There’s a vertical banner that you click on and you’ll be able to order the CDs that have wonderful children’s music. But you can choose the name of your child, grandchild, nephew or niece, put it in their sampler and then order it. And I’m hearing every day from people that say, whoa, this is just so powerful in reaching boys and girls for Christ. Give that a try. Also, we’re coming up on our summer camp, June 23rd to 28th, and it’ll be in the heart of Florida down in Avon Park.

If you would like to send your child, there’s still a couple openings left. You can call it and choir. Just call in and ask for the information about the summer teen camp for the week of June 23 through 28. Also we have some wonderful books in our resource center including the wonderful book called The Exodus Case. Very thick and beautifully put together with lots of beautiful photographs including pictures of the cherry wheels of the Verro’s army on the bottom of the Red Sea.

That’s a fascinating book and has got photographs of a rock that really meets the biblical description of the rock that maybe Moses struck to have the water come out. The Bible says that rock had a cleft in it and there’s this rock that has this incredible cleft and you can see evidence where water once flowed from this rock and could it be? I don’t know but this book presents case for the Exodus back there in the book of Genesis you might want to get a book like that.

We also have the Scofield Bibles, we have Concordance’s Bible Dictionary’s commentaries. The book of angealism is one of the best books we have. Handbook the personal evangelism tells you how to lead someone to Christ. Gives you examples of what to say and what not to say and actually just guides you telling you when to open mouth, what to say when mouth is open and when is the appropriate time to close your mouth. You might want to get that book.

Visit E.D. We have a class I taught 10 hours of teaching on how to lead a soul to Christ. Very, very powerful. We had people telling us that they had taken other courses on evangelism, but by the third week of my class they already learned how to lead souls to Christ and we’re doing it successfully. That is obviously good news. Well, we’re going to get into the Bible for a few minutes and then we’ll be taking our callers. People are already calling in and you’re welcome to call in here to Bibleline as well.

Again, Bibleline is listeners supported and if you could help us at this time it would be greatly appreciated as we are into the summer months and we could use your help here for June and you could give a gift today by calling and giving a gift by credit card over the phone or asking for an envelope to be sent with our address on it and we’ll mail that out to you and you can mail your gift back in to Bible it.

Well if you have your Bible open turn if you hold a second Corinthians chapter 11 verse 3. 2 Corinthians 11 verse 3. And it says here, but I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety. This is talking about what happened back there in the garden, and the serpent is Satan, and he beguiled Eve that was Mrs. Adam through his subtlety. And it goes on to say here, so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

One of the things that is interesting is that one of the major objections to the true gospel message that I hear over and over and over again is people will say, that’s too simple. I’ll never forget as a brand new believer witnessing to people and they would say that and it bothered me and it offended me and I became defensive. But you know now when I hear it, it’s good music to my ears because that tells me they’re hearing their understanding the true message because it is simple.

And the Bible tells us here that Satan would actually use the fact that it is simple to actually cause it to be a stumbling block for people so that they wouldn’t believe on Christ as Savior. Let me read this verse again and it says here, but I fear, lest by any means as the serpent Satan beguiled Eve through his subtlety so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. In other words, Satan would use the fact that the message is simple in order to cause the person not to believe.

Isn’t that something? Boy, the devil is clever. He is subtle, isn’t he? And that’s exactly what we find here. He is so subtle and he will use the fact that it’s simple. So when somebody says to me, when I present the gospel to them, boy that’s too simple. You know what I like to do? I like to reach out my hand and say congratulations! And they say for what? For understanding the true gospel. The fact that you said it’s too simple tells me that you’ve understood it because you’re objecting on that basis that it’s simple and the Bible says it is simple.

You know, as an engineer, I graduated in electrical engineering, all the basic formulas are so simple. You know, the greatest most profound one is that by Einstein E is equal to Mc squared. How can you reduce it down to any more simple form than that? Energy is equal to mass times the coefficient of light squared. And that little simple formula says it all. That the universe is created out of energy and that matter can be created out of energy and energy can be converted to matter.

It’s amazing that the formula turns out to be very simple and I found in science that easily works out that way. Well the gospel is simple and when I heard how simple it was to me I said that makes sense. It must be the truth because it rings clear. It is simple. It’s plain. It’s understandable and that’s what the gospel is. Basically that we’re all sinners. We’re all deserving of hell. The payment for sin would be death or separation from God and hell.

That there’s no way we could save ourselves. That our works will not pay for sin. That we needed to save Jesus Christ is that Savior. He came and died in our place and paid our sin debt in full so that when we trust Him, we receive the very righteousness of God imputed to our account. Isn’t that great? Well that is the best news that anyone is ever going to hear in their entire life. And I hope that you understand that it is simple.

It says right here, I fear this is 2 Corinthians 11-3. less by any means as the serpent yelled Eve through his subtlety so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. It is a simple, simple message. You know, there’s a second objection to the true message of the gospel, and then as people say, well, I can’t buy that because that would mean you could live as you please. Well, guess what? It’s true that no matter what you do, once you trust Christ’s Savior, that you are still good of heaven, but you really can’t live as you please.

Because once you trust Christ, God becomes your Father and you become his son or daughter and he’s going to discipline you. That’s what it says, and write this one down. Hebrews 12 verse 6 says, For whom the Lord loveth, he chases enough. That means disciplines and scourges every son whom he receives. In other words, everybody that is received into God’s family by the new birth, by trusting Christ as Savior, can no longer live as they please, because they have a heavenly Father who knows everything that they do.

He’s going to discipline you if you get out of line. So you cannot live as you please. Look at verse 8 of Hebrews chapter 12. If you be without discipline or chastisement, where of all that is every believer, everyone who is brought into the family of God by the New Christian when you’re not. If you can get away with living as you please and God doesn’t interfere in your life, guess what? You’re not saved. Let me read that verse again.

Yeah, you might want to write it down. Hebrews 12, 8, it says, if you be without chastisement, if you be without chastisement or discipline, where of all of God’s children are partakers, then you are a bastard and you’re not a son. You are illegitimately parading as a Christian when you’re not and God is not going to fool around with you. You know, if you’re not saved, God does not interfere in your life as to how you live it. Why?

Because you’re not his kid. You know, when I was raised at home as a little boy and I got in trouble, I usually didn’t get in trouble alone. I usually got in trouble with others and my dad would discipline me and I would say, Dad, this is not fair. Look, there was three or four other guys here involved in this thing. me bring them over and you can discipline them too. He said no. He said I’m only going to take care of you.

You’re my kid and their parents will have to take care of them but he did not discipline the neighborhood kids. My dad only took care of disciplining me. Guess what? God doesn’t discipline the lost. Only those that are his kids get disciplined and so if you are born again, if you’re saved, God then becomes your father and he’s not going to let you live as you please. Those who try to teach that certainly haven’t read their Bible and those who are not saved will maybe go along and try to claim that they’re a Christian when indeed they’re not and it’s exposed by the fact that God doesn’t interfere in their life.

You know I had a young lady I was preaching out in Colorado at a youth camp up in the mountains outside of Denver and a young lady came to me and she said you know since I’ve trusted Christ, she was only a believer for six months. She said everything in my life is going wrong. And I said tell me about it, what do you mean? Well she said you know first of all I got caught for doing drugs and I said well it seems like God wanted you to stop and that’s why.

She said also my mom decided to move to another city and now I’m no longer with my friends anymore. I said that sounds like God is removing you from your bad environment and your friends that were causing you to do the wrong kind of things. And she went on and listed a number of things. And I said, you know, God is really working in your life because you’re a believer now and He doesn’t want you to continue in those things you were doing prior to your salvation.

And I hear that from adults as well. Brand new believers especially say, whoa, what’s going on here? Everything was going smooth until I trusted Christ. And you see God’s disciplining hand becomes involved in their life. Look if you will in verse 11 here, it says in Hebrews 12, no discipline for the present seeneth to be joyous but grievous. I don’t ever remember being disciplined by my dad and saying, boy, this is wonderful. This is exciting. This is great. I want to celebrate.

Let me have friends come over and watch my dad discipline me. was not that kind of an experience at all. It was a grievous experience. I didn’t want to let other people in on that. We didn’t party afterward. I didn’t say, let’s do this once a week, Dad. I like it. No, not at all. It says, no discipline for the present seems to be joyous but grievous and I catch this. Hebrews 1211. Nevertheless, afterward, afterward, afterward, it yielded the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them that are exercised For those that say the fact that you are saved forever once you trust Christ that works or not involved at all, you cannot be lost, Christ will never cast you out, he will never lose you.

The fact that they would say that you can live as you please is not true. This verse says that God when he disciplines those who are believers, it yields the peaceable fruit of righteous living under those which are exercised there by. When God has to exercise his discipline in your life, it will cause you to live right just like God can get your attention. And you know, if you’ve ever seen a child that’s been disobedient and you discipline them, what happens?

They usually become very peaceable and very obedient. Yes sir, right now okay, I’ll behave alright. And they become peaceable and very submissive and they usually become obedient upon being discipline. The same thing is true. He is a believer. If you have trusted Christ, you cannot live as you please. Yes, no matter what you do, you will still go to heaven. But you might go to heaven sitting in your plan on it. You might suffer the loss of reward for eternity because you haven’t done anything for God.

But also God will discipline you and he will get your attention. And so there are two objections to the true gospel. One is it’s too simple. And the Bible says it is simple 2 Corinthians 11-3. And also others say, well that would mean you could go out and live with God. Give it to you, please!” And yes, that’s true, you could, but guess what? God will spank you for it, and you’ll not get away with it. Hebrews 12, 6 says, for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines and scourges every son whom he receives, and verse 8 of Hebrews 12 says, if you be without discipline, where of all of his children are partakers, you’re a bastard.

And you’re not a son, you’re not a child, you’re God’s family, because God deals with with every one of his children, and you’re not going to be able to live as you please. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom, this is Bibleline, and we’re going to go to the phone lines. We have callers from all over the place. We have Jay in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Jay, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, that’sSenate. Absolutely. That’s what I wanted to know.

What scripture is it that you shouldn’t call man Reverend Master? Matthew 23 verse 9 says you’re not to call any man your master or father even you know. I know in the Catholic Church and in some other, the Episcopal, I think they call the priest father, but the Bible says that is anonah, we’re not to do that. Is there a reason called you know that today? Well, unfortunately they are wrong in doing so and I really bristle when people call me that.

Sometimes I go to someplace and they’ll introduce me and they just don’t know any better and they’ll say that and I have to live with it. up. If you read over in Matthew chapter 23 it says here in verse 9, called No Man Your Father Upon The Earth For One Is Your Father Which Is In Heaven. So as far as spiritual things there’s really only one and that’s God in heaven and we’re not to call anybody else’s father. Of course our earthly father, our natural parent, but otherwise we’re not to call a religious leader father.

It’s quite clear because there’s only one and that’s God the Father in Heaven. Okay. Okay. Thank you so much. You’re welcome, Jay. Thank you for calling inWednesday and also only God is holy and is worthy of being reverence. So we should not call a minister reverend because only God is to be reverence according to the scripture. We’re going to Tony. He’s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania And Tony welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes sir. I wanted to ask you about a two-point question about Matthew 6 the Lord’s Prayer.

Yes. And I wanted to ask you about Well, first 14 and 15 and I was a, some of this consensus they were telling me this prayer is not for us. This is the prayer like it’s in the end times. Is that right? Well, that is right because it’s a prayer for the kingdom and and the kingdom is offered to Israel a thousand-year millennial kingdom where the earth will be at peace and at rest and obviously that was a prayer for that time because Christ was here on the earth He is the king and Israel rejected him as king and therefore the kingdom has been postponed.

But if you notice the words there in Matthew chapter 6, it says, Our Father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come. So it’s a prayer for this kingdom to come and it goes on to say about that kingdom that thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. During the Millennium Christ will be here and also we as believers will come back in our glorified bodies and help Christ rule and reign. And so the heavens will rule over the earth during this wonderful Kingdom.

Daniel spoke about a time when the heavens would rule over the earth and that’s the millennial kingdom when Christ comes back. Right now we’re not waiting for the kingdom, we’re not praying for the kingdom. We are looking forward to the rapture when Christ will snatch us down and take us up to be with the Lord. in this age, Tony, from Pentecost Telerapture is a member of the body of Christ, which is called the Church. And the Church is a unique body.

It’s the bride of Christ, and when Christ comes back at the Rapture, He catches His bride up to meet Him, and then we will become married in heaven to Christ. In an eternal relationship, and then come back with Christ during the Millennium. But the Millennium is an earthly rule of Christ over the Jewish people in over all the nations as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This prayer, really technically, is not for now. But there are wonderful lessons there in prayer.

Certainly we pray to the Father. We obviously need to include recognizing who He is and then appealing to Him on that basis and And then praying about things that affect our daily lives. And then of course, obviously concluding, recognizing his power and the ability to answer those prayers. Okay, none of us are okay like on forgiveness. That’s correct. But the whole world, they they’ve not forgiven instead of. Well, they received that forgiveness upon trusting Christ as your as their Savior exactly.

Peter makes that very clear. Acts 10, 43. He says to Christ give all the prophets witness that through his name, whosoever believeeth in him shall receive the remission of their sins. So their sins are remitted upon believing or trusting that Christ died for them. Okay. What about to reference, I think it’s 5.21. He knew no sympathy. At one time, it’s not the First he said he had reconciled a whole world not counting they send against him Yeah. That’s verse 19 of chapter 5.

Second Corinthians 5, 19 that Christ paid for every sin that you would ever commit. So there’s only one sin that can send you to hell, one unpardonable sin, and that’s rejection of Christ as Savior. So God is really not condemning you to hell because you lied or you stole or because you cheated or something else. He will send you to hell because you reject Christ who is the provision for your sin. That’s the unpardonable sin. But if you reject Christ, you’ll wind up being accountable for all the sins you’ve ever committed.

But Christ is not charging them against you. He’s paid for them, but the unpardonable sin is not a rejection of him. So all the wives of violence would leave somebody to Christ. I wouldn’t tell them. Well, because that’s not the way you become saved. You tell them to trust Christ as the one who made the payment for their sins. Because you’re not saved by asking anything. Both thieves ask to be saved, but only the one that believed was saved.

You have to believe or trust that Jesus died for you in order to be forgiven or to be saved. To ask for heaven or to ask not to go to hell or to ask for the forgiveness of sins doesn’t bring it about. The key is that trust on the Lord Jesus Christ and those will be saved. Whosoever believeth or trust upon Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. So the key is that you have to trust that He died for you.

And bear that to Jesus. But it’s correct. We ought to in order to live in fellowship, but it has nothing to do with our salvation. But you know, it’s like when you’re born into your parents’ family, you’re their child whether you behave or don’t behave. But if you want to get along with mom and dad, you really ought to fess up when you do things wrong. And even my little granddaughter yesterday said, I was bad. A 30-month-old. She recognizes.

She does say he’s wrong and she said I was bad pop-up. So we need to do that. Everything got cleared up. She felt better. I felt better. And we hugged and kissed and everything was kind of mended. But she’s still my granddaughter, whether she behaves or doesn’t behave. But in order to get along and to be in fellowship, obviously we need to get those things right. Okay, somewhere you have a couple I think it was about a week or two you were talking about Delore what he had do like an unbeliever.

I think you said it was in Joe Somewhere in Joe you said he would keep down believing The Jimmy cast to be safe. Yes In Job 33, if a person is seeking the Lord, God promises to keep them alive through battle or disease or whatever until a messenger can get to them and bring the gospel to them. You said Job 33, what? What else? The whole chapter is pretty much about that, but by halfway through the chapter, Job 33.

Joe 33, that’s the chapter that talks about it. You’ll find it. It’s clear when you read it. Okay, and another thing you have said about suicide. And after you said a fall was saved, right? That’s correct. And that’s it. And Samson was. Remember Samson brought down the house. You know, he pushed the pillars and he actually died as a result. He committed suicide. And he was saved. Obviously, the person who died. They’re both both of these guys are in the I agree.

I will agree with everything you say. Thank you You’re very welcome and thank you for calling in and Well the time guy goes by so quickly here. We’re gonna have to hold all these other calls We got a ton of them until after the break. I’m dr. Engman’s room. We have Nancy in St. Petersburg and Nancy, welcome to Bibleline your On The Air.

Hello. Hi there. Hi. My question is, who would have been the first person or persons of authority to direct us to follow the Bible? Well I guess you have to say God because He has given His Word from the very beginning and He’s spoken to us through all of His prophets. And so he’s the one that has revealed his word and has been received from the very beginning. You know, apparently Adam and Eve learned of salvation directly from the Lord.

If you read Genesis 3.15, they’re the Lord’s spoke. And he talked about how the seed of the woman would be the ultimate redeemer. And you know, even Eve, chapter 4 verse 1, thought that her firstborn child was the Messiah. And of course, she was wrong. That was Cain. the stake there. But throughout it says that they heard his word and then as the prophets wrote it down they read his word and so it’s been something from the get-go. No doubt about it.

It was never sometime it came along and later that happened. Right from the very first people Adam and Eve heard the word of the Lord. The Lord walked with them in the cool garden, talked with them and even came and able when they offered their sacrifice. They knew what they should have brought. Kane didn intimidThumbnailImageyondescription territTextColor What they knew where to bring it. They brought it to the Lord. There must have been an appointed place. They knew quite a bit.

It says in chapter 4 Genesis that they called upon the name of the Lord for their salvation. They clearly knew the gospel, they clearly knew many things. that continued right on down to today. Who handed it down? Like who would have been the promoter of the Bible? Well Moses wrote, for example, as a prophet of God, the first five books of the Bible. God instructed him to build a piece of furniture called the Arch of the Covenant, which was to contain those scrolls.

And each successive prophet, as he wrote, those books’ writings to the to the to the to the to the to the The Lord said, write the words that are spoken into the book. And God of course sold us that those words were written for not only Jeremiah’s time, but even us in our time. which are described as the latter days when the Jewish people after being dispersed worldwide would return back to their land. So God himself has done that through his prophets and through his apostles.

Who would have been the first, who were the people that, what was it, was it the church? No, it was the Jewish people. The Jewish people were the ones that were given the responsibility of bringing the Word of God to the world, and they were committed with the oracles of God. If you read the book of Romans, the first couple chapters, talk about the Jews had an advantage over others in the sense that it was through them and to them that God spoke His Word and sent it out to the world through the Jewish nation.

If you look at Isaiah 43-10, Israel was spoken of as being God’s witnesses. They were to disseminate the Word of God throughout the world. And then when Israel rejected their Messiah, God has now turned to his Gentiles to do that job. And he’s about ready to snatch us out of the Rapture and then go back to the Jewish people being his witnesses again. If you read Revelation 7 after the Rapture, there’s going to be 144,000 Jewish men who will do the evangelism during the tribulation period after the rapture.

And if you read carefully, chapter 7 and chapter 14, they’re all men, they’re all Jewish, and they’re all virgin men. So they are all those three qualifications, this qualified most everybody else. They are Jewish, and they are men and they’re virgin men. We’re now going to go to, let’s see here, Linda in Spring Hill, Florida and Linda welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi Dr. Pink. Just briefly I ordered one of those CDs for my grandson and its fabulous.

Wonderful. He’s old and his eyes got big. He thought wow and he felt special. I’m glad for that report because people I think could be encouraged to get one for their grandchild or child by hearing that because it does really work. I just enjoy watching my granddaughter when I put that CD on. She’s just like a ray gun hit her. She just immobilized it just to her Google I and everything else. Well, L.A. that he’s an in-family adoption. He is my grandson.

But, you know, they have issues. And for him to feel special, it made him feel special. And he just marvels at that. He came fast. fast and it was fun trying it out because you can pop in your child’s name and then he can listen to song and pick the CD choice you want. Different messages. I think we got God is mighty or something. My question was that about the Lord, actually not, but I always thought when I’m praying it, I know I’m a believer saved already, but I’m praying for the Lord, the church, the fulfillment of his will that he’s going to bring Israel in and then he’s going to establish his kingdom.

And I’m praying, you know, for it to happen now, Lord. I think that’s fine. We just have to recognize if you read that chapter, God did not want us to pray repetitious prayers. So some people pray that just as a repetitious prayer and they don’t ever learn to pray to God in conversation, which prayers really a conversation between you and God and you don’t have to have some memorized prayer. Those who use the rosary, they say the same thing over and over and over and over and over again.

That’s what Jesus warned against in that chapter against Repetition’s prayers. But I think God understands and I’ll be it’s a wonderful model prayer and there’s much )|. DEBUG)]. Roose is there glim. teaching about prayer because he was really teaching the disciples how to pray and it was a model prayer to learn from and to build off of but I don’t think everyone tended to be recited as people do it. I believe that it’s got a chance of these, uh, you’re not gonna be in trouble for doing that.

I came from Catholic back down, so I know exactly what you mean. Some people probably do abuse it. It was probably to show us the key point, you know, like bullet points. Sure. I’ve heard of the opportunity of the awesomeness, reverend, mble and kind of a teaching lesson. You’re very much correct. Well God bless you, Linda, and thank you for calling in today. Thank you. Goodbye. I have great day. Alright, bye bye. That was Lyndon Spring Hill Florida. We have Ken in St.

Petersburg and Ken Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Hey, Dr. Hank good morning. Good morning. I gladly took a break if I’m it’s 10 30. I could make some more coffee have one more Hank You know those big empty three downloads are great. I’ve went on a long trip downloaded about five hours I’ve been down the airplane and kept going in that one. Yeah, it is I want to have a two-part question, or your opinion, the springboard office.

The gentleman that asked a minute ago about, probably give a reason about not calling him, there will be many, the word reverence, the word reverence kind of being in that kind of a fading of man that we tend to have a tendency to just follow and not really get caught up in the emotions of he’s just so super great. He’s aointed because Christ means amointed. Basically, I think there’s a verse in the Psalms and I haven’t had a chance to look it up today, but basically the only God is to be reverent.

So to reverent anyone else is really wrong. I mean only God is holy and yet some call their leader his holiness and that’s incorrect. That’s really wrong because he’s not holy except God is only and any man is a sinner. Then when Peter came to the house of Cornelius, they fell to their knees to worship Peter. And Peter says, and let me read the exact verse, because wow, if only this was practiced today, Peter said here as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him.

And Peter took him up saying, stand up, I myself also am a man. When you read that throughout the Gospels where the apostles refused worship and men ought to refuse worship and honor that only belongs to God. We are simply members, sinners saved by grace and we need to be careful that we don’t ever step those down. Yeah and when the people in the congregation like that because I’ve had so many people say to me, oh this man is so anointed and when you say what you just said, no you just Senator say by grace if he’s very lucky.

How can you say that? I said because the text says that, you know, and you get people get caught up in whatever they’re saying, I’m a little bit surprised by the way that I was not going to do this. I was not going to do this. I was a little bit surprised by the way that I was not going to do this. I would love to see you guys on the line. a member stays under the protection and advice of a father or pastor or teachers who’s, you know, so that they don’t get taken.

I see it in the real world of them protecting their family, God protect, think about it. in marketing, most salesmen come to the door when the husband’s going to work because it’s easier to sell a $2000 vacuum cleaner to a man. and they don’t think about it in the real world that way. But as far as he didn’tStreamerBot the person’s position on that, onRogue.com Well, I think it’s a principle in the Bible that definitely there’s a chain of command and there’s the children under the protection of the parents while they’re living at home and absolutely.

And even after that before they get established they need to rely upon the wisdom of their parents to guide them in making decisions. Here at the church we had 12 little ducklings hatch out yesterday and while the mother provides incredible protection for those little baby ducks, we got 12 of them. And they will just follow her and when she stops they get under her wings and she puts those wings down to the ground like garage doors and they’re sealed in and protected under the protection of her wings.

The Bible talks about us being safe under the wings of God, an expression that’s just similar to that. We’re under His protection. And when we walk away from God’s word and we walk away from the principles of the Bible, we expose ourselves to danger. And definitely believe that as a principle of the Bible. Yeah, I found it interesting because he had made a little joke to another kid going off the Bible college who picked a college or whatever. So you go into Dallas and theological and whatever.

And then you came up with that position. And I have commentary from Dallas. And I just, you know, I ought to go back and highlight that principle there, because they make the same point underneath, you know, that umbrella protection of why the woman or the children should be in this position. Well, since you’re making a joke about Dallas and you like Dallas, you ought to read with the Dallas staff at this stage. Well, I think you think you’re crazy.

There you go. Thank you, Ken. You have a God bless bag. All right. That was Ken. And for sure we as parents or grandparents try to protect our children and our grandchildren and that’s biblical. We’re now going to go to Sarah in St. Petersburg. Sarah, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Oh, hello. I have a question. My husband is just overworked. I mean, he’s got so much work problems and stuff like that work. He can’t quite retire, and he’s just overwhelmed, and he seems to be losing his faith.

And I don’t know really what to do as far as physical. I mean, I pray for him. He just seems like he goes to work and then he comes home and then he passes out. And then, you know, and then he just lets all the problems around him at work and in the world surround him and his spirituality seems to be like fading away. Well, he needs to have his spiritual strength renewed. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5, 7, cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you.

It says, Philippians 4, that if you let all your problems be known to the Lord, he will give you a peace that will pass all understanding. He has got to get back into the Word somehow, whether he just listens to it, read to him. What I like about my own website is you can go to the Scriptures there and we have five different readers you can choose from and you can just let the Bible be read to you. And even if you are too tired to hold the Bible up, you can just hear the Word and take it in.

It’s very powerful. The Word of God is living and powerful. It can regenerate you. And I think that’s what the 23rd Psalm was talking about too, where the Lord will feed your soul and he’ll take you out the pasture and set you beside the still waters. He’s there through the difficulties of the day as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death. And just to memorize like the 23rd Psalm and to just count on that and then Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Don’t lean under your own understanding. And all your ways acknowledge Him and He’s going to direct your path and He’s going to take care of you. So those scriptures are powerful to renew your spirit and to give you direction. would recommend whatever you can do is maybe, and you know, you can get the Bible now on CD and just play it. Well, my problem is I’ve been trying to reach him and I just can’t seem to get through it because we used to go, he’s so tired now because they haven’t been working like 60 hours or something.

He doesn’t go to church, he doesn’t seem to react to any type of things. We used to go to Bible study, he used to go to church, he used to go to… And I just can’t seem to get through to him. If I could get him to sit and pray with me, or if he feels uncomfortable praying with me, if he could just maybe listen to something that would inspire him, but I’m just having a really, really rough time.

I guess the only thing I can actually do is I don’t know. Somehow he can get his attention away from the world because he’s just preoccupied so much. I mean, you know, I sit between his work and he’ll come home from work and he’ll just fall asleep on the couch and then get up and go to work again. And he gets very discouraged. Which I can understand. Sure. Well, I would recommend that you just sit down. start slow. If you would just get him into Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, and just encourage him to memorize those.

Just trust in the Lord with all your heart. Tell him that God would like to really just become real in his life. If you just trust the Lord that the Lord would show him great and mighty things. I love Jeremiah 30 verse 3 where it says, call him to me and I’ll answer you and I’ll show you great and mighty things which I’ll know us know us not and and We just we fail we lose out when we don’t pray.

I’d like that old hymn. What a friend we have in Jesus, you know It says how we how we we miss out me forfeit when we don’t take our Problems to the Lord and prayer so he he needs to somehow be, be encouraged But I wouldn’t go too fast I’d just take a couple of verses at a time problems 35 and 60 If he just would memorize those, maybe you can get a plaque with him on it and put it on the wall next to where he sits and then make it nice and a reminder to him all the time of the Lord wanting us to trust him.

Yeah, he just seems to like, I don’t know, the devil must be working on him. All I can say, you know, he just seems like he’s, I can’t, he used to be telling me how He used to pray when he was on a job and he used to pray and everything, but he just become so discouraged with everything. He’s just, I’m glad. Well, he’s not alone. You know, I think the devil’s after all of us and if we’re not careful, we can get into that frame of mind where we just don’t even turn to the Lord.

And sometimes we have to bottom out before we look up and I hope he doesn’t have to get to the bottom before he discovers that. We can find real help in the Lord. I love the Psalms. The Lord is my help. He’s my refuge. He’s the one I can turn to. It really is true. It might seem like a dream to some people, but it’s real. We need to go to the Lord as our helper. I have to run, but thank you, Sarah, so much.

We’ll be praying for your husband and for you. i think you for your information and thank you for what’s worth talking with all right by by now and that was uh… sarah would say we have carl and paper carl welcome to bible and you’re on the air i’m going to pass the hang i just have a question i i’d pretty much know uh… what the script says someone that wanted to go see what’s happening in the she took money because it was there she was telling me that uh…

this guy thought that we was talking about that god gave a little glory and she said she didn’t feel right at all about that and a lot of things that he said that uh… this didn’t set right with her but i just want to be could just kinda talk a little bit about that because i i don’t think that god doesn’t give anybody but you get some scriptures on that maybe i should i be listening right now as a matter of fact so i appreciate it okay i think i have a great what is being said according to what i’ve been hearing thought that is made all kind of trips to heaven and sat down with the apostle paul his log cabin i didn’t know they log cabins in heaven but uh…

uh… some really crazy teachings are coming out of this movement and what you need to do is remember i see a eight twenty if they speak not according to this word that is the bible it is because there is no light in them so you have to really check out what you’re hearing gets the bible and there’s so much nonsense so many things like you said She said it didn’t sit well with her. Well, of course it’s true. Only the Lord has this glory and Christ even asked in the prayer in the garden there in John 17 to be restored with the glory that he had prior to the cross.

As he said, aside his glory to go to the cross and become the man who would die to pay for you and me. But only Jesus is going to receive that glory, that’s for sure. I’m just concerned about today. We have so many people that are gullible and listen to things that are unscriptural and buy into them. I think we have to be careful. We need to read the Word of God and see what it says. By the That verse earlier we were talking about Psalm 1119.

It’s 1119, so God is to be Reverend. He says, he’s the only one that’s to be Reverend’s in relationship to that question. We’ve got a run. Thank you, Carl commune. We’ll be praying for you. And we’re at the end of the day. By the way, we still have a couple openings on our summer camp for teens. June 23rd to the 28th, if you have a teen, I guarantee you they’re going to get some great Bible teaching and be lifted up spiritually and maybe set on a new path to live for Christ.

We also want you to know that the Bible and his sister is supported. We need your help and if you could help us here as we enter June that would be great. You can call today and give a gift to the Bible and we really do thank you in advance for your gifts, your prayers as the Bible and as a miracle. It’s a miracle that we’re on the air. I don’t believe it but God is supplied through wonderful people just like you who say I want to keep this program going and growing and your gift obviously will help that.

Just call and say I’d like to give a gift by credit card or call this for an envelope to be sent or you can go to our website bybellandministries.org and give a gift there on our online bookstore. Don’t forget to check out that music for children on our website at BibleLineMinistries.org and don’t forget to tune us again tomorrow. We’ll be back and have a wonderful day and keep looking up. Thank you so much for your listening every day and being partners with us in prayer, and thank you to all of you who give to my mind to make it possible to be on the air.

We really are counting on you all who pray and give to us to keep us on the air because we don’t have any other support. And we don’t pay any salaries. I don’t get a salary nor does anybody of our people that are putting this program on with me every day. They’re all volunteers. And that’s because we really all feel an urgency to get the gospel out as far as we can while we have time before the Lord returns.

And thank God for all of you because you’re making it possible. And so I believe as you make an investment, you’ll have the greatest return, not only from the results that we get through Bible and reaching people with the gospel and challenging them and they’re stepping up to the plate. Some are going into ministry and others are becoming teachers and rejuvenated as a believer as a result of the programs. We hear this all the time that I believe that God is going to richly reward you as you invest in the Bible and ministry.

Your gifts are the vital part to keep us going and thank God for you. Call and give a gift today, would you? Also don’t forget we have that new part of our website, Bibleline Music for Children. If you don’t have internet, you can call us and we’ll give you the 800 number. You can order those CDs directly over the phone. The people are wonderful and they will help you choose the right CD for your age and sex of child and get that name on there and chip it out to you.

And they come to have it quickly as you heard Linda today say that she got it for her grandchild. It’s powerful. I can testify to that myself. And it’s a wonderful ministry I think that a Bible I now has. Bible and music for children on our website, BibleLineMinistries.org. You’ve got to run, but I’ll be back tomorrow.
