Call in and you can call or 800 number, and they’ll be glad to tell you how you can get that set. We also have the Lewis-Spery Shafer Systematic Theology.
Lewis-Spery Shafer found a Dallas Theological Seminary about 100 years ago. This was originally an eight volume set. They had now published it in four volumes. You get all eight volumes. It’s a wonderful coverage. If you’re a serious Bible student, you’ll want to get it. Wonderful Christmas gift. Both of these will make a great gift. This one, again, retails for about 180. We have it for a gift of 110 to Bible and called. Get your order. Plus we have the Scofield Bible.
If you go to your bookstore, you’re going to find that they’ll sell you the new Schofield and probably the hybrid number three and you don’t want that. The notes are watered down. There are new notes added that are not by Dr. Schofield. We have the 1909 and 1917 editions and that’s the one you want to get far superior to the new ones. It would be buy a new one, don’t burn it, but it’s certainly not as good as the old one.
So let me encourage you to get those. We have those. And if you’re thinking about Christmas, this is a good time to order them. Before we run out, you might want to get a nice Bible for our gift. Check it out. We are going to get into the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to be answering your questions. Again, that 800 numbers, 1-800-576-3771, please feel free to give us a call. We hear a lot about the 144,000. It seems like different groups are vying to be a part of that group. We have the Joel’s Witnesses who claim that they are the 144,000. We have the seven-day Adventist that claim that they are the 144,000. And guess what?
None of them are. The 144,000 are Jewish men that will get saved after the event of the Rapture. The Rapture is the next event on God’s program and that is the event when all believers all over the earth will be snatched up to meet the Lord in the air. And if you’re a believer, you may be a part of a group that will be exempted from death that will never die. That’s right, they’ll never die. They’ll simply be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
And we hope that you’re going to be in that group. Every believer who is living at the time of Christ’s return will be included in that wonderful rapture where you will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. We hope that you will also be in that group that you will be caught up and transformed into your new resurrection body on the way up as you are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. According to 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 13 through 18 in particular.
That’s 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 and that is the event called the Rapture. Well, right after that there will be no believers left on the earth because all believers will have been caught up or raptured out, and so there will be no believers left on the planet Earth. And so in order to spread the gospel during the seven years of tribulation it will follow in preparation for the Lord’s thousand year earthly reign here on the planet, God will send back two Old Testament prophets.
I believe they are Moses and Elijah. through their witness they will lead 144,000 Jewish men to Christ that will be God’s evangelist. Let’s turn to the book of Revelation and we find in chapter 7 it talks about these men and it says here in Revelation chapter 7 verse 4 and I heard the number of them which which were sealed and there were sealed 144,000. And it says here very clearly of all the tribes of the children of Israel. So we notice that they’re Jewish people.
And it says here of the tribe of Judah were sealed 12,000 of the tribe of Ruben were sealed 12,000 of the tribe of G-d were sealed 12,000 and so on and so on and so on. So if you have 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes 12 times 12,000 equals 144,000 that’s who they are. If someone comes at your door and knocks and knocks. claims to be one of the hundred forty-one thousand, you will have to say, oh, you must be Jewish.
If they say they’re not, then they’re disqualified. You have to be Jewish. You have to be of one of the twelve tribes in order to be a part of the hundred forty-one thousand. Then in chapter fourteen of Revelation, we see they’re all martyred for their witness as they are dynamic witnesses and they will be martyred by the middle of the tribulation period and that you see in chapter 14 and here it tells us more about these 144,000. It says in verse 4, these are they which were not defiled with women for they are virgins.
These are they which follow the lamb with us wherever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men. So here we learn that they’re all male, no females and they’re all virgin males. So if a woman comes to your door and even if she qualified as being Jewish she could not be one of the 144,000 because they’re all men. We also know that they if a person comes and he’s a man and he’s Jewish but he’s married he cannot be one of the 144,000 he has to be a virgin.
It says these are virgin men and they are Jewish. So there are three things in particular you need to remember about the 144,000. They’re Jewish, they’re one, they’re from one of the 12 tribes, there’s 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes, 144,000. They’re all men and they’re all Virgin men. Well that eliminates most of those that come to your door. Well the cults of course try to claim this number and others do and a lot of people have no clue as to who they are.
But these will be the first saved out of the tribulation period. Chapter 14 talks about them being the first fruits unto God. These are the first ones saved in the tribulation period. In Chapter 7, in verse 9, it tells us the result of their ministry. It says, I saw a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and tenders and tongues. These are the people that are saved as a result of their evangelism. These people will be presenting Christ to people all around the world.
I believe the 144,000 are living right now. I believe we’re that close to the Rapture and I believe they’re right where they’re going to be when God uses them already in the country, in the city where God will use them. Can you imagine? Jewish people right now, maybe some that we’re talking to, maybe some hearing Bibleline right now are hearing information that will be seed planned for them to come to know Christ after the Rapture when the blinders come off the Jews and millions of Jewish people will become saved.
And so they’ll be right in place when they get saved. They’ll know the language, they’ll know the customs, they’ll be ready to go immediately. And I believe there’s probably some of the hundred forty-four thousand in the Tampa Bay area that will get saved after I leave at the Rapture. I believe we are that close that we have a good chance of all of us being in that event. So it’s exciting and right now we as Gentiles are God’s Witnesses.
We should be proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making it clear that eternal life is a gift. It’s already been paid for, but all those that would trust Jesus Christ as your Savior would receive this gift and receive the forgiveness of their sin and eternal life. That’s got to be the best news anybody would ever hear in their entire lifetime. I have eternal life right now. How did I receive it by believing or trusting Christ as the one who died and shed his blood and paid my sin debt and full?
That he was buried that he rose again from the dead, who’s so ever believed within Christ John 3 16 says, should not perish because Christ perished in your place, but that you would have, that’s a present tense verb, you would possess. He turned life. Eternal life is received and possessed at the moment you believe and possess forever thereafter. Salvation is not a process. It’s not you hanging on or keeping on or working or enduring to the end. That has nothing to do with our salvation.
Jesus paid the sin debt of yours and mine across 2,000 years ago. And he said it is finished. That means he composed the gospel. He finished it. It’s paid in full. And when you trust Christ, God gives you the gift of eternal life at the moment you believe and you possess it forever and thereafter. I’m Dr. Ancklinstrum. This is Bibleline. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. From our studios here at the Calvary Community Church, from the pastor.
And we’re about ready to go to the phone lines. I hope you have your pencil ready and copy that phone number down and give us a call. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And by the way, we’re getting ready to go to Israel. It’ll be trip number 15 for me. I hope you’ll go with me. And if you want information, you can go to my website right now, BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the right side of the home page, Bibleline News, and the page will come up with the phone number for QR travel where they will be ready to assist you, send your brochure or whatever you need and take your deposit and you really probably ought to move quickly because we’re getting close and I’d love to have you go with me.
And by the way, if you click on the Israel Tour brochure link right on that page, you’ll be able to see the full brochure and print it out on your printer or you can call us and ask us to make sure that you receive one in the mail. Well, we’re going to go to the phone lines here at Bibleline and we have Betty in Beverly Hills, Florida on the line and Betty, welcome to Bibleline. Yes, good morning, Heather Lynch.
Jim, how are you doing? Good. Thank you. We listened to your message yesterday and ironically what I want to speak to you about this morning I’d like to make a comment please and then a question. It’s in a revelation, chapter 3, do not call on the earth or the treat we have sealed the servants of our God on their far heads. It reports me in mind, rather, in some of Ezekiel chapter 9 verses 4 through 6. Can you go there with me?
Is Ezekiel what chapters up nine versus four through six okay and this is the cleansing of the temple crank cleaning the wicked out of those four it says and the Lord said to him this is the man called with women call through the midst of Jerusalem and put a mark on the far edge of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done to the others he said in my hearing go after him through the city and kill.
Do not let your and make the somehow this phone call is breaking up Betty. I don’t know if it’s a cell phone you’re on or what but we’re getting bits and pieces of your speech. I’m sorry. All right. I’ll call back at another time but I see the consistent. I’m on my cordless. Is this getting any better? It’s better now. Yes. Better now. I see. I seem to see the consistency brother in some of how the Lord puts a mark on the farads, ironically, of the same people in Ezekiel, the righteous, and saying that they’re not to be harmed along with those in Revelation chapter 7.
And then I see that in the time of the Antichrist, it’s going to be the reverse. It’s going to be the unrighteous that received the mark on the farad. And it just makes me think of how Satan always wants to try to imitate what the Lord God does. You agree? Sure. Now what is your question? My question is the man with the ink horn in Ezekiel chapter 9. Who do you believe that was? Was that a pre-incarnate Christ or?
In what verse are you referring to? Ezekiel chapter 9. Let me see, let me go back there. 9. That’s probably a preincarnate appearance of Christ. It appears to be. Of course we know that the 144,000 are sealed in their foreheads in Revelation 7. So they are also sealed. But of course the Antichrist will want to have people under his control and they will also receive a mark, which is of course the mark of the beast without which they will not be be able to buy yourself.
But certainly that’s an interesting passage to kind of use to look at what is ahead because again the hundred forty thousand will be the witnesses for Christ. But then those who reject Christ at the end of their ministry three and a half years into the tribulation period the hundred forty thousand will all be martyred and then the antichrist will begin to demand his mark be put upon all people and those that are believers will recognize that they don’t want to do that no refuse the mark thank you so much for your call and appreciate that call from Betty in barely hill for the which is uh…
a great place we know we’re going to go to gerry in plant city gerry welcome by my your own yes sir on the time to leave some rise in the bush administration Palestinians and the Israelis working toward that agreement of peace, I believe, also seen where, over in Lebanon, that their president has stepped down and there’s really nobody in charge. I think the army right now is taking care of the country. that prophesied somewhere in the book of Daniel, I believe, about somebody being raised up from that area that will step on the world stage and suppose we have all kind of answers and everything.
And then just one quick note, I was watching Dr. Jack Van Eppie and he was talking about the Raptor and he said, he was no longer looking for a sign but listening for sound. I like that answer there. Well obviously we’re going to hear the sound of a Trump and the voice of Jesus as he shouts and up we’re going to go and be transformed into our new bodies. We do know the Antichrist will obviously be in the Middle East.
He’s going to come I believe out of this country. I believe He will be the head of this country. Daniel describes 11 countries, the 10 of Europe, and then a younger, stronger country that is spawned or birthed by Europe, which the only country in the world would meet that description is the US of A. And he will control Europe and take over the Middle East. In fact, Daniel 11 tells us the Antichrist will set up his palace in Jerusalem and he will rule the earth from Jerusalem.
the western world at least and of course at armageddon at the end of the tribulation there’s a conflict between china russia and uh… the western nations under the control of the antichrist and of course the king of the south probably the african nations and uh… it’ll be the worst war the world’s ever seen the battle armageddon which will take uh… a third of all the lives of all the people of all the earth i believe it’s a nuclear exchange with everybody pushing the buttons and the missiles flying everywhere.

We have the Zondervin pictorial Bible Encyclopedia, not Dictionary Encyclopedia, and that’s $200 set. We have it for a gift of 110. That’s a nice gift to somebody serious about the Bible. We also have the Lewis-Spares Shafer Systematic Theology. Originally, eight booms, they’ve now bound it in four volumes.

And that is normally $180 that we have that also for a gift of $110 to my and those are nice gifts as well as the Schofield Bible. I would recommend if you’re going to get a Bible for someone you get them a Schofield reference Bible but you get the old not the new Schofield and we have those here at Bibleline headquarters at our Resource Center you might want to order from us and I would recommend you order early before we might possibly run out.
We are excited about being with you today and we’ll be here all week long Monday through Friday And we’re going to go now right to Mark that we had earlier, but somehow I think I pushed the wrong button. It was my fault. But Mark, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Yeah, thank you very much. You got me saved a couple of years ago and that’s the best thing that happened to me. But what I want to get into right now is I was talking to a friend of mine, he’s a Catholic.
Okay? And I said, you know, this is no thing about purgatory and revival. He believes in purgatory. And I said, no, you know, there’s no purgatory. He says it’s purgatory. And I said, well, find it to me in the Bible. He says it’s somewhere in Ephesians about going through fire. Well, that certainly isn’t an Ephesians. The word verse of the Catholics try to stretch and use this in 1 Corinthians 3, 11, 3, 15. We’re talking about the judgment of Christ where it says our works will be examined by fire.
But nowhere does the passage talk about the person himself being tried by fire. And basically it’s for rewards. There is no purgatory. Everyone in that judgment goes to heaven. Even the one who did no works will have works burned up and will suffer loss of reward, but he himself shall be saved. That’s a great verse that says, I believe it really can never be lost no matter what, because 1 Corinthians 3, 15 says, even if your works are all burned up, you’ll still be saved yet so as by fire.
So it’s a weak argument. There’s no place in the Bible. But what I like is Hebrews 1-3 because purgatory is a place of purging and the place where our sins were purged was at the cross. And that’s what Hebrews 1-3 says. And by the way, what is neat about this verse, it says, Christ by Himself purged our sins. That was at the cross and then sat down on the right hand of the majesty on the high. So Jesus did the purging of our sin.
We don’t do that in some place called purgatory. And the place of purging was the cross of Calvary and he did it all by himself without our help. So Christ alone and by himself paid our sin debt and full when we trust him, God saves us. Right. I mean, I just try to hear my friend and I want to get him saved. he claims he’s saved, but I will make you none. I know I have no right to judge anybody on those salvation, but I try to explain to him how well, if you’re stated, it doesn’t matter what you do.
If you go out and become a master, I mean, I know this is a bad example, but you can never lose your salvation. If you become a master murderer, you can’t lose your salvation. He says that’s stupid and ridiculous, but I just can’t get that through. And he thinks that you gotta do other works too, that you’ve got to go to church all the time, You got to say all these hellmarries and all stuff like that and I say that’s wrong.
Well, it’s works and obviously the Roman Catholic Church teaches that they are the one true church. The Pope just two months back reaffirmed the primacy of the Roman Catholic Church saying it’s the only true church and they are the only ones who could administer salvation through the sacraments, which is totally false. Obviously salvation is through Christ. Christ said I’m the way, not the Roman Catholic Church. He said, no man can come to the Father except by me Christ, not the Roman Catholic Church.
When you trust Christ, you become saved and saved eternally. Okay. But thank you very much for your help and I want to cut out my friend and get that. All right. Thank you. Thank you, Mark. And that was Mark in Tampa, Florida. We now have a call from Eleanor in Petersburg, Virginia. Welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Air. Yes. on the air you have a question how are you on the air right now with Bible and you have a question yeah now I don’t have a question I want to order the scroll back well we’ll let you go to that right now and I’m sorry that your call came through upon the air we have Orlando in Orange City Florida so Orlando welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air okay let me turn the radio down okay I I hated the background.
Okay, Orlando. Welcome to Bibleline what can we do for you? I got a little pamphlet from The group that calls themselves Jehovah’s Witnesses. Yes, and in the pamphlet it was demons Do we have an immortal soul? 321 and Yes, it’s from 319 to 21 on, finally with it, they’re saying that. Well, what you have in Ecclesiastes is talking about the brevity of life and when you die, you really don’t have any knowledge of what’s taking place on the surface of the earth anymore.
It doesn’t mean that you don’t exist anymore. The Bible is quite clear that we were created as ever living souls. 1 Corinthians 15 talks about that but also Jesus himself in Matthew chapter 10 tells us Fear not those which can kill the body But are not able to kill the soul. So the soul doesn’t die. You’ll either be with the Lord in heaven forever Or you’ll be in hell forever, but the soul will never die in fact Jesus in Mark’s gospel chapter 9 tells us that that in hell the fire will never be quenched and the soul will never die.
That’s the fire will never be quenched and the soul will never die. It’s Mark 942, 44, 46, three times he says that. And so it’s quite clear that the soul doesn’t die. Say that the animals have… Well, they’re obviously twisting the description. It doesn’t say that in the Bible. animals when they die they that’s the end of their existence. I do believe there will be animals in heaven but it won’t be your pet phyto that you love here. You’ll see animals in heaven I think we’ll enjoy animals.
We know Christ comes back on a white horse and all those that are saved come back with him on horses on white horses so I believe there are obviously horses in heaven and we’re going to enjoy all those things, but they don’t live eternally. They are not like humans which have an ever-living soul. Hope that helps a little bit. But the Jones witnesses are really off on so many doctrines. They’re not reliable as Bible teachers. You certainly don’t want to sit with them.
They deny the deed of Christ, which is one of the major errors of their teaching and it says over in 1 John chapter 2 in verse 23, whosoever denyeth the son the same hath not the Father. So they deny the son, therefore they don’t have the Father. The Father is Jehovah, so the Jehovah’s Witnesses are Jehovahless. They are Jehovahless, can you imagine? I just can’t get over that. And so when they come to the door I say, you know, why do you call yourself Jehovah’s Witnesses when you’re If you deny the son, you don’t have the father.
Look it up, 1 John 2, 23, and we can give you lots more, but I would stay far away from them. I would avoid them. The Bible says in Romans 16 verse 70, mark those which have doctrine contrary to the Bible and avoid them. Avoid them. That’s the key word. You need to avoid them. We have a John now in… I’m here. Yes, yes, yes. This is Bibleline. You’re on the air. Oh, yes. I’ve got two questions. I need to know the description of whether you found one is that I’ll never leave you.
Okay, that’s Hebrews 13 5 Christ said I’ll never leave you and I’ll never forsake you Hebrews 13 5 Hebrews 13 verse 5 Okay, the other one is Can do nothing without you Okay, that’s in John 15 verse 4. Christ, and, without me, you can do nothing. Verse 4 and 5. 15. I will never leave you as Hebrews 13-5 and the fact you can do nothing without Christ is John 15, John 15 verse 4 and 5. John 15, 4 and 5, that’s without me you can do nothing.
Well thank you John for calling in. Alright and thank you very much. It looks like a good concordance with what John needs. He’ll be able to find these verses quickly. If he has one, and we have those in our resource center, a great gift, it’s about three and a half inches thick. It’s a heavy book, but it has every word, every day, every end, every buttery shelf. And by the way, if you don’t want to buy one, go to my website.
If you go to my Bible study search area, we have the numbers associated with each word for the Strongest Concordance and you can put your cursor on that and get the original Greek and Hebrew on my website without buying anything. We’ve got it all right there for you. Check that out, BibleLineMinistries.org.com. If you’d like to call us here at Bibleline, the number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Have a question here from Marie in Riverview, Florida. She says, please explain Matthew 22.14, many are called, but few are chosen.
It’s saying here that many are called, in other words God invites everybody to be saved. But few are chosen, He chooses only those that trust JesusITNESSAR SAVIEN. So many are called, for example John 3.16, God so loved the world, that’s all of mankind, he gave has only gotten the son that whosoever, that means anyone, anyone, everyone can trust Christ the Savior. They’re all invited to believe on Christ. If they do, they will not perish, but they’ll have eternal life.
God chooses to save those that believe on Christ. But if you don’t believe on Christ, if you don’t trust Christ as your Savior, you will not be saved. So that’s the answer, Marie. I hope you are listening and enjoy that. a question I think just called in a few minutes ago and I hope that I got it for you. Many are called, it means many are invited to be saved, but only those who believe or trust on Christ are chosen to be saved.
And so unless you trust Christ, you will not make heaven. You will not go to heaven to be with Lord unless you trust Christ alone as the only hope that you have a reaching heaven. Trusting that he died, shed his blood, and paid your sin dead and full was buried in rose again from the dead. When you trust that he did that for you, God saves you. All right. We’d like to welcome all the people who are listening in different areas of the country.
We’d like to hear from you. Give us a call. Those of you up in Lansing, Michigan, those in Scranton, Pennsylvania, those in Tennessee. Where are you? Give us a call. We’d like to hear from you. We have Tony in Virginia and Midluthian, Virginia. Tony, welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Air. Hey, Dr. Lendstrom, quick question. Can you please explain to me the parable of the Virgin in Matthew that Jesus has given? I will hang up and listen. Thank you, God bless. Okay, well, it’s very clear that five are saved five were lost. The way to find that out without really doing much digging, you’ll notice in verse 12, Jesus said here to the five foolish virgins, this is Matthew 25 verse 12, he says, barely I stand you, I know you not, I know you not.
That means you’re unbelievers. The Lord tells us in 2 Timothy 2 19 that the foundation of the Lord stand it’s sure having the seal for Lord Noah those that are his. So if you are a believer, the Lord knows you belong to him and you are sealed as his child. But someone who has not saved, he would say, I know you not. So the five wise virgins were wise because they trusted Christ and were saved. The five foolish virgins were lost because they did not trust Christ to be saved.
It’s really talking about the tribulation period, people getting saved, and people remaining unsaved. And when Christ comes to the bridegroom, it’s too late if you haven’t trusted Christ. All unbelievers will be destroyed, and all believers will enter into that thousand-year kingdom, in their mortal bodies, and they’ll be the subjects of the thousand-year earthly reign of Christ. That’s a simple answer. But basically, the He teaches that the oil represents the Holy Spirit and that the five wise virgins had the Holy Spirit speaking of them being saved.
The five foolish did not, they were not saved. But clearly verse 12 tells us, I know you not so we know the foolish virgins were not saved. This is by the line of Dr. Hank Vince-Dremen. We’re excited about this season of the year. This is a great opportunity as we approach Christmas to talk about the Lord. We of course want to help you in your pursuit of learning the Bible Leilan and learning how to evangelism. We have a CD that is extremely effective.
Last year we had lots of people ordering that particular CD to give as a part of their giving to friends and relatives that were unsafe. They would include it with their package or put it in a card and we had lots of people get saved through that tool of the CD, how permanent is your salvation. That might be something you might want to think about doing. We also have lots of teaching CDs of mine on different topics and different books of the Bible.
We have the book of Romans, we have the book of Hebrews, we have the book of Jude, we have the book of Revelation, the most popular that we have. the book of Daniel, teachings on parables, and other topics like the Holy Spirit, the Rapture, and the return of Christ, etc. So you might want to call and find out about it, but you can go to the internet and you can look at our online bookstore and see it all right there.
We’re going to go to Jean now, and she is in St. Petersburg in Jean. Welcome to Viva on your own ear. Hi, Dr. Lester. I have two weird questions put. I listened to you about a year and a half and I came to St. Pete nine years ago. I’m real shy like you were when you were in college. I think you talked about it. Well, I wanted to know does God lead you to reach out to people like I ordered your track for them?
I put them in every box at my job. I’ll hand him out like I do a person a dollar. I’ll hand him out. But to sit down and study the Bible with somebody, that’s not me. But I’ve been led to go to this church I used to go to and just put him on the Sunday on the windshield of the car. Does he lead us? Because I don’t know if it’s my own thoughts or… Well, I’m sure he does.
Sure. I don’t think it’s just my accident. But he impresses on us. I think a need. and place where he wants us to share the gospel and go for it i think that’s wonderful that’s what i mean i cuz i i feel guilty i mean i’m really shy and to just you know um… you know keep somebody about the bible i’m not an expert and i probably wouldn’t do that but you know like i was thinking even typing up like your website and you know that’s not sure and we have a little cards that we’d be happy to give to you free you could about to have the website address on it has uh…
my picture that’s probably the turn but that was uh… uh… it has all the other information on there and uh… we’d be happy to supply with some of those but those are different the creative ways to witness and i think that’s great that you’re doing that so i mean like because i heard you talk about rewards and heaven with it you know i don’t know well you’re gonna get rewarded for that no doubt about it absolutely okay Anyway, you can get the gospel out.
You’re doing the job. And I think you can whisper it. You can shout it. You can pass it out in print. And all of those are different creative ways to get the message out to somebody. So keep doing it. And maybe the Lord will give you courage to open up your mouth and tell it all as well. But that’s a great beginning. I like to see people doing that. And I think you’re doing a great job. Thank you, sir.
Alright, thank you for calling in. This is Bibleline. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and we’re excited about being with you and we look forward to the holidays. By the way, we are listeners supported. You could call and leave it with our operator by credit card over the phone or call and ask for an unboat to be sent with our address on a mail gift in. But certainly, your gift is really, really necessary and really appreciated and we would love to have you be one of our partners. Thank you for listening and thank you for your prayers and your gifts in advance. We sure appreciate that. We have a lot of offer questions here.
We might try to take a couple more here. Charlotte, Michigan, John calls in, leaves this offer question. What scriptures in the Bible do the mid-tribbers base their argument on? And why do you think they are wrong? Thank you. Love your show. Well, thank you, John, and We appreciate that calling from Charlotte, Michigan. Well, the mid-trippers, obviously, don’t rightly divide the Bible. The scriptures distinguish between the Gentiles and the Jews and what is called the Church, the Body of Christ.
The Body of Christ is the Church and is comprised of all believers from Pentecost until the Rapture. and we are called the bride of Christ. And Jesus is not gonna let his bride go through the tribulation period. The tribulation period, its entirety, is called in Jeremiah 30 verse seven, the time of Jacob’s trouble, that’s Israel. It has nothing to do with the church. We’re leaving and then the whole seven years has to do with God preparing Israel for the return of Jesus as their king.
So we don’t belong there. We’re not a part of that. Also, the seven years of tribulation are really the last seven years of the Old Testament error that has not been completed yet. And we have no business there either. We’re going to be raptured down. And then the last seven years of the tribulation or of God’s Old Testament error will kick off the clock. and it’s exactly seven years in length. So we don’t belong in the Old Testament or in the New Testament, but there are seven more years of the Old Testament that have to tick off the clock.
And according to Daniel’s prophecy in chapter 9, the clock stopped ticking when Christ died and was rejected and will not resume until… The Rapture when the last seven years will tick off the clock. Hopefully, that answers your question. We have many more that we’re not going to be able to get to. I don’t think today, but thanks for tuning in. I hope you’ve trusted Jesus as your Savior and I will want to definitely see you in heaven. Also, don’t forget we’re going to Israel.
I want you to go call and ask for information. We’ll try to help you find it on the website or whatever you have to do or mail you a brochure, but we want you to go.
