God bless all of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. You’re favorless in giving and the word took us out of that negative there. God bless you. Thank you so much. And every one of you, whether you gave a small gift or a larger gift, everything came together to take care of that need. And of course, Bible, and as this is important, we continue to have ongoing expenses. He took us out of a hole there and we thank you for doing that.

God bless everyone who gave last week to our special need. We’re still talking about Israel and if you want to go, it looks like it’ll be February 2009. If the Lord hasn’t come and taken us out first, we’ll go on a wonderful 15-day trip, broken into two parts, 10 days Israel, and a five-day option and precedes that which will take us to Egypt and Jordan and to a lot on the Red Sea. It would be exciting. Love to have you go.

If you have your Bible, get it out. We’ll talk about the Bible for a few minutes and then we’ll get into the callers that call in and you’re welcome to call us here at 1-800-576-3771. Wow, so many things are happening in the world right now. It leads us to believe that we’re getting close to the Lord’s return, especially as we watch Jerusalem. Jerusalem, Jerusalem. The Bible tells us that that is the city to keep your eye on. And of course we know that the temple was there.

The first and second temples, the third temple will be rebuilt there. That’s where Jesus will come back to. And prior to his second coming after the Rapture, the Bible tells us all nations will come together against Jerusalem to battle. So we need to look at Jerusalem and watch what’s happening in the Middle And right now it looks like they’re talking about war in the Middle East. We don’t know. But from what I’m reading, they say somewhere between May 1st and maybe the end of June.

The United States might attack. I ran. And… Well, there’s expecting to be a lot of fallout and of course Israel will be of retaliated against it whether they are involved in it or not. And it looks like there’s a lot of talk on the Internet about a potential war here coming up with Iran in the next couple of weeks, perhaps. Wow! So, take a look if you’re on the Internet, just Google that, you’ll see that they’re talking about the Proximal War in the Middle East.

We know that the stage is being set for the Antichrist who is going to actually militarily take over all the core countries there in the Middle East. And what we’ll escape is a portion of land that is really modern day Jordan. Do you have your Bible there? Do you have it, Haney? Can you reach over and grab your Bible? and you open it up to Daniel and can you turn to Daniel chapter 11? If you can, you can be looking at what I’m looking at here.

Daniel chapter 11, it says here about the Antichrist that he will actually enter into the Middle East militarily. And in verse 41, it says he shall enter also into the glorious land. He’s actually going to take over Israel halfway through the seven-year tribulation period that will follow the rapture. This one wraps it out. Three and a half years later the Antichrist will take over the Middle East and he will take over even Israel. It says here, many countries shall be overthrown.

I believe they are what are known as ancient Assyria which includes all of Saudi Arabia, all of Iraq, all of Syria, all of Lebanon, all of Israel and all of Egypt. It actually says that here, many countries shall be overthrown. But even these shall escape out of his hand even me, Edom and Moab and the children of Ammon. Now Ammon today is the present in the capital of the country of Jordan. And Edom and Moab, if you look at a map, Ammon, Edom and Moab are all modern-day Jordan.

And it says here in my Bible that the Antichrist, when he takes over these many countries in the Middle East, which will be everything that was ancient Assyria, and by the way when When the Syria grew, it grew in a counterclockwise direction. You start off in Saudi Arabia and you move up to the left and around. You will go through Iraq. You will go through Syria. You’ll start coming down and go through Lebanon. You’ll come down through Israel and you’ll wind up down in Egypt.

And that’s exactly what the plan is here coming up in the future where the Antichrist will take over all these countries. It will include Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Egypt. But Jordan is going to escape out of his hands. Now we’ve been talking here in the past few weeks, a few times, about Petra, a rock city carved out of the rock 2,500 years ago. It remained lost to the world for about 2,000 years. That’s been rediscovered since 1850 by a British archaeologist named Burkhardt.

But it’s a city of about 40 square miles of territory carved right out of the rock that’s ready for the Jews to go to the flea from the Antichrist. And the Bible actually speaks about a city that is the prayer of God where God will feed and take care of Israel once again during the tribulation period. It’s called the beautiful rose red city of Petra, but in numerous times. And its beauty is incredible. And it’s a place where the Bible describes that the Jewish people will flee.

And it’s in what is modern-day Jordan. And that says here that that land will apparently be politically neutral. Be out of the hands of the Antichrist. That’s why they’ll be safe there. But it says also in verse 42, the Antichrist will stretch forth his hand upon the countries and the land of Egypt shall not escape. So he’ll wind up taking over Egypt. He’ll have power over the treasures of gold and silver and then over all the precious things of Egypt and the Libyans and the Ethiopian shall be at his steps If you look at a map when you look at Egypt to the right you have Ethiopia to the left You have Libya the Antichrist will have taken over Egypt and will be ready To take over Libya and Ethiopia, but he stops.

Why does he stop? Why does he stop? It tells us right here why he stops. He doesn’t go any further It says because tidings out of the east. I believe that’s China And tidings out of the North, I believe that’s Russia, well, trouble him. And you know, Ethiopia and Ethiopia both have ties with Russia. And so apparently Russia is saying, you better not touch him. And China also, and we find apparently he stops right there at the borders of Libya and Ethiopia.

And the Antichrist, according to verse 45 of Daniel, it says, He’ll plant the tabernacle of his palace. Between the seas, now the two seas it’s talking about here is the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean. Look at a map. If you have one around, you’ll find that dead center between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea is Jerusalem. It’s in the middle. It’s right there. And it says here he’ll plant the tabernacle of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain.

That is Jerusalem. And so Jerusalem will be the place where the Antichrist will build this tabernacle where he will live. and where he will rule the Western world. So we got some insight here to what’s going to happen in the Middle East, and we already are seeing a whole lot of shaking and jumping around. Interesting stuff, isn’t it? We are living close to when we see them take place. It’s not just one thing that’s happening. Everything that Christ said is beginning to come to pass before our very eyes.

We find also that there are these incurable diseases. I don’t know if you read about it, but there’s a disease that in Texas now. Over a thousand cases where people feel like there are worms or bugs crawling into their skin and it breaks out into lesions and they have these fibers that come out and they can grab them with the tweezers and pull these fibers out and I saw it on the news where they are looking at these fibers and they’re not made by humans but they are actually formed in the body and come out through the lesions that they don’t know what this is.

This is scary scary disease and apparently there’s over a thousand cases in Texas. Lots of new things happening here in the Bible said in Matthew 24 that there would be these incurable diseases. Boy we have a host of them today don’t we? These are all new to us. I don’t think anybody ever talked about these things when I was a child about AIDS or Ebola or the West Nile virus or Asian bird flu or all these other crazy things that are out there, these man eating flesh eating bacteria that they have today, the the MRSA germs that now are common everywhere that people can get that and you can kill you a staff infection today that’s so powerful that only a few antibiotics will be able to stop it.

We’re living in the last days. Famine all the time now we’re reading about food shortages. worldwide. Earthquakes and divers, places have you just read off of Oregon, they had in the past 10 days over 600 earthquakes underneath the ocean floor, they’re off to the coast of Oregon on the west part of the United States. Crazy things happening all part of the End Times and I think we’re living close here, but the Antichrist will take over Israel and the neighbors around Israel, but one part of the Middle East will escape the hand of the Antichrist.

verse 41 of Daniel chapter 12 and it says even eat them and Moab and the chief of the children of Amman that is modern-day Jordan. Amman is the capital of Jordan. I’ve stayed there numerous times on trips to Israel and at least and that is the capital. If you go south you have the land of Moab and eat him and that’s where the Rock City of Petra is and no wonder it is going to be protected by god so that you people can get there by the way if you flee from jorusul to petra you’ll find if you draw a straight line between jorusul and petri and go right through the dead scene just what’s happened the dead see because the surface is going down down down as they don’t allow water from the georgon to the dead see anymore there has been exposed now a sandbar

that is like a highway that runs diagonally right across the dead sea and if you run a line from Jerusalem to Petri guess what there’s a highway, God has barely had him to the Dead Sea all along but now is exposed that will allow the Jewish people to flee straight down across the Dead Sea right into Petri I have a satellite map and boy you can see it’s so good from outer space this sandbar, this highway, God has prepared for the Jews to be able to flee.

And guess what? We were there a few weeks ago we were on the top of Masada, which is a mesa about 1200 feet above the floor of the Dead Sea Valley. And you can see this highway so clear. It’s a clear shot for Jewish people fleeing the Antichrist. When he takes over the land of Israel in the middle of the tribulation period, he’ll be able to flee straight to Petra where they’ll be protected by God miraculously and fed there until the end of the tribulation when the Bible says that Isaiah 16, that the Messiah will go to Petra and actually lead these people back into the promise land as you gather them back into his land as he rules over them during the millennium.

I’m excited I don’t know about you but I think maybe we’re getting close to when the Lord’s gonna snatch us all out. I have you aware of that and by the way if he comes this year it’ll probably be on the Feast of Trumpets. That’s the most reasonable day for him to come as the feast days all picture events related to the two companies of Christ Christ died on the Feast of Passover buried during the Feast of Unleavened Bread bros from the dead on the Feast of First Fruits the Holy Spirit came on a day of Pentecost and began his present age the next feast that will end the sages of the When the Rapture happens, that’s washer sonna and this year, it’s September 29th and 30th.

You might have a few months left before we’re raptured out. I don’t know if a warden’s coming this year or not, but it could be that he would. If he didn’t, he might start counting down because at the end of September we might all be going out of here. Now, please play this back if you thought I said the Rapture was happening this year. I didn’t say that. People like to misquote you, but I didn’t say that. I said it could happen.

It could happen. And it could happen. It could happen. And it could happen this year. Wouldn’t that be something? Anyway, I’m Dr. Englundstrom and we’re going to go ahead and hit the phone lines here. Phone number is 1-800-576-3771 and we welcome you to call. And we have Jimmy from Tampa on the line. Jimmy, welcome to my line. You’re on the air. All right, Jimmy. Go ahead. You’re on the air. Okay. Thank you for a good morning. Nice to meet you.

Thank you. I have a question. I want to see if you can get one. I’m right here Jimmy. I have a question about Hebrews chapter 2 verse 14 or 15. Do you help me to understand that? I’ll give it my best shot, Jimmy. I’m turning it right now. Here we go to Chapter 2, verse 14, and it says here, For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also likewise took part of the same.

That through death he might destroy him that had the power of death that is the devil. So Christ in order to redeem us became a human being. God came and took on flesh. So we find here that saying he took the same upon himself, flesh and blood. And then he noticed through death his death at the cross of Calvary would then defeat Satan who has the power of death. That is Satan. Satan caused Adam and Eve to sin and brought death upon the whole human race.

And it says here and deliver them who through fear of death were all of their lifetime subject to bondage. So we find here that Jesus did not take on himself the nature of angels but he took on him the seed of Abraham. So Jesus came of the lineage of Abraham and took on Jewish flesh, God who took on Jewish flesh, went to the cross and died to pay for our sins. I hope that helps you there Jimmy. Yes, okay.

Okay. Okay. Good. That’s really awesome. Thank you very much. You’re very welcome. And we’re now going to go to Willie down in Miami, Florida. Will you welcome the Bibleline? You’re on the air. Yes, I was asking the question about the statue of a network of Maryhood. Yes, and he has fallen in the dream. Well, that’s… Well, that’s a, that’s, that I had to play feed and those chess are born. It’s a picture of world history beginning with the Babylonian Empire around 6,000 years around 600 years before Christ.

Babylon was the head, the shoulders and the arms were the Medo-Persian Empire that followed. And then the belly was brass and it was the Grecian Empire that followed. Then we have Rome, the thighs and the legs. And then of course down at the Ten Toes, it extends all the way down to this time where out of what was Rome, ten nations would come together and become the European common market, which is I think the Ten Toes. And of course in the days of those Ten Toes, the Bible says there would be Christ, a stone cut out of the Mount without hands, which turns out to be Jesus, who will come and fall on the feet and destroy those nations and then he will establish a kingdom where the heavens will rule over the earth and that’s the millennium.

So basically when you have come to the point of the image where it’s complete, 2500 years now since Babylon existed 2600 years ago, we find that we’re now at the 10 toes part of the image. And the Bible says that the image was complete with stand up on its base where it began and that is back in Iraq and here we have the United States which is a part of the end times Of this image as it expanded outward from Babylon expanded further out to the Medipersion Empire to further to the West and the Grecian Empire further west to the Roman Empire.

And in the last days, it would extend all the way to the Americas. And obviously it’s putting its feet back in Iraq today. And we’re watching that happen before very eyes. And the Bible says that when that happens Christ will come back and crush the toes and the image will fall apart. the Gentile world powers will be destroyed by Christ and he will establish a kingdom where the Jewish people are the head nation on the earth as Christ comes back to rule and reign forever and ever and ever.

Hope that helps, Willie. Okay, yeah. Thank you. And that was Willie. We’re now going to Gene in Miami and Gene welcome to Bible in your own ear. Hello. Hi, Gene. You’re on the air. Yes, sometimes. I have a question. After the rapture, my life, and then he’s going to open the world for like 1,000 years. After the 1,000 years, what’s going to happen? He’s going to squeeze, take that again. After the thousand years is over, we find that in Revelation 20 in verse 11, God is going to destroy the present earth by fire.

Then He creates a new heavens and a new earth. If you read over there in Revelation chapter 21, it says, In I John saw the new heavens and the new earth for the former heavens were passed away. Then he sees the new Jerusalem coming down from heaven that will, I believe, personally orbit the earth, which will be our home as we will live in this orbiting body, the city of the living God, the new Jerusalem that will orbit the planet earth.

There’s a great future ahead, but before we get there, the Bible says the earth will go through some very dark hours those seven years prior to the Second Coming. So if the rapture were to happen this year, let’s say, there’d be seven years of dark tribulation here on the earth and then Christ would return and bring about a thousand years of peace on earth good will toward men. But at the end of that, he’ll destroy the earth and create a new heavens and new earth and then we’ll live forever with him in the New Jerusalem.

Did that help? Well, thank you, Jane. I don’t know where Jane is, but thank you for that question. We have lots of offer questions. We probably ought to take a couple of them. We have here, Gary in Largo, and he says, please explain Colossians 123 if you continue in the faith. Those phrases where it has condition, if, for example, let’s talk about the Christian life. And if you continue in the faith, then when you stand before the Lord and give an account for how you have lived your life which will have to do with a degree of reward you will receive when you get into heaven or loss of reward that some will experience.

It says if you continue in the faith then you are going to be rewarded and you will stand before the Lord blameless and as the Lord would have you in a condition where he can reward you for your faithful service. Those words continue are used of the Christian life everywhere. If you read Acts chapter 2, the 3000 of God saved us as a continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine. In John 8 when Christ talked about the believers that had gotten saved, he says, if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed.

Here it says, if you continue and that continuing has to do with the Christian life, you’re going to be rewarded. That’s what it’s talking about. Let me say goodbye to you people down in Miami. Thank you for tuning in. I’m glad to have a couple of calls today. we are excited about being on the air down there. We launched that in faith getting ourselves on the air but we really didn’t have any support at that time from Miami and we’re hoping that more of you will join us in supporting this program in Miami and pay for that air time.

We need your help. Give us a call and give a gift by credit card over the phone, would you? And we have to go but God bless, we’ll look for you tomorrow and again all of our areas are listeners supported. We need Bibleline to be supported by our listeners. If you can help us out, that will guarantee you that we stay on the air in your area. So please join those that are giving. And God bless all of you who do give to Bibleline.

We’re going to have a break in a few minutes here, but let me get another question here. Larry in Manson, Michigan says in Genesis 6, it says, the Lord repented that he made man. What is the Hebrew meaning of this word? That means to lament or grieve or to sorrow. And the Lord lamented, he grieved and he saw her over the fact that man had so severely departed from him that he would have to bring this flood and destroy all life on the planet, except for eight people that were saved.

Noah, his wife, his three sons and air wives, eight people were believers in the inner of the ark and the rest drowned in that flood. That’s a true story. and really did happen. It’s happening again today. Jesus said it would begin as it was in the days of Noah. Look at the unbelief. Look at the rejection of the truth today. And we see ourselves headed far from the Bible. And Larry, that’s what’s happening here. Well, we’re going to take a short break.

We’re going to come back and we’re going to do a second half hour Bibleline. I hope you will join us and be listening. the second half hour. By the way, it’s on the internet as well. You can go there to Bible and ministries, click on the spinning globe and catch the program streamed to the internet. But also you can catch these programs later in the evening or any time of day from anywhere in the world on the internet. So make sure you do that.

And also don’t forget our Sunday worship services are also available there on the internet by clicking on the camera on the homepage. Well, I’m going to take a short break. We’ll come right back. We’ll do a second The second half hour Bibleline, I hope you’ll stay tuned right where you are. We’ll be right back in just a moment. Don’t go away. I’ll be right back.

Go away, Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. All right, I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. It was great to be with you. Thanks for tuning in to the broadcast. Great to be with you. And we thank God for all of you who give the Bible and to make that possible because we obviously depend on your life. and depend upon your support to be able to keep my blind on the air. Thanks for tuning in today and I hope you’re enjoying it.

I hope if you’ve been listening you know that there’s only one way to be saved and that’s to trust Jesus Christ alone as your Savior. Your works, my works cannot save us. Nowhere does the Bible ever hint that man has any part in salvation except to receive what God has done for him at the cross. So when you trust Christ according to the Bible you receive everlasting life from that very moment that you trust Christ and possess it from that moment on forever and ever and ever and ever.

That’s got to be great news. I’m so glad I know I have eternal life. I know that I’m going to go to heaven. In these difficult days when we see the world headed toward the things that the Bible spoke about which would happen, wars and rumors of wars and pestilence as earthquakes and judgments of God upon the earth after the rapture during the tribulation. I’m glad I’m leaving. And maybe it’s going to be this year. I don’t know. But it sure could be.

Let me recommend some of the things that we have in our Resource Center that would really help you. We have the new set here I’ve got for you on election and predestination, election and previous nation, five CD series 20, this is a gift of $25 and you’ll have five hours of teaching on election and predestination explaining Calvinism and the acronym to it. available on CD and DVD. We also have 1st Peter that we finished prior to our Israel trip this year and that’s available 10 hours of teaching on CD and DVD and now we’re now teaching 2nd Peter. We’ve already done class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. That’s available on CD and DVD but 2 more Tuesdays and we will complete that series and it will be 10 hours of teaching on 2nd Peter so we’ll have John’s Gospel which we’ve already done 1st Peter are we already done and we’ll now finish up 2nd Peter and 1st and 2nd Peter will be available to you if you call and you can already get 1st Peter you might want to do that.

Many more about 40 different presentations of different teachings on the Bible or books of the Bible and I think you’ll want to get them all. We are now going to go back and return to stations that have been on break into the 2nd half hour Bible end so keep your radio tuned right where it is and enjoy the second half hour today of Bibleoid. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771.

That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright we’re back from that break and this is Bibleoid. Great to be with you and thank you for tuning in today and and we are coming to you live from Tampa, Florida, from our studios right here at the Calvary. Community Church and I want you to know this is our third Sunday coming up this weekend and you’re welcome to come if you’re driving Distance and we will have a dinner That’s right the third Sunday is a great Sunday to come and visit if you’re planning to come from a distance Because you can have lunch with us and that’s gonna be a wonderful time of eating and fellowship I love to be able to sit down with you get to meet you and I hope you’ll come So this Sunday would be a good Sunday to come visit and we do that every third

Sunday of every month so you can’t come this time try this. try the next. But you can always join our worship services online. You know, we webcast our Sunday morning service on the web and that’s at 11 o’clock Sunday mornings. Now, a few go tradem theFigure”:” If you unemploy . If testim olarsmun Here’s where the sermons sitting there waiting for you to look at anytime you do have the opportunity to get there. So give it a try. We’re going to go to Claude in Ontario, Canada and Claude welcome to buy one.

And the program. Claude? Yeah, good day. That’s the link. Good day. I used to keep talking about the rock. I never tell you. Just talk to the rock. I cannot get the rock to the scene because let me see if I can get it straight. Jesus comes. We are rock to the house. We go to heaven and stay within for three and a half years. Seven years. You’ll stay within seven years. You’ll come. You’ll come back at the end of that seven years when he comes back to rural and land on the earth.

So when it comes back after the seven year, we come back within to this earth. That’s correct. It lives for a thousand years. That’s correct. That’s correct. Well, he’s already here, but he will destroy this earth and create a new heavens and new earth and the new Jerusalem, which is the city of the living God, will come down and will enter that city and live in that city forever. How many times did Jesus come from heaven? You say we are caught up in the air, that’s the first time.

The second time he comes back and touches the mountain of all of them, or some place like that. That’s right. And then he’s here on the earth for a thousand years, and he doesn’t leave. So he comesNormally to the earth at the rapture, seven years later he comes back and actually touches on the earth. So that’s officially the second coming. The first coming, his feet were on the earth for 33 years and the second coming, his feet be on the earth for a thousand years and then he destroys this earth and creates a new heavens and new earth but he will live in the New Jerusalem and that’s what we’re going to live with him forever in that New Jerusalem that which I believe will orbit the new earth.

The second question is that you can say that after Jesus Christ they will not be saved. But you say that there will be a place to prepare for them in Petra for the Jews to be saved. But is it all Jews or just the elected ones will be saved in Petra? Well those that go to peter are Jewish and they will flee from Israel and they will flee because they they are believers and they’ll read the instructions. If you read Matthew 24, they’re told when they see the Antichrist, place his image in the temple during the tribulation period in the middle, that’s a time to not even take your suitcase but run for the hills.

They’ll run and they’ll go over into the country of Jordan where they’ll be politically safe from the reaches of the Antichrist and they’ll live in that city of Petra until the Second Coming when Christ was pulled into the pool of the Jewish people back in the land, but they’re believing Jews. The other two thirds of the Jews in Israel will be killed by the Antichrist because they don’t follow the instructions because they’re not believers and they’ll be sitting ducks and he’ll just slaughter them.

So, So, with the rest of the Jews, they’re going to be in a worse state. It says in the Bible, two thirds of the Jews in the state of Israel will be killed and nine tenths of the Jews around the world will be killed. And so it’ll be really tough for those that are around the world. I don’t have a place really to flee or to hide. They’ll have to hide wherever they are. But the Jews in Israel, a third of them will escape, which they will be believers.

They’ll escape into the Rock City of Petra. But the other Jews, nine-tenths of them will be slaughtered. It’ll be the greatest slaughter of Jewish people. Far out three times at least greater than what Hitler did in his slaughter against the Jewish people. Sure. Okay. That is correct. The people will be all over the world and the nations will come up. Zacharath 14 talks about that and they’ll come up every year for the Feast of Tabernacles and worship the Lord who will be tabernacleing in the temple, living in the temple in Jerusalem and they’ll come up to visit every year.

Well, I don’t know, but obviously right now we have airplanes, but the travel may be even far more advanced during that time of peace where people can concentrate on you know taking the implements of war and transferring all of that into the implements for the benefit of life on the planet to be a marvelous time to live. Okay thanks for your answer. All right thank you Claude in Ontario Canada for calling in today we now have of Carl and Tampa, Florida.

Carl, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. Let me ask you, would you hear today where the NIV elevated their 30th anniversary and they were the survey that was done worldwide where they found that I think they were like 65% of pastors and leaders and other others as well, even that are reading the NIV now as their preferred Bible. My question is, you know, what do you think about that? I’ll hang up and hear your answer, but also I wanted to make a point that in first Timothy 3 16, and the King James says, God came, what God was manifest in the flesh.

And if you look at the NIV, also the message Bible, and by the way, also the Jehovah Bible they all say he came in a body which I don’t think it’s saying the same thing because we’re all we are a body and I just wonder why they how they change that and why is it you think that so many people are reading the NIV versus King James and you know if you could come in that okay I sure will thank you Tom you know as a part of the internet the end times.

And the NIV, I think, is one of the terrible translations that’s out there deleting so many things. You know, the Bible warns about in the book of Revelation about not adding or taking away from God’s Word. And look at these people that are so brazen to do that. They’re going to pay a big price for that one day when they stand before the award those that have been responsible. But you’re missing 44 verses in your entirety in the NIV as a part of the apostasy today.

People are wanting something easy to read and they really don’t care whether they get what God originally said or not. Apparently, they don’t believe the Bible is the Word of God in that every word as it was given in the original was given by God exactly as he would have it to be given. And today they don’t seem to take that seriously. And so here we have Bibles that just absolutely change the meaning. And they try to do it that way with the deity of Christ.

That’s under attack. That’s obviously an attack from Satan who hates Christ. And he not only hated Christ when he was here on the earth, but now hates him and his word. And when it says in 1st Timothy 3 16 that he was manifest in the flesh or in the body, meaningless because as you pointed out, you’re in a body, I’m in a body and that doesn’t mean anything at all. But when it says in the King James, God was made known in the flesh.

That’s a lot different. Jesus Christ is God who took on human flesh. He’s the only one who’s ever done that. That’s obviously, he’s God and he’s uniquely the Messiah, the Savior. He is the one that you have to trust in in order to be saved and you have to ask yourself today is the Jesus that is being presented to you by your church, the Jesus of the Bible. Because the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 11 that false teachers would come along and present to you another Jesus and Paul says you might well accept that and obviously the cult is older, the witnesses present Jesus, it’s not the Jesus of the Bible, the Mormons present Jesus who is not the Jesus of the Bible.

The Christian scientists present another Jesus who is not the Jesus of the Bible. And if you accept one of these false cries, you are not going to be saved. You have to accept the true Jesus which is God manifested in the flesh who went on the cross and died to pay for our sins. This is part of the last days and I think we’re right there. I think the fact that we see the world really focusing on the Middle East and there’s rumors and war of war right now in the Middle East big time.

The country’s serious mover troops down low on the go on heights. We find that Iran is preparing for some type of retaliation against Israel as they are hit by the United States. The United States underneath all the current is talking about attacking Israel in the next two months. So they’re talking about war in the Middle East right now and it could be that any week now war will break out there. So we’re watching these things that take places the Bible is spoken about.

We’re going to go to Tony in Richmond, Virginia. Tony, welcome to Bibleline your own here. Come on, Dr. Lynch. 44 verses at the NIV. Delete. Is there any way to get a hold of exactly which 40 are really intense? We have a quiz here. Just call and we’ll mail it to you for your charge. A quiz on the NIV Bible. And if you take the NIV Bible to answer the questions, you’ll get a zero, because all the questions on this quiz are questions about the 44 verses that are not there.

So it’s a real wake up when people take their NIV and they take the quiz and they get a zero. They usually decide to get rid of their NIV. It’s just embarrassing to them. They can’t find one answer, because the verses that they’re looking for the answers in aren’t there. They’re not there. If anybody wants a copy that just call us and we’ll send that out to you for your charge, the NIV quiz. I’ll call back. Thanks Dr. Miller.

All right. Thank you, Tony, in Richmond, Virginia. We’re going to take a few questions here. Let me just remind you tonight at 6.30. We have our television program on World Harvest Television on Direct TV Channel 367 at 6.30 Eastern Standard Time. That’s every Thursday evening. And we have people all over the United States that watch that program. That’s the Direct TV, channel 367, World Harvest Television, 630 tonight nationwide. If you haven’t seen that program, catch us tonight at 630, pass that word along to your friends.

We have here, we are studying a book on heaven by Randy Alcom. It tells how there is an intermediate heaven that we go to if we die before Jesus comes back and that heaven will be here on the earth. It’s the New Earth. Can you comment? That’s totally wrong. You need to throw that book out, Denise. I’m sorry. But there is no intermediate heaven. Write down this. Second Corinthians 5a. It says, absent from the body, present with the Lord.

It doesn’t say, absent from the body, present in an intermediate heaven. not true and The new earth is not heaven and heaven is really where the Lord is and that’s in the North in our universe where the New Jerusalem right now resides, but the New Jerusalem will come down and Orbit the new earth and we’re gonna live not on the new earth, but we’re gonna live in the New Jerusalem So this guy doesn’t mean his Bible very carefully and obviously he’s making up things that are not in the Bible Denise, I think it’s a mistake to get into that book.

I would stay with your Bible. You’re going to be a lot better off. We’re going to go to Stuart in Richmond, Virginia. Stuart, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Thanks, Dr. Hank. I appreciate that. And I just want to say I appreciate your radio show. And I have a quick question about what the Bible says about the universe. I recently heard on the science channel about something called dark energy, as well as dark matter. And apparently scientists have decided that they don’t know why the Milky Way and other galaxies are held together.

They know that the mass inside those galaxies is not enough to generate the gravity to hold them together. And so they came up with this new theory called dark energy or dark matter, which they said that there’s about 70% dark matter and 70% of dark energy holding it all together. And I was wondering, it reminds me, I think it’s God holding these things together. And I was wondering if you could give me some scriptures to help me understand that better.

Well, I think you have… Well, I think you’re absolutely right. And I like the verse in Colossians where it says that Christ is the one who… . . . . . . He says, by him we’re all things created that are in heaven. This is Colossians 1 16. By him we’re all things created that are in heaven, that are in the earth, visible and invisible. Whether there be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, it says all things were created by him and for him.

Here’s the Bible. It says all things were created by Him and for Him. Here’s the verse I’d like to point out. Verse 17 of questions 1 says, and Christ is before all things and by Him all things consist or that word means held together. So the universe is held together by Christ. If God took His hand off this universe it would just implode or explode and it would be all over. But Christ is the one who holds the universe together.

Hopefully that’s a good verse for you. Closet is great. Yeah, Closet is 117. Great, thank you so much. And they give it a name, Dark Energy, Dark Matter. Have you heard of these terms before? Yes, I have. Okay. Thanks a lot Stuart in Richmond, Virginia. Cindy in Tampa, Florida calls in with this author question. She says, where in the Bible is it that a demon cannot enter a person that has the Holy Spirit? I like 1 John 4 4 where it says greater is he That is in you.

That’s God the Holy Spirit then he that is Satan who is in the world It says earlier in this same chapter 1 John chapter 4 that we have overcome the demons through Christ who died for us And so therefore we are dwelt by the Holy Spirit and he’s greater than Satan and his demons that are in the world There’s no demon and certainly Satan wouldn’t want to dwell in the same body that God the Holy Spirit dwells in. So they obviously are not going to try to indwell a believer.

So if you’re a believer, you’re safe. In fact, it says in Ephesians 1, 13 and 14, you’re sealed by the Holy Spirit, which I believe means that not only has God indwelled you, but he seals you as his possession and that speaks of protection and security that you’re safe from demons or from Satan once you trust Christ as your Savior. We’re going to Orlando, Florida. Hello, Pastor. I have a question regarding Acts 1730, and this is when Paul was speaking to the Greeks about worshiping the idol, the unknown idol, and it says there at the time of its ignorance, like in times past, it got winked at it.

So Mike, So my question is, God gave them a pass. No, I don’t think that means it at all, but what he did is he allowed people to believe but they really didn’t become saved in the sense that they possessed eternal life when they died until after Christ had died on the cross of Calvary. In other words, the sins of the Old Testament were the word is used in the Hebrew atonement in English and that means a covering. He kind of swept him under the cover or kind of covered him over.

If you have guests coming over, sometimes you might throw things in the closet, just or thunder, and then you’re going to get a new commando or shutter, throw them in the garage and get them out of sight. But you don’t want your guest to see your dirty laundry. So you hide it. Well, in a sense, God covered it. And that’s called an atonement. But that’s an Old Testament word. We really shouldn’t use the word atonement in the New Testament, So the Old Testament saint had what I call a layaway salvation.

It was laid away for him, but he couldn’t really enjoy it fully and tell it was paid for, just like if you lay away something in the store, you can’t take it home to you fully pay for it. Well they waited in a place called Paradise in the heart of the earth and got overlooked their sin until Christ could take care of it and he paid for it at the cross and once they did, then they were released at a paradise and taken up to heaven.

So Paradise is no longer in the heart of the earth. You remember Christ said in Matthew 1240 that he be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. He also told the dying thief on the cross, today thou shalt be with me in paradise. So Paradise was in the heart of the earth in a place called Heenies in the Greek or Sheel in the Hebrew, S-H-E-O-L. Christ emptied that place out and now paradise is in heaven itself according to 2 Corinthians 12.

1 through 3. And so now if you’re a believer you die, you’re absent in the Body President Award. So he basically overlooked them or he covered them or he hid them until they could be taken care of. Just like you might put things in a closet and then later straighten it up and get your house in order. You temporarily hide them. That’s what God did with our sins. So it doesn’t mean he just kind of said, OK, believe anything you want.

They still had to believe on Christ. to be saved or they wouldn’t be saved at all. Okay, well the only reason, the only other thing though adding to your comment is I understand that about the Jews, but it seems like he’s speaking to people who aren’t Jews. He’s speaking to these Greeks on Mars Hill. So does that really apply? I mean it sounds like if he’s talking to them about their ignorance, you know, does that really, is that really about the Jews in there?

It is any of you? And if you read Romans, you see that. In Romans chapter 1, you have God’s indictment of the heathen. They have no excuse. In you read Romans chapter 2, you have the indictment of just the Gentiles who are religious and they’re condemned. And then you have in the latter part of chapter 2 the Jews that were indicted, they had a knowledge that they were lost. And it says in chapter 3, the summary is that all of sin, all of them short of the glory of God, and that everyone will one day stand before God and their mouths will be shut, they will not have a defense, they will not be able to excuse the fact that they are lost because God has sought them and if they become responsible and seek Him they will find Him and they will become saved.

So nobody will have an excuse no matter whether ignorant as heathen oftentimes are because God in Romans 119 has planted a knowledge of the fact that He exists in them and therefore it says Romans 120, they were without excuse. And God wants them to come to know the truth and He is seeking those that are lost. Luke 19, 10, Christ says He came to seek you to save up which is lost. And so He’s pursuing us and if we respond and seek Him in return, we’ll find Him.

And so that’s what’s written what’s going on. and the Gentiles and the Jews have no real advantage. We’re all lost and all headed for hell and all are pursued by God. And you see it throughout the Old Testament, Jews and Gentiles alike got saved just as Jews and Gentiles alike get saved today. Okay. Well, thank you, Pastor, for your answer. All right. Thank you. And we’ll have to deal with that more because it’s a lot of wonderful verses that point that out throughout Scripture.

salvation has always been available for all people and it says in Jeremiah 2913, you shall seek me and find me when you shall search me with all your heart. All right, we have here Amy in Tampa, Florida calls in and she says, where do the, what do the seven-dad Venice believe? The seven-dad Venice believe that if you worship on Sunday, have the mark of the beast. They believe if you worship on Saturday you have the mark of the living God.

Basically you have to keep the Sabbath and you have to keep the commandments, you have to keep the law to be saved. And they don’t believe in a hell. They reject the doctrine of hell. They believe in soul sleep. They have lots of crazy doctrines. They’ll never get rid of them because what they believe is what LNG White taught. As The 7th Adventist read the Bible through the lenses of LNG white. They’re never going to get straight until they get rid of LNG white books, which I would recommend if you’re 7th Adventist.

Just treasure books. Stay with your Bible. You’re going to come out fine. But the 7th Adventists are not saved because they’re working their way to heaven. They’ll trick you and they’ll say in one breath, you’re saved by grace. And then in the next breath, they’ll say that Christ began this investigative judgment. back in the 1800s where he’s examining your works right now to determine whether you’re worthy of grace or not. So it’s a crazy backdoor approach to say that grace is earned, which is nonsense, and that you earn grace to be saved by grace.

So it’s a convoluted way of twisting things around and they’re waiting to pray for the Seventh Adventist. They demand that you worship on Saturday to be saved. We’re out of time, we have to go, but don’t forget our TV program is at tonight at 630 on channel 367 on World Harvest Television, Direct TV. And also don’t forget that we’ll be back tomorrow.
