Now if you can, please open your Bible to the book of Daniel chapter 3 and join us for Dr. Lindstrom’s teaching for today. If you were here in the first week we talked about how God wanted to show himself strong And on behalf of those who would be sincere toward God, that his eyes, Rome to and fro throughout the earth, to find people that really want to mean business for God.
And so we find that Daniel in chapter 1 verse 8, purposes in his heart, he’s not going to file himself. He’s going to be true to the living God. And so God raises him up from almost being killed when the king decided to kill all the wise of an Ababylon to now being raised up to be one of the chief rulers in the whole kingdom. And then Daniel requested of the king and he said, said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abedne to go over the affairs of the province of Babylon, but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.
So notice his three friends also were raised up. Now, chapter three, Nebuchadnezzar the king had made an image of gold whose height was three score cubits. That’s 90 feet. That’s pretty tall, about a nine story building. And the breath of our was six cubits or about nine feet wide. He set it up in the praying plane of Dura in the province of Babylon. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent together together the princes, the governors, the captains, the judges, the treasures, the counselors, the sheriffs and all the rulers of the provinces that come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Then the princes, the governors, the captains, the judges, the treasures. The counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces were gathered together under the dedication of the image at Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Then and herald cried aloud to you, it is commanded, O people, nations and languages, that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the sackbolt, the sultry, the dulcimer, and all kinds of music.
fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the King had set up. And whosoever falls not down and worshipeth the same hour shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And therefore at that time when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the sack bolt, the salt tree, and all kinds of music, all the people, the nations, and the languages fell down and worshiped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the King had set up.
Wherefore, at that time certain Chaldeans came near and accused the Jews and they spaken said to King Nebuchadnezzar, oh King live forever, thou King has made a decree that every man shall hear the sound of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the cycled bolt, the sultry, the dulcem, and all kinds of music shall fall down and worship the golden image. And whosoever shall not fall down and worshipeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
There are certain Jews whom thou hast said over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadripe, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O King, have not regarded thee. They serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Then Nebuchadnezzar and his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadripe, Meshach, and Abedgo, and they brought these men before the King. Nebuchadnezzar spake and said, is it true? Oh, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Do not you serve my gods nor worship the golden image which I’ve set up?
Now, if you be ready that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet, the flute, the harp, the sackboat, the sultry, and the dulcemen, and all kinds of music, if you fall down and worship the image which I’ve made well, he didn’t say, but apparently he’d spare them. But if you worship not, you shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
Wow. Well, guess what? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are shaking in their boots. And no, it doesn’t say that. Verse 16. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said unto the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we’re not careful or we’re not afraid to answer the in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace. And He will deliver us out of your hand, O King.” Wow, what a statement. But if not, be it none unto the, unto the O King that we will not serve thy gods nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Wow, what bravery, what courage. They said either way, we believe he can deliver us, but if he doesn’t, we’re still not going to worship your gods and we’re not going to fall down to worship your image. Stop for a second. This is a preview of what will happen in the tribulation period. The Antichrist will make an image and that image will be placed in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and the world will be called upon to worship that image, image of the Antichrist.
And if they don’t, they’ll be killed. Wow, this is a preview of what will happen during the tribulation period. And obviously, the believers will decide not to worship the Antichrist, and they’ll stand tall. And many of them will be martyr. But we find that many will be protected miraculously by the Lord. Let’s go to the book of Revelation. But first before we go there, let’s go to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. Second Thessalonians comes right after 1 Thessalonians. It will be on page 1272, that ought to help.
Page 1272, if you have a Bible loaned out. Let no man deceive you, verse 3 tells us. Page 1272, 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 3. Let no man deceive you by the means. that day shall not come, that day being the day of the Lord which we believe begins at the day of the Rapture, at the hour of the Rapture. When the Rapture happens, the day of the Lord is underway. It includes the seven years of tribulation that precede the second coming, and it includes the thousand years which is called a thousand year day.
And so in the The broadest sense, the day of the Lord is a thousand and seven years. In a technical sense, it’s only one thousand years long. It’s a thousand year day. And it has a picture in the Old Testament in the re-creative week of seven days that each of those days represent a thousand years of human history. And on the seventh day, the Lord rested and there’s going to be seven years apparently, seven thousand years of human history total, beginning with Adam six thousand years ago.
the earth is much older than that, but Adam was here 6,000 years ago. Those six days are about up, 4,000 years total of Christ. Two more thousand years since Christ was here. Six days of human history or 6,000 years are about up. The seventh thousand years is about to commence. But before it does, the rapture happens and there’ll be seven years of tribulation that will tick off the clock. During that time, the antichrist will rise to power. And in the middle of the tribulation period, the Antichrist will place his image in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem.
Let no man deceive you by any means. For that day shall not come, except there come a falling away. In the Greek it means a departure. The departure in this verse is talking about the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit goes we go because He dwells us. What happened at Pentecost? The Holy Spirit came to indwell every believer, the church. And when the Holy Spirit is taken, the church goes because he indwalls within us. And so there will be this departure that’ll happen.
Now, Schofield says in the margin of apostasy. And of course, if the departure is from doctrine, then apostasy would be the right answer. And of course, we know that there would be apostasy in departure from sound Bible teaching in the last days. But this is the departure of the Holy Spirit. How do we know? It tells us a little further down here in verse 6. Now you know what with holdeth that he, the antichrist, might be revealed in his time.
Verse 7, for the mystery of iniquity death already worked back in Paul’s time. Only he, that’s the Holy Spirit, who now leteth, it should read hindrith, will continue to hinder. Notice, Schofield’s margin, the word let has changed meaning since 1611 to the being the opposite. We as the word led to mean to Allah. Thank you for joining us. We hope that you’re enjoying today’s teaching on the book of Daniel. You are listening to Bibleline with your host, Dr. Hank Lindstrom.

We have an email that came in from Kristen up in DeWitt, Michigan, and she says that she has a verse that gives the golden rule. She said, I would like to say that Luke 631 is the golden rule.
Luke 631 is the golden rule. Let me just read it here out of the Bible. says, and as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them likewise? And we appreciate that, Kristen. That’s a great bit of research you did there, and I’ll try to tuck that away in my brain for the future. But as you would do, as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them likewise? The Golden Rule there, you have it, Luke 631.
And if the lady is listening, they called in yesterday with a question, there you have that answer. Thank you so much. Kristen in Dewitt, Michigan, calling in with that answer for us. We now have Peter in Palm Harbor, Florida. And Peter, welcome to Bibleline you’re on there. Good morning, Pastor. How are you today? Good. Good. The previous caller, I heard bits and pieces on and I just wondered because I heard the word easy-believism in that it just can’t be that, that he wanted to see salvation in people that continued their sinful practices or you know to say that that wasn’t salvation.
And I just I wasn’t sure what I had heard in terms of the answers and I just keep thinking of Lot. And I wonder if you could comment on Lot. He was called Joss because he obviously believed the same way that Abraham did, that God would provide a Redeemer. And then of course I think in terms of Romans, chapter 10 where it says, with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness. And I think it’s a very slippery slope when we look at people, we look at people who profess to be Christians and we judge them by their works to determine whether they’re saved or not because salvation has always been by belief and trust that God would send a redeemer, that redeemer Jesus Christ that we trust in that sacrifice as payment.
Can you comment on those things? Because maybe if I misunderstood or I misheard, could you kind of fill in some blanks there on that? Absolutely, Peter. And you know, it’s interesting that a lot his life went in a negative direction. Down, down, down, down. And even literally geographically down because he went down into the Sodom Valley, which is the lowest spot on the face of the earth. The surface of the Dead Sea is 1,300 feet below sea level. And Sodom was right there.
about that same level below sea level. So he was not only down morally spiritually in the worst area you could live in the world, but also the lowest spot of the world. And obviously, he was not saved based upon his works or his deeds or where he set up housekeeping, but Lot was made a righteous man in God’s sight by faith. And Peter clearly tells us that in his wonderful book of 2 Peter. That Peter was a righteous man in God’s sight, but he put himself in a bad environment and he had no testimony.
And obviously when the angels came to destroy Sodom, nobody believed him and he did not win anybody to Christ. And his life wound up in ruin and all of his treasures were burned up when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. So he lost his home and was burned up and destroyed. He lost his savings account in the first national bank of Sodom. He lost his boat in his car and all the other things that he had accumulated. Of course, I don’t know if he had a boat or a car.
I probably didn’t. But in any case, whatever wealth he had was all destroyed. He left with just the clothes on his bag as he fled to the little town of Zohar. And there, his wife in the process got destroyed because she went back to get her purse. And we have the two daughters getting a lot drunk and having sex with him and become pregnant by him. And so they commit incest to him. So obviously his life was a total mess and not too many parents are naming their little kid lot.
When they choose the name for their child, they say, well let’s name him lot. That’s a great name. Nobody does. I haven’t really met any guys yet in my lifetime that have the name lot. and obviously he was not an exemplary Christian, and yet the Bible says he was saved. So Peter, you really bring up a good point and I appreciate that because we really aren’t the keepers of the book. And if a person puts their trust in Christ, even Lance Locke did and not live for Christ, they’re still same.
But certainly we teach and preach and the Bible encourages that every believer would live for Christ and serve him because obviously God wants to bless us and reward us. We obviously have treasures that are laid up in heaven as a believer, whereas lots of treasures were all earthly and he lost them and many Christians I’m afraid have all their treasures as earthly treasures and when they die they’ll leave them behind and there won’t have any rewards in heaven and that’s going to be a tragedy.
We have now got Ken down in Miami, Florida and Ken, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hey Hank, thanks for your ministry. You’re welcome. I was, too, a bit disturbed about the caller Charlie because I think what troubles me is because so often we hear a half gospel message. What I mean by that is that we only teach of Christ’s death and his atonement that satisfied God’s righteous demands for our sin, but he didn’t just die for our sin.
He rose from the dead in order to give us life. And unfortunately, that’s where I think these folks get mixed up in understanding that it’s not about telling people what they can or cannot do in reference to sin, but it’s in explaining the full gospel that Paul in Colossians where he said that we admonish everyone and instructing everyone with all wisdom. And what was that truth that he longed to convey? It’s Christ in you, the hope of glory, and that Christ not only died for your sins, but He rose from the dead to give you new life and our focus is on that new life, not on what I’m doing not to do.
I certainly agree, Ken. We have obviously been given a wonderful opportunity to be used of God in this world, this nasty world that we live in, to share the good news of the gospel of Christ and to see God work in our lives to use us as an instrument to be an ambassador, to be a representative, to be a spokesperson, to be a witness for Christ in this world. And God wants to use us every day. And we miss opportunities when we aren’t alert to that.
the fact that… We shouldn’t be focusing on what bad things are wrong things we can do, but how much can we do that is within the will of God that will bring about His blessing and reward in our lives? Well, in the fact of Christ in you, see, and I don’t even like that misnomer of Because it’s not, we’re not servants. We’re sons. We’re children of God. We’re joined areas with Jesus Christ. And the fact that Jesus was our example.
as the God-man, he was totally dependent upon his father. And that’s what we should be teaching these new Christians, that you died and your life is now hidden with Christ and God. And that Christ is your life. He’s become your life, that you died and your new life is found in Christ. And the teach that he lives and that same resurrection power that was in Christ that it raised him from the dead dwells in you. Amen. And that’s when we’re teaching a legalistic gospel in order to conform people to our standard of living.
I think you hit it on the head. Thank you Ken. Appreciate that call. And definitely as a believer, we have a new life in Christ and we are going to live with him forever and ever and ever. And that’s obviously a real great benefit of being saved and we are now going to go to Jimmy in Tampa, Florida. Jimmy, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Thank you. Good morning. Good morning. Yes. The new, the NIV, are they doing a great portion of the word of God?
Absolutely.TV. Absolutely. The new American Standard Bible, for example, in John 647, a great verse that I love in the King James says, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me has everlasting life. In the New American Standard it says, he who believes has eternal life. It doesn’t tell you on whom you are to believe. It just takes out the most important two words. He, the sugg, the NIV is the worst artific, it drops 44 verses in its entirety, in their entirety.
We have the NIV quiz you can call and ask us to send it to you free of charge. And if you take the quiz, using the NIV you’ll get a zero because the quiz is totally on =\”, that has been dropped. That’s an eye opener. I tell you a lot of people that have taken that quiz said I’m getting rid of my NIV because They’re missing scripture. That’s good. Have you ever heard of them? I’m not sure if I have.
Okay. She is speaking about everyday grace. She was speaking about evolution. Well, obviously you can’t obtain grace by works because that’s a contradiction. If it’s by grace, it’s not of works. Otherwise, grace is a grace. But if it be a works, it’s not of grace. Otherwise, work is a work. So you can’t mix the two. Okay. They’re opposites. These women teachers don’t get it right. I hate to, I don’t want to offend you ladies out there. You’re pretty bright and we need you.
But they’re not to be preachers because they have a tendency to think with their emotions and not with their factual part of their brain. And therefore they are more easily deceived and go off into bad doctor. Okay. I thank the doctor for this business. You’re welcome. And thank you for calling him. We hope that you’re learning with us. As we listen to this question and answer segment featuring Dr. Hank Lindstrom. If you’d like to hear today’s program again, then please visit our website at BibleLineMinistries.org.

It’s time for us to take a short break now. When we return, we will continue this question and answer segment and then hear more Bible teachings from Dr. Aitlin’s group. Don’t go away, Bibleline will be back in a moment. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, we’re going to go over to the book of Revelation for a few moments now and we’re going to turn to chapter 3 in verse 5, which is a fascinating verse.
Revelation chapter 3 verse 5, if you have your Bible there, you might want to turn. It says here, He that overcometh the same shall be clothed in white rainmen, and I will not blot out His name out of the book of life. But I will confess His name before my Father and before His angels. What an incredible verse. But you know, you have to define the terms. It says here, he that overcome it. And guess what? This is where most people go wrong.
An overcomer is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, one who has trusted Christ as his Savior. Most people, and I have this wrong idea for many years myself, I thought an overcomer, that’s somebody not me, not me. That has to be a very special super Christian, somebody who’s really living the Christian life and is right on the cutting edge and up there in the top percentile of Christians that love the Lord and are serving Him, and that has to be somebody else than me.
But guess what? Let’s go to the verse that describes this or defines this in its 1 John 5, 4. It says, for whatsoever is born of God, overcome of the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. It’s saying here, if you’ve been born again, you’re an overcomer. If you’ve been born again, you’re an overcomer. And even better than that, is 1 John 5, 5, that says, who is he that overcometh the world? Answer, he that believeeth that Jesus is the Son of God.
If you believe or trust that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he’s your Savior, you are an overcomer by virtue of the fact that Christ overcame on our behalf death, the grave, Satan, the penalty for sin and death, Jesus Christ became the victor and He overcame the devil and overcame the grave and overcame the penalty for sin and death and He did that on our behalf and so therefore we who are believers are overcomers. I can’t emphasize this enough.
Write it down, 1 John 4 and 5, 1 John 5, 4 and 5, it says in verse 4, For whatsoever is born of God. Have you been born again if you have, then you’re in this verse. It says, for whatsoever is born of God, overcome with the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Verse 5, who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God. This is something that happens at the moment you believe.
the moment you believe you become saved and you become saved eternally. And so in Revelation 3-5, when it talks about an overcomer, it’s talking about you and me, a believer, one who’s trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior. And it says three things here concerning us. It says in Revelation 3-5, he did overcome it. The same shall be clothed in white raiment. That speaks about our robe of righteousness, the garment that we have as a saved person, that we are clothed with the righteousness of Christ.
And so the Bible describes that as a robe of salvation or a garment of salvation. And this white raiment is, I believe, speaks of the righteousness of Christ. That we will have at the moment we trust Christ and forever thereafter. Let me give you a great cross-reference. This is back in Isaiah chapter 61. And in Isaiah 61 it talks about this very robe of righteousness that believers have. This is one of my favorite verses. It says in verse 10 of Isaiah 61, I will greatly rejoice in the Lord.
My soul shall be joyful in my God, for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation. He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness.” Wow, there you have it. And so the Bible tells us that the Lord himself is the one that clothes us with the garments of salvation, the robe of righteousness. It’s pictured way back there in Genesis where we have, I believe, the salvation of Adam and Eve pictured for us in Genesis chapter 3. It says, Adam by faith called his wife Eve.
He named his own wife. We don’t get that privilege, do we? Obviously we can name our children, but we cannot name are wives but here Adam actually chose the name for his wife Eve and Eve means mother of all living and here was Adam’s faith expressed in the promise that God had made in Genesis 315 that the woman would have seed and that seed of the woman would destroy or defeat Satan one day, talks of the redemption of the human race through a savior that would come through the seed of the woman, which is probably a veiled reference to the virgin birth, because we find the seed has always passed on through the man, but here talks about a woman having seeds without a man.
We’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break into the second half hour Bibleline. So don’t go away. Would you like to help Bibleline continue in your area? You can. We hope that you’re learning with us as we listen to real life questions and scriptural answers from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Have you been able to join us for Dr.
Lindstrom’s teaching series on the book of Daniel? This series covers a variety of topics from the book of Daniel, such as Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the fiery furnace, the handwriting on the wall, the lion’s Daniel’s many visions and their interpretations, in addition to many exciting prophecies. We hope that you will plan to join us and open your Bible for our verse by verse study of the Book of Daniel. If you have missed any of the teachings in this series, please call our Resource Center at 1-800-576-3771.
Now please join us as we return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll return to more Bibleline teaching from Dr. Hank Lynchdrum. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have Nancy in St. Petersburg. Nancy, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Oh, good morning. I’ve heard you speak of a predatorism and what I’m wondering. Is that the same thing as replacement theology? And is that a serious doctrinal error, those two things? Yeah, they go together.
And it is really pretty serious. It’s to say that there is no rapture. There is no tribulation. There is no second coming. There is no millennium. They got us through with Israel. There is no kingdom that he’ll establish where he’ll be king over the Jews. That they just sprinkle the pixie dust of metaphoricalism upon the Bible. And so what it says doesn’t really mean that. And so yeah, I think it’s a terrible tragedy that people buy into that. But they just don’t believe the Bible.
Prodereism, what does that word come? Is that the same thing as replacement theology than you said? Well, it goes hand in hand. It really means that it’s already happened that the book of Revelation is already a history. Oh, pray with him, guys. Yes, yes. And replacement theology, of course, says that God, as a result of what happened with Christ coming back in 80s, 70s, what they teach, that God was through with Israel, that he judged Israel, cast them out of the land, and they reject the promises that he will bring them back into the land.
Okay, so we should avoid a church that would take something serious like even serious as denying the deity of Christ and the salvation of Jesus. Absolutely, yeah, I think so, because guess what? Churches that believe in predarism and the replacement theology have an anti-semitical viewpoint because, for example, the Presbyterian Church USA several years ago in Richmond, Virginia, National Convention voted to boycott all companies that do business with Israel and sided with the Palestinian Authority. That’s a tragedy. Here’s Christians turning against Israel when God promises that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed and are they asking for a curse upon their denomination?
Oh, oh my gosh. Oh, that’s terrible. Yeah, it is. So what if we, before we go to find a church, we should ask that question then. Absolutely, you should ask if they are predator most most of the nominations You know it started in the 5th century with Augustine and the Roman Catholic church cared that doctrine To this very hour and then the churches that broke away during the Reformation Most all those denominations the press for Syrians the Methodists the losers and so on all believe in replacement theology, so there All of them have rejected that Well, we’re not supposed to judge, but does that mean they’re not saved?
Well, it doesn’t mean that they’re not saved. They are falling into Satan’s hand because God loves Israel and Satan hates Israel. And whenever you say, well, God’s done with Israel and that there is no future for Israel, that’s not true. Let me just read an interesting verse to you and there’s a lot of them we could turn to, But in Ezekiel, this was at the end of the Babylonian captivity at the close of the Old Testament. And here… God says in verse 25 of Ezekiel 37, and they, the Jewish people, shall dwell in the land that I’ve given unto Jacob my servant.
Remember his name was changed to Israel. He had 12 sons. Where in your fathers have dwelt and they shall dwell therein, even they and their children and their children’s children. It says here in my Bible forever. So to say that they won’t be back in that land and they won’t enjoy these promises that God has made is the is really to disbelieve the Bible. Yeah, I also heard, is it true, that I heard that Israel doesn’t even occupy all the, because they’re really their land goes way up to Syria and all and…
Oh, absolutely. Time comes to solve Syria all the way up to the Euphrates River in Iraq and down to the Nile River down in Egypt. And so they’ve never fully possessed all of that land, but they will. I believe they will. Yeah, they will. When Christ comes back, they’ll have all that land. and um… i’m going to write your because i can’t stand the ones that have allowed music i don’t know if they’re i guess they’re saved but i don’t know i just have a well you’re not the only saying that and you know uh…
this is a part of the new wave of uh… of uh… so-called reaching the world they want to drive out the older established people so they can bring in this change and they are attracting people with the music and i i really believe it’s uh… uh… wrong i think it’s uh… you know when you read about the first uh… uh… worship leader back in the old testament it was uh… air in the brother of mosas and while air in was uh…

yes i do and i have two questions for you i have a couple people here with me in real listening And one person I was telling them about sin and how everybody’s sinned. And there’s only really truly one unforgivable sin and that is to sin of unbelief in Jesus Christ. So he was saying one person asked about, well, what if you commit suicide, would you go to heaven? And another person here is, which is that’s one question. And another question is, I mean, the only thing here, she’s Muslim.
And she wants to know who Allah was, but the factola that Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet. And she wants to know then who was Allah. And I’m going to hang up in the listening. We’ve been listening already. Thank you. All right. Geno has several people sitting around him that have questions that he’s calling in to facilitate that. And, you know, first of all, we know that the unpardonable sin is unbelief or rejection of Christ’s suicide will not send you to hell.
You know, Judas committed suicide and went to hell and many have wrongly taught that he went to hell because he committed suicide. Some teach that he went to hell because he betrayed Christ and so on. But the answer is that Judas went to hell because he never was a believer. In John 664 it says that Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not and who should betray him. And Jesus was talking about Judas. Judas was never a believer and he knew that from the beginning.
And Judas died as an unbeliever and therefore it does say he is the son of tradition and that he went to hell. But he went to hell not because he committed suicide but because he never trusted Christ as Savior. So Jesus Christ is God, the God of creation, the God who created the universe, the God who made each and every one of us. He is God who came and took on human flesh. And the Bible tells us that you cannot enter heaven apart from him.
So as a Muslim who does not accept that, you’re in deep trouble according to the Bible because Jesus said in John 14-6, I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man comeeth unto of the Father but by Me. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me. So everybody is excluded except those who trust Christ. And that’s why we… He said, I want to be able to speak to you. I want people to know so that they don’t have to wind up in hell.
And Allah, by the way, is really the moon god. If you’re Muslim, you really are praying to Allah, the moon god. That’s why on every prayer minute or at tower there is the crescent moon because these are prayers being sent up to the moon god. God. It was one of the tribal gods when Muhammad was out there in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. That was one of the gods that was already worshipped by people. And he chose that God, the moon God, as being the God that he was going to present to the world.
And then also there was a meteorite that fell there in the desert sands of Saudi Arabia. And he said that that meteorite was the point of contact between God and man. And so that if you wanted to pray to the moon god to Allah, you would pray in the direction of that rock and then your prayers would be transmitted forward and up to all of the moon god. And so everybody that is Muslim aims their body toward this black rock.
And of course today that’s Mecca. Mecca is all about a black rock. It’s about a 12 inch diameter meteorite that fell and people point their bodies that direction every day from if you’re in the West you pray East, if you’re in the East you pray West, if you’re in the South you pray North, if you’re in the North you pray South. I’ve been in the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey and there’s a niche off center with the beautiful mosque and it gives you the compass direction so that when you lay on your carpet and you pray you can aim toward the black rock in Saudi Arabia and then your prayer will hit that rock and go on up to Allah the moon god and obviously this is not what the Bible teaches and is clearly contrary to the Bible and the Bible read even from the early pages of
Genesis we’re not to worship the sun we’re not to worship the moon which the Muslims do and we’re not to worship the stars. All of this is forbidden. We’re not to worship the creation, but the Creator who created the ball. And that’s the God of the Bible. Do you know, I hope that helps. And certainly I hope your guests have gotten the answer there from that. Jesus is the only way to heaven. And Judas was lost because he never trusted Christ as his Savior.

Now please join us as we continue the Book of Daniel teaching series from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Verse 7 for the mystery of iniquity death already worked back in Paul’s time.
Only he, that’s the Holy Spirit, who now leteth it should read Hindreth will continue to hinder, notice Schofield’s margin, the word let has changed meaning since 1611 to being the opposite. We use the word let to mean to allow. You let someone come into your house, you’ve allowed them to come into your house, but it really means to hinder. And so this word has switched meaning since it was translated to 1611, as Schofield points out that in the margin.
So the one who now hindreth will continue to hinder in the King James of the Redes’ leteth will let until he be taken out of the way. So the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way. That is the departure of verse 3. And then what does it say in verse 8? Then shall that wicked or that wicked one be revealed? What wicked one? It tells us in verse 8, the one whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
That’s the Antichrist. It says, even him, verse 9, who’s coming after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying miracles or lying wonders. In other words, Satan will use his bag of tricks. He’ll be able to do miracles and signs and wonders. And when you see signs and wonders, you need to be suspect. Is it of God or is it of the devil? because we are seeing a rise of signs and wonders, aren’t we? Today. And I would be very careful and suspect whether they’re or God or not, because I believe that most of that is from the devil, and this is what is going to continue to happen and increase after the rapture is that signs and wonders will be done.
Jesus said in Matthew 24, 24. It’s easy to remember, 24, 24. And He said, there shall arise false preachers, and they shall show signs and wonders or miracles in so much if it were possible they’ll deceive the very elect or genuine believers. And we see that genuine believers are being taken in snookard and deceived by the miracle movement today which I believe is a counterfeit movement. And here it says that Satan will do miracles through the Antichrist and his partner the false Christ and Satan of course will be defeated as Christ will come back and destroy him with the brightness of his coming.
That’s the second coming seven years after the rapture. Now it says in verse three, the departure will happen. The Holy Spirit is taken and we go up with him. That’s the rapture that could happen at any time, maybe this year. But then it says, then that man of sin will be revealed, the son of perdition. So the anacrist here has a couple of extra names and there are many names in the Bible for the anacrist. And the anacrist is probably the least one used of him, but it says here, he’s called a man of sin and he’s called the son of hell, the son of perdition.
He will wind up in hell forever and ever and ever. But he will not be revealed until after the Holy Spirit is taken out after the departure of the church, after the rapture. Notice after he’s taken out of the way verse 7 verse 8 says then that wicked one is revealed. Verse 3 when the departure happens, the Holy Spirit taken out, then this man of sin was going to be revealed the son of perdition. Now verse four, here’s the verse we wanted to get to.
Now, take a close look at verse four. Who does what? Aposeth an exalted himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he as God siteth where? In the temple of God showing himself that he is God. Now that can’t be yet because the temple doesn’t exist, does it? The Jewish temple was destroyed in 8070 by the Romans. But a third temple is going to be built. We had Gershaun Solomon here several times for our church.
He’s an Orthodox Jew. He’s been cutting the stones, preparing the garments for the priesthood. And they are prepared to erect that third temple anytime the political climate allows it to happen. He’s tried on numerous occasions to lay the cornerstone for the third temple, putting it on a great big flatbed and with a great big tractor trailer, pulling up to the temple mount. He’s turned away every time so far, but he believes one day he’s going to be able to drive that corner stand up there and start rebuilding the third temple.
Down near Jericho in the wilderness, they have built a temple scale one to one on seven acres and there they have priests training to offer the sacrifices. And they say the reason why is that they got to get it right. Because if you follow the Old Testament instructions, the priest who didn’t do it right was to be killed. So they better get it right as to how to offer the sacrifices and how to have the temple worship system re-initiated.
We believe we’re getting close. They’re practicing. There’s only one particular family that can do the sacrifices. And then they call the cohenaman, heenen family. And by the way, DNA has now come to their aid. They have identified by DNA. They say that only this family of priests have a special DNA that marks them. And they found 2,000 of these that can be priests for the initiation of the temple worship system again in Israel. And so isn’t that amazing? They all have the same DNA that no one else on the planet has.
And there’s 2,000 of them ready to go to serve in the rebuilt temple when it happens. I believe we’re very close. The temple mount is unstable. The southern wall and the western wall are bulging. And they have been warning that it could collapse if it collapses because the whole platform upon which two mosques are sitting, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock Mosque, are in the platform supported now that has become undermined by the Muslims undermining… Hundreds and hundreds of truckloads of material out from underneath the building underground mosque underneath the Temple Mount platform and the structure has been compromised.
They say an earthquake would all it would take to bring it all down and what will happen. Two mosques will go right down with an earthquake and then the way will be prepared for the third temple to be built and that could happen at God’s pleasure at any time. They had an earthquake last year that was near the Dead Sea that shook Jerusalem and stones fell from the wailing wall and from the eastern wall of the Temple Mount. And they say one more good shake over there could bring it all down and maybe that’s the way it’ll happen.
So a temple will be rebuilt and what does the Antichrist do? He will sit in that third temple and notice he will show himself that he is God and demand to be worshiped. Amazing. So here is a man that will claim to be God. This is the seed of Satan, a man that Satan will indwell and empower that will rise up during the tribulation period and he will have an image. Let’s go now over to UrielCHECK APPLIC,…Socket Page 1342, Revelation chapter 13, it tells us about the false prophet whose ministry is similar to the Holy Spirit’s ministry and relationship to Christ.
The false prophet will have the ministry of causing people… to worship to worship verse 12 says He exercises all the power of the first beast. That’s the Antichrist. The earth and them that dwell there in the first beast whose deadly wound was healed. So the false prophet two men, powered by Satan, will have a ministry of causing peopleĆ to focus on Antichrist and worship him. Verse 3 false prophet will do great wonders miracles so that he bring aSacr or make a fire come down from heaven on the earth and the side of the earth.
Pretty spectacular miracles are going to be done by this guy. Satan of course will be the one behind the scenes empowering him to do those miracles. Miracles have done in the past by Satan haven’t they? Remember when Moses confronted the Pharaoh in Egypt? The Egyptian magicians came up and they could duplicate almost every miracle, miracle for miracle. When Moses threw his rod down and it became a serpent, the Egyptian magicians threw their rods down and they became serpents. When Moses turned the water to blood in the Nile, the Egyptian magicians turned the water to blood as well.
And miracle for miracle, it was a contest between Satan and God. Part of the warfare we were talking about in the previous class. Thanks for listening to Bibleline with Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Be sure to tune in…………………………….. the seed of the woman, which is probably a veiled reference to the virgin birth, because we find the seed is always passed on through the man, but here talks about a woman having seed without a man, that’s probably the virgin birth and that this virgin-born child, the Lord Jesus Christ, would be victorious over the devil. And Adam believed that, and before Eve ever had the first child, he called her Eve the mother of all living, the mother of all living because he believed the promise that she would have children, and down through time the Messiah would come, the seed of the woman, the Lord Jesus Christ, who would defeat Satan.
And as he is the overcomer, we become overcomers by trusting in what he accomplished for us at the cross. As a result, the very next verse in Genesis chapter 3 says that God clothed them with coats of skins of animals, that God clothed them. Well, before that, you know what happened. Adam and Eve decided to cover themselves with fig leaves. That’s right. went out and got some big leaves and they put them on what God said that doesn’t work.
That doesn’t cover your sin. And so we notice here a picture of Christ. An innocent animal had to be slain. Christ was innocent, sinless and had to be slain for you and me. The blood of that animal had to be shed, Christ’s blood had to be shed at the cross to pay for our sins. And that the animal itself, its fur, its outer covering became the covering for Adam and Eve. And we find that God is the one who clothed them.
They didn’t do a thing. It was their faith in the belief in the coming Savior that brought about their salvation. And the same thing in the picture is true of us. Jesus, being the innocent substitute, died for us. His blood was shed. His righteousness becomes our covering, and God is the one that closed us. Because when we trust Him, we are clothed by Him. Look at verse 5 of Revelation 3. He that overcometh the same shall be what? Clothed in white raiment.
God will put the cloth on you. It is His righteousness you’re seeing in His righteousness the moment you believe. Secondly, Revelation 3.5, I will not blot out His name out of the book of life. Most people get this wrong. We’re always taught usually that your name is written down when you become a believer. That’s not true. Everybody’s name is in the book to begin with because God made provision for everyone to go to heaven. There’s not a reason why anybody should go to hell.
If they trust Christ the Savior, they’ll all be saved. Because man is given a choice and you can reject Christ as your Savior There will be those who will not enter heaven and if they die as an unbeliever their name is stricken From the book at the moment of death But as this verse promises at the moment you believe at the moment you trust Christ God makes a promise to you and me as believers. I will not blot your name out of the book of life Wow, what does it say here?
My name will never be blotted out of the book of life And if you’re a believer, your name will never come out of the book of life. What does this say? You can’t be lost. It’s amazing how many people believe you can lose your salvation and they don’t realize how far they are from the truth of God’s Word. How far they are from what the Bible proclaims everywhere. It says right here, if you become a believer, which is what an overcomer is, 1 John 5, 4 and 5, who is he that overcometh?
The one that believes that Jesus Christ or trusts that Christ is the Savior, the Son of God. John 5 5. And if you’re a believer, your name will never come out of the book. It says it right here, Revelation 3 5. He that overcometh God says here, I will not blot his name out of the book of life. Your name will never come out. My name is never going to come out. I’m going to heaven no matter what. I’m saved forever.
I can’t be lost because God has made a promise that not only has He given me the eternal life, He’ll never blot my name out of the book. And then lastly, He says thirdly, I will confess His name before my father and before his angels. Well guess what? The moment you become saved, there’s an announcement made in heaven that there’s going to be a new arrival, you. That you are now a child of God, a child of heaven, a child of the Lord Jesus Christ, a child of God, and you will enter heaven one day and they already know you’re coming at the moment you believe.
Your name is mentioned, confessed, announced in heaven at the moment you believe. Grill of good news. You’ve got to run. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming. And we believe he’s coming soon.
