Blood is associated with both the first and second comings of Jesus Christ. As the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ laid down His life for us on the cross of Calvary. There on the cross as the sacrificial Lamb, His blood was shed for the sins of the human race.

We do have have some new books and we have a book called Jesus is Coming. It’s not really new. It was written about a hundred years ago by a man named Blackstone. What a wonderful book it is. He really created a great awakening to the second coming of Christ. It has so many scriptures quoted as he just pulls them out throughout the Bible. Nearly a third of the The Bible is in some way connected to the Second Coming of Christ.
Howard Hendricks of Dallas Theological Seminary says in his book on hermeneutics that one third is definitely related in some way to the Second Coming of Christ and for a preacher not to preach on prophecy in the coming of Christ would mean that he is ignoring a third of the Word of God. Well, anyway, this wonderful book is offered for gift of $20. It’s a marvelous book. Jesus is coming a brand new printing But it’s really an old book and we’re excited about adding that to our We also have the Moody Handbook of Theology, written by Paul Inns, and that’s a great book.
And that goes for a gift of $35.00 and a parallel book of that really good is Basic Theology by Charles Ryrie. And that one goes for a gift of $30.00. These are all great assets to have in your library. If you’re building a library, if you are teaching at all, in God’s Word, you’ll… The Old Schofield Bible is the one we recommend which we have here available. We have a new leather cover on these called a basket weave which is a unique one.
Your Bible stands out from others. It’s like a two-tone, the left side is kind of a weave and they call it a basket we even on the right side we have it in Burgundy or Brown and it’s kind of a two tone, kind of a Bible. That’s the old Schofield of course and we have it also in a hardback and in a softback for the softback is only $15. And some of these things may help you in your Christian growth as well as commentaries and concordances and Bible dictionaries and so on.
A lot of things that if you’re building a library you want to get at least some of the basics and have some resource available for you. I like the Jameson Foset Brown 3-volume Unabridged commentary. Every day I am just amazed at how it has a very clear, concise answer. No fluff, just real good solid material there when you’re studying your Bible. You might want to think about investing in that. In retail for about 130, we have it for gift of 90 here to Bible on it.
Anyway, we are going to take our callers a little bit. We have live callers already calling in and we’re going to take any off-air questions to come our way. I believe we have some of those that we’re going to be answering today. So get your Bible out and we’ll go ahead and get started. It’s really wonderful. You know in Matthew 4.4 Jesus said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
This Bible is the Word of God. This is come forth from God himself. The Bible claims that God is the author. Men were used in the writing of the scripture, but God is the author of this book. Jesus said, Man shall not live by bread alone. Matthew 4.4, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Psalm 138 verse 2 says that God has exalted his word even above his name. Wow. So obviously the Word of God is significant.
It is the words of God that bring life to a lost person. When a person believes the gospel message, the Bible says they are begotten again by the Word of God. In Hebrews 4-12 it says the Word of God is living in powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword dividing a center between the soul and the spirit and dividing between the joints and the moral and as a discer of the thoughts and intents in the heart. Wow what a book.
This is a unique book. There is no other book like it. You know I’ve been reading this book now ever since I got saved when I was eighteen and you know it’s a book you don’t get tired of. There are other books that I’ve read and I don’t ever pick them up again. I’ve read them and I’m satisfied and I’ve moved on. But the Bible is a book you can go to again and again and again and it never grows old because it is a living book.
These are the very words of God and I can read passages that I have read many, many years ago and all of a sudden they become alive again to me in a brand new way. It’s exciting and no doubt about it. There is no other book like the Word of God. Peter tells us in 1 Peter 1.25 the Word of God liveth and abideth forever. This book is going to be around once this planet has been destroyed and all the things on this planet have been destroyed when there is no longer a New York City, no longer a London, a Rome, a Moscow.
A Beijing. All the cities of the earth and all the earth will be destroyed one day and yet the word of God will still be around. That’s what Peter tells us. The word of God liveeth and abided forever. Jesus said in 25, 24, 35, heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away. Wow, do you know of another book like this? You know most books after they’re published kind of disappear off the scene and you never see them again.
But the one book that is going to be around forever and ever and ever is the Word of God. And obviously here we have it thousands of years later the Old Testament was completed around 500 years before Christ. So we’re talking 2500 years ago for the Old Testament as to when it was completed and we still have it. And then the New Testament written 2000 years ago and here we still have it and it’s still the best loved book in the world.
the most published book of any book in the world and is published in more languages than any other book in the world. This no doubt is indeed the Word of God. What an exciting book it is. I hope that you have come to know Christ as your Savior because that’s the most significant event that will ever take you easy in your life. The Word of God tells us that we’re sinners and if we paid for our sin we’d go to hell But that God would provide a Savior.
Jesus Christ is that Savior. He came and died and shed His blood so that we might be saved. 673 REPL strutConnectorPopulationribune When you Thank you for your sin. God saves you and he saves you eternally. John 3 16 says it that he believed that whosoever believeth in him in Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. Isn’t that wonderful? RomneyGUI Brees You can know right now where you’re going to go when you die. If you’re a believer, you’ll not perish, but you have, that means right now, present tense verb, have everlasting life.
So that means you’ll have everlasting life tomorrow, next week, next year, and 100 years now, million years now. And if you have everlasting life forever, you can obviously be assured of going to heaven. I hope you have trusted Jesus as your Savior. If you haven’t right now, right where you are, you could say, Lord, I’m a sinner. I don’t understand much about the Bible, but I do believe Jesus died for me and I trust him right now as my Savior.
I’m Dr. Englund, and this is my blind line, and we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida, from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church. We invite you to give us a call, 1-800-576-3771. By the way, we’re going to Israel. That’s right, March 12, year 2007, will depart for Israel for 12 days and will return on the 23rd of March and you’re invited to go. If you would like more information, you can call our 800 number and we can send you some literature but we need to get moving because we are starting late and we need you to make a hundred dollar deposit if you are going to go and then 90 days out from the trip we need half of your money and 45 days out we need your full amount of the trip to Israel.
It’s 25.95 round trip from Tampa or from whatever departure city your friends and relatives might be coming from on this trip. So if you live in Pittsburgh or you live up in New York, wherever your destination or departure city is, it’s all inclusive from that city to fly to our departure city, which will be New York, and then we’ll fly L.L. to Israel and we’re gonna have a wonderful time. It’ll be aorneys study all day long as we open the Bible as we visit the sites where Jesus walked and where he was crucified and where he was placed in the garden tomb.
We’re going to be doing it. That’s March 12th, returning the 23rd of March. We would love to have you go along on the trip with me. This will be trip number 14 for me. I’ve led 13 trips to Israel and we’ll have just a great time. So if you have questions or you’d like to inquire about it or if you’d like to sign up, You can call our 800 number. Let’s go. Let’s go to Israel. We’ll have a great time.
We’re going to go to the phone lines now. It’s 1-800-576-3771. We’ve got Bill in Pinellas Park. Bill, welcome to Bible Enchir on the Year. Hey, good morning. How are you? Good. Couple things I’d like to ask to do. James Robinson likes our treat, outreach ministries. Is there anything you can tell me about that ministry? I know they focus pretty much on feeding the children in Africa, but I don’t know about his gospel. I remember years ago hearing him present the gospel and it was basically works.
I haven’t looked at it lately and I don’t think he’s probably changed, but you have to just listen to everybody carefully or look at their website and check their doctoral statement. If they have a presentation on how to be saved, then you’ll be able to read for yourself. But anytime anybody adds works to salvation, it becomes a false gospel. Relations 1-8, it makes it very clear. Paul says, though we are an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, then that which we have preached unto you, let him be a curse.
I don’t believe I’ve ever heard a clear gospel from him. You have your heart of this book of gasher. Yeah, it’s mentioned in the Bible, but it doesn’t exist anymore to our knowledge. And there are a lot of books written down through history, but the 39 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament books that we have have obviously been preserved as God’s Word, and that’s going to live in the Bible forever. But these other books have gone the way of other books that are perished.
They’re no longer around. I just bring it up because I think yesterday you had a question there. Somebody was wanting to know what the, know his wife’s name was. Yeah. And apparently it’s supposed to be in that book. Okay. That’s, I guess they said her name was Nehemoth or something like that. She was the daughter of Enoch. I thought I’d pass that along. I couldn’t tell you it’s true now, but that’s what I heard. There you go. Well, thanks a lot, Bill.
You know, I wouldn’t trust any of the things that Son would have got as being true. We know that there are only, for example, three angels named in the Bible. There’s Michael, the archangel of God, Gabriel, the messenger angel of God, and then Satan, or Lucifer. But in other apocryphal literature, there are other angels that are named, and I wouldn’t put any credit to that at all. We have Edgar in Petersburg, Virginia, on the line. I wanted to ask you two questions.
My first one is what method do you expend to be think and memorize scriptures? Well I used to and this is the way I did most of mine was I would take a little three by five card. I would write the verse out on one side. I’d put the address on the other and I’d carry some of these around. around with me and whenever I had opportunity I would ask myself, you know, what is the address of this particular verse that I would look on the card and see if I got it right and then I would ask myself can I quote it and I would quote it and turn it over and see if I quoted it correctly and I’d practice.
I got up to between 3500 and 5000 cards which I regularly reviewed and memorized. Right now on our website we have a flash card section by web designer David said, hey I think I can do that for you on your website. So we have a site where you can pick any passage or verses that you want to memorize or you You can take selected verses that we’ve already got there picked out for you and it’ll do the same thing.
You see the verse and you just read it through and try to quote it and then you go click and it’ll flip the card over and you’ll see the address on the other side. Then you say the address and then click on the page there and it’ll flip over. You’ll have the verse text before you again and just flip it back and forth like that and it’s a great way to remember our scripture. That’s what I used to do with writing them out, but you can do it on my internet site.
Real easy just clicking back and forth. on verses that you might want to memorize. You can put in there any think of your chapter or any particular portion of scripture and the flashcards will work there for you. It’s really exciting and I hope that will help you. Yes it will. So it was more faster for Yeah, and there’s a lot of latitude there as to how you do that. But I think if you read a verse out loud it’s helpful.
So when you’re reading it read it. Read it out loud. There’s something about reading it and then hearing it and actually involving your brain and your mouth and everything else and saying it. Very powerful in helping you to memorize the scripture. Okay. All right. My second one that I remember a long time early. I was reading the Bible. I came James because I think about something before you do it. Whether it’s what? No. Okay. That might have been that might have been another Bible.
But. and the old wives Oh, thank you for calling. Okay, that’s Edgar in Virginia in Petersburg, Virginia. People are calling in and they’re wanting to know if we’re going to have our Sunday worship service and choir this Sunday and we are. I don’t know why they would wonder if we’re not or or we’re going to have it. It is, I think, the second of October. And we’re definitely, we don’t cancel here unless we’re gone. So if we are raptured out, we will not.
But our webcast will be on the internet. So the webcast of our service will be on the internet, but we’re certainly not canceling church. I don’t know what prompted all that. But we are definitely going to be having church and we will be webcasting it to the internet. So what you do is go to our internet site and just below the little TV set and you have a right hand corner of the home page, there’s a little camera. Click on that and you’ll be able to get our Sunday message on the internet.
Yes, we’re having church Sunday. So we never cancel. only one service I think I had to miss and that was when we had a hurricane down here and I was still going to be here for church but the police had blocked the roads off and I couldn’t even get to the church so that was one Sunday that we didn’t have church but otherwise I can’t remember when I was not here if it was an opportunity to have church we only have church.
All right, we are now going to Lee and Lee is in Tampa and Lee, welcome to Bible Eye on the Earth. Tom, the 148th Division of Tom. Are you there? I’m right here. Okay. Tom, 148. Okay, I’m right here. They’re okay, especially from 7 to 10, really 10, when they send that everything praise and God. And I know I’ve always been told that we don’t have animals in heaven, but they are talking about the cattle, the beasts of the fields, the dragons and everything.
And I know he does say everything that has the breast, praise the Lord. Well certainly everything was created for God’s glory and everything does in a sense give praise to God. They don’t all speak English or some other language like that. But even the heavens declare the handiwork of God and we read in the Psalms. So everything that God has created obviously is a testimonial to God’s intelligence and to his creative ability and to his wisdom. And certainly they reflect back the fact that a creator created them.
Certainly they didn’t happen by accident. And so they all do give praise to him. That’s what I think of. Is that a bat like the old dispensation? Or is that going to be when the new kingdom comes in? Will we have animals and stuff in this one? I’m trying to. Okay. Well, you’re not going to have the phyto that you have now. If phyto dies, you will not see your pet in heaven. But I do believe we will have animals.
Certainly Christ. comes back on a white horse and we’re going to come back on white horses with him at the second coming. So definitely there are horses and I believe there will be animals there but it won’t be the same animal. Animals when they die they don’t live eternally but I think God will have animals for our enjoyment in heaven as well. So if you live animals I think you’re going to be real happy. I think there will be animals in heaven.
So I hope that helps and thank you again for your call today. So whatever we have now, we’re gonna have some of it won’t be fido. Yeah, won’t be fido. You’re right We’ll have all the things that we have I hope there are no cockroaches. I just don’t like No, and no brown recluse spider. There you go. Thank you very much. Thank you. I got you have a blessed day Okay, Lee in Tampa, Florida. I don’t like cockroaches. I don’t know what you but then and definitely don’t like them.

And if your station doesn’t carry the second half you can go to the internet and catch the whole program. that we want you to touch the second half. So don’t go away. We hope you’ll get a chance to meet us and visit our resource center if you want to come by on a worship day you’re welcome to do that but otherwise during the week we’re open from about 830 to 430 every day eastern time. By the way, we’re going to Israel. That’s right. March 12th will depart on a Monday and will return 12 days later on March 23rd a Friday and we’ll miss one Sunday in that trip and we’re going to go with L.L.
Airlines which is probably the safest airlines on the earth at this present moment and we’ll have a wonderful time looking at all the different things in Israel. I have been 13 times leading groups and this will be trip number 14 for me. We’re going to study the Bible every day. Can you imagine getting up early in the morning and going to the places where Jesus walked and talked and where the historical sites of the Bible took place and just opening our Bible at these places and looking at the Scriptures and then looking around with our eyes and just taking it all in.
I know for first-timers as I’ve experienced this, it’s just overwhelming. There’s just so much to take in, so much to learn that generally you’ll want to go back again. But we hope that this will be a great first-time trip for you. If you’d like to go, you can call and get information by calling our operators and we’d like to If you get your deposit in right away, $100 deposit, the trip will cost $25.95 round trip from wherever your departure city is, wherever you have an airport, where you can fly.
It will be round trip from that airport and back to that airport. Cleaning your hotels, your meals, the whole trip is all inclusive and we hope that you’ll plan to go with this coming spring, March 12th. It’s a great time of year to go. It’s not too hot, it’s not too cold. It’s just beautiful weather and maybe a light jacket in the morning but otherwise it’s just you know 70 degree weather perfect time to travel. And spring things are turning green and it’s just a lovely time to go.
I’ve been at every time of year and I believe that no doubt about it. the spring is the time to go and we’ll go and come back in time of course to celebrate the major holidays of Christianity that’s Palm Sunday and Resurrection Sunday that will follow when we get back and we’re excited about it. We hope you’ll join me on this trip to Israel March 12th through March 23rd, leaving on the Monday coming back on Friday 12 days later and we’ll fly ill airline the Israeli airline and we’ll have a wonderful time.
You can call our operators and we can send you literature we can answer your questions and if you want to go we’d like to get your $100 deposit to assure us that you’re gonna be going with us and then we’ll talk to you about how you can take care of the rest of that. Also we want you to know that we will be webcasting our worship service this Sunday morning the message will be on the internet this Sunday morning.
So if you go right now we have a brand new thing on our website in the upper right hand corner where you see the televisions that I keep talking about right below that there is a camera and when you click on that it will give you the Calvary Community Church worship service. So that’s this Sunday, it’ll be your first time for us. A brand new book called Jesus is Coming. It’s written a hundred years ago, but it’s a brand new reprinting of it.
It’s beautifully done. And it’s a favorite book of mine. I remember reading it as a brand new believer. Mr. Blackstone brought a tremendous awareness to the theme of the Second Coming. And as I said earlier, nearly one-third of the Bible is in some way connected to the event called the Second Coming. Second Coming. And this book is just wonderful. What a great book it is. I’m glad that we can offer it in our Resource Center. And another new one is the Moody Handbook of Theology by Paul Enes.
And that’s for gift of 35. That’s a great book on theology that you’ll want to have in your library as a resource along with the many other things. We have handpicked some of the best stuff out there. So if you want to get the most for your investment in getting resources to help you learn God’s Word, that’s what we have. And you can call and ask us to send out a resource sheet. Plus we have my teachings on CV and DVD.
So that will also help. And a lot of people are enjoying all of this. And all you have to do is call and ask where you can order over the phone. You can also help my blind by giving a gift to keep us on the air and you can do that by credit card or you can Ask us to send you an envelope with our address printed on it The phone number here by blind if you’d like to call in today is 1-800-576-3771 And we have Bernice in Milton, Florida She calls in and says since the Antichrist is going to be like Christ He is also going to be about 30 years of age.
And we really don’t know, but obviously there are many similarities as he will come on the scene appearing to be Christ-like. And a peacemaker and he’ll be charismatic and that people will be attracted to him. But I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see. Obviously we’re going to not really probably know because the Bible says the Antichrist will not be revealed until after the Rapture. Second Thessalonians, Chapter 2, discusses that. By the way, we just finished a great series on 1st and 2nd Thessalonians where we cover all of that, that, and that’s available on 10 CDs.
And you can go verse by verse with me through first and second Thessalonians. Thank you, Bernice, and I hope it helps, but the end of Christ, we can speculate, but we won’t know who he is because he’s not going to really be revealed until after we believers of this age, the church age, are taken out. We have here in Exodus 3, you know when the angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in the burning bush, it is probably Jesus, it certainly is God speaking, and the same is true when God appears throughout the Old Testament as the angel of the Lord.
In every case, that is a preincarnate appearance of Jesus Christ. In Exodus, he identifies himself by the name I AM. In the New Testament, Jesus says in John 824, if you believe not that I AM, you shall die in your sins. Christ is claiming to be the very same God that appeared to Moses at the burning bush. Of course, Jesus is claiming to be the I AM, which is God’s name. And so in John 824, powerful verse, if you believe not that I AM, you’re going to die in your sins.
In other words, you’re not going to be saved. You will not make heaven. Thank you, Vinnie, for calling in with that question, off air. We have off air, Brad, from Clearwater. He says, what do departed souls in Hades look like since they don’t have bodies? Have no idea. And I don’t think I want to go there to find out because it’s a place of flame and torment. And we know the story in Luke 16, beginning at verse 19 where the rich man who died and was lost, was all of a sudden discovering himself in Hades in flame.
And torment. And so he certainly didn’t have on his best face. I’m sure. And I’m of course making fun there, but he certainly wasn’t. We have Gary in Sarasota, Florida asking us to expound on Matthew 539. If you read the context, Christ is really terrifying, some misconceptions that people had from the Old Testament. from the Old Testament. In Matthew 5, he says, you have heard in verse 38 that it has been said an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
That was having to do with the legal system in the Old Testament. Basically, the judges were to give a punishment equal to the crime. I think sometimes today that doesn’t happen. But if basically you knocked out somebody’s tooth in a fight they should knock your tooth out. So basically the punishment would be equal to the crime committed. And it says in verse 39 that you should not resist evil but whose reversal spite you on your right cheek turned to him the other also.
I believe it’s referring here that we are not to be the ones to take vengeance or to settle up a score with somebody, but we are to allow the judges to do that. So if somebody commits a crime against you, that you’re not the one who’s going to take revenge. So if somebody does something against you, you don’t go over and blow up their house. take it to the Judges according to the Bible, the Judges are to meet out of punishment upon that person that would be equal to the crime that they have committed.
Gary, thank you for that great question. Hopefully that has answered it for you. We have Othi Erdru from Clearwater Beach calling in and he says in 1st Timothy 4-1, So do seeing spirits and doctrines of devils, please explain. Well, the Bible talks about Satan’s angels are seducing spirits. And also Satan himself is a seducing spirit. He wants to seduce us and take us away from the Word of God. If you notice what it says in 1 Timothy 4, 1, it says, The Holy Spirit speaks expressly, very pointedly, that in the last days there would be those who would depart from the faith.
And that phrase, the free faith, occurs 43 times in the New Testament. And it means the body of truth as contained in the New Testament. And it talks there about how that Satan’s angels would be involved. And there are doctrines of demons. And Satan has a whole series of doctrines that he would love to have us fall prey to. And it mentions two things that are in particular that are teachings which are doctrines of demons. One is to forbid people to get married.
And we certainly see how the Catholic Church has been stung by that. They don’t let the nuns of the priest get married and look at the pedophilia and the homosexuality that has developed among the priests that certainly come back to bite them and not only in a way that has really, I think, cast some doubt upon this church that many where you know have have been a part of there’s over a billion Roman Catholics in the world, but many are I think are leaving as a result and and many lawsuits have come against them and they’ve lost millions and millions of dollars in paying for the price of these sins.
Also the other one is forbid to forbid you to eat meat and many of the cults forbid you to eat meat and the Bible says that you can eat meat, certainly, to impose upon you that you cannot eat meat is certainly a doctrine of demons, the Bible says. And apparently from what I read, that cults who use mind control are better able to control their people if they don’t eat meat. So I think there’s something connected there with demons and mind control and not eating meat.
So you might want to give us some consideration. But 1st Timothy 4-1 certainly is a fascinating passage. Thank you, Drew, for calling in with that great question. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline and we have our TV program on tonight on Direct TV at 630 Nationwide on Channel 321. That’s World Harvest Television and we hope that you’ll call in and or rather tune in and watch that on on that will harvest and it’s seven o’clock all over the West Coast of Florida you’ll be able to see our program on cable from Fort Myers to Crystal River over to Orlando.
So we’re excited. We’re on a new station up in the Pensacola Mobile Alabama area. It’s WNVY 1090 on the M now and it’s reaching not only all of Mobile, but all the way over and reaching all of Pensacola and also reaching far beyond that. We’ve got reports as far away as Fort Walton Beach, far to the east of Pensacola, where they’re hearing the program on that 10,000 watt station. So welcome to all of you up in the panel that are listening.
If you’re listening on WLRM in Memphis, Tennessee, give us a call. We would love to hear from you. And if you just tell us, hey, I’m listening. I hear the program. I enjoy it or I don’t enjoy it. Call us and let us know. We’d love to hear from you up there in Memphis, Tennessee and also in Cincinnati, Ohio. They may see VX 1050. It’s called Cincinnati’s Christian Voice. And I drove through there a few months ago and could hear that station at least 60, 70 miles to the north of Cincinnati.
coming down 75 through Cincinnati. We’re excited about all these different stations and of course to be able to be able to do that, we certainly need our listeners to help us to be able to accomplish that. Your prayers and your gifts to Bibleline are very, very significant. We hope that you’ll pray for us and if you can, we’d love to have you pray and give also to the program and help us be able to make sure that the program continues.
We have a number of different teachings that will really help you, I think, in the way of CDs. These are very popular, and I have just finished recently a book of Jude, verse by verse, 10 of teaching, the book of Romans, 10 hours of teaching, verse by verse, the book of Hebrews, which has a lot of difficult passages in it, taught at verse by verse 10 hours of teaching. All of these are available, plus 1st and 2nd thessalonians, which turn out to be spectacular.
These are all available through our Resource Center. All you have to do is call in and ask for a Resource Sheet or call in about a particular book or particular, maybe, CD series that I’ve done like Hadley’s Souls of Christ, or parables, or the Holy Spirit, or the Rapture. All of these are available and a lot of people have not only enjoyed them and have learned from them, but sometimes they’re used to facilitate a Bible study. I know quite a number of Bible studies where they’ll play a portion of one of my CDs, have group discussion and have refreshments and it really does help facilitate the Bible study.
We are living at an age of deception and I notice here James from Tampa, Florida calls in and he says, what is the significance of anointed oils and prayer handkerchiefs and clause that are being sold by ministries. Well, it’s a moneymaker and I personally it’s a rip-off. This is something that I think is gone crazy. I had somebody show me a letter they had received from a ministry just about a week ago and in there was one of those wet maps that you get in a restaurant to wipe your hands with after you’ve had your dinner and they said it was an anointed per car and if you lay with that next to your body and then return it in the mail with your seed gift of that ministry that you would get healing and also financial benefits and so on and I believe that that is a
I think you need to avoid all of those kinds of peels to you. Basically it’s a get-rich-quick-type scheme where if you use these oils or if you take these prayer handkerchiefs or claws and send them back with your gift, you’ll get rich or something. And I believe that you just ought to just stay far away from those kinds of deceptions. Deceptions, but there’s a lot of them out there. We have Glenn up in Pensacola, Florida and Glenn welcome to a Bible And you’re on the air.
Yes. Good morning. We are hearing you loud and clear In Pensacola. That’s wonderful. This new station. I think is got double the power so you ought to be having a pretty good signal now Yes, and the signal is usually non interrupted, which is really good I have one question for you. Daniel 9 verse 26. It talks about the three score in two weeks. The Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. The people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city of sanctuary.
My question is, it says, and the end thereof shall be with a flood. The word flood has bothered me for a long, long time. I wondered if you had any thoughts on the word itself. Well I think it has another meaning now. I think it speaks about the swiftness. As a flood, we’ll just overrun the land very quickly. for damn breaks, all of a sudden everything downstream is going to be wiped out quickly. And I think this is what it’s talking about.
And that’s exactly the way Rome came. They just kind of swarmed over Jerusalem like a flood. And the city of Jerusalem was destroyed in the temple and it happened rather quickly. And I think that’s the meaning. It doesn’t mean water at all. In many times in the Bible, the word flood is used in that type of a manner. Also in the book of Revelation in chapter 12, when it talks about the Jewish people being protected as they flee to the Rock City of Petra, which is what is talking about there, when they will flee and escape the hand of the Antichrist in the last three and have years of the tribulation period, what says the serpent, verse 15 of chapter 12 of Revelation, cast out of his mouth and water as of a flood after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
I believe there is talking about military forces. In the Old Testament, the word flood is used that way. So apparently Satan is going to use through the Antichrist soldiers and military people to go after Jews and Christians and they’ll be killed in a true donation period. My view though of the Daniel 926 is it speaks of the swiftness of the destruction. Okay, well thank you Glen for listening and I’m glad you’re all hearing a good signal up there in Pensacola, Florida.
Well you keep up the good work. Alright, let’s go in up in Pensacola, Florida. The station I think is over closer to mobile. I’ve seen exactly where that tower is, but definitely they’re reaching a large area up there in Alabama and in Atlanta, Florida. We are glad we are able to bring the program to you up in that area and we hope that you are enjoying. Again, we are getting near the end of the program today and I definitely want you to know that we are going to go to Israel March 12.
We would love to have you go with me. I have been 13 times. This will be trip number 14. We will be studying the Bible every day for morning to night as we visit the actual sites where things happen. If you’re interested, call in and get information. If you are more serious, you can put your $100 deposit down and reserve your seat. We need to do that as soon as possible. March will be here before we know it. It’s an all-inclusive flight from your destination city, whatever that might be.
We will be flying with L.L. This is the Israeli Airline and we’ll be leaving on 12th March, which is a Monday and will be returning 12 days later on March 23rd. That’ll be a Friday and we’re going to just see Israel from one end to the other. You know it’s a land that’s not very big but yet it has the snow capped mountain, mount Herman in the north and then it Then it has the lowest spot on the face of the earth in the south, the Dead Sea, the surface being 1300 feet ball of sea level.
What a phenomenal thing. And by the way, if you cannot swim, you’ll love to take a swim into Dead Sea because you can’t drown. You will not sink. You’ll float on top. I have experimented with this thing. It’s fun. I usually get a big rock and stick it on my stomach and lay back and hold a newspaper up and let the wind catch in and kind of body sail on the surface. It’s exciting to see the buoyancy of the water and it’s quite an experience to see the deserts, the beautiful deserts that are starting to bottom as a rose and the beautiful valleys and the cities of ancient Israel and the places where Christ walked and talked and of course, Calvary in the garden tube.
We’re going to be there seeing it all and we hope that you’ll go with us this coming year. Don’t forget to watch our TV program tonight on DirectTV at 630 World Harvest Television Channel 321. Don’t forget at 7 o’clock we’ll be on the Christian Television Network and that is all over the West coast of Florida on cable and don’t forget We will be webcasting our morning worship service. The message will be seen on the internet this coming Sunday morning.
So go to our website and click on that little camera in the upper right hand corner. And that’s how you get the Calvary Community Church Worship Service. Gotta run. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming. We’d love to have you go with us. It will be trip number 14 with me. We will be studying the Bible every day and won’t that be exciting to just stand in the very places where the biblical events took place and opened the Bible and read the story and talk about what happened in those places. I have been 13 times. It has certainly enriched my life and my knowledge of Scripture and it will be like really going to as one of my professors said years ago, like taking a year Bible college in just that little bit of time, you’ll gain so much knowledge and you’ll get so much of a feel for the geography and the topography of the land of Israel.
It’s exciting. Plus visiting the very spots where Jesus was and where he was crucified and where he was period and to see the stories come to life and you’ll begin to visualize the Bible when you read it. The places that the Bible talks about will be there in your mind. You’ll see the Hill of Calvary. You’ll see the Sea of Galilee, the Dead Sea and the different places the Bible talks about. You’ll want to go, I know, and if you can, we’d love to have be calling for information.
We would like to get a $100 deposit as soon as possible if you are serious about going with me. That will be a departure date of March 12th, returning on March 23rd, leaving on Monday coming back on a Friday. And call our 800 number and get information. 1-800-576 3-7-7-1. Have a great day and we’ll catch you tomorrow Lord willing. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming.
