And if you’d like to go, give us your name and we’ll talk to you about the details on that. And the trip is a wonderful trip and the thing is to really enjoy that. I’ve been 15 times, this will be trip number 16. We’ve done it different ways and sometimes you can travel real cheap and stay in a hospital or something like that.

And the problem is is everybody gets sick. They don’t get any rest. Half of the time they’re in a bed not touring on the bus because they just, they can’t handle it without a good night’s rest. And so we stay in good hotels because we need to get a good night’s rest and be able to eat well so that you can take the trip which is intense all day long. We get up at 6 or 6.30 and we eat at 7.30.

We’re on the bus and we don’t get back until late in the afternoon. Then we have a full evening program and people need a good night’s rest at night. So if you’d like to go, we’ll have a wonderful time on this coming trip. We’d love to have you be a part of it. And if you would give us a call, we’ll give you the information as we develop it. And we’d love to have you go on the trip with us.

Also, we want you to know that we will be having a third Sunday dinner coming up on the 20th of this month. And we’d love to have you come and be a part of that. If you just come at 1030, be my guest, bring your Bible, your family, your appetite, and then join us for the… A great day. You will enjoy your wonderful experience. Think about that the third Sunday dinner. Just join us for that third Sunday dinner. Thank you so much for tuning in today.

If you have a Bible question, let us know. We will be glad to be here. It’s on your dinner. So thank you so much for tuning in today if you have a good day. If you have a Bible question, let us know. And we’ll be glad to get you hooked up with us. And we hope that you’ll enjoy that dinner. Our third Sunday. Thank you so much. Alright, we’re going to get into the Bible. If you have your Bible, get it open.

And please study along with us. And if you have your Bible open there, turn it to the book of Matthew. We had somebody bring up, they wrote me a letter about the ten virgins, and they said that basically that not all would go up in the rapture. Five would be left behind. And obviously they don’t know much about the scripture because this is not talking about the rapture. It’s talking about the Second Coming. You have to be able to rightly divide the word and be able to separate between the rapture and the second coming.

They are totally two different events. At the rapture Christ is not coming as a king, but he comes as the head of the church and will catch the believers up to himself to meet us in the air. And then God will begin the seven-year tribulation period which will be a period of preparing Israel to receive her king and when the bridegroom comes at the end of that seven year period, that’s of course when the second coming will occur at the end of the tribulation period.

So let’s go over to Matthew 25 and what is interesting here that you can get right to the point as you go to the end of this particular parable and we find that Jesus says to the five foolish virgins in verse 12, verily I say unto you, I know you not. That means we’re never saved. I know you not. The Bible is very clear in 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 19, or chapter 2 verse 19, he says, the Lord knows those that are his.

The foundation of the Lord stands sure that he knows those that are his. So if you are saved, won’t you become born again. Once you trust the word of Savior, the Lord knows those that are his. You become his, he’s bought you, he’s paid for you, you’re saved, you’re saved forever. And so whenever he says I know you not, that means you were never saved and these five foolish virgins were never saved. It’s talking about the second coming and we find here that the marriage and the celebration that follows is what is being spoken about here and that’s the millennium the marriage supper of the lamb is a thousand years celebration well the whole earth will be a peace and the animals of the peace the nations will learn more no more and the whole earth will celebrate the marriage of christ to his lamb

to rather to his bride and as he comes back uh… israel receive Christ is your king and the kingdom will be gone. So here the five foolish virgins were never saved to begin with. They never did no more to save you. And obviously therefore they’re not going to enter in. In Matthew 7 we have something similar where we have people that claim to be Christians and they preach in the name of Christ and they heal in the name of Christ and they do wonderful works in the name of Christ.

When Jesus says to them, I never knew you. I never knew you. So obviously they were not saved and lost. He never knew them. And you either are saved or you are lost. And when you trust Christ, you become saved and saved eternally from that moment on. Once you become saved, it is irreversible. Let me just quote some great verses that you need to write down someplace. John 637, Jesus says, Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.

That means for no reason or no instance will Christ ever cast out a believer, one who has come to Him. And better than that is verse 39 where He says, He would not lose one. Not one would ever be lost. Let me quote it. It says, This is the Father’s will which has sent me. And of all which have given me I should lose none not one not one would ever be lost think about this if one person Wherever lost in all of history that had come to Christ Jesus would be a liar.

He promised he would not lose one. How do you get around that? Jesus would not lose one. You know, if it said he would lose one all of my life, I’d have to worry. Maybe I’m the one he’s going to lose. Oh, oh, panic, panic. All my life, I’d have to panic and be living in fear that I might be the very one that he would lose. It’s so great to see that Christ said he would not lose one.

Not one would be lost. Write those down, John 637, him that come to me I will know why it’s cast out. He’ll never cast out anyone who has come to him. And secondly, he says he would not lose one. That means you’re not keeping your salvation. You are not keeping your salvation. God is keeping you saved. We are kept saved by the power of God. And Jesus is actually holding you. He’s keeping you saved according to the Bible. And so I hope that you will just take those verses and write them down and memorize them.

And obviously this is the assurance that we can have as believers. In Hebrews chapter 13 and verse 5 it says there, and this is the words of Christ. He says, I will never leave thee, and I will never forsake thee. Now never means never. Jesus says, I’ll never leave thee. Think about this scenario. Let’s say you did leave your salvation and you went to hell. Jesus would have to go to hell with you. He said, I will never leave you.

That’ll never happen. Jesus will never go to hell. And obviously, if Jesus makes the promise, I will never leave you. And I will never forsake you. How can you ever wind up in hell? How can you ever become lost once you become saved? He says, I will never leave you. I’ll never forsake you. Unbelievable. But it’s amazing what people believe. And if you believe you can lose it, you really don’t have much right because you don’t have salvation right, which is the foundation.

And if you believe in Galysy, you’re really saying you have to do so, but you get it or keep it. And if you are saying that, then you’re trusting in your works for your salvation. And my friend, you’re not saved. I’ll never forget a young man I talked to years ago. And I asked him where he’d go when he died and he said, heaven. I said, how do you know? He says, I’ve trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I asked him a question.

I said, well, what if you don’t read your Bible anymore? What if you don’t go to church anymore? What if you backslide and you die? What would happen then? Oh, he said, I’d go to hell. I said, you’re not saved. He said, yes, I am. I said, no, you’re not. He said, yes, I am. I said, no, you’re not. I said, the reason why you’re not saved is because you’re trusting in your works. He said, no, I’m not. I said, yes, you are.

He said, no, I’m not. I said, yes, you are. And I said, let me just explain it this way. And then maybe I’ve got it wrong. Let’s just ask you the question here. Are you telling me that from this moment on, if you live the Christian life, it’s successfully and you die that you go to heaven and he said yeah that’s exactly right. I said but are you telling me that from this moment on if you don’t live the Christian life successfully and you backslide and quit serving the Lord and then you’ll go to hell.

He said yeah that’s exactly what I’m saying. Well don’t you see what you’re saying? You’re saying that from this point until when you die what you do when you serve Lord or whether you don’t serve Lord, whether you backslide or whether you don’t backslide is what determines when you’re going to go to heaven. That’s works! You’re trusting in your works!

And I said, you’re lost. You’re not saved. And anyway, the next day I saw him again and he said, you know, I couldn’t sleep all last night and I thought about what you said and I realized you were right. And somewhere during the middle of the night he got saved. He trusted Jesus Christ alone, realizing it was not based on his works, what he did in the past or what he’s doing in the present or what he’ll do in the future, but it’s what Christ did for him at the cross that would save him.

He says, but I’ve got a big problem. I said, what’s your big problem? He says, I need to tell my dad. I said, well, what’s the problem with telling your dad? He says, well, my dad is a preacher and he’s the one that taught me the other way. That’s what I understand. But I said, would you do the same thing that I did with you, with your dad? Dad, is this what you teach that if I live the Christian life from this point on faithfully till I die, then I’ll go to heaven.

But Dad, if I don’t live the Christian life successfully in my backslide and die, I’ll go to hell. Dad, that’s works because that is what I’m doing from now till death that determines my salvation to make me the Savior not Christ. And I’m not going to be saved according to the Bible. If I’m trusting in what I’m going to do or not going to do, if I’m trusting in how I live my life to save me, that’s works and you’ll not be saved.

In any case, I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. We look forward to hearing from you. from you, so please give us a call. The phone number here is 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to go to Diane in Clearwater, and Diane, welcome to Bibleline, you’re on the air. Diane? Hello, Diane. Well, I don’t hear Diane, so I don’t know if Diane is still there, but we’ll wait for Diane to come back online here. Maybe we can get our operators to figure out what happened, but I die with silent.

Maybe she wasn’t listening at the moment I picked her up to put her on the line. Let me go ahead and look at a couple of offers here. We have Jo and Pibbroke Pines. He says in John 1028, it’s a great salvation burst. What does it mean in John 1027 when it says they follow me? I thought that the phrase was for the Christian life. Please comment. I think I did a couple of days ago not in answer to your question, Jo, but somebody else brought it up and is talking about there in the context of salvation that believers follow Christ in the heaven.

We pointed out that Jesus said in John 8 that if you didn’t believe that Christ was God who took on flesh, where Christ was going which is heaven after his death, that you could not come. He says you cannot come, you cannot go where I am going because he was going to go to heaven and because they rejected Christ they were not going to be able to go to heaven. So they didn’t follow Christ. Jesus said in John 14, 6, I am the way the truth to life and no man can come.

No man can come unto the Father except by me. So Christ died and he went back to heaven and to be able to follow Christ into heaven to come to the Father, you must trust Christ as Savior. So this is talking about salvation and it is true of every believer that we follow Christ into heaven. All right. Thank you, Jo, and I hope that helps. We now have Diane in Clearwater. She’s back. All right. Welcome, Diane. Hi. How are you?

Good. Good. I have a question about what, physically, what you think, what your thoughts are on the the ABA program and the Celebrate Recovery Program. And if that is going through those programs, if you are a belief in issues. Well, the whole point is that it can be any God, you know, into the sun. And but I think the programs are helpful. People have been helped by the programs. But the truth is that the one true and living God is Jesus Christ who took on human flesh and came to the pair pay for our sins.

Just to believe in any God doesn’t save you. And of course, salvation, once you become saved, God gives you the Holy Spirit, which really gives you the power to be able to have victory over alcohol or other addictions. And I think that is so important to know. Let me just give you a couple of verses. Acts 4, 12, Peter says, neither is there salvation in any other, for there’s none other name. None other name. They won’t mention the name of Jesus Christ in AA.

And these other recovery programs, they don’t mention Jesus as being the only way to heaven. But Peter says, neither is there salvation in any other, for there’s none other name under heaven. Given of my men whereby we must be same. John 14-6 that we just quoted earlier, I am the way. John’s 14-6 Christ says, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life, and no man cometh under the Father but by me. And sometimes it bothers me that you can help somebody even if you deliver them from an addiction, but if they die without Christ they go to hell.

What good have you done? A medical doctor might allow you to have a few more years of life here on this planet, but if you die without Christ, what have you accomplished? Because ultimately you’ll be cast into hell for all eternity. So I think the programs are good, but you need to really fill in the blessings there and say Jesus Christ is the God that you need to. He comes to know by trusting him as your savior, and then God the Holy Spirit then comes and enters your body.

It becomes his temple and he gives you the power to be able to have victory over the addictions and alcohol. And celebrate recovery. Use that which is a Christian program but you don’t have to believe to be saved to be part of the program. and they say it’s based in Jesus Christ. But it uses the AA program and tries to put scripture to it. And I’m not sure if that is also something that works. That sounds like it’s a lot better.

I haven’t read over what they actually say. But sometimes, you know, even though Christ is mentioned, oftentimes when you add works to that, that you have to do something of yourself to be saved, which is the counterfeit of Christianity. It’s not going to save you either, because as we were just talking a moment ago, if you’re attempting to live the Christian life to be saved, then you’re not saved, because you’re trusting in your works and only faith alone in Christ saves, but then we serve because we are saved and because we are grateful.

It says in 2nd Corinthians 5, 14, it’s the love of Christ that constrains us to serve him as we realize, wow, he loved us enough to die for us. The least we can do is live for him and we do it from the heart, not as a means of salvation, is an expression of our gratitude to the Lord for what he said for us. Okay, all right. Hope it helps. Thank you, Diane. And obviously, many people dance around the truth and don’t really come around and say, Jesus Christ is the only Savior, the only way to heaven.

There are not two or three different ways. But everybody without Christ will go to hell. And it doesn’t matter how nice they might be or whether it’s your mother or father or your children. If they don’t know Christ, they’re lost and it’s just that simple. We have Yona in Venice, Florida, and she leaves this offer question. In Acts 2 17 it says in the final days, he will pour his spirit upon all flesh. And that daughter’s as well sons are the prophesied.

That seems to contradict women preaching. Please explain. Well, obviously Acts 2 is quoting from Joel and this hasn’t happened yet if you’ll read Joel chapter 2 When Christ comes back at the second coming he will plot his spirit upon all flesh. This is that hasn’t happened I can tell you within a mile radius of This church that I pastor not many people have the Holy Spirit that verse says he would pour out his spirit upon all All A.L.L. There’s a lot of people in this world today that don’t have the Holy Spirit and just name the world religions, Islam.

They don’t have the Holy Spirit, Hinduism. They don’t have the Holy Spirit, Buddhism. They don’t have the Holy Spirit. And most of the my neighbors don’t have the Holy Spirit. I wish they did. But obviously, if you readiHUDSourceFileabweOTALannotamd################################TORhref219 Yanuk BrowOTAL fascination. But obviously, if you read JOLCHAPTER TWO, it talks about702. Russia being destroyed at the Battle of ArmaGHTON. And it then talks about Christ coming back and actually being fssi-gowneere on the earth, ruling the earth. And it says if you read Joel 2.28, after this, after this, that is after the destruction of Russia, they haven’t been destroyed yet.

After Christ has returned and he’s actually living in Jerusalem, ruling over the earth. After that, he would pour out his Spirit upon all flesh. And then there would be daughters and sons that would prophesy. That hasn’t happened yet. And obviously many people pointed that verse and tried to use it, but it hasn’t been fulfilled yet. It’s still talking about the Second Coming and is talking about events that will take place after Russia has been destroyed at the Battle of Armageddon.

After Christ has returned to rule on this earth, then he’ll pour out his Spirit upon all flesh. Everybody on the planet will receive the Holy Spirit at the Second Coming. Everybody unsaved will be destroyed by Christ at his Second Coming. We need to sign off with Miami. Again, thank you Miami for tuning in. We need your help financially to stay on the air in Miami. And if you could call in and give a gift by credit card over the phone, that would be greatly appreciated.

And for our other areas, we still are in a shortfall. We need your help. This is our Friday. And we need about $5,000 or $6,000 more to make it the shortfall that we’ve been talking about here on the air. Could you help us? If you would, be willing to give a gift you can call and give it my credit card over the phone or you can mail that gift in but we need to really take care of that this weekend.

So if you could help it would be really appreciated and we have a short fall I think it’s part of the economy and things that are happening in this country and in order to… make sure that we don’t have to cut any station that we’re on. We do need to have your help and we need about five or six thousand more to be able to come out on our feet here. So think about that, pray about it, and if you can give a gift, that would be great.

If you can, you don’t, obviously if you can’t give anything, we love you just as much. and every gift is obviously going to be a blessing. So whether it’s a dollar or five or 20 or 50 or 100 or 500 or 1000, whatever you could give would really, really help us at this time. Thank you and I hope everybody listening is saved. That’s a free gift. Jesus paid that payment by his death at the cross and you just receive it by faith, which is incredible.

Can you imagine to be able to live eternally and have a brand new body that will last forever and to be able to be in the presence of the Lord and live in heaven with God. That’s all been paid for and that’s a free gift. If you simply trust Christ that He died and shed His blood and paid your sin that in full is buried in rose again from the dead God saves you forever. We’re going to take a break.

We’ll come back into a second and a half hour Bible. I hope you’ll join me and so keep your radio tuned right where it is and then we’ll catch you in a few minutes and do a second half hour of Bible. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. All right, I’m Dr. Engvens from it. It’s great to be with you today. Thanks again for tuning in. And again, a reminder that we are here on Friday.

And we still have about $5,000 or $6,000 that we need to raise. If you could help us, it would really be great. We are short and we would hate to have to cut off a program, a station where we’re broadcasting and that would be a tragedy and we don’t want that to happen. So we really need every area to help us out here to make sure that we’re able to not drop the station. So if you could help, you could give a gift by credit card over the phone.

You could mail that gift in but we really need to do that right away. We can give on our website if you go to our online bookstore. There’s a place there where you can give by credit card and secure it. You can do that whenever you can get to your computer or just call our 800-number of tunnel operators that you’d like to give a gift. But we still need on this Friday to raise another $5,000 to $6,000 and then we hopefully will be able to be on our feed here.

So pray for us, we are trying our best to get this word out. We have some wonderful opportunities that don’t cost us anything which we’re excited about. We’re going to be of course going on satellite in the turkey on television. That’s a free one that costs us anything. So praise the Lord for all the free doors that open up the Bible and of course the internet is a wonderful way that we’re able to reach into all the world. We have 156 countries that have logged on and people around the world can catch our programs wherever they might be.

But we certainly have a number of stations, probably you’re listing on a station right now, that we have to pay for. And unfortunately, that’s a fact of life. And we don’t have any other means of support than our listeners. That’s right. We don’t have anybody underwriting this program. We don’t have any other funds coming in from many of the sources, we are totally 100% supported by our listeners. And maybe you can help us today, cause. And that’s the 800 number, 1-800-5763771.

And you can give by credit card over the phone. And you can also mail that gift in. Ask for an envelope to be sent to you if you want. And mail it in, but we definitely need your help. I want to thank you to the advance. God bless all of you who pray for and give to Bible and without your help we could not. We’re going to go back and rejoin the stations now that have been on break and do a second half hour of Bibleline.

And we hope that you’ll stay with us now for the second half hour. It’s also going to be on the Internet. Yeah, you can listen there live and also at any time of day or night. So here we go. Hold on. We’re going to do second half. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800- Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back for a night break and this is 5-line and this is the second half hour.

We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church. And we’re looking at just one block west of the Tampa International Airport, easy to find from wherever you might be coming from. becoming from as we’re just on the west side of the airport at 4811 George Road in Tampa, Florida and we’re midway between Memorial Highway and Hillsborough Avenue on George, which if you’re familiar with the area on the west of the airport you have the beginning of the Veterans Expressway and one block further west you have George Road running north and south and we’re about midway directly west of the Tampa airport so easy to find and if you can come out and visit us with a baby do it we’re teaching second peter on tuesday nights and you can come between seven and nine and get in on this coming tuesday

class five and six and then the following week class seven and eight the following week in class nine and ten we’ve got three more weeks to go three more tuesday to go and we’ll finish up the ten hours of teaching on second Peter. I think you’ll find it a wonderful teaching and you’ll enjoy that. We did first Peter. That’s already available. And these are available not only on CD but on DVD, which means you can get the video and the audio.

And that would be wonderful if you could do that. By the way, Bibleline has experienced the shortfall. I think it’s part of our economy and things that are happening in our country. But we have needed $20,000 this week. And So far, about 15 of that has come in a little over 14. And we need your help to get that last $5,000 today. So if you could give a gift to Bibleline, it would be greatly appreciated. And you could call in and give that gift by credit card over the phone or mail that gift in.

And I hope that you will step up and help us. No gift is too small. If you can only give a dollar, God bless you. A lady gave me a check this week for $10. I thank her. She said, that’s all I can do. And I said, I understand. And God will richly reward you for giving that 10 that apparently was tough for her to give. But if you can give more, if you could give a 50 or a 100 or 2 or 500 or 1,000, you could really help us out.

We’ve got to get that last $5,000, almost $6,000 by this weekend. And you could do that by helping us, by calling, and and giving it by credit card or go to the online bookstore on our website BibleLineMinistries.org and you can do it on our secure website and help us out. Thank you and advance God bless everyone of you. I wish I could hug you. Thank you all of you that have given and those that are going to do that.

that today. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We appreciate you so much. We are totally dependent on our listeners. We don’t have any other source. We have nobody underwriting this program and we need our listeners to help us out. We’re going to Charles in St. Petersburg and Charles. Welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Earth. Hello. Yeah, Charles, you’re on the Earth. Oh, hi. I’ve had a question about basically the similarities and differences in Genesis chapter 1 and chapter 2 and everything goes.

I was just wondering if you can help clear that up for me at all? No problem. Actually what’s going on in chapter 1 you have the detailed explanation of what happens each day and chapter 2 is more of a summary and focuses on man, the crowning creation of God as you find early on in chapter 2. It summarizes and then it says, and then God took dust of the ground and fashioned man and breathing his nostrils the breath of life and then became a living soul.

And you notice it focuses on the garden, it focuses on the two trees in the garden, it focuses on the one tree that they’re not supposed to eat of, the tree of the nose are good and evil, and how that was one command that A man was given responsibility not to take of that tree and then of course it leads us into the temptation in chapter three. So that’s the answer. It’s just chapter one is a blow-by-blow day-by-day description of what happens and then chapter two kind of summarizes and then focuses on man.

That’s all it is. Yeah, I mean, I kind of got that out of it. I was just wondering if there was anything more. I’ve heard different types of interpretations on that. Like the things like that. like that. I heard one time somebody said, well that’s the difference between the creation of the Jewish race and the creation of the Gentiles. That’s not true at all. Basically like an any writer. He explained the overall picture and then focused in on a particular point that they want to focus on.

Obviously man is an important player here and what happened the sixth day now is brought out in greater detail in chapter two. Well, they’re, like for the comment that I just said, they’re reasoning behind that was they said that that is how King found his wife because there was the two different creations and then King found his wife out there when he was wandering. Well, of course that’s not true. The first man was Adam and the first woman was Eve.

clear from the New Testament record as well. And then of course the murder took place actually after King and Abel were probably 125 years old and sub-speculate. By that time the world’s population would be well over 100,000, maybe up as many as 200 or 300,000 people. And that he was already married to his wife. But what it says there in Genesis 4 is that he knew her sexual needs he conceived and brought forth children in the land of not but he was already married to her probably when the murder took place and was then banished and he took his wife with him and there they had sex in the land of not and she had children.

Oh okay that actually Mick Lottner. All right. Thank you Charles and that was Charles in St. Petersburg. We’re going to D in Richmond, Virginia and D, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. That’s the hand caving there. Good. I’d like to let it load down on us 40 days of purpose that churches are doing. Can you give me a load down on that? Well, Rick Warren has developed this, but you know the, we have two books here that that exposes that thing.

One is called, who is driving the purpose driven church, and the other book is called the Seabum purpose. And boy, they really take that 40 days of purpose theme and show that it’s totally taken out of context and that there is no 40 days of purpose that are developed by the 40 days in any of the examples that Rick Warren uses. But basically it’s become a fad and unfortunately the churches that take on that program generally go away from the Bible rather than to the Bible and a lot of the churches darken their auditoriums take away all Christian symbols.

They put everything on a jumbotron or whatever they use lots of other translations. In fact, the worst probably in the world is the message Bible which Rick Warren thinks is wonderful. And I think that’s not only is it wrong in so many places, but it’s very disrespectful when it refers to God. The Lord’s Prayer is an example where it talks about, you know, give us three squares every day and basically talks about God as a heavenly daddy. I just, it loses some of the reverence I think you have in the King James and other the Bible.

But Rick Warren’s plan of salvation is also flawed. It’s all about relationship and it’s wrongly defined. When you become saved, you are born again and you become related to God by the new birth. But they talk about relationship in a different way, in a way that is often used in the world here and how your relationship can end or come to a conclusion. Our relationship with God that happens at the moment of salvation has nothing to do with our behavior, has nothing to do with our conduct, has nothing to do with our obedience, it is a birth that is of God and it’s not of works and it’s not of our self and it’s not of our will or desire or it’s not as a result of some religion or organization or denomination that decrease it, it’s all of God.

And it says that in John 1.12, as many as received Christ, to them gave He authority for them to become born again, to become the sons of God. Those that believe on Christ’s name, which are born not of the will of the flesh nor the will of man, but they’re born of God. It’s a birth of God and it’s not a birth of flesh. And so once you trust Christ your relationship is unchangeable. It’s eternal. It’s forever. It cannot be undone.

But in the Rick Warren philosophy, Jack Hybels philosophy, if you can, if you start a relationship in Christ, you can’t do it. continue it then it will continue into eternity but if you don’t continue it will be discontinued at death and you go to hell. So basically it’s a salvation by works message. I have Rick Warren’s video and he says in the third video I’ve played it I don’t know how many times. He says what you do on earth determines where you will spend eternity.

It works and it’s wrong and we have two books that really do take the book apart and expose to you what’s really being said in the book. Okay, thank you. You’re welcome. And so we recommend you order those books and read it for yourself. And we now have Matthew in Sarasota and Matthew, welcome to Bibleline you’re on here. I want to know what happens. The people that are Aboriginal or people that are Native, they didn’t even chance to hear the name of Jesus Christ and learn of His salvation.

Okay, good question. The answer is that absolutely wherever you live, it doesn’t matter. God puts a knowledge of the fact that He exists in you. Romans 119 says that. Romans 119. And then verse 20 says you are then without excuse. You have a responsibility to seek God. Let me give you another verse now. Jeremiah 2913, it says, You shall seek me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart. And so God promises to get the message to anyone no matter where they might live, no matter how remoted might be, if you only want to seek the true and living God.

And I have talked to missionaries to Indians and they tell me that almost every Indian culture has the story of a man who would die and pay for sin and so on, come back from the dead. But, you know, the majority have gone away from that message and rejected it. Obviously they’re not going to have an excuse one day, but history records what is true of the majority oftentimes and doesn’t tell the story of the smaller groups. And so when history is recorded about our time now, I think those that have truly embraced the Bible and believed it probably are going to make the history books.

But the mass majority who have departed from the Bible and have just made up their own doctrines as they go and have disregarded what it says in the Word of God are going to get the publicity and they’ll be on the history books. Unfortunately, when it comes down to their death, if they die without Christ they’ll be forever lost. I have a number of things I’ve written on it plus some CDs about that topic and if you go to my website BibleInindustries.org, go to the bottom right hand corner where it says Dr.

Lynch with articles and look up the one on heathen what happens to the heathen and I think there’s tons of examples in the Bible of people who were searching no matter where they lived got the message of the gospel to them. Okay, perhaps you another question? Yeah. What happens is they die and they never knew Jesus but they live honorably according to their own society? Well they want to go into hell. If you read Acts chapter 10 you have a man like that.

He was born in Italy. He was a soldier. He was doing duty in Israel. He was a good man and lived to help others and so on. And he was searching. And that’s the key. And as a result, God, getting to name up with Peter, he heard the gospel and he got saved. His name was Cornelius. And there’s tons of examples like that. But Cornelius was not saved because he was a good man. actually before God there are no good men.

The Bible says for all the sin and all have come short of the glory of God, Romans 3 23. And in Romans chapter 3 verse 10 it says, as it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. So you can think of the nicest person you’ve ever met. And according to the Bible they’re not righteous because our righteousness is far short of the righteousness of God which is what’s required for salvation. That’s That’s why I am on the radio.

That’s why I witness to people. That’s why I share the gospel because people might be nice, they might be religious, they might go to church, but they’re going to hell if they haven’t trusted Christ as their only means of salvation. I wouldn’t Christ security them after they’re deaf from teaching this gospel if they’ve never heard him before and given a chance to accept them. They get saved in this lifetime. In other words, if you read Joe but tells us and you can all read that article of mine.

God promises if you’re seeking, he won’t let you die till you hear it. So he’ll get it to you while you’re alive. But once you die, it’s too late. It’s too late. You gotta hear it while you’re alive. And if you’re seeking, God will keep you alive through war, disease, battle. It says until a messenger can get to you and tell you the story. And obviously some people can save the last moment of their life. But dying thief is an example of that.

He was dying on the cross. And in this final moment, he trusts Christ and Jesus said to him, today thou shalt be with me in paradise. He was dying that very day and that very day he would join Christ in paradise and he’s obviously giving me in heaven forever. So nope, you’ve got to get saved before you die there. No second chances after you die. Okay, thank you. Okay, and if you read Luke 16, Matthew, it tells us that there are two men who die there, one saved and one’s lost and it’s very clear there that the unsafe man who is in flame and torment immediately upon his death uh…

was appealing and there was no second chance offered him there is no second chance you’ve got to reach your family you have to reach people with the gospel while they’re living before they died don’t wait until they died too late we have any now in tarpon springs florida and any welcome to buy one year on the air Yeah, you’re on the internet right now Eddie. Okay, good. You have a question? Yes, good morning. Good morning sir. Yes, before the break, I noticed the, I noticed you mentioned something about the yolks after two promise of the Holy Spirit.

Yes. And then in chapter two of Act I see Peter mentioned and the pouring of the Holy Spirit, the spirit. I noticed Peter mentioned that that was the fulfillment of the promises of the Holy Spirit you mentioned before the break. Yes. And, but, well, it has to be fulfilled yet. Let me correct you because Peter does not say it was fulfilled. That word fulfilled is used in many New Testament passages and is popular also in the book of Acts.

But Peter is saying that the Holy Spirit, given a Pentecost, is the same Spirit that was spoken about by Joel in that prophecy that will be given to all flesh at the end of the tribulation period at the Second Coming of Christ, but he never uses the word fulfillment. That prophecy was not fulfilled and that prophecy is yet to be fulfilled and Peter does not say that it was fulfilled. He says, this Holy Spirit was given to Pentecost is the same Holy Spirit that Joel promises will be given at the Second Coming to all flesh.

It’s clearly not happened because all flesh don’t have the Holy Spirit. That’s the first part of the ingredient that is not there. Plus, if you read the context of Joel 2, it’s after Russia is destroyed and after Christ has already come back. The radio is up. Are you listening to the phone or the radio? All right. All right. Thank you so much for getting that radio in the background. You can’t listen to the radio because it’s 20 seconds behind and you’ll never be able to figure out what’s going on.

We have Bob in Brandon, Florida, and Bob, what from the Bible? You’re on the air. So Hank, God bless. Thank you. You’ve been blessing to my life and my family. I’ve learned a lot to you, and I just thank God for your ministry. And I’ll let you know that I consider you my pastor. Everything I know I learned from you. Praise the Lord. That’s wonderful. And my question is about Propping Three, verse 20. It says, be not among wine bivers.

I don’t know if I’m saying the right. That’s correct. My, can you explain about John, who, when Jesus was at the wedding? Well, you know, the Bible doesn’t forbid the drinking of alcohol, but it does forbid getting drunk. and wine bibbers are people to sit there and continually drink until they get drunk. And so you don’t want to hang with people like that because it’s contagious. The Bible says evil companions will corrupt good banners and if you’re hanging with people to get drunk you’re probably going to get out when they’re getting drunk also.

So you need to not hang with those kind of people and pick your friends carefully. But it doesn’t forbid the drinking of alcohol. I don’t drink any alcohol at all. I just don’t want to give any appearance or give people occasion to think that I do, but it’s not forbidden in the Bible. It only forbids drunkenness. And if you go to Ephesians 5, 18, it says, be not drunk with wine. We’re in his excess, but it doesn’t say that you could not drink alcohol, but I prefer not to do it at all.

So I hope that helps Bob, and thank you so much for your call. We now have, let’s see, Carl in Tampa, Florida, and Carl welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. You mentioned the message, but I don’t read that. I read the game James. Somebody gave me a reading passage. The New Year was in John, first John, I feel it was. And the King James says, believe not every spirit. In the next Bible it says, do not believe everyone.

Isn’t there a difference between those two? I mean, believing everyone, believing every spirit. This isn’t the part battle, it’s the spiritual battle. And we rest not against flesh, but against powers and high flesh. We’re talking about spiritual battle. Whereas the message Bible, I don’t know that it’s actually saying it’s not clear enough. I say I do not believe everyone. Okay, thank you so much. Sometimes it actually reverses the message. The passage that I go to a lot and refer to in Matthew 7 where many will say, Lord, Lord, we preach in your name and healed in your name as one of Christ said, I never knew you.

The message Bible completely turns out around and said that they didn’t preach enough and they didn’t do enough good works. And that’s why they weren’t saved. And it just makes salvation by works. And it’s just clearly wrong from the get-go as you begin to read. And it does change the meaning throughout. And sometimes in that particular case it completely reverses it and makes it the opposite of what it’s really saying. So you need to be careful and there are some writings out now that expose some of the more bearing problems with the message Bible.

Sometimes the problem is when they’re brand new out in the market, nobody’s had enough time to really do a thorough examination and it takes five or ten years before something comes out to really expose how bad it is. But I don’t think, I think the average person can see how bad the message Bible is pretty easily. Thank you for calling in. We now have Nick in Clearwater. Nick, welcome to Viblon. You’re on the air. Hello. Hi. You’re on the air.

Hello. Oh, okay. Hey, Pastor Anker. You’re doing this is Nick. I wanted to give you a quick update. I spoke about a year ago about churches that I was looking for. It was really turning me off as a new Christian. Then I met you when I came up to your church and you had told me to stick to what you’re looking for. Straight with the word. Well, it took me about a year, but I finally found a place. I appreciate your advice very much so and it worked out really well for me and my entire family.

So I wanted to say thanks on that and the question I had was from my wife and she was She was asking me about the bloodline of Jesus when she says that if you read it says that it leaves a s***. It leads to Joseph, but yet Mary had Jesus and they never had intercourse. So was it really, how did it work? Or she was kind of confused about that. Well, the answer is in Luke chapter 3, you have the genealogy of Mary.

She also is related back to David. But through David’s other son, Nathan, if you read the Matthew genealogy, it goes from David through Solomon down to Joseph. But if you read Luke’s genealogy, it goes from David to Nathan down to Mary. And so it really is the genealogy of the two parents. And so Jesus of the flesh, we’ve related back to King David through Mary’s side. The Luke chapter three. Yeah. Thank you so much. I’ll have a look that up.

All right. Thank you. Nick and Clearwater. Let me say again that Bible and needs your help today. We are trying to finish out this week and we still need over $5,000, almost $6,000. And if you could help us today, that would be wonderful. If you would call in and then just tell our operators you’d like to give a gift, you can by credit card and again any amount is going to be helpful. We really want to thank you if you say well I just can’t give very much five, ten, twenty dollars but if you can give more, if you can give fifty or a hundred or five hundred or a thousand it would be wonderful.

We’ve got to get this taken care of and we need to do it this weekend and your gift would be greatly appreciated. Just call and tell our privilege you like to give a gift to Bible and you can also mail it but if you could do it. Over the phone or go to my website, BibleLineMinistries.org, and you can give it there on a secure website at BibleLineMinistries.org. Go to the online bookstore, and there you’ll find a place to do that.

God bless all of you and pray for us so we can get out of this tight spot this week and hopefully continue on the air and your area. And we are excited about what God is doing. We hear about people getting saved all the time. and people getting dedicated and earning and growing. And you probably hear this as you listen to the program as well. And we’re excited. We’re going to be getting some opportunities here to get on the television over Turkey, as we said.

That’s free. That costs us anything. So a lot of the things that we’re doing, we can do free or cheap, and we try to do that. But the stations where you’re listening right now, we have to pay. So pray for us so we can get that taken care of God bless you have a great weekend if you get a chance come see me If you’re in the area and otherwise join us again on Monday God bless you and have a wonderful weekend and keep looking up Jesus is coming You’ve been listening to Bibleline a presentation of Bibleline ministries of Tampa, Florida Your donation to Bibleline makes it possible for this ministry to continue in your area Bible lines address is This is 4811 George Road, Tampa, Florida, 33634.

We’ve had a great week with you. Monday’s from Friday this week, we reach a lot of people with the God Bibleline program and people have given us some wonderful words of encouragement about how they’ve gotten saved or are learning or growing through the Bible and program. And again, we thank all of you who are helping us, especially through this crisis.

And if you haven’t, as yet, your gift would be greatly appreciated. Just call anytime today and you can do it by credit card on the phone or you can go to our website, BibleLineMinistries.org, and give it on the online bookstore by Credit Card and it’s secure and you’ll be fine. And that would really help us out a lot. And we’re thanking the advance. God bless every one of you who give and pray for Bibleline. You’re the ones who make it possible.

And we sure do thank you and praise the Lord for you. We hope to get to meet you sometime. If not here, we’ll meet you in the air. That’s for sure. The Word of God is powerful and sharper than the Intuigence Lord. And we hear the Bible and try to get out the Word to people to let them know what it says. And it’s not our opinions, but rather what the Word of God has plainly states. And I think it’s wonderful to see Christians who stand for the truth of God’s Word and are willing to share that truth, wherever they go.

Again, we pray that everybody listening has trusted Christ as Savior. It’s a wonderful gift and you can receive it by simply trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for you and for me. When you trust His death and shed blood is the only means of your salvation, God saves you. It’s really that simple. In any case, we’ve got a run. We’ll be back on Monday. In the meantime, you can worship with us on Sunday by going to our website and clicking on that camera.

That’s Bible on Ministries.org. on the camera and you’ll get our worship service if you do that about 11 o’clock Sunday morning and otherwise you can watch our worship services as often as you like 24 7 every day of the week in our cave. Gotta run keep looking up Jesus is coming and we’ll join you again on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend. Take care.
