You could hardly go a day when you don’t read something about the Roman Catholic Church and they’re not getting a lot of good publicity today but they’re still very powerful politically and religiously and we’re in those days. In chapter 18 we talked about the Battle of Armageddon.

I want to point out a couple of things. In verse 10 at the last phrase it says in one hour is that judgment come. Look again in verse 17, in one hour, so great riches has come to naught. In verse 19 in the end of the verse it says in one hour is she made desolate. This war, the mother of all wars, the war that will destroy one third of all the lives on the planet earth will be over in one hour.

And it’s nuclear and we believe that it can all be done in one hour because we can hit Russia in 30 minutes, they can hit us in 30 minutes, they can hit Europe in 10 minutes, and if there is a total world nuclear exchange of intercontinental ballistic missiles, one third of the world’s population will truly be killed in one hour. It seems to be cities will be targeted and radiation will be in danger. Verse 10, it says they’ll stand the far off for fear of a torment.

The torment, I believe, radiation. And we find that in verse 17, in one hour, so great riches is coming in on every shipmaster and all the company and the ships and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood what? Far off. I think it’s all because of the nuclear bombs that will be used. And so the technology is here today for such a war. And in chapter 17, we have the religious system being destroyed, which will be headed up by Rome.

We see the ecumenical movement gathering now, momentum, and more and more churches coming into harmony with Rome. That system will be destroyed and the system of commercialism that is seen in the Western nations that came from ancient Babylon will also be destroyed. Notice verse 11, key words throughout our merchants and merchandise. The merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her for no man byeth her merchandise anymore. So the trading nations, the Western nations will be wiped out.

And it says in verse 12, the merchandise, the gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, finally. And you can read several verses here about the merchandise that is traded. And in, again, in verse 15, the merchants of these who were made rich by her shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing. So you think 9-11 was bad, Armageddon is going to be real bad. One third of the world’s population in one hour, gone. Hard to believe.

Chapter 19. After these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven saying, Olliluya, salvation and glory and honor and power unto the Lord our God. For true and righteous are his judgments, for he hath judged the great whore, thus the religious system in chapter 17, which did corrupt the earth with her spiritual fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Olliluya and her smoke rose up forever and ever.

And the 420 elders and the four living creatures fell down and worship God that sat upon the throne saying, Amen, Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne saying, praise our God, all ye His servants, and ye that fear Him both small and great. And as I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. So Jesus comes back now to rule and reign.

Let us be glad to rejoice for seven and give honor to him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come. The marriage is between us, the bride of Christ, all those that are saved between Pentecost and the Rapture, and Christ being the Lamb. This marriage will take place after the Rapture in heaven before Christ returns. And when he returns, he’ll come back with us his bride. Notice his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.

So here we, as believers of this present age will come back with Christ as his bride. And then it says in verse 9, He saith unto me, right, blessed or happy are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And I believe that’s the entire millennial kingdom. That whole thousand years will be a celebration of Christ becoming married to the bride. And so it will be a wonderful celebration the whole thousand years long. And all of those that are invited into that thousand-year kingdom are surely blessed and are happy that they are invited, called, under the marriage supper of the Lamb.

These are the true sayings of God. And I fell on his feet to worship him and he said unto me, see that you do it not. I am thy fellow servant and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus, worship what? God. So obviously worship, except for God is forbidden in the Bible. We’re not to worship Mary, we’re not to worship the saints, we’re not to worship angels, to worship only God. Jesus is to be worshiped because He is God, but otherwise no other being is to be worship.

Then it says here for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. When you read through the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit tells the story of Christ from Genesis to Revelation. And if you miss Christ in the Bible, then you’re missing what the Spirit of God wants us to see. And we find prophecy after prophecy about him in the Old Testament, literally fulfilled. And we find, of course, in the New Testament more about what Jesus will come and do.

And of course, this wonderful book that is the final book of the Bible telling us all about Jesus and his return and how the way will be prepared for Christ to establish His Kingdom here on this earth. Chapter 19, verse 11, I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse. This is the return of Christ at the Second Coming. He then sat upon him and was called Faithful and True. That’s Jesus Christ. Then it says in righteousness, he doth judge and make war.

I mean, courage to mark those two things. They don’t happen at the rapture, but at the second coming Christ will judge and he’ll make war. He’ll fight against the nations that come against Jerusalem and defeat them. His eyes were as a flame of fire on his head were many crowns. He had a name written to No Man New but he himself. He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. I believe that blood is the blood that splashes on him when he kills all the unsaved.

When in the end of verse 15 he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. In chapter 14 we studied that where all the unsaved will be gathered by the angels and he’ll crush their bodies at a river will flow 200 miles long as deep as the horse is bright. From all the humans that are slain that are not killed by Armageddon that are killed directly by Christ who slays all the rest of the unsaved on the earth.

And so in Isaiah, we covered it back in when we discovered chapter 14, how did his garments are stained with blood as he tramples upon those that are lost? We said to him, the battle to him and the Republic is about that awful judgment. He has loose the fateful lightning of his terrible swift sword and he’s trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored. The first line of that hymn that many people like and it says, of course, that his truth is marching on so on and so on.

love of him but they don’t realize what a bloody hymn that is, one of God coming back in vengeance to destroy the lost. His name is called the word of God and of course we find that in John 1 1. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. And then in verse 14, the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Verse 14, here we are, the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine, linen, white and plain.

So we come back with Christ. Out of his sword go with a sharp sword, that is his word is the word of God, that with it he should, you might want to underscore, smite the nations and he shall rule them with a rod of iron. So four things here. Verse 11 he’ll judge and make war. In verse 15 he’ll smite the nations and rule them. So if you’re marking down four significant things that Christ will do, these are four.

Then it says, he treadeth the winepress of the fierceston of the wrath of Almighty God. The lost will be judged and killed and the saved will be left to enter into the thousand year reign of Christ. Luke chapter one okay would you explain the uh… the phrase uh… the king of judia a certain priest named back arayas of the course of abia all right the course of the is that what you’re asking about he had a definition you can back in first chronicles it talked about how when the priest had grew that there became too many priests to accomplish all the tasks. So what they did is they divided the year into 24 different courses of service and those periods of service were two weeks long.

The course of Abiyyah, if you go back there to Chronicles, I think it’s chapter 24 of my memory service to be right, was the eighth course. And it really turns out it would be approximately the last two weeks of July. And so we believe that Zechariah was serving in the temple the last two weeks of July. And it was then that the angel Gabriel appeared to him and told him that Elizabeth would become pregnant and carry John the Baptist.

We believe that when he went home on July 31st, she probably conceived that night and got pregnant. Then we have the clue is that when Christ was born because we know that after six months of the pregnancy of Elizabeth, the angel Gabriel then goes to Nazareth and tells Mary that she’s He’s pregnant and we know Jesus was a full term baby nine months. So nine plus six is 15 months after July 31st. That puts the birth of Christ on October 31st, which really freaks some people out because that’s Halloween.

But think about it. Satan of course would love to rob the glory from Christ and he’s taken October 31st as a day for himself. He’s done a pretty good job of that, hasn’t he? And I really believe that Christ was probably born October 31st. person this is the tip of as to how we can calculate that amen brother also also want to speak on the maintenance and that uh… knowing that i was a mason going through the rituals and learning uh…

what i did was definitely in direct conflict with the dot correct conflict and and you’re speaking to uh… uh… mason uh… i can tell you that uh… from what i know from the scriptures and at the time i didn’t really understand that much but i knew that uh… the masons go came away and came and came is in direct opposition of god and the masons sister which is the eastern star okay so we know about a star and and and and they they they promote of the d at the of christ or they promote uh…

god and but the thing that they do and the thing once they get you inducted are so similar and then direct you know to god and and they and it’s just like the antichrist who wants to be like dot just as you were speaking on the fact that christmas have been born october thirty first I witnessed to a brother yesterday or two days ago and lo and behold, as I was witnessing to him another minister, so-called minister, was calling him.

Yeah, Satan has his counterfeits and no doubt about it. Just like in the parable of the sore, when the word is given out, Satan is ready there to steal away that word from their mind before they can make the decision to trust Christ as their Savior. And it’s amazing how quickly when somebody hears the gospel that there’s a cult member knocking on the door almost the next day. And that reference to Billy Graham, I would venture out to say that that’s hearsay and that if it is then that’s Billy Graham’s choice and that would be, you know, that would be, but I would venture out to say that that’s hearsay.

What’s going on, Dr. Hayte? I’m telling you, Jesus is coming back. Are you watching the news? I’m telling you. I’m getting on the edge of my seat here.

Yeah. I’m telling you. I called yesterday about, actually, this 25 and 6. Now, you thoroughly elucidated on verse 5 of 20, actually this 25. And what I was what I want to know is and when we do good and if if we As I said in verse six if we love God and we keep us as many commandments of his as we can and And we you know we just try to do the best we can and the Bible said that God will have mercy upon us I want to know Well, I think if the if the the iniquities that we commit, we bequeize those iniquities and those bad habits to our children.

I think that’s what it’s saying and we need to just really recognize as parents we need to be good examples and guide our kids and to raise them. You know back in the Old Testament there are so many passages that says that when we rise up and when we go to work and we come home from work and when we’re sitting in our house we should talk about the things of the Lord and provide that environment for the children and like it says in Ephesians to raise them up in the nurture and the admonition of the Lord so it’s a really full-time job to bring up the Lord and bring up Jesus and talk to our children about the Lord all the time okay cosey and Jeremiah 31 and 29 and 30 you know it says in those days they shall say no more the fathers have eaten a

sour grape and the children’s teeth are set on edge and then in the third year says but everyone shall die for his own iniquity every minute eat it the sour grapes his teeth shall be set on edge and you know i try to arm take your uh… education about uh… right the divided world of truth and uh… interpret aton interpret aton i think i’m saying that’s right uh… a clear verse in light of a difficult verse so that they won’t you know make contrast against each other amen you get a right i Okay, one more arm, Dr.

Hank, I was reading in Daniel and according to Dr. Schofield, about the verse, I think it’s in the 11 where it says that in the Antichrist, he will hate the God of his fathers. Now, Dr. Schofield said that, you know, that was fulfilled and I think in AD 70 or something like that, when I believe the Romans desecrated the temple or whatever, he said that it was already revealed. but you know I got a lot of schism with that because the Antichrist hasn’t appeared yet.

So how would we know if he was Jewish or not? Well right and we’re just assuming that there’s some Jewish blood running through the veins of that Antichrist when he appears that he will obviously not follow the teachings of the Bible which is probably the God of his fathers is a reference to a Jewish heritage. So I think Antichrist has some Jewish blood anyway. So you believe that he might be Jewish may not be a thorough and a pedigree Jew, but he may have some Jew running through his blood.

You got it. Okay. I appreciate it. Thank you. You’re all right You know, we can’t really identify the inner Christ yet because he’s not gonna be revealed till after the Rapture But we can kind of speculate I guess but we’ll not be able to say for sure till after the Rapture when and of course I’m not going to be here, but then he’ll be revealed and the world will be able to identify him. We’re going to go to Eddie in St.

Petersburg. Eddie welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Thank you Pastor Hank. I appreciate you taking my call. I was having a conversation with my brother Freddie last night and we got talking about the news and the events taking place and how close we must be to the return of our Lord. We started discussing a little bit about the… I was hoping that you could expound on things from the pre-tribulation rapture of the church through the seven years of tribulation and then Armageddon and then a thousand year reign with Christ here in a New Jerusalem.

Okay. Then after that it gets a little cloudy for me because it gets into St. Paul’s released for a season. He tempts some follow him. Who are those some that are tempted again? and then there’s a battle of Gog and make Gog in there. It gets a little forced. We were hoping you could expand on that. All right, I’ll give you a quick outline here. The Rapture, we believe, is the next event on God’s program. And once the Rapture happens, the Church, the body of Christ, we’re gonna be gone.

Then God is going to begin to use Israel, again as his witnesses. And during that first three and a half years, the Jews will rebuild a third temple. They’ll offer blood sacrifices again. the Antichrist will rise to power and he’ll come to power in the middle of the tribulation and he will be the head of the western nations I believe coming out of the US of A will wind up taking over Europe and the core countries of the Middle East and certainly we see the West involved in really kind of taking over the Middle East and that is probably something you would not have necessarily foreseen if you drop back 20 or 30 years but we are the only superpower now and And we’re without a doubt the country that everybody’s looking to to solve the problems over there.

And that’s exactly the way it’s going to be in the Antichrist will be that man that will be in leadership once the Rapture happens. We know the second half of the seven years will be the worst and the Antichrist will be ruling then and he’s going to turn against the Jews or be another Holocaust and Jewish people will be hunted down and killed. And God will still spare a large remnant of Jews. at the end of the tribulation period it winds up with the nations fighting over the world and the war breaks out in Israel and is a worldwide nuclear confrontation that’s over in one hour.

According to Revelation 18, three times it tells us in one hour. People used to laugh at that. But today we know that Russia can hit the United States in 30 minutes with their intercontinental ballistic missiles. We can hit them in 30 minutes. They can hit Europe in 10 minutes and so on. And so if everybody hits their buttons and releases their nuclear arsenal, the whole war could be over in an hour like the Bible says. And in that one hour, two billion people will die at least that many.

It says a third of the world’s population. And if they’re right about our world population being 6 billion, 2 billion are going to go. That’s just mind You know, there will never be such a horrific event ever in all the history of the world as that one right there. And then Christ will, of course, bring peace on the earth. And during that millennium, it only begins with believers. All unbelievers will be destroyed by Christ as the thousand year begins, but they’ll still be in their mortal bodies, and they’ll have children, and their children will have children.

And of course, they’ll still have a nature inherited from Adam, and they’ll be sinners in need of a Savior. And apparently with the most ideal conditions, with Satan being bound up and his angels, and Christ visibly ruling on the earth, that still people will turn away and not trust the Lord of Savior. So Satan rounds up a large group of unbelievers at the end of the thousand year end of Christ. Then God destroys his earth, casts the devil and his angels and all the unsaved into hell.

There’s a new heavens and new earth, and we believers are going to live in the New Jerusalem and enjoy the new earth forever and ever and ever. Chapters 21 and 22 describe eternity and the new Jerusalem where we’re gonna make our home and it’s gonna be a great, great time. Thank you for the call, I hope that helped a little bit. But before that, of course, we have the Rapture. And the Rapture, of course, is the event when all believers are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. That could happen at any time, but we believe that whatever year it happens, it will happen on the Feast of Trumpets. This year the Feast of Trumpets will be on the very end of September. And so if the Lord comes this year, that’s about how much time you have left. Isn’t that something to think about?

Whenever the Lord comes, we’ll be snatched out, meet the Lord in the air, and whatever we’re going to do for Christ, we need to do before the Rapture. And it becomes this year, and I don’t know what year he’s coming. But it would be on the Feast of Trumpets, which is Rosh Hashanah. And so that’s how many months you have left until the Lord comes. If, if he comes this year, I didn’t say that he would. And we know that because of the feast days that God gave the Israel, you know, seven feast days picture the two comings of Christ.

And Jesus died as the Passover lamb on the Passover was buried during the feast of first fruits. Rather, unleavened bread was raised from the dead on the feast of first fruits. And Pentecost, which began this age, happened on Pentecost, the feast day, which was the fourth feast exactly on the day. And of course, the next feast which concludes this age will be the Feast of Trumpets. And that happens in the fall. And this year occurs in September. Hopefully you’re ready.

If you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior, then you are indeed ready. And all believers are gonna go up to meet the Lord in the air. Let me quote that passage for you. It says in 1 Thessalonians chapter four that we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. That’s 1 Thessalonians 4 17. Some people say, well the word raptured doesn’t occur in your Bible, that’s correct in the English, it doesn’t occur, but the Greek word, it’s translated caught up and guess what?

The word rapture means caught up so you could put that word right in the text if If you wanted to, I prefer it to be as it is because a lot of people don’t know what the word rapture means, but everybody does know what it means to be caught up. It says, we, which are alive and remain shall be caught up. The word rapture means caught up. So put it in there if you want. We’ll be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

And so shall we ever be with the Lord. What an exciting event that’s going to be. There’s going to be a large group of people that will be exempted from death that will never die. caught up while they are alive in their bodies and be transformed into their new bodies on the way up. If you are an unbeliever, you will be left behind for the darkest hours that will ever occur on the Earth. That when this event takes place, that sudden destruction will come upon the world as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.

But if you notice verse 4, it says, but you brethren are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. In other words, we really shouldn’t even be caught by surprise. We should be watching and looking for the return of Christ, and we’re children of the day and of the light. And it says here that we are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you. That is the believers as a thief in the night. You are all children of the light, children of the day.

We are not of the night nor of darkness, so we should be obviously when the Lord comes say, wow, we’ve been waiting for this day. We’ve been looking for you, Lord. We’ve been expecting that you would come and catch us out and we expect that we’ll now be with you forever and ever and ever and ever. Well, I hope you’re a believer because if you are, then you’ll be in this event. Verse 14 says, if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

In other words, the key to being in this event is trusting Christ. If you believe that is if you trust that Christ died and rose again, that’s the gospel message, then it says those which have already died in Christ will God bring with him. So the dead that have died in Christ are already with the Lord, absent from the body, present with the Lord, and they will be coming back with Jesus. Now let’s return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll hear more Bible teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We’re now going to go to Ryan in St. Petersburg and Ryan. Welcome to the Bible and you’re on the earth. I just wanted to call and talk about the Gospels and how lately I’ve been hearing so many people, not even really preach the Gospel. Like for instance, recently Adrian Rogers had passed away. And the other day I had a hurting and also service the Christian life, the disciple, and also a man-made doctrine which is to ask Jesus into your heart.

And I’m thinking myself, Lord probably took him home because he’s not preaching the gospel alone. Maybe he was saved and you just got you cannot live as you please. You have to preach the gospel and and that’s just one instance. Well a lot of preachers I think have fallen into that trap of inviting Christ into your heart. It just really isn’t scriptural. I was a victim of that in the church I was raised in where we were told every Sunday to invite Christ into our heart.

I was raised, of course, in a church where you could lose it and Christ could leave and come back and leave and come back. I did a lot of inviting Christ in my heart, but the key is, of course, that you have to trust Christ. And I’m glad that you’re alert to that. And we need to be, when we present Christ, to make sure that people understand that there’s only one thing to do and that is to trust that Jesus Christ died and paid for all of your sins.

So Ryan, I understand what you’re saying and it’s really hard anymore to find a good clear, crisp, solid message where they don’t mix up some of these modern phrases and invitations that are man-made that are not biblical. Right. The gospel of the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And also another guy that i’d really like to was i have to name them all of this that they’re out there everywhere i know that’s true another thing i i got a email just a few days back from gershan palman and the temple mount faithful movement and he put on there that i know he’s not safe um…

jewish guy but uh… he doesn’t believe jesus is an affia but he said that right now that the battle of may god and and you know that’s going on right now well he obviously right the battle of god and a guy is still featured and it’ll happen at the end of the tribulation period but it is is obviously wrong on that not only him but then i heard another guy and radio say yesterday that the battle of a guy is like towards the end of the thousand year in of christmas and that that’s the last battle right before right well there are two battles with that same name and that causes confusion as well.

The battle in Ezekiel 38 when Russia comes and triggers off Armageddon is called the Battle of Gagadmigag and then at the end of the millennium when Satan is loosed and he rounds up unbelievers and comes against Jerusalem and against Christ that is also called the Battle of Gagadmigag. So that causes confusion because there are two battles with the same name. Okay, alright Ryan, well thank you an awful lot for calling in today and I share your frustration over trying to hear a real good crisp clear message we’re going to take a bit and tampa jakeable come to buy one year warning and go out but good good i had a few things i want to do a comment on first one far the pre-tribulation all uh…

rapture uh… in support of that looking at second timothy for a kind of righteousness that you are loving his glory is appearing yes would that be a definite support for The pre-trip Rapture. Absolutely because it’s pointing to that being the next event. Exactly. It wouldn’t make much sense for us to look for his second coming which is not in debate at all about his second coming. There’s obviously a debate amongst the different sects out there as far as what I would not want.

But no doubt about it. It never tells us to look for the blessed tribulation. Exactly. We’re going to look for Christ who comes back. Who is the blessed hope, the expectation. Right. we have that he’s going to come and snatch us out of here. And basically bad doctor and breeds bad doctor. And if they don’t get the rapture thing right, usually I find out they don’t get salvation right. And I had a discussion with the fellow just the other day.

And his son apparently has been proclaiming to him that we have to go through the tribulation. And I sort of hinted I bet he doesn’t have salvation right. And sure enough, the dad said, yeah, he’s trying to tell me I can lose my salvation. And it all goes together. If you get it right, it seems like everything fits into place perfectly and if you don’t get something right nothing fits right and it’s just a lot of whack. I was in a debate recently with several people, one being my grandparents who were brought up old school Catholic and had been saved recently and they’re still holding on to the old theory of having to go through and what I told them was whether you like it or not as long as you’re saved you’re going to be snatched up with me.

Amen. Wouldn’t you say they’re more than likely going to lose out on that possible crown there? Well, yeah, of course. Of course. I think you’re absolutely right. We can lose rewards and they’ll lose that crown. We had a radio list to come into our studios this morning and he was teasing, of course, he’s looking for the Lord to come back very soon and he was saying, I’m trying to get my weight down so that I won’t kind of get stuck on the way up.

But it was, of course, a factor at all, but we have a good laugh about that. right it was one of the one to ask you about real quick with them simmer amis and uh… nimrod uh… simmer and what was her uh… her uh… was the wife of nimrod and as the name changed as this cult spread throughout the world she’s also asteroth or right Easter yes uh… and it was it was it in three twenty one at the council of night cia were content in basically kind of uh…

See how this Bible all ties together. Absolutely. As I mentioned to you in the past, we just joined a new congregation in January and August 8th. I would say Jeremiah 17, 9 in the Tanakh says that the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Who can know it? So both Jew and Gentile, we both need Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. Of course, he has made the atonement to cover our sins with his shed blood. And he lives today waiting for you to receive the free gift of salvation. the atonement herald we love you thanks brother or storm bye bye thank you a berry and herald i hope you heard that people are praying for you to come to no crisis savior and uh…

so there’s a lot of people that are thinking about you herald and now we’re gonna go to when he’s on the road right now he’s driving his truck so we don’t know where he’s at we can welcome to buy one year all right you’re on the airway Last question is But what about the little children that the parents gather small about anything? Okay, you’re kind of breaking up on Wayne. What state what state are you in?

Virginia’s off the truck and I’m driving to southern Virginia now. All right, you’re driving through Virginia All right, well, let me just answer the question Children prior to the age of accountability If they should die would go directly to heaven a great verse is second Samuel 1223 David had a baby that became ill and at seven days old died and David said the baby will not return to me but I’ll go to be with my child. So we do know all of the children under the age accountability will go to heaven.

Also we know the Holy Spirit is obviously working on every individual that comes into this world and so even if the parents when they become of age don’t try to tell them about about Christ, the Holy Spirit is dealing with them about their need and promises that He’ll get the gospel to them even though their parents aren’t telling them. So there is God working behind the scenes and God promises in Job chapter 33 that He’ll keep somebody alive through battle, through war, through disease and illness until the messenger gets to that person and tells them the gospel so they can become saved.

So you have to trust God on this one. And I love Genesis 1825, Wayne. It says, shall not the God of all the earth do right. So God is going to do the right thing. And God will see that those children will indeed hear the gospel if they seek Him. As the Bible says that He first seeks us. And that’s one of the great verses in the New Testament. Luke 19, 10 says, the Son of Man is come to seek and to save those that are lost.

So he’s seeking, and if you are going to respond to his seeking, you, then God promises you’re going to hear the message. And when you hear that message and believe the gospel of the West, you become saved. But children under the age of accountability are saved. Thank you, Wayne, for calling in. We had a bad soul connection, but we’re glad to hear you calling in from up there on the highways in West Virginia. That wraps up today’s question and answer segment.

As Christ will rule over the whole earth, as King of the Jews and King over all the kings and over all the lords over all the earth, the Bible says in Zechariah 14 verse 9, In that day there shall be one King and one Lord on the whole earth and that is Christ. Verse 17, I saw an angel standing in the sun and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the fouls that fly in the midst of heaven, come and gather yourselves together under the supper of the great God.

Not the same as the marriage supper, a celebration of the marriage of Christ to the bride. But here is the bodies of the slain that are killed at Armageddon and by Christ. And here’s what’s on the menu. Look at the menu of the supper of the great God, verse 18. That you made the flesh of kings. So if you like to eat a king, or the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and the men that sit on them, the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

The dead bodies will be strewn around the world. God will invite all the vultures and all the birds of prey to come and dine on these bodies. And notice all different people of position and power, kings and captains and mighty men will be among those that are slain and the birds of prey will come and eat their dead bodies. That’s not a pretty picture, but that is mentioned throughout the Bible, not only in the Old Testament, but in the Gospels as well.

It talks about the eagles will be gathered where the carcasses lie in Matthew 24. And so the eagles and the other birds of prey will come in feast on dead bodies. Verse 19, I saw the beast, that’s the Antichrist. And the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on a horse and against his army, that’s against Christ. And so here the Antichrist, when Jesus comes back, will turn their direction toward Christ and fight against Jesus as he comes back.

And of course, they will be defeated. And perhaps very interesting here as of late, we’ve had some near misses with asteroids. NASA has been working on being able to track them and find them and shoot them down or divert them before they get here. The first time we ever think about firing missiles to hit objects in outer space with nuclear warheads. And you’ve seen some movies from Hollywood that have talked about the same thing. But I believe maybe Satan is preparing by doing that For when Christ comes back, they’ll be able to aim missiles and fire nuclear warheads at Jesus himself.

But of course, they’re not successful in defeating Christ. Interesting, isn’t it? I think a lot of things are happening today that way. Verse 20, “…and the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and those that had worshipped his image. both were cast alive into a lake of fire or should read the lake of fire burning with brimstone. So the first ones in the hell are the Antichrist and his partner the false prophet.

So they’re cast alive by Jesus right in to the lake of fire. Alright then verse 21 the remnant were slain with the sword of him that set upon the horse Christ kills all the rest which sword proceeded out of his mouth, and all the fowls were filled with their flesh, their bodies. Chapter 20. I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. I believe it’s Christ. Revelation 1.18 says Christ has the keys to Hades or Shiel, which is the bottomless pit.

Pretty good description, by the way, because if you were to somehow tunnel to the heart of the earth to this hollow place called Shiel or Hades, if you do any more digging in any direction you’d be digging back up, wouldn’t you? It has no bottom. You’re at the bottom. It’s a bottomless pit. There is no bottom because you’re at the bottom and if you were to dig in this direction or that direction or this direction or that direction, you’d be digging back up toward the surface of the earth.

It’s a hollow place in the heart of the earth where Satan will be bound. He laid hole on the dragon, that old serpent which is called the devil and Satan and bound him how long? A thousand years. Start marking it. It occurred six times in this chapter. If anybody says, where do you find a thousand years in the Bible six times in this one chapter. So Satan will be bound in the heart of the earth and the bottomless pit for the thousand year rule of Christ.

He cast him into the bottomless pit. He shut him up, set a seal upon him, and he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled. Mark it again, a thousand years. And after that, Satan must be loosed for a little season. Verse 4. We have the resurrection now of the tribulation saints and the Old Testament saints, and it’s call the first resurrection, as Scofield says here. My saw thrones and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them, and I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the Antichrist, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands, and they lived and rained with Christ for how long?

A thousand years, I think we’re getting the picture here that there’s a thousand years coming where Christ will rule on this earth. So that’s the resurrection of the saved, And verse 5 says, the rest of the dead, which refers to the unsaved, live not again until a thousand years. There it is. Again, mark it until a thousand years were finished. So the second resurrection is the resurrection of the rest of the dead. It’s the unsaved dead that will be resurrected at the end of a thousand years.

Verse 5, the last phrase is now referring back to verse 4. This is the first resurrection, the one that occurs right at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom. Blessed are six happy and holy are righteous as he that hath part in the first resurrection. These are the saved that get saved in the tribulation period and are martyred and the Old Testament saints who were saved prior to Christ first coming. On such the second death hath no power. What is the second death?

The second death, verse 14 is death which refers to the body. Hell, it should read Hades, the place of the departed souls, were cast into the lake of fire. This is what? The second death. So the second death is to be cast into hell and notice those that are in the first resurrection, the second death hath no power over them. In other words, never go to hell. These are the sage and you and I of this age that are believers, the second death, hath no power over us.

We saw that in Revelation 2, 11 where it talks about one of the overcoming promises that the Holy Spirit says to the overcomer, which is a believer, that you shall not be hurt of the second death. It means you’ll never go to hell. As a believer, that’s a guarantee. And the Holy Spirit tells us that in Revelation 2, 11, we already studied that is concerning us in this present age. Now it says, they shall be preached of God in the price and shall reign with Him, how long?

A thousand years, there it is again, I hope you’re marking. Then it says in verse seven, and when the, how long is it, the thousand years are expired. Satan shall be loosed out of his prison. So he’ll be let loose out of the heart of the earth, and he’ll go out and deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth. God, I get made God. That title of this battle is used also Ezekiel 38 of another battle.

Armageddon is called the Battle of Gog and Magog, and this battle, which occurs a thousand years later at the end of the millennium, is also called Gog and Magog. And it means the prince and his land. And so Satan has one last battle. It’s kind of like Custer’s last stand. This is it. Final go round. And he’s defeated, and we see what happens here. Notice he gathers together an army, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Apparently this tells us that even though Christ is living on the earth visible and that it begins with all saved people, that during that time as they that are the subjects of the Millennial Kingdom are still in their mortal bodies. They are the ones who get saved in the tribulation and are invited to enter into the kingdom. That they will have children. Their children will grow up and marry and have children. They will grow up and marry and have children.

Apparently millions will not trust Christ under the most ideal conditions. Thanks for listening to Bibleline with Dr. Hank Lindstrom. What we are seeing in our headlines today is reflected in the Bible thousands of years ago. He was asked to teach the book of Romans at the University of Wittenberg in Germany. And you know, after you get assigned a course to teach, you have to study it. And he’s He’s studying the book of Romans and guess what?

He gets to verse 16 and he gets saved. That’s right. Romans 1 16 says, I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it the gospel is the power of God and the salvation to everyone that believeth. Well, Martin Luther saw that verse and he got saved. He simply trusted Christ, believing the gospel message to death, the barrel, the resurrection of Christ as the only means of his salvation. And that sparked, of course, the revelation shortly thereafter. He nailed his theses to the church door there at Wittenberg, Germany, and the Reformation was underway.

This incredible book, we’ve got that on CD, 10 Hours of Teaching, and I know you’re going to enjoy every minute of it. We deal with all the difficult passages, including those with about predestination in Romans 9, 10, and 11, and you’ll want to get that series. We also have the book of Hebrews. Boy, if there’s a book that is difficult, it’s Hebrews. in your Christian bookstore for a commentary on Hebrews or even if you have a commentary, look at the length of what they say about Hebrews.

They pretty much skip it. Most Bible expositors just walk right on by Hebrews. But we deal with all the difficult passages and go verse by verse and you’ll love the series on Hebrews. Plus we’ve got one called 10 vital doctrines of the Bible. What a solid foundation that will give you.
