The sole condition for receiving eternal salvation from hell is faith (trust) in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died a substitutionary death on the cross for man’s sin and rose from the dead. No act of obedience, preceding or following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ may be added to, or considered as a part of, faith as a condition for receiving eternal salvation.

We’d love to have you come by anytime during the week and visit our Resource Center or come by on a worship service on a Wednesday or on a Sunday. That will be over at 10.15 and the worship service will begin at 10.30. You’re welcome to come and if you come at 9.15 you’ll get an abbreviated adult class that I’ll teach and then at 10.9.45 we’ll have the Lord’s Supper and that’s a special service. It doesn’t save, but every believer is obligated, Christ gives a command, this do in remembrance of me. So we know it doesn’t bring about salvation, but it is a time of communion fellowship with the Lord, a precious time of just remembering the greatness of His love and the greatness of His sacrifice as He gave His life, His body was broken, His blood was shed, and we see that in the elements in this very simple supper that God gave to the Church to observe in the interim.
It tells us in Corinthians 11, as often as we do this, that is the Lord’s Supper, we proclaim or teach or announce the Lord’s death till He come. So it points back to the cross. It points forward to the cross to His Second Coming to the Rapture. And we are to do this in the interim in between. I am Dr. Anglinson. This is Bible and we have classes on Tuesday night, three more weeks of the class I am teaching right now meeting the challenge.
And you will find in a great class it will lift up your Christian life and answer to. This is a broad spectrum teaching from the whole Bible on what God is looking for in you and me and how we can meet that challenge and be successful at it. What happens if we don’t? What happens if we do? Already we’ve taught four hours on this and these are available not only on CD which are five dollars a CD or if you get all ten hours it would be ten CDs for a gift of fifty dollars but also we’re offering them on DVD where you can get the video and the sound for just five dollars more for two classes.
have two classes or two hours of teaching on one DVD with audio and video for $15. So instead of paying 10 for 2 just getting CD for 15 you can get a DVD with two hours and it will be video and audio. You might consider that. By the way, we are streaming right now to the internet. You are welcome to go there and check it out any time of the day, any time of the week, Anytime in a month, any time of the year, we’re 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the Internet.
And we have thousands and thousands of people listening by way of the Internet right at this moment. You’re welcome to go there and click on the TV set in the upper right-hand corner of the home page and you’ll be connected to a page that will say on your left click here for Bible and television. On the right it will say click here for Bible and radio. We hope you’ll take advantage of that. And by the way, we’re streaming television and radio.
And by the way, this Sunday, first Sunday, we’re going to actually pull it off, I believe, we’ll be streaming or webcasting our morning message from the pulpit here at Calvary. You can watch it live. on your computer. When you go to the home page there’s a little TV or camera, video camera right below the TV set, click on that and it will say Calvary Worship Service and so this Sunday will be it if you’re able to be near your internet and you are able to attend a good Bible teaching church in your area.
We invite you to join us for our worship service and the teaching of God’s Word given from the pulpit here at Calvary community. the community church where I am the pastor. We’d love to have you be a part of that. So keep all those things in mind and we’re going to Israel. Did you hear that? That’s right. We’re going to leave March 12, 2007, return on March 23. That’s leaving on a Monday, returning on a Friday 12 days later and will be 12 days in Israel.
We’ll fly with El Al. I haven’t I’ve had 13 tours of taken to Israel, but I understand the The food is delicious on the flight. There will be two wonderful meals on the way over. And I understand they serve it on real China with silverware and they give you the royal treatment. We’re going to have a wonderful time in the land of Christ. And I’ve been there and it’s just incredible. That little piece of land that seems to captivate the whole world, as the Bible said it would in the last days, that all nations would become involved over Israel and Jerusalem.
Jerusalem and we see it and Israel would become hated above all nations. We see that coming too, but we’re going to go and see a land that’s quite remarkable. The lowest place on the face of the earth, the Dead Sea, 1300 feet below sea level, the snow-capped mountain year-round of Mount Hermon in the north, the source of the Jordan River. We’ll get to see beautiful valleys, we’ll get to see deserts that are beginning to blossom and boom. We’re going to get to see where Christ was crucified and where He was buried and visit the Tomb of Christ.
It’s going to be great. We hope that you’ll join us and the trip is round trip from whatever your destination or departure city is, whether you have friends or relatives in different parts of the country or whatever part of the country you’re coming from. It’ll be round trip from that city back to your city. 595, Hotels, Meals, Your Flights, Everything is Included. So you might want to call us. We need to have you put a hundred dollar deposit down right away so we can begin to establish this trip.
We’re going to have a great time. It’ll be trip number 14 for me. And we’d love to have you go with me on this trip to Israel. March 12 through March 23rd. If you have your Bible, get it out. We’ll be taking a look at the Scriptures for a few minutes and then we’ll go ahead and take our calls. The phone number, by the way, here it is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Did you know that no one has ever been saved by offering up an animal sacrifice?
The Old Testament was filled with animal sacrifice. From the book of Genesis, early on Abel brings a lamb as a sacrifice whereas King brought the sacrifice of the fruit of his own hands and God rejected Cain’s offering but accepted Abel’s offering. And obviously from the very get-go the Bible tells us that a lamb had to be slain and blood had to be shed for us to be saved. Of course, the lamb that would bring about our salvation was Jesus Christ.
John the Baptist identifies him in John 1.29, behold the lamb of God which takeeth away the sin of the world. All of the sacrifices that were ever offered were simply a reminder of how Christ would come and die to pay for sin. None of them ever took away Let me quote a verse for you. Hebrews 10 verse 4 says, for it is not possible. That means it’s impossible. It’s not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
That’s right. It’s not possible. It’s impossible. The offering up of animals would never take away sin. That’s why Christ would have to come. This wonderful chapter of Hebrews 10 says that’s why God has provided a body in verse 5. 5. It says, A body has now prepared me, and this is a prophecy about Christ coming and how He would come to do the will of the Father, that He would take on a human body, that He would go to the cross, and it says in verse 10, By this will of God, we are sanctified, made pure and holy through the offering of the body.
Jesus Christ once for all. Yes, a sacrifice had to be offered. Yes, blood had to be shed. And the only sacrifice that could ever save you or me from hell is the offering up of the body of Jesus Christ once for all, Hebrews 10-10. We know that Jesus took the blood that He shed at Calvary up to heaven, did you know that? Hebrews chapter 9 verse 12 tells us Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he Christ entered once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
What is saying here is that Christ when he died, after he shed his blood at the cross, he took that blood and went up to heaven and there applied it on the mercy seat in the temple in heaven and satisfied God’s law. If you go into the temple in the holy of holies, it was what was called the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark of the Covenant was a place where the tablets of the law and the Old Testament law and the scriptures were contained.
We know that we have sinned and have come short of the glory of God, therefore we come under the the penalty of sin and the law condemns you and me and everyone else in the human race. In order for God’s law to be satisfied, for God to be a just God and not just throw out the fact that we have sinned, God himself would become the sacrifice in the person of Jesus Christ and shed his blood. Then he takes his own blood right there to heaven and he applies it on the mercy seat which was over the Ark of the Covenant and it is a picture of how Christ’s blood satisfied God’s law and the demands of law that death would be required for sin that you and I, if we paid for our sin, would go to hell forever.
Would be satisfied by Jesus Christ and his death at the cross where he died and paid for your sin and mine and was buried in the dead. What a story the Bible contains. What a great story of a loving God who is just and cannot just say, I am just going to ignore the fact that they have sinned, but he would satisfy his justice by himself becoming the sacrifice and dying and paying the penalty for sin on our behalf so that when we trust Him we would be saved.
You know when Abel offered up his sacrifice he wasn’t saved by offering that sacrifice back in Genesis. It tells us in the Hebrews chapter 11 verse 4 that when Abel offered up his sacrifice He obtained witness by God receiving that sacrifice that he was, the Bible says, righteous. He was already saved and he gave testimony to the fact that he was saved and God gave testimony to the fact that he was saved by receiving the sacrifice. Abel offered a sacrifice that gave testimony to his faith and God gave ยง testimony that he received that sacrifice and that Abel was a saved man and by which he obtained witness that he was.
He was already saved. He was already righteous in God’s sight. Not by His works, not by His deeds. Salvation has never been by works. It’s always been by faith in Christ alone, by faith alone, and able believed in Christ. Way back there in the earliest pages of the book of Genesis, that’s how able was saved. Look at it. In Hebrews chapter 11 verse 4. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. I certainly hope you’ve trusted Jesus, has your Savior.
And if you haven’t, you need to do that. Again, our phone lines are 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to go to Rick in Tampa, Florida. Rick, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Okay. Yes. Turn your radio down. I can hear it in the background. Yes. Dr. Hank? Yes. Dr. Hank? Yes. Yeah, you’re on the air. Yeah, this is Rick from Tampa. I love your show. I try to listen to it every day. I had a question with regard to Revelation 2218.
I was wondering if you could clarify that for me. About taking the name out of the book of life? Mm-hmm. Yeah, in Revelation chapter 22 and verse 17 and 18, it warns about tampering with God’s We’re not to add to it. He says in the first verse of the Spirit and the bride say, come and let him hear the say come and let him hear the first come and whosoever will let him take of the water of life freely.
So this wonderful invitation is based upon what Christ did at the cross and the book Revelation particular is written to reveal Christ. Verse 1 tells us it is the book that is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And he warns in verse 18 that if you add to what this book says about Christ or take away, then you’ll be lost in reality here. And it’s talking about a person who is lost who takes away from what Christ did. Maybe he says it’s not enough.
Maybe you have to add water baptism. Maybe you have to add conformation and penance and Mass and church membership and living the Christian life to get to heaven and the death of Christ was not sufficient to fully and completely pay your sin debt as the Bible proclaims. Then my friend you’ll be lost and in verse 18 it says your name will be taken out of the book of life. On the book of life most people are taught wrong. Everybody’s name is in the book of life because potentially everyone can be saved.
Christ died for every man, woman and child that would ever live. God so loved the world, John 3 16 says, and so God put your name in the book to begin with and if you in your lifetime trust Jesus as your Savior, the promises made in Revelation 3 5 that from the moment you believe God makes a promise he will never bought your name out of the book of life. In other words your name will never come out once you become a believer but if you’re an unbeliever and you die as these here who take away from what Christ taught or what the Bible proclaims about Christ in the Bible.
If they die in that condition, then their name will be stricken from the book at death and they will wind up in hell. So this is not talking about a saved person being lost but is talking about a lost person never getting saved and at death which was their final opportunity to trust the Lord as the dying thief got saved just before he died, maybe moments, maybe minutes before he died, he trusted Christ. And Christ said, today thou shall be with me in paradise.
If you die though without Christ, your name will be blotted from the book. You’ll be cast into the everlasting lake of fire. And you’ll never have any part in the promises of God to live in the holy city that it mentions here in Revelation 22, 18 and 19. So 22 18 are they talking to believers or unbelievers unbelievers so the invitation for 17 is given to the lost and Then he warns them don’t tamper with this book and And today of course we see these modern translations doing exactly that the ones that are affected by the Codex a and b manuscripts Which have been in the custodial care of the Roman Catholic Church for the past 500 years There’s nobody’s ever been able to see these manuscripts.
They’ve never been seen by anyone but the Roman Catholic Church and they’ve simply released copies that I don’t trust that they’re given us really what they accept what they want. And as a result, there have been in most of these modern translations 5,327 deletions. When you talk about subtracting from the Bible, in fact the NIV drops 44 verses in their entirety. If you count up all the words that would encompass several hundreds of words right there that are dropped from the Bible and they’re more subtle deletions where we go.
If you have the New American Standard in the temptation of Christ and Matthew chapter 4, when Christ says, get behind me Satan, that phrase is totally gone from the New American Standard. You know, unless you’re a careful Bible student, you wouldn’t miss these deletions. Satan is very clever. If you added the Bible, people would pick up on that and say, wait a minute, where did that come from? And if you delete, which is what verse 19 is talking about, it’s much more subtle.
So the devil is at work to try to change this book. And if you delete, of course, from what Christ did and saying that his sacrifice was not sufficient to save you, that you must do something of self in addition to Christ, you will not be saved and your name will be stricken at your death from the Book of Life. And you’ll have no part in the Holy City that Revelation 22.19 speaks about. So it says, the limitations of the laws, if you’re saved, then you’ll be chasing, if you mess with God’s word.
Somebody one time asked me if I would do a translation, they were going to underwrite that. And I said, I don’t want to get in trouble with God. It’s too awesome of responsibility. I wouldn’t want to do that at all. Alright Rick, well thank you so much. That’s scary. I backed far away from tampering with this book. God certainly gives a warning here. But this warning is to be unsaved. His love and his desire, the heart of the Bible, which is really summed up in John 3 16, is expressed here again as he says the Spirit, the Holy Spirit and the bride, say come.
All you have to do to be saved is to come to Christ. Christ, trust Him as your Savior and God saves you. And it says here, whosoever will let Him come and take it to the water of life freely. It’s a free gift. And if you simply trust Christ, you’re saved forever. We have Benjamin on the line from Clearwater, Florida. Benjamin, welcome to the Bibleline. Good morning. Good morning. This is Benjamin. I work in the office that I call him in that question.
I will ask you a question. My question is, in Matthew 2025, Matthew talk about the term virgin. That term virgin, they belong to the church or they are Jewish. They are Jewish or at least Gentiles. It’s speaking here of during the tribulation period after the rapture and those that will be encountering Christ at his second coming seven years after the rapture. This is when the bridegroom comes with his bride at the second coming and we notice the five foolish virgins were not saved.
He says in verse 12, I say unto you, I know you not in Matthew 25 12. So they were not saved, and it’s a warning to those living in the tribulation period. They need to get saved before he comes, because when he comes, it’s too late. And according to the Bible, he will slay all the unbelievers on the earth, only the believers which are pictured here by the wise virgins will be invited to enter into the kingdom, into the thousand year reign of Christ.
the hungry for the four thousand of the church or they get your know their Jewish other all Jewish men revelation seven verse four says I heard the number of them were sealed and they were sealed a hundred and forty and four thousand of all the children of Israel so and then names twelve tribes twelve thousand for each tribe and their twelve times twelve thousand is a hundred four to the Lord of thousands Jewish men, they will be saved with God’s witnesses after the church is taken out at the rapture.
I dedicate to you. They will be martyred by halfway through the tribulation. Three and a half years in, Revelation 14, we see them martyred in heaven, singing a new song that only the 144,000 can learn, and we learn more about them there. It tells us that they were all men and that they were all virgin men. the hundred forty thousand were jewish they’re all male and they’re all virgin males and then they’re going to be that’s correct okay thank you very much you’re very welcome and you know it’s a great question and and a lot of questions come up specially because the cults uh…
the seven-day evidence and the job witnesses claim that they are the hundred forty thousand they can’t get along as the which group is going to be the hundred forty thousand but i can tell you the answer that neither one of them will be one hundred forty thousand haven’t been saved yet to be saved after the rapture they’re all jewish they’re all men they’re all mail so if a female thinks she’s going to be one hundred four hundred thousand she’s mistaken if uh…
a man who’s married i think c will be is mistaken and all of the and on top the jewish from one of the twelve tribes of israel to be involved in that We have Angela in Tampa Florida calling in off air says please explain fasting is it something believers should do and for what purpose well guess what Angela everybody fast whether you like it or not in fact when you go to sleep at night your first meal in the morning is called what break fast that’s right it’s called break fast it’s breaking the fast that you actually did throughout the night.
Unless you have an IV in your arm and you’re taking in nutrients all night long, you’re fasting and that’s breaking the fast. What is interesting, and I learned this before, I was saved, I found that when I would take a test, In school, that if I ate before the test, my mind was dull and I didn’t do very well. So basically, I learned a long time ago that before I preach and before I speak and before I do anything significant that I have to use my head to do, I eat several hours earlier.
Because your mind is sharper and clearer when you are on an empty stomach. When you have a full stomach, you get sleepy. I know especially at Thanksgiving, you know what happens. You overeat at that Thanksgiving meal and you know what happens. That’s what happens. So basically if you are trying to search out God’s will, you are studying His Word and you want to really get close to the Lord. The best thing you can do is fast and that is do it on an empty stomach and your mind is much sharper and clearer and you’re going to find out what God has to say to you.
Angela, I hope that helps. We all fast and I fast all the time. I usually eat my breakfast on Sunday morning very early between 7 and 7.30 and I don’t preach until 10.30 so I want to get several hours distance between that meal and my preaching. lunch I always eat after church is over and Sunday evenings I eat after church is over so I don’t eat before church because it dulls your mind and so I fast in that way all the time anything significant where we need to be keenly aware of what’s going on we need to fast to have our mind at the sharpest and best degree of focus we have to go to break and we’ll be right back so keep your radio out to you right where it is.
And I’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Inchlisterman. It’s great to be with you. It’s not new. It’s a hundred year old book but brand new printing and it’s a gem of a book. One of my favorites in my library, and I’m so glad it’s available again for a gift of $20. Jesus is coming. This book created such an awareness of the doctrine of the second coming of Christ that many churches across America over a hundred years ago really got excited and pastors began to study and write about it and we had an explosion of knowledge about the return of Christ as people begin to dig into the Bible and find it.
This is the book that really sparked that interest more than any other book I believe. We also have some great other books on theology. We have the handbook to theology by Paul Ns, E N N S and that’s for gift of $35. We have basic theology by Charles Rirey for gift of $30. And these are all great additions to your library as well as the Scofield Bibles and CDs and DVDs of my teachings that are available for you to enjoy learning.
The Book of Revelation is one of our most popular ones. We have 12 hours of teaching on CD on the Book of Revelation. You might want to add that to your resources at your home. We are looking forward to meeting you and if the Rapture happens we will meet you in the air but otherwise we hope we will get a chance to meet you here on this earth sometime. Feel free to come by and visit us if you ever come into Florida, come down and see us here at Tampa and maybe join us for a worship service.
This Sunday by the way is going to be the first Sunday of the month we are going to have the Lord Supper at 9.45. It will be over at 10.15 and we will have our morning worship at 10.30. You are welcome to come and join us for all of that in the morning. If you come at 9.15 you will be in an abbreviated class of mine for the adults and then at 9.45 we will have the Lord suffer at 10.15.
It is concluded and we will have a 15 minute break in the morning worship at 10.30. We are all done by noon. Love to have you come by. Hope you will. You are most welcome. We are going to Israel. We are so excited. We will leave March 12th and come back on March 23rd. That is leaving on a Monday coming back on a Friday, 12 days all in Israel. And we are going to have a wonderful time seeing everything from the Caesarea Philippi in the north at the foot of the Mount psychiate, snow-capped all year long to the Dead Sea in the south and we’ll probably get a chance to get in that sea.
You cannot drown. It is so salty, the water is so buoyant that you can, at least I have done this many times where I put a big stone on my stomach and lay back on the water and you’re still floating way up on top and take a newspaper with the wind, catch it and kind of body sail on the water. It’s just a thrilling experience. You’ll want to try that and many other things that will do that not every group does, but I love to do the exciting things and you don’t have to, but you’re welcome to be a part of, we’ll do some exciting things that usually others don’t do.
Love to have you with me. We’ll study the Bible every day. We’ll be opening that Bible every place we stop and there’s significant events that are difficult history that will become alive for you in a way that you’ve never seen before. I guarantee you and I’ll be opening my Bible and explaining as we go throughout the day every day. We’ll have a great time. That’s leaving March 12, returning March. 23rd you need to get information right away and leave a $100 deposit and get started.
It’s 2595 round trip from your departure city wherever that is in the USA back to your city. City, hotels, meals and flights all included from your nearest departure city. So we hope that you’ll join us on that trip and you can call and get information sent to you and you can sign up with your $100 deposit and be a part of the trip I’ll take and lead on March 12th, year 2000. We’ll have a great time. We’re going to go to the phone lines.
We have Ken and Ken is in Clearwater Florida. Ken, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Thank you. All right. How are you doing? Good. How are you? Good. Where are you in regards to heaven? All right. I know that what else do you like and you can get in around the golf? I think we’ll go. I don’t want to sound procedures. I mean, just a gift going. What do you do for eternity? Well, it’s not real specific, but the Bible says we’ll serve him day and night forever and ever.
And apparently it’s going to be very, very satisfying and bring great joy to us. And you know, work is not a curse. Some people think it is. I know, I work for a living. Yeah, and you know, God gave work to Adam and Eve prior to the fall, and it was only after the fall that God said they’d have to perspire and really work hard to get the earth to produce what it would have done almost by itself without much work on their part prior to that.
But they were to tend the garden. So I think we’ll all be given assignments and we’ll all find them very satisfying, very fulfilling as we please our Creator forever. And so we’re going to have, I’m sure, enjoyment as well by many things. There is, according to the Book of Revelation chapter 22, the tree of life will be there. Twelve men are fruit on that one tree. I can imagine us going by that tree and picking them off some delicious fruit.
Then it talks about the leaves of that tree. Apparently we’ll provide a refreshing drink and there’s the river of life and we’ll get a cup full of that water and stir some of those leaves in, stir it around and drink that most exciting drink you’ve ever had and be munching down All kinds of things I think that we haven’t even begun to tap into. I’m looking forward to having this coming a wonderful time. just tells us will be serving him and it doesn’t define the jobs but i’m sure they’ll be very very fulfilling and satisfying and bring great joy to us as we please are created by serving him in whatever task he gives us all right very good i appreciate the information have a great day okay can thank you very much for listening in the listens every day he says and that’s great
we have so many people tell us they learn a lot from by the line and i hope That’s the case for you too. And one fella told me recently that he learned more in 30 days of Bibleline than he had in 30 years in his church. Well, that certainly is a poor commentary on his church because, but I know what that’s like. I was raised in church for 18 years before I got saved and I don’t remember learning a whole lot.
The Bible just was really kept a mystery. In fact, we didn’t use the Bible in our church. They had one giant one up front that was kind of a part of the decor. But it just sat there. Pages never turned in. It was a piece of decoration. And that’s too bad that a lot of churches, the Bible is just a symbol or a piece of decoration is not really the work tool that it’s supposed to be. You know, 2 Timothy 2, 15 says it is a book that we’re to study so that we can work.
We can know what to do and what to do and how to do it and to be pleasing to God. Most Christians are studying their Bibles and most churches aren’t doing the job and proclaiming the Bible. That’s a part of our age that we’re living in right now. We have Wayne and Wayne is in Pasco County and Wayne, welcome to Bible Un. Hey, good morning. I caught the second part of that conversation we’re having just about the I’m a Bible translation and I concur that there’s probably definitely too many and some of them are terrible.
But the question I wanted your input on was, for example, and I’m not a Bible scholar obviously, but what I studied, I believe that for God so loved the world is an errand. Scribes added the three and the sixteen only a few hundred years ago and I understand dropping words and dropping verses how we got to be careful of that. But how do you strongly in the King James camp but for example if you were German you need a different translation.
If you’re a Spanish speaking, if you’re Chinese, so I don’t know if you’re getting the gist of my question. I understand. was a problem with translations and there is no perfect translation. The King James was a translation out from the Greek and Hebrew into English, but some of the modern ones have been misled ever since the 1800s. The Roman Catholic Church released the Sinaiticus and Nevada Canis information about these two manuscripts which are called the Codex A and the Codex Alpha and the Codex Beta Alpha and these have caused all kinds of deletions and changes to be made in most of the modern translations which have bought into that.
I really believe that we shouldn’t buy into that at all because nobody is…the county churches never really let anybody see these manuscripts and this is all like believing the Catholic church is honest and that they’re really letting us know what these manuscripts say and if they’re really honest then why won’t they let anybody see the originals they don’t and for 500 years they’ve kept them under lock and key and all they have released is copies supposedly of these and how do we know that these copies I don’t trust the Roman Catholic church and so I So I believe that we need to be careful that we don’t buy in all of that.
And most of your Bibles in the margin will say the better manuscripts submit this passage. Well they don’t tell you what the better manuscripts are, but I’ll tell you what they are. They’re talking about the Codex Alpha and the Codex Beta which are the two manuscripts that are in the custodial care of the Roman Catholic Church that nobody has ever allowed to see. And I think that we don’t want to buy into that and have our Bible delete. And like in Acts 8, 37, in the NIV is totally going on one of the most key verses in the whole chapter where the Ethiopian unit confesses that I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
And as a result, He’s water baptized there by immersion, by Philip and it just leaves the passage empty when you drop that verse out of the context. What do you, and I understand, that is a bigger problem than the one I’m bringing up to, but there is, especially in our culture, our European, specifically English culture, because we have been so well versed that we sort of forget, we always think that Christianity is dates back to 1611. And there’s cult, and I know you run into it, and I know you do a good job because you specifically point out, for example, met Noia and how poorly English does with that word.
I know but you know I do come across once in a while that you would think that Jesus spoke in you know in the King’s English Oh, no. And there’s cults that are out there that when they say King James only they mean King James though They believe that you know, they’re just there’s a danger there. Of course. It’s a bigger danger What you’re talking about which is you know, you know actually changing the original meanings right? You know in tech and that’s and when that’s why I like the Scofield reference Bible because many of these have been really clarified in the margin or in the notes in the Scofield Bible.
For example, I just finished teaching first.
