Now ifgnu can, please open your Bibles to the Book of Daniel, chapter 8 and join us for Dr. Lindstrom’s teaching for today. I’m going to have you go all the way over to the Book of Revelation. Let’s go to chapter 13 again. We were there just a moment ago. If you’ll notice here, when it talks about the Antichrist and his kingdom, which we said would be the 11th nation, page 1341. It says here in verse 1, I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I believe the sea is the Mediterranean where these empires have risen up.

And I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns and upon his horns ten crowns and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. That is the kingdom of the Antichrist rising up out of what was ancient Rome. And notice verse two, and the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard. Now the leopard was a picture of the Grecian Empire and the fact that it conquered so swiftly like a leopard. A leopard is really quick and an animal has difficulty escaping its swiftness.

And the United States certainly has that swiftness too, doesn’t it? We’re able to move equipment and military men, our soldiers across oceans into the battlefield rather quickly, aren’t we? It’s amazing how that if you were to go back to the time of Columbus, my goodness, it would take months and months and months for your soldiers to get to where they were going. And then unless you have the battlefield commander right there, you couldn’t control it. But look at how we were able to run, at least for a great portion of the war in Iraq, we ran it right here from Tampa, right here from the command center down here.

Isn’t that amazing? So they’re able to run the war halfway around the world right from a control center right here. we live in and the fact that they can react quickly to the conditions as they arise. Then it says in verse 2 of Revelation 13, his feet were as the feet of a bear. That was the picture given there in Daniel 7 of the Medo-Persian Empire. And the Antichrist Kingdom will have all of these qualities Of all the previous empires that kind of come together to form the total image which never can ever dream about in chapter 2.

And then notice his mouth was as the mouth of a what? Lion. And that was a picture of the Babylonian Empire. And we find that all the qualities of the Babylonian Empire, the Mino-Persian Empire, the Grecian Empire, here seen as the lion, the bear, and the leopard are the same qualities that the in-time form of government that the Antichrist Christ controls will have. And notice it says here in the Veterin, if you Chocobo here in the last class is identified clearly as Satan in Revelation 12 verse 9, gave him, that is the Antichrist, his power, and his seat, which means his throne and great authority.

So the Antichrist is going to have, in a sense, a throne. He’s going to rule over the Western world and we’re going to learn he’ll do it from Jerusalem as Jesus will one day rule over the earth from Jerusalem the Antichrist the well also attempt to rule the western world from Jerusalem. What is interesting is that our United States has made deals so that we can have command centers in the Middle East because they know that the troubles in the future will be there and so we’ve made deals There are a lot of times where the city of New Zealand is going to be there and they’re talking all the time.

Rumsfield talked about it all the time about having what happens at Big Deal actually happened on location over there in the Middle East. And of course the Antichrist will move the seat of his authority from this country to Jerusalem and will attempt to rule the Western world, the United States and Europe as a dictator from Jerusalem. And he will have very powerful control. And his image will be placed in the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. says here in verse 3, I saw one of his heads as it were wounded unto death.

And there are several different ideas, but one of these, of course, is that these heads, the seven heads represent seven world kingdoms or world powers. Let’s go over now to chapter 17, and I want to pick up on that in relationship to the five world powers that Daniel saw happening in advance. We have here a great summary by the apostle John where he drops us all the way back even before the Babylonian Empire and takes us right to the very end and the kingdom of the Antichrist.

Look at you will at verse 9 where it says, here is the mind which have wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman siteth. Now, the seven heads have a dual meaning. They are, first of all, seven, it should read hills rather than mountains, but it refers here to a woman which is the religious system of the tribulation period which will be a false system called the woman and that religious system is seated in Rome, a city built upon seven hills.

Notice verse 18 says, the woman which saw us is that great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth and that is in the spiritual way. They rule over the nations of the earth as Rome has great power among the nations and The woman is a city, and the woman is a city built upon seven, not mountains, but hills. Rome is famous for being built upon seven hills. Then it says, there’s another meaning in verse 10. There are seven kings or seven kingdoms.

Now when John writes this in AD 96, when he writes the book of Revelation, he says, ever fallen and one is. Well, the one that is is the Roman Empire that was in charge of the world when John writes the book of Revelation in 1896. One of the five empires that were already fallen. Are you ready to write them down? Egypt, that takes us all the way back to Genesis, chapter 11 and 12, where the nations were founded and we have Egypt is a major world power right there at the very beginning.

Abraham goes to the Promised Land. There’s famine and he runs down to a 7-11 in Egypt to get food. Not quite exactly, but he went to Egypt. That was a major power. And of course, what happened is that later, they went down under the famine of Jacob’s son, Joseph, and they remained there. They He went down there and stayed there for 430 years as slaves, and then Moses led them out into the Promised Land. So it was a major one.

The second one was Assyria. Playing a major role as a Gentile world power, again impacting Israel. Egypt impacted Israel and they were slaves and captives and Moses delivered them and came out. Then later Assyria took the 10 northern tribes of Israel and carried them away captive and only the two remaining tribes, Judah and Benjamin, remained until Nebuchadnezzar came against them. So Assyria, a major player, Gentile power that affected Israel. And then the Babylonian Empire, which is where Daniel picks up, and then there was the Medo-Persian Empire and the Grecian Empire.

Those are the five that are fallen. Did you get them? Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, the Medes and the Persians, and in Greece. Those are the five world powers that were fallen. Thank you for joining us. I’m Corrie, just want to… Good. I’ve recently, as I don’t know if I’m saying I would say it right because I’ve been listening to the air. But I recently accepted, you know, the Lord of Must Savior and tried to do what, you know, listen to the preacher and try to live my life.

As I’m listening to you, you say that because you confess your sins and repent and believe that Jesus, you know, dies for my sins. And I’m not saved if I don’t. I’m kind of confused because you’re saying, not a Christ. It depends on what you’re trusting in. Now, if the preacher defines repent as turning from sin and you think that you’re turning from sin saved, then you’re not saved. Or if you are told that you have to confess your sins to be saved and you’re saying, well, I’m saved because I confess my sins, you’re not going to be saved.

It has nothing to do with turning from sin or joining the church or confessing your sin. It has to do with nothing that you would do for God, but it’s what God did for you in Christ. And when you trust Christ and Him alone, then God saves you. So I don’t know if you’ve trusted Christ and Christ alone or not, but if you’re counting on those other things that oftentimes preachers say for you to do, then you’ll not be saved because you’re adding to what the Bible says is required of salvation and that is nothing on our part.

It says it’s not of yourself, Ephesians 2, 8. It’s the gift of God. It’s not of works. Let’s see any man should boast or brag. So if there was one thing that you could do and say, well, boy, I confess my sins. Or I turned from some of my sins. Or I united with the church. Then you can brag about that. But God says, there’s nothing you can do. It’s not of yourself. It’s not from yourself. It is not of works.

Let’s do should boast or brag. It’s all of God. And when you trust in the finished work of Christ, then God saves you by mercy, by unmerited favor which grace is the absence of any works or any merit on your part. The hymn writer got it right when he said, Just as I Am I Come, without one plea, not confession, not turning from sin, not anything we would do. It is the gift of God and when you trust Christ and Christ will end in your same.

When you say trust, when you say trust and that he got it, what are I need? The word that’s translated and believed in the New Testament is the Greek word pustuo, P-I-S-T-E-U-O, and it means to trust or to rely upon or put your confidence in or to rest your weight upon. It’s just, I don’t know if you’re sitting down right now, but you are, obviously, if you are sitting down. . . . . . . . … resting your weight upon that chair or that sofa or whatever you’re sitting on and trusting it to keep you from crashing to the floor and you just put your confidence in it.

And there’s no effort on your part. You just relax and lay your weight down on the chair or on the sofa and it holds you up. When you put your trust in Christ you just relax and trust and put your confidence in Him as the only means by which you’re going to be saved then you’re saved … Relax and lay your weight down on the chair or on the sofa and it holds you up. When you put your trust in Christ, you just relax and trust and put your confidence in Him as the only means by which you’re going to be saved, then you’re saved.

For salvation’s concern, there’s nothing that you can add or do at all. All you have to do is trust Christ as the one who made the complete and final payment for your sin at the cross. When Jesus said on the cross, it is finished. That’s indeed what he meant. The payment for your sin was completed, finished, done, and there’s nothing else for you to do but receive it by trusting Christ as your Savior. I have a CD I’d like to send to you that I think will help clarify all this and I’m going to give you back to my operator if you will give him your addressable mail that’s out to you for your charge.

Okay I appreciate it because I’m having, I mean I’m just hearing different you know, different parts of your future than it gets kind of confusing. Well it is. I know what I want to do with my life, I mean I want to save but it’s just, you know, sometimes it’s confusing because you hear many different stories and one preacher’s home and you can be saved you can repent your sin but you’re not saved unless you’re your backside another person said no if that sizing has nothing to do with it I don’t know yes it is a it’s sad really because the Bible is very clear though that Ephesians 2 8 9 by grace which means mercy on Meredith favor are you saved through faith in Christ this it says in the next phrase this salvation is not of yourself it is the gift of God it’s not of works list any man should boast or

or brag. And so when you simply trust Jesus, you become saved. And it’s that simple. I’m going to give you back to my operator and he’ll get your address and we’ll send this out to you. Okay, we’re now going to go to Jimmy in Tampa, Florida. Jimmy, welcome to Bible and you’re on the air. Okay, good morning. Hello there. Good morning, Dr. Anstom. Yes. I have a question about Samson. The act that he committed when he was tied to the two posts, he asked God that he might to be able to advance.

Now that act, is that an act of suicide as well as I’m curious about that? Well obviously he brought down the house on himself and on his enemies as well. So yes he did commit suicide but he was still saved and obviously suicide is not the impartable But certainly God doesn’t want you to take your own life. But in this case, he was going to die Anyway, but he wanted to in his death Be able tovenge his enemies and so God allowed him to do that So there was a negative suicide.

Yeah, it certainly was. Okay, cuz I see he’s also yeah, and Hebrews 11. Absolutely Okay, can you answer another quick question for me? This is about Moses. Since Moses spoke with God and saw God, can he be considered also as an apostle commissioned by God to do a work? Well, you could probably say that, but actually the word apostle is a New Testament word and we have the prophets in the Old Testament and he was one of the greatest prophets.

But then in the New Testament we have apostles and so it’s, you know, the word apostle actually means literally a sent one. Of course Moses was a sent one so we could probably apply that. But to try to stay with the biblical terms, we would stay with calling Moses a prophet. And then the apostles are those who were those twelve that Christ chose to be the ones to give out the gospel to be the first line of getting it out to the world.

Okay. Okay, Dr. Munish, thank you very much. I enjoy you. Have a good weekend. same to you Jimmy and that was Jimmy and Tampa, Florida calling in. We’re now going to go to Rick in Palm Harbor and Rick. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. Lindstrom. I was going to call you about Ecclesiastes 11.1, but a lot of people beat me. I have a question about Daniel 7.8. You were talking about that several days ago. When you were mentioning that, you thought the little horn was America.

I believe it’s a nation and I believe it’s the Antichrist that they are so connected. connected that they’re seen as the, both of them as the little horn. 172 and it seems to imply there by the little horn and animal that’s younger than the older ten horns, which obviously Europe has been around for over two thousand years. But we’re the young upstart nation that is the little horn that is younger than and stronger than Europe that has been birthed by Europe.

And I think we’re the only country in the world that could meet that description. So I believe, yes indeed, we are the little horn. I agree with you. And tremble, I was wondering if that’s the case. It talks about the little horn defeating three nations out of the original ten. And I wonder if that could have possibly been Britain, France and Spain since they were the three countries that were vying for control of America when it was being formed.

Well, I think it’s future. I think in the tribulation period we’re going to take over Europe by military force and we’ll take over three countries. And if you want to do something fun, go on the internet and Google and put in EU3 and that, but those three things in EU and a 3 and you’ll come up with tons of websites that talk about the three key players in the European common market are Britain and France and Germany. And that’s where our military is.

And so it would be easy for an American president if he became the Antichrist to just say take them and those three countries will fall to their knees in a heartbeat. The rest of Europe say we give up and we would take over Europe in a heartbeat. So I think that’s what the scenario is. Europe and America together then would take over the entire Middle East and the Antich ITNESS way to try to control the world. Okay. Well that gets EU three.

EU three. Just put those three things in there. Just an E and a U and a three, the numeral three and you’re going to get lots of websites to talk about those three of the power player countries in Europe. Alright, thanks very much. Okay, and that was Rick and Paul Marber. We have Dave from Plant City, and Dave, welcome to Bible USL in the Air. Hello again, Dr. Hank. Should you explain Revelation 1920 and Revelation 2010 to me? To me, like, to be clarified for me, please, no, hang up.

Thanks. Well, you’re absolutely right. At the end of the seven-year tribulation period, which begins at the rapture, at the The end of that Christ comes back and he throws the antichrist and the false prophet into the everlasting lake of fire. And we find then at the end of the millennium that Satan joins them and it says the devil that deceived them in chapter 20 verse 10 was cast into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet are.

So they are already there. And this is all Satan’s Trinity. If you look at chapter 28 verse 10, you’ll find that you have Satan, you have the Beast, which is the Antichrist, the Antichrist, and you have the False Prophet, which is the Antichrist of the Holy Spirit. So you have Satan’s Trinity, all to one verse, and there are a number of verses in Revelation that have those three members of the Satanic Trinity, but they’re all cast into hell, but the False Prophet and the Beast are first in.

I hope that helps, and thank you, Dave, for coming today. We hope that you’re learning with us as we listen to this question and answer segment featuring Dr. Hank Lindstrom. If you’d like to hear today’s program again, then please visit our website at BibleLineMinistries.org. Once again, that’s BibleLineMinistries.org. We hope that you’ll visit our website often and please tell your friends and family about Bibleline. It’s time for us to take a short break now. When we return, we will continue this question and answer segment and then hear more Bible teaching from Dr. Hank Lynch.

We have a question here, and I’ll just go ahead and take some time to answer this now early. This is from Tim and he’s in Lake Worth, Florida, and he says I’m preparing for my Sunday school class and he’s having a tough time with Matthew 25 31 through 46. This is called the judgment of the nations and it talks about Jesus 7 years after the rapture, coming back in all of his power and all of his glory, and it says in verse 31 of Matthew 25, when the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.

Well, we know the throne of his glory is in the temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. And when Christ comes back in all of his glory, that’s the second coming, not the rapture. When Christ comes at the rapture, no one sees it, and the angels don’t come with him. He comes by himself according to 1 Thessalonians 4, 16. But here he comes with all of his glory and with all of his angels and then he will sit and that’s when he will be here on the earth for a thousand years as the king of kings and the Lord of lords.

And right at the very beginning of that millennial kingdom he will gather all the nations before him. The angels are sent out according to Matthew 13 and also Matthew 24 and they will assist. They’ll gather up all the unsaved. Those are called the goats, and they’ll be placed on his right hand. And all the sheep, which are the believers, will be placed on his right hand. And here they’ll be separated, the sheep from the goats. And he will say to the sheep on his right hand, then show the king, verse 34, say unto those on his right hand, come ye blessed are my father, and here at the king, prepared for you from the foundation of the earth.

These are the saved. Then in verse 41, he says to the goats on his left hand, depart from a cursed and everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angeldescription. So here the goats of the lost, the sheep are the saved. And of course the question usually arises, what about these deeds that are mentioned here and then we find as Christ is addressing the sheep. He says, I was hungry you gave mePopulation. I was thirsty. You gave me drink.

I was a stranger and you took me in. Make it you clothed me. I was sick. You visited me. I was in prison. And you came under me. Verse 37 says, then shall the righteous. That’s a very key word. The righteous. In Romans 3, 10. It says, as it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. So according to the Bible, there’s nobody righteous, not one person righteous. Jesus said it over in Matthew chapter 19, he says, there’s none that is good, but one, and that is God.

So every one of us are sinners, we’ve all come short of the glory of God, but yet there are those who are called righteous and how can that be? Well, that’s because Jesus Christ substituted himself in our place. And at the cross of Calvary, He paid our sin debt in full so that this exchange that it took place that took place at the cross of Calvary is where God placed our sins upon Christ and Christ became sin for us so that we might be He made the very righteousness of God in Him.

So the believer has an imputed righteousness which God imputes righteousness to the account of the believer and so the believers are considered righteous. These are obviously righteous because they have believed on Christ and that’s why they are the sheep and why the goats are not the sheep because the goats did not trust Christ the Savior and they’re described as the unrighteous. Again, if you can help us financially, we are totally listeners supported. We don’t have any other means of support and we would appreciate hearing from you in that way because we have no other way to be able to stay on the air.

So to continue and to grow and to reach forward, we need your help. So please, please consider giving a gift. Bibleline and certainly we thank you for praying for us. If you would do that we’d be very happy. Anyway, we are going to go back to the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour Bibleline. So here we go. We’re going to do Bibleline in the second half hour right now. Would you like to help Bibleline continue in your area?

We hope that you’re learning with us as we listen to real-life questions and scriptural answers from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Have you been able to join us for Dr. Lindstrom’s teaching series on the Book of Daniel? This series covers a variety of topics from the Book of Daniel, such as Nebuchadnezzar’s The Firey Furnace, the handwriting on the wall, the lion’s den, Daniel’s many visions and their interpretations in addition to many exciting prophecies.

We hope that you will plan to join us and open your Bible for our verse by verse study of the Book of Daniel. If you have missed any of the teachings in this series, please call our Resource Center at 1-800-576-3771. Now please join us as we return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll return to more Bibleline teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Well we’re going to go first to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and we have Tony there from Pittsburgh and Tony welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

Okay, are you going to hang? Good Tony. uh… i was out there calling me before and that there but uh… i was out good friend of mine and i was talking about we’re talking about jesus only and i was telling them up that uh… jesus only they believe you got it going to water to be saving at the end of that whatever bebound work and at the end of the church like i had ten and i thought i’d try to hang it up with them but they they always they say this and they say you have salvation but you have to keep it.

And I said how can a man keep it and they sing songs like if you live right you make it and I then and I went to some cryptos I went to Romans 9 30 and 31 and I said to myself I said I don’t know I said let me call Hank and say it’s no way they can have salvation if they believe they can work but like people like you have a buddy man listen to you the parents they don’t listen to guys like that they’re good they are you go straight to hell on that there so they got to be cheeses alone right absolutely jesus alone for salvation our works have nothing to do with it in fact they’re filthy rags according to i think of sixty four six and the bible says that there is no man who can redeem himself that’s

That’s why we needed a Savior who would redeem us, and Christ is the one who paid the purchase price. And the Bible tells us that once we become saved, nothing can undo what God has done. Romans 8, 38, and 39 are a couple of favorites of mine. Paul says, I’m persuaded. That means thoroughly convinced that neither death or life nor angels nor principalities or things present or things to come nor height nor death nor any other creation shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.

There’s nothing that can undo the salvation that you receive at the moment you believe it’s forever. And Jesus says in Hebrews 13 5 I’ll never leave you. That means never. So if you ever did go to hell, Christ would have to go to hell with you because he said he’d never leave you. I believe that one had everything else and that life is better than me but I always say they get up and give great testimony. The only testimony I can give them say, I mean, I always say, I’m going by the grace in his mercy and it looks like you say grace and mercy look like they get mad.

I know well you just have to keep chipping away and say that if you’re trying to be saved by your works you will not be saved and unfortunately a lot of people are going to be in that category because the crisis is not their savior if they’re saving themselves by their works and by their being baptized and all those other things that they do. Tony I’ll be praying for you. God bless you. Thank you. You know I’m hanging there.

color now from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We have Vivian. And Vivian, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Oh, hello. I just had to call you. You said a couple times you felt the Antichrist would be an American and I wanted to know why you felt that way and I have another question. Well, I believe the United States is the key country here in the last days and I believe it’s mentioned in Daniel seven verse eight along with many other verses but this is a clear one.

It talks about ten nations that were part of ancient Europe that would come together in the last days and I think we’ve seen that in the European common market. Then it talks about another nation, that means an eleventh one, and it is called the Little Horn, which means it’s younger than and yet it is described there as being stronger than the ten nations that birth this eleventh nation. We’re the only nation in the world that has been birthed by Europe that’s younger than stronger than Europe and we are, I believe, the 11th nation.

Now the leader of that 11th nation is also called a little horn and that is a title for the Antichrist. And so I believe he comes right out of this country and I think most people are looking in all the wrong places for the Antichrist so they’re not going to ever even suspect who he is because they’re looking in the wrong place. He’s coming right out of this country. But doesn’t it say in scripture that the anti-Christ will come from the revised Roman Empire?

Well guess what the revived Roman Empire has spawned an 11th baby country the US of 8 that’s what Daniel 7 8 is talking about we are the extension of the Roman Empire We’re Roman here in government and everything else our Congress our Where the Congress meets is built on purpose in the shape of the Pantheon, which is in Rome It’s Roman in shape that dome on the capital is is a absolute perfect replica of the shape of the Pantheon in Rome Well, you answered all my questions.

Thank you very much. You’re very welcome and God bless you Joe In Pimbroke Pines writes in and gives this off air question, there are many prison ministries praise God, but I believe that there are many police and deputies also that need to trust the Lord. How can I approach them with the gospel? I want to reach them. Well, I think there are different ways you can possibly do that. And of course, we know the police forces have their own chaplains.

you can work toward becoming one where you counsel with police officers and are able to share with them and minister to them as an official police chaplain. I know I’ve had the opportunity to be asked to do that, but I’ve never had time to do that. But I think your desire there is wonderful and obviously these men serve under a lot of stress and go through and see some things that are quite horrific and certainly need the Lord and they need to get saved like everybody else.

And so I think that’s a wonderful goal and there are different ways and you might do some more inquiring and I’m sure that there are other means by which you can focus your witness toward law enforcement and try to lead these fellows to Christ, they certainly need the Lord as their Savior. Now going to Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida. Matthew, welcome to Bibleline your on the earth. Good morning pastor. Colossians 123. Someone use that as proof for Calvinism. Perseverance of the Saints.

Can you talk about that a little bit? All right, we’ll do that. Actually, this is talking about the Christian life. And yes, if you continue in the faith, then you’re going to be found blameless and receive rewards when you stand before the Lord, which is what it’s talking about. It’s not talking about whether you’re saved or not. It’s talking about that God wants you to be presented before Him in such a state that He can reward you. In other words, we’re going to give an account for everything we’ve done since we’ve been saved.

And if we live faithfully for the Lord and continue as it says there, then God, when He judges you won’t find fault but will reward you for the service that you’ve given to him and that’s what it’s talking about but if you didn’t serve award you would still be safe in 1st Corinthians 3 15 where it talks about the judgment that Colossians is also talking about The judgmental seat of Christ were believers only. It says, if any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire.

So we find that even if everything you did was not for Christ and it were all burn up, you’d still be saved. So it doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t be saved. And it doesn’t, of course, support the false doctrine of Calvinism of the perseverance of the saints, that you have to persevere till the end of your life in order to have had saving faith and therefore be saved. That is certainly a man-made doctrine and not taught in the Bible.

Many, many believers go in a negative direction after they become saved. All you have to do is read 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians, my goodness. What a crowd of believers those people were. And Paul writes these lengthy letters to try to get them back on track get them to live for the Lord, and certainly every believer ought to live for the Lord, but this was a crowd that was not living for the Lord. So he tells the Corinthian believers in 1 Corinthians 5 that those that are believers but are not living for Christ, you ought to disfellowship yourself with them.

It says in verse 10, you are yet not altogether with the forticators of this world and so on and so on. He’s telling us here, I’ve written unto you in verse 11 not to keep company if any man that is called a brother, that is a Christian, be a fornicator or covetous or an adult or a rarler or drunkard or extortioner says don’t sit down and eat with these people. Obviously they were doing all those things in Corinth and the chapter begins with a man living in fortication with his mother or stepmother.

So obviously God is speaking to these people in this particular book of 1st Corinthians 2 Corinthians about getting their lives in order and living for Christ that they’re going to have to give an account and how that they will be judged one day for one of the things that they’ve done and plus the Lord will chase in them and we have the chastening of God really emphasized a lot in the Corinthian Epistles because God will spank that the link would believe her and he might even take you home to heaven early and so that is a very significant fact.

I hope that you have trusted Jesus as your Savior and I know we find that people get confused as the one lady said a few minutes ago that one preacher said you had to be baptized another one said you didn’t have to be baptized another one said you had to confess your sins another one said you had to repent or turn from your sin. There’s only one thing, Acts 1631, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

So when you believe, the word means from the Greek to trust. Christ, as your only hope of heaven, God saves you. And it’s that simple. And people stumble over the fact that it’s simple and the Bible says that that is exactly the tactic the Satan would use is to cause the fact that it’s simple to cause people to not believe it it’s just too simple it seems for some people and it’s important that you trust Jesus and Jesus the Lord as your Savior This wraps up today’s question and answer segment about the Bible featuring Dr.

Hank Lindstrom we hope that you’ve enjoyed it and that you are growing in your knowledge about the Word of God As believers in Jesus, there is no other topic that is more important to us than the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it was Dr. Hank Lindstrom’s mission to spread the gospel. Now please join us as we continue the Book of Daniel teaching series from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Those are the five that are followed.

Did you get them? Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, the Medes and the Persians, and then Greece. Those are the five world powers that were followed. is saying here at the time he writes the book of Revelation one is and that’s Rome. Then he says, the other is not yet come. The one that had not yet come is the ten horns. which are the ten toes of the image of Daniel, of the New Testament, chapter two of Daniel. And these are the nations of ancient Rome that come back together in an alliance in the last day.

Now notice it says in verse, and that would be the seventh, Rome was number six. And then the one that comes up in the last days, the ten horns or ten toes is Rome or Europe coming back. coming back together. And then it says in verse 11, and the beast that was and is not even he is what? The eighth. Now, maybe you hadn’t heard eighth before. But what happens as the tribulation period comes to pass, that Europe has come together.

But in the middle, the Antichrist takes over Europe and puts up three by the roots that we just studied in Chapter 7 of Daniel. And now the 11th nation, the United States controlling Europe, that is the 8th world power. And we’ll include all the territories that they want to be controlling, which will mean all of the Middle East, including Israel and all of what was ancient Assyria. So we have here five fallen and then Rome was existed when John wrote.

He said the next This one is the seventh world power and that is Europe and then the United States takes over Europe in the middle and that becomes the eighth power. That is the peace, the kingdom of the Antichrist and he’s here called the beast. Notice and the beast that was and is not even he is the eighth. So when he controls the seventh which is only for the three and a half years, it’s already I think happened but during the first three and a half years, Europe will remain pretty much intact and then in the middle the Christ will take him over.

And then the eighth world power is Europe under the control of the United States. And then it says here even he is the eighth and is of the of the seven which obviously he’s a derivative. All these world powers are really from the west and are under the are will come piled together or come together and become this eighth world power. And notice, He is of the seven and goeth into what? Perdition or hell. So this last world ruler is the one that will be confronted by Christ directly, and Christ will obviously take the Antichrist and cast Him into hell.

Now we see that in Revelation 19 verse 20, where the Antichrist will be defeated by Christ at the the Battle of Armageddon and he and the false prophet will be both cast alive into the everlasting like a fire. Notice what it says in verse 12, the 10 horns which were particularly interested in, which those saw us are 10 kingdoms which have received no kingdom as yet. Obviously Rome kind of withered and just kind of died out, but in the future, John said at the time he was writing this, there were not these 10 individual nations.

You know, Europe kind of got broken up into individual nations, which couldn’t get along. And who would have ever imagined they would unite different languages, different currencies, different cultures. And you would think, how in the world could they ever come together? And that’s why in the image of Daniel that we saw in chapter 2, it said, there were partly iron and partly In other words, they didn’t really come together, it was good. If it was totally iron, you could see how they’d come together or totally clay, partly iron, partly clay.

In other words, they just didn’t really mix right yet. They come together and they come together as a union and that’s what we’re seeing right now in Europe. And then we find here that they come under the control of the 11th nation, which nobody seems to be talking about in Bible prophecy. I don’t know how they miss it, but notice here we have ten horns, which now saws their ten kings or kingdoms. They have not received the kingdom as yet when John wrote, but shall receive power as kings one hour.

It should read one season, and it’s only three and a half years that they will have this power together with the Antichrist. Verse 13, they have one mind and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. He is the 11th nation and the spokesperson for the 11th nation. So here you have the 11, too. You have ten horns and then you have the beast. And notice the ten will give their authority and power over to the 11th, which is the United States.

And notice these nations under his control, these shall make war with the Lamb. Now who is the Lamb? Lamb is Jesus. We saw that in Isaiah 16. We see it here. He’s the fulfillment of the Passover Lamb. But these shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall what? Overcome them. Let me just stop for a moment. Roman Catholics do not see themselves in this chapter, although this chapter really nails them. If I have several Roman Catholic Bibles on my shelf and they’ll say that this is talking about Rome in this chapter.

But they have the preters view or the historic view of the book of Revelation. They believe it was all fulfilled in AD 64 with Nero and the Romans coming in and so on. And those same beliefs that came out of the 5th century, you know, theology that came all the way down until today in Roman Catholic theology came through the Reformation, through many of the Reformation churches where they believe that all of this is passed. And of course, Hank Hennigraff says that all the book of Revelation was filled in the first century.

The Roman Catholic Church is where he got that. He made me as an admit to that. But the Roman Catholic Church has taught that since Augustine in the fifth century. That all of Revelation is historic. It’s all over. It’s already done. And the Presbyterians obviously adherent Rather recently, in the end of last year, they voted to decide with the Palestinians against }” because they believe Israel is all done, because they have this historic view that Christ has already returned and we’re alreadyDOC.”

And that’s what the Roman Catholic Church teaches as well. Alright, here is my question I like to pose to those which they can’t answer. Do you remember in your history books, anytime in history, 87 years before, when the Roman Ten nations under the control of the beast to antichrist make war with Jesus and Jesus won the battle. Do you remember that war? No it hadn’t happened yet. I don’t ever going to hate Jesus Christ and losing. I mean this is still future is what I’m saying.

All of this is still future. But I believe in the very near future because I believe we’re getting very very return of Christ. So says, these shall make war with the Lamb and the Lamb shall what overcome them, for he is what? Lord of Lords and King of Kings, and they that are with him. That’s us who are caught up at the rapture and come back within seven years later, the second coming, and they that are with him are called and chosen and faithful.

That’s when Christ comes back. We’re going to rule and reign with him, and he’ll rule as King of Kings and Lord of Lords of the whole earth. It obviously has not happened. So anybody who tries to tell you that Revelation 17 has already happened is obviously not connected to reality. This battle has never occurred. These are obviously righteous because they have believed on Christ and that’s why they are the sheep and why the goats are not the sheep because the goats did not trust Christ as Savior and they’re described as the unrighteous.

Well it says here that the righteous answered and they said Lord Lord, when did we see you hungry and fed thee and thirsty and gave you drink. And when, say, Saul, you as a stranger took you in and naked and clothed thee. And when do we see you sick and visit you in prison and come unto thee and so on? And the king shall say unto them, barely I say unto you, inasmuch as you have done unto one of the least of these, my brethren, you have done it unto me.

There’s a third group here that usually gets ignored when people talk about this passage and that is these that are called the brethren of Christ. We believe that this is the tribulation period after the rapture and during that seven years there will be 144,000 Jewish men that will do the evangelism during the tribulation period. And they’re all men and these are Christ’s brethren as Jesus Christ is God who took on Jewish flesh and so these that are related to Christ in the flesh, these 144,000 Jewish men will become martyred for their faith in Christ, but they will be obviously imprisoned and they’ll be obviously having a difficult time making it.

They’ll be naked in the clothing and they’ll be hungry and they’ll need to be fed. And guess who takes care of them? Well these that are righteous or these that are saved, they get savedhibit tribulation period and they get saved through the evangelism of these 144,000. So obviously they have compassion on these that have brought the gospel to them and so they visit them and they feed them and they clothe them and they care for them and so they treat them well, whereas the lost, the sheep have no compassion upon the hundred and four hundred thousand, but are probably just as glad that they’re gone, that they are imprisoned or that they die and so on, and become martyred.

And so the works that they do are not works to save them, which is obviously plain in the Bible because works cannot save us and our deeds are not able to bring us righteousness. Our best righteous deeds according to Isaiah 64, 6 are filthy rags. So obviously here these are sheep. These are the righteous. These are the believers that are grateful to the Jewish brothers in a sense of Christ who are evangelizing and brought the gospel to them so they can be saved.

And so that’s why they care for them, but they are not saved because they do that. They do it because they naturally do that. And notice they weren’t even aware that they were doing it. They said, when did this happen? When did we feed thee and so on? And he says, in as much as you’ve done it under the least of my brethren, you have done it under me. So Christ is talking about that. And so this is the judgment of the nations and what happens here.

All unbelievers are cast into the lake of fire. They are destroyed and the believers alone are then invited to come into the kingdom, the thousand year reign of Christ. And so the thousand years begins with all believers. All unbelievers, the goats are cast in the hell. For the goats to become sheep, they have to have a new birth. They have to become born again. They have to trust Jesus as their Savior, and obviously they don’t. Anybody who lives through the tribulation period and has not trusted Christ will not survive.

They will all be slain by Christ. And it’ll be cast into the everlasting lake of fire. And only believers will enter in to the money. God bless, keep looking up. Jesus is coming. And we believe He’s coming soon. You’ve been listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline Ministries of Tampa, Florida.
