We hope that you will plan to open your Bible and join us as we study topics such as, was the Second Coming in AD 70?

Are we in the Kingdom now? The Rapture versus the Second Coming, and more. If you have not yet trusted Jesus, we encourage you to do so. Please visit our website at BibleLineMinistries.org for information that can change your eternity. We pray that you will come to trust Jesus as your Savior and be saved to the glory of God. Now, join us for Dr. Lindstrom’s teaching for today. God fought on behalf of Israel and destroyed Egypt in the superpower of the world at the time.

And as we said a picture of what will happen as we’re reading about right now, that the the Antichrist was pictured Pharaoh and the world and the governments of the world under the control of the Antichrist, pictured by Egypt and Moses a picture of Christ to deliver and how Christ or Moses used Moses there and defeated their army. So will Christ defeat the armies of this world. But verse 4 is what we are getting to. His feet, now the Lord has feet, how?

In the body of Christ. Jesus is God who took on flesh, and here it tells us that when Christ returns, His feet shall stand in that day upon what mountain? The Mount of Olives. So when Christ comes back out of heaven, the first place He touches with His feet on the planet will be the Mount of Olives. That’s to the east of Jerusalem. That It helps us when we read the passage in Ezekiel that we’re going to go back and look at in just a moment because here you get a perspective.

And notice what it says here, his feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, exactly the geography that we’ve already been talking about. And it says here, an amount of Olives shall cleave in the mitzvah of toward the east and toward the west. And there’s going to be a very great valley created when that happens. I believe this is the valley of judgment called the valley of Jehosaphat in other places in the Bible.

You can’t find the valley of Jehosaphat on a map. I remember spending a lot of time looking for it and you can’t find it. Why it doesn’t exist yet? The valley of Jehosaphat is this valley that will be created by Christ when He touches down on the Mount of Olives and it splits. It tells us that half of the mountain, notice you’ll remove toward the north and half of it to the south. And so if you were to be on the Temple Mount and were to look out, the valley would be created by the mountain splitting this way and you’d be able to look straight east.

And now you’d be able to look down to the dead sea without having to have the Mount of Olives in your way. Now you have to be on the top of the Mount of Olives to look down to the Dead Sea because Jerusalem is between that Dead Sea view and the city of Jerusalem. So we find that God is going to open up that mountain. Why? Well, one of the reasons why is because the temple that will be rebuilt after the Rapture, it says in verse 8, it shall be in that day that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem.

So a river is going to flow. And what is interesting is apparently water has already begun to flow underneath the temple mount. So when the temple is rebuilt and Christ comes back, apparently water will flow and form a river that will flow two directions. Now Jerusalem is dead center between the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean. So if you get a view in your mind, you have the Mediterranean, you have the Dead Sea, and right in the middle is Jerusalem at the top of Mount Moriah.

Now for water to flow down to the Dead Sea, which it will, the Mount of Olives is in the way. So what Christ will do when He comes back is He’ll split the mountain and create a valley, and so the river will flow right down through that183 created valley. Then it will also then flow the other direction down to the Mediterranean Sea. And it will bring life to the Dead Sea. Right now the Dead Sea nothing lives in it.

I thought it would be dark and murky and ugly. Look, it’s a beautiful sea, beautiful blue-green colors. And you can see right to the bottom when you go into the Dead Sea. But it’s so filled with salt and minerals that you can’t possibly drown. float. Usually I like to demonstrate the fact that you can by laying on my back with a piece of newspaper in my hand and let the wind catch it and kind of you know body surf on your back with the sail being your newspaper.

But also I’ve taken you know a large rock about eight pounds or so put it on my stomach and laid back and still have my hands and feet hanging out of the water. So if you don’t swim people that go on the trips I can’t swim. You’re going to love it in seat because you can’t possibly drown. You’re going to just bob around like a cork on top and it’s just the most fun experience. And of course it’s very healing.

The state of Israel has built a number of tourist motels on the edges of the Dead Sea. And people come there from all over the world, particularly all over Europe, that have skin problems like psoriasis and other problems. and they find great healing in soaking in that water. And they have hot thermal springs there. This is a geologic fault area, and you can get into some of those hot pools and all those minerals and everything else have a tremendous healing power on your body.

And it’s also very relaxing. I thought that I might go to sleep and never wake up. When you get in there, you better hope somebody will just to say it’s time for you to get out because you might just go into such a relaxed state that you just slip out of the water and never come out. But it’s a wonderful experience and certainly if you go to Israel you want to try to go to the Dead Sea. And also Israel today is capitalizing in the area of makeup and things for beauty, for women.

A lot of cosmetic things are coming out of the Dead Sea products because of the healing properties and the people are finding them to really, really, really work and be a healing here. So you can buy those products in stores right here in Tampa, Israel is marketing all those things and if you go to Israel you get a chance to see all the different things that come out of that. Plus the tremendous amount of wealth and being able to extract valuable minerals out of that Dead Sea water.

They say it’s really a vast treasure of trillions of dollars of wealth if they could extract cheaply the gold, the silver, the other metals and things that are in that sea in the liquid form. So those are exciting things. But anyway, this is, I believe, the mountain. When Jesus comes back in Matthew 25, it talks about the valley where the nations will be judged and how the angels will place all the saved on the right hand of Christ and all the lost on the left hand.

So I believe in this huge valley when Christ sits on His throne right there from the temple, He will look out at the valley and on His right He will see all the saved, the sheep. And on His left He will see all the goats, all the lost. And He will pronounce to the sheep they are invited to come into this kingdom that He establishing and to the goats to the lost, the part for me cursed in everlasting fire.

So if you wondered, is that literal? Yes. And where will it take place right there? As Christ will sit on his throne, if you read Matthew 2531 it says Christ when he comes back with all of his holy angels and all of his glory will sit upon his throne judging the nations. And so the throne is right throw in the Temple Mount. Where is the valley that you would look out and see? It’s the valley created where the Mount of Olives was, and there he will see the nations already sorted out by the angels that saved and lost and judged the nations right there in the valley created here.

Notice at the end of verse 5 it tells us, the Lord my God shall what? Come, Universe 5, Zachariah 14, and the Lord my God shall come. This is Christ coming, God coming, his feet touching on the Mount of Olives, and notice that the Universe 5 it says, and all the saints what? With thee. When we study about the coming of Christ, we make a distinction between the Rapture and the Second Coming. At the Rapture, Christ comes for His saints.

And at the Second Coming, as it says here, He comes what? with his saints. So I’ve underscored here all of this, but I’ve underscored special where it says with, because this is not the rapture when Christ comes for his saints, but this is the second coming when Christ comes with his saints. So we’re going to be in that group. We’re going to go up at the rapture, seven years later come back with Christ, and so I’m going to be in that group.

When Christ comes back and fights against the nations that have come against Jerusalem and is victorious. I’m going to come back with Christ at that time and I’m going to be there watching the amount of knowledge split and all the events that will take place. So will you if your believer will be there. And can you imagine? What excites me is I’m going to get to do space travel without going through astronaut training and without a rocket or a spaceship.

But we’re going to go out through the atmosphere to be with the Lord in heaven at the Rapture. And seven years later, we’re going to actually re-enter the astronauts, get to do that when they re-enter and come back and land. We’re going to come back following Christ from outer space, entering into the atmosphere, following Christ as He comes back down to the Mount of Olives and He’ll split it. And we’ll be a part of that, our motto, soldiers that come back with Christ.

This is going to be quite exciting. And so I’m going to get to do my space travel, and we won’t have to wear an astronaut suit. We won’t have to be in a rocket or a spaceship. And we’re going to experience some incredible things. Can you imagine the visual as you’re coming in from outer space and you see the blue earth, the special body that God has created with water and an atmosphere. and coming back and re-entering through that atmosphere, and actually following Christ right on down to the Mount of Olives, and being with Him during that whole thousand years.

We’ve got some exciting adventures ahead of us, and no doubt we’re gonna experience some things that we never would have dreamed that we’d ever be able to do. As believers in Christ, these will be all true for all of us. You’re listening to Bible Eye, a teaching ministry that’s dedicated to delivering the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are many items available from our resource center, such as Dr. Hank Lindstrom’s DVD teachings on the topics of Lost People Seeking God.

Are we in the latter days? And scientific facts, in addition to many others when you call 1-800-576-3771. Now we’re gonna take a break from our teaching to listen to Dr. Lindstrom answering questions from callers and then we’ll be joined today’s teaching. We have Dr. Revrin anonymous in Pasco County, and he never agrees with me. Let’s see what he has to say today. Welcome to Bible Eye. How you doing, Doc? Good, good. How you doing today? I’ve been missing hearing from you.

Yeah, I’m from college, don’t you? You got a Hall Art Me ever known, and okay, what’s going on today? I see two more, correct them, five, seven, ten. Okay, if anybody in Christ, he’s a new creature, or new creation, and old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. What’s your answer? All right, what I’m saying is that many people take that verse to say that you don’t sin anymore, don’t practice habits that you use to practice prior to your new birth, your salvation experience, and that behold all things are brand new.

That is really not the verses saying, if you read the context of chapter 3, 4, and 5 there in Corinthians, it’s talking about the conditions that existed prior to your salvation are now passed away and now behold all brand new conditions exist. And it doesn’t mean that necessarily your life has changed at the moment of belief. Many people, I think, are robbed of their assurance and even doubt their salvation because of the wrong presentation because some people who are honest with themselves said, well, not all things are new in my life.

I still have some of my old habits that I haven’t gotten victory over yet. But really what is going on there is that when you were lost, you were headed for hell. Now the new condition is you’re headed for heaven. You’re no longer headed for hell. You were a child of the devil, but now you’re a child of God. You were lost, but now you’re saved. You were under the law, but now you’re under grace. And so there’s really dozens of things that are now brand new.

You were without the Holy Spirit. Now you do have the Holy Spirit. The Bible says you were alienated from God. Now you’re a child of God. So all these brand new conditions exist at the moment you believe in. That’s what I was saying. But it doesn’t mean that necessarily your life has changed at the moment of belief. in saying that you are a new creature, you’re born again, you’re a child of God, but it’s in the context, it’s not saying your behavior changes at the moment you believe.

Well, if you are born again, all right, and you respect your life, but you are at that present time, you can see about it, that should be a change that someone can see from that particularly individual that they say where this is not the same mom but this is not the same meal and that’s it? Well, you know, that would be nice and that’s ideal and I like the word should that you just use because should is the case but it’s not necessarily so.

When I was so turned off by the church I was raised with, the night I trusted Christ, I told God that I will never serve you but I’ll take you up on your free gift of eternal life. And for me, it was a business deal. I just really was ready to abandon church forever in my life at the point when I heard the gospel. And I said, if it’s a free gift to go to heaven, God, I’ll take you up on it.

And I knew God had to respond to that because God can’t lie. And for a year, I was a secret believer and there was no change. In fact, nobody even had a clue that I was a believer for one year. I never revealed it. And a year later, God brought me to my knees. He chastens the link with believers, and he certainly got on to my life, and he brought me to a place where I dedicated myself to Christ.

Nobody followed me up. Nobody even knew I was saved. But God followed me up. And He brought me to a place where in my dorm at the University of Florida, I got on my knees and I dedicated my life to Christ, and I’ve served Him ever since. But you don’t have to change your life to be saved, and if I hadn’t changed my life, I still would have been safe. And that’s what I’m talking about in this first. Yeah, okay, you did a good job on stand.

But the other part, I’m trying to figure out, you have, to me, I’m getting the impression that you want the whole world after you get to say the way to wait at least a year, let you do it before you wake up and start doing what the whole spirit wants you to do from the beginning what you get to do. I’m not asking the world, I wish I hadn’t made my decision sooner. And obviously I wish everybody would make their decision much sooner too.

But that decision, whether you serve or don’t serve, has really nothing to do with your salvation. That has to do with the Christian life. And that would be great. If every believer did that, if you’re honest, read first and second Corinthians. Those people didn’t. And those people were involved in adultery and and extortion, and lying, and stealing, and cheating, and everything else as believers. And those letters are lengthy because they’re written to correct that. Thanks for calling Dr. Reverend Anonymous from Pasco County.

In John 647, Jesus said, Verily, verily I sayStorage, He that believeth on me, that means to trust on me, has everlasting life. Nothing there about confession, nothing about baptism, nothing about confirmation, Nothing about the Christian life. Simply one condition for salvation that is the believer to trust on Christ as Savior. So that’s the key. And verse after verse after verse can be used to support the fact that the one condition that brings about salvation is trust in what Christ finished for us at the cross.

For example, the dying thief. Think about him as God’s example of how people are to be saved. Obviously, there was only one thing that he did. Only one thing he could do. He was dying. And he simply looked over to Christ and trusted Christ. And Jesus said, today, thou shall be with me in paradise. So salvation happens at a moment of time or an instant of time at the moment of belief or trust. No, the dying thief simply trusted Christ, and upon that Christ said, right now you can know that when you die, you’re going to meet me in paradise.

You’ll be today with me in paradise upon his death. He would join the Lord. Salvation is not based upon us continuing anything. That would be works. And so there’s nothing for us to do but receive what Christ has already done. The Bible tells us, in fact, in Ephesians 2, 8, and 9, 4 by grace, grace meaning mercy, and Meredith favor, are you saved through faith in Jesus Christ? And that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.

So notice it says two things there. Salvation is not of yourself, which would mean there’s nothing that you or I could do to gain our salvation. And secondly, it says it’s not of works, lest we should boast or brag and say that, hey, we did something to bring about this salvation. So we can’t brag, we can’t boast and say that we did anything, but we simply trusted in what Christ did for us and point out a couple of the simple verses even John 3 16, for God still loved the world, all of mankind that he gave his only begotten Son, whosoever believeth, that means the trust in Christ should not perish, but have everlasting life.

If you don’t embrace Jesus Christ as being God, took on human flesh and went to the cross and shed his blood to pay for your sin, you’re not saved. You’re not going to heaven. If you haven’t trusted Christ yet, you need to just say, Lord, I’m the sinner. And we all are, but I trust Jesus Christ right now as my only hope of heaven. I trust Jesus Christ that he died and shed his blood was buried and rose again from the dead.

In the moment you do, God, up in heaven, saves you. And I pray that you do that. make that second decision to serve him, that’s where rewards come in and God’s blessings. We have Benjamin. Benjamin, welcome to Bibleline from Clearwater. Good morning, Dr. Hank. Good morning. This is Benjamin. I have two questions for you please. One, I believe in the eternal life and I believe that we do not lose our salvation. Now can you explain to me Hebrew chapter 2 verse 3?

And the second question is when Jesus comes, he going to bring our soul or he going to bring our spirit. Thank you. And he’ll bring our soul and spirit because they are separate but yet they’re never separated from each other. On the other in Hebrews chapter 2 and verse 3, it’s not talking about loss of salvation, but it’s talking about neglecting the salvation we have and how we’ll lose out on reward. Read the verses very carefully and it doesn’t say what will happen if we reject salvation, but if we neglect it.

And if you don’t serve the Lord, you’re going to have no rewards in heaven. So it’s a warning here that believers need to be diligent because the Lord is going to evaluate us one day and judges for rewards. So hopefully that helps Benjamin and your soul and spirit are always together. So they are not the same thing, but they are always together. So when he comes back, our soul and spirit will come back and our new bodies will be given.

We have Armando in St. Petersburg and he asked about Isaiah 6520, a new heavens in the New Earth. Well, it’s in the New Testament as well. 2 Peter 3, 13, also Revelation 21, 1. John says, I beheld and loathe the first heaven, the first earth was passed away, and I saw a new heavens and a new earth. So this earth is going to be destroyed at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ, and God is going to create a new heavens and new and that’s where we’ll spend the eternity.

Armando, that’s Revelation 21 verse 1. Take a look at it. Thanks for your call. We hope that you’re learning with us. As you listen to this question and answer segment featuring Dr. Hank Lindstrom. If you’d like to hear today’s program again, then please visit our website at BibleLineMinistries.org. There, you’ll be able to replay today’s program in our audio archives, as well as access other resources, including articles on a variety of topics written by Dr. Lindstrom. In addition to many other resources in our online store, it’s time for us to take a short break now.

When we return, we will continue this question and answer segment and then hear more Bible teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Don’t go away Bibleline will be back in a moment. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We’re living in a time when we’re experiencing a lack of Bible. It seems like churches have kind of turn this picket off where the Bible is not really being taught anymore. And I know that that’s kind of a scary thing as we find that the Word of God is becoming more and more scarce.

Let’s take a look at the Bible and we find in the prophet Amos in the Old Testament, it says in verse 11, Behold the days come, sayeth the Lord God, that I will send a famine in land. a famine of bread, nor a famine for thirst of water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. I think we’re entering into that famine, and I think it’s only going to get worse. And in the tribulation period, it’ll be very difficult to hear the word of God.

Let me quote that again. Amos 811, and the speaking of the last days here on the planet, and it says, Behold the days come, sayeth the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of read, nor a thirst for water but of hearing the words of the Lord.” Wow! So we find here that it will be more difficult. And I think it’s happening and it’s amazing to me that preachers have failed to follow the charge that God has given to them.

Let me just review that charge with you if you might, and you might want to look at it with me in 2 Timothy chapter 4. we find here is the charge given to every pastor, every preacher. It says in verse 1 of 2 Timothy chapter 4, I charge the therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing in his kingdom. Well, Christ is the judge and he will come back and judge when he comes back and it says here he’ll judge the quick and the dead.

What’s that talking about. Well, quick is an old English word. It means those that are living. So, it’s talking about he’ll judge the living and those that have died at his appearing. This is talking about the rapture. This is talking about the judgment sheet of Christ. This is talking about Christ evaluating believers. We’re going to have to give it a count. This is written in the charges here to believers. I charge you, therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living, that is those that are caught up at the rapture to meet the Lord in the air, and those that have already died, who are believers that will be given their resurrection bodies at that point in time when Christ returns, and it says notice it’s at his appearing.

So we find here that Jesus is the judge and he’s going to have us accountable. Verse 2, what are we going to be judged concerning? Well, number Number one here, preach the Word. Amazingly, the Word of God is like a scarce thing to find anymore. The famine is here. And it says, preach the Word. This is the charge to every believer. Be instant in the season, out of season. In other words, there is no special season for the preaching of the Word of God.

It should be in season, out of season, even when people don’t want to hear it. God says it needs to be preached. We prove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. And it says why? Verse 3, and here we have it, and this is what we’re living now, seeing, for the time will come. I believe it has come. This is 2 Timothy 4, 3. For the time will come, I believe it has come, when they will not endure sound doctrine.

They will not endure it. What it means is they will not want to hear sound doctrine. They won’t endure it. will put up with it. But after their own lusts, they will heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. They want to have their ears tickled. They want to hear what they want to hear and not what the Bible has to say. In verse 4, they will turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables. That’s right.

Amazing, isn’t it? It says the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. We are living now in that particular time in history. And we find more than ever people are wanting to be entertained. They really aren’t concerned about what kind of message is being given. They just want to be entertained. And look at how entertainment is taken over in the worship services today. You don’t read anything in the book of Acts in the early church of praise and worship.

Nothing. It doesn’t say that they came together for praise and worship. It says they came together in Acts chapter 2 after the preaching of Peter at Pentecost. It says for the Apostles’ Doctrine, they came to learn the Word of God. What has happened today? You like to help Bibleline continue in your area? You can! Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And now back to Bibleline. Welcome back from the break. We hope that you’re learning with us as you listen to Bibleline and hear real-life questions with scriptural answers from Dr.

Hank Lindstrom. Please make plans to join us and open your Bible as we also present in-depth studies covering a variety of biblical topics. Now, let’s return to our question and answer segment, and then you’ll hear more Bible teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We’re now going to go to Robert, and Robert is in Tampa, Florida, and Robert, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the Earth. I wanted to check to see if you had caught the History Channel on Exodus. I did not.

I watched it as two hours long and it’s about the Jews of course being in Egypt, Joseph being their leader in so many years passing and they’re coming out and crossing the reeds or the rims and this program is, I can’t believe how. They don’t get the story right do they? No, no, they do get it right. It’s incredible. They named the Pharaoh according to hieroglyphs in a city that’s only recently been uncovered. His name was Amosa, which translates to brother of Moses.

And that’s in the hieroglyphs. And in this same city, this researcher locates, I don’t know what it was, caves or an old stone building. And in ancient Hebrew on the walls, the story of Joseph and their stay in Egypt, and it’s just incredible. I’ll have to check it out. I know that they didn’t cross the Red Sea, they crossed the Red Sea, and I certainly disagree with that if that’s what they presented. What he presents here about where they crossed and why is very convincing.

whole two hours are really terrific. Generally they say the reeds see because it was a shallow marsh and they could just walk across but that really presents a big problem I think because that’s a greater miracle than the real miracle that the Bible describes. That would mean the whole Egyptian army drowned in about six inches of water. That is a joke. I think that the overall of this two hours is it completely supports the Old Testament. It just completely support it and we’ll check it out and I appreciate you alerting me to that Robert and we’ll see oftentimes those programs though distort truth and we’re gonna go to Bob and Sarasota and Bob welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Good morning Hank how are you? Good. I have a couple of questions. Can you turn your radio down I can hear in the background. How’s that? Much better. father of the Antichrist. Well, you know, in a sense, Satan is, but obviously probably is a human being that Satan will empower and in dwell, but as far as his lineage or something we don’t know. The Bible hints back in the book of Genesis in chapter 3 15 there would be a seed of Satan and obviously everybody in the human race has been contaminated by Adam’s sin prior to our salvation all called children of Satan in John’s gospel chapter 8 verse 44.

So some one in the human race that has that a dynamic nature for Adam will be indwelt by Satan and empowered by him and that will be the Antichrist but as to whose parents are I don’t know. Yeah, out of the jackal all that’s not in the bible that certainly uh… hollywood uh… uh… ok then i’ve been victimized by yeah you have Yeah, okay, and let me ask you a question about water baptism and say, and I witness you baptizing people, and I know that you present them clearly the gospel.

Take the plunge with them as it were at the police or parents. Now I know little kids get saved and they understand and believe and well, you know, only God knows that you know, and obviously the parent and I try to screen people to make sure that they truly, you know, have understood what they’re doing and that they’re doing that. as a testimony of their faith, that they’re saved, and they know that baptism doesn’t save them, and that they are simply giving a picture of how their cleansed of their sin by the blood of Christ, not by the water.

Sometimes that’s going to happen. There are people who do things for the wrong reasons, and people join churches for the wrong reasons. People, I’ve seen them witness for the wrong reason. But even God can use that. that are witnessing I guess, because that’s the thing that a church wants them to do, and people get saved in spite of it. Because if you give out the gospel, people will get saved. And they may be doing it for the wrong reason.

So God is going to sort all that out one day, and then maybe the person will come to realize later that they didn’t understand what in the world they were doing and then decide to be baptized. Again, I don’t believe that baptism should occur twice if you do it right the first time that it’s a one-time testimony of your salvation but there are people who get saved and they’ve already been water baptized well then they definitely need to get baptized again because that baptism didn’t count because it wasn’t a testimony anything if you weren’t saved so i don’t know we’ll just have to wait and see in the lord will reveal it all one day but if we uh…

worried about that too much we wouldn’t baptized anybody if yes for sure uh… one more question i’ll get out of the door where i want to know how jude is scary untold miracles that don’t appear and not be a believer and i know satan blinds people and all that but i you know in light of that could you just touch on that and i’m gonna have a listen thanks for a moment that was bob and and jude is that is amazing is that jude is was never a believer and yet he was very close observing christ and seeing the miracles that he did there’s going to be a time again during the millennium when Satan and his angels will be bound.

And basically, Christ is going to be on the earth visible. His word will go out from Jerusalem. And there will still be people that will reject the Lord as their Savior. So again, it shows the wickedness of the human heart. That’s the answer I have to give you. Jeremiah 17.9 says the heart, the mind is deceitful above all things and is desperately wicked. The Bible tells us that it is such that we can deceive ourselves. Isn’t that amazing that we can be self-deceived?

Evil nature is such. So in any case, John 664 is one of several verses that demonstrate that Jesus knew that Judas was not a believer and that Judas was not a believer, and that’s the reason why he went to help. We have John in Seminole, Florida. John, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hello, my name is John, Dr. Hank. I left a church in Seminole after confirming it with a couple of other Christian friends. And including you, I called and had to leave the church just because they were one of these churches that preached that you had to be baptized in order to be saved.

and if you’re not baptized, you’re not going to be saved. And I just had a real problem with that. And I was baptized in the church. And I said, I know it’s a testimony as to what Christ actually has done for you, but I just don’t buy into the fact that unless you are baptized, you’re safe. So I left. I went to another church, and it is a beautiful church. But there’s just no teaching going on. I actually went to your church and felt great.

I mean you had a real good sermon and you’re a little over an hour away which is I guess okay I guess I’m just going to have to continue doing that until you get your internet thing up. I mean how do you feel about, I mean if I can’t find a church that’s offering some the right teaching. Well we don’t. I know definitely that you’re not to go to a church with bad doctrine so obviously it puts the people in the bind when…

If you go with his wrong doctrine, the Bible says, come out and be separate, or you’ll be a partaker of their sins and of the punishment that God will hold on you for that. It says in Ephesians 5, 11, it says, have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. And Romans 16, verse 17, it says, mark those which have doctrine, confer to what you’ve learned from the Bible and avoid them. them. So obviously we’re put in a box there.

But there’s got to be someplace on your search. We pray that you’ll find one. But in the meantime, we’re going to make our church service available for people that cannot find a good church and they are far away enough that they really it’s not convenient to drive here. But we’re just going to do that. We’ve just had- Just keep searching, you say it. Keep searching. But hopefully our worship service on the internet will help in the meantime. Yeah, okay.

Thank you, John. All right. Bye. That was John in Seminole. That is a problem today. You know, in Second Timothy, chapter 4, says that the time would come and it has come when they would not endure sound doctrine. But after their own lust, they would heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. They would turn away their ears from the truth and be turned on to fables. We see that happening today. It’s very very difficult to find a Bible believing teaching church anymore Sound in doctrine and it’s a part of the in-time prophecies where there would be a departure from the body of truth as Containing God’s Word first Timothy chapter 4 verse 1 says the Holy Spirit speaks expressly then the latter days There would be those who would depart from the faith.

That is the body of truth is containing God’s word and we’re seeing it happen That concludes today’s question and answer segment. There’s no other topic that is more important to us than the gospel of Jesus Christ, and it was Dr. Hank Lindstrom’s mission to spread the gospel. Lindstrom’s audio CDs on how permanent is your salvation, plus many others. Now join us as we return to today’s teaching series. We’ve got some exciting adventures ahead of us and no doubt we’re going to experience some things that we’ve never been a dream that we’d never be able to do as believers in Christ. These will be all true for all of us. So now we know anyway and we’re not going to cover all of these things like a riot tonight, Let’s look at verse 9.

It says, then the Lord shall be king over all the earth. In that day there shall be one Lord in his name one. So when that happens Christ is going to be king over the entire earth and he’ll rule over the earth from Jerusalem as king of kings and Lord of lords. What a day that’ll be. So obviously he comes back in his feet touch on the Mount of Islands. What is interesting in connection with that, and if you hold your place here in Ezekiel, forget Zachariah now, but if you turn to Acts chapter 1, when Jesus died, he came back from the dead, and then he showed himself alive for 40 days and taught his disciples.

In Acts chapter 1, page 1148, we find it says in verse 8 that he speaks his final words. And these are the words that are marching orders for this age. You will receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and under the the most parts of the earth. After he spoke that, what happens? Verse 9, when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven, as he went up, he whole two men stood by them in white apparel. These are angels, notice they appear as men. Which also said, you men of Galilee, why stand you gazing into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven. Verse 12 says, then return thee to unadress them from the Mount called Olivet or the Mount of Olives.

Christ was standing on the Mount of Olives when he left this place 2,000 years ago. And when he comes back, we’re told he’s going to come back in like manner. He’s going to come back to the very place where he left from. So Christ was on the Mount of Olives when he was here the first time when he left. And when he comes back, he’s going to come back maybe to the exact spot on the amount of odds from which he took off from.

Isn’t that fascinating? And notice he left visibly, physically and apparently slowly enough so everybody could watch it. They watched him just go up out of sight. When Christ comes at the second coming, verse after verse tells us he’ll be visibly seen by everybody on the planet. He’ll come back in all of his glory and he’ll touch back on the same mountain from which he left, but this time he’ll split the mountain. If you go to Israel, they have three different denominations that argue over the exact spot where Christ did when he left.

Nobody knows. But it’s interesting. But one of them, a popular place where people go, is a, exposed to the sun, a piece of rock and there’s a footprint in it and that particular denomination says that was the exact spot that when Christ went up he left his footprint in the surface and I think to myself that’s just too much for me to handle. That’s I think caused by watching too much Superman. They apparently believe that Christ had to push down to go up.

I don’t think he had to do you? No. But if you You watch Superman, I always used to watch that as a kid, and you know he would stoop down and put his arms straight out, you know, and he would then launch. He would kind of kick off the ground and off he would go. And I think that’s the mentality of those that have marked these spots on the Mount of Orleans. They believe that he pushed down and left his foot imprint in the rock as he went up.

I don’t think Christ had to do that. I just had to throw that in because you see some of the things. go to any light candles and they pray and they feel like that boy that’s the exact spot where his foot was and I don’t buy into that. But Christ did leave from the Mount of Olives and he ascends into heaven. Let’s try to get a visual now. We’re going to Ezekiel and we’re going to see Ezekiel now actually watching this happen as Ezekiel is caught into the future just as we read a little bit ago in chapter 8 of Ezekiel, he was caught into the past and saw the past occur and goes back into the present of when he was living and tells those elders in his living room and the children of Israel why God did what he did in allowing Jerusalem to be destroyed and for them to be carried away captive into

Iraq. They probably weren’t very happy, but it was because of all the abominations that the leadership committed on top of the Temple Mount platform. So here we have verse 1 of chapter 43 of Ezekiel 889 as the page number afterward. He brought me to the gate, even the gate that looked toward the east. That’s the gate we’re talking about that’s walled up today. And 2, he says, Behold the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east.

He remember his feet touch on the Mount of Olives, which is to the east. And now he proceeds west. And says his voice was like the voice of many waters. If you read Revelation chapter 1, that’s exactly the way that Christ is described when he comes in Revelation chapter 1. And notice the earth shined with his what? Glory. In Matthew 24, this Christ will come back in all of his glory. The Bible says there will be lightning as it streaks across the heavens and lights the sky.

Christ will light the heavens with His return as He, the earth shined with His glory, His voice is like the voice of many waters. And notice it says in verse 4, And the glory of the Lord came into the house, that’s the third temple, by way of what? The gate whose prospect is toward the east. So He comes right through that gate. So if you’re on the Temple Mount, and you’re looking east, you see Christ coming out of the sky, touching on the Mount of Olives, the Mount of Olives splitting, then here comes Christ from the east to the west, goes right through the gate that’s walled up, enters into the Temple area, and now he goes into that third temple that’s been rebuilt, and notice his glory fills that temple, that house.

He enters into the house by way of the gate which whose prospect is toward the east. So the Spirit took me up and now moves Ezekiel into the inner court so he could see what’s going on now on the temple mount where the temple is. And it says here he brought me into the inner court and behold the glory of the Lord what filled the house. So now the glory is back to the temple. It resided in the tabernacle in the wilderness.

It resided in the temple in Jerusalem built by Solomon. But God said, I had to leave my house because of the abominations that you guys did. And he allowed that house to be destroyed. But now we find the Spirit took me up. Verse 5 brought me into the inner court and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house. And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house. So here is Jesus talking to Ezekiel who is in the courtyard of the temple mount platform and the voice he hears comes out of the temple from whence Christ entered and filled it with his glory.

And I heard him speak to me out of the house and the man stood by me. Verse 7, He said unto me, Son of man Ezekiel, The place of my throne and the place of my of the souls of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever.” He’s saying, this is where I’m going to park for the next thousand years. This is where the soul of my feet will be planted, and this is where I will sit upon my throne ruling here over Israel.

And so he says, I’ll dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever, and my holy name shall the house of Israel no more to file. Neither they nor their kings by their hoardom nor by the carcasses of their kings in their high places. So he says that’s not going to happen anymore. I’m parking here now. I’ll be ruling and there’ll be no more nonsense as Christ will rule over the whole earth and there’ll be no more false gods and false worship on that temple mount.

But it’s It’s an exciting look into the future as to what would happen. And I love, it’s almost blow by blow what will happen. So if you just kind of go along with Ezekiel here on his trip into the future, these things haven’t happened yet. Ezekiel’s caught into the future, sees Christ coming back from the east touching the Mount of all his first, then entering into that gate which is facing there toward the east, entering coming east to west into that temple that will be rebuilt.

It’s not there right now. And filling that house with his glory and then talking to him out of the temple and saying, this is where my throne will be established. This is where the souls of my feet will rest here upon the earth as Christ will rule the earth from Jerusalem. The Bible says that people will come up to Jerusalem from all over the world to hear Christ teach. Thanks for listening to Bibleline with Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We’d like to continue with Dr.

Because obviously this is not what is happening today. And we are living in a time when they are not enduring the teaching of sound doctrine. but they are actually heaping to themselves teachers when their ears to be tickled and they’re turning away their ears from the truth and are being turned unto fables.

Well, this is something that’s not new. The Word of God has warned about this time and how that we are experiencing it right now. I was raised in church. I went through every process my church had to offer, but yet I was never, never saved. That’s sad and when I finally got saved at age 18, I wondered how could this happen? How could I go through 18 years of church and never hear the truth about how to be saved?

Well, obviously that is typical of this time in which we’re living in and we are More and more seeing that today as we find the Word of God is not being preached The Old Testament foretold also this time of spiritual famine, and we just read about it from Amos 8 verse 11. A famine would come, and it would not be for bread nor for thirst for water, but for the hearing of the Word of God. That’s the kind of time we’re living in now.

And you know, maybe you’re hearing today the Word of God, and if you have been searching, My friend God will make sure that you hear the gospel message before you die. And maybe you’re hearing it today for the first time. It’s the message of the death, the barrel, the resurrection of Christ. And when you trust that Jesus died for your sins and paid for them in full by His death and shed blood was buried and then rose again from the dead, God says that He saves you.

It’s a wonderful gift and there’s nothing that we can do. He did it all. He paid it all. And obviously, the moment you trust Christ, according to the Bible, you receive this wonderful gift of eternal life. Most people think that you have to wait until after you die to find out whether you have eternal life or not. And that, of course, is because they have heard a false message all their life and they’re They’re counting on their works, and because their works haven’t all been completed and done, and they have to wait until those works are weighed in some great big scale one day.

They have to wait until after they die until all the works are in, and they can weigh them all and calculate whether you deserve to make heaven or not. That’s not what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches our sins were paid for 2,000 years ago at the cross in full, and because Because they’re fully paid for, you can receive at the moment you believe ever lasting life because it’s already paid for. Your salvation has been purchased. God is offering it to you as a gift.

And if you simply receive it, by faith, by trusting that Jesus Christ died for you, God saves you. Somebody once said that faith is the hand that reaches out and takes the gift from God’s hand. is offering eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gains only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Right now you could have everlasting life if you would only place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Would you do that right now? Just whisper the prayer, Lord I am a sinner, I don’t understand much, but right now I trust Jesus Christ as the one who died and paid for my sins at the cross of Calvary and I receive right now that wonderful gift by trusting that Jesus Christ I’d have paid for my sins and wishes to offer me eternal life. I said to the President, I hope you’ve done it. It’s a most important decision you’ll ever make in your life.
