He is the man who might rebuild the third temple his Organization the temple Mount faithful have been cutting the stones multi-ton stones I think the cornerstone weighs about six tons and these stones are all cut and ready to go to to resurrect the Third Temple. There have been two before that, the one built by Solomon, destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar in 606 BC, the Second Temple built after the Babylonian captivity and was called Herod’s Temple because he beautified it and refurbished it.

And that was destroyed by the Romans in 8070. And the Third Temple is yet to be built and the preparations have been made, and we are going to be talking about that tomorrow night. Obviously that will happen after the Rapture, which means that we are getting close. We are about ready to be caught out to be with the Lord. So tomorrow night, the 17iago from 7-9-30 come and be with us for Gers-han Solomon, directly here from Jerusalem, in Orthodox Jew, who is the head of the Temple Mount Faithful.

He was there on the Temple Mount when Mosheldai Ann conquered Old Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in the Six-Day War in 1967. And it was from that point on he felt that God was calling him to rebuild the Third Temple. So let’s see what happens. You might touch a hands with or shake hands with the very man that God is using to build the Temple that Jesus will return to. The Bible says in Malachi that Christ will return suddenly to his temple.

There is no temple there right now, but there will be one right after the rapture and Jesus will return to that third temple. Well, we’re excited about a lot of things. This Sunday is our third Sunday at say, dinner day. That means if you’re in town or nearby, you can come to the morning worship at 10.30 and then you can stay for the dinner. We’d love to have you. We’re also having a baptism that afternoon at three o’clock. So you’re welcome to attend that.

If you have not been water baptized, you can be one of those who will join our baptism. I’d be honored to perform your baptism. If you would like to join us and do it, it will be in a beautiful lake just north of Bible and Headquarters at Calvary Community Church. And we’ll have maps where we can send you a map or email you map and you’ll be able to find it easily. If you come to the morning service, stay for dinner, we’ll motorcade up together and we’ll have a great time.

It’ll be 3 o’clock this Sunday afternoon the 20th of August will have a baptism. You’re welcome to be a part of that. Give us a call. If you were baptized before, you were saved doesn’t count. If you were baptized as an infant doesn’t count. Believers baptism in the New Testament is where someone who who has become a age to trust Christ and is giving testimony to the fact that they have been cleansed of their sin by the blood of Christ.

Water doesn’t take away our sin. Water is merely symbolic, but God has asked every believer to be water baptized as a picture of the cleansing that they have had of their sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. So these are exciting days and certainly we are looking forward to what’s happening. We know that August 22nd has a lot of people concerned. Homs is the day when, estyles will come and there will be a holocaust which will destroy all the Gentiles, infidels, those that are not Muslim in the world.

August 22 might be a day to be looking at to see some activity. Of course, the day of the Rapture might be if Lord were to come this year. I’m not saying He will, but the Feast of Trumpets is the most reasonable date for whatever your Christ returns for Him to come on that day. There are seven feast days in the Bible, and all of them are a part of the picture of Christ, His first and second-comings. The first four were fulfilled literally on the day.

Christ died as the pastor. The Passover Lamb, 1 Corinthians 5-7 says, for even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. Jesus died as that Lamb and He died exactly when Israel was offering up their Passover Lamb. And then He was buried during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. He rose on the Feast of First Fruits Day. 1 Corinthians 15 tells us Christ is the first fruit of the resurrection. The day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came and this age began exactly on that day.

It says in Acts 2-1, when the day of Pentecost was fully come, that’s when the Holy Spirit came and this church age began. We believe the next feast in the fall signals the closing of this age. The church age will end at the Feast of Trumpets, which is the same as Rosh Hashanah. This year, September 22, are you ready to be raptured out? It could be that this might be the year. I am not saying that Christ is coming this year, but should He come this year, we may only have a little over a month and we’re going to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, be a part of a group that will never experience death, but be transformed into our resurrection bodies on the way up.

We’d love to have you call today and leave your question or call in and give a question live on the air. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We’re live right now in Memphis, Tennessee on WLRMAM1380. We love to hear from some of you folks there. I know we have listeners, but we don’t hear from you very often. And it’s a toll-free call. Call us at 1-800-576-3771. If only to tell us you enjoy the program or you don’t like the program or you’re listening to the program or that you’re alive.

Tell us something. We’d love to hear from you folks in Memphis, Tennessee. And also we’d love to hear from all of you that are listening in different cities across America including Mobile, Alabama, Pensacola, Florida, Delan, Florida, Sarasota, Florida, of course, all the Tampa Bay area and Cincinnati, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richmond, Virginia, and Utica and Albany, New York, Lansing, Michigan, Flint, and the Second on Michigan, Lexington, Kentucky, and so on and so on. Give us a call. We’d love to hear from you.

Well we have Joyce from Charlottesville, New York. She has a lot of questions we’ve answered some yesterday. Joyce says, only God knows the heart. If you’ve been baptized by an unbeliever, would you have to be baptized again? Well, I believe that Believer’s baptism, if you read Acts chapter 8, you’ll see Philip, the Enoch together, Philip led the Enoch from Africa to Christ, and they both went down to the water. A believer obviously performed the baptism on the unbeliever, the Ethiopian Enoch.

It seems like it would be not fitting for an unbeliever to baptize you. I would think that that wouldn’t really be a testimony of Christ. would have to evaluate yourself, but an unbeliever I think would not be the right one. I would want an unbeliever to baptize me and I would think that you would want to do it the right way. Believers should be baptizing the new believer and certainly it’s exciting. In Richmond, Virginia, John calls in with an all-fair question.

Mark 1616, not water baptism question Well, I believe it’s not. There are ten baptisms taught in the New Testament. If you begin in Mark 1, 8, John the Baptist says, I indeed have baptized you with water, but he, Christ, shall baptize you with Holy Spirit. That’s the end of water in that whole book. You get to chapter 16. Christ has already been crucified. He’s come back from the dead, and Jesus in In his own words, he that believeth in his baptize shall be saved.

He must be referring to the baptism that saves, and that is the baptism that he performs, which was introduced in Mark 1.8, and that’s the spirit baptism. It’s not water. water will not save you and water. John also says from Richmond, Virginia, Paul said, what would separate me from the love of God? It doesn’t exactly read that way, but in Romans 8, 38, and 39 he says nothing. Nothing can separate us. It’s not asking a question what can. He’s listing a lot of things showing that nothing can.

It says I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor things present or things to come. persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities or things present or things to come nor height nor death nor any other creation shall be able to separate me from the love of God. What does that mean John? You’re stuck. Once you get saved, you have to go to heaven with you like it or not. Kicking and screaming, you’re going to be dragged into heaven.

Isn’t that wonderful? Learn to live with it. If you’re a believer, you’re safe forever. That doesn’t mean you have a license to sin. God will discipline the delinquent believer. God can take you home to heaven early in advance of what you thought would happen. In fact in 1 Corinthians 5 you have a man there who is a Christian, he is living in adultery with his mother or maybe his stepmother. He is proud of it, he is not willing to stop.

The Bible says in verse 5 to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of his body, his flesh, that the Spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. This man was turned over to Satan to kill him. His life was taken, but yet the Bible says when Christ returns at the day of Christ, this man will be saved. So yes, you’ll still be saved, but you might go to heaven sinnering your plan on going.

I’m sure that fellow in Corinth got surprised when God allowed Satan to kill him and take his life. 1 Corinthians 11 verse 30 says, because of many of the Corinthians sin in their life, For this cause many of you are weak and sickly and many of you are dead. In 1 Corinthians 10 it talks about 23,000 Christians that God took home to heaven in one day. So if you live as a delinquent believer you can expect God will discipline you and maybe even say I’ve had enough, you’re coming up to heaven now, but you’re still saved.

You’ll never be cast out. Nothing can separate you John. the moment you trust Christ, you are saved forever. Alright we have Shirley in Oldsmar 4 to calling in and she leaves this all fair question. We will have different names or I would rather put a new name in heaven, whereas this in the Bible. Well in Revelation chapter 3 it talks about how the Lord will give us a name and obviously as our parent, as our heavenly Father, when you trust Christ you become born again and God becomes your Father, you become his son or daughter for the very first time.

And as a result, God has the privilege of giving you a name. Here’s the verse, Revelation 2, verse 17 for Shirley in Oldsmar, Florida. He that hath a near let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches, to him that overcometh, let me stop for a moment, an overcomer is a believer. 1 John chapter 5 verse 5 says, who is he that overcomeeth the world? Answer. He that believe eth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. So when you believe or trust that Jesus Christ is the Savior, you are obviously an overcomer.

So when you trust Christ, that makes you an overcomer and then it goes on to say to him, well I give to eat of the hidden manna and And also it says I’ll give him a white stone and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that received it. So he’ll give us a new name. I think some already have gotten their new names. Abram was called Abraham. Sarah I was called Sarah. We know that Jacob’s name was changed to Israel.

We know that Saul became Paul, Simon became Peter, and so some of these got their names I think while they were still living. We’ll have to see. I was named at birth by my parents Henry, but when I got saved it was interesting. The man that led me to Christ began to address me as Hank, and I really didn’t like it. But you know, I couldn’t get rid of it. Finally I thought about this and I said, Lord, maybe this is my new name.

So I identify now with Henry as me before I was saved and Hank is me after I got saved. Now I’m excited about being called Hank because to me causes me to think about the new birth. Now I’m a child of God and maybe this is the new name that God has given to me. I don’t know, but definitely I didn’t choose to become Hank. That was late on me and I just couldn’t shake it. Nobody would ever go back to the old name and I finally submitted and said, I guess that’s what the Lord had in mind.

Alright we have… A number of other offer questions here. Of course, you’re welcome to call and get up on the air with us right now. And the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I was talking to a lady last night. She told me that basically you could lose your salvation. She was suggesting that Matthew 722 taught that they could lose their salvation. This verse does not say that at all. In John 637, Christ says, Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.

That means for no reason. So Christ will never cast out a believer. In John 639 Christ makes a promise that it was the Father’s will that not one person would ever be lost that came to Christ. So if one person were ever lost, Christ would be a liar and the Bible would be wrong. Certainly that could not be. But Matthew 722 is talking about lost people who thought they were Christians who will stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgment, and they will say in that day, Lord, Lord, that day referring to the Great White Throne Judgment described in Revelation 20 verses 11 through 15.

And many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, haven’t we, and they brag in three areas of works? Well, we preached in your name and we healed in your name and we did many wonderful works in your name and then Christ will say I profess unto you, I never knew you. Not I once knew you and I lost you. This is not a saved person being lost. He says I never, I never, I never, I never, I never knew you, depart from me, either work in equity.

What was the problem? They didn’t say Lord, we believed you died on the cross of Calvary and you shed your blood and paid our sin that in full was buried and rose again from the dead and we trusted in your death barrel and resurrection as the means of our salvation. They did not say that, but they did say, Lord, look at all the wonderful things we’ve done. Why we have preached in your name, we’ve healed in your name, we’ve done wonderful works in your name.

Wrong answer Christ says, I’m sorry. I never knew you. Okay, Charles just called in from Memphis, Tennessee and he said people in Memphis are definitely listening. Isn’t that great? Well, wonderful. And thank you for calling in Charles and letting us have that report. Anybody else out there in Memphis? Just call 800 numbers and say, hey, I’m listening. You don’t even have to get up on the air. You can tell our operators here that you’re hearing the program. I just wanted to confirm that you’re alive in Memphis, Tennessee and listening to the Bibleline every day.

We’d love to hear a few folks in Kansas City and those folks in other towns that are listening and apparently enjoying, but are not necessarily calling in. The phone number here, Bible, I’m 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. Okay, we have Tony in Tampa, Florida calls in, he says, when does this happen? on 151, he said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto you, hereafter ye shall see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man. Apparently, maybe not until after we have gotten our resurrection bodies and that we are in our afterlife.

But then we have the spiritual eyesight to see things we can’t see with our physical eyes. And apparently, angels are constantly making a journey back and forth between heaven to Christ when he was here on the earth and will again when he comes back during the millennium. So Tony, I don’t really know the answer, but I think that perhaps what I’m going to have to wait myself and you will have to wait until we get our new bodies. And when Christ comes back during the millennium, I’m sure we’ll see all of this activity with angels traveling back and forth between heaven and earth and we’ll see them ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

Tony, good question. That was John 151. Thanks for calling in from Tampa, Florida. Offair Paul in Largo, Florida calls in and he just leaves us this question. What is the marriage supper of the Lamb? Well, the marriage supper of the Lamb is the celebration during the thousand year reign of Christ when believers will enjoy a wonderful celebration for a thousand years. There are numerous references to the marriage supper of the Lamb, and one of course is in Matthew chapter 22, and it talks here about being in He was invited to the marriage supper.

This is beginning in verse 1. In verse 2 it says the kingdom of heaven, which is a reference to the millennium, is likened to a certain king which made a marriage for his son. Then he sent forth his servants to invite them to come to the marriage supper and the celebration. That will happen during the thousand year of Christ. I believe the entire thousand years is the marriage supper is a celebration of the marriage of Christ who is bride which is the church.

The body of Christ comprise the ball believers from Pentecost until the rapture. You have Bob down in Sarasota and Bob, welcome to Bible on. We’ve taken a lot of offer questions but thanks for being patient. You’re on the Good morning Hank, how are you? Good. My question I believe is fond and tight. It has to do with this missile after one or two admonitions of a heretic or an argument of the person. Could you touch on that a little bit?

If you don’t mind I’m going to hang up and listen. Okay. That’ll be fine. Bob, it’s really… really true and Titus tells us a man that is a heretic after the first and second admonition reject. In other words, don’t waste your time talking to somebody who doesn’t want to hear truth and doesn’t want to know truth because you can just waste a lot of time when they are people that are seeking, people that are wanting to know, people would like to hear that you could take your time and use it wisely and win them to Christ.

Now as long One of the persons willing to dialogue and they’re curious, maybe rejecting Christ, but still open. I still talk to them. But once they shut the door and say, I don’t want to hear this, after the second time I go at them, then I walk away and go on to somebody else. The same principle. I think when Christ sent out his disciples, he said, if they don’t want to hear you, then because he says, kick the dust off of your feet and move on to the next city.

So apparently there are seeking people that God would love to have us be used to tell the gospel of Christ to, and we don’t need to spend all of our time on those who don’t want to hear the truth. Cult members are certainly in this category. They don’t really oftentimes want to hear the truth. I’ve led cult members to Christ, but I’ve led very few compared to those that are not cult members. The cult members are blinded, and they’re so entrenched in their false doctrine that Generally they don’t ever recover themselves out of it and they’re not going to listen I give it a good try a couple of times and then I move on to people that are more interested because obviously God gives us that Insight that we should move on to the ones who are seeking and not spend time with those who don’t want to hear the truth

We have Mike in St. Petersburg and Mike Welcome to Bibleline you are on the air How you doing good Yes. In 2025. And it seems that they don’t really understand, or I need to get a better concept, that they’re old enough to be sentenced to hell, that they don’t receive Christ if they die. Well, the age of accountability is an age that varies in every child. I believe I’ve found the answer after many years of study. It’s in the last verse in the book of Jonah.

The Lord speaks about, apparently none of it was a huge city of over a million in population and the Lord reveals to Jonah that there was 120,000 children that couldn’t tell their left hand from their right hand. So apparently that’s the dividing point. When a child becomes of age to know his left hand from his right hand, then he perhaps becomes accountable. By the way, I know some adults can’t even do that, so I don’t know. But anyway, somewhere young in that allows that each child might develop at their own rate and some would learn that sooner than others become accountable earlier than others.

I think some are born mentally retarded where they would probably maybe never become accountable. Yeah, because you know my wife, she’s a high school teacher and she would have been murdered here in the city of St Pete. Oh boy. So I’m just trying to minister respect them and let them know that the Red or God proclaim that you know you could go to hell if you don’t accept Christ and you get killed out of these trees. That’s exactly right and of course at the age you’re talking about it.

I’m sure they’re accountable because I think that age is pretty young. But yeah, amen. And we have a wonderful book, Mike, that’s called Handbook on Personal Evangelism, and it’ll just give you a lot of wonderful ammunition to use and ideas as to how you might approach it, you know, and bring the gospel to them. I’d recommend that it’s only $12. But it’s also on my website. You can read it there and download chapters or read it right there for free on my website but it’s not the soft cover edition is a wonderful, wonderful tool.

People rave that get it, and I’m sure really bring a lot of clarity to your teaching. I have all of them here. Beautiful. Thank you, Mike. Thank you. All right. That was Mike in St. Petersburg calling in and we are coming up on our break now and then we’re going to come back in New Bible in part two. If your station doesn’t carry the second half, we have a few stations that don’t carry both halves, then you can go to the internet and catch the full program.

And of course, you can always go back time and time again. Last month, we had 13,045 listeners to the radio program on the internet. Are you believing it? Incredible. And also we have our TV program streamed as well. You might want to check that Bibleline ministry.org.com. We’re going to break. We’re going to be right back so don’t change your dial. We’ll be right back in just a moment. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771.

That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Inglenscherman, this is Bible and we just really enjoy bringing Bible and to you, but the ones that really make it possible are our listeners who pray for and give to Bible and we are listeners supported and could not bring this program to you without the regular giving of those that listen to the program and enjoy it. We don’t have a piggy bank, we don’t have a reserve account, we don’t have pledges, we don’t have subscribers, we don’t have anybody underwriting this program.

We are trusting God and wonderfully God has raised up people just like you who enjoy the program and would like to see it continue in their area and like to see it expand out to the rest of the world. And so thank God for all of you. We do praise the Lord that God has raised up many of you and if you would like to consider being a partner that would be wonderful. We can certainly use your help at this time and we’d love to have you become one of our supporters and you can call the 800 number that we keep mentioning and you can give a gift by credit card over the phone or if you ask our operators they’ll recite the address to you and you can send a check by mail.

You can also ask us for an envelope with our address already printed on it and our operators will make sure that you get one of those in the mail. But you can also go to the online bookstore on the website and there’s a place there to give in increments as small as $1 a gift to Bible and so if you’d like to do that you can do that on the internet by going to BibleLineMinistries.org.com and then of course click on the online bookstore and you’ll find everything right there.

We’re excited about on our website right at the first we have a six and a half minute video presentation of the gospel and Many obviously have gotten saved, we believe, through that. And by the way, you can put that on your website if you have a website. If you click to the right of that free, you can take and put that on your website. So you have that gospel presentation for those that visit you on your website. So if you’d like to do that, just look at that video presentation as you open up our website.

click on the right side is the place it tells you if you would like to put this on your website you can do that free charge are our privilege and uh… many are doing that all across america churches and organizations that have websites are putting that video presentation of the gospel on their website and we’re just delighted and humbled that people would do that and we pray that god will use it in a wonderful way to reach many for christ we’re about ready to do by one part to.

We’re going to rejoin some stations that have been on the station break. So keep your radio dial tuned right where it is and we’re going to be right back with Bible and Part 2. So don’t go away. Keep your radio tuned right where it is. Would you like to call Bible and ask Dr. Lynch from a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re through that break and this is Bible and I’m Dr.

Hank Lindstrom and it’s great to be with you. We have a couple things coming up. I want to tell you about tomorrow night, Thursday night, the 17th of August, 7 o’clock. We have Gershahn Solomon. He has flown here from Jerusalem. He will be live with us on the radio in the morning. morning and we will have him at the Holy Land experience over there in Orlando and we have a phone line being set up right in front of the Mach Temple there in Orlando as you’ll talk about rebuilding the real thing in Jerusalem and that will be tomorrow morning.

You will not want to miss tomorrow’s broadcast and also you’ll not want to miss if you can get a chance to get a chance to get a chance to get a chance to get a chance to get a If you’re within driving distance, to come on over and visit with us tomorrow night at 7 o’clock. He will be with us till about 9.30 at night. So come and join us tomorrow evening for Gershon Solomon in person from Israel and Orthodox Jew.

Head of the Temple Mount Taepl. The man who has been spending his life cutting the stones and getting them ready for the third temple. Things are ready. If the rapture happened this year, they could be offering sacrifice. This is again on that Temple Mount before the years out. And of course we know that Christ will return to a third temple that will be standing in Israel. So these are exciting things that let us know that we’re getting close to the Lord’s return.

We want you to come tomorrow night. This Sunday will be the third Sunday of the month. That’s right. That’s when we eat. Oh, I love these dinners. We have some great cooking. We’d love to have you come and join us for the worship service at 1030. If you want to come earlier and attend my adult class and put the kids in Sunday school, we also have another adult class. But you can also stay for the worship service and then stay for the dinner.

And then if you would like, we are having a baptism. And if you have not been water baptized since you’ve been saved, you’re invited to call up and get your name on the list. And we will be glad to include you. I would be honored to baptize you at our 3 o’clock service. It will be a little bit north of Bible and headquarters here at Calvary Community. And we’ll a motorcade on our board. We’ll of course, we’ll give everybody maps so that you’ll be able to find your way and phone them so that you can get lost and guide you in.

But we’ll have a wonderful service on a lake, a front piece of property, a beautiful lake, In grassy lawn runs right down to the water’s edge and will baptize a bunch of people this Sunday by immersion as a testimony of the fact that they’ve been cleansed of their sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. Water cannot wash away your sin. The dying people never was water baptized, he was saved, but every believer really ought to be water baptized as a testimony of the fact that their sins have been cleanse by the blood of Jesus Christ.

If you were baptized as an infant, that doesn’t count. What testimony were you giving when you didn’t even remember even doing it? Your parents might tell you that you were baptized, but that’s not biblical. There is no such thing as infant baptism in anybody’s Bible. If you find that, please let me know. I’ve been studying the Bible for a long time. I’ve never seen it. It’s not in anybody’s Bible. Also, if you were baptized prior to your salvation, doesn’t count, what were you giving testimony to?

I’m a Unbeliever. Throw me into the water. No, of course not. You need to be baptized after you’re saved, which is a testimony looking back to your salvation experience and how you were cleansed of your sin by the butt of Christ at the moment you trusted Christ as Savior. You’re welcome to be a part of it. We recommend you get in on this one because as we go later I love to do these outdoors so it’ll get colder, a water will be colder.

This is going to be about as warm as it’s going to get as far as the temperature of the lake water. So you’re welcome to be a part of that. You can call and inquire and put your name on the list with us and we’d love to do that. Tomorrow night the 17th at seven o’clock, Gershon Solomon from Jerusalem, the man that might We built the third temple and you can shake hands with and listen to and and Actually see the man who God may be Using to build that third temple.

We’re gonna go to the phone lines and we have Jim in Valorico, Florida and Valorico’s west of east of Tampa and Jim welcome to my pleasure on the air Thank you, dr Dr. Lindstrom, I appreciate your ministry and I just sense that the GAN is blessing it because of your faithful preaching and the word and I do appreciate that. My question is sort of the overarching question is false doctrine within the Catholic Church but specifically where does the notion of purgatory come from?

You also touched on infant baptism just a moment ago. Some of those things I am a former Catholic. that was saved in October of 2002, but still have many of my family members that are Catholic and just wanting to know what may be the best way to try to reach out to them in a spirit of love, but with the truth also. Well, I think you’ve got to get them to see what the Scriptures have to say. You have to confront them with the Bible a little bit at a time and just challenge them.

The Bible is the word of God and powerful and living in sharper than any two-edged sword, and that is the weapon. We have a couple of books here. We have one called Two Babylon’s that traces this ancient Babylonian religious system, which is really seen in the Roman Catholic Church today in particular. And those doctrines of purgatory and infant baptism really began long before Jesus ever came. But the infant baptism really was, in a sense, came to its biggest point in the dark ages.

And it was all based on a false doctrine of salvation that included works, including water baptism. And when there was a lot of infant mortalities during the plagues and those different hard Sometimes in the Middle Ages, they wanted to assure that children were saved, so they started baptizing them as infants. And of course, there’s no such thing in the Bible. And also, our baptism doesn’t save. So it can’t be proven or demonstrated from the Bible that this should be done.

And of course, you can see outside the Bible, in this book, two Babylon’s really well documents the historical background of all these different doctrines. We have a second book called Understanding Roman Catholicism that is available that goes through 37 major doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church from their catechism, which if you just go read that I’ve got it on my desk here a few feet away and it’s as boring as reading the other pages or the phone book. But in any case the big quotes are taken out that define the doctrine and then their Bible quotes so you can compare and it’s really quite an eye opener.

It’s just a quick reference system for you to be able to show the contrast between what the Catechism officially says, about 37 doctrines and what the Bible says in contrast. And so a couple of those things will be great in your arsenal of information to use when you’re talking to somebody who’s Roman Catholic. Well, certainly, and I appreciate that. And I have seen numerous references, reference type materials. Could you give me the author of the second one that you have the one that repeats the Roman Catholic?

It’s my Rick Jones. Rick Jones and we have it here. I think it’s a gift of $12 and it’s you can order it. We’ll ship it to you or you can drop by sometime and pick it up. If you’re coming to the Gershine meeting tomorrow night, we’ll have our books all displayed out there for that evening. If anyone wants to pick up any of our resources, our CDs or DVDs, our books will all be displayed there when he’s here tomorrow night.

You’re welcome and that is a good book by Rick Jones understanding Roman Catholicism and obviously you just have to take it slow and They need to see what the scriptures say because the word of God is living in powerful Sharper than any two-edged sword brings life Spiritual life to those that are unsaved and they become born again when they trust the lord We’re going to talk to dave now who is in in the Leon Springs that’s six miles north of the land Florida over the east coast of Florida.

Dave, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good to hear from you. I just want to say thank you for the broadcast being here on WYND. We’re excited about it. Thank you. sure and uh… just wanted to thank you all thinking on your comment about the muslims and uh… boggess twenty-two something supposed to happen and i i feel sorry for him because you know they’re already so deceived but if they’re man with the plan doesn’t show up on the twenty second you know that it’s going to fizzle white the other things with black with the seventy-eight minutes you know predicted fizzle you know johovis witness but they might try to generate something you know they believe it will uh…

bring about a a holocaust not of the jews but of uh… in particular but but everybody that’s an infidel in their in their way of believing things and uh… so they might if he has a new credit to go he might let it go on the twenty second that’s a scary part or he might launch a big attack against israel from iran something might happen to twenty second and obviously this is what people are kind of on edge about is that they might try to force it to happen in a sense, because apparently the men will come at a time of great battles and help Islam win.

So that’s what is kind of frightening about it. They might go ahead and try to force this thing to happen and use the if they got a mass described as a weapon of mass destruction, he might try to use it. Alright, where have you been reading up on this? It’s been on the internet and it’s been on the news and obviously Fox News and everybody else been talking about this. They’ve been, this has been out there lately for the past week or so.

People are talking about this. And in fact, and that’s one of the things is because this leader of Iran has been saying he will give the United Nations his answer about the nuclear program on the 22nd of August. He’s waiting to do something on that day. So we’ll have to see. He’s already got his weapon. He might try to let it go. That’s scary. So we’ll see. I don’t know. You know, it’s all speculation, but it’s got a lot of people up on their edge of their chair here waiting to see what in the world is going to happen on that day because they might provoke the whole thing.

That’s interesting. Yeah. Well, thank you, sir. We win. Yeah, I tell you where the Lord is on our side and so therefore we’re on the winning sign. Yes, sir. Okay Dave, thanks a lot for calling. We’re glad you’re listening up there in the Leon Springs. Apparently that must be a beautiful place, just six miles north of the land, Florida, over on the east, close to Florida. We have off-air Susan, Lansing, Michigan, just called in just now, 2nd Timothy 212.

She wants to know what that verse is all about. I’m gonna go there right now in my Bible, and we will take a look at it. 2 Timothy 2 12 says, if we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us. Let’s talk about rewards. If we suffer or live for Christ and go through persecution and so on, we’re going to be rewarded by different degrees of being able to rule will reign with Christ, but if we deny Him, He’ll deny us rewards, we’ll not be able to have the same as others who have been obedient in serving the Lord.

So the denying part, I’m sure, must be the part you’re asking the question about. So if you deny the Lord time and your talents and your treasures, then He’s going to deny you rewards in heaven. So it’s talking about rewards. And verse 15 seems to carry that through where it says, study to show thyself approved of thy God. That is at the judgment seat of Christ, a workman that needs not to be ashamed. In other words, God is going to reward those that are faithful workmen and others will be ashamed and he will deny you rewards if you deny serving him.

But you will never be lost. It says in verse 13, if we believe not. In other words, Even if you believe anymore, yet he abides faithfully, he cannot deny himself. Once you trust Christ, nothing can undo your salvation even if you believe not. He says, God abides faithful, he cannot deny himself. So he’s going to make good on his promises, and he promised to save everybody eternally at the moment you trust the Lord. even if you stopped believing you would find God would carry on his care his promise and you would be saved in heaven one day we have Tom and palm harbor Florida palm Tom welcome to Bibleline Tom you’re on the air let’s try that again hello Tom you’re on there okay you’re on the air I call Dr.

Hank I’ve been listening if you for years thanks to a question in regards to I’m very secure beliefs and I tell my family as well as my three-year-old crisis. There seem to be a master at this and I appreciate it. What scripture can I quote to myself and to my children in regards to the day Christ does happen to come up, you know, anxiety or the things that are going on in the Middle East? What can I reiterate in my brain to just kind of be a piece with it?

I think naturally we get a little anxious and we hear that maybe today might be the day or tomorrow come to mind on that I might be able to just set those feelings at ease. Well obviously it’s a wonderful thing that we should be looking forward to. I like Titus chapter 2 says that we should be looking verse 13 of Titus 2 for that blessed hope. Christ is the Blessed Hope. The word hope means expectation and in the Bible it’s used in the sense of an expectation that you know and are assured will take place that you excitedly anticipate.

And it says you are looking for that blessed hope which is the rapture when Christ comes back. And the glorious appearing of the great God in our Savior Jesus Christ. I’m going to say that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a unique people, zealous of good works. I love that verse. We should be looking forward to this. This is something that we should be excited about. Well, yeah, it’s like seeing an old friend at the airport.

You get butterflies in your stomach. Yeah, yeah really for sure And obviously as you look at the world, I think we’re being Ready to leave because obviously this world is becoming a Scary place and like we had a caller just a few minutes ago call and said his wife is a school teacher and that several Herstids have been murdered in St. Petersburg, Florida here and they’re just young children, you know teenagers I want to say I got blessed everybody and you know I understand that we all have Things that we’re working on on a daily basis But I just wanted something to cling to because I’m very secure and if today’s the day and if I’m chosen to fight evil I will stand at the sword and do so but I With my children growing every day.

I feel man. They won’t have the opportunity So I know well like somebody once said to get balanced to make your plans as though Christ were not coming for a hundred years, but live each day as though we were coming that day. Ten four, yes sir. That kind of helps you get a little perspective here so that you don’t just stop everything and sit on front porch waiting. But we should be busy living for Christ and carrying out our life’s plans which would honor him hopefully.

And at the same time live saying, boy, he could come today. Well the Marine Corps taught me not to be fearful but it also taught me to be overcome, adapt and improvise. So there you go. Knowledge is power and I appreciate your wisdom. Alright thanks a lot a lot. That was Tom in the Palm Harbor Florida. We have Tim in Clear Water. Tim welcome to Bibleline your own here. Oh yes, Dr. Hank. You guys talk and just reminds me of the old course.

This world is not my home. I’m just a passing through. Amen. But the reason I’m calling is I’m a leader in our Sunday school classes and we’re going to do a study on the cult later on in the fall Okay, you’ve already talked on understanding Roman Catholicism, which is which should be great in a reference But what other references might you recommend that we could use? Couple of things I would the book that we just mentioned earlier about the handbook on personal evangelism and a very simple presentation on how to talk to a Jaws witness, a seven-dad menace, a Mormon, and so on.

And so it also talks about how to talk to an atheist, an agnostic, an evolutionist. So those might be very helpful. But then if you want detailed information about the cults that we have a book here called Kingdom of the Cult, which is in a sense overkill. If you study that about a cult. You will know more about that cult than the cult members coming to your door to talk to you. You’ll embarrass them because you’ll know, I mean, it’s really incredible.

That’s a wonderful tool. Between the two of them, you’ve got plenty of ammunition. One is a nice presentation, how do you approach them, how do you win them in love, and how do you tackle on the false teachings they have and the other one just really exposes up their their whole history and and all their false doctrines that’s it they’re both good and that one that the personal evangelism that sounds great because that’s that’s what our ultimate goal is anyway absolutely you know expose them but they can’t save and get them into heaven exactly and so that’s only a twelve dollar gift and that one is on my website you can read it on the website and download it that way but you probably want to have a copy put in your hand.

Right. Right. Well, I hope that’s helped and thank you, Tim. I appreciate it. We’ll be praying for you teaching children about how to lead cult members to Christ and others. That’s wonderful and we’re excited for you. We’re going to go now to Jeff down in Venice, Florida. Jeff, welcome to my mind. Good morning, Dr. Linson. Thank you for taking my call. My question for you is in the book of 1 John. John continuously keeps referencing Sen beginning and I think it’s chapter one.

He talks about where all with Sen. And then he goes on. I think it’s chapter five and talks about those who continue in Sen. Now is he talking about a habitual center that just will not give up? The whole book of I John is written to believers. It’s written to those that are in the family of God. And how that God deals differently with us than He deals with those that are in the world. And He talks about that in order to have fellowship with the Lord we need to come to the Lord on a regular basis and allow His blood to continue to cleanse us as far as our walk is concerned.

As far as our salvation, we can be assured of our salvation from the get-go. In fact, I John 513 is what I call the written guarantee where it says, these things have I written unto you the believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know that you H-A-V-E have eternal life. So we can know we have eternal life. But then John talks about, and you’ll notice the word fellowship occurs about, I don’t know, three, four times in the first chapter.

and he talks about our fellowship not our relationship our relationship is eternal and that occurs when we trust christ but our fellowship is a daily thing where we have intimacy with the lord and we walk with the lord and and uh… and the lord is real in our lives as we uh… fellowship with him and that’s hindered by sin so he’s telling believers here that they need to uh… be honest enough to recognize they still sin 1st on 1 8 says, If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Then he tells us a remedy in verse 9 about how we need to confess that to the Lord, and he is faithful and just to cleanse us, forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all in righteousness. That’s talking about our daily walk. Then he talks about not being hypocritical in chapter 2, and he says, If you say that you know the Lord, and it means to know him in an intimate way, it is not talking about being saved because we’re already saved.

But he says, if you claim that you know him and you don’t keep his commandments, then he says you’re a liar because it’s inconsistent with intimacy with the Lord to say on one breath you know him intimately and yet you’re breaking his commandments. That’s, that’s, you’re just a liar. You’re not, you’re not a fellowship. And so the whole book It really goes on to get you to face up to the fact that you and I, as a sinner, save by grace.

Still have us in nature and we need to get that under control. The power of the Holy Spirit can give us victory over a similar life and we can live lives that are pleasing to the Lord and we need to be consistent with what we say and what we do. It’s a great book. It’s really all about family life within the family of God as a believer and how to have fellowship with the Lord. John says, we’re writing this to you that your joy may be full in verse 4.

These things we write unto you that your joy may be full. He’s really writing the believers here about having a joyous life and he’s not talking to the lost about how to be saved. This book anticipates your already a believer. Now later in chapter 5 it talks about that Christ is the overcomers. That’s just another example of eternal security. is it not where? Absolutely, yeah, because it’s overcomes and it’s not necessarily us. Exactly. Basically what Christ did for us, by virtue of that, we become overcomers when we place our trust in him because he did that on our behalf as he substituted himself in our place at the cross.

So you can substitute that overcomer, those comments there with the book of Revelation that he who overcomes will inherit the… Exactly. Right, okay. Everybody who is an overcomer, yeah. If it’s written by the same person he’s going to use it in the same context. Oh absolutely Well, thank you very much dr. Hank. I appreciate it Jeff. Thanks a lot Jeff that in Venice, Florida beautiful part of the state of Florida and We’re coming up on the end of the program.
