Santa Claus and I was really hurt and disappointed when I said that this is a grown-up you know masquerade in game that they’re playing and I remember saying to myself since they also took me to

church that that was another masquerade and I said they weren’t going to catch me on this one and I became resolute that I wasn’t going to be easily deceived and I was maybe that was a good thing but I was very, very cautious and I rejected I had been misled about Santa Claus. I think if people do the Santa Claus thing, you ought to be honest and say Santa Claus is make believe that Jesus is real. Yes, because I know a lot of believers call me Scrooge and claim that I say bah-humbah.

But anyway, I agree with you Brother Lindstrom. The other thing I just want to briefly touch on, and that is when you were speaking about the food today and how the cattle and so forth are fed antibiotics, I myself, who happened to have had a systemic yeast infection and was on record the only one that ever survived it by God’s grace and intravenous infusions. I want people to realize that ingesting a lot of antibiotics can certainly throw off systems and what happened to me was it suppressed my immune system so it’s just food for thought pardon the pun.

All right thank you so very much that was Betty in Beverly Hills Florida. We have James in Memphis Tennessee and James welcome to Bible and from Memphis. Yes I was just wondering I’ve heard this different people say different things about whether or not the consumption of alcohol in being found is a loud or nice. What’s your take on that? Well, the Bible says in Ephesians 5, 18, be not drunk with wine. So there really isn’t a provision of drinking any wine, Christ-drink wine,453, the disciples’ drink wine.

And of course it was a very varied wine that they had. And basically it was a way of preventing dysentery and other things that came from the water in those days. We didn’t have the water purification systems and so on. And they didn’t drink to get drunk necessarily, although we do read about people getting drunk. The Bible forbids drunkenness, but not the drinking of wine. Now I don’t drink anything because I don’t want people to think because in America, if you drink anything that’s alcoholic, people assume you get drunk.

And so I don’t, and I haven’t. I think I took one taste of a pornographic beer when I was a high school senior, and it didn’t taste good to me, and I spit it out and I never drank anymore. So I haven’t had a beer since I once swallowed, but I had this high school senior. But I don’t drink it, I don’t smoke, and I try to not do any of those things. Well, yeah, we’ll do. But it’s nothing.

Fine. Right, but the Bible, right. But that was a very mild wine, And what is forbidden is drunkenness. So the Bible says that Ephesians 5, 18, be not drunk with wine. So I believe you can. I’m not gonna do it myself, but I believe you can, but I would not get drunk because that’s where you cross the line. Well, that’s no difference than gluttony or any other thing else. Okay. So thank you, James. And the answer is the Bible does not forbid the drinking of wine, but it does forbid drunkenness.

And certainly our bodies are God’s temple and we ought to respect that. And that means we’re not to obviously use drugs or anything else that’s harmful to this body which is God’s temple. Thank you, James. It’s wonderful to hear from people from Memphis, Tennessee and Canada today and lots of different places all around America. And we appreciate all of you are listeners. Merry Christmas to all of you. We hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday. It’s a great time to evangelize.

This is a time to tell people about Jesus. And I know I celebrated Christmas for 18 years before I ever… Before I ever discovered the real meaning of Christmas, we have Tanya in Lakeland, Florida. Tanya, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hello, yes sir. I have a question and I really want to find out fordozen guys that I wrote with last week and it just stirred. He told me that that he did the ultimate stand. I’m going to help him save so more than.

I’m going to get into the state and this guy, he told me he said he don’t feel as though he can go to heaven because he did the ultimate stand and I asked him what was that? I asked you and he said that he cursed God and he don’t think he’ll go to heaven and I didn’t have an answer for him. Okay. And I want to answer for him because I told him I would get back with him. Let me give you a quick answer because we’re out of time here.

But John 3 36. The Bible tells us there’s one unpardonable sin and the difference between heaven and hell is belief or unbelief. It says, he the believer on the sun has everlasting life, but he the believer not the sun shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3.36, if you trust Christ, you go to heaven. If you don’t trust Christ, you go to hell. It’s that simple. Cursing God is not the unpardonable sin. It’s to reject Christ who died to pay for every imaginable sin.
