Now please open your Bible to the Book of Revelation chapter 18 and join us as we begin Dr. Lynchroom’s teaching for today. What do we learn in verse 18? The woman is that great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

So here’s a city built upon seven hills. That’s no doubt Rome. It’s famous for being built upon seven hills. There’s a double meaning here and also the seven heads represent verse 10 seven kings or kingdoms Five or fallen one is and the others not yet come That takes us all the way back to Genesis 10 where the Babylonian religious system began and where the nations began We start with Egypt early on in Genesis being a major power Then we have the next one, number two of the five is Assyria.

Number three is Babylon, number four is the Medo-Persian Empire, and number five is Greece. Now John is saying five are fallen, those five are fallen. Egypt is Syria, Babylon, the Medo-Persian Empire and the Greece Empire were fallen when John writes the book of Revelation. He says one is, when John wrote this in 1896, what power was in power? It was the Roman Empire was in power. So one is presently, John says, as I write this book. And the others I had come.

The one that has now come is the revival of these European nations coming back together. And as the tribulation period begins, Europe will be united and we’ve seen that happen in our lifetimes. And then it says, when he cometh, he must continue a short space. the beast that was, as the Antichrist, and is not even he is the eighth and is of the seven. What does that say? When the Antichrist takes over the ten nations of Europe, that becomes the eighth power and is of the seven or is the seventh transformed into the eighth.

Now look at this very carefully in verse 12. And the ten horns which thou saw as for 10 kings or kingdoms which have not received power as yet. When John wrote, they had not yet come back together as he said they would, but they shall receive power as kings or kingdoms one hour. It should read season, one season with the Antichrist. Verse 13, are you ready? These have one mind and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

So here we have 11 nations just like we have in Daniel. The 10 nations of Europe will give their power to the 11th nation which is the beast. The beast coming out of the US of A, the younger, stronger, little horn that comes up out of the 10 nations, and notice the 10 will give their power over to the 11th, which is the beast. And so we have 11 nations, Europe and America combined under the control of the Antichrist.

Now look at verse 14. These 11 nations under the control of the Antichrist shall make war with Jesus, the Lamb. and the Lamb shall overcome them.” Now that’s future, isn’t it? I don’t ever remember reading in my history books where 11 nations fought against Jesus Christ and lost. Have you read that about that? No. This is still gonna happen. And we first see, as we see now, Europe coming together as a common group, a combination. But after the middle of the tribulation, the Antichrist will control Europe, And that’ll be the eighth world power, which is Europe and America combined.

And obviously, the Antichrist then will be on the road to control the whole world. He sets his palace in Jerusalem. Russia says, we can’t allow this to happen. China says, we can’t allow this to happen. Russia strikes at the Western leaders, military might, at Armageddon, and World War III is on its way. And Jesus comes back and these nations turn their weapons against Christ. Notice they shall make war with the Lamb. When Christ comes back to stop Armageddon, they fight against Christ.

And Christ defeats these nations, for he is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, and they that are with him are called and chosen and faithful. It says in verse 15, again, the waters which are sauced where the horses are the peoples and multitudes and nations in tongues. Verse 16, the 10 horns which thou sauced upon the beast, thee shall hate the whore and make her desolate and naked and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

Apparently the Antichrist, when he proclaims that he is God, in the temple in Jerusalem, which will be rebuilt, doesn’t want any competition and he destroys the Roman Catholic Church. So I believe Rome will burn. And I believe that if you want to see the Sistine Chapel and it works at Michelangelo, you need to go soon. Because once the raptures happen, you won’t have your opportunity and then after that, It’s going to be toast as God is going to have them destroy.

Look at verse 17, for God has put it in their hearts to fulfill His will and to agree and give their kingdom unto the beast and notice until the words of God should be fulfilled. And the woman which you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth. So we find that the religious system, the Roman Catholic Church will aid the Antichrist and has rise to power and help him ascend to the throne. But then once he’s in power, he’ll turn against the church and destroy it and proclaim that he’s God and demand to be worshiped as we find from the other passages.

And this is in the making right now before our very eyes. Before World War I, who would have ever dreamed that Europe would ever come together? You have all these different languages, all these different cultural backgrounds for 2,000 years and who would ever dream they would come together and unite and yet they have before our very eyes, haven’t they? At the same time, when the Treaty of Rome was signed in 1948, that was the beginning of the European community, in 1948 Israel became a nation on May 14th when they declared their statehood, all of these things happening at the same time, not by coincidence.

Europe coming together, at the same time Israel becomes a nation again for the first time, 1948, right after World War II, which set the stage for all this to take place. And now we’re watching it come to pass before our very eyes, and we can see the handwriting on the walls that were not too far away. Chapter 18. After these things, I saw another angel come down from heaven having great power, and the earth was lightened with his glory.

And he cried with a mighty strong voice, saying, Babylon, the greatest fallen, and it’s fallen, and has become the habitation of devils, and the whole of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations of drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. Schofield points out rightfully so that in chapter 17 we have the religious system called Babylon, which began in Genesis 10.

And in chapter 18 we have the political, commercial system of ancient Babylon, which is pretty much described by the fact that it is a system based on merchandise and trade, they become very rich as a result of it. You’ll notice as we jump down to verse. 11, the merchants of the earth shall weep over her when she’s destroyed for no man by her merchandise anymore. One of the countries that trade the countries of the world. Now the Western nations aren’t they?

And the countries that are associated with us, like Japan and Taiwan and so on. But mainline China and Russia, they’re trying to get into the play today. But actually the countries that really are best at trading and best at making money at it are the Western nations. of the nations that are under control of the Antichrist. And notice it mentions all the different kinds of things that are traded and sold and bought. This is like the Big Ebe, verse 12, the merchandise of what?

Gold of silver and precious stones of pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet, in all fine wood, in all manners of vessels of ivory, in all manners of vessels of most precious wood of brass and iron and marble and cinnamon, odors and ointments and frankincents and wine and oil and fine flour and wheat and beast and sheep and horses and chariots and slaves and the souls of men. The western world, which is this system of trading and buying and merchandising, is going to come to a halt at the return of Jesus Christ.

Lindstrom answering questions from callers. we have William in Tampa, Florida and William welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. Lissom. I’m a long time listener. I have a question to ask regarding, I was told that there was somewhere in the Bible where it speaks of a white stone in heaven with our name on it. That’s in Revelation chapter 2, right. When you get to heaven Christ is going to give a white stone to every believer. And apparently that’s a diamond.

And you know, we’re his bride. And the tradition when a couple get married is that the bride is given a diamond. And it comes right from that and out of the Bible. And apparently it’s gonna be a significant size rock because our name is gonna be engraved in it. Even us men, every one of us in this church age who are believers are the bride of Christ and we’re gonna get a white stone one day as Christ bride. So, but we don’t know what our name is gonna, we’ll be, well I guess we’ll have a different name than we have here on Earth.

I think we will, and I think some people, maybe you get to know their name in advance, you know Saul became Paul, Simon became Peter, Jacob became Israel, Abram became Abraham, Sarai became Sarah, and so I think that is an indication of what our new name might be. Okay. So it’s not going to be one of those Roman names. Oh no. No. But you know, just like, you know, when parents have a child, they have the privilege of being able to name their baby.

Right. And God, when we become born again, apparently gives us as he is our Heavenly Father and our parent. Will give us a new name. He has not right to give us a name that suits him. And so we’re, I’m sure going to be real happy with our new name. Right. Okay, thank you very much. You’re welcome William and that was William in Tampa, Florida calling in today I got a very nice letter here from a listener a Catholic listener and this Catholic listener says dear brother in Christ as I listen to your program today.

I realize that you have a misunderstanding of the teaching of the Catholic Church regarding salvation I hope this will help you to understand your Christian brothers a little better as Catholics we believe that we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us on Calvary. We believe also that we are saved by the works that He has assigned to us. Stop right there. That is what we call Lordship Salvation. That is not trusting Christ alone. That is adding to what Christ has done.

And that makes it according to the Bible and a cursed message. Because that is not the message that God has given. Christ said that He was the Savior alone, apart from anything else. Hebrews 1, 3, Christ by Himself purged our sins at the cross. And that means He paid for your past sins, your present sins, and your future sins. You know when Jesus said on the cross, it is finished. Those three English words that were one of the seven say.

prosecitialized mercial gave on the cross of Calvary. Laun NormallyFYGoldMagikarpquartered.561FACE This is a term that means paid in full. Full satisfaction received from the debt. Have you ever owed anything? DERR CLIENT.”,”Cruzrontal in full satisfaction received for the debt. Isn’t that a time to jump up and down and rejoice? Wow, paid, paid off. Wow, that’s something to rejoice over. And what Jesus said on the cross was that your sin debt, including all of your past, present, and future sins was paid for in full on the cross.

When He died on that cross, He paid your sin debt in full. Some people are looking at me kind of strange that I can see them right through the radio and they’re saying, wait a minute, what about those future sins? I haven’t even done those yet. How could you have paid for those? Stop, think. When Jesus died, you weren’t even born yet. So all of your sins were future, weren’t they? Jesus could see you in the future, see when you’d be born, see when you would die, see your whole lifetime, transpire, and take every sin that you would ever come in in your wholeblem and pay for them at the cross.

And because he made that full and complete payment for your sin, according to the Bible, we receive eternal life at the moment we believe. People that are trusting in Christ plus works generally say, well, I’m not sure. I’m hoping I’d like to. Perhaps maybe I’m working at it. I’d like to go to heaven. Wow, I hope God is lenient. I hope I can please the man upstairs. But you know what? According to the Bible. Jesus paid it all. And therefore, you don’t have to wait until after you die to find out whether you’re going to make it or not.

You simply trust Christ and He promised in His Word that you are forgiven. And therefore, because it’s already forgiven, He can offer you eternal life at the moment you believe. If our sins weren’t all totally paid for, then yes indeed you would have to wait until after you die. And that was what I was raised with. I was always led to believe there was a big scale. That when I would die, I’d be standing before God, and there would be the big scale, and there would be all these books.

And then they’d come to my case, and they would read off the good things I did and the bad things I did. Angels would attend. They would be applying weights to the scale to represent the good works that I did andinement the bad works that I did. And I’d sit there shaking, in fear and trembling, hoping that I had more good works to put on the scale than bad works. And I would hope that the scale would tip in my favor, and I would be able to be eligible in heaven.

Guess what? Not true, not biblical, not anywhere in the Bible. No where Krug does it ever tell us that there’s any kind of a scale where your works will be weighed. In fact, the Bible says in Ephesians 2-9, salvation is not a works list. Any man should boast. So salvation is not based upon works. Good works, bad works, it doesn’t matter. The word work is the same word that’s used in physics to be defined as any effort expended, which is a work.

And so God says, it’s not a works. Good works don’t get you to heaven. Bad works don’t send you to hell. Is that a shock? It was a shock for me because I was led to believe, good works got you to heaven, bad works in hell. I as a little boy because of that philosophy, trying to be a good little boy, especially the week before Christmas. But guess what? I found out, according to the Bible that there aren’t any good little boys, the Bible says for all have sinned and all have come short of the glory of God.

And by the way, that applies to girls as well. The Bible says all, men, women, children, everybody, has sinned and have come short of the glory of God. and by our works we could not be eligible in our heaven. God says it’s not by works, it’s not of works. And so to say that we have to, or that we’re saved by the works that He’s assigned to us is not true at all. That is not what the Bible teaches.

The Bible teaches Jesus paid it all. For God so loved the world that He gave has only been gotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. But in a cursed message, According to Galatians 1, is a perversion of the Gospel of Christ. All you have to do is alter it, change it a little bit, and that’s enough to cause it to be a perverted message, and that perverted message then becomes an accursed message.

And God says, the one who preaches it is accursed, and the one who believes it is accursed because you cannot be saved unless you come to God on His terms believing that He paid it all. I love verse 4 of Galatians 1. It says, Christ gave Himself. Christ gave Himself. He gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us from this present evil world. What a wonderful verse. Who gave Himself. For our sins. Not, you know, we don’t participate except to receive it.

He gave Himself for our sins, that He, not the two of us, or the church, or the works that you might do, but that He might deliver us from this present evil world. And you know, that’s the exact opposite of religion, and we’re talking about the Christian counterfeit, which I call the Christian religion, the word religion comes from two Latin words, re-enligio, it means to do something of self-debind back to God. And all religions have that in common and that they’re all false.

None of them can get you to heaven, including the Christian religion which also is based on works. The true message of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that Jesus paid it all and that God did for man what man could not do for himself. Religion teaches it’s what man does for God that will get him into heaven. And the Bible clearly tells us there’s nothing that you or I could do for God that would bring about our salvation. In fact, Isaiah 64, 6 says we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.

Filthy rags. Now I could imagine our sins being like filthy rags, but it says there that all of our righteousness says are as filthy rags. Incredible, isn’t it? And I’m going to say it. If you look up that word in the original, filthy rags, it really should be translated minstrel rags. That is the picture of the best and most righteous deeds that you and I have to offer God. A will not get you into heaven. They will not get you into heaven.

That’s why Savior was necessary. That’s why Christ came and died. If you and I could have done anything to be able to gain our salvation, then Christ could have stayed in heaven. He did not need to come and die, but He came and died because we needed a Savior. There was no other way. Jesus paid it all. And I’m pleading with people like the one who wrote this dear letter, and I love the spirit in which this letter was written.

It really is a letter to very kindly and gently correct me. But you know, I plead with this person because if they believe this message that they must also do works in addition to faith in Christ to be saved, then they will not be saved, not believing in faith that Jesus was fully capable of saving them without any of those works. That’s what the gospel is all about, believing that Christ not only could but would save all that would believe on Him.

Jesus said it in John 6, 47, He that believeth on me has present tense, everlasting life. I received that everlasting life when I was a teenager and I possessed it the next day, the next week, the next year, ten years from then, I still have it today and it’s something I’ll have all into eternity future because it’s eternal life that God has given me and I received it at the moment I believe. Let me quote a few guys, here’s Charles Ryrie which we’re recommending his book, The Balancing in the Christian Life.

Here’s a quote from his book. He says, it’s inexcusable error to confront sinners with problems that concern the Christian life and call upon them to make promises regarding them. An unsaved person has never called upon to surrender himself to God. The saving act in no instance represented as our giving ourselves to God. It is on the contrary taking his son, God’s son, as our Savior. Wow. Eternal life is free. It’s a gift. It’s paid for. Lots of people I think who think they are saved are going to be eternally lost.

Galatians 1, 4, let me read it again. Great verse, Christ gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us. Religion teaches the opposite that we deliver ourselves. Whereas Christ is the deliverer. Christ is the one who paid it all. We hope that you’re learning with us. As you listen to this question and answer segment featuring Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Wow, so many things are happening in the world right now. It leads us to believe that we’re getting close to the Lord’s return, especially as we watch Jerusalem. The Bible tells us that that is the city to keep your eye on. And of course we know that the temple was there. The first and second temples. The third temple will be rebuilt there. That’s where Jesus will come back to. and prior to his second coming after the Rapture, the Bible tells us all nations will come together against Jerusalem to battle.

So we need to look at Jerusalem and watch what’s happening in the Middle East. And right now it looks like they’re talking about war in the Middle East. We don’t know. Well there’s expecting to be a lot of fallout and of course Israel will be retaliated against and it looks like there’s a lot of talk on the internet about a potential war here coming up with Iran. So we know that the stage is being set for the Antichrist who is going to actually militarily take over all the core countries there of the Middle East.

And what will escape is a portion of land that is really modern day Jordan. Do you have your Bible there? Do you have it handy? Can you reach over and grab your Bible? Can you open it up to Daniel? And can you turn to Daniel chapter 11? If you can, you can be looking at what I’m looking at here. Daniel chapter 11, it says here about the Antichrist that he will actually enter into the Middle East militarily. And in verse 41, it says he shall enter also into the glorious land.

He’s actually going to take over Israel halfway through the seven year tribulation period that will follow the rapture. Once we’re raptured out, three and a half years later, the Antichrist will take over the Middle East and he will take over even Israel. It says here, many countries shall be overthrown. I believe they are known as ancient Assyria, which includes all of Saudi Arabia, all of Iraq, all of Syria, all of Lebanon, all of Israel and all of Egypt. It actually says that here, many countries shall be overthrown, but even these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom and Moab and the children of Amman.

Now Amman today is the present day capital of the country of Jordan. If you look at Amman, Edom and Moab are all modern-day Jordan and it says here in my Bible that the Antichrist when he takes over these many countries in the Middle East which will be Everything that was ancient Assyria and by the way when Assyria grew it grew in a counterclockwise direction If you start off in Saudi Arabia and you move up to the left and around you will go through Iraq You will go through Syria you’ll start coming down and go through Lebanon You’ll come down through Israel and you’ll wind up down in Egypt and that’s exactly it seems like what the plan is here coming up in the future where the Antichrist will take over all these countries and it’ll include Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Egypt.

But Jordan is going to escape out of his hands. Now we’ve been talking here in the past about Petra, a rock city carved out of the rock 2500 years ago that remained lost to the world for about 2000 years that’s been rediscovered since 1850 by a British archaeologist named Burkhardt. But it’s a city of about forty square miles of territory carved right out of the rock that’s ready for the Jews to go to the flea from the anacrist. And the Bible actually speaks about a city that is prepared of God where God will feed and take care of Israel once again during the tribulation period.

It’s called a beautiful rose-red city of Petra, but numerous times. And its beauty is incredible. And it’s a place where the Bible describes that the Jewish people will flee. And it’s in what is modern-day Jordan and that says here that that land will apparently be politically neutral and be out of the hands of the Antichrist. That’s why they’ll be safe there. But it says also in verse 42, the Antichrist will stretch for this hand upon the countries and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

So he’ll wind up taking over Egypt. He’ll have power over the treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. If you look at a map, when you look at Egypt to the right, you have Ethiopia to the left, you have Libya. Antichrist will have taken over Egypt and will be ready to take over Libya. And Ethiopia, but he stops. Why does he stop? It tells us right here why he stops.

He doesn’t go any further. It says because tidings out of the East, I believe that’s China and tidings out of the North, I believe that’s Russia will trouble him. And you know, Libya and Ethiopia both have ties with Russia. And so apparently Russia is saying, you better not touch him. And China also. We find apparently he stops right there at the borders of Libya, Ethiopia, and the Antichrist, according to verse 45 of Daniel, it says, he’ll plant the tabernacle of his palace between the seas.

Now, the two seas it’s talking about here is the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean. Look at a map. You’ll find that dead center between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea is Jerusalem. We’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break into the second half hour by one, So keep you ready to tune right where it is. Would you like to help Bibleline continue in your area? You can. Now let’s return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll hear more Bible teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We hear the phone lines. We have Janet Richmond Virginia patiently waiting in Janet. Welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

Hello. Hi there. Hello. Yes. My question is Why do you believe in the pre-tribulation rapture and what Bible verses do you use that substantiate this because I’ve heard that this is a man-made doctrine and that the Bible never says that there will be a pre-tribulation rapture. All right. That’s a lot of people say that. And of course, I would first go to 1 Thessalonians chapter 1 verse 10 where it says that we are to wait for his son from heaven, which has delivered us from the wrath to come.

pretty plain. If the tribulation period were first, then the verse would have to read where to wait for the tribulation period and then Christ will come. But it says next event where to wait for His Son from heaven which has delivered us from the wrath which is to come which is the tribulation. So Christ will come first and then the tribulation period and we find also in 1st Thessalonians 4 and in chapter 5 it tells us about the wonderful rapture in chapter 4 verse 16 and then it talks about in chapter 5 the tribulation period follows.

In 2 Thessalonians it tells us that there will be a departure. The departure I believe is of the Holy Spirit who is hindering evil in this world and when he goes we go and then they says the Antichrist will be revealed the tribulation period will be underway. So there’s tons of verses that support the fact that we’re not going to go through the tribulation period at all. going to be raptured out before the judgments of the Tribulation Period report out upon the earth.

I have a 12 hour series which I’ve done on the rapture and I cover all the false positions and why the Bible is clear that there is a rapture that happens before the tribulation and you might be interested in getting that series if you want to do a series study on it. But thank you very much for your call. Okay, well, is that answer because well yes, I’ve just heard that this is a man-made doctrine or a man-made you know Well, obviously you get here all kinds of things and depending on which group you’re listening to I mean the Jehovah’s Witnesses say that Jesus is not God well, we’re not gonna listen to them We’re gonna listen to the Bible and people will say that the rapture is not in the Bible and of course the English word rapture is not there but the the word rapture means caught up and that’s in there.

That’s better understood by people anyway. I’m glad it doesn’t use the word rapture because people probably be too lazy to look it up in their dictionary. But if you read verse 17 of 1st Thessalonians 4, it says, we which are alive and remain shall be caught up, caught up, caught up, caught up. That means rapture put it in the margin and it says to meet the Lord in the air. So there is clearly a catching up of the believers.

And if they don’t like the word rapture, they can say there’s a catching up, a snatching up. be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and then from that point will forever be with the Lord. Then chapter 5 describes the tribulation period that will follow that men who are left behind will not escape. Okay, so the first verse, the first reference was verse, thessalmonians on the end. One ten. Oh, it’s a great verse because obviously and you’ll see many verses like that.

We’re never told to wait for tribulation. We’re told to wait for Christ. So he’s first. Okay, yeah, that makes sense, yeah. Okay, okay. Thank you, Jan. All right. Thank you. All right. That was Janet up there in Richmond, Virginia George welcome to Bible then This is Wilborn and Richmond What do you know Wilburn in Richmond? I’m glad we somehow Got you confused but with somebody else. I’m glad to have you Wilburn That’s rich in Virginia Yeah, that’s okay. Got it in control Well that’s for sure because when I pushed the button I thought I was going to South Florida and here I went all the way to Richmond, Virginia.

I’m glad to have you on board. Yes. First of all, I want to thank Harold for calling because I always love to hear him call and I know he says he’s an unbeliever and a lot of times he’ll mention he’s where he’s wasting the time from the believers and believe it or not Harold you’re blessing the believers by your questions. And so we get a windfall from your intelligent questions. And I’m sure the angels in heaven are waiting to have some type of celebration when you finally choose salvation so that you can rely on not your own strength through life, but through your strength and the strength of the Holy Spirit, which is the most powerful strength, a person, not like people say.

Some people say being a Christian, they just need a crutch. That’s not true. Christians just choose the Holy Spirit to be the strongest. Well, we recognize our need because we’re all in need of the Lord. People need God. you know we’re made in design so that we really can’t live without him and we just need to find him before it’s too late and you’re absolutely right I’m fully agree with it that Harold definitely asked some really great questions that I think benefit all of us.

Do you have a question today Wilburner? Yeah yes I do. I like to wear a small and it’s in expensive necklace so that I belong to Jesus and I know some people are offended by the cross and you have also spoken before about engraving uh… images and just wondering uh… i believe i know the answer but i thought it did a good question is anything wrong and across around i don’t see a problem with that unless you begin to give it special significance if it becomes an idol to you some people i think watch too many dracula movies and they think that that thing has power and they can hold it up and the devil’s will run from the cross and that’s not true so but sometimes people get in trouble they reach up and grab their cross around their neck and i think that’s

then putting undo significance to it i think it’s a beautiful way of uh… maybe relating to somebody else your believer but uh… uh… unless you make it an idol which could easily happen so you just need to be careful you don’t do that okay well thank you come up all right thank you for calling and that was wilburn in richmond virginia george and palm beach garden georgery there yes good morning good morning uh… first of all i have a question on the here you’re a list of belief that matter now i was a look in the sober again to uh…

handed off to someone and i got a little confused i don’t know if i missed something here or what but the last two things second coming of christ in the rapture you have the second coming of crisis next to last and then the last one on the list of the rapture and it says the raptures the next event and guys calendar irith at the mean comes after the way this is lined up. Well, I know it’s not right. It’s not lined up in chronological sequence, but it’s lined up perhaps as the most important thing.

And I left it last as the Rapture for us because we’re going to be caught up in that Rapture. But the next event, the order is the Rapture happens next, then the Tribulation period, then the second coming at the end of that seven year period. And then the thousand year reign of Christ, this Christ will establish His Kingdom at that point. Well, see, maybe Maybe I’ll rearrange it in the list using yeah, because I read the second coming of Christ and then the next thing is the raptors the next event I I was someone who doesn’t know the scripture very well would think that rapture comes after the second It’s a good point.

I can easily move that and I’ll probably change that because of your suggestion. I thank you. Thank you And here’s my question here I don’t know a heavy question about I doubt it but the new heaven and the new earth, right? The scripture says we won’t have sexual relations in heaven, right? That’s correct. I think that’s a good question about the wives. Well, do you think that God will repopulate the new earth? And if so, what’s the difference between the church?

The church I assume would be in New Jerusalem? You know, once the thousand year reign has ended, there is a freeze on, there is no new population or new creation of humans or angels, it’s a fixed number. So all the saved, according to Revelation 21, are the ones that will enter into the New Jerusalem and enjoy the new earth. And so they are the redeemed from planet Earth from Adam till the end of the thousand year into Christ. Only those that are saved will enter into that and there’s not going to be any children or So the number will be constant throughout eternity.

So there’d be no repopulation? No. 20-2030 it says we will be like the angels and that is they don’t marry needed or given a marriage and we won’t have children. 20-30, yeah. Okay. I’m gonna hang up but would you expound on the your findings about the New King James? Sure, okay. Thank you. The New King James, I was hoping that they would just take the these and those and bring it up to speed and clarify some of the clarify some of the archaic words that are in the King James, but they didn’t do that.

They did more than that. They obviously have changed the text in several places. One of those is Matthew 7, which seems to imply works for salvation. When it says narrow is the way that leads unto life, they put hard and or difficult. And that’s a different concept. That seems to imply that you have to work at it to get there. And that’s not what it’s saying it all. When it says narrow is the way, it’s talking about the exclusiveness that it’s only through Christ that you get to heaven, not of the fact that there’s any difficulty to it.

Salvation is the gift of God. It’s free. All we have to do is come and take of the water of life freely. It tells us in Revelation 22, 17. So they certainly messed that up. Also, you know, it’s interesting that they use as a symbol right in the front cover of the New King James, the pagan symbol of the Trinity, which is used in satanic groups, musicians, and others use that symbol on the covers of their albums. And so obviously, why would they choose that?

It seems like such a contradiction to have something that is pagan and used with Satan on the cover of the Holy Word of God. But in any case, there are verses that they do twist around and I believe that they went beyond what they really should have done with the New King James. So I can’t recommend it. We have a sheet that exposes a lot of the different doctrines that are affected by the changes and we’ll send it out to you free.

If you’d like to get that off the air, Donna in Bradenton, Florida calls in. She said she thought the Gentiles were grafted in to the olive tree as God’s chosen people. Why can’t we begin to sit in Jewish? Because we are that wild olive branch and we are grafted in. But the time is coming when the natural branch will be grafted back in again. All of that is in Romans chapter 11 and it’s basically saying the gospel. Abraham not only is the father of the Jewish people, but he’s also the father of the Arab peoples through Ishmael, but also spiritually.

He’s the father of faith of all that believes. So in a spiritual sense you might say that we are the children of Abraham as the Bible says in in Galatians chapter 3 that we become Abraham’s seed spiritually when we trust Christ. But physically we are not Jewish unless we’re physically descendant from Abraham through Isaac through Jacob and the false sons of Jacob or Israel. That wraps up today’s question and answer segment. As believers in Jesus, there is no other topic that is more important to us than the gospel of Jesus Christ, and it was Dr.

And notice it mentions all the different kinds of things that are traded and sold and bought. This is like the Big Ebe, verse 12, the merchandise of what? Gold of silver and precious stones of pearls, find linen, purple, silk, scarlet, and all fine wood, and all manners of vessels of ivory, and all manners of vessels of most precious wood, of brass, and iron, and marble, and cinnamon, odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beast, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and the souls of men.

The Western world, which is this system of trading, and buying, and merchandising is going to come to a halt at the return of Jesus Christ. And nobody will buy their merchandise anymore because it will be destroyed. It talks here about believers during the tribulation period come out of her. My people, verse 4, be not ye partakers of her sins that you receive not of her plagues. So believers are always told to separate themselves from evil systems. It tells here how, for seven, she glorified herself and lived deliciously.

And so much torment and sorrow give her. So she said in her heart, I sit as a queen in him, no widow and will see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death and mourning and famine. And she’ll be utterly burned with fire for strong is the Lord God who judges her. And by the way, fire is a good way to describe nuclear destruction, isn’t it? tremendous heat. It’s released when these bombs go off, just melt everything.

It says in verse 9, the kings of the earth who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with the system shall be wail her and lament for her when they see the smoke of her burning. Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, I believe that’s nuclear radiation. Everybody will stand afar off from all the cities that have been destroyed because of the fallout of the torment. standing afar for the fear of her torment, the torment being the radiation that will fall down upon them if they get too close.

Alas, alas, that great city Babylon that mighty city for in one hour is the judgment come. You have to see beyond the city and by beyond the Babylonian kingdom to the inform of all this Babylonian system that is encompassing all of Europe and America. Notice in one hour is the judgment come. It says in one hour in verse 10, it says in verse 17 in one hour, So great riches has come to naught in the universe 19 in the last phrase and says in one hour she made desolate We can hit Russia in 30 minutes Russia can hit us in 30 minutes Russia can hit Europe in 10 minutes When the missiles are unleashed at Armageddon when Russia strikes at Armageddon the whole world war could be over in one hour Nobody laughs anymore at that You know most wars take years and years and years and years and years

World War I, years and years, World War II, years and years, Korea, who years and years, Vietnam, years and years, it seemed like we’d never get out of Vietnam. Most wars just go on and on, but this is a war that’ll be over in one hour, and we can see how that would happen if it is nuclear and all these missiles are unleashed. And so what we have here is that this merchant system is destroyed, and it all happens in one hour.

verse 15, the merchants of these things which were made rich by her shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment. The fear of her torment has to be the nuclear radiation, the fallout from the bombs, weeping and wailing and saying, alas, alas, that great city or that great system that came out of ancient Babylon that was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls in one hour. So great riches has come to naught in every shipmaster and all the company in the ships and sailors and as many as trade by sea stood afar off and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning.

And this is of course the destruction of the western world as we know it. And so it’s going to come down and this will be the judgment of God upon the kingdom of the Antichrist. Verse 20, Rejoice over her thou heaven and ye holy apostles and prophets for God hath avenged you on her. And am I the angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea saying, that’s what violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

And the voice of the harpers and the musicians and the piper and trumpeters shall no more be heard at all in thee. What is interesting about our world today is how much music has an influence. Look at this verse, the voice of the harpers and musicians, the piper, the trumpeters, almost everything we do. We do with music today, don’t we? Wherever you go in a restaurant into a department store, to a Walmart, to Target, there’s music playing. We go in our cars and there’s music and we go everywhere.

And all of this is a part of the Western system and the music is driving the culture today. And as we said a couple chapters earlier, among our young people, it’s called Gangster, which the Gangster rapper music is all about what? Sex, drugs, murder, theft, That’s exactly the four different crimes mentioned in Revelation 16, and it says they don’t want to change your mind about those kinds of things. And that’s happening right now. Right now. It’s a violent scene.

What is interesting to me is that we don’t get all the reports in the news of what happens. I was talking to a person, said they saw a person in a body bag last Saturday night in Ebor City. They don’t report all these murders in the paper because they don’t want to stop the tourist business to going there. but there’s a lot of kids that die or get hurt or killed and they only report it. This is the type of world we’re living in.

This is the gangster culture. This is where people die. And a lot of times we don’t even hear about it because they don’t want to stop it. They don’t want it to be prevented. They want it to keep going. It’s a money generator. And we’re living in that kind of world today. It says all of that will cease. And notice there’s 23 of the light of the candles. So no, it’s shining no more at all in the voice of the bridegroom and of the bridegroom.

No more at all heard in thee, for thy merchants were the great men of the earth. and for by thy sorceries and that’s drugs. We said when we saw it earlier in Revelation, it’s the Greek word pharma kia from which we get our English word pharmacy for by thy drugs where all nations deceived. And in her was found in a blood of prophets and of saints and of all that were slain upon the earth. This is pretty fascinating stuff, isn’t it?

I think we’re really seeing it. I recommend you get the book, Two Babylons, and you don’t have it. It’ll really bring up the speed on that chapter 17 the religious system that we’ve been talking about that’s described. Right now, and you may have heard me talk about it on the radio, a lot of people are observing Lent. And according to the Roman Catholic Encyclopedia, when I looked up Ash Wednesday, it says, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. It says, Lent is the solemn call to penance, which is works, that one might enjoy eternal life.

In other words, people who are observing Lent are praying and giving up things, gaining points to earn their way to heaven, which is what the Roman Catholic Church teaches. And those important churches as well, oftentimes they’re thinking that if they follow the observance of Lent, it will aid them in their quest of reaching heaven. It’s a false system. And I say that because I plead for the souls of those that are deceived by the system that But they think will lead them to heaven, which will really lead them to hell.

If they’re trusting in these things to get them to heaven, they won’t make it. I have the big Roman Catholic Encyclopedia that says, Ash Wednesday, a solemn call to penance so that one might enjoy everlasting life. Works for salvation, the counterfeit of the Bible and a false system. We’re watching it happen for our very eyes. In this system, the world is committing fornication with, and obviously it plays a major role today, doesn’t it? You could hardly go a day when you don’t read something about the Roman Catholic Church, and they’re not getting a lot of good publicity today, but they’re still very powerful politically and religiously, and we’re in those days.

Be sure to tune in to another edition of Bibleline from Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida. Look at a map. You’ll find that dead center between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea is Jerusalem. It’s in the middle. It’s right there. And it says here he’ll plant the Tabernacle of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain. That is Jerusalem. And so Jerusalem will be the place where the Antichrist will build his Tabernacle where he will live and where he will rule the Western world.

So we got some insight here to what’s going to happen in the Middle East. We are living close to when he seems to take place. And it’s not just one thing that’s happening. Everything that Christ said is beginning to come to pass before our very eyes. We find also that there are these incurable diseases. Lots of new things happening here in the Bible said in Matthew 24 that there would be these incurable diseases. And boy, we have a host of them today, don’t we?

These are all new to us. I don’t think anybody ever talked about these things when I was a child about AIDS or Ebola or the West Nile virus or Asian bird flu or all these other crazy things that are out there these man-eating flesh-eating bacteria that they have today, the MRSA, germs that now are common everywhere, the people can get that and it can kill you. The staff infection today that’s so powerful that only a few antibiotics will be able to stop it.

We’re living in the last days. Famine. All the time now we’re reading about food shortages. Worldwide. Earthquakes and divers places all part of the end times and I think we’re living close here. The Antichrist will take over Israel and the neighbors around Israel, but one part of the Middle East will escape the hand of the Antichrist. According to verse 41 of Daniel chapter 12, and it says, even Edom and Moab and the chief of the children of Amman, that is modern-aid Jordan.

Amman is the capital of Jordan. I’ve stayed there numerous times on trips to Israel and the Middle East. That is the capital. If you go south, you have the land of Moab and Edom. And that’s where the Rock City of Petra is. And no wonder it is going to be protected by God so that Jewish people can get there. By the way, if you flee from Jerusalem to Petra, you’ll find if you draw a straight line between Jerusalem and Petra, you go right through the Dead Sea.

And guess what’s happened? The Dead Sea, because the surface is going down, down, down, as they don’t allow water from the Jordan to flow into the Dead Sea anymore. There has been exposed now a sandbar that is like a highway that runs diagonally right across the Dead Sea. If you run a line from Jerusalem to Petri, guess what? There’s a highway. God has apparently had them to the Dead Sea all along, but now is exposed that will allow the Jewish people to flee straight down across the Dead Sea right into Petri.

I have a satellite map and boy you can see it’s so good from outer space. this sandbar, this highway. God has prepared for the Jews to be able to flee, and you can see this highway so clear. It’s a clear shot for Jewish people fleeing the Antichrist. When he takes over the land of Israel in the middle of the tribulation period, they’ll be able to flee straight to Petra where they’ll be protected by God miraculously and fed there until the end of the tribulation when the Bible says in Isaiah 16 that the Messiah will go Go to Petra and lead these people back into the Promised Land as he will gather them back into his land as he rules over them during the millennium.

I’m excited, I don’t know about you, but I think maybe we’re getting close to when the Lord’s going to snatch us all out. Are you aware of that? And by the way, if he comes this year, it’ll probably be on the Feast of Trumpets. That’s the most reasonable day for him to come. As the feast days all picture events related to the two companies of Christ. Christ died on the Feast of Passover, buried during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, rose from the dead on the feast of first fruits.

The Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost and began his present age to the next feast that will end the sages when the rapture happens. That’s Rosh Hashanah. You might have a few months left before we’re raptured out. I don’t know if the Lord is coming this year or not, but it could be that he would. If he did, you might start counting down because at the end of September, we might all be going out of here. Now please play this back if you thought I said the rapture was happening of this year.

I didn’t say that and people like to misquote you, but I didn’t say that. I said it could happen. It could happen. It could happen this year. Wouldn’t that be something? In any case, we got around, but we’ll be back tomorrow. So keep looking up. Jesus is coming. We believe soon.
