Lynchham’s teaching for today. And God said in Ezekiel that he put hooks in the jaws of the nations to bring them back into the Middle East. And if you’ve traveled over there, you look at the land and you say, thank God for America. America the Beautiful. You see our land and the green and the plains and the fruitfulness of this country. And you go to the Middle East and it’s mostly just sand. I was on a flight from Athens to Cairo.

I like to get up in that cockpit all the time. I said, can I get up in the cockpit? And the navigator had come out for a break. And he said, yeah, you can go up there. He says, let me take you up there. And he put me in his seat. And so here we are, the Pilate Co-Pilot and the Navigator. I’m in the Navigator’s seat. And we’re halfway across the Mediterranean head of Verkairo. He never came back. I don’t know what happened to him, but I didn’t leave.

But I sat in the cockpit as we flew in over Egypt. And what was so interesting, and talking to the Pilates by the way about the Lord I gave in the heaven quiz, and they liked practicing their English with me. We were talking about Jesus and everything else to Arab Muslim pilots. And it was really good time because they were quite open and it was kind of like a private discussion, the three of us. And here I just see this green ribbon.

And as I came to realize what I was looking at, that’s the Nile River. 96% of Egypt is sand. Only 4% is green. And it’s just that little strip that is on either side of the Nile River. Wow. And I was in the cockpit when we landed in Cairo. And I was there when they shut the engines down and they came up and chalked the wheels underneath the plane and I stepped out and I got to see the landing him be a part of it really.

I’m glad they pilot knew where he was going, the navigator. He finally came out later and said, I hope you enjoyed yourself. And he never, I guess he’s not necessary in other foreign countries. I guess he don’t have the rules that we do. I guess if one of our American airlines, he’d have been fired if he wasn’t up there at the time of the landing. But I was there in the navigator seat as we landed on the Egyptian airline in Cairo.

But you know, I saw what’s true throughout the whole Middle East is just a lot of sand, just a lot of arid land, just nothing growing. And yet what is the attraction? Why is the world? Why is China? Why is Russia? Why is the West? Why is everybody so interested in the Middle East? It’s because of the time in which we’re living now. You know, you drop back a little bit and you forget, but we were in World War II in the Far East.

And then more recently we moved over into the Near East where we were in Korea and then over into Cambodia and Thailand and Vietnam. And then that war was fought in more like tropical jungles and they had the green tropical jungle camouflage on everything and on the men’s uniforms. And then what has happened here as of late? We’ve moved to the Middle East and noticed the uniforms of our soldiers, the light desert sand type camouflage and that’s true on our tanks and on our hummers and on all of our military planes and everything else.

Obviously, the nextventus big battles are going to be fought in the Middle East. And we’ve seen this shift have it wait and this is what’s going to happen in the last days and then we’ve seen our armies go in and take over Afghanistan and now take over Iraq. And there are more countries to come. Let me tell you, and the Bible predicts all that. We’re going to see it right in the book of Daniel and it’s like having this in front of you as you watch the TV said, wow, it’s happening.

You know, on the TV as we have read about it here, first in the book of Daniel, and you can know how it’s all going to play out and you can just about predict what’s going happen next as you watch the evening news catch up with the Bible. We’re really watching the last of this prophecy in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar come to pass as the image is about ready to be pushed up with its feet fully standing where it began in Iraq and the Antichrist controlling and then Jesus will come back at the Battle of Armageddon and crush the toes of the image.

And what happens? What it says here in verse 35 is that all of this image crumbles together at one time. What does that tell us? It actually becomes a complete man. The image is of a man which is representative of all these world powers that successively kind of hook up to one another and become one big Western world power controlled by the furthest extension of it and then the feeder taken and the whole image is set up back where it began on this base in Iraq and I don’t think we have much time left And I think if you look at the signs that are happening out there God is giving people a wake-up call That tsunami what is the death toll now over how much?

280,000 people. Wow. And it started off with just the first reports of few thousand. But these countries that have been worse hurt are all people that are in bondage to false religious systems. Have you noticed? The majority are of the Islamic faith. And then we have Buddhists and Hindus and other faiths and they need something to shake them loose to cause them to look for the true and living God. And I believe that God is beginning to shake the world to get their attention because he wants them to come to know him.

And this has caused people everywhere to start thinking, hasn’t it? Because I know you have talked to people, I have talked to people that are asking questions they didn’t ask before that tsunami and that earthquake. They’re asking why, who, what happened, what do you think? Is God involved? And would it happen here in America? Could that happen to Florida? Could it happen to the Eastern Sea Board or the United States or the Western Coast or the United States? And the answer to all those questions is of course it could.

There’s nothing that says it could not happen. And now they’re trying to set up warning systems and prepare people for some kind of notice for these kind of things. But that’s just a part of the overall wake-up that God has given this world. And I believe these are times for us to witness because what does God want to do? He matches people up that are seeking with people that are willing to tell. I really believe that. And I’ve seen that in my whole Christian life that I have had, I’ve seen God put me in touch with people that God wants to have you meet contact with.

And you don’t have to go very far to talk to somebody here in Tampa from a foreign country. I was talking to a young lady just this past week and she’s from Egypt. And I was talking to her about Christ. I noticed that she was wearing a little cross and I said, does that mean that you’re a Christian? She said, yes, I am. I said, where were you raised in Cairo? I said, why are you here? Because she said Christians are persecuted and killed in Egypt.

I said, do you read the Bible in English her Arabic. She says, Arabic, I have my Arabic Bible in my purse right over there. And we can talk about the Lord. And she said, there’s a significant number of Egyptians right here because they have left as Christians because of the persecution upon Christians in some of those areas. And it’s true. And I said, I want you to do me a favor. I want you to look up this verse in your Bible and I wrote out real big, 1 John 5, 13.

I saw her today and I said, did you read that verse? She smiled big and she said, yeah, I did. I said, what did it say? She said, I could know a heavy eternal life. And if she didn’t have assurance, at least she smiled at that. I said, you know, so many people say, I think, I hope, I guess, I’m working at it, I’d like to go to heaven. And I said, that’s the verse that tells you that you can know you have eternal life.

And so anyway, I talk to people of all different cultures, and I find that right here in Tampa, I can influence people here that have friends and loved ones and connections back in another country, in another part of the world, and can bring that great message back to their people. And amazing. We’re getting hits on our website from Peru, and we have some people from Peru in our church. I think the people here are telling the people down in Peru to look at our website.

And we have many different backgrounds that attend Calvary here, and God has attracted to us. And I think part of it is that he wants us to send that message back in a clear form to those people in those foreign countries. And we’ve seen that happen so many times here with people who get saved. We have a young man that frequents our website from Norway and his relative comes here and has gotten saved in our church. And she’s trying to get all the relatives to look at the website and to see the gospel and get saved in Norway.

And I’m seeing this happen in different countries where people have friends or loved ones and they’re trying to bring the gospel back to them. These are the last days of opportunity to do that. One day the rapture is going to happen and maybe it will be sooner than you and I have thought and then we will say to ourselves, I am sure. Thank you for joining us. We hope that you are enjoying today’s teaching on the Book of Daniel.

Well, we’re going to go now to Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida and Matthew, welcome to Bibleline.

You’re on the air. Good morning, pastor. I have a question about John’s baptism. Okay. When the Bible mentions the Palos, you know, it says that he was an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures and he was contending with the Jews about Jesus being the Messiah. So he obviously knew that who Jesus was. And but he was a He had not experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit because he didn’t know about it. And also the disciples that Paul came across, they knew about John’s baptism, but they had not received the Holy Spirit.

So I was just wondering what the difference between the baptism of repentance and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is. Okay. Well, what happened is that John preached Christ and he baptized them with a baptism that was saying that they would change their mind and believe on Christ as Savior when He came. But apparently many of those disciples didn’t do that. In Acts 19 and verse 4, you have the clearest presentation where Paul explains what John had done. It says Paul said, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people.

So this is what John said, that they should believe on Him which should come after Him, is on Christ Jesus. And then upon explaining that, these people that Paul met here along the coast of Ephesus trusted the Lord and they did receive the Holy Spirit at that point. And also with the Paulus, he was able to instruct him in the way of the Lord, even though he had only been baptized with John the Baptist and apparently didn’t get the full picture.

He certainly became a dynamic teacher and preacher after he had that explanation and he came to realize that if he trusted Christ he’d be saved. So basically John the Baptist had a clear message but not everybody got it right as that is oftentimes true. It’s hard to communicate sometimes when people have preconceived ideas or other things going on in their head and they miss the message. But actually John 3.36 is one of the clearest verses in the Bible. And it’s a direct quote from John the Baptist that John the Baptist said, he that believes on the son has eternal life, but he that believes not the son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

So John made it clear that there are two groups, those that believe and those that believe not. And the difference whether you go to heaven or hell is whether or not you believe on Christ or trust Christ as your Savior in order to be saved. So I believe that that is the case there. We’re going to go now to Roland and Roland is in Tampa, Florida. Roland, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. Annette. How are you?

Good. Great. I have a question I need you to clarify for me in regards to salvation. I was reading a couple of verses, NIV version of the Bible, Matthew 24 verse 10. It says, at that time the faith. But then when you look at the King’s James version, it doesn’t say turn it in, it shall be offended. And then also the other scripture is Luke 962. The no man haven’t put his hand to the plow and looking back, it’s the fifth of the Kingdom of God.

I wanted to find out whether those are. Okay. I needed one to talk about losing your salvation, which is impossible. The one in Luke is talking about somebody who’s going to plow the field has to be looking straight ahead. If you are driving your car down the road and you look off to the side or you turn your head looking back, you’ll maybe crash your car. So can you imagine as a farmer you want a real straight furrow so you can get the maximum out of the earth there by having furrows that run right alongside of one another and they’re in a straight line.

But the guy who is looking back over his shoulder is probably going to wiggle all over the place and not do a very good job. And so he’s not fit for the job of being a farmer or one to plow the field. And the same thing is true, if you keep looking back as a Christian and you’re not looking ahead at what you’re doing and where you’re going and what God wants you to do, you’ll probably drive off into the ditch and you’re not fit to be a good servant of Christ.

So it’s not talking about losing your salvation, but not being an effective servant for Christ. So if you’re going to be a servant of Christ, you need to be fixed on the goal of living for Christ and you need to have your eyes on the finish line which is where Christ is. He was cheering us on, waiting for us to come to meet him. And we find in Matthew 24 talking about Christians who would be offended. And apparently, maybe close their mouths or kind of hide in the closet or something or become a non-effective Christian.

So I was talking about believers that just aren’t going to be effective in losing their lives for the Lord. And as a believer, we’ll lose out on reward, but never lose out on our salvation. Our salvation is eternal and can never be lost. Roland. Good year. Good year. That’s clear. Thank you so much. All right. Thank you, Roland. And now we’re going to go to Jerry in plant city and Jerry, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Oh, yes, sir, Dr.

Hall. Oh, when Moses went out, See God and asking we shall have say sit sent me and God said tell him that I am that I am from that moment on Since God is God the father the son the Holy Spirit as if any time their names power authority or dominion And I’ll hang up and listen to your answer. No ahead never God is always He is presented as eternal, and whenever he intercepts time, he intercepts it in the present tense.

So God never says I was or I shall be. He said, I am. It’s kind of interesting because God apparently operates in more than the four dimensions that you and I are operating in. We know that we are bound by time and space, but God operates outside of time and space. So He can intercept time at any time that He wants, and whenever He does intercept time, He intercepts it in the present tense. So He’s not a, I was God or a will be God, but I am God.

And let me just give you an illustration. It’s very difficult to explain dimensions upward, but we can just explain them downward. Let’s just say that we only have two dimensions to deal with and that you are a two-minute dimensional figure and we’ll call you Mr. Flat. If I operated in three dimensions, I could come and approach you and you would never know that I was there. And if I touched you, you would know you were touched, but you would know by whom you were touched because you’re operating in only two dimensions and I’m outside of the two.

And from the third dimension, I could touch you at your toe or touch you on your ear and tickle you. And you’d know you’d been touched, but you wouldn’t know by whom. And I could intercept you at any time that I wanted to. Well, if you just go outward a little bit and imagine that God operates outside of time, He can intercept time at any time he wants to and intercept you and be aware of gunned on in your life.

And yet you would not necessarily be aware of him because he can intercept you. And when he does intercept, he would come to you in the present tense because it would be at the present tense for you asSanders steps in from outside of time to intercept time at the time when you are actually living. artney. I don’t know if that makes any sense because it’s difficult for people to conceptualize that, but that’s where God is. He can always intercept us in real time, but he intercepts us in the present tense whenever he does.

We’re going to get into the Bible for a few minutes. It was just a very interesting day. I was looking on the Internet yesterday and I pulled up 10 websites that all talk about U.S. may invade Iran and it might happen in the next couple of weeks. That is very interesting, especially in a lot of Bible prophecy. As we know that the nations of the world will focus on the Middle East and, obviously, Jerusalem will become the ultimate focal point as we head toward the second coming of Christ.

But before that, of course, we have the Rapture. And the Rapture, of course, is the event when all believers are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. That could happen at any time, but we believe that whatever year it happens, it will happen on the Feast of Trumpets. This year, the Feast of Trumpets will be on the very end of September. And so if the Lord comes this year, that’s about how much time you have left. Isn’t that something to think about?

Whenever the Lord comes, we’ll be snatched out, meet the Lord in the air, and whatever we’re going to do for Christ, we need to do before the rapture. And it becomes this year, and I don’t know what year he’s coming, but it would be on the Feast of Trumpets, which is Rosh Hashanah. And so that’s how many months you have left until the Lord comes, if he comes this year. I didn’t say that he would. And we know that because of the feast days that God gave to Israel.

You know, seven feast days pictured the two comings of Christ and Jesus died as the Passover Lamb on the Passover was buried during the Feast of First Fruits. Rather, Unleavened Bread was raised from the dead on the Feast of First Fruits and Pentecost, which began this age, happened on Pentecost the feast day, which was the fourth feast, exactly on the day. And of course, the next feast which concludes this age will be the Feast of Trumpets, and that happens in the fall and this year occurs in September.

Hopefully you’re ready. If you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior, then you are indeed ready and all believers are going to go up to meet the Lord in the air. Let me quote that passage for you. It says in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 that we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. That’s 1 Thessalonians 4 17.

Some people say, well the word rapture doesn’t occur in your Bible, that’s correct in the English, it doesn’t occur, but the Greek word, it’s translated caught up and guess what? The word rapture means caught up, so you could put that word right in the text if you wanted to. I prefer it to be as it is because a lot of people don’t know what the word rapture means, but everybody does know what it means to be caught up. It says, we which are alive and remain shall be caught up.

The word rapture means caught up. So put it in there if you want. We’ll be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. What an exciting event that’s going to be there is going to be a large group of people that will be exempted from death that will never die. They’ll be caught up while they’re alive in their bodies and be transformed into their new bodies on the way up.

We could be all of us in that group if you are a believer. If you are an unbeliever, you will be left behind for the darkest hours that will ever occur on the earth. It says in chapter 5 that when this event takes place, that sudden destruction will come upon the world as prevailed upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape. If you notice verse 4, it says, but you brethren are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

In other words, we really shouldn’t even be caught by surprise. We should be watching and looking for the return of Christ, and we’re children of the day and of the light. And it says here that we are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you. That is the believers as a thief in the night. You are all children of the light, children of the day. We are none of the night, nor of darkness. So we should be obviously when the Lord comes, say, wow, we’ve been waiting for this day.

We’ve been looking for you, Lord. We’ve been expecting that you would come and catch us out and we expect that we’ll now be with you forever and ever and ever and ever. Well I hope you’re a believer because if you are, then you’ll be in this event. Verse 14 says, if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. In other words, the key to being in this event is trusting Christ.

If you believe that it is if you trust that Christ died and rose again, that’s the gospel message, then it says those which have already died in Christ will God bring with him so the dead that have died in Christ are already with the Lord absent from the body, present with the Lord, and they will be coming back with Jesus. We’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break into the second half hour by one, So keep you ready to tune right where it is.

Now please join us as we return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll return for more Bible teaching from Dr. Lindstrom. We have Ida in St. Petersburg on the line. Ida, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hello Pastor.

This is Ida. Yes. question is what are the years of man, three scoring ten or as my son-in-law says he read somewhere hundred twenty years? Well back before the flood they did live longer lives and even the hundred and twenty is not the length of life but it was the amount of time it took to build the ark. And so a while no built the ark it took a hundred and twenty years that was the time period that they had to get saved or they would be drowned in the flood.

Obviously, the tragedy is that no one, no one in that 120 years got saved only no one in his family were saved and those after 120 years entered into that arc and they were spared the flood and destruction by being in the arc. But the length of life of man is in Psalm 90 and there it says three score and ten. We don’t use the word score too often anymore but it means 20. So three dumps 20 is 60 plus 10 more 70 years is the length of life that God has given to us Yes, and it adds something else and not sometimes he adds 10 years or more Yeah, you can live longer than in fact.

We have people today that are living I have an aunt my dad’s sister is 104 and still of clear mind and can walk around and She’s amazing and my dad. I lost him at 92 years of age which might have an ant that’s still cranking in 104. So you should expect a long life. Well, that’d be great. We’ll see what happens. Oh, OK. Thank you very much. Well, Ida, thank you for calling in from St. Petersburg. We have Bill in Clearwater and Bill welcomed the Bible and you’re on the air.

What I want to ask you is I have a friend that belongs to, they believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all Jesus. I don’t know if you’re familiar, you’re probably familiar with it. Yeah, and that doctrine is totally wrong. And obviously there are three separate eternal persons, and that’s made clear. So many places in Hebrews, it talks about the eternal spirit. And we know that Jesus is the eternal Son, John’s Gospel, chapter 1, and of course the whole Gospel of John really makes this clear.

And of course we know that there is God the eternal Father. So they are three and throughout the Bible that’s taught even in the Hebrew in the Old Testament the word illohim, E-L-O-H-I-M, the word that is translated God over 2500 times, probably only 3000 times, is a plural word in Hebrew that means three or more in Hebrew, which obviously encompasses the three of the Godhead, the three eternal persons that make up the One God. And we find that there’s all kinds of verses where you have the separation of them.

You have the Holy Spirit in verse 2 of Genesis 1 and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters in Genesis 1 26. God Elohim, a plurality, says let us create man in our image after our likeness. So obviously they’re wrong. You think that these people are on aim? Generally they are. They also believe you can lose your salvation. If you ask that question, you got it. Because they’ll say, oh yeah, definitely. And that means that they’re obviously saying that from the point where you are right now to the point when they die, what they do.

Well, determine whether they make it or not. That makes them the Savior, not Christ. And so they’re really trusting in how they will carry out their life until they die. And that’s what will determine their salvation. That works no matter how you look at it. And that means they’re trusting in their works and they’re not saved. Aren’t there some mainline Christians? Do they call it Armenianism? Or do they believe that you can lose your salvation? Absolutely. There’s a whole large group of people that follow the teachings of James Arminius and believe that you can walk away or reject your salvation or lose it by how you live your life and there are many denominations that won’t start naming them but there’s a lot of them that believe that and I believe they’re not saved.

All right thanks again Dr. Lister. Okay Bill thank you for calling in and definitely that is a significant doctrine that as we mentioned today in 2 Corinthians 519 that we are to say when we give the gospel that God was in Christ, that He is God. And we have three eternal members of the Godhead clearly taught in Scripture. Jesus said the Father hath sent Him and that He would send the Holy Spirit. And they are not the same and yet they are the one and same God.

So I don’t think we’ll ever fully comprehend that until we’re in heaven but the Bible does teach that. We have Christy and say Petersburg calls in, says the Bible says those who call of the name of the Lord will be saved. Can it be that simple? And of course the answer is that is that simple. in Corinthians 11-3 says that Satan would use the fact that the message of the gospel is simple to cause people to stumble over it and not, trust the Lord as their Savior.

In any case, when it says to call upon the name of the Lord, his name is Jesus, and the name Jesus literally means God who would save you. And of course, the gospel message that we’re to believe is that Jesus is God who came and gave his life for our sins on the cross by his death and shed blood was buried in rose again from the dead when you call upon that Jesus that the Bible describes as the Savior who died for you shed his blood paid your sin dead and fold the cross with buried rose again from the dead God will save you so Here christy says some people say Jesus help me does that count Well, that’s not how you’re saved.

You have to say, Jesus saved me. Not help me. And you have to actually trust Him as the means of your entrance into heaven, trusting Christ as your Savior to deliver you from hell to take you to heaven. When you do that, you become saved. I’m not sure if I’m reading this last part right, but this is what if someone asked Jesus into their liver? Apparently, That’s what the question is. Well, into their liver, their heart, or their pancreas, or whatever it wouldn’t, that’s not the gospel.

You have to trust that Christ died, Christi, to be saved. And that is, of course, the correct answer. Thank you for that all fear question. We now have Charlie in Miami, Florida, and Charlie, welcome to Bible End. Yes, it is, huh? Pastor, yes. There’s a couple of times that I’ve heard you saying It’s a good thing that Christ does accept us the way we are. But what confuses me sometimes, it sounds like change in life, the way you come out, because I believe that once Christ does, it gives us the grace of saving grace, that there is no change in life, and it sounds a more like easy believeism.

Because what I see, yes, if we were liars, murderers, is this, you know, and everything else that there is under the name of sin, that it almost makes it sound like we don’t have to change because we’re already saved. And you know, and correct me if I’m not thinking of believes in Galatians 5, that the fruit of the Spirit shows these different things, but prior to that it says those who practice will not inherit the kingdom of God. And I hope that’s not what you’re saying that, you know, just believe in continuing your life the way you are.

None at all. In fact, when you do trust the Lord, it’s amazing how people become grateful when they fully understand this, where they decide that they, I want to live for Christ because of what He’s done for me. And I have seen the opposite of what people fear, and that’s what I think you’re bringing up here, is that you just would go out and live with your place. I have a… He’s a great preacher and missionaries and Bible teachers on five continents that are serving the Lord that I’ve led to Christ.

And they’re out there because they know they don’t have to change anything to be saved. But they simply are grateful that God would save them as they are as we are all sinners deserving of going to hell. So much that they want to live their life for Christ now. And they’re in the jungles of South American other countries. One is the president of a Bible college over in Holland, and they’re all over the place, all over Europe and in Asia and in the Pacific.

I’m excited about what God has done by just motivating people through the wonderful grace by which He has saved us. Obviously, I chose the servant Lord many years ago, and I have done it not because I had to my life. And the wonderful revelation was that he saved me based upon what he did for me, not what I do for him. But my rewards now are based on my service to him. And we talk about that all the time here on the program, that if you don’t live for Christ, then when you’ll enter heaven, you’ll suffer loss of reward for eternity.

And obviously you’ll be embarrassed and you’ll be experienced regret and even tears. And obviously you You don’t want to have that happen. You’d rather have the Lord say, well done, a good and faithful servant and have His blessing and honor and reward that will come upon the faithful believer. But you’re not saying that, continue your sinning ways, though. I hope not. Not at all. If you do, you’ll be spanked. And if you continue your sinful ways, God might take you to having home to heaven in a heartbeat.

I’ve buried a lot of Christians that I think were taken home to heaven early because of sin in their life. And so you don’t want to that god will just take yaky right out of here or that’s true because i was want to see and for a year i appreciate you clearing that up because i’ve got the sound it like you know just too much easy believe that but i appreciate that that you clarified that well good thank you for listening under my mind calling in charlie thank you sir alright charlie down in my emmy florida and uh…

it’s interesting that uh… uh… the opposite happens as what people might think This wonderful message ofbart’s and of salvation is one that really, I think, brings about a grateful heart to those who really understand it and they want to serve the Lord. But even if you didn’t, you would be chasing the Lord. Hebrews, chapter 12 says all believers are spanked if they’re delinquent and you would suffer the loss of a reward in eternity in heaven, which obviously is a believer you don’t want to experience either.

Hank Lindstrom. One day the rapture is going to happen and maybe it will be sooner than you and I had thought and then we’ll say to ourselves, I’m sure. Wow. I didn’t know that I was going to be here this soon. I wish I had and we’ll have a lot of, I think, regret that we didn’t do more. We didn’t reach out further. We didn’t risk more to get this message out because I wouldn’t doubt that the Lord would come this year.

I don’t have a time schedule. If there’s anybody I would share it with, this is my dad, we talk every day. He’s almost 92 and He says, every time we talk, somewhere in the conversation, tell me, when do you think Jesus will be back at the rapture? He says, I’m ready to go. And I said, Dad, I can’t sit a date, but I can just tell you that I don’t believe we have much more time on this planet. I think you’ll probably be going up at the same day I go up.

I think you’ll be alive to meet the Lord in the air. We’re running out of time. And I think that we need to recognize that because really look at what’s happening. So many things happening and we’ll see them as we go through the book of Daniel and especially the political realm. How could you ever imagine that this would happen in the way the Bible said as he in advance names five major rule powers? The Babylonian Empire, the Medo-Persian Empire, the Grecian Empire, the Roman Empire, the inform of a revival of the Roman Empire and then it’s takeover by the furthest extension of that, which is us, the United States of America, and how then this whole system would go back to put its focus where it all began in the Middle East, which no logical reason to do that except the oil is there.

And that means control of planet Earth, and that’s what the Antichrist wants to do, and he’s going to try to control the entire Middle East, and we can see it happening rather rapidly. So we’re going to end this class here, but we’re going to move forward and we’re going to see a lot of exciting things in the book of Daniel. And I hope you are here for each of those sessions. Good to have you here tonight. We’re in Daniel.

And we were talking last week about the image that Daniel saw. And the image began with a head of gold and shoulders of silver and arms of silver. The belly was of brass, the hips and thighs and legs were of iron, and then the feet and the toes were partly iron and partly clay. And the image was a picture of the world ruling powers beginning with Nebuchadnezzar’s empire, the Babylonian Empire, which of course Babylon is in Iraq. And that is, of course, where we now see ourselves back.

And look at the news every day about Iraq. Iraq, Iraq, Iraq, we’re back to Iraq. Well, this image is speaking about the Babylonian Empire that then was defeated by the Medo-Persian Empire and then by the Grecian Empire and then by the Roman Empire. And each of these controlled the territory of the previous one and incorporated all the the ingredients of the previous powers, and then the final extension will be what was Rome, ten nations out of Europe coming together, which we believe is probably being fulfilled now in the European common market, and endorsation that would spring forth out of the ten, which we believe is the United States of America.

One of the images complete, the picture is that the image then would be stood up back on its base where it began. And that means that the Western nations under the control of the United States will firmly plant their feet in Iraq and wind up controlling the Middle East. And doesn’t that give you chill bumps because we are there at that time in history when we’re seeing this image now over 2,500 years develop as each of these world powers come and go.

But yet they encompass all of that which was before. And now as we go back and take over what used to be ancient Babylon, we’re now planting our feet back in Iraq and the images to be stood up. When it stands up upon its base, as the Bible says, then Christ will come back and crush the feet and the ten toes and the whole image will come tumbling down, and then that stone which is Christ that crushes the feet and defeats the armies at Armageddon will then become a kingdom that will never be overthrown, and that is the kingdom of Christ when he shall reign forever and ever and ever as he sets of his kingdom, and it probably is in the very, very near future.

We believe that we’re about there, and we’re watching prophecy unfold before our very What’s happening in Iraq is very significant, and what’s happening in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, all of these countries is very significant, and we’re living in the last days. We’re going to see a lot more focus over in that area, and that’s very biblical, and we’re pretty close to the Lord’s return. Now the Antichrist is going to really wind up controlling even Israel and all of the countries that used to be controlled that were a part of a Syria.

And that would mean Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Egypt. And then he’s going to plan his palace in Jerusalem. And the Antichrist is going to rule the Western world from Jerusalem. And it’s interesting how that that is kind of the move to the Middle East. And we’ll be trying to diagram that and show that to you perhaps in a coming week. But Daniel chapter 2 covered that dream of Nebuchadnezzar. Verse 44 says in chapter 2, In the days of these kings which are represented by the ten toes of the image, Shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed?

And the kingdom shall not be left to other people. In other words, it will never be passed on to another power, but Jesus will rule forever and ever and ever once this kingdom is established. It will be a thousand years on this earth and there will be a last attempt by Satan to overthrow Christ. Christ will quickly handle the problem. Throw Satan into the lake of fire. He’ll create a new heavens and new earth and then his kingdom will continue on forever and ever and ever.

says, Notice, it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand. Verse 44 says for how long? Forever. Verse 45, for as much as thou sawest the stone that was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it break in pieces, the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, the gold. Notice, it breaks in pieces all of the Western powers that have come to grow into a larger world power as the ten toes and the eleventh nation that controls them will encompass all that previous territory.

So notice all the parts of the image, including the gold, the silver, the brass, all of it comes crashing down at one time when this conglomerate of all the previous world powers come together into the control of the Antichrist which will be the head of this country. And it says here that the great God hath made known to the king which will come to pass this word here after. And the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof is sure.

And so here God lets us in on what His plan is. And we’ll get greater detail as we go through the book of Daniel and see later chapters which give us more insights and more perspective on what we’re seeing. Then of course the kingdom can as well as fell upon his face, he worshiped Daniel and commanded that they should offer a sacrifice, a oblation, and sweet odors unto him. And the king answered unto Daniel and said of a truth, it is that your God is the God of God and a Lord of kings and a revealer of secrets, seeing that thou couldst reveal this secret.

Then the king made Daniel a great man, gave him many great gifts and made him ruler over the whole providence of Babylon, and chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon. So here God promoted Daniel. If you were here in the first week, we talked about how God wanted to show himself strong. And on behalf of those who would be sincere toward God, that his eyes, Rome, II, and fro throughout the earth, to find people that really want to mean business for God.

And so we find that Daniel in chapter 1, verse 8, purposes in his heart, he’s not going to file himself. He’s going to be true to the living God. And so God raises him up from almost being killed when the king decided to kill all the wise men of Babylon to now being raised up to be one of the chief rulers in the whole kingdom. And then Daniel requested of the king and he said, said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abedne to go over the affairs of the province of Babylon, but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

So notice his three friends also were raised up. We’d like to continue with Dr. Lindstrom’s teaching, but we are almost out of time for today. The dead that have died in Christ are already with the Lord, absent from the body, present with the Lord, and they will be coming back with Jesus. And they will be given their new bodies a split second before we’re given ours, and then we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. And of course verse 18 gives us one of the great reasons why God gives prophecy.

It says, Wherefore Comfort One Another These are comforting words, aren’t they? To know that we’re going to go to be with the Lord and nothing’s going to undo that or stop that. If you’ve trusted Christ, you’re saved forever. You’ll never cast you out. You’ll never lose you. You are saved forever and ever and ever. We’ve got a wonderful series on the class. Jesus is coming. Are you excited? I think this is going to keep you on the edge of your seat or up on your feet or on your tippy toes as we watch how the Bible unfolds the future.

And what we’re seeing in our headlines today is reflected in the Bible thousands of years ago. We hope you’ll take advantage of this wonderful 10-hour series of teachings on Jesus is coming. And we certainly believe He is. And the time is getting short. I think Christ will be back very, very soon. We have about 40 different series that I’ve taught that are available on CD. One series, Exciting is the Holy Spirit, 12 Hours of Teaching. is Revelation 12 Hours of Teaching.

Another is the Spirit World, 12 Hours of Teaching. And of course on many books of the Bible we have 10 hours or 12 hours of teaching including some of our best here as of later is the Book of Jude, incredible book that bridges the 65 books or 64 books prior to it and then links it to the 66th book, The Book of Revelation. a wonderful book just jammed with information and we did a wonderful series on that. We have the book of Romans.

Romans, what an incredible book that is. This is the book that really sparked the Reformation. You know, Martin Luther, the Reformer, was a Roman Catholic priest. He was asked to teach the book of Romans at the University of Wittenberg in Germany. And, you know, after you get assigned a course to teach, you have to study it. And he’s studying the book of Romans and guess what? He gets to verse 16 and he gets saved. That’s right. Romans 1 16 says, I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it.

The gospel is the power of God and the salvation to everyone that believeth. Well, Martin Luther saw that verse and he got saved. He simply trusted Christ believing the gospel message to death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ as the only means of his salvation. And that sparked, of course, the revelation shortly thereafter he nailed his theses to the church door there at Wittenberg, Germany and the Reformation was underway. This incredible book we’ve got that on CD, 10 hours of teaching and I know you’re going to enjoy every minute of it.

We deal with all the difficult passages including those with about predestination in Romans 9, 10 and 11 and you’ll want to get that series. We also have the book of Hebrews. Boy, if there’s a book that is difficult, it’s Hebrews. Look in your Christian bookstore for a commentary on Hebrews, or even if you have a commentary, look at the length of what they say about Hebrews. They pretty much skip it. Most Bible expositors just walk right on by Hebrews.

But we deal with all the difficult passages and go verse by verse and you’ll love the series on Hebrews. we’ve got one called 10 vital doctrines of the Bible. What a solid foundation that will give you. You can order that on CD. You can call our operators after the program is over and they can help you if you want to order into these things. Also, of course, you can go online. Our website is Bibleline Ministries and there you’ll find that you’ll be able to see these things and order them on the internet on our website, BibleLineMinistries.org.

Again, we have to run, keep looking up, Jesus is coming, and I hope you tell your friends about Bibleline. God bless, keep looking up, Jesus is coming, and we believe He’s coming soon.
