What is interesting today is that we are really under, I think, full assault as Christians. We know the Bible tells us that this would be the case and look at what’s happening where Jesus Christ is under attack. Yesterday, of course, a big news was supposedly the discovery of the Tomb of Christ and there was this whole family all buried together. That’s obviously another Jesus. It tells us in 2 Corinthians 11 to watch out for Satan. It says there I fear lest by any means as the serpent that Satan beguiled Eve that was Mrs.

Adam through his subtlety so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. And then the next verse begins by saying, for if he that cometh preached another Jesus, Well obviously this Jesus is being presented in the Da Vinci Code and now this latest so-called thing which is really part of a movie that they found the Tomb of Christ and there was Mary Maglin and his son all buried together with him. That is absolutely nonsense and that is another Jesus.

All the cults present another Jesus. The Jesus of Mormonism is not the Jesus of the Bible. The Jesus of the Jehovah’s Witnesses is not the Jesus of the Bible. The Jesus of the Christian Scientist is not the Jesus of the Bible. And many… I was raised in a Protestant church and yet I never knew that Jesus was God in flesh. The Jesus that I always was presented was a weakling, a coward, a Mr. Milk Toast type of person. And that was at least the impression I got.

When I finally was presented with the Scriptures, I saw that Jesus Christ was the Son of the Holy Spirit. God himself, and he is the God-man who came in order that he might become our Savior, and he came in person to rescue us. And the prophets are very clear that, as it says in Isaiah 9, 6, this child that would be born told to us about 740 years in advance in that passage in Isaiah 9, 6, his name would be called Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

Well I have on my many trips to Israel visited the real Tomb of Christ and it’s empty. There are no bones! He’s gone! He ascended bodily according to the Bible up to heaven and he didn’t leave any grave behind. He didn’t leave any bones behind. He didn’t leave any flesh behind. He physically ascended into heaven. You need to read the Scriptures. If you’re not in the Bible, you’re going to be confused. No doubt about it. The author of Confusion according to the Bible is none other than Satan himself.

If you read I chapter 1 verse 9, the Scripture is quite clear. When he had spoken these things, it says, while they beheld, he was taken up and a cloud received him out of their sight. All they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up the old tomb and stood by them in white apparel. We believe they are angels, which also said, you men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.

I witnesses that watched him go back up into heaven. They watched him ascend when he abodily left the planet to go back to heaven, and the same Jesus in the same body is going to come back at the second coming to rule and reign on this planet. It warned us, we just read it a moment ago, that somebody might come along and present to you a different Jesus and you might buy into it. It’s the same devil that deceived Eve in the garden and it says with all of his subtlety He would attempt to do the same thing to you today.

Well, wake up Christians, you need to be in your Bible more than ever. We are under direct assault. Also Islam, the major religion over a billion in Islam, believe the nonsense of the Koran that somebody who looked like Jesus was crucified and that when they thought he had been raised from the dead, they actually saw Jesus come back to town and they thought he had been resurrected but it was only because somebody who looked like Jesus was crucified and Jesus came back from the dead in the sense that they saw him alive because he never did die.

This is an attack on the death of the burial of the resurrection of Christ which is the heart of Christianity and apparently these people involved with this are saying this just absolutely destroys Christianity. Well, obviously, guess what? No one is going to be able to put out the fires of hell. No one is going to be able to do away with Jesus. It’s been tried in the past. And you know, his word stands and will abide forever. Jesus said in Matthew 2435, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall never pass away.

And he says to his plainly in John 5 that his words are the words of God and that they bring life to those that believe them. I love John 5.24. Jesus said, very, very I say unto you, he that heareth my words and believeth on him that sent me, has everlasting life, shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. Jesus Christ came back from the dead by friend. He did not leave any bones. He did not leave a grave and he did not have a family and obviously Christianity is under attack.

Anyway, I hope that you don’t buy into any of that and you don’t have to and the scriptures are an amazing record. You know, the disciples who were cowards the night of the betrayal. Peter even denied the Lord three times and the disciples running and hiding out in fear later become bold proclaimers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Why? Because they had seen him. At the end of the first century is John the Apostle writes, he tells us in one of his wonderful Epistles 1 John.

He tells us there that he was an eyewitnesses, that which was from the beginning which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon or gazed upon and our hands have handled of the Word of Life. Jesus Christ, they were I witnessed as they touched him. They saw him. Can you imagine what it was like for them after the resurrection to gaze upon him and see him alive after they had seen him crucified and placed in that cold tomb.

And there the body lay for three days and three nights and then Christ comes back from the dead. He showed himself alive for forty days and they saw him. And here John writes, this one which we have, he says, heard, which we’ve seen with our eyes and our eyes have gazed upon him and our hands have handled of the word of life. For the life was manifested and we have seen it and bear witness and showing to you that eternal life.

You know, John had it right. Eternal life. Jesus Christ is God. And he is eternal life, and he is life, and he said it, of course himself, where Christ said, I am the resurrection and the life. He the belief in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. Boy, am I ever glad that I have to hear this message explained as a teenager, and I trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior. And you know all of this will blow away, and one day all those that have trusted Christ as Savior will live in eternity with Him, and all those that have rejected Christ will spend all eternity in the eternal lake of fire.

And those by the way who have opposed Christianity, and I think some of them have a real agenda, will be the worst punished according to the Bible in hell. That’s right. sin sometimes are the worst sins and obviously the unpardonable sin is not lying or cheating or stealing or murdering those are physical sins but the unpardonable sin is that of unbelief. Jesus said it numerous places but in John 3 18 he said he that believe if not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

In other words, it is unbelief that is the unpardonable sin. Those who hinder others from believing will receive a much greater degree of punishment in hell according to the Bible. Did you know that? That there are degrees of punishment in hell. Matthew 23, Jesus comes down hard on the religious leaders of his time, the Pharisees and the scribes and so on. He said, you’re not only not going to heaven yourself, but you’re preventing those who would want to go to heaven from going because you’re misleading them.

Therefore, he says you’re going to receive the greater damnation, the greater degree of punishment and hell. Believers are going to have degrees who are rewarded to heaven based upon our works. Unbelievers will have a degree of punishment and hell based upon their works. But destination is determined by whether or not you trust Christ as your Savior. In John 14, 6, Christ said, I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man comeeth unto the Father but by me.

No man, woman, or child, can enter heaven apart from Christ. He is the only Savior, the only way, and you must trust Him if you are to enter heaven. I’m Dr. Anglinstrom. Yes, I’ve got two and a half year old grandchildren, I said them before the computer, and the other night they were watching your screen, or you weren’t live, but you were on the screen. And they call you Uncle Hank, you don’t mind it. No, I don’t. I’m flattered. Yeah, I put a little bottle of lotion and I put a little dot on each of their hands to keep them interested and they sit and listen to you.

I’ve got water. But what I was meditating on this morning was the cross purposes of God. I guess that’s the only way I could explain it. You take a whale, born in the belly of the whale, and then Ezekiel, and how God told him to eat dung. You know, that originally wasn’t designed for that use for gardening, fine. And I was just meditating on that. And I come up with a scripture that is a little bit off topic. It has to do with God, so that I create evil.

I create evil. I come. And I was wondering if you just comment on God using unorthodox methods. You might say, Jesus spat on the ground and healed of me. And it was just rather interesting to me this morning, the Holy Spirit kind of had me on that topic, how God can use things that He created for one purpose and use them for one for something else? Well exactly, he certainly used the donkey, he did need to speak to Balaam in the Old Testament.

By the way, when a sissy creates evil, it doesn’t really mean that it means he, the word evil there means adversity or trials or really consequences for sin. God is not the author of sin. Satan is the one that brought sin into the universe when he rebelled against the Lord and led his rebellion against God and taking a third of the angels with him. But God is the one who creates the consequences for evil and that’s really what that verse is all about.

It’s in Isaiah chapter 45, a favorite chapter to mind. It says in verse 7, I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create evil and the Hebrew word is translated sorrow, wretchedness, adversity, affliction, calamity and so on. But it’s never translated sin. So God created evil only in the sense that he created sorrow, wretchedness, adversity and so on to be the fruits of sin or the consequences of sin. But it’s a good point. God, for example, used the staff that Moses used as a shepherd to part the Red Sea and to bring the judgments upon Egypt.

He used the stones of David to bring down Goliath. Certainly, he uses us who are sinners, saved by grace, to breathe the vessels that will bring the wonderful message of life to those that are lost and unsaved. And definitely God, I think the lights in using the small things or the insignificant things to bring to not things which are of great consequence. And I think that’s what we see there. But that’s an interesting thought. Well, Paul said, St. Paul was a mystery.

And surely you have to agree with me that God allowed sin to come in. I don’t like explanation. He made creatures of choice because, and he knew when he did that, that there would be those who would choose to violate it. Exactly. But he didn’t actually create the evil. He allowed a choice and that would brought it. That didn’t bring evil into the universe. Yeah, exactly. Well, I appreciate your program and I love listening to you. Can you give me two sketches, one in the old and one in the New Testament that’s showing the deal to you? I would say the Trinity of Godhead.

Well I sure can and one of those is right here close to where I am at here in Isaiah. You have all three members of the Godhead here in chapter forty-eight of Isaiah. In verse sixteen it says, come ye near unto me, hear ye this. I have not spoken in secret from the beginning from the time that it was their M.I. And now The Lord God that is in the Hebrew is Adonoi Yahweh, that’s God the Father and His Spirit, that’s the second member of the Godhead, has sent me and the me is Jesus.

So there you have all three in one wonderful verse. Then you have in John’s Gospel, quite a number of them, but we have for example in John 14, 16 Jesus says and I that’s Jesus the second eternal member of the Godhead We’ll pray the Father. There’s God the Father the first member of the eternal Godhead and he shall give you another comforter and He that he may abide with you forever even the spirit of truth. That’s the Holy Spirit So there you have all three and I hope that helps you.

There’s a lot more, but that’s a that’s the beginning Okay. Well, can I ask you something? If I wanted to witness to a Jehovah Witness, what would be a good scripture? Would John’s 14th 16th be good? I think it’d be good. Also, I like John 824. They don’t have a good answer for that. And John 824 Christ says that I am, unless you believe that I am your die and your sins, and I am as the title or name of God that God used when he appeared to Moses at the burning So Jesus is claiming to be the very God of the Old Testament, the God who appeared to Moses, the God that led the children of Egypt, and that he is that very same God revealed in human flesh over there in John 824.

Okay, thank you very much, God. You’re sure welcome. Arthur, and we pray for those witnesses that need to be witness to. They are claiming that they are witnessing for Jehovah, but they are not. And they need us to tell them about the God that they don’t know who he really is. Because the God of the Old Testament is the same God that is Jesus who is God revealed in flesh. And the Bible says that whosoever denyeth the Son, the same hath not the Father.

So if you reject Christ, you don’t have the Father. And so the witnesses don’t have God in the Father, they don’t have Yahweh. They don’t have Jehovah, they simply are lost and they certainly need our prayers. We have Frank and he’s in Clearwater, Florida and Frank, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. Good morning. This is Pastor Lynch from the Church. Yes it is. Yes, this is Frank. I heard you commenting on the attack that says against Christ and it’s really a so-and-and also the comment you made about believe we needed to study the Scriptures.

I mean, there are so many out there who are taking the name of Christ and it seems like they’re, to me, they are obviously angels of that devil transforming themselves as ministers of light. It’s all over the place. And Christ predicted that. There would be many that would come and claim that they’re Christ. Down in Miami there’s a guy that says he’s Jesus. And he’s got lots of followers and you can actually go down and meet him. I can’t believe it.

I really appreciate you a stand that you’re taking your boldness because with all of these that I hear, I hear so many on the radio and they’re so wishy-washy and watering down the truth. really appreciate those of us who look a lot of pre-shakes stand well-being bonus that also that this fellow that came on i just happen to get up early this morning but the news on the first thing i saw and he makes a comment that uh… history never verified that there was a a literal jesus christ historically and that’s a lot of begin with a Absolutely.

I mean, it verified there’s so many things, un-bevelical statements in history that proved. It’s not about a shadow without that Jesus Christ was there, Josephus and all these other people. So they come out and they make these blatant statements and they must know their lives. They are lives. And you know, even today’s date verifies the fact that Christ was here 2007 years ago. I mean, it’s 2007 years from what? Exactly. from Jesus. He changed the impact of the whole world with his coming into this world, no doubt about it.

But I mean, those of us who love the Lord, we can rest in the insurance act as the scriptures say that God will laugh. He says, let the heathens rage and imagine a strange thing, but God will have them in derision. Amen. I mean, we have this, we have the scriptures and the gates of hell will not prevail against us. Amen. Well, I sure you appreciate you, Frank. Thanks for calling in and then. One more statement. One more statement.

We’re back for that break in Mrs. Bible and and thank you for tuning in today We appreciate you and all of our listeners and my goodness We’re living in the last days and these are days when Christians need to get their ears open and listen and pay attention to the Bible spiritually have their ears open because time’s running out, you know, I Israel just got permission to fly over Iraq Something’s going to happen there in the Middle East, I think, very shortly.

This is a part of the End Times. I ran with their nuclear facilities and Israel threatened by that is apparently going to take action. This is amazing events that the Bible foretold thousands of years ago. We’re really watching it all unfold. Are you on your tippy toes? Are you ready to be caught up? The word could come this year. I’m not a date setter, but I’m telling you, as I read the headlines, and look at the attacks today on Christianity.

My goodness, this latest one now about supposedly they found the tomb of Christ and his wife’s supposedly Mary Magdalene, and their son was buried all together, their bones were all together and same. That is absolutely nonsense. Jesus Christ ascended with his body. He didn’t leave it behind in a grave. My goodness, my goodness, my goodness. And there’s this attack after attack after attack. The Vinci Code was saying that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene. Now this latest thing says that Mary Magdalene was his wife.

He had kids and they’re all buried together, absolutely a direct attack upon the heartbeat of the Bible, the message of the death, the barrel, the resurrection of Christ. Even if you didn’t have the New Testament, the whole story is told in advance in the Old Testament that it would be God who would come and take on human flesh, it would be God who would come in a human body to die on the cross of Calvary. Psalm 22, how his hands in his feet would be pierced and how he would die as a substitutionary payment, Isaiah 53 5 saying he was wounded for our transgressions.

He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we’ve turned everyone to his own way and the Lord laid on him. Jesus, the iniquity of us all. Wow! The Bible is incredible. We are living right now where Christians are under attack, Christian entities under attack, Christ is the target and boy they’re firing away with movies and books that debunk Christianity but they can’t get rid of it.

Jesus is going to be around forever and his words will be around forever. As he said in Matthew 2435, Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away. Who side are you on? Are you standing up for the truth in these days? This is a time when we need to really pull together. And I hope that you would stand with us and pray for us here at Bible on, pray for me, and pray for the fact that we’d like to get this message out and help us, if you can help us financially to pay these bills so that we can go further and reach out more with this wonderful message.

We are in the last days and it may be that we may not have another year. Israel just got permission to fly over Iraq. That is significant. Something’s going to happen. We’ve got several battle groups over there, aircraft carriers, everything else, submarines and destroyers and parked off of Iran. Something’s in the wind, something’s happening, and it’s all a part of the end times. The Bible says the world will actually wind up coming to war in the Middle East. Just look at that price of gas on the pump there when you buy it.

It’s going up, and oil is what drives the world today, and that’s where the oil is sitting. But he didn’t remain in the grave. That’s for sure came out of that grave and he took that body Up to heaven and the Bible says in Acts 1 11. He’s gonna come back in the same body That’s right at the second coming and next time around he’s gonna rule over this earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. No one who rejects Christ will be able to escape help because there’s no other remedy for our sin other than Christ.

Jesus is the only Savior. That’s for sure. We’ve got lots of people patiently waiting. We have Robert in Clearwater. I think Bob has been waiting long as I need. We’re going to go to Bob. Hello, Bob. interesting program today. I’ve got a situation I’d like your opinion on. We were going through Hebrews, chapter 11 in Sunday school class last couple weeks.

At one point the teacher wanted to read a verse and turn on one of them read a verse. Now it’s verse 11, I was looking at my Bible and I said, okay it doesn’t have anything about Abraham in there. So I turned to the Greek New Testament that I carry with me. It didn’t mention Abraham, and it didn’t have any very reading in any of the manuscripts for Abraham. And the puzzling part is where it says that, through faith that Sarah was able to conceive, the Greek there is Tatobolene sphermatos, which is a technical term for a male seminal emission.

Now, we know that women do not have male seminal emissions and so I was wondering your perspective on that. Well first of all Abraham has mentioned if you read over to verse 17 It says by faith Abraham when he was tested offered up Isaac and so very definitely and then verse 8 by faith Abraham when he was called to go into a place where half of what he should receive inheritance he obeyed and Then in verse 11, which is the one you’re referring to, through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive.

She was old and she delivered a child when she was past age because she judged him faithful which had promised. So the Bible here tells the same wonderful story that we read about in Genesis that God allowed Abraham and Sarah to have children children when he was beyond 100 and she was at least 90 and beyond childbearing age. And so God miraculously intervened here. And it was a picture, of course, of God providing Jesus as Abraham’s only son that was born of Sarah miraculously, as Jesus was miraculously born.

Of course, he was virgin-born, became the savior, and of course, that was the picture being given here. But it was actually, certainly Abraham’s seed that caused that conception, which is what we know clearly from the text here. But the miracle here was that she received strength and her body became capable of carrying that baby as she was very old at the time of the birth. Well, what I’m looking at though is the Greek says that she was, by faith, was able to have a seminal emission.

I’ll have to look at that word. I’m not familiar with it at all. Bob, I’ll have to get back with you on that because I haven’t looked that up. So we’ll make a note of that and try to look at it. Yes. Yes, Dr. Hank. I just wanted to make a comment before I ask my questions. I know that you have an idea of how close you are, but when you said that Jesus can come back anytime I was watching. a major news channel here a couple days ago and they were talking about the illegal alien problem and the senator that was under the well-known senator he um… suggested that the government could put a stamp on people to uh… see if they’re legal or not and it’s in order to a buyer something that they’d have to show their stamp so you know they’re starting to suggest that on mainstream tv so you know you’re very very close Oh, I agree.

The market’s right down the road here. My wife says it’s scary. I’m like, I mean, it’s not scary. It’s a good time. We just have to make sure we’re ready. And I have two questions for you. And then I’ll hang up and listen here. Number one, why did God hide the truth from some people by using prophecy? Jesus, hide the truth by using not terrible, so they wouldn’t be saved? He says that. He says that I’m using terrible, so you cannot be saved.

but i thought it was god’s will that everybody be saved and then the second question on what after you just as well to this world again uh… in total to type of the country not because he had yet sent to the father but then when thomas came on uh… jesus invited him to touch his um… it touches skin to prove that you know where the nail holes were uh… what what is the um… not the contradiction but no jesus of the contradict himself but you know the two probably just there what what’s the difference well in john 17 that one is uh…

chapter twenty or something it’s about the fact that he had not yet taking his blood up to heaven i believe in the hebers nine twelve it says that uh… needed by the blood of a bull’s and or goats and cows but by his own blood he entered once into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us now we believe that He took his blood up to heaven and placed it on the mercy seat. He had not yet ascended.

So had Mary touched him at that point, she perhaps sort of contaminated his incorruptible blood. That had to be taken to heaven. If you read on in Matthew, in rather Hebrews 9 verse 24, it tells us he did not enter into a temple here on this earth with your figures of the true, but into heaven itself where he took his blood so obviously after he had done that he came back and people were invited to touch him and uh…

and so on okay and then what about my first question right repeat that again i forgot what it was now alright how come god hid the truth from some people by using parables if he wants everybody to be saved and we know he does why why why use parables to confuse them right the answer that is that he hides truth from those who really don’t want to know the truth. If you don’t want to know the truth, then you’re going to be blinded to the truth.

That’s a principle that God gives throughout the Bible in Romans chapter 1. Clearly God wants people to be saved and it begins in this little dissertation in Romans 1 and verse 19 that God places within every individual, a knowledge that he exists. And as a result, they become responsible. Verse 20 says that they are without excuse. They’ll never be able to say, hey, I didn’t know that there was a God and that I was responsible. And if they seek, they’ll find, and if they don’t seek, they won’t.

But then it says in verse 21, because that when they knew God, they didn’t glorify him as God. Neither were they thankful, but became vain in their imaginations. their foolish heart was darkened and that’s the key. So as you don’t want to acknowledge God and they’re not thankful that He created you and so on and you move away from the truth. You go further into darkness and parables are part of that. So if you don’t want to know the truth you’re not going to get the truth and you’ll be blinded but if you want to know the truth you can be a child and you can understand the wonderful gospel and trust Christ and become the same.

So hopefully that answers the question for you. It’s a matter of seeking or wanting to know the truth or not. And we do thank you for your call and… We’re now going to go to Angel in Tampa, Florida. Look, we live in the end time because I’m being part of the United States.

I’m almost at the end. I started the book of Revelation. I’m on chapter 7 and I just want to ask you and I hang out why is the he’s why he’s here in the thousand but not then. Then did not dishonor Jacob was a Ruben. I don’t see that. I went back and I’m kind of confused and can you just point out for me I hang out with Halifian to you sir. Sure. Dan, if you read Genesis chapter 49, Isaac pronounces a blessing upon his or Jacob rather pronounces Isaac.

I mean Israel or Jacob Brudensa’s a blessing on his full sons. And Dan apparently is the one out of which the serpent will try to strike at Christ. And apparently the pictures that maybe the Antichrist comes out of the tribe of Dan, of course in the Tribulation period, therefore God is not going to use Dan as one of the witnessing tribes in the Tribulation period because of that. The Antichrist apparently might have some blood in him from the tribe of Dan.

And I think that’s the answer. But yet during the millennium, Dan is restored. And Dan has a portion of the land during the Millennial Kingdom. But I think that’s the answer. And hopefully that helps get that answered for you. We have a question here. Here is a question about Proverbs 26, and he says, is there a mistranslation, or is this a contradiction, or what? And you’re not the first person to say that. Here it is in Proverbs 26, verses 4 and 5.

It says, in verse 4, answer not a fool, according to his folly. Now also be like unto him then verse 5 says answer full according to his folly and the question is does this Is this a contradiction and it seems to say in one verse? Answer not a fool the next one says answer full According to his folly and I think the answer is clear in verse 6. It says don’t answer him according to his folly so you don’t want to pay back and do the same thing that he does or did to you.

But yet it does say you do have to answer the fool because otherwise he’ll be wise in his own conceits and he has to be dealt with. But you don’t deal with him by coming back at him in the same way he came at you. So it’s not contradiction at all. And that’s an excellent question. We now have I believe Keith in Richmond, Virginia and Keith welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. All right. You think of the… Not true for me, but I think he’s probably pretty solid.

I haven’t heard anything about his… Except I think he probably is a and I would disagree in that area if he is. I’m not sure. I haven’t followed much of his teachings. Oh, because I’ve looked at one of his books recently and he doesn’t believe in a terms Well then I would not go along with him at all then. I didn’t know that. I didn’t know that. I’ll have to check up on that but thanks for letting me know.

Okay, thank you very much. If he believes you can lose it then obviously he’s not a good teacher at all. Thank you Keith and we’ll have to keep our eyes open whenever we’re listening to anybody to see if they’re in line with scripture and if they are not then obviously you have to be able to see if they’re in line with scripture. scripture and if they are not then obviously you have to reject their teaching because the Bible is the sole authority.

We have Mike in Seminole, Florida, leaves an unfair question. I’ll go ahead and take a couple of these real quick if I can squeeze them in here. In my, rather in Romans, Mike has asked the question, explain 11, 20, and then we’ll see how it works. In Romans 11.22 it says, Behold, therefore the goodness and severity of God on them which fell severity, but toward the goodness. If thou continue in his goodness, otherwise thou also shall be cut off.

This is talking about the Jews in the Gentiles and how that God was severe on Israel because he rejected the Savior and were put on the sideline on the bench for the past 2000 years. But he’s been good to us Gentiles and that we have been given the privilege of being the ambassadors for Dr. Chris, the witness is to the world of his grace, but it’s saying here that we need to be alert here that we don’t depart as it says in verse 23.

We need to be alert here. As it says in verse 23 from corporately that the nation of Israel was set aside and got turned into Gentiles. But God is about ready to conclude the Gentile Age and look at the apostasy in the church today and that’s another sign that we’re at the very end and he is going to rapture the church out and then he’ll go back and deal with Israel again. So we’re going to be done as far as our ministry because we have basically dropped the ball here at the end of the age.

It says in the 2 Timothy chapter 4, it says the time will come and I think it has, that we would not see people enduring sound doctrine, but they would just want to be entertained. And isn’t that the way it’s going nowadays? How do they attract a crowd today? all with entertainment. It’s not the word of God that is promoted as the attraction, but the attraction is the music or the other things. And in many churches, the word of God is not even used or is not even necessary.

Nowhere does the Bible say, if you read the book of that the early Christians came together for praise and worship. It doesn’t say that anywhere. That’s something that’s brand new here, is that the in-time churches are entertaining people. The early church says they continue to sit vastly in the Apostles’ doctrine. So it seems to me that they came together to hear what the Apostles had to say and what the Word of God had to say. And today that’s not true.

If you offer entertainment, that’s where the crowd goes, but if you’re offering the Word of God, the crowd isn’t going there today. That’s the sign of the end times, and I believe we’re in it. And that’s a fact. And then the devil is really working today, isn’t he? To assault the Bible with all the new translations, many of which really delete many, many words and verses of scripture from the Bible. And it’s scary. We have this book here called New Age Bible Versions in our Resource Center that is excellent that will help you in that area.

We also have the NIV quiz. You know the NIV, the new international version, drops 44 verses in their entirety. They’re gone. Look for Acts 8.37 if you have an NIV. It’s not there. the key verses there in the Gospels. Also, when you have the temptation of Christ in the new American Standard, you’ll find that when Christ says, get behind me Satan, it’s gone. It’s not there. The whole thing is gone. And one of the most significant ones I think is in one of my favorite salvation verses, John 647, it says, barely, barely, I send you, he that believeth on me has everlasting life.

In the New American Standard, it says, he who believes has eternal life, it doesn’t say on whom you are to believe. The key part of that verses, he that believeth on me, the on me is gone from the New American Standard. These little omissions, unless you’re paying attention, you won’t even know. We have Stephen in Largo, Florida calls in and he says in 1631 it says, and I house. Does this mean sense I believe that my family will be saved also?

And the answer is no. If you read the context, it’s meaning that if your household or your family believes they’ll also be saved. And in the case of the Philippian and Jaylor, you’ll notice in the very next verse. and verses it will point out to you that not only did the Philippians jailer believe but his family did as well his house also got saved so they have to also trust Christ we have from Utica New York, twin Eagle calling him he says if you make a pledge to the Lord and do not keep it and use it for something else else for the Lord to punish you.

When you talk about pledges or vows, you need to read Ezekiel 5 and it says, if you make a vow or promise and you don’t keep it, then God will hold you accountable. Yes. So you might want to read Ecclesiastes 5 about making vows. And Carl and Lakeland calls in, who are the sons of God and Genesis 6? They are believers. Nowhere did God ever call an angel his son? Hebrews 1 5 says, under which of the angels did God at any time say thou art my son, he never did.

God never called an angel his son. These are believers. And Carl and Lakeland hopefully that will answer a brief answer, but that’s the case. We’ve got to run.
