We’re gonna talk about the Bible for a little bit and then we’re gonna get into the questions and answers from our listeners. But one of the exciting things that’s in the news right now is that they are going to relaunch the peace talks and that’s happening right now, I believe. President Bush has invited 50 countries participate and I think all of them will be enemies of Israel, but it’s a lot of pressure on Israel and supposedly to bring peace.

He says the time is right to relaunch Middle East peace talks to create a Palestinian state because a battle is underway for the future of the troubled region. Well nothing can be further from the truth and we know biblically the Bible tells us that the world is going to come to war and it will be initiated in the Middle East and Israel in particular the Valley of just real where Armageddon is located will be the, in a sense, the Pearl Harbor of World War III where that will be where the first strike takes place in a worldwide nuclear exchange kind of scary.

But you know the Bible talks about In 1 Thessalonians 5, I used to think there were no signs for the Rapture, but guess what? There are signs, and the Bible makes that very clear. And a lot of times we buy into what people say or what we read, and it’s not necessarily true. But if you turn to 1 Thessalonians 5, it talks in chapter 4 about the event of the Rapture. But then in chapter 5 it says, but of the times and seasons brethren, you have no need that I write unto you, for yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

The day of the Lord is an expression used throughout the major and minor prophets of the Old Testament. It is talking about a thousand year day where there will be peace on earth, good will, toward men. This is the kingdom that had been promised to Israel that still will take place, that Israel will be regathered back into their land. We have already seen the initial stages and they are there in the Middle East right now. And the Bible says that just before Jesus returns at the second coming seven years after the Rapture that the world will go through the most troublesome time the world has ever seen.

It is called in Jeremiah chapter 30, the time of Jacob’s trouble. He remembered Jacob had his name changed by God when he got saved and he became Israel. And Israel really in the Hebrew is three words ishwa El means child of God. Jacob became saved. Jacob became a child of God. And everyone that puts their trust in Christ’s Savior becomes a child of God. But there are those that are the physical descendants of Jacob that will inherit that land and be there during that thousand years as the head nation while Christ rules over the earth.

Now in the technical sense the day of the Lord represents just that thousand year period, but in the broader sense it includes the seven years that preceded the prepare the way for Christ to come back and set up His kingdom. We believe we’re almost there. The rapture could happen at any time and then what will happen will be Israel will go through time of great trouble and the world will go through a time of destruction and judgment. Let’s read now verse 3 for when they shall say, Now they hear referring to the unsaved here on the earth, when they shall say, Peace and safety.

Now the Greek word there translated safety is security. And guess what? I just heard on the news this morning that this conference that Bush is having is about bringing about peace and security in the Middle East. Peace and security. That’s exactly the phrase used here in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5. This ought to cause us to get excited. Because it says here, when the world is talking about peace and security in the Middle East, then sudden destruction come up upon them as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.

In other words, unbelievers will be left behind. At the rapture and they will not escape this time. It’s coming on the earth It will happen and it will get worse as it goes along as a woman who is giving birth has her most difficult times right at the end where The pain becomes intense as she delivers that little baby It says that this time of destruction will come upon us prevail upon a woman with child and they’ll not escape But look at verse 4.

This is so exciting because that people say, oh, you can’t know when the Lord will come back. He comes as a thief in the night, but if you’re reading very carefully, it tells us that Christ comes as a thief in the night for the unbeliever. That’s right for the unbeliever. Look at verse 4. Do you have your Bible? First Anselonians 5 4 says, but you brethren, you believers are not in darkness that they should overtake you as a thief.

In other words, the return of Christ of the Rapture does not take us as a thief because we know what to look for. And we’re seeing it right now. One of the big signs is not only the Jewish people back in the state of Israel, but the fact that the world would be talking about peace and security in the Middle East and then boom, the Rapture happens and Christ returns and snatches out all the believers. And then the seven years of destruction will then follow here on the earth and then Christ will come back at the second coming seven years after the rapture and set up His Kingdom of Peace on Earth, Goodwill, toward men.

Isn’t that wonderful? It’s telling us here, prior to the rapture, that this day of the Lord should not overtake you and me as a believer, as a thief. But it comes upon the unbelievers in that way. In other words, a thief doesn’t announce it’s coming. The thief doesn’t say, hey, I’m going to break into your house at 11 o’clock tonight. I want to give you a little bit of warning. No, the thief gives no warning, and you don’t know when the thief is coming.

But the believers can know when Christ comes, and they will not be surprised. It says in verse 4 here, you brethren, you believers are not in darkness. That day should overtake you. As a thief, verse 5, you are all children of light and children of the day. We are none of the night nor of darkness. So we have the light of God’s Word to let us know when Jesus is coming. I believe we’re close. I really believe every believer on it may be get up on their tippy toes and walk around on their toes because it won’t be long and all of a sudden we’ll hear that shout and up we’re going to go and we’ll meet the Lord in the air.

Won’t that be great? I’m excited and I hope you’re excited as a believer. This is an exciting event. This thing taking place in Washington is very significant. The Bible tells us in Daniel that the Antichrist will actually be one who will initiate a peace for seven years for Israel. And we may be seeing the very peace that the Bible talks about that will be initiated just before the Rapture. We just read about it. us, Elune says that when the world talks about peace and security in the Middle East, then boom, the rapture happens and we’re not to be surprised, we’re not to be caught off guard.

Every believer ought to be expecting it. I believe we’re coming close and I’m expecting it and I’m expecting it soon. I don’t have a date. I’m not a date-setter, but I know that Jesus is coming. We often say at the end of our program, Jesus is coming and we believe He’s coming very soon. I truly believe that. Have you trusted Christ if you haven’t trusted Christ as your Savior? You need to do that. That’s the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life.

And if you haven’t done it and you die or the rapture happens, you’ve got troubles. If you’re not a believer of the rapture, you’ll be left behind for the darkest hours of human history. And if you die and you haven’t trusted Christ, you’ll wind up in hell and that’s certainly not someplace you want to go. And you don’t have to. Jesus died for every man, woman, and child that would ever live. His death at the cross completely paid our sin debt.

It was finished, Christ said, at the cross when he died. And if you trust Christ, my son, my friend, you can receive right now ever lasting life. You can be assured of going to heaven. Would you do it? Just whisper a prayer between you and the living God. If you don’t know what to say, just say, Lord, on the center, I don’t understand much about the Bible, but I believe Jesus Christ died and paid by sin, debt, in full by His death and shed blood.

I believe He was buried. I believe He rose again from the dead. When you trust Jesus Christ, the Savior God saves you. Isn’t that great? And you could be assured of going to heaven before you ever turn off your radio. You can trust the Lord right now and be assured of going to heaven. Some of them are Christian friends yesterday were talking, we got a friend that took his own life. I was saying that he would still go to heaven because he loved the Lord and trusted Jesus as his personal Savior and stuff. He would still go to heaven if he took his own life, wouldn’t he?

No, that’s absolutely right. Jesus said in John 637, him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out. And that means no exceptions. Suicide is not one of them. Once you trust the Lord, you’re stuck. You have to go to heaven when you like it or not. God does not want us to take our own lives, but if he did, he would still go to heaven. By the way, Saul, whom the Old Testament took his own life, and we know that he went to heaven.

He went to be with the Lord. Samuel told him at the witch of Indoor when Samuel was brought up from the dead and told Saul that he was going to lose the battle with the Philistines and that he would join Samuel with the Lord right after he lost that battle and he would die. Well he was wounded severely and Saul took his own life and committed suicide but Saul went to be with Samuel. Samuel obviously the prophet of God was saved and so he was saved and there are other examples in the Bible.

But I hope that helps a little bit. But Bob, thank you very much for answering that question. God bless you and you have a wonderful Christmas coming up. Alright, you too Sam. Sam in Valrico Florida, by the way, the idea that suicide is the unpardonable sin comes from Judas having committed suicide and he did good at hell. But he didn’t go to hell because he committed suicide. He committed suicide, but he went to hell because he was never a believer.

Jesus said in several places, in one particular, in John 664, Jesus said he knew from the beginning who it was that would betray him and who believed not. And he identifies Judas as an unbeliever. We have Sean in Richmond, Virginia and Sean, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Sean? Good morning, Doug. Good morning. Great, great. I appreciate your ministry. I’ve had a question for you. The last two years I’ve come to the point in my life. I was under a ministry for a while that I’m going to find out.

You know, a good, good point of mind. But a lot of stuff is being taught not really difficult. I’ve come to a place where I’m doing a lot of questioning what I believe and everything. I’m still a person of course. I believe in Christ and all. But I made a teach that I’ve had in my life. Scofield, Old Scofield. I had one.

First of all, we’re not following a man. Obviously, we’re following the scriptures. But the notes, he was the editor of the Bible, and he assembled some great Bible teachers together and put these notes together. Let me just read a quote from Dr. Scofield. He says, within a week after my conversion, I passed a window of a picture store in St. Louis and saw a hanging there, an engraving of the painting Daniel in the then of lions the prophet with his hands behind him and the lion circling about him and is Looking up and answering the king’s question Dr.

Scofield continues and says the one thing I was in mortal fear was of in those days was that I might go back to my Old sins I was a drunken lawyer in st. Louis when I was converted with no power over an appetite to strong drink I was so afraid of a barroom or hotel or club where I saw I was coming to one I would cross the street and I was in torment day and night. No one told me anything about the keeping power of Jesus Christ.

I stood before that picture and great hope and faith came into my heart and I said why these lionsprototype me my old habits my sins but the Lord has shut the lion’s mouths for Daniel he can shut him for me and I learned that my God was able to deliver me from the lions. Oh what a rest that was. So Dr. Stilfield learned So, the critics of the Scofield Bible like the Bible like to attack Dr. Scofield, but they obviously, the devil uses the same tactics on you and me.

He wants to attack us to discredit the message. We don’t judge God by the messenger but by the Bible itself. I hope that helps and thank you for that call. We don’t have Brad in Clearwater, Florida. I was looking at the year when you mentioned the Mayan calendar a while back. Yes. I looked at it on the internet.

And I happened to notice that I think it ends around, like November 20th, the year 2012. And my question concerning that was, you know, some stuff that Pastor Jack Dan Ify had said in the past because he believed that the world would end that day. And I was just wondering, do you think he even took that Mayan calendar, that image into consideration? And I was just wondering, is all that kind of, you know, like we call, just hang out to listen to your response by radio?

Thank you Brad. And you know, it’s interesting. All of that stuff is tied in with all the new age groups, the UFO groups, and all the other groups. And you know, I think Satan probably knows pretty tight, pretty close as the one Christ is going to return. And so maybe, maybe they’re giving us some hints. But I don’t know. We’re not to be date setters, so we need to just back off a little bit, but get excited that the return of Christ is soon.

I believe what’s happening right now in Annapolis, Maryland where Bush has assembled 50 countries to talk peace with Israel is very significant. We just read about it today in 1 Thessalonians where there will be talks about peace and security and then boom, the rapture happens, the tribulation tears underway and the world will not escape but we will be escaping because we’ll be raptured up to meet the Lord. Check that out in 1 Thessalonians 4 when they are saying peace and safety and actually the Greek word being security.

That’s exactly the words that Bush used on the radio the past two days. And that is what he’s trying to accomplish. And guess what? That’s exactly what the Bible teaches. The leader of the West would initiate a peace for Israel in the Middle East and then the tribulation period would be underway. Thank you very much for that call. Good. How are you? What city are you in? Colleen Texas. Okay. Thank you. And what’s the question? My question is for us one. And you do the first. Well, hell and the lake and fire are synonymous. But actually the beast, the antichrist and the false prophet are first in revolution 1920 and then at the end of the millennium Satan is cast in. So that’s the satanic trinity. You’ll find that Satan is the anti-type of God. that the beast, the antichrist, is the antitype of Christ, and the false prophet is the antitype of the Holy Spirit.

And all three are first in, then Satan’s angels, then everybody in the human race that’s lost, that is not trusted Christ will also be cast into the eternal like a fire. No, he went to Hades and all the lost of mankind are in Hades right now. And they’re in torment just like that rich man. He’s still there. And he’ll be there for another thousand seven years if the rapture happened today and he would then eventually be brought up it says in revelation twenty thirteen that held delivered up or how it is it should read delivered up the dead which were in it they were judged according to the works assigned a degree of punishment and then they’re cast into the lake of fire were satan okay so i should not look at he does hill absolutely not is a totally different place okay and also i got a question about

I had to mention one time that Tongues are pretty much seized in 96 AD and is that 6 AD? Well, absolutely. 80, 96 was perhaps the date of the book of Revelation in the last book of the New Testament and post their bouts and that would have been when the New Testament was completed and that’s when God said that the gift of tongues and knowledge and prophecy would all cease. absolutely first Corinthians 13, 8 through 10, tell us that.

You know, in the news you’re reading right now how Bush is assembled 50 nations, 50 nations, most of them are Israel’s enemies that will meet with Israel to try to get these peace talks going in the Middle East. It says in 1st the Sonomians 5, 3, when the world is saying peace and security, those are the very words that Bush is using peace and security, then the tribulation period comes on the earth suddenly by surprise as a thief coming in the night.

But it says in verse 4 that that is our sign. It says you brethren are not in darkness, but that they should overtake you as a thief. You are not of the night nor the darkness, but we have a lot of God’s word to let us know. The very fact that they’re saying this right now could be the trigger sign to let us know that we’re about ready to get out of here. It says, When the World is Saying Peace and Security and it’s right now in the news, read today’s paper and this might be it.

It might be it. I don’t know, item out of date, but I think we’re getting close and these are signs of the Lord’s return. We’re going to go now to Rick in Orlando, Florida and Rick, welcome to Bible and you’re on the air. Hello there. How are you today? Doing good. You’re doing a great service for everyone. I’m listening to you out of WYND in Central Florida here. You mentioned just a few minutes ago before the break about the leader of the Western world would meet and try and organize a piece or something for Israel Bible.

I’d love to look that up. All right. Several places. Daniel in particular in the book of Revelation, but Daniel 7, 8 talks about an 11th nation that would be birthed by the ancient Roman Empire and the nations of Europe. The United States is the only country that could meet that description and it talks about the United States then actually taking over Europe, which I believe will happen after the Rapture. We have our military in three countries in Europe in particular where the Bible says that he will pluck up three of those countries that spawned his country, the United States, by the roots.

Now, if you do something interesting on your computer, if you just type in three things, the letter E, the letter U, and the numeral three, guess what? You’ll get pages of sites that come up because there are three countries in Europe that are the big players, the power movers of the European common market. And guess what? Those are the countries where our military is, and if the president of the United States said, take them. Those three countries will be plucked up by the roots like Daniel talks about and the rest of the European countries would submit and say, hey, we’re yours.

Do with us as you please. And so the Antichrist will control the West and then he’ll conquer the Middle East and he’ll be the ruler of the Western world. So Daniel 7.8, check that out. And then we find over in chapter 9 in verse 27, he the Antichrist will actually guarantee peace for Israel for the seven-year tribulation period and It’s interesting that it talks about a man singular who is this Western dictator who I believe will come out of this 11th country the United States of America That’s a little bit of a hint, but you can get my series on Revelation on CD my series on Daniel on CD And I cover these things in a great Greater detail all right you’re welcome and thanks for listening us Rick in Orlando, Florida and we now have a Geno in Tampa, Florida.

Immediately go to be the Lord, if you believe immediately or are you waiting for that win? Immediately. Second Corinthians 5, 8. Mark it down. Corinthians 5 8 says absent from the body present with the Lord. Now we don’t get our resurrection bodies until the rapture, but your soul and spirit are immediately absent this body and immediately present with the Lord at the moment of death.

I just want to say we got a bad connection but the answer is a lot of things that are happening are really aligned with Bible prophecy and that lets me know that we probably are very, very close. A lot of things that have happened in the past eight, ten years or so have really set it up so that this country can have a dictator.

And I believe we will have a dictator, he will be the Antichrist and he is probably living today. Maybe we’re looking at him, but we don’t know for sure because he won’t be revealed until after the Rapture, but for sure he will be the head of this country when the events unfold in the tribulation period. And welcome to Bibleline from Bradenton. Is it G? Yes. Okay. What’s the question? My question is what type of dance that the Bible refers to when David danced when he had that victory? I believe it’s more like the Israeli dances today. They’re folk dances, they’re line dances. They grab hands and they go to the left, they go to the right knee, go around the circles and they cross each other. I’ve been in Israel now many times and one evening we spent at an open-air restaurant right on the Sea of Galilee.

The moon was shining on the water and out there was a big dance floor and we had the Israeli folk songs and several hundred young people doing these somewhat like line dances in this country. They kick their feet to the left and to the right and they swing to the left and right and they go around in lines and switch hands and go the other direction and all of them. Kind of neat looking, but I think it’s that kind of a dance, not like the ballroom dancing or the other kind of disco dancing or the kind of dancing that is done today.

It’s a fun dance. It’s a joyful, just like a celebration. I like square dancing, I guess, would be more comparable. This is where everybody is interacting with everybody else, switching hands and moving around and dancing and kicking their arms and legs. It’s kind of fun. Okay, so it’s not like the type of energy there is country music or anything like that. No. Okay. All right. Well, that was a bad question. All right. Thank you for calling in. Good morning sir. Good morning. Many things confuse me in the Bible and what take I know Israel has plenty true enemies and Syria appears to be one which speaks it. And Isaiah 17 1, would you speak what that means to you about the baskets and all this to your answer on the radio? All right, we’ll certainly do that. And thank you very much. In Isaiah chapter 17 in verse 1, it says, the burden of Damascus, behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city.

It shall be a ruinous heap. What is the future for Damascus? I’ve been to Damascus, I’ve stayed in Damascus, I’ve been to the street called Straight, where Paul became saved, Saul who became Paul, and I’ve seen the traditional side of the lowering of Paul over the wall in the basket scene that you read about in the book of Acts and so on. But apparently Damascus is going to be a ruinous heap. going to be destroyed and I believe that it happens in the tribulation period at the Battle of Armageddon and apparently it’s just going to be nothing left.

I think they’re probably going to take a nuclear hit in Damascus. My idea, but definitely it’s talking about the destruction of Damascus that has not happened yet but will happen in the future. So, thank you. I’ve got a question, couple of them, really. Can you give me a word from the Bible?

I know that repentance means change of mind or it means change of mind. I know that it’s about Christ, but if you are, let’s say you’re smoking, for example, to Dr. Tell you you’ve got lung cancer and you need to, I guess, turn from that and stop smoking. Is there a typical word that would describe actually turning away or stop sinning? The other question I have is I have a Thompson chain reference bubble. I don’t like the Thompson chain.

Yeah, ever since I’ve been listening to the program and I’ve been enlightened and I’ll check it out. I’ll read it and I’ll check out the references and it’s way off. It’ll mislead you. Usually those who have bad doctor and use the Thompson chain Bible. You can almost look at what Bible people use and tell where they stand biblically. A person who has a Schofield Bible, you can know they’re pretty sound in their teachings. If they have the Thompson chain, the chain is so out of whack that you go all over the All over the place and these people are generally confused.

It’s really confusing. It was confusing me and that’s what I’m like. So I will get a scope of… How can I get a scope? But can you just please tell me, you know, what is the action? Is there a word? Well, in the Old Testament, there is an Old Testament word, Shuv, S-H-U-V, the Hebrew word translated to turn or turn away. That talks about turning away from sinning. But it’s the word repent simply means a change of mind. That has been wrongly defined by preachers and has been misleading us to think that we have to change our life, which works.

In order to be saved and we don’t turn from sin to be saved that phrase repent of sin doesn’t even occur in the Bible It’s not even there and a lot of people don’t know that they they hear it so often they assume it’s there but everybody needs to do their homework on that and I have several CDs where I’ve taught on it and explained the different words and and if you see repent in the New Testament, it is a change of mind generally speaking about who is Jesus Christ and Acts 2 when Peter preached and told the people to repent he gave a message on the fact that they Crucified the real Messiah when they thought he was an imposter a counterfeit a fraud and they said what should we do?

Peter said change your mind Realize you made a mistake and trust Jesus and you’ll be safe Right talk to me about Repentance What you just told me? I think that generally is the case. There are phrases, for example, where it says in the book of Acts, repentance unto life, that’s a change of mind unto life. That is to receive Christ, who is the way, the truth of life, and receive Him as Savior in good heaven. Hebrew 6, 4 talks about repentance from dead works.

It means change of mind realizing works cannot produce life, only death. And you need to trust Christ in order to be saved. You need to change your mind and trust Him, and so on. and so on. I have on my internet site, if you look at the bottom right hand corner Dr. Lynch, some articles about four that I’ve written about repentance that go through these things and make them clear and I hope that will help you. Benjamin, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. morning, Dr. Hank. In a special, official, 3910, 3910, a mystery there. I would like to know if the mystery there is Jesus or the gospel or the entire. Well, you know, the mystery there in Ephesians 3, 9, and 10 is the fact that God would turn to the Gentiles to be his witnesses and that they, Jews and Gentiles would be put together in one body called the Church and that they would be God’s witness here on the earth during this present age from Pentecost to the Rapture.

So that’s what is the mystery. Mystery means something previously not revealed and this was not revealed in the Old Testament. It was hidden there in type. You can go back now with New Testament eyes and see that. It wasn’t ever stated you’ll not find the rapture in the Old Testament You’ll not find the church age in the Old Testament except in type. So otherwise you will not find it at all so Hopefully that answers your question and we just have a dalton there with with him All right, we don’t have Edgar in spring lake North Carolina Edgar.

Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Hey, how you doing this morning? Good. I was calling to ask you, I know you previously mentioned that you believe that heaven will over the earth, what made you derive that in the Bible? Alright, well in Revelation 21 it talks about the new Jerusalem, that’s what I’m referring to. And the New Jerusalem is quite large. If you read the dimensions here, it’s 1500 miles wide, 1500 miles deep, 1500 miles high. That’s a pretty significant cube, and that is the dimensions of the New Jerusalem.

Now, if you were to live in the top floor apartment in the mansions that God is going to provide for us, and you got on an elevator on the bottom floor. If you traveled in an elevator, can you imagine this, an elevator traveling at 600 miles an hour, it would take you two and a half hours to get up to your floor. That’s pretty wild. So it’s big. And it’s 15… A couple hundred miles high. Most satellites orbit the Earth around 200 miles up.

The space station is only a couple hundred miles above the surface of the Earth as it goes around. We have people living right now in space. So if you were to put this new Jerusalem down on the Earth, it would absolutely obstruct it be one flat side on this thing because it’s a cube. Can you imagine the Earth since it rotates at over 1000 miles per hour so that we can, if you’re standing in one place, in 24 hours you will have rotated one time all the way around 25,000 miles.

We’re traveling even though you don’t feel it right now at over 1,000 miles an hour. Hold on tight, because that’s just the fact. And can you imagine if you had this great big city sitting on the Earth 1500 miles high, it would just absolutely cause such wind currents. most hurricanes, you know, 150 miles an hour is pretty big. And if you had a tornado, maybe a couple hundred mile an hour winds in a tornado coming at you. But this thing would generate winds of well over a thousand miles per hour.

Nothing could live on the planet, if that were the case. And it would destroy all plant, animal life and so on and so on. So I think it has to orbit. and apparently it will be sparkling in the universe like a diamond apparently it’s a heavenly body that’s the way it describes it and it will be uh… i think orbiting the new earth uh… like the moon does and it’ll be uh… our home forever and ever and ever hopefully that helps and thank you for your call of your hope that helps you okay thanks a lot and it doesn’t directly stated that uh…

uh… it just i have a scientific background i have to think about these things and just That doesn’t make any sense that it would be on the surface and no word does the Bible say that it will be. It comes down from heaven to the new earth, but I believe it will be an orbiting body. All right. All right. All fear, Jim in Luke’s Florida calls in with this question. He says, when did Jesus become God? Well the answer is in eternity past.

Jesus Christ has eternally existed. John’s Gospel chapter 1 in the beginning was the Word. It’s saying when the beginning began or when the universe was created, Jesus already existed. He’s been around for eternity. He is God, always been God. He, Jim says in his question here, when Christ was anointed or baptized at 30 years of age, is this when he became God, absolutely not. He was God before he ever took on flesh. And the Bible tells us in John 1, 14, this eternal Word, the eternal second member of the God, second member of the Godhead became flesh when Bethlehem took place at Christmas John 114.

Thank you, Jim, for that question and I hope that that helped you. Otheard Jonathan in Tampa, Florida, calls in and says, why were there four gospels written as eyewitnesses account? And the answer is, I believe, because it gives us four totally different portraits of Christ. If you read them carefully, Christ is presented as a king in Matthew. In March Gospel, he is presented as a servant. In Luke’s Gospel, Christ is presented as a man. And in John’s Gospel, he is presented as God.

And when you get that understanding, you read those books and you will see that things related to the kingdom and Christ being a king. The fact that Weizmann came to see a king are all included in that book. But none of that is in the Christ is simply a servant and all it talks about is as many good works and good deeds that he did and so on. And in John’s Gospel we have no record of the birth because God doesn’t have a birth.

He’s eternal. And it talks about the eternal God who came and took on human flesh to reveal himself here on the earth. Okay I hope that helps you Jonathan. Is there any secular evidence of Jesus being a historical figure? The answer is yes. Did you pick up your newspaper today, Jonathan? It has the date at the time. It’s November, the year 2007. What year, 2007 from what? From Jesus. Every time you see the date, you can’t write a check and have it be legal unless you date and you are testifying when you date your check that Christ was here two thousand and seven years ago.

Historical evidence, there’s more evidence that Jesus Christ is who he claims to be than that George Washington was the first president of the United States. Heh, the evidence is overwhelming. Think about it. You can’t rather check without testifying the fact that Christ is here. We have here in, I don’t know where that city is, but Rolando calls in, I think it’s from a foreign country. He says, where in the Bible does it say anyone is going to heaven? Well, there are numerous verses that talk about being caught up to heaven.

John, for example, in chapter 4 verse 1 of Revelation, says he saw a door opened in heaven, and Christ said to him that come up here, and John was caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
