We can see the peace supposedly that’s now coming to Israel. If this is real or not, I don’t know how Moses is going to fight against it. But Israel is giving away land for peace. And one of the things that will anger God when Jesus comes back, He’ll judge the nations for having parted His land and for how they have treated the people of Israel, the Jewish people, which God took on Jewish flesh. And obviously the nations are going to be judged for that.

So, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were cast into the burning fire of furnace because they refused to worship. Nebuchadnezzar was astonished that he saw four men walking in the fire and he said, didn’t we cast three and I see four? And he was seeing clearly and the fourth one he said was like unto the Son of God. An amazing, interesting reference to Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. If somebody ever asks you, where do you find Jesus in the Old Testament?

That’s one of the easy ones, isn’t it? He was in the burning fiery furnace. He was with Chadrak Mechek in a bendigo. A picture of hell and how that Christians will never be hurt of hell or the second death. That is, if you’re a believer, you’ll never go to hell. And basically, Christians just don’t burn. We’ll never be in the spiritual sense cast into hell as a believer. delivered from that by Christ, and Christ was with them there in that burning fiery furnace.

Chapter 4 is Nebuchadnezzar’s testimony about how I believe he finally comes to the place where he becomes saved. If you read these first couple of verses in chapter 4, it sounds like the Apostle Paul writing. I mean, it sounds like New Testament language. says here in verse 1, Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations and languages that dwell on all the earth. Peace be multiplied unto you. How many times do we find that phrase? Peace be multiplied unto you as Paul writes his epistles and he uses that very same phrase.

You’d think that Nebuchadnezzar and Paul got together and had a little talk and they pick up the same phrases. It’s interesting, isn’t it? So this is, Nebuchadnezzar giving his testimony, He becomes saved, I believe, as a result of this next chapter, the experiences he goes through. And here he writes about the true and living God, the God of the Bible, here is a pagan king who becomes saved. And now he proclaims the wonderful message, too bad that each successive king since then didn’t follow that.

But he was one who proclaimed Christ. Look at you, well, at verse two. I thought it good to show the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. So he’s going to give his personal testimony. Let me tell you what happened. Nebuchadnezzar is saying. Verse three, how greater his signs, how mighty are his wonders, his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. Wow, does that sound like an unsaved pagan king?

This sounds like a like a New Testament believer, doesn’t it? The language is so much the same. As you read this and you read the New Testament, you say, wow, sounds like the Apostle Paul. Peace be multiplied unto you. And so Nebuchadnezzar really is a new man. He becomes saved. And here he proclaims his testimony. He says, here’s what happened. Let me tell you the story Nebuchadnezzar says in verse 4, I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at rest in my house flourishing in my palace.

I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. So here he has another dream. Remember the one that we found in chapter 2 which lays out this colossal image telling us the progression of the building of the Gentile powers into one final empire that will come under the control of the Antichrist and will stand its feet back where it all began in Iraq. And I believe we’re there right now.

We are seeing the image about the beast stood up in the Middle East, controlling all of what was ancient Assyria and the head of this country being the Antichrist, controlling Europe and this country and the Middle Eastern countries. And some have asked me, is Europe just going to, you know, wind up cooperating with us? No, the answer is no. This country will militarily take over Europe. And it tells us later, we’ll see in Daniel 7.8, that the United States, the 11th country, will pluck up three European countries by the roots.

That’ll be simple for the President of the United States, who will be the Antichrist at at the time when it happens as the Supreme Commander of our military to order the takeover, our military is already there. You could probably figure out which three countries. And I’m thinking probably England, France and Germany, they’ll go down in a heartbeat. We’ll take them over. We’re there. And then the rest of Europe will just say, we’re yours, whatever you want to do with us.

We’re under your control. We’ll take over Europe in a heartbeat. And And then Europe and America will control the Middle East and its feet will be firmly planted in Iraq where it all began. And we’ll show you the verses that say all that as we get to chapter 7 in our study of Daniel. Verse 6, Nebuchadnezzar says, therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.

Then came in the magicians and the astrologers, the Chaldeans and the Susayers, and I told and they did not make no one under me the interpretation thereof. But at the last, Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belt Chasar. According to the name of my God, notice at this point he’s still unsaved, even though he had already seen what happened with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Here we find he’s still talking about his God, my God, and in whom is the Spirit of the Holy Gods, that’s Daniel.

And before him, I told the dream saying, O, Belch, has our Master of the Magicians, because I know that the Spirit of the Holy Gods is in thee. And no secret trouble with thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen in the interpretation thereof. Here it is, here’s the dream. Thus were the visions of my head in my bed, I saw and behold a tree in the midst of the earth. The height of it thereof was great.

The tree grew and was strong, and the height there have reached unto heaven, and in the sight thereof to the end of all the earth. The leaves thereof were also were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all. The beast of the field had shadow unto it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and They hold a watcher and a holy one came down from heaven.

We’re not told exactly who these watchers are, but they may be some of that special class that I don’t consider angels. is. The seraphim or the cherubim who are ever watching out for God and protecting his throne. But in any case, these are those who are assigned to watching over things that are taking place. So it says here, a watcher and a holy one came down from heaven. And it says in verse 14, he cried aloud and said thus, Hugh down the tree, cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, scatter his fruit, let the beast Get away from under it in the fowls from under its branches.

Nevertheless, leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, and in the tender grass of the field, and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beast of the grass of the earth, and let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him, and let seven times pass over him. First matter, verse 17, is by decree of the Watchers and the demand by the word of the holy ones and to the intent that the living may know.

Are you ready for this phrase? That the living may know that the most high ruleeth in the kingdom of men and giveth it to whims whomever he will and set it up over it even the basis of men. Sometimes we look out and we say how in the world could God allow such an evil man to rule sometimes as we look at different governments around the world. Thank you for joining us. We hope that you’re enjoying today’s teaching on the book of Daniel.

We have Owen now in Bradenton, Florida. Owen, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Earth. Good morning, Dr.

Hank. Thank you so much. Just quickly, I’m a Sunday school teacher, and I do use the Schofield Bible that you recommend, and I have to say it’s absolutely wonderful to know what’s confident that I’m using the correct version. A quick question, though, I have some friends who moved to another church, and in this church, they’re being taught that once you’re saved in God’s eyes, you are saved there are things you can do as far as acts to earn rewards in heaven uh…

however they’re being taught that god won’t take your salvation away you yourself can turn your back on god uh… and and there’s uh… therefore remove your salvation yourself and i didn’t think that was correct button but i want to know it’s not and and it’s interesting how they always try to find a sneaky way to get out of the thing But if you look at John 637, it says, him that cometh to me, I want to know why it’s cast out.

Usually when you confront him with that verse, they say, Okay, all right. He won’t cast me out. But as you just mentioned, they say, I can cast myself out. If I don’t want it anymore, I could turn my back on God and walk away. That is not possible for numbers of reasons. But in verse 39, Jesus says, this is the Father’s will, which has sent me that of all of which have given me I should lose none, not one, but raise them all up again at the last day.

So Jesus keeps us saved and he says he would not lose one. So if one person were ever saved and then became lost, Jesus would be a liar. The Word of God would be wrong and obviously we might as well let him mention the Bible and walk away. Jesus will not lose one single person that has come to him. And also Hebrews 13 5, Jesus says, I will never leave you. Now never means never. So if somehow you did wind up going to hell, Jesus would have to go to hell with you.

That’s just not going to happen. Just by going to happen. Chapter 6 verse 37, what book was that in? John 6 37, and then the better one is verse 39 where he said he would not lose one person that has come to him and become saved. So once you’re saved, you’re stuck. I tell people after you’re gonna have money, like it or not. Yeah, there have been a break my heart, but they’re deeply immersed in a book that they’re using as a Bible study by someone who apparently is there.

Concept that you can do all kinds of things to earn crowns and and and that sort, but that you personally can turn your back and lose your salvation and when I heard that come out of their mouth high about died. I know it said because really they’re trusting in their works are really saying that how they can continue their life until their death whether they remain faithful and do that and whether they do not turn their back on god determines whether they’re saved or not that makes them the Savior not Christ and so therefore i don’t believe they’re saved right right scary really scary it was scary because these are uh…

you know just a very devoted couple that have been in the church all their life and and you know now at age fifty have joined another church there in a uh… bible study and and this is a book the entire church is using apparently entire congregation and when they just told me that i just could not believe my years but i thank you so much you’re welcome and then thank you for being there but have a great day got by you know it’s too bad that the whole church was study a book when the greatest book in all the world is the word of god and you can’t do better than the bible and i find that i i can never exhaust what is taught in the bible we can never run out of things to say this is such a incredible book that uh…

you can study all your life and never really fully uh… gain all that god has thanks for that call and we are now going to go to uh… tony in tampa tony welcome to bible on your own ear uh… but not enough to uh… actually all of the and the question i don’t know you would get united to be the bobblum system that the part of the crime since the bobblum he’s probably that it’s a system that the all over the world and that the at the end and uh…

you know it’s a bobblum which country well What you need to do is read Daniel and in the second chapter you have the dream of Nevenkin as a re-dream about this colossal image, the head of which was Babylon, the shoulders and arms were the Medo-Persian Empire, the belly was of brass and that was the Grecian Empire, then you had the Roman Empire that followed, and then you come down to the end of time and you have ten toes and I’ll be those of the ten nations out of Europe that have come together in the European common market.

And then you have another nation that’s spawned by Europe that is the 11th nation and this is the development of this Babylonian system in the West in that image. And when the image would be complete, which is now with Europe and America on the scene, then it would stand up and it says it would stand upon its base, which is back in the Middle East. So America’s feet are back in Iraq. And that’s where, of course, ancient Babylon was.

So we’ve come back full circle, and all the Western nations are, I believe, included in that group called Babylon. And we thank you for your call. We now have Keith in Richmond, Virginia, and Keith Wolkman Bible on your own ear. Hi, Dr. Hank. Hi. I’ll just ask my question to hang up. I just want to know where in the Bible it says that a demon can’t enter someone that has the Holy Spirit. Okay. John 4 and 5 say that, greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

That he there is Satan. So we know that Satan is obviously not going to want to dwell in the same body where God the Holy Spirit involves. And so obviously he’s not going to come into the body of a Christian. So that’s 1 John 4, 4. Greater is he that is in you. That’s the Holy Spirit. than he’s satan it’s in the world. So a demon or Satan does not want to be in the same presence in the same body as that where the Holy Spirit is.

So I think there you have your answer. Okay, we’re now gonna go to Annette calling in from Tampa, Florida, Annette, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Hi, how are you? Good. I have a question about the 144,000 that it speaks of in Revelation. Sure. you could just simply explain from the biblical scriptural standpoint who they are what they’re for and then compare that with the era that the Jehovah’s Witnesses teach about the hundred and forty four thousand I’ll be happy to do that thank you and I’ll listen off the phone thank you thank you that was a net in Tampa and asking about the hundred forty four thousand well if you look at Revelation 7 verse 4 it says I heard the number of them that were sealed and and there were sealed 140 and 4,000 of all the tribes of the children of

Israel. So you have to be Jewish. to be one of the 144,000 and the Joe’s witnesses learn not Jewish so obviously they don’t qualify they don’t seem to pay attention to the Bible Amazingly they claim that they teach the Bible, but they really really do Do a number on you because they they twist the scriptures But it says there there’ll be a hundred and forty four thousand Jewish people sealed and these will be sealed after the rapture. So they’re not even sealed yet.

And I believe this means that they’ll be saved and they’ll be sealed with Holy Spirit and commissioned to go out and be God’s Witnesses during their tribulation period. If you read Revelation 7, chapter 7, verse 5 and 6 and so on, it names 12 tribes of Israel and 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes, 12 times 12,000 is 144,000. So the 144,000 are Jewish, and we find out that they’re also men, and that they’re also Virgin men. If you turn to chapter 14 of the book of Revelation, it says that these are all men, and they’re all Virgin men, and it says they were redeemed by Christ’s blood from among men.

So here we have three things about the 144,000. They’re Jewish, they’re men and they’re virgin men. So if a woman comes to your door, she’s disqualified it immediately because all 104,000 are men, then they have to be Jewish. Are you Jewish? I ask a Jehovah’s Witness and they say, no, well, I’m sorry, you can’t be one of the 104,000. And if it’s a married man, he’s also disqualified. He has to be a virgin. These are God’s witnesses during the tribulation period.

Once the rapture happens and we, the body of Christ, are taken up to meet the Lord in the air. There will be seven years of tribulation and it immediately begins with no believers. All the believers are raptured out. So what will happen? God is going to send back two witnesses, two Old Testament prophets, Moses and Elijah, and I believe through their evangelism they will lead these 144,000 Jewish men to Christ and they in turn will lead millions to Christ.

Revelation 7 and 9 says, I saw a number which no man could number, a great multitude of Of all nations and kinrogen tongues which get saved as a result of the evangelism of the 144,000. The witnesses of course claimed that they were the 144,000 and they didn’t realize that their movement would grow to more than 144,000 so they had to do some adjustments. And so they said, well the first 144,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses are the 144,000 and that the rest of the Jehovah’s Witnesses will then live on the new earth and not go to heaven only 144,000.

Crazy teaching, they’re not only not the 144,000, but they’re not going to go to heaven or to the New Earth because the Jehovah’s Witnesses deny Christ and his shed blood is the only means of their salvation. Jesus is God who took on flesh. And in 1 John 2, 23 it says, whosoever denyth the Son, the same hath not the Father. So the witnesses do not have the Father, that means they don’t have Jehovah. So they’re Jehovah’s Witnesses without Jehovah.

They’re Jehovahless. Amazing. They just are so deceived and we need to pray for the witnesses. Hope that helps in that. Thank you so much. We hope that you’re learning with us. As we listen to this question and answer segment featuring Dr. Hank Lindstrom. If you’d like to hear today’s program again, then please visit our website at BibleLineMinistries.org. Bibleline will be back in a moment. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. You know, every Christian has a ministry given to him by the Lord. Did you know that? every Christian. In fact, every Christian has the same ministry. This does not mean that every Christian will have the same occupation or that he will not have different areas in which he may serve. But 2 Corinthians 5, 18 says that God has given to us that is every believer, the ministry of reconciliation, that is the ministry of winning the loss to Christ.

Scripture even tells us what to say in order to win men to Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5, 19, where it says to it, That’s Old English and it means that is to say and here’s what we’re to say It tells us even what we’re to do and how we’re to do it and what we’re to say it says that is To wit or that is to say that God was in Christ That’s the first point. I think it’s important for us as Christians to let people know that Jesus was not some great teacher some great prophet some guy that came along that was a a gifted communicator, he was God who came and took on human flesh.

You know, Islam accepts Jesus as a prophet. Of course, they accept 40,000 prophets, and Jesus is just one of the boys. They don’t recognize him as God. They do not recognize his deity. And this is universal, where people that do not know about the deity of Christ about the deed of Christ and do not recognize the deed of Christ really haven’t heard about and been confronted with the Jesus of the Bible because the real Jesus is God. And he’s God who took on human flesh.

In John 1-1 it says in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. That’s talking about Christ. And it says in verse 14, and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ is the word, the second eternal member that God had do existed from eternity past. And as it says in John 1-1, in the beginning was the word. He was already present when the beginning began. In other words, when God created time and space, when time began, in the beginning when time began God, the eternal second member of the Godhead, the Lord Jesus Christ, already had existed from eternity past.

And to deny this, guess what? The Bible says this is the spirit of Antichrist. In other words, the whole spirit of Antichrist is to deny that Jesus Christ is God who came and took on flesh. And so obviously it’s a major doctrine. In 1 John 2, 23, it says, Whosoever denyeth the Son, the same hath not the Father. So if you don’t have the Son, if you don’t accept and recognize that He has got it took on flesh, that He is the Savior who died on the cross of Calvary, then you don’t have God.

The cults are all in that situation. The Jehovah’s Witnesses are really Jehovahless. That’s right. They deny the Son, therefore they don’t have the Father. it in 1 John 2 23 for yourself. Obviously, this is a major doctrine and it tells us here that not only do we all have this ministry of reconciliation that God has given to every believer to win the loss to Christ, but he even tells us in 2 Corinthians 5 19 what we are to say when we are talking to the lost as it says to it or that is to say it is old English, but to it means to witness and we are to give witness and say that God was in in Christ.

Jesus Christ is God in flesh. Then it says, you’re reconciling the world unto himself. He is the reconciler. He is the Savior. There is nothing that you and I can do to be saved, but receive what Christ has done for us. I love what the hymn writer wrote when the hymn writer wrote, just as I am I come. Without one plea but that thy blood was shed for me. I come to Christ just as I am, just as wretched and a sinner as we could be or are in God’s sight.

And we simply receive Christ and He saves us. He’s the reconciler. He’s the one that gives us eternal life. Find here that He is the one that does all in salvation. We don’t do anything. I love the other Him. Jesus paid it all. All to Him Oh, sin had left a crimson stain. But he washed it. Has widest no. We have no part but to receive it when we simply trust Christ as our Savior. God saves us and we’re saved eternally.

We’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break into the second half hour by one and we’ll be right back with you in one second so no go away. This is Tom Perry for Bibleline Ministries. We hope that you’re learning with us as we listen to real life questions and scriptural answers from Dr.

Hank Lindstrom. Have you been able to join us for Dr. Lynch from his teaching series on the Book of Daniel? This series covers a variety of topics from the Book of Daniel, such as Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the fiery furnace, the handwriting on the wall, the lion’s den, Daniel’s many visions and their interpretations, in addition to many exciting prophecies. We hope that you will plan to join us and open your Bible for our verse by verse study of the Book of Daniel.

If you have missed any of the teachings in this series, please call our Resource Center at 1-800-576-3771. Now please join us as we return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll return to more Bibleline teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We have Bert in Miami. Bert, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air and Bert, thank you for calling in. Yes, sir. I think this is what the Bible teaches. One of the things that I should be giving you milk and meat.

Well, I’ve been handed a big stake here. This is about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Many teachers, this is separate from when you were born again. And one of the things that they use to substantiate their claim is that Jesus, after his resurrection, but before his ascension, He believed on his disciples the Holy Spirit and at that point they were born again, but then in the upper room on the day of Pentecost they teach that they receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

And I wish you would do a show one day because they also cite Acts 2, 4, Acts 8, 14, Acts 9, 17, Acts 10, 44, Acts 19, 1, 2, 7, and the examples of receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Now I’m not quite sure about this and I’m not convinced. I think that we’re in duot with the Holy Spirit when they’re going again. I don’t think we have a separate experience with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, for the gifts and for empowerment.

But I’m an infant Christian learning about this and I wish you could do a show one day and expound on that. Well we’ll have to do that. I have a 12-hour series on the Holy Spirit where I go into great depth about all that. But let me give you a quick answer here. 1 Corinthians 1213 says, by one spirit are we all? That is every believer is baptized with Holy Spirit and placed into the body of Christ. And that’s what the baptism is.

It’s the placing of the believer into the body of Christ. And it says as a result of verse 27 of 1 Corinthians 12, I just quoted verse 13, but verse 27 says, now you are the body of Christ and members in particular. So you are placed into Christ’s body and become a member of the body of Christ by trusting Christ and Savior. And it’s not a separate experience. When you trust the Lord, there are four operations of Holy Spirit that every believer experiences.

And they happen at the instant of salvation. You are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. You’re born again. You’re involved with the Holy Spirit. And then you’re baptized with the Holy Spirit and you’re sealed as he a l d e s e a l e d with all his spirit of the moment of belief what do you think that the uh… the type of a born again uh… they were born in when they got saved early on you know john the jesus told uh…

nikadimis uh… if you trust christ is a baby born again they didn’t receive the holy spirit uh… at at the resurrection there except for a temporary indwelling to help them to those forty days after the uh… resurrection to learn God’s word. Anyway, the baptism of the Holy Spirit didn’t occur until Pentecost. So they received the Holy Spirit as you would in the Old Testament times, which was a temporary dwelling. And so you breathed on them the Holy Spirit, gave them the Holy Spirit for 40 days.

Then, I believe the Holy Spirit left. And in the remaining 10 days, while Christ had ascended to heaven, while they were waiting for Pentecost the 50th day, they were without the Holy Spirit. And then the Holy Spirit came to permanently and dwell believers of this age at Pentecost. The conversion has to do with your Christian life and I was saved and a year later I was converted. I dedicated my life a year after I got saved and that’s conversion.

Oh, well, thank you very much. OK, keep listening. Thank you. Down in Miami, Florida, Greg called in from Tampa, left this off air question. We were talking about 144,000 a few minutes ago and he says, why is the tribe of Dan not mentioned in the 144,000 Jewish witnesses? Dan is the tribe left out of that list and I believe the reason why is apparently it’s hinted in Genesis 49 that the Antichrist will come out of the tribe of Dan.

It talks about there is we find the blessing given upon the twelve sons of Jacob as Israel or Jacob blessed his twelve sons. He gave a prophecy about each one. He tells there that Jesus would come out of the tribe of Judah. He would come out of the tribe of Judah and then immediately following he talks about the tribe of Dan and that the serpent would come out of Dan and he would strike the right of the horse and he would fall backward.

We believe that’s a reference to the Antichrist and so the Antichrist tribe will not be blessed by being a part of the hundred forty four thousand and Joseph’s son got the double blessing. So Ephraim and Manassus, that extra tribe is replaced by the two sons of Joseph. So Joseph’s line is carried through Ephraim and Manassas is added and so you have 12 tribes there. But in the millennium, Dan is included again. So God is forgiving and the tribe of Dan will have a place in the Millennial Kingdom when Christ is ruling and reigning here on this earth.

I hope that helps. We’re now going to go to Richmond, Virginia and we have Tom on the line and Tom, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Good morning. Good morning. Hey, I was thinking about that scripture whenever Jesus told Nicodemus, unless you be born again, you cannot be the kingdom of God. And I was thinking how that applies to the millennial reign, the people born after the millennial reign begins will not be saved until they trust Christ and some of them will even rebel at the end, meaning that they’re actually seeing the kingdom of God and they have nothing born again.

How do you explain that one? It’s wild, isn’t it? This tells us the wickedness of the human heart. As it says in Jeremiah 17, 9, the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it? And of course the answer is God only knows our hearts. But you’ll find that people born during the millennium, even though Christ is living on the earth and the earth will be filled with his knowledge, that people will still reject Jesus as their savior.

Isn’t that amazing? I just can’t believe anybody would do that. You know, just imagine Christ being here on the earth visible but yet when he was here the first time obviously the whole nation not for the most part of Israel rejected their Messiah so it shows again that wickedness but of course a millions will be saved very net time and the earth’s population will greatly grow the thing that gets me though that technically they are seeing the kingdom of God and they’re not born again yet so that kind of you know I just bought it morning when you were used by that scripture well you’re right it seems like an apparent contradiction although i know it can’t be because there are no contradictions that they’re right trying to figure that one out well they’re in the what is really called the kingdom of heaven which is the uh…

uh… heavens ruling over the earth and uh… the kingdom of god is a phrase that is greater than that includes all the god is uh… under his authority in sovereignty which is the whole universe and uh… which continues on into eternity after the uh… destruction of this world after the thousand-year earthy reign. So they won’t enter into that, but they will, they do get to enjoy the earth at its most beautiful state. The earth will be like a garden again and it’ll be a peace and it’ll be a wonderful time to live on the earth and they will have been privileged to see the Lord here on the earth and be surrounded with a knowledge of who He is and what He’s done.

And so they’ll be greatly punished in hell, unfortunately, because they would have rejected greater light. All right. Well, I think that pretty much explains. I appreciate that. Thanks. Thank you, Tom, in Richmond, Virginia. We have Officer Rod in Charles City, Virginia calls in. He leaves this offer a question. He says, I talked with a 53-year-old man who said he was a descendant of the Nephthaliom in Genesis thinking he was an alien. Is this true? Well, obviously it’s interesting that word is used throughout the Bible.

Anybody that’s real big like Goliath was one of these huge guys. It just translated as giants are huge guys. And we have a lot of them today that play in the sports today. You know, I just heard that the University of Florida got a freshman nose guard for their football team that he weighs about 320 pounds. as quick as can be. Can you imagine those are big guys 320 pounds? Well… In any case, no, he’s not a descendant of any of those before the flood of Noah, and he’s not an alien, but he’s just a huge man.

And we still have huge people around. And so he needs to know Christ as Savior. He needs to know that everybody without Christ is into the family of God. The Bible actually uses that word and that we need to trust Christ to become born again, become a child of God, and live with Him forever. ever. So Rod, I hope you can talk to that gentleman again and tell him he just needs to become saved and he’s not an aberration.

When the children of Israel later tried to enter the Promised Land, that same Hebrew word is used of the anacms and the false spies, the ones that came back with the false report said that the people in the land are giants. Well, that’s the word and that was after the flood and those that were living before the flood were destroyed, but yet it’s in our genes that some people get pretty big and we have people that are small. But it doesn’t mean that we’re aliens.

Hope that helps Rod. This wraps up today’s question and answer segment about the Bible featuring Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We hope that you have enjoyed it and that you are growing in your knowledge about the Word of God. Sometimes we look out and we say how in the world could God allow such an evil man to rule sometimes as we look at different governments around the world.

God, and he was a man like that. Tortured and killed and mistreated his people. And definitely these people have been liberated from an awful, awful tyranny under the regime of Saddam Hussein. But God allows different men to come to power. And he’s going to allow the Antichrist to come to power, who’s going to be a man that will make Hitler look like a good guy. guy. But there have been evil men who have ruled down through time. And we find that ultimately Christ will come back and set this world free and set up HisARB and bring peace on earth.

Good will toward men. What a wonderful day that will be when the earth is delivered from the curse and Christ is ruling here on the planet earth. But we know that God is in charge. And so as we look out, we should never despair. We should never say, wow, there is no God or that God isn’t paying attention or he’s asleep or he’s just ignoring what’s taking place on this earth. He’s fully aware of what’s going on and he allows these things that take place.

Sometimes different governments that come along are a judgment to people because of the sinfulness of the nation and the people are actually coming into God’s judgment. Sometimes it’s through those kinds of persecutions and troubles that people seek and when they seek what happens. They find. And I believe that God is constantly working with men to cause them to seek him and to try to find him. And if they seek him, they will find him and they’ll become saved. It’s God’s desire that now any should perish, but that all should come to a change of mind, Paul repents and becomes saved.

So notice here is the most high that rule within the kingdom of men. He give it to whims, whoever he will, he set it up over the basis of men, sometimes the bottom of the pile, the worst of men wind up in leadership sometimes. Verse 18, this dream, I King Nebuchadnezzar have seen, now therefore O’er Bell Chasar, which is Daniel, declare the interpretation thereof, for as much as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation, but thou art able for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.

Here we now have the dream interpreted by Daniel verse 19 and Daniel whose name was Belchaser was a stunted for one hour. His thoughts troubled him. The king spake and said, Belchaser, let not the dream or the interpretation thereof trouble the Belchaser answered and saidFOX my Lord the dream be to them that hate theeritical interpretation thereof toMpServerimbabwe !!. Daniel was trying to soften the awful verdict that would come as a result of this dream.Prev. to come down too hard on Nebuchadnezzar with the consequences of what this dream meant.

So he says here, Milton Schadzer answered and said, my Lord, the dream be to them that hate thee in the interpretation of two thine enemies. The tree that thou saw us which grew and was strong, whose height reached unto heaven and The sight thereof was to all the earth whose leaves were fair and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all under which the beasts of the feast dwelt and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation.

Verse 22, It’s you, King. You are that tree. It is you, O King, thou art grown, and become strong, and your greatness is grown, and reach a thund of heavens and a dominion to the end of the earth. Whereas the king saw a watcher and a holy one coming down from heaven saying, Hute on the tree and destroy it, yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass in the tender grass of the field.

And let it be what with the do of heaven, and let his portion be with the beast of the field till seven times pass over him. This is the interpretation, O King, and this is the decree of the most high which has come upon my Lord, the King. Verse 25, that they shall drive thee from men, thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most high ruleth in the kingdom of men and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

Nebuchadnezzar had to be humbled. He was proud of his accomplishments and he was taking all the credit. We all need to learn from this lesson that we don’t take credit because God is the one who raises up and he’s the one who puts down and he’s the one that blesses and we have to recognize it’s he that makes it all possible. We’re told that back in Deuteronomy. The whole nation was to learn that lesson. Let’s go back there for just a moment.

Deuteronomy 8, what an interesting chapter. And Moses warns the nation of Israel as they were about to enter into prosperity. They hadn’t been in Egypt. Now they had wandered through the wilderness. This is page 224. Now they’re going to enter the Promised Land. And all of a sudden they’re going to experience prosperity for the first time. We find here in Deuteronomy chapter 6, I think I said chapter 8. It says here in verse 17, you shall diligently page 224 Deuteronomy 6 17, you shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his testimonies and his statutes which you commanded thee.

shall do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with thee that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord swear unto your fathers, to cast out all nine enemies from before thee as the Lord has spoken. And when thy son asked at thee in time to come, saying, what mean the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments which the Lord our God commanded you? Then thou shall say unto your son, we were Pharaoh’s bondsmen.

We were slaves in Egypt. And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. And the Lord showed signs and wonders, great and sore upon Egypt and upon his household and before our eyes. And he brought us out from thence. And he might bring us in and give us the land which he swear unto our fathers. And here they’re told now to keep those commandments. Now go to chapter 8 with me, and it says over here, Beware in verse 11 of chapter 8, Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God in not keeping his commandments and his judgments and his statutes which are commanded this day.

Verse 12, are you ready? If you want to mark it, lest when thou hast eaten and art full and thou hast built goodly houses and dwell therein, and when your herds and your flocks multiply and your silver and your gold is multiplied and all that you have is multiplied. Here, listen to what I’m saying, God says, verse 14, then, nine heart, be lifted up, and you forget the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage, who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein there were fiery serpents and scorpions and drought, where there was no water who brought the fourth water out of the rock of Flint, who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not that he might humble thee, that he might prove the test the, to do the good at thy letter end.

In verse 17, here’s what you might say when you have prosperity, which you’re not used to. Thou shall stay in thine heart. My power and the might of my hand have got me this wealth. But thou shall remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth the power to what? Okay, well, it’s God who gives you that power, that ability, that he may establish his covenant, which he swear unto thy fathers, as it is his day. And it shall be, if at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

And the nations which the Lord God destroyed before your face, so shall ye perish, because you would not be obedient to the voice of the Lord your God. Good lesson in it. He says, be careful when things are going good that you don’t forget the God who enables you to have that good and allow you to prosper and to have a good home and to have your flocks and your herds multiply and everything go well for you. Be careful that you don’t forget God that it’s He that gives you your health, your wealth, your ability to breathe, your every breath comes from the living God.

So we need to thank God every day for what He has given to us and never think that we ourselves brought that about. So let’s go back now to chapter 4 of Daniel on page 905 and here it says Whereas verse 26 they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots like kingdom shall be sure unto thee After thou shall have known That the heavens do rule so once you get through this experience God will bring you back or allow you to rule over your kingdom once again Verse 27, wherefore king that my counsel be acceptable into the break off your sins by righteousness and thy in iniquities by showing mercy to the poor and if it be a lengthening of thy tranquility.

So here’s some good advice. What does he say? Break off your sins and live righteously. He says, get rid of your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor and so on that God might choose to lengthen your peaceful time of rule and what you’re enjoying now as God has prospered you, that it may be a lengthening of thy trend quality. Verse 28, all this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. Remember, Nebuchadnezzar is giving his testimony, he’s telling you, here’s what happened.

He says, I was in my house at rest, verse four, and I was flourishing in my palace. And then I had this dream, and it really shook me up. And he wanted to know what the answer was. Be sure to tune in to another edition of Bibleline from Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida. Jesus paid it all all to Him. I owe sin that left a crimson stain. But he washed it. Has widest note. We have no part but to receive it when we simply trust Christ as our Savior. God saves us and we’re saved eternally. The next phrase here in 2 Corinthians 5 and 19 says, He is not imputing their trespasses unto them.

Whoa! . Most preachers don’t preach like that, do they? They’re always pointing their finger and saying, if you do this, you’ll go to hell. If you do that, you’ll go to hell. If you do the other thing, you’ll go to hell. And guess what? Jesus paid for every sin you’d ever commit past, present, and feature, and He’s not charging those sins against you. There’s only one sin that can cause you to go to hell. That’s the sin of unbelief, the sin of rejection of Christ.

What is called the unpardonable sin? to reject to Christ is. We talked about that this week on Part of the sin that blessed me against the Holy Spirit. It was to say that Jesus Christ healed by the power of Satan and not by the power of the Holy Spirit. And they were in danger of eternal damnation and committing the sin that would never be forgivable. It says in Mark 3.30 because they said because they said he Christ has an unclean spirit.

So to say that Christ was not God in flesh, that Jesus Christ was a man healing by Satan’s power, a rejection of who Christ is, is the unpardonable sin that would function to be lost and go to hell forever and ever and ever. What we find here that God is not charging your sins against you. Now if you die, rejecting Christ who is the only provision for your sin, yes, you’ll stand before God and all those sins and those sins will cause you to be condemned to go to hell forever and ever and ever.

But you don’t go to hell because you smoke or drink or whatever bad habits you might have. I tell people that smoking doesn’t send you to hell. Now people in hell will smoke, but they don’t go to hell because they smoke. You follow? In other words, when you trust Christ, you become saved. But if you die as an unbeliever, You go to hell because you have rejected Christ, not because you smoked or lied or cheated or stole every one of us or sinners.

Every one of us of sin can show to the glory of God. And Christ has paid for every sin you had ever committed in your whole lifetime past, present and future. And when you trust Him, God saves you. Well, that’s the wonderful ministry that you and I have. We’re all to tell our family and our friends about Jesus and how He has paid our sin debt in full at the cross. He paid it all all to him. I owe sin had left to crimson stain, but he washed it as white as snow.

And I can come just as I am without one plea that his blood was shed for me. And when I trust him in his shed blood is the means of my salvation. God saves me. We have some great tracks called am I going to heaven in Spanish, two different ones in English that really work. People get saved through these tracks all the time. If you’re looking for a tool for evangelism, this track has everything in it. It has the verses you need all printed out.

It has a nice flow and it gets you right on topic and keeps you there. And we’ll bring a person to Christ. We’ve had many reports of people getting saved that have just been handed one of these tracks and they, if they read it and their minds are turned on, the gospels there, many people get saved just by being able to read the track. If you just give it out, there’s a good chance you’re going to get somebody saved.

And so you might want to get some of those. We have many people using them and are using them with great success. Again, we have to run, keep looking up, Jesus is coming, and I hope you tell your friends about Bibleline. God bless, keep looking up, Jesus is coming, and we believe He’s coming soon.
